Lowes Home Improvement in other cities:
You will not be receiving a star from me yours customer service is the worst ever worst experience buying a rotten lawn mower Delivery guys delivered it broke off grill bent tire back was bent hood would not set straight That was almost 2 weeks ago Every time we contact jaw Ill say youll get back to us within 24 hours that has yet to happen So now we have to borrow a truck and trailer to bring it back to you to get our money back Never plan on buying anything from me all again and plan on telling L my friends and family to never shop there either
I want to thank Tami for getting us some help in the appliances and Kim for being so knowledgeable and patient with us. We unfortunately couldnt order an oven because they can only be delivered on the bigger trucks and they have a bridge to cross here. Disappointed, but now we know a little more about the different brands.
Someone came up and helped me pick out fluorescent bulbs since I had a 2-year-old with me which made my job harder. He didnt appear to work there since he had no uniform, but I appreciated it nonetheless. Cheaper than Kroger on the bulbs, too. Kids even noticed when I changed the bulbs saying woah when they saw how bright it was.
Working with flooring dept a nightmare.Lack of interest in taking care of customer.Have been waiting 2.5 weeks for someone to call me with estimates. I’ve called 2 times in last week and response is “someone will call you”.Still waiting on the call.. if no call with estimates I’m going somewhere else!!!
Their suppliers they contract out fail to either A. Inspect your mower and fix the issues youre having and/ or B. Fail to reach out at a professional manner of time if at all. No problem paying for $2500 mower and taking your money but apparently cant be bothered to find decent businesses to actually help when you have issues. Then you have someone giving courtesy calls to make sure youre scheduled to have your mower at least looked at and no follow through. Good luck. Maybe I should just stick with Home Depot or Rural King. Honestly see why Lowes is failing.
Rough experience with them today. I had to track down someone in the patio furniture section. They stated they had what I was looking for in stock and then had me go to the register to pay for the items while they went to get the patio set. So I waited through the line to do this then went around back to have it loaded where everyone just stared. Then, they tell me the two patio sets they had in stock they were not able to sell me because the one was being held (they stated the machine couldn’t display that information so they didn’t know) and the other was the display and they are not allowed to sell the display. Then they had me drive back around and wait in a customer service line of 15 people to get a refund. I probably wouldn’t have been as frustrated if it wasn’t for all the driving around with a giant truck and the amount of people.Afterward, I went to another Lowe’s where they looked up a patio set and saw that one was being held for someone and that they had the display available. They allowed the display to be taken. On a positive note, the woman at customer service was very apologetic.
Went to Lowes to buy a kitchen faucet needed some help and found Martin(?) who was very helpful answering all my questions and was very courteous then I moved on to weed eaters and talked to Josiah who was very informative and also very courteous so I bought a string trimmer, spool and oil from him. Then back to plumbing and kitchen faucets again where I talked to Victor he loosened a fitting on the sprayer so I could get it off and cap it. I left before he did this. This was on the afternoon of 6/18/21. Went back today to pick up the faucet and parts I needed and talked to a very nice young man in the paint department who told me about a rebate on deck paint and saved me $10 a gallon. All your associates have been so knowledgeable and helpful that any time I need any type of home repair or DYI supplies Lowes will be my first choice. Thanks so much
Boyfriend and I got some cute rugs and shelves for our new apartment. Good customer service. Super soft, comfortable rug for the living room, a nice one for the bedroom, and one for the office. Had good prices and ended up getting an extra shelf with the left over budget.
I normally dont like to leave a negative review but there were too many issues during my visit. Just about every aisle I turned into plus the main aisles were full of carts. They appeared to be either pick up orders or contractor orders. There were so many and some were so full that you couldnt get a cart through. Some of the stock was also in the middle of the aisles. These issues were near the ceiling tile and roofing areas. They had limited stock available at the floor level of the item I came in for. I went to a service desk to request assistance in getting more stock from higher up. After waiting for at least a minute for someone to acknowledge me, I was told I would be helped shortly. I slowly walked back to the area near the stock and waited. And waited. And waited. I went back to the desk, which was at the end of the aisle, and nobody was there. I waited a bit longer and still nobody showed up. I finally had enough, grabbed a step ladder and got the item myself. The only saving grace to the visit was the very polite and helpful female at the checkout.
Everyone knows that Lowes is one of the best places to go for all of your home repair and decorating needs and your contractor needs. They stock items for anything and everything to address your home remodeling, decorating, and repair. Its very easy to often find contractors shopping at each location who will open share their contact information with you and answer your questions with their professional suggestions. The staff members are knowledgeable and eager to assist. Each location is very large with thousands of items to choose from. I have found the tool selection to be very well stocked with the major name brands at competitive prices. You can always depend on Lowes to find what you need to complete your next project.
Went in on Thursday to pick out a washer, dryer and dish washer for delivery and install and to take away the old appliances. Was told everything was to be delivered Friday. It was delivered Friday however they were not going to install or take away anything. After speaking to 5 different people and THIER delivery contractor I was refunded the pick up charge for the old appliances. Theyll take your money for the product but develope autism after the card is swiped.
Employees were nice. Was looking to get a couple of tool boxes. They had the two I was going to get. One was. Display model, and there were no keys to it.You would think they would have them separate from the boxes so things like that doesnt happen.Went to harbor freight and spent my money
Great place to get home improvement products and then some. I go there to buy lumber and needed dish soap. Was surprised that they carry some of the basics of living. The only complaint Id have is the quality of help. Its very hard finding an employee that can help with items you needed. Took me about 20 minutes to find someone that could cut some vinyl.Overall, its a good place... not the best, but good.
Went to pick up an air compressor. They were on a high rack. Employee told us they only had one tow motor that was capable of getting it down, and was going to be a half hour before they could get it down. So we waited 30 minutes after waiting 15 minutes to find someone who knew what we were after. It was somewhat chaos. Then another customer thought he was going to cut inline, but was thwarted. All in all store was under managed. They need more pickers. And childish customers who think they should be first over someone who has been waiting long already.
Id give a negative 5star if I could. 80 yr old father purchased riding mower. Was not delivered on time. Kept giving him the run around on delivery. Then found out they charged him twice on his credit card. Very slow and painful for them to correct their fiasco!!! Terrible customer service.
Im new to the area and have been there 3 times now but there is never anyone to help. There are employees walking around but either they know nothing about that are or there is never anyone around. If I ask for help and you dont know go find me the help for crying out loud. I know everyone is struggling for help but this is crazy.
There are only 2 big box hardware stores in town. I used to shop exclusively at lowes, Unfortunately the quality of service at this particular Lowes has gone down Hill drastically. You can buy anything you need anywhere, In a store or online, Service is the one deciding factor that retailers can control.
This place has the worst customer service I’ve ever had. Ordered a grill 3 weeks ago and made 3 trips one hour each way to find it wasn’t there. This is after the called and said it’s ready. Not to mention so repeatedly called (8 times ) asking to speak with a manager about the issues and have yet to get a return call. I would leave negative stars if I could
Lowes is one of the best hardware stores that I know of and the employees are all very friendly spoken, respectful, considerably to the customer needs. They wont leave you unsure of what you wanted. You can always count on the employees to get you exactly what you want and some.
Its always been a good store to have around. No complaints at all.I was there yesterday to try to find replacement rollers for our sliding glass door. I asked the first employee I saw, no where near the doors yet. I just showed him the old one and he knew right away what it was and exactly where to find it.
Terrible customer service. Went to purchase carpet and were first in line. Was told by Paige she would get someone to help us. Waited over half an hour, while 2 other customers were helped before us and still did not get any help. Tried to speak with a manager and they would not come out to speak with us either. Ended up walking out and made my $600 purchase elsewhere. Will not be coming back here.
It has a wide selection, but it is usually hard to fine someone there to help you. Ive also had help a few times from people who obviously did not know what they were talking about or how to do their job. Finding a specific item that Ive bought there (it has been moved) and being told something like that doesnt exist and having some linoleum cut (had to go back twice due to wrong length). Friendly cashiers and a clean store though.
That one time when I was a contractor this was a really good place to go to you. All of us contractors when theyre when we was in the area and could find anything we needed at the best prices and the best deals in the best customer service. Over the years that has all changed just like every other place. Customer service sucks. As far as the prices if you compare and price match things to other places youre still possible to get good dealsbut even when you do that the customer service sucks and they look at you like you are doing something wrong for price matching which is a service that they offer.they are also supposed to give you an additional 10% off when you price match to give you a better deal there but they even throw a fit about that!
Don’t waste your time. From now on I will drive to grove city or even Columbus an go to Home Depot they will get my money no longer Lowe’s. Went up there last week to return some insulation. Instead of someone waiting on me I stood at the service desk(which had several girls behind it laughing an playing on phones with each other nope they said nothing to me whole time ) for a good 15 mins . Then once I got someone to help me it took another 25 all to wait for someone to bring her some money so she could refund me my cash. Lowe’s is quick to take the money but not at returning . Worst customer service EVER!!!
Went here to purchase plexiglass and wood for frames . Devin. Took care of getting my plexiglass pc down from stock . Kevin helped get all 25 1x6x10 s out and helped me load all into truck . these 2 young men did a great job . the best customer service . GOOD WORKERS LOKE THESE 2 ARE VERY RARE IN THIS DAY AND AGE
Leaving this review in particular for Juyan in flooring. He was AMAZING! Ive never had a better experience at Lowes. I came in looking for luxury vinyl flooring options with my mother, and Juyon was so fun, professional, and matched our energy so well, which is something we value in an associate. He was kind, funny, helpful, and really listened and understood our flooring needs. After explaining the room functionality and design we were looking for, he showed us great options and knew offhand what specials and sales were happening with each. He then went to OUTSIDE to the parking lot to find the right size cart because there wasnt one available inside, brought it back into the store and loaded 18 boxes of (HEAVY) LVT onto it, and then personally helped us load it into the back of our truck. He went way above and beyond for us.It gets better! We noticed every single interaction he had with fellow staff members (his colleague in the flooring department, employees passing by the flooring section, and the guy taking carts back into the store from the parking lot) and he knew everyones name and asked them how they were/how their day was. He so effortlessly exuded the kind of professionalism, leadership, and kindness that we should all strive for in our jobs (and as humans!). Lowes should be VERY proud of this man not only for his knowledge of their products and services, but for the quality of his character and the values he so clearly embodies! Give this man a raise!
Lowe’s Chillicothe has the worst customer service of any store. They won’t answer department calls and purposely hang you up to keep from answering. Do not buy large items as they do not stand up for you if you have a legitimate warranty claim. Poorly managed...... luckily there are options to avoid this store.
Went over the weekend to get door locks and Kevin was quick to help us. Very nice guy, plus he gave my little girl a star balloon hanging up because she kept wanting one. It’s nice to see customer service like that now an days. I’ll most definitely be coming back to this Lowe’s more often.
I love Lowes, they take care us vets! The only reason the didnt get 5 stars is because I swear they pump something in the air to make us happier then we already are, as if we need to be happier than that being in a big kid toy store, regardless, by the time you get in your car and you think of the receipt, the happy dust has worn off and it hits you!
Bad customer service. When I called for some HVAC supplies, they couldnt figure out who I needed to talk to. They transferred me several times and ultimately, I ended up waiting on hold for over 20 minutes without any getting back to me. I called back and they immediately put me on hold again and after 5 minutes passed, I just hung up. Lowes doesnt want your business. Id go somewhere else.
I learned the hard way that the customer service quality goes down when the prices go up. After several great experiences buying tools and lawn/garden supplies, I decided to give them a shot for major appliances. After waiting two weeks for our fridge to arrive, it showed up damaged. We refused it. Then, we got no communication from the store about next steps. When I finally spoke to a manager, she didnt seem very concerned with ensuring our happiness. After being told we would have to wait another two weeks (probably) for another fridge, I cancelled the order two days later, they charged us for the fridge again. It took three customer service reps half an hour to figure out how to process my refund, and I never did get an apology for our inconvenience. We went to a competitor, were treated like royalty and got a better fridge. Will never buy appliances from Lowes again, and will shop at other hardware stores before buying from Lowes.
Lowes has the best selection, best staff, best website, and services out there. Most chain stores lose base with their customers, but not these people. Go there tomorrow and buy something.. anything.. and ask a question about what youre buying. Theyll know the answer.
Love this place, but watch if you have a return. Had to exchange a drill set my boyfriend had bought and we thought that had went smoothly. Until we went to return it because he decided to go with a different brand. The manager from the exchange had done it in a way that we couldnt get our money back, we could only get store credit. Wouldnt have been a big deal if he hadnt already got another drill and we needed the money for bills.
This store is a joke. The manager has no clue what they are doing. The store is only existing due to its commercial contracts. If you come in as an independent you can expect no help, unless you feel like waiting on one of the employees to finish their personal conversations , certain times and days and in certain departments you may find a helpful person but it seems your luck determines how your experience will turn out. The carts to help you move your larger items are always being held hostage to overflow items. So if you like search for ever changing inventory and carrying heavy things to the front piece by piece then you may like this location.
Friendly, knowledgeable and helpful staff. The store is well-maintained and often times I find my wife and I coming here just to walk through and look at the awesome displays for inspiration.Prices are also reasonable. If you are not a do-it-yourselfer, Lowes also offers professional installation on many of the items it sells.
We ordered a dishwasher from Lowes. It was delivered having been completely impaled by a forklift! It had 2 huge holes ran clear through it! We also ordered kitchen cabinets from Lowes in Chillicothe. 2 weeks later when we went to pick them up they said they were on 4 seperate orders...??? It took almost 2 hours to straighten that out so that we could keep the sale price. Then when we got the cabinets home & unloaded, 1 of them looked like it had been dragged through the store & 1 was missing. When we told them about it they were nice & helpful & set it up to have them delivered. When the truck arrived they only had 1 cabinet & It was completely busted through in the back. We called to have it picked up & the others delivered. A few days later they show up with...1 cabinet...& wouldnt take the damaged pantry cabinet with them saying it wasnt in their paperwork to do so. We ended up taking the damaged one back ourselves & wasting most of our Saturday. Almost 2 months later & were still waiting on the trash can cabinet mounting kit we ordered. We will never order from Lowes again.
Went to pick up online orders for sink and countertops and stood there waiting for TWO HOURS. If you cant find an order come back and tell us. Dont start helping other customers and tell us that youll be there shortly. Two hours is not shortly. HIGHLY Disappointed and HIGHLY do not reccomend Lowes in chillicothe.
The employees werent the most helpful in this store. I had wanted to exchange some Craftsman tools which I know they just started doing. However, I waited 45 minutes while countless customers moved past me. After what felt like an eternity, I was told they didnt have any yet. Why it took so long to tell me this, I dont know.
Our nightmare began November 27th. We went into Lowe’s to get a washer and dryer as our dryer went out and they were having an early Black Friday sale. I took out a credit card to pay for the appliances which were over $1,000 dollars with delivery and installation. We were told by the sales lady they offered free next day delivery on the appliances we selected, but since the next day was a holiday they’d be in touch on Friday. We didn’t hear from the all weekend so we gave them a call on Monday (December 2). When we called we were told the appliances couldn’t be delivered until December 21st. We asked to speak to the manager, Jesse, who said our appliances would be coming from the Maysville, KY store. He said we would have to call them the next day (Tuesday December 3) to find out when they’d arrive. We called them and they said the order had been transferred back to Chillicothe because Maysville didn’t have it in stock. So we called Chillicothe again and were told the manager, LaShonna, had changed things around in the system and we would have to pick the appliance up at the store on December 9th—keep in mind we had already paid for delivery because we do not have a way to haul the appliances. We said we could not do this and asked to speak to the manager. We were told she was busy but would call us back-she never did. So we called again the next day, December 4th, now one week after we ordered our “next day delivery” appliances. We spoke to Tyler who said the appliances would be delivered December 7 by a third party distributor and we would need to call them December 6 to find out delivery time. We called the distributor December 6 and they said it was good to go, but they didn’t have the time yet so to call the next morning. So, on December 7 we called and were told Lowe’s had canceled our order but could not give us a reason why. Jesse at Chillicothe Lowe’s also could not answer to us why the order had been canceled. We contacted the corporate office about the issue and were told the order had been canceled by the Chillicothe store because they needed “confirmation we still wanted the appliances.” What part of me paying for the appliances and calling you multiple times a day for over a week to get them gave you the impression I didn’t want them? Unfortunately this isn’t the only bad experience, but thankfully it will be the last. As my husband told Jesse the last time we called in, we wouldn’t buy toilet paper from the store again, let alone any major purchases. On the bright side, we went to Chillicothe Menards and got a better deal on appliances that were actually delivered when they said they would be.
They have stuff. If you need stuff? But the stuff you fine here. You will find on your own. Maybe you can get someone to help you. If you need help? It did not go so well for me. I was trying to work on siding. But I havent done that for a while. I was trying to make sure I got everything that I needed. While I was there. When I finally went and found someone. The two guys were riding on the forklift. Well one on the forklift and the other one walking beside it. When I ask my questions. They looked and acted like. I had asked for the Cure to covid 19. LOL! Anyway!!! The reason I marked it as okay. Is because its okay to get what you need here. Somewhat. But the biggest problem I have with everywhere I go.! Almost. The help sucks! Peoples attitude toward helping customers. Absolutely! Suck!. I hope this helps you.
We were in the store for 2 hours. Only one person offered to help. We asked several others for help and they either didnt know where to find what we were looking for or would just point in a general direction. Several workers were just standing around talking, not working at all.
Love lowes for tools and I have bought a lot of great tools from here. Went in today to but porch railing and couldnt find any. I dont know if this is an online option only but I didnt have any success at getting anything I needed. They have gutter equipment which was another reason I was going so I was happy with that! No walkway square stones though so I hope someone sees this and goes to menards for those. Great store if you go for tools or a specific item they have.
Delivery for washer and dryer is terrible! My Mother purchased a washer and dryer set from the Chillicothe, OH location to be delivered to her Circleville, OH residence. All the delivery times requested were between 3-8PM. First delivery showed up with only the dryer and knew nothing about the washer, second delivery no call no show, third attempt after 3-8 delivery time they called and were at the home at Noon (she works, and was not off), fourth attempt they delivered washer and dryer but did not bring the purchased necessary hook-ups (water hoses & dryer cord) and the delivery man said they would not have time to help with the issue. The store manager (woman I believe is Wendy?) was of no assistance to this matter and kept forwarding us to their third-party delivery company, who again kept making promises and agreements that were not kept. We will from now on go else where with our purchases, the experience from the Chillicothe Lowe’s was unacceptable and the management in charge needs to be addressed or fired! Go to Menard’s!
I have been a customer of lowes for a long time but finally buy a big purchase that needs delivered and they call day b4 deliver as a reminder and when asked what time they say they will call again to let us know and guess what they didnt. And I go outside to see a note on my door saying missed delivery. And guess what I was home the hole time and never herd the the door either. How funny that is and not cool at all. Kinda makes me want to take my receipt back to the store and get my almost $1,800 back. Is this why delivery is placed as free so they can screw over the customers and not deliver at all?
We. went. there to see about a refrigerator they were to hold it for us. Went back three days later to pay for it did not evan have us in the computer went back to the appliance center they did not have any more and would mot sell the one on display. We were treated very bad. They did not want to work with us. We went to. Big. Sandy and got one.
RIP OFFS: watch what you buy, I bought a craftsman hammer drill for about 200 dollars and it had a 3 year warranty they told me to pick out another drill and sit at the costumer service desk for a half hour then told me I cant get a new drill the one I bought didnt last 3 months I was told to call acouple numbers but cant get ahold of anyone I used to go to lowes for everything but now they wont get another dime from me
I have to say its extremely hard to get good customer service anymore, but today we had excellent customer service at the chillicothe lowes. Tracy made the whole experience much easier than usual and went above and beyond to help us with our purchase. Thank you Tracy.
I have started to go back to Lowes after going to Menards for years because lowes is now giving a military discount and I dont have to wait 2 months for a rebate. Lowes prices are a little higher. If they had a 10% discount at the same time as Menards 11% I would always go there.
I just had the worse experience at Lowes today....at 2:15 pm my son and i was going in... The guy at the door was plain rude he said I cant go in to the doors that I have to go to the other side never give me no explanation... So we turned around and started in the other way....Omg that lady was twice as mean...ask what we thought we where doing...... I didnt know there was a line... But both of them where way out of line... well they just lost a lot of money from my sons place of employment and my roommates place of employment.... I will go to Menards from now on
After spending over $30,000 and refinishing our kitchen and a few other rooms I will never shop at Lowe’s again. I purchased a $3000.00 zero turn lawnmower after having it only 57 days the mower is broken and not usable. Went into the store to return it like they told me to on the phone. I spent three hours in the store trying to process the return after waiting all this time I was informed that if it had been within 45 days they would have exchanged it for me however since it was 57 days they could not help me. After speaking with the manufacture Husquvarna they informed me that they have sent an RA (return authorization) to Lowe’s so I could exchange the mower, lowes absolutely says that they have not received. This is absolutely ridiculous I will never shop here again. Come to find out this is Lowes fault due to being assembled in the store improperly! Very disappointing. I live 5 miles from Home Depot and 40 miles from this Lowes and I have always gone past Home Depot to shop at Lowe’s however it seems Lowes does not value their customers very well. My company and I both spent a lot of money with Lowes however that is going to change starting today.
Aweful. I can not say worse about this place they food an old man for Grantid. They basically stole his money. We went in spent 2 hours arguing with a man named johnny who in the end still convinced my father to spend 100 more dollars on extra vynal flooring that he will never need . it was the worst experience I have ever had anywhere
Went for job interview... Seasonal.... seems like all they know how to hire for... how can you buy a car, house etc when you only work there 6 months 10.58 a hour 10 to 30 hours a week? I worked there before then layed me off 2 weeks before I can qualify for unemployment!!!
Lowes is one of the biggest home improvement stores in Chillicothe. If Lowes doesnt have it, they will either special order it; or tell you where you can find it. Lowes also gives a veteran discount where the other big home improvement store in Chillicothe on Bridge St. does not.
Purchased fridge on 6/5/17 could not be delivered until 6/19/17 delivery came refused due to large dent in freezer door; was told emergency delivery would be arranged just received call on 6/25/17 cannot deliver until 6/28/17 and that is would be considered emergency delivery - seriously folks never again - I could have ordered online from a competitor and had the fridge the week I bought it - 3 weeks ago

2022-02-18Excellent installation of our washer and dryer tonight in Frankfort, Ohio. The gentlemen arrived during a torrential downpour and flawlessly installed the appliances in about an hour. Highly recommended, no problems whatsoever.

2021-06-24So my travels over last few days for home improvements suppliers have led me to the Chillicothe Lowe’s. To be honest I was expecting a small town type of atmosphere but this place is surprisingly awesome. This place has a small town feel but a big city selection as any and all Lowes typically are.The staff here is a reflection of the community which is friendly outgoing and eager to provide assistance. If you’re looking for home improvements supplies in Circleville I would say this is probably your best choice

2022-02-03This place is terrible. Theres never anyone to help you. Tried to buy carpet and have it installed- first went in to talk to someone and the 1 person working told me he was busy cutting carpet squares and we could wait and hed help us book an appointment. I said dont worry about that, I could do that online. So I did. Measurement went well but then never heard from Lowes when I was told Id get a call from Lowes. Called the store, more than once, never anyone working there. Was told to just come in. Yea I can come in, where no one is working, or get told to wait again? Im literally looking to spend thousands to put flooring throughout a 2500sqft home. Guess Im going somewhere else that actually wants my money.

2022-06-16The young man that brought out my curb side order was so nice. For some strange reason there was part of it in a locker. He was kind enough to run back inside and grab that for me to. Prices could be better but theres nothing the employees can do about that

2022-06-21I had to go and find someone to help me. And all they did was to say it was over there. Then I had to ask them again for help. When I checked put the cashier was very friendly and very helpful. Such a change than getting someone to help me.

2022-05-11My beautiful wife and I bought a washer/dryer pair about a month ago at Lowes in Chillicothe. It was a much needed purchase. The transaction was smooth, informative, and pleasant. The next day delivery was professional, properly installed, and seamless.About a week ago, we bought a battery powered weedeater at Lowes and are presently keeping our lush, green, and spacious yard immaculate. The neighbors are green with envy (lol)

2022-06-17Was looking for a 4th of July wreath but was sold out. Should have got one when I first seen them.
