Lineage Logistics in other cities:
Took me 4 hours before my 11 am appointment time. As others have said they will unload you quickly but that does not mean you are done. The wait for paperwork was 2 hours. Cant complain was still leaving before I was even supposed to be here. Not sure why others said overnight parking. They must of just gotten lucky. There is very little room. I went to the backside dock to park and they came out and said I had to leave and come back closer to my appointment. There is a partially vacant warehouse right across the street from guard shack entrance that has a lots of room to park. Please just dont be a slob and leave your trash laying around and get all trucks banned from parking there.
Second truck for 5 AM appointments because, according to office, all appointments are 5 AM. We were 20 minutes early. Checked in, received door and in door 15 min early. 15 pallets and the truck who showed up late AFTER us with full load was started before us. Reasoning from office staff? They didnt have enough floor space. Now. If we have less than the late guy with full load, why would you fill up MORE floor space you dont have with his load? First come first serve SHOULD MEAN FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE. And do not get me started on not maintaining winter care for your lot you expect drivers to slide their axels on. If you cant grip - it dont slip! Learn what business youre in. This is pathetic and a poor excuse for logistics. DO YOUR JOB. WE DID OURS.
Nice people. But a strange layout. You have to go in what looks like an employee entrance to check in. Its one way in and one way out. you have to go into the gated area, then do a sharp u-turn, and go back out that same gate, back out onto the street, down half the block, and then take another right into the other side. then whoever designed this layout did it backwards from what normal truck drivers prefer. You kind of go into a tight right hand turn and you have to blind side.unless you somehow have empty docks where you can do it another tight u-turn.Every time I show up I only have one pallet, but for some reason it takes three or more hours. They unload quickly, but whatever happens inside takes forever.I have to say though, Tony is the man. Really nice guy. If not for him, it would be a 2 star review.
Dont deliver there. Unless you want to lose a whole week. They wont honor the rescheduled appointments, (the original carrier cancelled the pickup). They were completely apathetic to my plight (having to wait a week to get empty). Dont make the same mistake.Update 1/6/202nd time delivering experience was a lot betterFrozen loadTurnaround time 1-2 hoursBy appointment only
1. When coming here [by big truck], make sure to follow truck routes. The police take this very seriously.2. Driver check-in is at the southwest gate. You must go there first.3. Receiving docks are at northeast gate.4. OVERNIGHT PARKING IS ALLOWED!!! (awesome sauce!)5. Staff is extremely friendly and unloaders are pretty quick.
Not that great of an experience, I showed up the night before and checked in with them. They said they might be able to get to me early, they did but it still took them forever. I was basically awake all night. Absolutely no room for parking. Lots of trucks in and out all night. The last thing the lady in the shipping and receiving office said to me before I walked out the door was, good luck! wth?! It seems the other posts made before mine say a lot as well.
Friendly people.Note:. This is a very small parking area to work with trying to back into the docks. Its worse at night, as the docks are usually full and the local trucks are moving around in the lot staging trailers and leaving on their routes. It will try your patience and your skills trying to maneuver around.Also:. There is NO overnight parking available.
If I could give this place a lower rating I would. Twice our trucks have arrived early for a delivery appointment and twice we were turned away because they were overbooked and could not unload the truck. Chuck Kuharich, the manager would not take our calls to answer why a confirmed appointment would not be honored. We lost time and money due to his poor management. We have told our customers we will never deliver to this location again and suggested they reach out to their customers to find a more efficiently run cold storage. Carries beware, this company does not care about drivers or HOS regulations. Avoid being delayed by this poorly managed excuse for a cold storage facility!!!!
Currently working on first shift as a temp porter, I like the job and I do whatever is asked of me, Im older and take pride in my work, they have noticed my work and seem to be enterested in keeping me on. I have been begging them for a job when so many who are hired in there dont want their job? With no quarantees its certainly unsettling!! Hopefully one of them that matter will see this post and help! May 2020 to present..
The aspect of the cheaper the better rings true in the server room and end user terminals. The turn over rate rings true in not only dock workers but shift supervision. As of March 2019 the balance of production and office did not complement each other. This is a freezer atmosphere, it is cold .
The worst cold storage in the state of ohio , they have a tendency to turn the temperatures up when they are closed then turn them back up when they are open . Do not deal with these people if you are looking for cold storage for frozen foods , our food that was frozen when delivered to them was half thawed when we went to pick up the next day for our restaurant . We had to throw the whole shipment out due to it is not safe to thaw then refreeze food . We close our account with them at once and took our bussiness elsewhere. Also we talked to the ower / manager and he was very nasty mouthed , not a person that should be in any form of bussiness . We rate this place a F and we have made a report to the fda about them.

2020-10-06I’m more than impressed with this location. It looses a star because trailers are parked in front of the doors. Which creates a safety hazard when backing. The guard is pretty awesome. Make sure to slide your tandems before you back in the door.

2022-07-07Not too bad. Arrived 6:50AM for 7AM appointment, done with signed bills by 9AM. Half a trailer load. Guard, receiving department and lumpers friendly.

2022-08-19Very easy. Enter to check in on Carter st (first gate on left) shipping side. The receiving side is on the other side of the building first driveway to the right on Cochran. Park along the fence and go to office with Blue door.

2022-08-16I went through wrong entrance to check in, it’s the first driveway. Got a door on back side of building, not a lot of trailers sitting around when I was there. Done under 2 hours and I was there around lunchtime.

2017-10-26The warehouse has a gate you must get through. And if the security person is present you can. If not, then you wait. Once inside you get a bad feeling in the pit of your stomach. There isnt much room in here. Not much at all. But the thing that confuses me most about these type of places is, why do the jumpers wait 45 minutes to an hour after they unload you to tell you how much you need to pay? I give this place 3 stars. I figure I am very generous.

2022-02-07Actually good for a capstone lumper. Appointment at 0300, showed up at 0200, gone at 0315. Not a good setup for backing unless you have room to turn around.

2021-07-28So I followed one of the reviews from a week old that said there was overnight parking. Wrong. There’s no overnight parking at all so don’t even bother to come and try to go in thinking they’ll let you in to sleep in there. Came about 1.5 miles to a circle k near by and I asked them if I could sleep there the lady working at that time was very nice and polite and said it was fine they’re 24hrs and that it was ok for me to park. But there’s only room for 1 maybe 2 semis here. Good luck.
