Life Time in other cities:
Great gym with highly motivated, ambitious people! I feel inspired whenever I go there. My favorite part of the gym is the pool area with the saunas and the yoga studio. The locker room and the bathrooms are clean and well maintained.Although the equipment could be newer and the classes are usually very crowded.
Very large space, with many machines . Corporate feeling.. lack of individuality. I had a great massage, but also used the steam room where I felt the place was not clean. Also the Coffee shop is similar the a 3 star hotel breakfast place . Again many will find what they are looking for , but not cozy and relaxing…
I love Lifetime! The staff are very friendly and they keep the place very clean and welcoming. The outdoor pool feels more like a resort than a gym. Gym equipment is well maintained. Also, I love the spa where I get my nails done. This place embodies health and wellness :-)
The lifeguards are very rude. My boys ages are 7 and 8 years old. They can swim and they always play inside the kids area in the pool. Sometimes I go inside the sauna at the pool area and I keep watching my kids from the sauna. Once I go inside the sauna, the lifeguards keep harassing my children and yell at them till they cry. They always do like this when the parents are not sitting especially the dads. It is 2022 and they still harassing the children and the moms who are going overthere with out the father. When the father is there, they afraid to do that. This is a child abuse. This place dont have any code of ethics. Stay beside your children because all the pool staff are impudent and not trusted.
So disappointed and my heart is broken. I heard two of the lifeguards making fun of my autistic son when I was going out of the bathroom at the pool area. My son was inside the pool. He is super energetic and he likes to play in a different way. He likes to move his head and his hands all the time to have fun. My son is autistic but he is smart and kind. At that time I asked for the pool manager, they sent me to a person named Madison Snopik. She was very rude and aggressive. Her response was, you must be imagining. I really was shocked but then I said to myself, since the manager is like this, the guards must be the same. I wish this place do some effort to teach their incompetent rude employees how to respect people and not make fun of their pain.
You pay 70 dollars a month and you never can use the leisure pool or the lap pool. It is booked all the week-long for swimming lessons till night. Except for the weekends but I dont go to the gym at the weekends. This gym is a leisure facility not a swimming school. We pay to use our facilities. When I complained to the pool manager Sara bruzzese, she told me that, the swimming lessons are more profitable for them than the regular membership. The members in the swimming lessons can not pay only for the lessons, they have to pay the membership fees plus the lessons fees to join. So they are more important than the regular members who pay only for the membership. Above all of that, you can not even relax in the hot tub because of the coaches continous yellings. After my complaint about this issue, the pool manager Sara bruzzese and the lifeguards started giving me bad attitude and they turned to be very rude. They are trying too hard to make me quit my gym. I really feel persecuted. But life is a circle, every trick they do, will come back to them someday. They are the best example of the unprofessionalism.
I have been a member since 2009 and it is sad to see the club decline so much over the past few years. The locker rooms are a mess, the two hot tubs rarely are open due to something being broken. I go in the mornings around 5am and there’s no reason that they locker room is in such horrible condition this early in the morning. In the evening the locker rooms are an outright disaster.
I have been a member from almost the beginning. A great place to work-out, relax and get in shape. Plenty of things to keep you active. The staff is cordial, professional, and do their best to respond to the needs of the members. Lifetime is a nice place. Its better than some small college athletic facilities. Join up and see for yourself.
The staff is incompetent and rude. Management has absolutely no concept of hospitality. Machines are frequently broken and stay broken for weeks at a time. The sauna inside the locker room is never hot. The sauna by the pool is frequently broken. Bring your own towels because half the time there are none. Don’t plan on drying any wet clothing because the machine will be broken. I frequently see the general manager there working out, if she spent half as much time as she did working out on making sure the place was running properly it would be a great gym. The café hours don’t make any sense whatsoever they are always closed at peak hours, the pool concession stand is rarely open. They frequently close down the entire pool for yoga retreats which take up a fraction of the area which is only to entice new clients by screwing over current ones that pay monthly dues. They went from 24 hours to a midnight, to closing at 11. They said it’a for cleaning however the showers, locker rooms and bathrooms are often gross. It did not used to be like this there has been some sort of change in management and they are awful.
The Dublin location is very nice. The staff keep things very clean and there is plenty of wipes etc for use when exercising. The two hot tubs are a good size, lots of room. The indoor pool is typical Lifetime pool. The outside pool is pretty nice, no real complaints yet other than the schedule. Due to staffing issues the pools close at different time. so if you are heading out with the kids it would be a good idea to check the pool family hours beforehand.
Lifetime is an amazing place. I’ve been there for a few months now and have only utilized a small portion of what they have to offer. That being said my little corner of lifetime has shown me a complete transformation. I’ve lost 28 pounds and toned up the pandemic bod . The staff are great, the equipment is perfect, the classes are packed, and the massage is legit. Highly recommend.
I’ve been a member here for years and I love it however the cafe staff is very rude and makes you feel like your a nuisance to them. The face of the gym is mainly the front desk and cafe and sadly the cafe could care less about providing good service or treating members and guests kindly. I asked for ice the other day and the worker threw down his pen, grabbed a cup of ice and dumped it in my cup and all down my hand and arm as if he was extremely upset I was even there or asking for ice. This is one of many bad service experiences and it’s unfortunate.
In prior years, this facility welcomed the local BSA Scout troop to come in to conduct their annual swim test. We made plans to do so again this year and they confirmed this several times. One of our scouts is a lifeguard at Life Time and he volunteered to supervise so that no on the clock employee would need to watch us. Upon our arrival, management decided they didnt want us there and refused entry without paying $10/youth and $20/adult. Out of 30+ families, I think 3 have memberships there and Im sure 0 will consider joining in the future. Fortunately someone called over to The Club at Corazon and they were immediately, extremely welcoming of our troop (at no cost).
Been a member for many years. Lifetime has done an excellent job with cleaning & having wipe down stuff available usually.Update from previous review: more classes & more spots..still have to register very quickly after registration opens.Teachers are experienced, good at encouraging good form. Too bad they dont pay them well. (They have a hard time getting subs) .I have made several good workout buddy friends that helps workouts be less tedious. Overall happy with the club
Watch out! Dont complain about any employee to the general manager Jessica Orwig. Just cancel your membership and leave. I complained about an employee and it was a lifetime lesson. After your complaint, the general manager will immediately inform this employee about you and your complaint. From then and on, you will be intimidated and your problem will be ten. They have no ethics.
No pain no gain they say. Well the fall from heaven must have been far for exceptional staff such as Rachel to have grown literal angel wings and a halo. She has shown that this lifetime has exceptional standards and that their staff truly care and not make us feel just like “customers.”Not to mention their other amenities are fantastic. Legs feel like noodles? Well you can’t spell spaghetti without spa. Lifetime spa has you covered, literally, with the hands of professional massage therapists.Might as well call it the calf-ay instead of the cafe because your calves will get a workout constantly coming back for the delicious options at the cafe. This is by far the best lifetime and gym that the area has to offer. The manager Rachel has made sure that lifetime stays true to their name where the friendships (and gains) don’t just last for one session but for an actual lifetime.
Very dissatisfied and disappointed with the club..The sauna in the Mens Locker room and most especially the co-ed in the pool area has a very musty odor. The are not cleaning thoroughly and properly enough and its really important to leave the doors open and let the room properly air dry out before closing the doors or you have too much built up humidity and this leads to this type of funky smell and then eventually wood rot.The is also a lot of debris and staining then dust and sediment underneath the heating elements for the sauna all the tile floor around it needs to be pressure washed or hit with a cleaning brush. This particular matter is common issue with many of the Lifetime Athletic clubs unfortunately (although not all) as is band aids and trash be stuck between the wood grooves because the staff is going in there and visually inspecting often enough and it seems that they even miss this when they do their supposed deep cleanings. I didnt personally see a problem with trash in the sun as well I was there fortunately so Ill give them credit for that. The staff was extremely aggressive about trying to get people out the door at 11:00 to the point of verbally rasing their voice (the Operations Manger) and made a point to say anyone there after 11 is trespassing, seriously.I have never and being a member for over 5 years and being at half of the Lifetime clubs in the country, seen staff so aggressive about this. Ive seen something close to this with one other club recently where someone was being passive aggressive about the showers getting ready to be closed.Honestly the staff didnt use to be aggressive like this at all. Mind you many of the clubs were open till midnight, or 24 hours a day and those hours have been completely reduced even though all the COVID restrictions have been removed. Not a single members rates were reduced when the hours were reduced anywhere. The high member dues assuredly were factoring in the fact that many of the clubs were open 24/7 in the past. So the members or left paying more for reduced hours and then on top of this, getting to deal with the stress of hostile members.Additionally they were completely out of towels and this turned into a bit of a hot topic as well.I really hope Lifetime can find a way to expand their hours or allow for more of a grace period after closing time to allow people to get out the door. For how much people pay in dues Lifetime really should think about hiring more staff. This club visit was very unpleasant. Ive left several other recent clubs 5 star reviews.Further more the Operations Mangers was almost seething with anger and I good see it on his face when I mentioned I was going to be calling corporate about how unpleasant my experience one.He at least was able to mostly keep his cool and not get nasty with me or become further aggressive which I appreciate. We are paid dues members and I wasnt sitting around there loitering or just hanging out I was doing my best to get out of there in a timely manner. My exit time was delayed because I had to spend much of my gym visit just looking for an hunting for towels.I feel bad for the staff apparently they are short handed. However there is still a way for them to deal with members without shouting like a Drill Sergeant.I was in the Military and his level of volume and tone was over the top a bit degrading / overly aggressive. You could hear the anger in his voice. It just did not sit well with me at all.The expression its not what you say its how you say it, rings true with this situation for sure.Again things could have been worse I suppose. However this is not the type of behavior that is customary for Lifetime Athletic. Honestly I hope they hire more people or figure something out so that the staff are acting so stressed. Maybe having an over night cleansing crew that get there at closing time or beforehand. Maybe shout at people still working out after close not people in showers clearly making their way out. No grace period at all. Expand hours please, or lower dues
Ive been working remotely in Ohio for a week now & I needed to join a gym. I walked in yesterday asked if Life Time is offering any month to month plan for those impacted by COVID. I was treated very well by the front desk & introduced to Rachel Shaw, Sales Manager. I had a wonderful experience speaking with Rachel -- she was very accommodating to my needs, professional & even took the opportunity to get to know me personally. I walked out with a membership shortly after.Im very excited about joining Life Time after this experience. Highly recommend! Oh.. and the gym is pretty nice too ;)
Lifetime fitness Dublin is a very good place for families but the catastrophe is the staff at the pool. The staff at the pool are very rude and not professional. When I complained to the manager, she didnt do anything thing, she cant make decisions. I felt she preferred to lose a customer instead of losing an employee and search for another professional one.
I have been a member if LT for a couple of years and I recently moved to the Dublin area which would make this gym my closest gym.The pros:1)This gym has pretty much every type of equipment you could ever need.2)Pretty much all of the equipment is newer and doesnt have any. issue3) The staff and members seem to do a good job cleaningThe Cons:1) monthly membership is $80, but this does mean you have access to any LT gym that cost less than that.2) I was using their jump ropes only to be interrupted mid workout and told that the jump ropes are only for classes because they tend to disappear. If this is an issue then give customers the ability to checkout this equipment I am paying a lot of money to not be able to use equipment. Since moving here I have seen multiple guests use the jump ropes without any issue and some where even handed out by their own staff. I dont believe I was targeted by any means, but I would like to see consistency but I would much prefer to have the option to check out the equipment3) The older gentleman working the front desk in the morning is very polite, but one morning I went to the bathroom stall and left my shaker bottle on the bathroom sink. Once I came out of the stall (only a few minutes later) it was gone. I went to the front desk and asked if anyone turned it in as lost and he told me that no and that he saw it and threw it away.
😷 Easton lifetime fitness require members and nonmembers to wear a mask Plus they take your 🌡temperature as you enter the building. I enjoy the warm 🏊🏾♂️pool exercise and Hydro cycling 🚴🏽♀️classes. They keep the place very 🧽clean and they have a young lady that works in the female locker room. Very friendly very welcoming to all people. I highly recommend lifetime fitness for seniors and young people alike. Keep up the wonderful work👍🏾
I loved this gym when I had my membership. It is very nice. Has indoor pool outdoor pool it was just so nice. I decided to cancel my membership because an employee there I personally did not get along with anymore and knew personally so to avoid drama I decided to leave the gym I loved. It had nothing to do with their work performance but a personal issue. well when I canceled this membership the women I canceled with on the phone decided to go tell the person I canceled but lied and said i said that person was a terrible worker which is not at all what I said. This obviously created drama in my personal life as the person confronted me about it calling me names because I called their job but it had nothing to do with their job performance all I wanted was no drama. Just beware the employees share information on clients and gossip about them. Which is very unprofessional and unnecessary. They also note your account if your ever rude which I have never been but I know this from the employees gossiping to me personally about clients as I stated they talk about their clients. I called yesterday and talked to a MIchelle and she said she was a manager and told her that I never said anything about the said persons job performance but that I canceled because of a personal issue with said person and they should try not gossiping about their clients. All in all great gym terrible people. I am probably now black listed to a gym for no reason I did personally but because of employee drama and not being professional. again this is what I said when I canceled I have a personal issue with an employee and do not feel comfortable going to this gym while they are employed it has nothing to do with their work performance but a personal issue and dont want any drama.
The staff is extremely helpful and courteous. The free weight area is amazing and the selection of cardio equipment is immense. Combine that with the sauna, swimming pools and rock wall, youll never get board training at this gym.Definitely worth the money if youre looking for a gym that has it all under one roof.
I have been going to Dublin Lifetime Fitness since 2008, and I have never been disappointed. I am not sure about other Lifetime Fitness around the States, but this Lifetime does not give a f@#k about Covid protocol. They do not enforce any of the Covid policy. As soon as you go up to the second floor, nobody has their mask on. People in the gym pretend like there is no pandemic going on. Also, the gym closes at 10PM on weekdays and 9PM on weekends. The monthly fee is the same, but the gym hours are 56 hours less.
Im really surprised at how many negative reviews there are. Ive belonged to LT for many, many years. I go to all three locations in Columbus and have never had a negative experience at all. The staff are very kind and have been accommodating several times. On two different occasions I had to pause my membership due to health issues. There was absolutely no issue doing so, which I greatly appreciated. The teachers, classes are incredible. The childcare center at Dublin is top notch. The staff are absolutely amazing with the kids and have been such a great support to my toddler and I. I actually have days where I workout just so he can go to the childcare center and play. We also really love the outside pool at Dublin in the summer.
Im like 50/50 on this gym. Its always clean and the equipment is nice. However the front desk is almost never friendly to me. No hello. No goodbye, they just scan and say nothing. Ive only had maybe 3 front desk employees that were friendly. I had one get mad that the phone app wasnt working one morning to scan me in. He gave me attitude over it. Not my fault that the app crashes a lot. Other than the front desk, no complaints.
I have been a member since Oct 2014 and have loved my experience. The staff are knowledgeable and the group classes are fantastic and plentiful. I see the staff clean the machines regularly but it is hard to keep all the machines clean when they are being used so frequently. There is supposed to be a gym etiquette where when you finish on a machine, you clean up your own sweat....sadly not all members adhere to this but then that happens in all gyms all the time. The membership may be a little more expensive than others but having visited others in my research for the best gym in the area, I am happy to pay a little more for a better gym experience which keeps me wanting to go back regularly to use my membership. I am a very satisfied member that uses the gym approximately 5 out of 7 days.
Still hasnt gone back to their original pre-COVID hours, yet membership costs have increased.Additionally, throughout the entire pandemic, they did not keep cleaning wipes adequately stocked, and were frequently out.Lastly, they have an ongoing problem with broken equipment that doesnt see maintenance frequently enough. Even the lighting in the parking lot was broken for over 6 months.
Great gym, I have never had any problems with the gym but most of the negative reviews have come from payment issues. My parents handle that so its never been a problem for me; we have a family membership which is $100+ a month but its much cheaper per person than normal. Anyways, I love the rock climbing, free weights are great (6 squat racks now!??), insane amount of cardio machines that I doubt would all be used at the same time, and lots of weight machines for people not comfortable with free weights. Outdoor and indoor pools are awesome, sauna and steam room are great so thats good. Plenty of stations to fill up water and its nice to have bathrooms upstairs, plus lots of towels to wipe yourself off. Some late nights there is nobody there and it is so nice to get a good lift in at 11 on a Friday night. Seems to be a pretty clean facility to me. Staff seems very nice to me, always a greeting at the front desk. Some problems I have: it would be nice to have less than four diamond spots since they are unlikely to be all taken. Maybe longer hours for rock climbing wall. Can be very busy sometimes but thats not that big of a deal, just dont go 10-noon on weekends and 4-7 on weekdays.
Lifetime has all of the popular machines and free weights you will ever need. The facility is large (I am a member of the Dublin, OH gym). I have been going for the last two weeks since they reopened after COVID-19. The first week the staff was cleaning constantly and there are many more sanitizing wipe stations and there are also spray bottles and paper towel stations if you so desire. All employees are wearing masks at all times. Members are not required to wear masks. Eyeballing it, I would say that about 1/3 are wearing masks. Every other machine has a large sticker on it reminding you to practice social distancing. Basically, if you want to use a machine that is adjacent to one in use, you should wait until they are done with that machine before you hop on your target machine. People seem to be trying to practice social distsncing and many are wiping down the machines before and after each use (but not everyone is being that considerate). Every other locker in the locker room is locked and has a sign to use an adjacent locker for social distancing. They also have signs at each locker bay stating that they want to limit the number of members in the bay to 4 at a time. Generally, the crowds have been sparse. The outdoor pool is open but they have fewer chairs and they are spread out much farther than before tje pandemic. There are not many people in the pool or pool area either and the water slide is closed. As previously stated, the first week I used the gym, the staff was cleaning constantly. Today, I didnt see as much cleaning on the weight floor so I hope they pick that back up a bit. Their new protocol has them doing a deep cleaning of all machines 2x per day so maybe my previous visits were during those cleanings and I missed the action today. Well see. The staff is very friendly. My only other gripe is the monthly dues. While you get a lot of amenities at LTF, the cost is a premium. Hooe this helps!
Been there for going on 2 years. I love it and find the staff extremely friendly. I have never seen one staff member not smiling or pleasant. Even the staff reloading towels are friendly. I have not found it to be dirty except where you expect.....wet floors in the bathroom at the pool. Not many ways around that. Even then they keep them mopped. The classes are great and the Instructors treat you well no matter if you are fit or need to drop a few pounds. Kids have done swim lessons and the instructors and swim director are wonderful. The only reason I gave 4 stars is the parking. But parking is a problem anywhere that people gather.
I worked here for a few years in Aquatics. There was a diverse group of members which made for an interesting experience both on and off the job. The gym is also very nice. I should mention though that there were some issues with corporate that just restricted the gym from reaching its full potential. Dont worry about that though. 10/10 would recommend to a friend.
Ive belonged to Lifetime for the past 8 years and you will not find a more top-notch gym in Central Ohio. The facility has enough equipment so you dont have to wait for a weight or machine, there is an indoor and an outdoor pool, saunas, jacuzzis, a rock wall, basketball court, and plenty more. There are always classes for aerobics, yoga, etc... The staff is friendly, the gym is clean, and the spa and cafe have great products and services.
I was a member 10 years ago at this gym. Since that time, Ive never found another gym like it. Lifetime of Dublin is a one stop shop, with all the bells and whistles. From the moment you enter, youre encouraged with visual motivations to work hard at accomplishing your fitness goals. Im glad to say Im a member again.
David Scott harassed me and my family and was very rude. We left the gym because of him and he sent us a good bye email. He bullied us and yet he is still employed. Very disappointing to see and to have happens to us. David Scott is rude, disrespectful, aggressive, and simply a bully.
Someone reffered me lifetime because i was interested in the pool so i went to get a membership. I was welcomed by Dejan and he was so good and convincing that i ended up signing up for 60 days challenge and GTX classes.Since November 2019 i go every single day that God makes, and used to go twice a day before the shutdown. Thanks to Dejan and the person who referred me, lifetime Dublin is literally my second home. I study there, Work out there and relax there as well.Zach, Josh, Michelle are amazing receptionists, your feel welcomed at the door. They smile to you, they are nice and try to get to know you every day, so by time you feel youre not a stranger to the place anymore.Mark, Fred, Domini, Brenna are very hard working team members, I really enjoy talking to them.I really hope they are compensated and recognized for their effort to maintain this family atmosphere at the gym.
I joined the gym in early 2015. Since then I have attempted to get every single one of my friends to use this location and company as their gym of choice. I am blown away by the quality of every aspect of the gym. The staff is sublime, the equipment is top of the line and is regularly updated, and my experience has been worth every penny. When I go on vacation or when looking for a new apartment, some of my first actions are finding the nearest LifeTime Fitness to ensure I can maintain my routine while guaranteeing the quality I know and love.
I come to Columbus regularly for Business and try to stop in to the Dublin Lifetime as much as I can. Traveling around the nation I have seen all kinds of clubs and I’ll tell you this is one of the best! I’m my experience the Employees are the best part. I came in and met a very nice gentleman at the front desk and then went up stairs were the Trainers were absolutely incredible. I asked for some advice and one of them took me out to the free weights and walked me through some exercises spending about 40min with me. What blew me away was they never asked for my money!! Just gave me help and time then wished me luck!More places need to adopt this type of member care! Wish I lived in Columbus! Wish I could give more than 5 stars!
Having been a member of many clubs across the USA, this, lifetime fitness is at the very top in many categories. The value and quality childcare and free classes is what sets Lifetime fitness, in Dublin, apart from the rest. The staff is very receptive and upfront with services. Spa personal are amazing especially for massage therapy. Equipment is new and maintained well. I am going to be a member for years to come.
The place is always extremely dirty. The whole 2nd floor smells like old body odor and pee. The restrooms are dirty and always smell. I would have lower standards if it wasnt so expensive. Id spend 35 bucks a month and feel like it was fair. Unfortunately there arent many gyms with as much equipment. So either deal with their BS or go to the Y.UPDATEThey have started to update all of their equipment...so kudos for that. If they could just keep the place cleaner I would be happy at this price point. Im sick of lifting in other peoples hair and sweat droplets. Also...I dont think they ever clean inside the lockers. Please clean more! I have been to other lifetimes that are more well kept.
I like this place but there is only one annoying thing at the pool area. My younger son is five years old and he always plays in the shallow area for kids in the pool. I usually sit on the pool deck to watch my son. But there is a gaurd at the pool always talks to me in an aggressive way telling me to go inside the water with my son. Mostly we go to the pool in the weekends and everytime he disturbs me. I asked the other gaurds about this gaurds name, his name is Scott. So disappointed.
You’d think for the amount each member pays, they would fix the shower heads in the family bathrooms. They have been busted for over 2 years. Not just one or two, all of them. They also allow their team members to walk through the family locker room to use the restroom, which I REALLY don’t like. There are kids changing in there most of the time. The family locker room entrance is also right when you walk in, which is convenient for families, but the people in lobby can see directly in when the door is open. It’s just a bad design, not made by people who have kids.
This place has gone downhill. After being a member for 3 years, I am looking for a new gym.WARNING: If you want to work out during peak hours, forget it. The gym has scheduled group classes that take over most of the free weight area from 5am - 7am and during peak evening hours. This leaves almost no equipment to work out individually. The trainers leading the group fitness sessions are extremely rude and will not let you access most of the free weight equipment. Getting into the gym and not being able to work out defeats the entire purpose of going to gym.In addition to no free equipment, the place is becoming increasingly run down, dirty, and dangerous. When you pay almost $200 per month (family), you would expect to be able to WORKOUT at a fitness facility. Thats not the case at Lifetime Fitness Dublin.
Lifetime Fitness Dublin is a disaster in disguise! The elaborate facility might trick you to believing that this gym is all that in a hand basket, dont be fooled by the entry level rates and deals, the cost is simply not worth it.PS. Trying to cancel your membership is absolutely horrid even though I have notified the gym of my desire to cease services. They will harass you via email, call you and send mail until your ears bleed. Find a locally owned gym who get to know you with better rates. Greedy corporate gyms like the Dublin facility are nightmares waiting to happen.
I Have been a member at Lifetime for about 6 years now. Unfortunately the Dublin Lifetime has shown a great decline in cleanliness and maintenance of the equipment. The restrooms near the pool always stinks of urine because the rarely if ever clean them. I have also experienced the same in the showers I know they are lucky to be cleaned once a week if that. The equipment of the floor needs attention and when I ask them to take a look they just say that they will send an Email. Then three or four weeks later the equipment is still not repaired. They have had a large change in management and no one appears to making sure that quality control is still being adhered to. Its a shame because it is a nice gym that is going down hill for no other reason than lack of proper management. The Salon and Café are actually excellent. Its just a shame that the gym is pulling the whole facility down.
Super clean, love that. Just wish some guests werent weird there. If anyone goes at night watch out for the guy in a bandana, he fr sat down in a chair and watched me do my workout for a good 10 minutes, constantly staring at others. The staff have always been super nice and even will suggest things that i didnt even know i had questions on till they brought it up, awesome! Highly suggest coming here, but during the day.
This gym has evolved from one of the best in central Ohio to an overpriced disappointment. Equipment is faulty, instead of replacing it they simply take it away when its completely broken or place an indefinite out of order sign. The locker room is falling apart and the sauna is cold. Even their life cafe is becoming bad. Time to get your act in order, lots of bad reviews here.
Two things that make up my experience at Lifetime Fitness. The facility itself and the customer service. The club alone is very nice and you will find everything you need to work out and get/stay in shape (and you can find the same things elsewhere) its the customer service that make me rate this a one star. From bad attitudes to nickel and dimeing you for everything (they charged $10 to put my membership on hold and that was the last straw for me. I just went ahead and canceled after they wouldnt waive the fee) There are other places for much less money with just as nice equipment.
The staff up front and the swim staff are always super helpful and courteous, which is why I’m giving two stars, however the children’s center is a different story. Today, on what I expected would be a busy Saturday, I walked in and all of the toys were put away. All of the kids, except for the baby, were on tablets. I have two boys, 3 and 5 who have a lot of energy. My older son was put into time out within 5 minutes of arriving, because he was picking on his brother. I doubt he would have resorted to this if there was something to do! The climbing wall wasn’t open, the tubes weren’t open, and there were literally NO TOYS out.A year ago a friend of mine was able to bring my kids with her to the facility (she had a pass, while I didn’t at the time). I was out of town on business and she planned to take them there for a day. We simply signed a waiver. Today I set up a friend of the boys come to play with them while I’m working out, her Dad came in to sign the waiver, but they mentioned there was no such thing. I explained everything to the children’s center staff, however they said there’s never been such waiver. The tall red head who is usually in the children’s center mentioned I could talk to her manager, and she stepped out of the center to call her. I was up front with a friend of mine when she approached the desk and she rudely mentioned they definitely cannot make any exceptions, even though I was simply basing my expectations on past experience. She said that whoever allowed that to happen, shouldn’t have, however that’s not my problem! I received no apology, no compassion, simply denial. Needless to say, we ended up leaving and the kids were able to have a good time at our house, however this whole debacle was ridiculous and I will make a point not to go when she is there. From what I have seen, the gentlemen that work in the children’s center are always kind and really make an effort to relate to the kids.
Dont do it! Unethical business practices. I should have left after they charged my friend for a group class for which she didnt sign up and only returned her money after she threatened legal action. There was even another member who only had her card charged every few months (and renew the services every few months) for a specialty service because they tried to swindle her. I was a member of one of their group classes, and was told if I had to miss an extended period of time (like a month) just notify the group coach and they wouldnt charge my account. They charged my account anyway and I had to speak with a manager to get it resolved. I had to leave for a month a second time, this time they charged me a hold fee for the class. I was never told there would be a hold fee. And I wasnt charged a hold fee the first first around. There are other instances as well when I was told one thing about fees from one person and another thing after they charged my card. Let me not even get into the drama Ive been having with requests to cancel my membership! Dont use this facility. Find one that will honor its word and respect its customers. This one is trash. A lifetime of dishonest, garbage employees.
You get 0 ⭐️ From me.....too expensive $72 for what they must be out of their mind if they think I will pay $72 dollar a month for a membership. I rather go to Premier gym at sawmill way better and better customer service. You have a lot of bad reviews why do you think I’ll give you $72 a month.
Im tired of the fact that it seems like only angry people have time to write reviews. Lets band together satisfied costumers because if you read the other reviews on this Lifetime you would think it was the 7th circle of hell. This could not be further from the truth! Ill break my review into 3 Parts. 1st Cleanliness and locker rooms seems to be everyones major complaint. I myself am a grown adult who has cleaned public bathrooms in the past. Its people who should be ashamed of themselves not the gym. I will often brush past a staff member who is either changing out trash or wiping counters down or at least making an effort to clean up. I have never found the bathrooms or locker rooms to be in the condition you read in the other reviews. Just dont a damn sandwich in there okay, its a bathroom!2nd as far as the staff being rude, seriously?...I have yet to Enter the gym without being greeted, and every time you leave they are wishing you either a good day or a goodnight. Im serious you cant sneak out of that place without someone wishing you well on your way out. Even the towel guys greet you and I often see them having touch and go conversation with some of the other gym goers. Every Manager my wife and I have interacted with has remembered us and hasnt been pushy about anything. We have only had one negative experience with the Studio Director but we honestly felt she was having a bad day and we dont blame the ENTIRE gym for her attitude that one time.Third, as far as cost My wife and I pay around $130 a month to have a membership at lifetime. Our needs are special and Lifetime fulfills them. We needed a place where we could workout and practice our dancing at the same time. We use the facility around 5 to 6 times a week. We have also taken some of the yoga classes that are included with the price of the membership. So is it worth it to us to Pay around $130 a month? Yes because we actually use our membership quite a bit.Now for someone else who is a casual gym goer and doesnt take advantage of classes and doesnt want the Spa and Pool and Rock wall and ya-da yada yada. Then it might not be the facility for you. Gauge your level of commitment and then shop accordingly for your gym membership. All in all I will give this Lifetime Fitness Location a 5 star rating! Of course there is always room for improvement and No I am not getting a free T-Shirt out of this...*hint hint lifetime* but I absolutely love training here!
Let me get this straight, it went from being 24 hours to only being open from 4am to 12 and the price went up. Then it went from being open from 5am to 10pm and sunday having even less hours. Is it going to be every other day next year? Every blue moon? The chance of a nigerian prince actually giving you millions be the signal to open the gym? What about getting struck by lightning and winning the mega millions on the same day? Well no. All those things are more likely than this gym keeping a consistent schedule and not price gorging...
If youre serious about living a healthy life style this facility has everything you need to get there. It is not cheap membership but you often get what you pay for and I prefer quality. The staff have been very friendly with me and the environment gets me motivated. Only complaint would be restrooms but after all it is a gym and a large high capacity one at that, spilled milk.
Sure, it has some pretty good amenities. But at what cost? Nearly $130 a month for training staff that take 2, 3, and sometimes 4 machines/areas at a time; training staff that often do not clear weights when done; dirty floors and restrooms; an indoor lap pool with water so cloudy/dirty I can barely see through it while swimming; lifeguards that look like they are more interested in looking good or sunning themselves than keeping kids from playing in the outdoor lane area/alerting to kids who are roughhousing and throwing things in the indoor pool near parent with very young children. I know the staff cant prevent people in general from being jerks...but at least the staff should be proactive. SMH wondering why I still go here...
I joined a week ago when they were having their extended black Friday signup special. I started online and filled out their price quote request page. Within 10 minutes I was emailed by a regional sales person who was friendly and helpful. They asked for some details about what kind of membership I was looking for and gave me their rates and invited me to stop by the gym for a tour. Which side note, the cost is a bit high compared to other gyms so be warned that you’ll probably have a case of sticker shock but considering they don’t do contracts and the quality of facilities you get what you pay for.I decided to go forward and said I would stop by after work the next night. The sales person emailed me back and asked what time so they could have my tour scheduled. When I walked in I told the front desk I was there for a tour they called over to the sales people and I met one of them. We stopped in his office and talked a while about my fitness history and what my plans were. He then gave me a great tour of all the facilities and talk about the services and features they offer. I was sold and signed up.I’ve been working out early mornings and there is always a ton of free equipment and the faculties are nice and clean. Here are two tips:Call/email to schedule a tour if you’re new. You’ll get much better service and the tour will be more relaxed.Don’t work out right after work. The place is pretty packed from 5:00 to 7:00 weeknights. Early mornings or later in the evening the facility is much less busy.
I have been a member here for 12 years and I mostly enjoy it however today the new aquatics manager, Kim was extremely rude and unpleasant to me. I asked for one a pair of googles for my son to use because we forgot ours and any other time the past employees were nice about it but you would have thought I had asked for the world. Then she walks over and tells my daughter and her friend they weren’t old enough to be in the hot tub without even asking them how old they were, they were definitely old enough to be in there since the age limit is 12. The look on her face and the rude tone of voice was completely uncalled for. I even asked another aquatics team member if she always acts like that and she said yes, she is always that rude. Bad customer service is never ok and is a sure way to ruin any good company, eventually! She really needs to be retrained or she needs to go!
I have been a member since 2011 and this place is more than a regular gym! Great staff, MONTH TO MONTH memberships, no contracts, clean place and enjoyable atmosphere, and has everything that you need. the only reason i am giving 4 stars is because cafeteria is little bit pricey other than that you cant comapre this gym with any other gyms in columbus.
Everything is ok well with Covid now sauna and steam rooms and rock wall closed. And hours of operations are controlled they open late and close early not like before. The main reason for 4 stars is for the price should be able to bring a guest whenever we want and not be limited to only same guest 1 time per month
Ive been a member here gor a little over a year and have had nothing but a positive experience. Those complaining about a gym being busy are pure complainers and nothing more. You wont always get the parking spot close to the door. Boo-hoo. Its a gym...dont be afraid to walk a little. The child care is located in the rear of the facility. Sounds secure to me. Classes are sometimes full...because they have good instructors and a lot of regulars. The price is fair for membership. Those complaining about price just dont appreciate something called quality. To cancel your membership you have to physically visit the facility and let them know with a 30 day notice. Sounds reasonable if you ask me. Ive learned there are a lot of adult cry babies in this area and some of them have visited this gym. And then there are those that appreciate the hard work put in to running a quality facility. I am one of those people. Ive been at good gyms and bad gyms. This is a good one. You get what you pay for...and if you dont pay for it you dont get to use it.
I became a member in late June of this year (2014) and I can honestly say the facility is clean, almost everyone you interact with is smiling and fun (except for one lady at the activities counter) and the classes are top notch. My 8 year old is in their summer camp and is enrolling in swim classes shortly. We love it here. Highly recommend it.
Based on the rudeness experienced on the phone - I wouldnt even bother making my way in. Sad really. My home Lifetime is within Illinois and I was seeking to drop in to explore upping my membership to use the Dublin facility while on extended stay on OH for business. I was willing to pay a drop in fee to do this as wanted to actually test out facilities. I travel often and do this with gyms all the time. It should be an easy ask. Someone (Austin I believe was the name) transferred me the first time without waiting for me to finish my request, hung up on me twice when I called back, and then seemingly refused to pick the phone up after that. I kept being transferred back to the Activities desk where no one would pick up. When people show you who they are believe it. So I was shown my business inquiry didnt matter, so Ill keep it moving elsewhere. I realize losing one opportunity isnt going to sink their ship.
When thinking of joining a gym, I didnt hesitate to check out Lifetime in Dublin. When I walked in the door I was immediately greeted by Justin Baltzer, right away I could tell this was the fit for me. Justin walked me around the ENTIRE place. Including all ammenties, locker rooms, basketball courts and the entire fitness area all while giving me all the information relating to the areas. After this tour I knew where everything was and how to access all the amenities. It really felt like I have been going there for years on day one! Thank you so much Justin for setting up for success in reaching my health goals. I would join the gym 10 times over again and pick Justin as my guide each time. Thanks Justin!
HORRIBLE BUSINESS PRACTICES!!!! Our family joined Lifetime fitness in Dublin in April 2016. We used the club often over the summer and my two daughters did weekly swim lessons. Upon the end of the summer (August 2016) I emailed the head of aquatics to officially cancel our swim lessons (as per required policy) because the girls would be back in school and their lessons were in the middle of the day. I was charged for 4 more months of swim lessons to the tune of $1,200. I had tried to call several times, left messages with several different people over those 4 months. Sometimes there would be a promise of an immediate call back but nothing. Finally in December of 2016 I went into the club and demanded to speak with someone. I spoke with a client services manager who still could not do anything about the aquatics charges because that had to go through the aquatics department and she was not available. At this time I cancelled my membership (or so I thought) and was promised a call from the aquatics manager. It took me calling 3 more times before I actually spoke to the aquatics manager. First she said the email was unclear (it literally stated the date of the last class they would be attending) but then admitted there had been a mistake and offered a credit to which I said we have cancelled our membership a credit for what. She finally agreed to refund the $1,200 charged.Fast forward to October 2017 and I notice that my credit card is being charged membership services to Lifetime to the tune of $160 a month for the last 4 months. I called to find out what is exactly going on and was told my account was not cancelled but put on hold for a 9 month period with automatic activation. This is nothing I would have agreed to especially considering the circumstances when I cancelled. In order to cancel a membership you must go into a Lifetime in person but they can reactivate your account without an in person meeting?????? I would love to know how much they have fleeced customers out of with these business practices. When I spoke to the Manager for the October 2017 charges I was told they have very high business practices and that I had received emails that the account would be reactivated. I had moved their emails to spam after the December 2016 incident and cancellation (or so I thought) of my account. They should not be able to reactivate someones account without written permission at the time of reactivation.
First things first, its fairly expensive to have a membership to this gym. They have tremendous amounts of amenities, but the costs are still fairly high. They do have lots of machines, free weights and cardio equipment. They even have a salon and a massage area, so its not only a traditional gym. The sales staff is very aggressive, trying to pressure you into a purchase, which is not for me.
Been there a few months now and not sure what all the unfriendly complaints are about. The front-desk always says hello and goodbye and greets you with a smile. Havent run into any issues payment-wise and the sales associates were very straight forward about their 30-day cancellation policy. Overall an excellent place to stay healthy and keep in shape.
Corrupt billing practices. After my wife, Florence, gave the required 30 day notice of stopping the membership (in their office with Gabby, in writing and on their computer with a digital signature as well) they continued to bill our credit card. We thought they would stop after it happened once. We notified them and they agreed to fix the error, but it continued the next month. Then the manager denied that we had ever given written notice of quitting and demanded that we do it again and that they would bill our credit card for the two months already past and an additional month after this for the 30 day notice. They are dishonest, corrupt thieves.Update December 2017: After numerous promises to quit billing is for the memberships that were stopped in July they are still billing my credit card. Amazing, isnt it? These are the most incompetent managers or just plain crooks. Since they have lied to us over and over with promises to quit charging our credit card Im leaning towards corrupt, dishonest thieves. Disgraceful.
Management and the so called personal trainers need training in common sense and courtesy. I have been going to this gym for 4 years and have probably passed some of the management and trainers hundreds of times. You would think they would make eye contact at some point and say see you next time have a good workout I see you a lot . Nope! They have egos and strut around like they are better than everyone else. Hell, the guy that signed me up never spoke to me after that, you would think he would at least say Hi when passing in the halls. Nope! Its like Im a ghost, and I have tried to speak to the employees many times but they wont look at you so it makes it hard. They need to hire people that know how to interact with people and make them feel welcome. It would really help retain memberships also. Its a weird vibe, no connection with the staff at all after 4 years. And its not like they dont have time to speak as they are passing. The friendliest people at Lifetime are the ones at the café, and they are just average.
We have been trying to cancel our membership since August. They still charge our credit card till now in October!! They were very RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL.Just a warning for those who need to stop membership, take a video while talking with them about termination. THEY PLAY DIRTY TRICKS ABOUT $$. SO CHEAP! Disgusting management.
I just joined and i have been to several workout classes. The classes are great but they ask me for money to donate to a charity each time I am in a class. I dont like to be solicited to when I am paying to go to a gym. I already give to charity and I dont know if this is a legitimate charity.
Decent gym. It has a lot of amenities.Cons: I share the one con you see in most reviews: It is often dirty. I switch between the Easton and this location and the Easton location is always cleaner, especially the mens lockeroom. Most often when I go to the mens bathroom, all three stalls will have unflushed toilets and pee on the seats (Seriously guys, why dont you flush? Why pee on the seat???)Another complain is that they spend a lot of time and money promoting various things that it would see, would interest very few people, such as gimmick MLM like 60 day programs etc. Then last, they have a bunch of televisions but there is no way to listen to any of them unless you have an FM radio, and who has an FM radio these days. It is 1990s technology. So if you do a lot of cardio, it probably is not the gym for you. You can find most gyms at a much lower $20-50 range per month that have either TVs built into their equipment or have a way to plug into the machines to listen to the TVs.Positives: You get a lot for what you pay. I see people complain about the price, but - a basketball gym, rocky climbing wall, two pools, slides, hot tubs, steam room, sauna, full locker room, for under $100, thats great value. The staff seem very friendly and helpful. I find the Easton staff to be a bit friendlier, especially the front desk and sales team. In Easton, the staff seems to proactively interact with members. In Dublin, the staff seems to keep to themselves and does not interact much with members. Two different styles. I generally dont wish to interact with anyone at the gym so it works fine for me. Though in all my interactions at both Dublin and Easton, the staff has been professional. The other pros are ones I cant personally vouch for but it seems they offer child care, some swim lessons, a decent variety of classes, a pretty good spin room and a few different groups you can join.Overall, decent gym and a great value.
My membership pricing and benefits were changed without my acknowledgement. I had to find out from my bank. I was never informed of any changes. David Scott was not helpful at resolving the issue and was very rude. When I first signed my contract I was informed of any changes would need to be made in person. This is not ethical.
So one day I brought my dad to the gym as a guest at 9:15 pm and we were not allowed to get in (although supposably we should have 2 guests permits every month) because I was supposed to bring him in before 9 by an associate called Chelsea, that is really rude. Was not expecting that from her. I had to drive him back home and come again to workout. Extremely disappointed in them.
When I joined, I was told that the cancellation required 1 month notice. I cancelled the membership by mid of April and I was confirmed by the member services that the membership will be cancelled by May 15th. I trusted that and I was really shocked to see my card was charged for June. When I called the member services, they see the membership is active and they are asking for a new cancellation and a notice. They are just accusing me that if the request is made, then the membership should be cancelled by May 15. They are not ready to even investigate whether the request have been made or not. It was a bad experience speaking to the member service guy. When I joined, they were very sweet, now when I want to move, the attitude is rude. Please stay away
The gym is dirty and expensive. They frequently rent out the entire lap pool for hours leaving none to their regular members. The weight room is a mess. Weights are not reracked and while this isnt the gyms fault for narcissistic me first members they should police the area more regularly. The members drop weights which is unsafe and the gym seems not to care.Update 10 2017. Still dont care about keeping the place clean. Now they have taken more than half the racks for class. If you dont pay for extra classes dont expect an uniterrupted workout.Jan 2018 Update - Weights are picked up at 4 am. Liftime announced that no more news on gym tvs. LIE. 4 of 5 are news. Sorry 4 of five are opinion based entertainment. Also 2 of 3 wipe towels are empty so you cant wipe anything down at 4AM. Lap pool is taken by class at 530 so you wont be swimming.
This place is great. Very upfront with everything, simple cancel policy with a 30 day written notice. I wont be canceling though because they have everything I need here. Amazing classes and tons of equipment even with it being January. Front desk staff is friendly and the sales team doesnt make you feel like youre buying a house.
Great facility with many options for exercise. Amenities include sauna room, steam room, hot tup spa and 5 lane swimming pool. Also available are full court basketball, 2 racquetball courts and a large multi use room. There is even child-care for parents! I really enjoy being here!☺
Always crowded no matter what time of day you go. Not enough machines to do circuits. Everyone is very stuck up and judgmental. The staff is very pushy about you signing up for products and services you’ve made clear you don’t want. Did a 7 day trial and would never go again nor recommend to anyone.
I decided to give this gym a 2 star rating although I contemplated 1 star. We chose LifeTime Fitness because it had a lot of amenities AND the main reason why is because they had childcare. We dont have family here in Ohio and we never get a break to do things without our 3 children (2, 3, and 8). We felt working out and having 2 hours to ourselves to do healthy fun would be a HUGE break for us as we could go whenever we wanted and use any of their amenities and gym for 2 hours KID FREE! We fell in love with the gym, lots of things to do and get involved in, without the sales pitch. However, a month into using the gym our kids were sick TWICE which was completely out of their norm since they take vitamins and immune boosting supplements. I always had to stay home with the sick kids while hubby went to the gym or he just wouldnt go either--completely overrules why we got it. The second month, our kids got sick again and couldnt shake it and my youngest who was 1 at the time had to be hospitalized sporting dual IVs and I NEVER have had to take my kids to the ER because Im a nurse and I can usually always get them up to par. ER is for emergency not for doctor visits. I couldnt get his fever to go down from 105 degrees for 4 days with around the clock meds. I was exhausted and knew I was up against something bad. His lab work came back with two extremely nasty viruses...all from LifeTime. To double this, that visit cost us thousands of dollars. We stopped using the membership and the kids got better after 3 MONTHS. We requested a meeting with the Childcare director regarding sanitation and the director of Lifetime happened to be there that day and heard of this situation and he sat in on the meeting. I offered some options to improving sanitation and they were very agreeable and said they would increase sanitation and go about it differently (which included separating toys into multiple bins and alternate them out every 2 hours and begin sanitation on the toys that were played with so that they had around the clock systemized sanitation). They said they would begin it that weekend. We went in the following Monday and I went and played with the kids for a little bit in the childcare to only see that they had done absolutely no systemized sanitation and gobs of toys everywhere. I was disappointed as we hadnt been able to use or membership for over 3 months. They offered to reimburse and we declined because all we wanted was better sanitation. He insisted he would reimburse us for 3 months, we never got that reimbursement...however, we werent worried about the money as much as we were about the sanitation. After returning to LifeTime, our kids were sick yet again following their improvement. I stopped going altogether, until May or June we went....my youngest had a fever for a week spiking to 105 with around the clock medicine and I never went back except today we went swimming for the last time so we could cancel our membership. I intended to write a lengthy review to let people know that LifeTime is EXPENSIVE and we pay for what we thought would be great amenities PLUS sanitation/cleanliness. I give 0 stars for sanitation, I give 0 stars for cleanliness as there is mold and mildew everywhere (which I expect this so not a huge concern of mine, I give 2 stars on the price for amenities and I give 5 stars for the director of LifeTime for friendliness and willingness to try even if he was blowing smoke up my rear, 5 stars for Garrett and 5 stars for Nick K., 0 stars for Austin who made trying to talk to a manager very difficult and was rude. 0 stars for Stephanie the childcare director for not taking the sanitation seriously and initially not willing to do sanitation differently. Overall, 2 stars. Probably should be 1 but Im lenient. Goodbye LifeTime, thank you for the opportunity to be a member but certainly hope we find somewhere better.
Ive dedicated most of my life running multi million dollar health clubs. The service and animosity was unbelievable. If ever traveling out of state and wanting to visit I wouldnt recommend going to this location. The OM John Webber seems to have his own set of rules when the sales team is unavailable. Way too many stipulations and credentials you must meet just to get a one day FREE pass. Thank you so much for your unnecessary sternness and lack of customer service.
Biggest complaint is with the Aquatics Dept. While the lessons are great, the people running it arent!! They NEVER pick-up the phone and dont return calls or e-mails!! I had to make a trip in to try and talk to someone about changing swim lessons because no one would return emails/phone calls. I got nowhere. Was told that they would have someone contact me...almost 24 hours later...still nothing!! After this, I am definitely cancelling my membership. It shouldnt be this hard...really!!
I just wanted to share that the staff at the spa is absolutely amazing. My massage got scheduled a haircut somehow by accident and they all coordinated as a team to figure things out. Hannah has such a pleasant attitude and started looking in the schedule immedietley to find something that would work for me. Derek took the initiative to tell me to just wait 15 minutes to see if his next appointment would show up ( which they didnt) and if not I could take the next slot. Between that and his ability to relate was refreshing, some spas really have a way of making some people feel awkward. My favorite part of the whole dilemma was Jessica, since she wasnt going to be cutting my hair and I was waiting for the next time slot, she made a good point to just sit down and have a pleasent conversation for the period of time i had to wait. While they are all really good assets to your spa, keep your eye on her, her customer service skills are the reason I didnt get up and walk out.
I joined this club originally because it was so close. I firmly believe it is because of this club that I got into the best shape I have ever been in before my wedding years ago. I moved 30 minutes away from lifetime, joined a local gym and it just didnt cut it. I am now back at lifetime and believe its worth it 100%
Even though on the website they said that there was no signup fee when you joined, when I asked about it to the employee who signed me up, he told me that it had expired even though it didnt have an expiration on it when I looked again on the website. Also, once I tried to quit because I had to move due to my sister, who left for the military, they would not let me cancel by email or by phone. When I signed up they failed to mention that when you give your 30 day notice it had to be by a certified letter or that you had to be in that location. I could not go to the location as I was a few states away, and would not be returning for a few weeks. I emailed the same guy who signed me up, a few days before the end of the month, and he took until AFTER the next billing date to reply to my questions about canceling my membership. They make it overly expensive to sign up and impossible to leave. I would not recommend anyone to this gym.
For all familys with kids and without its great place to enjoy activities of all different types of sports. We are members for 3 years. If youre getting your membership ask for manager name Kolby he is very nice and kind person. Thats kind people who is really care. Thanks.
Attention recovering alcoholics: If you are thinking of getting fit in order to better deal with your recovery THIS IS NOT THE PLACE FOR YOU!!I was summarily dismissed by my personal trainer after having spent 4 months working with her when I informed her I was an alcoholic. The management declined to take an interest in this development, leaving me no choice but to quit my membership....and now I see that L.T. has (cowardly) responded to THIS rather than to me after I TWICE acknowledged that I would absolutely like SOMEone in their organization to contact me....
We have a membership and I cant believe how good it is my friends go to daycare their mom goes to the gym so I go to the gym then I go to the pool with brother sometimes its so fun and Im going their in a few days because I havent been their for a month or 2 now 😎😎 Im extremely excited I hope I see some friends but one of my friends is to young to go deep but Im so excited I hope I make some new friends wish me luck bye 😄😄😄😄😎
Life time don’t look at ur I’d or look at ur pictures that is u.. I was payin 75 dollars a month and they was letting someone use my membership To get in and I told them someone is using my membership..and the manger and he don’t care too ..I was not happy at all and this look great but bad Service .. never going back this gym again 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼‼️‼️‼️ And I ask them too cancel they still charge me $35 to cancel bc someone used my membership..bad Service ‼️‼️‼️😤
Dublin location- This place is an absolute joke. The state of affairs here would be sad if it werent so pathetic. I could go on a long rant, but that would just be echoing every other one-star review on here. Bottom line: not even close to worth the money you pay for the membership

2022-01-22My family joined lifetime dublin from few months. We joined there specifically to use the basketball court and the pool. They induce you till you join then you can never use the basketball court or the pool. Also, there are always hidden fees. Dont waste your money on this place. Dirty lockers, broken saunas, no towels, the basketball court full-time rented, and the pools are always rented for the swimming lessons. The service is terrible, between the unprofessional billing department, the rude staff at the pool, and the useless general manager. I have been increasingly dissatisfied with the staff at lifetime dublin. They treat their members as we are privileged to be at lifetime. They seem to forget that they have a job because of their members. Dont be duped most of their good reviews are from their employees or from a mutual benefit with some customers. You will notice how far they are honest when you watch them dealing with the bad reviews. After every bad review, they submit a flow of wonderful reviews every few hours every day to just bury down the bad review. What a professional strategy. Good Job.

2022-02-05Been a member since 2014 and the gym portion is constantly getting new equipment and updating the upstairs portion which is very nice and updated/modern. That being said the rest of the gym kinda going down hill. A lot of the lockers are part broken or lose from age or people breaking in. The sauna wood is gross from people wearing their shoes in. The steam room is dirty feeling and has rust constantly coming from the steam machine. One or both of the hot tubs is always shut down. They also constantly raise the rates every year. In 2019 my wife and I were paying $130 after tax and fees for our membership, just checked and for 2022 they raised it to $164 after taxes and fees. So higher rates for worse quality…?

2022-06-24I started going to this gym about 3 months ago. I like the gym but its a bit too messy. I go to the gym at about 0400 in the morning and the weight part is already messyIt just opened and they dont clean it the night b4 which is crazy. Also, the dumbells only goes up to 110lbs which is entirely too light. But other than that I enjoy the gym. The staff is friendly and its in a great location with 3 pools for the summer heat.

2022-07-10I don’t think a lot of people know this now. But Lifetime Dublin is charging another $75 to access the outdoor pool during the summer on top of the ridiculous about youre already paying. I live in New Albany and have always upgraded to Lifetime Dublin so I am come and enjoy the outdoor pool. I didnt receive any message prior to this change and today I came in I was told Icant access the outdoor pool unless even though I pay $117 a month for this location. This is absolutely ridiculous and wrong and I think Im going take my gym membership elsewhere because I am so unhappy with lifetime Dublin. IT IS NOT WORTH IT!!!

2022-02-03I’ve been going to this gym for years. never had a problem. but recently i’ve been harassed multiple times by a worker for bringing a gym bag. i understand the rule. but he doesn’t tell anyone else in the gym to take theirs down. only me and my friend. yesterday he was yelling at me threatening to freeze my account and even tried contacting the police. after i asked for a manager he said no. i have supplements belts and medicine i need to carry in my bag. if this happens again i’m leaving this gym.

2022-03-04I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the service that I have received from Lifetime Club Dublin. My wife and I are extremely disappointed as we have been a customer of your club for 3 years and I strongly believe I deserve better treatment.A couple months ago, I’ve been having troubles getting into to the club with my daughter. Usually on nights I have met two ladies asking about her membership. She’s 3 years old. (I’m wondering why we having troubles just with them, other staff and managers always so friendly and kind with us)As a father I’m sooo sad to see my daughter be rejected in this place with this ladies. So I canceled my membership and I’m look forward to find a better place that I can have respect and kindness with my family.

2022-06-14Joined in the late spring time mostly for the basketball and the indoor lap pool as I love to play basketball and my brother swims. Do not make our mistake, if you want a gym membership for basketball courts or an indoor pool DO NOT COME HERE.The indoor pool has been closed for about half the time I’ve been a member (2ish months) and the basketball courts are closed every week day for almost every hour of daylight (see picture below for the schedule they post on the court door) They try to sell infinite amount of classes that promise outlandish results to get you fit or toned which sound oddly similar to ponsi or MLM schemes and overall the management is very rude when you ask for help or insight about anything in the place. I could point out half a dozen things on their website that are advertised that they don’t fulfill making me think this location is just one massive, poorly run money grab. If you want a place to lift, the lifting/cardio machines and areas are nice but if you want a GYM membership with all the amenities and facilities that you expect to come with it, then I strongly do not recommend lifetime. :)

2022-02-21One of the main reason why I picked this place is the swimming pool/lap. But lately it has been always filled with swim classes, no laps open for adult lap swimmers. They said they always leave 2 lanes open for adult lap swim but usually those are occupied also. And the lap pool that has the 2 lanes open are way too cold. They can’t accolade to change the temps even for a lil. It’s ridiculous. And on top of that they raise the membership price every year.

2022-06-23Dirty, restrooms ran out of TP, barbells dont hold much weight, members throw plate weights around. Downstairs weight area has chalk all over it. Platforms are always taken, and cant use downstairs weight area either because there are always classes. Dont waste your time at this gym.

2022-03-09A great place to spend time, and of course to do yourself in terms of sports! Always a huge number of simulators, everything is there, for any of your interests, but there is also a minus, it is cleaning. I think this place is poorly cleaned, and in the family locker room, the duck is not cleaned at all. Look at the ventilation that is not removed during the year, half of the booths dont have curtains because its a simple thing. Despite all this, the place is a buzz!!! I advise!!! but still I would hire a service to clean this place as a whole!
