Lowes Home Improvement in other cities:
Delivery service is lazy-came to my home looked at the front entrance-never called me just drove off-I have another entrance into my home-got a call a few minutes later saying they needed to reschedule because my entrance wasn’t clear of snow-had they called I could have told them I have another entrance… tried to call customer service to have them come back and they refused
I recently purchased carpeting from the Arlington Road Akron Store. I have a 12 x 12 foot room which was installed in two pieces. However, it looks like a patchwork quilt. Half the room is dark and half is light. The lighter side contains a 1-1/2 strip that is darker. It looks horrible. The carpet has to be defective. I was told by their customer service that I must wait 90 DAYS for the colors to even out! OMG! Are they for real? Colors even out???? I have never heard of color changing carpet. What ever happened to customer satisfaction??? I requested to have this carpet removed and my money returned but they insist I wait 90 days! I do not want to order this carpeting again or any carpeting from Lowes - I want a refund! I am a very dissatisfied customer and will NEVER purchase from them again. BEWARE do not buy the Shaw carpeting called Fetch-Hazelwood!UPDATE -- I recently had a carpet inspector from Shaw Industries look at my carpet. He took numerous pictures (its been almost 90 days later and it still looks as bad as it did the day they installed it). He wanted to steam clean my carpet to even out the discoloration. I refused and requested that I be able to pick a different carpeting or refund my money. They denied the claim. Is it too much to ask for carpeting to look good on the day it is installed? Steam cleaning brand new carpeting? OMG. I have had carpeting installed in my homes in the past and HAVE NEVER had had an issue like this! I let them (Lowes and Shaw Industries) jerk me around for 90 DAYS .... time for this to stop .... looks like legal help is required.
This place is ridiculous we were going to get carpet and tile for our home they charged us $35 to have someone come out and give us an estimate when we got the estimate the estimate was so high it was at least 1,800 more then carpet company in hartville I called and told the manager and he said well if you dont like it dont come back wow
I purchased a stove 3 years ago and my stove blew out and sparked up due the cords being loose. I just had to pay $120 for repairs to get a new terminal block and cord because you didn’t put the part on that keeps the cord from coming loose. I just bought my mother a stove a few months ago and I won’t be using you guys anymore. If I’m paying good money it should last very long. Thanks for not installing correctly
Rick in tools was very helpful kind and taught me something new about a tool I was looking to purchase for my husbands birthday. I appreciate Rick taking the time to talk with me and teach me something new. Lowes needs to give Rick a raise, promotion or buy him an all paid vacation to the Bahamas!! I will definitely be back to this store because of how he treated me.
Went in there for some kind of specialty light bulb. I was intimidated as I looked at what seemed like 5,000 different bulbs! Then an older gentleman came down the aisle and asked if I needed help. I showed him the old bulb and he knew exactly where they were. I was on my way with a new bulb and alot less stress....LOL....thanks for the quick assistance!!
I have shopped here on numerous occasions in the last few months and have found employees to be more security than assistance. I witnessed a man steal power tools, load them in his vehicle and then come back in the store, steal more stuff and let his accomplice know they should make a run for it. Lines were backed up before the incident, and it took me almost a half hour to buy my pineapple floor mat....weeks later i visit the store, doing regular shopping, I asked to purchase a very large tool box. The gentleman helping goes to dig through the stock and get it ready for sale. This took quite some time, and was told to be available. I continued to shop for many other items in the tool corral when i was followed and eventually cornered by an old man with a cart. I told him several times why i was there. I spent a significant amount of money that day and was treated like a would be thief! I go there because they have decent packs of contractor ceiling fans and was also stalked and eventually givin a lesson on aerodynamics that was ludicrous. This store is a joke.
Ordered a refrigerator and had a date set for delivery. I took off work that day so I could be available to let them in. I was told they would call the night before with a time frame for delivery and then call the day of when they were on their way. Never heard from anyone so the day of delivery I called the store and was told my delivery date was changed to the next day. They tried to say I talked to someone and ok’d it. No one ever called me and I definitely wouldn’t have ok’d it because I work a full day the next day and wouldn’t have been available. They couldn’t say anything other than sorry not sure what happened. I missed out on an entire day of work and pay for nothing. Unacceptable
I would like to give a big thanks to manger Melanie and construction manager Adam. We was shipped the wrong material for our deck. They worked with us and got the correct material to us quickly. Our deck is almost done, if it will stop raining. Again, big thank you !!!! Cynthia Buchanan
They dont like blacks! They gave a lady a veterans discount & she wasnt even a vet. I tried it & they said sorry you have to be a vet for the discount. I gave them my phone number for the discount because I am a vet. I just wanted to see what theyd say. Its another one of those places where they watch the hell out of blacks to make sure they dont steal.
Bought painting supplies 10/12/2020. Tried to return unused extra items 1/12/2021. Was told I was over 90 day return policy by 1 day. Associate said nothing they could do. I wasnt trying to cheat the system. I had just procrastinated due to the pandemic. My mistake. Decent store for home improvement supplies like Home Depot down the street, but stringent on their policies with no accommodation at all. I would have been willing to take store credit as I shop their often, but I guess they dont care to have my business.
Its Big! I like that they have Craftmans tools not just home label brands. Sometimes I ask for help and usually I get good help. Cleaning and sanitizing products are available but theres a price to pay. I checked their website for items I needed and they showed in stock and they were on the shelf when I got there. Garage door parts, I thought were reasonably priced.
We traveled here from another location to get a patio set they CONFIRMED they had while we were in store. We paid for it, and delivery/assembly. The day before it was supposed to be delivered they called to say they no longer had it. They sold it AGAIN to someone else. We went today to a different location and the only comparable option to what we had purchased is $1,000 MORE.We purchased the set originally because we needed it for this weekend. Very upsetting. Will never buy anything from lowes I cant just walk out with again.
In July, I watched someone walk out of the store who purchased the chest freezer I had ordered online and thought had been set aside by staff. When I let the customer help desk person know, they said it was a different model than mine. It was not, the label was clear. I waited for about an hour for them to tell me that the stock room numbers were incorrect and sent me on my way. I had to ask for a refund for them to give it to me. No offer to makes things right. Very frustrated.Would not recommend.Ended up waiting 3 months for a Home Depot delivery that went much smoother.
Sold me a defective lawnmower it died before a single year I took it back then they charged me again to have it fixed. I asked for craftsman, as well as corporate number but they refused to give it to me so I was sold a broken product and they wouldnt even say what was wrong with the mower in the first place I wouldnt buy a pack of scotch tape from them anymore
The Lowes in Akron on Arlington is staffed by friendly, helpful people who, if they dont know the answer to your question or where an item is located, will take the time to find out. Both of the employees we encountered offered assistance to us without needing to be asked. Being able to purchase a quantity of lumber prior to its delivery will ensure we dont make unnecessary trips back to the store, and I appreciate this suggestion because I admittedly did not know that was an option for lumber!
Lowes is a great place to pick up pretty much anything you need to complete a task. But the problem Ive been finding and the reason why Im giving a 4 out of 5, is that during the last year pandemic and actually this year as well, certain things are just very difficult to find. other than that I guess its a five star I cant hold a pandemic against them. So well just go ahead and say five
Had a difficult return issue regarding the responsibility between Lowes and a manufacturer. Lowes set us up with a fix that satisfied the issue at their highest level and, fortunately, fix the problem. Everyone was patient and accommodating. These five stars go to the staff. On the phone and in the store.Kudos and thanks!
I highly recommend NOT using Curbside Pickup and possibly using another Lowes location altogether. Waited at Curbside Pickup for 1 hour before I had to go inside and be ignored while waiting at the Customer Service desk, especially when their was an apparent middle manager standing there the whole time. Thankfully Liz, from Appliances, has some real customer service skills.
I’ve had to personally go retrieve some or all of the items from the store shelves on my last three web orders. Employees don’t care and/or apparently don’t want to take the time to look. One of the orders, they even went as far as marking an o-ring kit out of stock after claiming they couldn’t find it. There were two full rows of that specific o-ring kit (probably 20+ kits). The latest experience was them canceling an entire order, because they couldn’t find one item. I think I’m giving up on web orders.- - - - - - -Update 10/29/2020: Placed two orders. One was picked successfully. The other order was canceled without a phone call, but all items were in-stock, as I found them all myself.
Stopped at Lowes this a.m. not 100% sure what I was after. Todays a friends birthday wanting to get her flowers but I hate buying flowers 💐 cuz they just die soon thereafter anyway. Larry, an older gentleman, was working in the Garden area and we exchanged the how do ya dos then I went on to confess my plight as I was looking at flowers that will be done (dead) in 4 to 6wks.Larry was very helpful AND knowledgeable; not only steering me in the right direction and available options but also making some suggestions for me. I left, very pleased, with a Double Knockout Rose bush but now than that--- I left, very pleased with Larrys ability to pleasantly help me... hes got a knack for excellent customer service.
The North Canton stories outstanding. I had an issue with another store and pricing. After I made a purchase at another Lowes, the cost paid was in excess of what was advertised. North Canton very professionally addressed the circumstances and adjusted the price accordinglyThey are very outstanding people at this facility. There are other Lowes stores near here that have lost my business. I will always be faithful to this Lowes location.
Absolutely no customer service whatsoever. looking for knowledgeable staff member who knows difference between air conditioner and evaporative air cooler. Nobody knew about them nobody had them nobody could get them. I guess Lowes has decided that its too expensive to staff their stores with knowledgeable people.
My favorite of the big box hardware stores. This location is decent. Clean. Organized. If you like finding outdoor plants at a steal, their clearance section had some major goodies the last couple times I was there. I do wish they had a larger houseplant section. I go to the Belden/N. Canton location for that.
I paid for 20 bags of brick nuggets at customer service and went to lawn and garden for pickup. None in stock. Went back to customer service for refund. They suggested near by store in Wadsworth. Went to Wadsworth and paid for 20 bags, they had 345. After thirty minutes of waiting, ( they could not find anyone to pull them, tow motor) I went to customer service for a refund. Got home and completed an online store pick up order at the green location. They called me and notified me that they could not fill the order. I give up. Lowe’s must not need my order or my money
While I normally enjoy my visit to Lowes, this time was a bit too different. I placed an order online that was ready a few days ago. After visiting customer service, who was very friendly the entire time, I was notified that they couldnt find my order. After about an hour wait, it ends up being located and its ready on one pallet. Took roughly 20 minutes longer to get the pallet loaded into a pickup. Help was minimal in the store too while I was searching for other items to purchase during this entire wait. I encountered two people throughout my walk of the store, one of which was incredibly helpful. Overall, its normally not bad, but this situation prompted a review.
I was very disappointed in the attitude of the appliance salesman. Was sent to this store from Arlington Rd store since they did not have the microwave we wanted at their store. By the way Arlington personnel were superb. I will not shop at this store again and definitely not recommend it to anyone!!!!!
Ordered a grill online. Sent wife to pick it up. They brought it out pre assembled. I text her, told her not to take a floor model without a price cut. They insured her it was not out on display. That I selected online the option to assemble. (I did not) So she gets it home & goes to unload & notices the grill had all kinds of dings, scuffs & paint marks. She returns it & tells them she wants something that in New & in a box 📦 Turns out they had none! Zero!! She goes to look at grills & they are all on display! Why would I pay full price for something that sat out all summer on the store floor? Better yet why do your employees think it is ok to lie to the customers??? She said they just assembled it after I made my order!🤬
Lowes is always great best hardware store around... If you are looking to get great products at a even better price Lowes is the place to go Home Depot , Ace, and Menards all they carry is china made junk. Those store will even play games like the box is made in the USA but the actual product your buying is made in a different country as cheap as they can make it.... Always Go Lowes...
Is the worst Lowes that Ive ever been into in my entire life. One particular employee was of no help, that was sitting behind the desk on a computer and wasnt even from that department, and upon realizing she had no knowledge of what subject matter was being inquired about she offered no assistance whatsoever in obtaining an employee from that department with more knowledge.
Very friendly and helpful! Pick up of pre-ordered merchandise was on the opposite side of the store from contractor parking which was odd and made it a little bit harder for pick up of larger orders. All of our things from the order were ready and waiting and were reasonably priced.
Employees arent very helpful. When they are stocking shelves, they dont make an effort to move over a bit so the customer can get through. At one point an employee was talking to another employee while stocking the shelf and when I went to go through they didnt bother to move and gave me a dirty look as though I was interrupting their conversation.
Terry was nice but said they do not match Menards prices? The last visit for me, Wadsworth was happy to take the business away from Menards. Quite a difference in customer service. Ill stick with Wadsworth in the future!!! No one offered to help load quite a few bags of concrete. Although the young man passed me loading it myself several times. Thanks again for the poor service.
We had so many issues with our countertops that we designed and ordered through Lowes. The company they subcontract the installation out to was absolutely terrible to deal with (go over and read the reviews for Rocksolid Surfaces out of Cleveland). We tried to deal with them directly for many months, but once they became too difficult to deal with, we had to ask Lowes to get back involved. That didnt help matters move along any quicker tho. All and all it took 3 months of constant calls and little to no response. We were never allowed to even speak to a supervisor throughout this entire process. Anytime we called and asked we would get the run around (they are all in meetings, they arent available...we would leave messages and the voice message greeting would say they were out of the office MONTHS ago). One day I was on hold for THREE HOURS after requesting to speak to a supervisor. Now knowing the types of companies they work with and their complete lack of costumer service, I will never return to another Lowes again. We spent far too much money to be treated the way we were.
This review isnt specific to this location, its for Lowes, the entire chain. We made the mistake of contracting with Lowes to remodel our kitchen. They were wonderful during the design process. Pricing is just okay. But beware, once you pay, and you have to pay in full to start, you become a nobody! They just dump you on a subcontractor and leave you to manage the entire project yourself! Its coming up on a year and were still not completed. If they damage anything during their working on your project, good luck getting them to fix it. They damaged a brand new Wolf induction cook top and refused to replace it. At almost every chance to get something wrong, they did. Over and over again through the whole process. Never again will I use Lowes for any remodeling. Even after contacting the office of the president and having a representative assigned to help, nothing changed. Just empty apologies. We dealt with Becky and Allison in Marvin Ellisons (president and CEO) office. Worthless. Comments welcome.
Great service!! first went to Home Depot just down the road, and waited 20 minutes and no one would wait on us so we went to Lowes and we were handled immediately and professionally! We were there to spend $500 on a dishwasher. Apparently Home Depot did not need our money....
Ordered a out door rug and was told to pick up the next day. Called to see if ready had no Idea what I was talking about was told to call back at the end of the week. Called and placed on hold for 25 minutes then hung up on! Called back and transferred again, not very professional at all🥶
Usually experience is okay. This time they messed up pricing on one item which I didnt catch until I got in the car. They corrected the error but I wasted 20 minutes doing it. Also noticed they had more cashiers this visit. Not having enough cashiers has been a long standing pet peeve of mine. Hopefully its permanent.
We finished our basement and used pro services through our contractor at this location for the bulk of the needed supplies... over $12k. They ended up overcharging us and ordering supplies we didn’t need for a refund of over $3500 in 3 separate refunds. Luckily when the supplies arrived our contractor was there to sort things out to tell them about the mistakes and unneeded supplies. Not sure if I would recommend their pro services as they seemed unorganized and obviously do not double check their ordering
Overall when it comes to home improvement supplies Lowes normally has me covered.HOWEVER, the last two times Ive been to this Green location Ive had a horrible experience because of VERY long checkout times. Not from waiting in line, but when actually checking out the cashiers have had technical problems that theyve had to call for technical support. No exaggeration I mustve waited close to 25 minutes there yesterday when they were trying to back out of a sale because something got rung up wrong then their IT department forgot to logout of the terminal making it unusable by the cashier. 2 other employees ended up helping to get me taken care of... It was a whole ordeal.Tonight when I tried to use my Store Credit card again the terminal said the system was offline and the girl had to call some support line. After waiting on hold for 10 minutes I asked if we could just use a different payment and we want that route instead (wish I wouldve know that was an option before wasting 10 minutes of my life just standing there).I live closer to Hartville Hardware so Ill just start going there if they dont have this kind of problem.
Never used this Lowe’s (Arlington branch) before but recently moved to the area. Had 2 large shipments ordered, spent thousands of dollars, and they screwed BOTH up!! One shipment went to an address we haven’t lived at for months, the other only delivered one out of three items to the correct address. Customer service is useless and delivery department is even worse.Never had these issues with Home Depot, and will be going back there for future needs.
My husband stopped in to buy a product that was listed in the current sale flyer. After questioning the posted price, he was told by the manager it was no longer on sale. In bringing up the My Lowes app, we found it listed at the sale price, and were able to order it for pick up. But now we have to go back to the store after we were already there this evening.
My regular hardware store is closed on Sundays, everything done right every time. Arrived at Lowes to buy PT Lumber 1x6x8s to finish up job. Quality of boards is very poor. Only needed 8 boards. After sorting through 20 and not finding one average quality board I gave up. Thought it might only be this size board so went to 10ers, same issue. Also, couldnt find anyone to help??? I have a Lowes Credit Card and My Lowes Card, cutting them up. I will stick with my local hardware store and better plan for them being closed on Sundays. They always have knowledgeable and experienced people at your beck and call. The quality of their products is superior to any chain store. It shows an elevated sense of pride on managements part as well as a healthy respect for their customers and their expectations. My parents say it reminds them of how stores use to be run. If thats the case please bring back those days!!! Apparently what our colleges are teaching their business major students is more of a predatory, everyman for himself management technique. Sad state of affairs.
Looking for a lawnmower. Employees from the lawnmower section were super informative and helpful in making our decision on the best model. Customer service AND checkout employees were also very helpful, as well as the young man that took our mower to the car, out of the box, and disposed of the box for us. This is the place to shop!
So glad you asked, after i stood by the countertop section and watched the salesmen finsh w their customer icontinued to look at countertops for another 25min. Not one person asked if I needed help I had to go try to find someone. When i told him that I had been looking for 30min.he glossed over it all I wanted was some prices to replace my countertops, which he gave me. He walked away then came back gave me his card and had the audaciously to ask for him when he was so indifferently avoiding the fact I complained about waiting 30min. I will not make my major purchase with lowes. I am waiting for my cabinets to arrive and he reminded me why I didnt buy them from lowes. PS they were$11000.00 .so im glad he made no commission
Update to my review. I will never shop at Lowes again. I purchased a special ordered Masonite door with custom hinge and lock set locations for a repair job for a customer whose door was dented by a moving company. It took 8 weeks to get the door. My customers were closing on their house and had to have the door replaced before closing. Upon receiving the door, at first glance everything seemed ok. When I installed the door, I discovered that the total length of the door was incorrect. All my other measurements for the lockset locations and hinge locations were spot on. They did offer to make a new door but that was another 8 weeks. We could not wait that long. My customers then discovered 4 small dimples on the lower part of the new door. They refused to pay for the door after all the stress of waiting for two months. I called and talked to the manager of Lowes and he assured me that they would reimburse me for the lost money. After a couple weeks they did reimburse me 180 dollars of the 440 dollars the door costed. I was told Masonite was going to cover the rest of the cost. After a few weeks of never hearing back from Lowes, I stopped in to talk to Chasten. At that point he informed me that they werent going to pay the rest of the cost of the door. I will never ever shop at Lowes again. Home Depot is right down the street and I have never had any issues with them. If something isnt right, they take care of it. Beware!
The push mower I bought a year ago stopped working. I had a warranty, but the contracted repair company called it a user error. We disagree and have discussed the situation with enough knowledgeable people to believe there has to be another reason the oil drained so quickly, which damaged the engine. Repair tech was a jerk to me as well, refused to listen. Managers I spoke with at least waived the diagnostic fee. Will not buy a mower from here and will not pay extra for an extended warranty. Useless.
Wow! What an experience. Where do I start.Went in on a Wednesday evening to purchase a stove. There was about 15 cars in the lot and very few people inside. I go to appliances to look at stoves and have my eye on one. The gentleman working was with two other customers so I waited my turn. He finished with those guests and walked past me telling he’d be “just a moment, he had to do something”.So I waited. And waited. And waited. He walked past me about 12 minutes later with a dolly and a box so I assumed he was moving merchandise.Anyhow, he finally got to me and I pointed out a price difference on a stove that was larger and should of been more. He said it was “probably a mistake”. I said well that’s possibly false advert and that he’d probably want to take care of that. So I told him I wanted the other stove and supposedly WAS priced right and less. I asked if delivery was free and he said “yes, we’ll wait, let me look. No free delivery is only on $399 or more”. So again, he should of known that before giving me false info. I told him I’d take it now then. We went to the computer and he then had to go look in the back and came back out saying the truck wasn’t unloaded yet and said it would be 3 hours before it was unburied. Then he did offer me free delivery. That was about the only nice thing this guy did for me. I went to pay with a 10% coupon I got for having just moved and he said he didn’t know how to process it and sent me to the front of the store after setting up delivery. He said they’d call the next day, today, to set up a time for them to deliver it. So I went to the front, checked out and left. Yay, I bought a stove and it’s coming tomorrow!Well I get a phone call his morning at 7:40 saying they’re gonna be at my house between 8-9. Not to schedule a time to deliver it, to tell me when it was being delivered. I’m at work and can’t leave so I ask if there’s anyway to push it back to later. They tell me it can be between noon and 1. I say that’s more doable and hurry to get my work done to be home by noon. It’s currently 1:15 and I have yet to receive a call confirming they’re coming.I will never shop at Lowe’s again as this was a horrible experience all around. If it wasn’t for a gift card, I would of went to Home Depot. I’ll stick with them from now on!!
The worst retail experience I have ever had! Ran in to grab 5 bags of mulch, and over 45 minutes later finally walked out. Why you may ask? Upon approaching the garden center checkout both registers were open, but after waiting 10 mintues in line I was told the cashier could not take me because this register was closed, and I would need to move to the other line. Since she refused to cash us out we moved to the other line. While waiting in the other line the casher that was apparantley closed cashed out FOUR other customers that walked up after we were told to change lines, and was checking out the FIFTH when we finally got through the other line. A horrible experience, and will never shop lowes again!
Mom went to this Lowes to get some replacement ends for repairing a couple of garden hoses. One needed exchanged from a female to male during the repair, so I grabbed the receipt and wrong end and headed over. The heavy set blue haired girl gave me nothing but trouble from the start. I thought it could be an even exchange, but not so easy with her because my mom got .40 cents off with her military discount. I didnt have the correct cell number she originally used at Lowes for them to look it up. Long story short, I had to request a manager 3 times before she called one. Curtis came and handled it under 45 seconds. I suspect blue haired girl had issues with my MAGA hat, but thats just my gut feeling.
Terrible customer service in the garden shop. (Renee and Shelby in the Green, Ohio store) This has happened on several occasions. It needs to be reported to the store manager, which I tried to do. I waited over 10 minutes for the store manager, Jason to answer when he was paged. He wouldnt answer so I could not go find him. This is why we go to Home Depot more frequently, especially for our larger purchases.
Walked out as this Lowes does not mandate mask wearing in the store. Also, I would not expect to wait for 15 to 20 minutes at 9:30AM for you to restock lumber and close an entire row. Went to Home Depot up the road and got in and out in 20 minutes. BTW - Every person I saw at Home Depot was wearing a mask.
Im very disappointed in the store. Spent a lot of money on appliances and the dryer didnt come with a cord! No one informed me That one would be needed and its a additional $20 plus no line to the gas stove either. Next time I will go to Daleys in Barberton free delivery and they set up and everything was provided that was needed. I bought this for my Daughter and spent thousands at Lowes for windows paint landscape. Not good customer service and I will take my business somewhere else from now on.
Worst customer service for multiple big orders. I had used the brimfield location in the past for multiple home renovations with no issues. This location has messed up and lied to me about the timing of each order which we have yet to see. The manager and complaint line have never returned my calls. What a disappointment of a store- never place an order here unless you never want to see the product
Lots of standing around and gossiping. When I finally picked a rep to help the dude wanted to talk to his friend across the aisle about a gaming laptop. And he led me to a bellows for a fireplace instead of a powder dispenser. He was clueless and unprofessional.Usually my husband receives good service from this location so I left 3 stars. But this sll occurred a year ago so who knows what their employees are like now.
Went in to have a key made. While waiting FIFTEEN minutes for a salesman to show up I was reading literature on the counter stating that the type of key I needed was stocked. Truth is thats fifteen minutes I can never get back, and they dont stock them, even though advertised.
The worst customer service! Nobody ever helps me. I walked around plumbing today for at least 30 minutes and several associates walked by and did not offer to help. I refuse to ask for help in a big box store Every time I go here nobody asks to help me. Horrible customer service!!
I am very displeased with how my situation has been handled. I purchased a dishwasher and paid for the install through Lowes (which is a third party installer).. I had my product installed on November 26th the next few days I worked 12 hour shifts. I noticed in the those days after that my counter top is moving up and down is no longer secured after the install and has also dropped down. My fiance and I made concerns to Lowes multiple times. They finally sent out the same installer that had installed the dishwasher which than accused me of how the countertop was installed and it being my fault but, (he used a crowbar to lift my countertop to get the dishwasher in).. i have now had a manager from lowes and a countertop sales woman out to my house (which are both not installers).. they suggested things we could and now we are in contact with an installer but, (he tells us he is mostly done plumbing work) and cant come till a week later which will be the fourth time someone has been out to my house.. No-one is taking my issue serious seems how there is a sink in the middle of my countertop that is moving every time the counter top moves.. bottom line is this was my first experience with Lowes and will definitely be my last I could not be any more displeased with there concern.. I havent even got to enjoy the dishwasher because I am afraid of all the damage around it... So I am warning people before they buy an appliance from lowes and pay for that installation like I did..
I needed a range for a poor lady raising a bunch of kids and grandkids that I know from church. I told the manager Scott McIntire my need and limited budget. Scott spent as much time as I needed teaching us about ranges and he helped us get a good deal on a used, scratch and dent range with full guarantees. Thanks Scott! We weren’t after something for free, just a good deal to help someone who is very deserving. You came through. Lowe’s needs more people like you.
I bought a garbage disposal and paid for the $189 installation. When he finally installs it he says its an extra 50 because its one size bigger. Then he forgets to turn back on the dishwasher. $430 dollars and over a week waiting for installation and I still cant use my dishwasher!
Over the last several years we have purchase a whole house full of carpet. Sadly because it wasnt installed with the correct stretcher we have had to pay outside contractors to come back and try to correct this mess. Lowes sent someone out one time and then dropped us. You want to buy carpet. GO TO A CARPET STORE!!!
HORRIBLE SERIVCE. I HAD TO STAND AND WAIT IN LINE FOR HOURS TO BE ALLOWED TO USE MY FAMILIES AUTHORIZED CREDIT CARD!!!!! Lowes, this is stupid. Dan was the specialist at the cash register. Not very helpful. WALKED AWAY AND HAD SOMEONE ELSE DEAL WITH IT....... LEFT ME STANDING IN THE STORE!!! Please send him to training, as a family member who IS ON THE ACCOUNT should be able to use the card. MY DAD AND I ARE BOTH ON THE ACCOUNT. Wasted my Saturday! Thanks.... GREEN OH LOCATION
Had to change my reveiw. I had to go back and get my own sku#. While the kid Ali sat there on his phone in lawn and garden by the time i got back was still setting there own his phone doing nothing hella customer service you have. To top it off they wanted me to push 800#s all the way to lumber to get a sku#...ive spent 7000$ in less than a month there think its time to try my luck at home depot.
The lady that helped us was rushing through door selections and did not spend time describing things she did not get up to show us samples of doors and at one point told us she did not know how much installation was. She also told us Pell made everything. We left feeling like we had no answers We may try another store location
Walked up to the cashier with two small bottles of cleaner. Two cashiers were standing there talking niether stopped their conversation to say hi. I just stood there waiting for them to do their job. Finally I said hello and one began ringing me up while continuing her conversation with the other cashier. She didnt put my items in a bag, I had to do that. Not trying to be a whiner here but she has one job and failed miserably.
Went looking for a certain aisle that the item I was looking for was inCould not find it. An associate found me looking for it and took me to the aisle. Was not where I thought as the numbers fo the other aisles were in order then the numbers jumped to a different area entirely. Was not able to find a map online of the store to help.
I do not know how the window department stays in business. On July 3, I signed a contract with the window salesman for install of 5 pella windows. I thought they were ordered. When I called, texted, and emailed the salesman I received no response from him so I called the manager. The manager found out the windows were not ordered so I went and paid for the windows but they couldnt confirm with me that I got 5 pella windows. I called the salesman to ask him to confirm the window order. He never got back with me like he said he would.Over two weeks later he got back with me and said only 2 windows were pella and the other two were by United. He also told me he called me back in July to tell me this information but I didnt return his call. My phone showed no record of him calling me.Buyer beware if you want to use the Green Lowes for window installation. The salesman does not do what he says he is going to do.
Very disappointed, i bought a belt for my roto tiller at the n Canton location, needed it return it. I happened to be at the Green location and they wouldnt do the return because they dont sell that size belt. Then associate in appliances did not listen to what i said i needed and sold me the wrong part. Now i have 2 returns
I like Lowe’s but I do not like who they hire for cashiers! Half of them are too busy on their phones, talking with other employees while checking customers out and never talking about work! I was there a few weeks ago and I could smell our cashier from 3 people back from the register...I had to hold my breath when I went to pay! If you can smell your employees hand them a stick of deodorant or send them home!
Purchased a microwave from the Lowes at 186 N. Cleveland-Massillon in Akron, back in April. Worked wonderfully until a few days ago when it died. We called that Lowes and a manager said they would replace it. This however is our local Lowes and thus we came here instead of driving out to the other one. Needless to say we called the one in Akron and they still said that they would honor replacing it. Instead of this Lowes communicating with the other one and saving us wasted time, we had to drive to the other store.
Was terrible customer service walked out and did not get my flooring. No help totally ignored me when tried to get help was told have to wait till they get done with orders wow already waited 30 mins after 45 left, so when have orders coming in, the in-store customers do not recieve help smh not a way to keep customers

2022-06-22Great! I was looking for fly paper, could not find it. So asked an employee. He helped me find it and I thanked him. Turned out he was the Store Manager. Thanks Chris, you were so kind and helpful! You thanked me for shopping there! It was a pleasure and it was nice to meet you!

2022-06-06We ordered an expensive washer, dryer and refrigerator in January for our new home that was completed in May and had the delivery schedule for months. The refrigerator and dryer arrived and the employees didn’t have the installation kits and tools to install. We waited for 2 days for another day for our washer to be delivered and all appliances to be connected. It’s been 2 weeks of “no show” installation appointments, multiple excuses such as truck broke down and issues with the driver?! They have a 3rd party customer service for deliveries and they are very unprofessional! We called the store several times and we are told that they can’t help us. The store already received their money and commission so they don’t care!! PLEASE! Don’t buy from this company. We tried to buy from a local company but they can’t get the appliances due to the aftermath of Covid.

2022-06-10This place has really gone down hill lately. Between the lack of associates and items having clearance tags on them that are not on clearance I would rather travel the extra few miles to the Canton Lowes.Tonight I stopped by and found a really decent deal on drawer pulls so I grabbed a bunch and brought them to the associate (J) on register 8. They rang up incorrectly and when I asked him about it the guy had the audacity to sigh and say that I read the price wrong. Sounds like 5 star customer service to me. He was trying to decline a protection plan that I wanted and didnt even hand me the protection plan packet. This might be the reason why you have a lack of employees and sadly the ones that you do have are not pleasant. Cant say Ill be shopping here much longer. Corporate will love hearing about this gem of a store.

2022-05-28I am here now. Been here for over half hour. Looking for dishwasher and another client went up front to gave someone cone help. Still waiting. Hubby went up front and asked for help, 20 min later, still waiting. I went up and asked for help, they act like I was first on asking. Turns around and talks to someone, says nothing to me, and walks on by like I dont exist. I headed back to tell hubby for this reason alone I did not want to buy here. If they were not the only place that had dishwasher in stock I would walk out. Finally get someone. We tell her what we want, she says not in stock. We had to ask her to check, knowing they did. Lol she hated telling us she was wrong. Will see how this goes. Customer service is not the way it used to be.

2022-03-27When I shop at this store, there’s always an issue with an item price at the register. Then you stand there for a very long time waiting on them to figure out what to do. Usually stems from some sort of a sale that they can’t figure out how to ring up and honer the display price. To make things even worse, there are always employees walking around aimlessly, including managers, that will not jump on a register and clear out the line. Way to go Lowes!

2022-06-15For lowes protection plan on a refrigerator, I was lied to by a store associate and dealing with a simple reimbursement has been a nightmare. I was told 4 different stories from them and still waiting for it.

2022-02-27If I could leave zero stars, I would. The workers here are not motivated by anything and could care less about their customers. Matt in the appliance department was extremely unhelpful. Came in with an item #, told us it was in the corner by the cabinets, wasn’t there. Asked another man in the loading department if he could help, he shook his head no and went back to playing on his phone while improperly wearing his mask. The lady at customer service was not helpful and basically said she could not help us order a freezer that we were told was in store.Lowes lost money, and a customer. I wish they could lose their unprofessional, lazy employees too.
