So happy with the work done on my 7500 gallon koi pond. Pond was cleaned, plants relocated and koi inspected. My pond is now cleaner, healthier and more aesthetically pleasing. Art has checked back with me twice to see how the plants are doing in their new location. I appreciate his knowledge and great service.

Working with the owner and this company has by far been the worst experience we had ever had with any business. Their interaction with us both over the phone and while onsite at our home was completely unprofessional. They took days and weeks to return any of our phone calls. Also - not only did they repeatedly inform us that we were on their schedule and not actually schedule us nor show up over the course of several months, but when they did finally commit to coming out they were almost 3 hours late. They provided us a timeframe of about 1-130pm on a Thursday, but they never showed up within this timeframe nor did they even call to inform us what was happening, why they were late or if they were even still coming as they had committed. We had to be the ones to call them around 3pm, of which they then informed us that they would be on their way and it would still be another hour (4pm) until they would get there. Two people eventually showed up, which included the owner, and we had to provide them with our own hose and one of our yard carts. They had also stated and confirmed to us that their service fee was $45/hour, which was completely fine and appropriate. However, when we later pressed him for an estimate he said it was $45 per person per hour (so really $90/hr for us) and that we should have assumed this was what he had meant. He then cut me off and said this is how this industry and business works... Additionally - shortly after they had arrived, they killed at least a third of our koi fish through their pump that they used. The most frustrating part was that the owner did not even stop and inform us that he had sucked up any of the fish and shredded them through their pump. He proceeded to start picking up the pieces of fish that were blown across our yard like nothing had happened. We were not even sure if he was even going to mention anything to us. However, my wife was watching the whole incident unfold and finally confronted him about it. When confronted, his reaction and response was to inform us that the fish dying is all part of nature and compared it to a heron picking out fish and killing them to eat. He also proceeded to tell us about how he has chickens and how one time he lost some of them to a predator… Ultimately, no apology was made whatsoever until we brought up the fact that he had not even apologized for their mistake. Even then his apology to my wife was “I’m sorry I was not perceptive of your feelings”… He then proceeded to walk out and shut our gate without even saying he was leaving and without even finishing up the job and/or cleaning up any of the mess they had left with our pond (including rocks and the dead fish and fish pieces scattered throughout our deck and yard). We then asked if he was actually leaving without saying anything, and his response was “Yes, because I feel like I just wasted 5 hours of my time” (even though they had only been there for a little over an hour). Overall, we felt very disrespected by the owner and this company. Our fish were killed, they left a mess and did not finish the job, we were left to pick up and dispose of all the dead fish and fish pieces ourselves, and we still had to find another contractor/business to come finish work on our pond. Below are pictures showing a sample of the dead fish and our yard after they had left.

Pacing vehicles on 33 and can’t get around them. Then floors it so no one can get around them. When you call the number they don’t care and hang up. Very unprofessional

Great company. Had a koi pond put in and it looks great. Fish are multiplying and very happy. They did exactly what I wanted done, with a few extras of their own. The owner and helper were very courteous to me and my family. Would recommend this company to anyone and feel comfortable about it. Thank you Living Waters for making my yard and patio look and feel great.

I recommend Living Waters to anyone & everyone needing landscaping services, a pond/supplies, beautiful fish, invisible fencing, and more. It is a wonderful local family run business! They do amazingly beautiful work. The owner is incredibly knowledgeable about what he does and takes the time to explain things fully so you know what you’re doing. Art has been in business for a LONG time and there’s a reason for that: he’s the BEST in the business!

Awful customer service!!! Bought a skimmer and all of the needed materials to hook it up and spent way to much money but I thought I would support the local business. NEVER AGAIN will I purchase anything from this place. I took the next day off from work to install this outfit and only to find out that he sent me home with the wrong size of discharge hose. They did not answer the phone until late afternoon and by now I’m upset. He said that when he was close to town he would call me, well he never called and I ended up talking to him later on and by now it’s a wash. I did get the problem resolved but never again will I support his business. Honestly I have never seen such a cluttered and chaotic looking store / garage. I would stay away!!!!!

Spoke to the owner who is a Veterinarian. My Koi fish had a strange sore on his face and the owner talked me through his symptoms, determined it was an ulcer and told me how to treat the situation. Very, very helpful. I had called other places in Columbus and couldnt get anyone to call me back to help. AAA++++

Called Art to fix a leak on my waterfall. He and the crew showed up when expected, within 5 minutes pinpointed the leak, and were able to eliminate it quickly. Very friendly people! They saved me so much stress because I was unable to fix the leak myself. I would HIGHLY recommend Living Waters Pond Supply for all your pond needs!!

Took weeks to return calls. Talked to them in early March and was told they would be out as soon as the weather warmed up. Finally got them scheduled to come out in the end of May after calling 4 times and they were supposed to be here at 1 or 1:30. I called at 3 to see where they were and they said they would be here in an hour. Upon arrival they needed to use my hose, as I was getting it hooked up for them they dropped their pump in and somehow sucked a bunch of my koi through the pump, chopping them up and spraying them into my yard. Then once the pond was drained and my fish in a holding tank my husband asked him to verify the total estimate. When he arrived he told me their service call fee was $45/hr. He then informed us once the pond was empty that it’s $45/hr/person doubling our rate. When I told him that was not the quoted cost he told me that I should have assumed that it was per person, because “that’s how this industry works”. I just finished picking up chopped up koi parts out of my yard. Totally heartbroken and sorry I ever called them
