Officer Shad Green left me and my wife along side the road in 15 degree tempatures, at 5am, holding two roosters. Yes roosters. 2 miles from our job. 150 miles from home with under age children, who live off grid in the woods.Over a tail light issue.I hope lightning hits him in the forhead in front of his family. Hes lucky he had that super suit on.

Deputies were very helpful in dealing with a family member blocking my driveway, to try and force me to interact with them. Even though it was the other party who called deputies out, they were so quick in doing a cursory investigation (not even 30 minutes), they quickly assessed the other party needed to leave the area. This is especially meaningful as usually when this individual is harassing other family members in Columbus, CPD takes two and three hours to get a hold of the situation and tell the family member to move along. Thank you so much for your prompt response and quickly diffusing a harassment situation.

I have NEVER had an experience with the Sheriffs department that was negative. The deputies have always been very respectful, reasonable, and down to earth. The only thing I would like to see is Licking county become a 2A Sanctuary County. but beyond that, I have nothing bad to say about the job that Licking County Sheriffs Department does.

As much as I support our police, it really irks me when I see them do the things they would quickly deal with us about. So today, 18JUL17, I was on SR 16 just passing Thornwood Crossing, when one of our LC Sheriff SUVs pulled up behind me fast, as if he was in a hurry. I was doing 60 mph, so I was thinking I was about to be pulled over. Thankfully, that wasnt the case, but he rode my bumper pretty good, maybe 5-6 feet behind me. When I was finally able to pull over out of the passing lane just before the Church St exit, he gunned it and flew past me. He was easily doing 80 or better the way he pulled away from me. I watched him weave in and out of traffic until I couldnt see him anymore, and that was right before I got to 21st St. This was around 2:15pm, and he was NOT running hot. The number on his back plate was 102. I see this as a major problem. None of us are allowed to run that fast, neither are they as they are supposed to follow all laws as they are set forth. Randy Thorpe, its time you got your officers in line. I will come back and review every time something like this happens, because this isnt the first time. Im getting tired of seeing them do what they want, yet we get tickets for it. Give me a break, that is just plain nonsense and need a to stop. Do I believe it Will? Not at all, Im a realist. Just do your job and follow the same laws you are sworn to uphold, or get out of the profession.

Thier dispatch department is a joke , there has been many instances where i have called to find out what was going on in my community. i understand you cant give me the details, and they are rude and all they had to say is there was a accident. with all the cop cars. whos to say it was a killer on the loose , i hae a right to know its public opinion. and refused to send me to a superviors voicemail. and wanted to argue with me that it was under a ohio state department. yet i called muskingham county sherriffs dept. and they knew what was going on in our county and gave me info. yet licking county said they had know idea what was going on, and said they have different procedures, yet i called the next day and talked to records divions, civial and they gave me the info i needed, to me you need some consistency. why is it dispatch says they cant tell me any info, yet i called civial divison and muskingham county and they gave me the info. what a crock. wish i coudl give them a zero star

Horrible service I’ve came here past month every week to get my CCW and the lady in there moves slow as molasses. And will cut off accepting new Applications 2 hours before close time. Come to work and do your job not that hard.

AND HOLD THEM FIRMLY IN YOUR CARE SHOULD DANGER COME THEIT WAY.GIVE THEM TRUE STRENGHTH AND COURAGE AS THEY SERVE TIL DUTYS END. Called over 10 times. All officers lines sent to voicemail. CCW office voicemail from 2pm up to 4. Seems to me they close early. Doesnt even deserve a star.
