Unprofessional, uncaring and simply did not listen or care to help. Assumed right away pt was there seeking a drug fix. Urine and blood tests were negative of any drugs and still left untreated. Pain 10 out of 10 and only offered Tylenol. Tried to repeat labs that were drawn that morning in house and was offended when asked to check records before drawing again. Pain location was stated numerous times to be hands, arms, shoulders and neck. Pain to the point of limbs contracting and unable to use type of pain. Previous injury was mentioned by staff after reviewing records that had nothing to do with presenting issue. Was told to deal with the pain and given Prednisone. Discharge Dx was not what was being treated whatsoever or what was presented to them.We asked numerous times what we can do to help ease the pain ...their answer was to deal with it. Left with no answers or help as what to do. I feel so sorry for anyone who is treated this way. Without a supportive family to help, not sure what measures a person would do to stop such pain. Initial nursing staff was not professional and didnt even care that pt blood pressure was running 174/110. Her response was the cuff must be too tight...which was untrue, it fit as it should have. The high blood pressure did not stop and went un noticed without us mentioning it. If staff cannot use common sense and listen to each patient with intentions to help them...they should leave the medical field. I understand there are folks who do seek drugs and that is unfortunate. However, when someone presents with viable pain and a clean toxicology...treat them as if they were your family member. No one in the right mind would leave their loved one with so much pain without trying to ease it in some fashion. I will not be, Returning...ever and will tell of our bad experience to warn others. So very.very sad. I would not wish this experience onto anyone and have filed a formal complaint and requested an investigation. Those who have no compassion and is numb to listening to true cries for help...please leave the medical field. You are not helping
Very bad experience. Daughter was taken their by ambulance, admitted over night, next day told surgery in am, by 2:30 afternoon Doctor still not there. Left, daughter went back same day in evening, they admitted her only this time made her strip naked, take bra off, panties. Daughter called me crying. I called them, they said normal procedure not sure why they didnt do that before but normal procedure for every one. I asked for Director of nursing name, the RN didnt know their name.
My mother went to this hospital because she had covid and couldnt breathe. They did an x-ray, bloodwork, and a CT scan. The doctor never returned to tell her about her results. They just discharged her saying she had mild covid. Found out today from her regular practioner that she had VIRAL PNEUMONIA FROM COVID and tjey NEVER TOLD HER. No breathing treatment, no steroid, nothing. Sent her home and told her she was fine. ONLY GO HERE IF YOURE READY TO DIE BECAUSE THEY ARE HORRIBLE!!!
It saddens me to write this review. The county Urgent Cares were rebranded to LMH when they were bought out. The Urgent Care charges your insurance for emergency room care. This has happened to me twice. I used to visit the Urgent Care in Pataskaka, but no more. Treating nurse with an attitude problem and self esteem issues thinking its okay to talk down to patients like its my first go round with sinus infections, (chronic sinus issues for 40 years.) After all, LMH did the sinus operation for me, but getting some quarterly antibiotics is troublesome with mentally wrecked medical staff. I think I would get better service at the Somalian Urgent Cares in Columbus before I never, ever go back to LMH. Your rolling the dice when you go to LMH..
I went to the ER. Got checked in by 6:40 and nobody was in the waiting room i went into triage came back out to the waiting room another person had came to be seen. At this point i had already been there for a half hour they took back two people who had got there after i did. I then asked how long it would take to get seen they couldnt tell me. I left. One of the worst hospitals in ohio.
Been there twice with my wife. I think unless you are in immediate danger of imminent death you should pass. The Dr literally asked my wife What mskes you think you have Multiple Sclerosis?Gee doc maybe the last 10+ years with 1 MRI per year, 3 different neurologists, the fact shes on disease modifying drugs we listed when we did paperwork??
I was there with my daughter & her partner as she delivered their first baby 😍 They had to induce her a couple weeks early as she was high risk & she was there for several days before she gave birth. The nurses were great (as most are 😉) all very friendly and accommodating! Her doctor was great & seemed to know exactly what needed to be done to move her delivery along. The next day they got treated to a fabulous steak & lobster dinner before she was released with her precious, bundle of joy, my grandson 💖
Disgusting hospital. My pregnant fiance has been unable to retain any food for over a month and was told to go to the ER by her gyno and womens health professionals. The doctor that was supposed to treat her just told her he doesnt care if she cant eat for her whole pregnancy, and that we could all stand to lose a few pounds. This is absolutely disgusting behavior, I understand with covid things are ran a little tight, but no practice should exist with doctors like this.
Visiting the ER have literally sat here for a hour and a half waiting to be released. No call button no one checking on me. I am hooked up to a IV. I am by myself because of covid cannot get anyones attention not only have to go the bathroom but would like to go home. Really poor patient care here. Really frustrating
My grandmother is currently here with covid.. they have been treating her as if her life doesnt matter. The nurses are obviously scared to go in a single covid room and are neglecting her care. I work at a hospital myself and go in covid rooms multiple times a day, every single day of the week. You gown up, put an N95 on and call it a day... You DONT neglect a patient just because they are covid positive. EVERY patient deserves adequate healthcare and its obvious you wont receive that here. The doctor and nurses couldnt answer most of my uncles questions about his mother because they had no idea what was going on!! How do you not know whats going on with your patient at all times? Also, she has chronic lung disease and they didnt even look in her file to see that she needs an inhaler at all times!! Simply neglect by the Licking Memorial Hospital and we will be filing a complaint.
Came for blood work and an X-ray. They did X-ray and told me to wait in waiting room Well I was waiting with one other person then all these all people came in. They kept taking everyone but me!!!!! I went to registration and they said they would put me on the list! At that point they should have called the lab and told them to take me next since I had been waiting so long but no that would make too much sense. I had to wait for three more people!! Ridiculous!!! I had to wait an hour when to begin with I was second in line!! Does anyone know what they are doing at Licking Memorial?? No not all!!! Go to Columbus where they had competent people working!! I came early so I could get out of there fast an hour and a half latter I am still here!!!!!
Only go if you are extremely desperate. Went in in extreme pain after vomiting for six hours. To be brushed off and told they don’t know what to think. After 6 days of non stop pain I went back. Waited in the waiting room for two hours. They ignored the fact that I said the pain med was not working. Drug tested me for every drug known to man. Surprise surprise I am not on drugs. The doctor seemed arrogant. Saw him for maybe a few minutes. Nothing is explained to you unless you ask. I am still in intense pain and cannot live my life.
I am new to the area. I went into the ER with my son early in the morning. The wait time in a quarantine lobby room was unusual long for the ER and it was not busy. Took over 45 minutes to get a negative result and an hour to see a nurse practitioner to say it was viral and nothing they could do. We never left the lobby to be seen in a ER room. Took an another hour to be discharged. The nurse practitioner was in a bad mood. The nurse mocked me on the way out of the hospital after my son was discharged. I ignored her response. Being new to the area this was a very negative experience for Newark and Licking county.
Very slow smh it’s a shame most people like me have a kid and keep you in there til almost morning honestly!!!! I hate this hospital wish they could just build a new one and have new staffing who go in order no matter how bad the pain is. It shouldn’t take almost 9 hours to get out the hospital. I remember I seized up in the lobby and they just left me there unresponsive and never took it seriously I have 4 kinds of seizures and they took me as a joke. Wonder if my son went into a sickle cell attack if they would leave him hanging and not take it seriously it’s a sad world honestly the whole reason I make my trips to Columbus hospitals they do WAY better than here.
I have been to the ER twice in the past 6 months. The last visit was a nightmare. Very few patients in ER but no one was around when I needed them. Left a thermometer in my mouth for 1/2 hour. Had a severe reaction to a contrast CT. My eye swelled up inside and hurt. Nurse told dr and he ordered Benedryl without looking at my eye. Went home sicker than when I got there. My eye was bright yellow and painful. Had to see a specialist. I was there for 5 hours no sheet or blanket. They poked me 10 times before getting an IV started. Finally had someone from hematology to start an IV. Will never go there again.
This place is HOT GARBAGE. Do yourself a favor and make it to Columbus if you can! The Staff has most of their last names whited out, no one ever said who they were or what they do as they came in and out of my ER... THE STATE SHOULD REALLY LOOK AT PULLING THEIR CREDINTIALS!
Premium Care and Very nice rooms after admission. In the last month Ive been to 6 different hospitals (I travel). Just a few years ago I wouldnt never trusted them with my severe liver cirrhosis and related issues. They had a very bad reputation.Other than waiting on procedures and results. Theyve been very good with timing. Today marks my 4th day here. I came in miserable. After 3 days I felt ready to go.Just remember, Hospitals are very busy, Theres always someone who needs immediate attention as you ring ring ring the nurse button for a jell-o. Be patient and Treat the Staff how you want to be treated.God bless our Hospitals for great modern care.
Visited here several times because its the closest thing in an emergency but there adminstrative and nursing staff is slow and incompetent. They make you wait in ER for hours when they have plenty of empty ER rooms that they never use. The managers are the worst part cause they ignore complaints right and left. Ive even had nurses become very rude with me just because I wont wait for an hour to get medicine that the doctor has already approved. The amount of nurses too stupid to use masks in this hospital is way to many.
I wouldnt recommend this bandaid hospital to anyone who truly needs psychological help, they were all very rude and treated me like a junkie needing a fix, I have severe anxiety, ptsd, depression and bipolar disorder, if I could give -5 stars, I certainly would, shameful...
All hospitals and medical facilities have their issues and things they can improve upon.We have been going to LMH for years and I have never had any problems. The nurses and techs on the floors have always been great with myself and my family members.I do feel badly for the people that do but we have never been one of them. I have had and also family members have been to Columbus for some things and I truly do not like feeling like a number instead of a person. They are to big and to busy for me.
We’ve been sitting in the waiting room since 1pm and it’s now going on 6 pm. High fever and bleeding bowel is the condition we sought medical help for. I know everywhere is short staffed however the lobby check in personnel could at least have a pleasant attitude. Nothing but a grouchy disposition when asking questions. We’re just as exhausted sitting in a chair all day typing on our phones, as they are from sitting in a chair all day typing on a computer. Yet people that just come in the door get help within the hour while we have sit for 5 hours now waiting for help. Very badly managed!!
4 hours in the waiting room is apparently the average (256 mins to be precise). But you will probably go over that time regardless of injury. Some of the nurses are genuine diamonds in the rough compared to dismissive RNs and even more dismissive doctors. Come in here as a 20 something, Woman, or maybe even both and watch as a doctor disregards your concerns. One of my friends had a mom be told her lack of a regular period and a painful feeling in their gut was just menopause and they didnt look into it any more. That woman went to Mt. Carmel and they found she had ovarian cancer. That is the caliber of establishment we are dealing with. And you could say maybe its just some bad eggs, but the general attitude of the place is one of apathy and self assurance. My personal experience was with a Dr. Anders who decided that the reason I have been vomiting since 3pm (he saw me at 1am) was because of Marijuana, which I admitted to using before BUT had not done that day. He cited it as Cyclic Vomiting (repeatedly) when Im positive he meant Cannabanoid Hyperemesis Syndrome, so thats worth considering. When confronted with this he ceded that it could be a stomach infection or food poisoning, yet decided to send the nurse to me with a lecture of smoking pot instead of bothering to give me effective medicine for the pain I was in. Both Cyclic Vomiting and CHS are valid (albeit different) syndromes, and I have a friend with CHS, but the symptoms Dr.Anders used to diagnose it on sight (vomiting and diarrhea) are extremely common in many other conditions including but not limited to IBS, Endometriosis, Pancreatis, or even just a bad meal.So yeah, this place doesnt inspire confidence when I get a sheet that says I arrived with Vomiting and left at 4 am with the diagnosis of Vomiting (I arrived there at 7pm and they sent me home with a script that couldnt be filled for another 4 hours while I complained of intense pain the entire 9 hour stay)In conclusion, you are better off driving the extra 30 minutes to Mt. Carmel or even the extra 40 mins to Riverside. Those are far better hospitals with more capable staff and legitimately lower wait times. This place is hot garbage. This place is miserable. Hell, I was born at this hospital and I regret ever returning to make cognizant memories. I dont claim to know more than HealthCare professionals, but LMH barely holds up a facade of professionalism.
This hospital is a JOKE. do not come here if you can avoid it, make the drive to columbus. I went in to the ER COVERED from head to toe with rashes, literally every part of my body had an extreme amount of rashes, and the doctor barely even looked at it before saying it was a viral rash. well duh ?! of course it is. what VIRUS is causing this insane rash, I can barely even see. they quickly dismissed me even though I was pleading for help having been sick for two weeks now. don’t go here.
Was trying to get a job there. The HR team was completely unprofessional and took them months to get back with my application after constantly calling back and going to the office and ask how my application is being handled. Finally, they came out and said they havent done anything with it. My wife has gone to the hospital on several occasions and the medical staff and doctors are complete jokes and unprofessional. Disregarded everything she was concerned about it and made it seem like she was making it up. Dont recommend this hospital at all and most likely wouldnt trying to get a job here.
Went to ER for pain on my gland and no other pain in my body and they ended telling me I had a severy infection in my urinary track. Which didn’t make any sense and needed up antibiotics that made me have diarrhea for 2 months . I called like 4 days later after been in the ER about it and they told me if I wanted anyone to give me anything for it I had go through ER again.Speaking tonight with a friend she told me that she had her baby there and they almost killed her baby because midwife and others had no clue what they where doing and her baby was born purple they had to give him cpr because kid wife has her pushing for over 9 hours This is the worse place to end up . I am actually considering selling our house and move elsewhere because of this reason .
Do NOT go to this hospital, they will disrespect you and disregard any health issues you might be concerned with, even with a doctor referral. My family doctor referred me as a woman in my late 20s, to get a mammogram and breast ultrasound, based off of her professional opinion. I call the womans imagining to schedule my appointment, after missing their first call, while I was at work. Trying to set up this appointment I was given attitude because they couldnt find my name in the system right away, but eventually we get the appointment booked. I show up for the appointment to struggle getting my name pulled up, and then being told that they rescheduled my appointment for an earlier date that has already passed. No one tried to contact me about this at all, and I expressed that I never made any changes, because I had to get time off work to do this. After they have messed up my appointment, they inform me that they might be able to get me in within the next three hours, all while questioning me if I was sure I didnt change my appointment. They couldnt get anyone to answer the phone for the ultrasound area. So Im told were going to just do the mammogram. Once back in the changing room, a woman comes in asking me questions that didnt relate to my situation, causing more confusion. She leaves, another lady comes in and says we are not doing the mammogram but can get me into the ultrasound. The lady who did the ultrasound not only made me feel the need to defend myself the whole time that I am exposed, by asking the same questions repeatedly and then by telling me I was too young to get a mammogram, (not that i was looking forward to any of this or had plans to do this, remember my doctor referred me.) She also opened the door to leave without giving me any time to cover my chest.I felt violated and treated with the most disrespect. As a young female with issues concerning my health, I will never feel comfortable having a private part of my body checked out at this establishment. The staff and situation had me in tears through the duration of my appointment, and still treated me as if I was the issue interrupting their time.I am not one that likes or wants to visit doctors, especially hospitals. I dont enjoy missing time from work, being given medication, or most of all being billed for what my insurance doesnt cover. So when I do reach out for help, I like to believe I am not wasting my time or anyone involved. This establishment will make you believe you are a waste of time. If you want actual help please consider any other option.
I went in Monday morning to have my son. The doctors an nurses on maturity ward were amazing. They went above and beyond their job, my C-section went great, my stay was great. They answered all questions, helped me through my pain an was great to my over excited family and friends. Even the food was great, from start to till I left. I never felt unwanted or rushed out of there. Such a great experience where the nurses, doctors, anesthesiologist that guy was amazing. He talked me through the whole thing, made sure I felt no pain, an made sure I was comfortable throughout the entire C-section. I didnt feel like another patient but felt like they cared. They deserve more than 5 stars, thank you for a great time an experience with my little boy being born.
A completely unprofessional ER. Employees from the nurses station could be heard making fun of and mocking a child calling out for his mother. They had no regard for the language they were using. Only one employee told us their name and that was the ER doctor who’s shift was ending. We had our own personal issues but will not put them on here. Go to Zanesville or Columbus. Seriously, any place but here. LMHS please don’t send your copied and pasted standard response. Try to make it seem like you care.
My daughter was bleeding and cramping last night and was in Heath so she went to Licking Memorial hospital on the maternity floor. They told her she was in labor, dilated to 3 and her placenta was falling out and theres nothing they can do. They told her the baby will live for a couple hours, that the baby was moving down more and more and that they could feel the head, you can imagine how distraught she was. She is out of there and went to her hospital where her doctor is and she is not in labor and not dilated and everything is looking good, the doctors and nurses on the maternity floor should have their licenses taken away, it is not okay with what they put her through, disgusting.
The ER at this hospital is ridiculous we arrived at 1150am by squad did not see a Dr until 215 in serious pain they drew blood and urine but could not send to lab because Dr did not put orders in. So at 3 pm they said they are taking her for catscan it is now 416pm and still no sign of radiology. Last time here was here for 12.5 Hours and left and went to osu. We should have went there this time but squad does not transport that far. This place is a joke. If you are smart go to columbus Lancaster mt vernon anywhere but here.they do not even rate a half star. They have signs posted top 100 they must have been at bottom of list and there was only 100 hospitals on list
So funny I read these reviews and see some of you saying you dont understand why they would leave a bad review because their experience was great!?! LOL Im guessing thats because you have private insurance and are lucky enough to not have the medical card!?! Do yourself a favor if you are reading this and take the time, if possible, to go to another hospital!!! They WILL misdiagnose you shove antibiotics you do NOT need and refuse to do ANY kind of testing that your insurance does not cover! I have had both bad and good experiences here depending on the doctor on call but if given a choice I will take the time to go to another hospital especially when it involves my children or loved ones!Im sure there are many law suits against this hospital past, current , and several in the making!
Doctor came in didnt introduce himself asked me what was wrong and walked out of room in the middle of answering him. Ordered a bunch of test that werent necessary and made a comment about not getting pain meds. Thank God I hadnt asked for any, I have a history of collapsed lungs including surgery on right one which is why I was there but he walked out before I could give him my history. Worst experience Ive ever had. Ill die before I come back to this joke of a place. Gonna get a huge bill for 2 secs of a quacks company. Dear God. Pitiful. Guess thats what happens when you drop a hospital in the middle of methville, but not all of us are looking for a high.
The fact that this is the closest hospital to where I live, and the main one as well, scares me. They prescribe the wrong medicines, misdiagnose, and leave so many questions unanswered. After talking to a real pharmacist, I found out that they lied to us and claimed a medicine would work for something entirely different than it is meant for. I am about done with this place. The doctors have a specific idea of what is wrong with you, without listening to what you have to say. They chase that idea, and forget everything else. This is far from the first time Ive had bad experiences and failure to get proper care. Ive had to watch my partner go through the worst pain shes ever experienced, and left the hospital with no answers, and with medication that doesnt even relate to the problem. Do not send your loved ones here.
Calling Covid clinic for hours on end for 4 days with only one phone number as a contact and all I get is a constant busy signal. How much more can this hospital screw up things in a pandemic? No attempt at having more than one phone line, or more than one person to man phones. Horrible, frustrating, and madding.
Had a good experience during my stay. If you have realistic expectations and dont expect to be waited on like your at some 5 star resort only rich people can afford I think you will come away with a good experience too. The staff were pleasant and kind.Yes, it can take time for them to get to you during the day. There is much more activity going on. From taking people to get testing, walking them in the hallways, looking for new medications if a person can not tolerate what they are currently being given, monitoring patients vitals, and moving people between the bed and chair/bathroom. This all takes a lot of time and should be obvious if only you take a moment to think about the Other patients who are also in the hospital.Being as self sufficient as possible while laid up in bed is hard, but it is doable and takes some of the load off the staff caring for patients so when you actually do need them they can get to you and others quicker. For instance, can you pee in the urinal in bed. Yes its unpleasant, but just this one simple act because its done several times a day per person can shave a lot of time off from dealing with people and get you help faster if the majority of other patients works together towards this goal.So yea, for me my stay was a good one.
Went into the emergency room with severe chest pains and coughing up blood. 4 hours later and I still hadnt been seen. I ended up leaving, and Im going to another hospital. As I was leaving, a lady with a toddler came in and was taken back immediately. DO NOT GO HERE. Horrible staff, definitely will make the drive to Columbus for a good hospital and staff next time.
I dont understand the negative reviews. This is a wonderful small county hospital that I have used several times for emergencies and other services. I have been admitted no less than 3 times and was very well taken care of. Every single time I have been there I have been very satisfied. Its important for people to realize the emergency room IS NOT a first come, first served service. One is seen according to the degree of emergency as determined by the triage procedure. Also, if a patient is difficult or a jerk how do you think that might affect the way youre treated by the staff.
I went there after pain in my left lung and they had to syringe fluid. They wanted to admit me. A new doctor came on call and he said I was above their hospital know how and he didnt want me on his time. I was then transferred to riverside, which by the way is a wonderful hospital. Needless to say they gave me as they mentioned was the oldest bed in the place which the mattress was gone. Was completely rude. Tore up all my veins from my arms down to my fingers. Riverside got my vein on first try and was mortified when the saw what they did to me. They only good thing there was the food for a hospital. I should be thankful they made me leave. I was admitted in riverside for over a week with lung issues. Whats worse they are denying my insurance claim stating there was no reason for me to have come in the hospital even they they sent me out in a squad. Still fighting this one.THIS IS NOT A HOSPITAL... I CALL IT LICKING COUNTY COMMUNITY CARE. Urgent care would be better
Waited in pain for 2 1/2 hours and the people ahead of me hadnt been taken to a room yet so I knew my wait was probably going to be around 4 hours just to be taken to a room. I decided Id probably get better faster treating myself at home, and be more comfortable so I left. First I asked if they were under staffed and was told no we just dont have any rooms available. My dad said if you had enough staff you could empty the rooms faster and treat more efficiently. She still was adamant that they arent understaffed. In my opinion they are. Ill think twice about ever going back.
We have had several issues with LMH offices and the hospital spanning the last 12 years. Their operations are not conducive and we have moved to unaffiliated medical practices. They do not provide the resources for their employees to conduct their job effectively. I’d much rather receive medical care locally but for these reasons I will not.I’d love the opportunity to speak to someone from LMH who could make a difference but so far I’ve not been able to reach anyone.
I could not say anything bad about this place I have come here many times for different reasons. This time was the absolute best experience I have ever had . We came in on Tuesday morning to have my son, it was an amazing experience. Full of emotions. The staff in the maternity area are amazing we hope to leave Friday as long as he checks out okay. Thank you all .Also we have come here for emergency reasons as well and the wait can very we have waited 7 hours before but that is the worst .
If I could give this hospital a negative 5 star I would. My boyfriend was coughing up blood and throwing up aswell. We waited 4 hours in the lobby and saw no one, so we left. They took patients who got the 2 hours after us. I do NOT recommend this hospital to anyone!!!! My cousin sliced his hand open and they stitched them wrong so he went to another hospital and they even said that if he didn’t come to them it would have gotten infected and possibly lose his hand. If you are expecting to come out this hospital alive then your wrong. Driving a couple miles to the next hospital would be best. DO NOT GO HERE!!!
Ok so covid huh? My fiance had a stroke and only one person was allowed to see her at a time. what a joke. What if it was your mom, fiance, wife, husband, brother etc.... So rude and not caring at all. Get better treatment in all aspects in Columbus. Thats saying something.
Was in ER for more than 7 hours. The screen when you walk in the door said 1 hour 30 minute wait, we waited 3 hours until we got a room. The Dr. and nurse were extremely nice, however, we were in a room by the nurses station. Listening to nurses talk about how excited they are about the salad bar being open all night as Im waiting over an hour to get an IV removed is ridiculous. If you are that busy I would say you dont have 10 minutes to discuss whats on the new salad bar.
I am new to area. Yesterday my roommate had what seemed like a TIA while golfing with his friend. I am a retired RN. When he returned home from golfing he was shaky but no longer confused. Under duress I took him to the nearest ER to rule out a stroke. It was 6:00 pm. There was no wait. The staff was very competent. We were there for 7 hours. He had a CT, an MRI, blood work and IV antibiotics. Dr. Terrill Burnworth was an EXCELLENT Physician. He was very thorough. He also called the neurologist at home for a consult. He was diagnosed with a TIA and also a sinus infection. The nursing staff was friendly and competent. The cafeteria was great. I have worked in many hospitals and for a smaller town ER I was totally satisfied with his care.
My only experience with Licking Memorial Hospital is with their Womens Health Office and the Labor & Delivery Ward, both of which I had a pleasant experience. I definitely had my favorites within the group of OB/GYNs and Midwives, but I would have trusted any of them in the time of crisis. The Labor & Delivery staff was EXCELLENT. I dont think I could have hoped for a better experience. They were supportive and helpful and answered all of my frantic new-mom questions without making me feel like an idiot. When my newborn had a bit of a health scare, they were comforting and helped keep me calm and focused. I really appreciated all their help and guidance!
The wait time was really outrageous. I waited until 945pm to get seen when I showed up at 7am, waited until 1AM to get results. My first impression of the staff I would say they are helpful, lag behind a lot though. If the waiting times werent so long and they had a spot for the ones that come in before everyone else they should be the ones to address the most urgent situations first, most people just go in to get pain medication and leave because so many druggies in the area, definitely keep a better track on them. The doctor didnt even come in to talk to me and that was so unprofessional.
I went in last night for chest and arm pain, dizziness, & nausea. After letting me sit in waiting room for hour and a half they finally took me back. Dr. Jolly comes into my room for 2 mins tells me my heart is fine but my lungs arent and runs back out of the room. After another hour and a half a nurse comes in, gives me a blanket and tells me the dr will be in soon. SHE DIDNT EVEN KNOW HE HAD ALREADY BEEN IN. Probably because he still hadnt put in any treatment orders for me AT ALL. So I ask her for some tylenol or something for the pain as I. In tears, & she leaves the room. An hour later some other man comes in and asks for a urine sample, & I tell him I already went as Ive been there for over 4 hours with NO treatment whatsoever and I had to go. Then another man comes in and gives me prednisone...which Ive been given for breathing issues before so no biggie. Then the urine sample guys comes back in and says were gonna get you outta here and goes to take my blood pressure. Im like, you havent been worried about my blood pressure this whole time but now that youre discharging me you need it...absolutely ridiculous. Nurse comes back in with discharge papers that basically say that dont know whats wrong with me or why Im feeling pain. So. 5 hours to find out they have no idea and Im still in pain and dizzy as all get out. Worst hospital experience ever!!!!!
I have had blood clots on two different occasions, so when the pain in my leg returned to the point that it was very painful I went to the ER on a Sunday. The board showed there were over 20 people in front of me so when I checked in I asked if a Doppler could be done at Urgent Care because I would be more than happy to go there instead of waiting for a long period. I was informed that they only did them at LMH. So I waited 4 1/2 hours in the waiting room and then went back to my room and waited some more. The attendants were very nice and also apologized for the extreme wait. Once the doctor came in and heard my issues his comment was there is no one here today that can do a Doppler, but I will schedule you for one tomorrow Really?? So I go Monday to get my test and in conversation the tech states she was on call all week-end and was tired. I went through my story and she said they never called her to come in to do my test. So my visit to the ER to get a test scheduled was over a 6 hour hospital visit, a bill in excess of $550 and the test the next day that was $500. Would have been nice if the tech who checked me in said that they wouldnt be able to do that test on a Sunday, would have saved me a whole lot of money and time. They just dont communicate!!
Absolute garbage hospital.. Every time weve tried to go here for anything, simple need to be stitched up or way more serious items, its been an absolute bust, I seriously feel like they just bring people in to get the insurance payoff and send people on their way after sitting around for 5-6 hours. Would rather make the hour drive into Columbus to go to Grant. I would really hate to be in an actual trauma situation in need of my life being saved and sent to this hospital because Im not sure they would actually do anything. Fingers crossed this never happens.
Went in for a potentially life threatening problem and waited for 6 hours and gave up. Licking memorial hospital is the worst hospital I have ever used for an emergency department. I kept asking how much longer letting them know I was getting worse, and they pretty much didnt care. I left and started to lose consciousness as I left and almost keeled over on the side walk as I left. If you have a major health problem and need an emergency room I highly recommend you dont go there. They will treat you like garbage and not take care of you. I damn near stroked out my blood pressure was so high and they didnt care. I hope this hospital learns how to actually care for the ill.
My 9month old baby went in with a fever. The Dr seemed way too inexperienced with pediatric care. We were sent him with a RX for Tylenol. The diagnosis... Pediatric fever. Well duh, thats what I took her in for. There was no proper exam just a quick look in her ears. I took her to Nationwide the next day where she got a proper diagnosis and adjusted her meds to the correct dosage. Please dont take children here.
3rd time here for the same thing yet I sit here waiting 6 hours and nothing has been said he yet. Ive watch 2 people across from me come in and leave. My nurse hasnt come in yet and the nurses station was just laughing and having a good time goofing off. Glad they take our health so serious. So, in 30 mins I will be leaving because everyone else has been seen and I have not with something Ive been here 3 times for. I will never come back here again to the ER. I will be taking myself to Knox county from now on. This place is a joke.
Lmh labor and delivery staff are absolutely hands down the most wonderful and understanding people. I had a very pleasant experience recovering from a hysterectomy. And thou I dont wish to have another surgery ,if I did I could only hope they would be my post op care. Keep doing what your doing because even one positve act of kindness goes a long way!! Thank you very much!!
Dont even know how to put my sons care into words, was in the ER for a fever, headache and stiff neck they ordered a spinal tap right off the top it came back fine and they sent him on his way, 4 days later I took him to Lancaster hospital where they did blood work, a CT of his head, chest x-ray, treated him for his migraine, IV floods, and he had pneumonia. I spoke to customer care who advised me that they followed protocol. I beg to differ. When I ask them if they would run other text they started to get defensive and assured me that they did all they could do. I will never go here again.
I was sent to the ER here by my university medical center and it was one of the worst experiences ever. The doctor was incompetent, the only decent aspect was one of my nurses. They ran many unnescessary tests and had terrible bedside manner. If given the choice, go to OSU because you will receive terrible medical treatment at Licking Memorial.
ER mostly sucks because their staff is so overworked and exhausted. they seem like they don’t care. however, the other floors and doctors and every other aspect is great. i love the food there and the people have been great to me. personally i wouldn’t go there for a major surgery but minor things like stitches, they’ve done well for my family and friends.
Licking Memorial Hospital gave my husband the best care. The doctors and nurses were great. They took care of all needs. My husband had emergency surgery and the doctor and surgeon kept us up to date on everything before and after the surgery. It is a very clean hospital. You cant find a better hospital!!
When a patient has been laying in pain in a room for over two hours and you cant help her dont stock gloves and be aggravating. Pain is horrible. Bathroom floors need serious attentionAMAZED AT HOW THEY LAUGH AT PEOPLE AND JOKE ABOUT PEOPLES HEALTH. IM I AT A HOSPITAL? Better off to see a veterinarian from the Zoo! Never been to a dirtier nasty hospital that laughs at patients. Shut this place down!
My wife had a severe reaction to her second shingles vaccine. 24 hours after getting the shot a the VA clinic, she was covered in hives from head to toe. Returned to the VA, they right away referred her to Licking Memorial just down the street. We sat in the waiting room for hours as her hives got worse, did not even offer a Benadryl. At this point debating leaving for Columbus as I walk to the CVS next door for Benadryl. Should have gone to Columbus in the first place.
I cant believe this hospital is still open. The amount of misdiagnosed people that were treated there had severe problems, and the Staff/Doctors failed to find the real problems of many patients. And considering that more people die a year due to professionals not being professional, through medical misdiagnosis, kinda makes me uneasy to put trust into this place for my health and well-being. The best bet (if you dont want to have such a high risk of misdiagnosis) would be go somewhere else.
18 months ago, I was in for several days d/t pancreatitis. My care was excellent. Recently, I was shocked to find myself admitted to the CCU Unit for several days, and had much testing, including a heart cath. Praise be to God, all turned out well. Problems were evidentally related to meds and low potassium . Again, the care I received was excellent! Each person that dealt with me, touched me, was kind and compassionate. Being a retired RN, I can have high expectations of all who work with the sick and their families...my desire for professional, compassionate care was definitely given. I am grateful. When you are no longer the employee of the hospital, but lying sick and apprehensive in the bed, everything is different. I cannot say enough good about Dr Tekleyes, my cardiologist! I have not had such attentive, kind care since the retirement of Dr Mary Beth Hall. And I greatly appreciate the same excellent follow up care from Dr Sarah Lim and her kind staff!
#LickingMemorialHospital has a very attentive staff throughout all of its departments I dont understand why the reviews on here or solo if you can please give me a call I am looking for work I am a 57 year old retired Navy veteran and would like to work in your technology department one other thing I would like to tell the public is if you ever get a chance to go to this Hospital make sure you go to the cafeteria downstairs they have a very friendly staff it is well maintained and the food is delicious and healthy they do have some junk Foods there for the Sweet Tooth but most of the cooked-to-order items are fresh out of the garden. Keep up the great work.
I have been trying to get a colonoscopy since Feb 17th cant travel for one , after my last visit with Dr. Greathouse she told me to walk down hall and see them, same answer its on doctors desk, I need rechecked before something else bad happens, they keep blaming it on covid, I dont believe it !
Doctor Michael McFarlane is a terrible doctor. My child had been having a fever of 102 for 2 days..rotating ibuprofen and Tylenol for that time.. he woke up crying and Im pain.He barely touched my child. He didnt do any tests and sent him home with an antibiotic and tried to give him Tylenol...which I refused and left .He was condescending and acted like I was bothering him to be bringing my child in to this hospital. This anymore experience BETTE Not be charged to my insurance.
On the night of Wednesday Jan 16th 2019 , early Thursday morning I was admitted from emergency room to room 404. My jewelry ( 5 gold hoop earrings , and 1 gold barbell for my left eyebrow )had to be removed due to CT scans and x-rays. They was placed in a zip lock bag. And placed on my passport paperwork on counter.Very early (approx. 3am) Friday morning I realized there was someones dried blood on the handle/ safety bars on bed rails. When I brought this to my nurses attention. They contacted housekeeping to remove my bed. The lady in charge of housekeeping came in my room with the patient experience manager. Housekeeping immediately called me a liar to my face. And stated that said area of my bed was in fact rust not blood. Samples were sent to be checked to see what it really was. When they realized the sample wasnt big enough , a lady came back and used her personal pocket knife to collect more samples. After this event I was told I was being discharged from my room.On getting my belongings together, I realized my Nike tennis shoes and Nike sweater was in patient belongings bag. But my jewelry was gone. Of course Noone was willing to admit they seen or had my jewelry. I have since filed reports with the hospital and the Newark police dept. The officer insured me that in cases like this , i wouldnt recieve my jewelry back. This is the worst I have ever been treated while being on licking memorial grounds! Laura Shearn
I went here September 14th bc Im 17 weeks pregnant and I was bleeding and having pains. They treated me with such disrespect. They didnt check my cervix, they didnt call my Dr to report I was there, they didnt do blood work, all they did was a urine test and a ultrasound... Two days later pain increases and bleeding once more.... A different hospital will give you answers you need.
I went there in EXCRUCIATING pain 3 TIMES (I mean screaming my lungs out excruciating) and not only did it take them HOURS (which I dont understand due to the overflow of nurses gossiping at their station) to check me out, but all they did was give me pain medication in the E.R. and told me to go home. But, the last time I was there, they FINALLY informed me I had gallstones. So of course, I went home and tried to let my medicine do its job because thats all I had to rely on, it seems. But I come to St. Anns the NEXT DAY with unbearable nausea and vomiting, and now Im going into surgery to get my gallbladder removed. If you ever want a hospital to actually help you, dont go to licking memorial. St. Anns had me out of the E.R. and admitted in 2 hours. They questioned me as to why licking memorial even let me go home. Now, i go into surgery at 10 this a.m.
Worst hospital I have ever had the desire to be at and or work with. Tried to get a job here a while back and they were completely unprofessional with my application and my follow ups. And several months later finally got around to calling me back just to reject my potential job opportunity. Doctors here are worse. They are disrespectful and also unprofessional. Highly dont recommend.
Please just drive to Columbus. Anyone with tattoos, piercings, colorful hair, or has an alternative look is treated like a drug addict. Care is terrible and is very slow even on slow days. Three of us when in with a bad cough and were all diagnosed with something different even though we had all gotten sick at the same time. Another time they nearly cost my husband a testicle! He got a very bad internal infection because they didnt clean his wounds properly and he nearly died. I know of so many horror stories from this place that you are literally taking a gamble with your life if you choose LMH for any serious care.
I had a visit at Licking Memorial Urgent care in Pataskala on May 8th 2017. I went in as a self pay patient for severe pain in my lower right portion of my Lung when breathing in. I have had a infection a few times before with the same symptoms, and have spent many years as a medical professional myself as well. I went to the urgent care described my symptoms to a nurse. I saw the nurse maybe 5 minutes, then Dr Kevin Finley stepped in, who I saw maybe a total of 30 seconds. He did very little to diagnose, ordered a x-ray then sent me on my way with a prescription that I found out later was for cough medication and a very expensive cough med. I had no coughing and did not complain of coughing at all. To top it all off I got billed nearly $600.00 for this visit that did not even find let alone fix the problem. It looks like Licking memorial is still going strong in their attempt to kill as many patients as they can and this so called Dr needs to lose his license to practice.
Upon entering LMH this AM, I was greeted by 3 ladies to check my temperature and ask questions. After passing the test, I ask for one of their cloth masks. The older of the 3 snapped back WEAR THE ONE YOU HAVE ON very harshly. The one I was wearing was an older paper style. My point is that 1000s of my dollars have been spent at LMH over my 70 years. No one needs talked to that way upon entering any establishment, especially a care facility. PS. the rest of my visit and the employees were GREAT!
If I could give 0 stars I would Dr. Rossi is the worse dr they have there. For 1 he told me right off he didnt no wht they could do for me there yesterday when I went in cuz my wound opened up from a surgery I had at grant hospital. It was open bleeding and fluid was coming out I was in so much pain from it and he wouldnt give me anything for it. He Treated me like I was a junky cuz Ive had a lot of surgeries in my life. Then I asked him to call my Dr so he could tell him wht to do for me he told me no it wasnt his job to do that. Then he told me I should go to rehab when Ive never been addicted to anything in my life. I walked out crying and still with my stomach opened up an bleeding every where. I walked out called my Dr an he told me to go to grant and they helped me and didnt judge me before they new my situation. Dr. Rossi needs to be fired and his medical license taken away for good..
Left after two hours of sitting in the waiting room waiting to be seen, even after being referred by urgent care. Apparently sudden onset blindness in splitting headache in a 40-year-old man is not critical. After reading all of the negative reviews whilst we were waiting, and realizing that people have waited up to seven hours to be seen we decided to leave.
Had a miscarriage... Arrived by squad... Layed there at hospital and bled heavily for 5 hours. They sent me home saying I was fine. Had second opinion later that day and found out I needed emergency surgery. I was sent back for surgery and now can barely move infection in organs is so bad. Went back for help and got none. Almost died because of their carelessness. On verge of death again because apparently they think everyone with tattoos is a drug addict Im going to guess...? Nope... Just trying to stay alive and care for my kids. Sorry youre so busy doc, I didnt plan on miscarrying my baby boy and spending the night in there! I continue to suffer, still, 2 weeks later. Thanks for the bill. And for the total of 5 attempts at giving me an I.V... Can barely move my arms a week later from the bruising... Heartbroken, untreated, WORRIED and in pain... 1 star.
This is a glorified urgent care, if you want to call it even that. Do yourself a huge favor and save some money in terms of a hospital bill and a private ambulance bill: If you are able to go to one of the many Columbus hospitals. That is VERY likely where you will ultimately end up. This hospital can not seem to handle most anything and if another hospital did something, you will get shipped out because they do not want to deal with it. What a joke!
I thought my water broke and was immediately rushed to the labor and delivery unit. I had all the tests done I needed to make sure that it didnt break and I wasnt losing any fluid my little girl needs. They checked on her and made sure we were ok. I felt like a priority even with 6 women there in labor.
Most of the techs are great. So are half the nurses. All the doctors have control issues and dont know their head from their rear end, and as bull headed as they come.Because of this, and their failure to properly follow protocol, I would rather die of a flesh eating disease than go back.Even if I did go back, Id still probably die.
I truly understand how drug abuse is viewed but I received the worst treatment at LMH Ive ever experienced in a hospital and Ive had lots of hospital experience due to a severe car accident I had a couple years ago. The reason I went to LMH is because Im on a controlled substance called suboxone which is legally prescribed to me from a very nice doctor named Rani Lahki. I am prescribed this drug because of previous heroin addiction that I am doing very well recovering from. I ran out of my meds early because I mistakenly told my doctor I had plenty because I miscounted my meds, so I was experiencing extreme withdrawal. Long story short, the nurses were very kind and professional. The doctor on call was Dr. Anders and I was treated like a total low life and he asked and said some very offensive things, like where do I live and how I afford to live, why Im not currently employed ext. I know these questions dont sound that offensive but the manner in which they were asked and the tone was. After that, he basically told me to stop my meds all together and just suffer through it. Anyone in the medical field knows that withdrawal from opiates can be very dangerous and in some cases, life threatening. I got the most minimum care possible and mostly ignored in the ER. I was not looking for a shot of narcotics or anything like that. All I wanted was help with what I was going through and maybe some advice on how to continue my recovery. Like I said, I got the minimal amount of care and treated very poorly only because of my history. My fiance even noticed how I was spoken to and treated was less than acceptable. Had I not had a history of drug abuse or prescribed suboxone I would have been treated much better. I know this because this is our local hospital and I have been there for other things and was treated very well. The way I see it as, drug abuse is a bad thing to do to yourself but Ive been trying very hard to correct the situation that I put MYSELF in stupidly but I never want to be that way again and plan on a full recovery. I think doctors should HELP people in these kinds of situations, regardless of their personal views. Hands down, worst experience in a hospital Ive ever experienced. Dr. Anders was very rude and unsympathetic. I dont expect a pity party but I do expect professional and polite treatment regardless of any medical history. I will never return to LMH unless I am dying or maimed to the point I had no choice but LMH. Thanks to Dr. William Anders.
These people have nearly killed me twice. They sent me to the psych ward when I had sepsis. Because they thought I was on illicit drugs or something. As well as over dose me on sedatives on another occasion. If they cant figure something out they call you crazy. This would be the place to go if you break your arm or something but not in a life or death situation. I would not recommend this place to anyone who has auto immune issues or has any other complex health problems. Go to a bigger hospital whos staff has better sense.
Awful, just plain awful. Went in because my mom had a mental breakdown at work to get an evaluation and a list of numbers she could call. She is being kept against her will for her own safety only making her more distraught. All because of a misunderstanding about her having a suicidal thought (no intentions of acting on it), but because she has access to a firearm it is too dangerous to let her leave.
Went in with sever nausea vomiting and diarrhea over the 11hour wait I had become very dehydrated and went unconscious. they finally took me back and the doctor started to give me fluids well they gave me to much and sent me in to heart failure and filled my lungs with fluid then decided to transfer me out without my records to Zanesville those doctors were so mad I was about 1 min away from dying and lmh had no care in the world to help me
If you need an ER or hospital, drive by this one and head to any Ohio Health or Mt. Camel facility. I recently visited this hospitals emergency room after being transported there by squad following a an auto accident. Upon arrival at the hospital I was forced to WALK to the triage desk, stand at the registration counter and then wait in the waiting room in a C-collar. I have a significant cervical spine history and I am very cautious regarding my neck especially since I had all the fusion hardware removed on 7-1-2015 due to a staph infection. I requested some pain medication, since I had been very vocal about their treatment protocols and quality of care, I was given Ativan as a pain medication, this was complete BS as Ativan is a benzodiazapan very similar to Xanax and in my opinion given to me to shut me up! My wife received similar care, she was worse than me as she also hit her head and has a concussion. The treatment at this hospital is horrible and if you are not careful, they might just kill or maim you in the process.
Pathetic excuse of a hospital. I needed x-rays of my chest and I was told insurance would take care of the costs. Sure enough I get a $500 bill a week later. Another time I woke up in the middle of the night from throbbing chest pains. I drove to the ER but the lady at the desk was completely useless in getting me help. I would not go here if my life depended on it. This is the worst of incompetency. If you need real medical attention GO TO COLUMBUS
I refer to my experiences in the LMH ER. I have been to the ER over the past few years for 3 separate emergencies. Each time, I was in so much pain, sick and scared. Im a senior and you never know whether this time it may take your life. Well, there was no waiting….. I was decended upon by gentle, reasurring nurses, doctors and technicians that took charge and with courage, knowledge and care gave me back my health.
My insurance company paid for my entire surgery. Licking memorial has sent me three bills stating I need to pay $270 for some of the lab work. I have contacted lmh, my insurance company and have a claims summary stating it was paid. Now they are threatening to report it to my credit even after lmh told me everything was fine. One of my friends went through the same thing with licking memorial. What a scam. I can only imagine how many people have paid without looking into it.
Nurse Shauna and Doctor Bromley took excellent care of me when I went to the ER. Doctor Bromley even came back to see me just because I had a question, after he had already seen me and given me the green light to go home. Shauna was emotionally supportive like she was a part of my family. These people deserve more credit than they get. They don’t do what they do for the credit, they do it because they are good people. Thank you Doctor Bromley and Nurse Shauna for not only taking care of me but for giving me the tools to continue in everyday life. ❤️
Licking Memorial Hospital/ Tri County Radiology made a HUGE error in the Diagnosis/ Treatment of my mothers scan, Although LMH has admitted to some fault( recorded conversation x2) Tri-county has refused to address the issue, And both companies have both made it clear, You want answers, Sue us!!! Just flat out not good business and definetly not good patient care. Please if you have had recent scans have them reviewed again..
Worthless. Go in for extreme pain after injury of falling on my knee and pretty much get aspirin . Even when I ask for something stronger I was told Dr. Anders dont give anything but baby asprin pretty much it dont matter if they dont work for u take it or leave it. They ofeed no meds for pain n my Honest to God pain is a 10 the worst pain Ive felt and Ive even had a tummy tuck c section hysterectomy ben in 3 car wrecks where the trucks were totalled out just last year.
You call up there to check on your child and they tell you there is no nurse line which is a bold face lie I am a nurse and I dont talk to registration when sending a resident! I mean it is ridiculous, took over an hour to get CAT Scan results for a possible appendicitis. A man comes in with a possible stroke I mean left sided droop slurred speech, headache, and the left him in the waiting room for 45 minutes... Hey licking memorial what is an emergency for you people?
When my niece brings her room mate and Best Friend in to see a Doctor..that Doctor is required to listen to the Why they are there..how dare you call my niece and her friends basically druggies and party people because their in college...and to Walk out while your being told what the problem is and take Motrin.. Are you fricken serious! You do not belong in the medical field and your lucky this Aunt wasnt anywhere near you.. What a sad excuse for a hospital!
Every county around Licking accepts Medical Mutual medicare supplement except for LMH. All of my Licking County doctors, OSU, New Albany, Knox, Genesis, Mt Carmel, OSU...imagine my surprise that this county hospital does not. They are all about money and nothing about service. I would like to give a minus star.
Why has Dr. Joel Anders not been canned? Seriously, hes a moron with a piece of paper that allows him to practice medicine. A sad system, truly. I am terrified of having to be transported to that ER for fear of ending up with him as a doctor. The only plausible explanation is that LMH cannot keep doctors, and its slim pickins around here. He has got to be the nastiest, most slap-dash doctor, with the emotional intelligence quotient of sedentary rock. There are some amazing people who happen to work for LMH, but the hospital certainly doesnt strive for amazing.
I had a friend come to your hospital with what ended up to be 2nd and 3rd degree burns on his entire one lower leg (which is ALWAYS a MAJOR burn) and all this hospital did was tell him it was 2nd degree burn, applied 4X4s soaked with normal saline solution....made him wait 2 hours to be seen then applied silvadene and wrapped with dry gauze then proceeded to send him home with out any pain meds telling him they werent needed NEVER cleaned it...ARE YOU KIDDING ME?? I am a nursing student and know to treat better than that!!! Fortunatley he took advise from friends and went to a local burn center where its was properly debrided and treated and gave him something for pain!! SHAME ON YOU for POOR CARE!!
THIEVES !!!!!!! you overcharge people with insurance and roll out the red carpet for anyone with a medical card.this is one of the reasons hard working people have to file banckruptcy. you charged us 410 dollars for an x-ray of my wifes knee? gimmie a break thats highway robbery and you know it .FROM NOW ON WE ARE GETTING A PRICE FOR ANYTHING WE HAVE DONE BEFORE WE GET YOUR RANSOM LETTER IN THE MAIL.
This hospital will lie to you and tell you there taking your baby to get testing then call children services so that they can sell the child or something cuz baby had nothing wrong used the excuse cuz I was depressed should be investigated to be honest I will resume attempting to get ahold of channel 10 news and the nurse liz was involved the most in the whole cps thing and continued to lie and said thats her job but Baby wasnt anything wrong all they told me was the removed her cuz of I have depression like 89% of american or anyone idk all together hospital is involved in some scamming stuff smh
The worse hospital I’ve ever been to the nurse (Angela ) did a horrible job and was so rude and mean I feel so bad for all her patients and dr. Jolly almost gave my sister meds that when mixed could have killed her so I highly suggest not to waste your time and money at this facility
My uncle went there by squad were in room he says he has pain but they dont give pain meds we sat there for hours finally doc says they wanna keep him over night for observation and from wat ive heard about the place i said we can take him to mt caremal east and doctor got upset and when my uncle signed out at his own risk they gave him a wheel chair and said u can roll him out how rude dont ever go there u might not make it out alive they dont even deserve a half of a star
Worst place ever we have been here since 3 am due to my daughters water broke going on 24 hours and still doing nothing to get her dialated or nothing i swear if something happens to my daughter or grandbaby i will sue you people dont ever come to this hospital you will regret it

2022-04-21I cannot speak for how the hospital deals with life and death emergencies, but I can speak for my own experience, which despite it being a hospital stay, was a pretty good experience. I came in with shingles around my left eye, and the nurses who took care of me were all wonderful. Pardon me as I am bad with names, but I did remember some: Amanda, Nicole, Pam, Colin and Shelby, not to mention countless others who took very good care of me and made my stay much better. Nurses are over worked and underpaid and have to deal with so much during their shifts. Hopefully I was a pretty easy patient and they were able to deal with patients who needed more help. Thank you for all of your hard work and effort on my behalf, and for treating me with dignity.

2022-05-10My wife had to go here for kidney stones. No issues at all. She ended up having to be admitted and was there for almost 24 hours. All the nurses were amazing and helpful. Dr. Reedus, was very kind and knowledgeable. And he explained everything to me to the T. I will definitely go back for any of my hospital needs.

2022-04-27This is actually a great hospital and a great ER if youre actually in grave danger. If youre not in grave danger, youre going to have to wait. The staff has always been very kind with me and then make sure they take care of my needs. Some people might have an attitude but you dont know what they just dealt with. Hospitals are hard to work at. Sure Their job is to be smiley but sometimes thats really rough. Everyones only a human.

2022-04-24I went to see Dr D’Anna Mullins and she was the most personal, intelligent, informative doctor I’ve ever went to. I walked away, looked at my wife and asked her if she had ever had an experience like that. She immediately said absolutely not, she was amazing. I couldn’t have agreed more. After trying to get into Ohio State to see a hematologist for over 6 weeks and hours spent with the back and forth, I scheduled a visit here. I lucked out, because she is amazing. If you need a Hematologist, I highly recommend her.

2022-06-24I can absolutely understand why this health care facility received such a poor rating. I had a routine mammogram on 6/24/22, and every single staff member I can in contact with was crass, rude, disrespectful and unprofessional not to mention self absorbed. Hospital senior administration should be ashamed for accepting this abominable behavior from any human let alone your own staff members. You are in the negative rating. 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼

2022-06-23My brother was diagnosed with lung cancer and was undergoing chemo and radiation. However, the nurses in the chemo lab said they couldnt access veins anymore and pushed him and his wife to have a port placed. Not even a week later he was found to be septic from the port. A PICC line would have been less invasive but no the nurses and doctors said no. After one month my brother died from their poor care and lack of intelligence and experience. Dont ever go there unless you have a death wish

2022-06-25This Hospital is amazing! Always implementing best practice measures. The built in oak style design throughout seems really outdated and it would be lovely if some more updates were made. Freshly remodeled cafeteria with great options.

2022-04-22So far this hospital has been nothing but confusing one member of staff will tell us one thing and the other will say the exact opposite neither me my newborn or spouse has covid and weve been told, since the baby tested negative for covid we could have visitors but now were being told we cant because we opted out to test for covid, and every other instance has been just as contradictory and upsetting I personally cant wait to get out of this place its literally the most unorganized, unprofessional, and intolerable hospital Ive ever set foot in. I would not recommend giving birth here unless you want you and your baby tested and prodded and made to basically bend to every little whim or desire, and even after bending over backward to meet their demands you most likely will still not be able to have visitors and you most likely wont get a straight answer or if you do it most likely will be contradicted. I welcome any response from the hospital please explain yourselves, get your staff on the same page so that your patients feel like they are getting safe care and truthful information, because thats definitely not what it feels like.

2022-06-17I turned in a heart monitor on a Monday and the results have still not been read or sent to my family doctor by Friday. I truly hope nothing is seriously wrong, but it appears no one seems to care at the hospital. I would have gone to a different hospi6if Id have known your service would take so long.

2022-01-30Youre better off in a third world hospital than here. I think they only hire the rejects of the medical field. Any time I have come here its a 3 hour deal or more because they make you wait for everything. Any other hospital they are in and out. Not sure how this place hasnt been shutdown for malpractice.
