Three stars because its okay. Had the tickets I used not been a gift Id be less ambivalent about it, but doesnt seem worth the price of admission.Pretty small space. A couple short rides suitable for young kids and a play area. Within an hour my 7 year old was bored and wanting to do other things. The part that was enjoyed the most was the section with Columbus sites like the statehouse, COSI, and the OSU shoe made with LEGO. Theres are also some smaller sections with landmarks from Cleveland and Cincinnati made with LEGO.
Very fun experience for the kids. We spent about 4 hours in there, and my kids could have stayed longer if we didnt drag them out. The staff was very friendly and we loved the Lego decorations/exhibits. Recommend going as part of a larger road trip. This place is part of the Easton Town Centre and not a separate amusement park so plan accordingly.
Good place for kids to spend some time. They have two rides that both kids & adults can enjoy. There is also very nicely built LEGO models for showcase. Other than that a maze for small kids to climb and build a lego model to race area. Unfortunately, there is no one in the race area to guide the kids. May be some more rides and more clean lego build area might make it worth the price.
The venue is smaller than I expected and the two rides are short and already too young for a 9 year old. However the 7 and 9 year old boys did enjoy the play area with different levels. Surprisingly the only Lego items are are all in the shop apart from one clock tower and a couple of girls out in the open space. At $10-$15 it maybe worth a visit but at $25 a head it is way over priced. The 15 minute 4D movie was probably the best part of the experience. In whole pretty disappointing and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone with kids over 6
This place was really neat! Our party had quite a bit of issues finding their tickets that were ordered online and staff was more than patient and helpful. My boys are 8 and 10 and loved this. There is even a Starbucks in the middle! It took us about 2 hrs to get through.
We only visited the store/ gift shop area and Im so happy we did. We were assisted by Brick Rick and he was so nice to me and my children. He told my 6 year old to come back when he is 16 for a job and thats all he keeps talking about lol the world needs more Ricks! The Lego Store is lucky to have him. 💜
Ill give Legoland an it was okay rating. We did go on a VERY busy Saturday around 4pm. The lines for the rides were lengthy, and the rides themselves were incredibly short. The size of Legoland was definitely not what I was expecting, very small space. Overall, it was okay. My boys had fun for the hour they were entertained by it. We drove from Northern Cincinnati, an hour and a half, wouldnt be worth a long drive to visit.
Overall the quality of this place was alright.when i went to get food i stood in line for five minutes with two employees standing there.and it was packed, not much room to move. very hot, the slide area was very dirty. these two things were about the cleanest in the whole building. save your money, go to the zoo or something better
The family enjoyed the trip to the discovery center. The overall facility was smaller than expected but did pack a lot in the space they had. At times you could tell they were short staffed because certain things were not on time.4D shows are worth watching if you like those kinds of things. Suggest on busier days to line up when there is about 15 mins until the next show.
My kids have been begging to go to Lego Land in Florida but they were excited to find out that there is a discovery center in Columbus. We decided to take a weekend and visit. They absolutely loved it! Even my 9 month old enjoyed the attractions. Our only regret is buying tickets for 6 PM. We lost track of time and toward the end, attractions at the center started to close. We were still able to see mostlyeverything though. Definitely recommend if you have younger kids.
Save your money. This is wayyyy overpriced. Adults should not be charged. I’ve never been so disappointed in spending my money. No staff was in sight to offer assistance or direction. No maps or signs to inform you of what there is to offer either. The soft play and creative zones looked unkept and unclean. The line for both rides were not worth it. Also the guns for the carriage ride did not work properly. The place was overcrowded and underwhelming. My five year old was semi-impressed, but even my seven-year old was disappointed. We wouldn’t go back and won’t recommend for friends or family. This had the potential to be a really cool place. We were super bummed.
Not at all worth the money. Bought advanced tickets for a specific time thinking this was an intelligent management decision to limit the amount of people in the facility at one time. Not the case. The facility was very overcrowded. The children were two and three deep trying to get at the activity bins, none of which were filled with enough blocks to actually build anything. My grandchildren kept asking if I could get them some blocks, but there were no employees in the main area to offer any assistance and keep materials stocked. The wait in line for the rides was a 20 - 30 minutes, again due to the overcrowding.Save your money. Take your kids to the park and spend the money on Lego toys instead of this place.
One hour in line to get in, then $50 for one adult and a child and the only two mechanical attractions they have here (castle coaster and Merlyn’s Apprentice) we’re both closed. If it wasn’t for me having my daughter with me, I likely would have requested my money back. Unfortunately, they have you by the balls here to either look like an A-hole in front of your kids or just accept that you’ve been taken. Oh, $21 for two 20oz. Cokes and one PB&J with tiny “lunch box.”In summary, we spent $70 to play on an indoor jungle gym for less time than we stood in line.
SO DIRTY!We drove all the way from Cleveland to visit this location & was highly disappointed. There was no employees around to ask questions because the movies were running totally behind/wrong. It was a complete mess everywhere especially where you can build cars to race. The bathrooms were dirty & smelly. The kids climbing area was disgusting. Didnt look like it had been clean it probably months. Its really unfortunate because this could be a really neat place for kids.
Interesting place but definitely NOT worth the price of admission. In a great area with tons of shopping & restaurants. Save your money and go to those insteadBuyer beware if you visit the LEGO store that they price things incorrectly and wont honor the marked price. Purchased a set of LEGOs that was stickered at $30 but rang up $50. When I pointed out the error and that all the ones (of the same model) were priced at $30 the cashier just said yea they were marked wrong, do you still want it? Thats not the way a decent business should operate.UPDATE: added a second star as the management contacted me & apologized for the misunderstanding. They refunded the $20 difference, which was commendable. Hopefully the experience will be better for future folks should similar circumstances arise.
I purchased the ultimate ticket package for my children. When we got there the staff was very nice and helpful. However during our visit there was an issue with the fire alarm and we had to evacuate during our workshop hour. We stood in the parking garage for about a hour and kept getting told that they are working to make sure the place was safe for us to return but in the same sense was informed that there wasnt a fire, smoke, ect. A lot of people were asking for refunds and then were told that they dont do refunds. I dont think that is fair for people like myself that drove 3hrs from my hometown. I was given a card and was told to contact the GM for tickets for another day. I am in my last trimester and coming another day isnt a bad idea but very much inconvenient since Im so close to giving birth. I think if that would not have happened my children would have had a great time but the fact we were receiving the run around made the experience bad.
We wanted to take our twin boys here for a fun afternoon. Before paying well over a $100 for this afternoon experience we asked if we could have a tour to see what we were getting for our money.Unfortunately both employees said no, they dont do tours.Poor policy, made them lose our business.
It’s frustrating that you can’t see what exactly there is to do inside Legoland Columbus and that makes it feel a little on the scam side. They should not make the parents pay for admission. There are literally only 1-2 things that an adult can do, outside of helping their child with an activity. The play area had not monitor and so some kids were acting crazy and being dangerously aggressive. If my kids were any older, I feel like they would have been too old to be there. The kids said it was fun and I’m ok that we did it once but it definitely wasn’t worth the price. If the parents were free, I’d probably go back, but as is, I wouldn’t spend the money on going again.
It was our first time visiting, The kids had a good time I will say the online map made it look like it might be a larger entertainment venue but it was still fun nonetheless. The Lego activities were neat, the kids favorite was the vibration plate build area and the rides were simple but neat as well.I thought the Lego display area of the city would be larger as well and offer more to walk through and look at, but it was more so set up as a hallway to get to the other areas. Still an enjoyable time and I would recommend for someone really into Lego.
Came to google to see reviews and gather information since the website was lacking. After seeing all of the reviews, we have decided not to go, at least not right now. We recently moved to Ohio and Ive been searching for fun things to do with my 3 lego obsessed boys. 2 are neuro diverse and cant handle large crowds and are super particular about food. The timed entry had initially reassured me that it wouldnt be overcrowded, but reviews state otherwise. In addition, I do not see any recommended times for children who may be on the spectrum, nor can I find any list at all for cafe items, which is important when planning a trip, considering that youre not allowed to bring in outside food. Seems like we may be better finding somewhere with more to do if Ill be driving several hours to get there.
Found a good deal on tickets and it was the closest Legoland in the area, also copped tickets for a Saturday but dont take a trip to this place if you dont have some kid under the age of 17 with you though. friend and I was denied entry to this place because of that exact reason, no child with us. go on adult night tho where its literally the most inconvenient night of the week, a Wednesday to drive over and hour and a half. so if youre in your 20s and just wanted to take a trip to Legoland because you have a love for legos and wanted to enjoy yourself, do yourself a favor and have a kid first.
LegoLand Discovery Center Columbus, Oh is a great place to take the kids. If you purchase packages online you can get better deals!$! It is a little smaller than I imagined but kids love it and there are many educational activities. Great staff unfortunately the parking is confusing if you are not familiarized with Columbus.
If you’re looking for something to do for the kids this place is okay but really isn’t worth the money. The staff gave the impression of being inconvenienced when we approached. The attractions were minimal but were...One roller coaster 2mph - one movie theatre 4d (15 min video), a rotating Merlin ride which was closed, a caged fun area, and random LEGO sections for free build. Let’s not forget the most expensive part the food court! $8 for a kid meal. You can walk through the mini city and press buttons but it’s more of a museum like atmosphere. It captures the adults attention due to the sheer detail of this little city. The age range for the little city exceeds the 3-10 year old attention after about 2 min.The prices are through the roof for what you get. Paying extra to get the Lanier wasn’t worth it. Don’t waste the money - but if you’re coming here you want to spend lots, the whole idea behind the LEGO motto.
First time coming to any legoland. Expensive but I fully enjoyed myself as an adult and my kids loved every minute. They were very clean inside, and stocked up on all legos. Staff was very helpful and busy keeping each station clean. 2 roller coaster rides that were great for kids of all ages. A huge play area to let the kids burn some energy. A lot of lego building areas. And of course a 4D theater show.
Lets just get this out of the way... the entrance is in the mall! Other than the entrance being a little hard to find this place is awesome. My 8 and 5 year old had an absolute blast and they cannot wait to go back. The staff was very friendly, helpful and patient. We will definitely return!
Unlucky enough to be treated with a very unprofessional employee at the entrance. I wanted to see if they could renew my membership but D (she said it was her name) interpreted with the one finger gesture and not looking at me while saying said holdon holdon.... To shut me up and said I had 2 options. The second option is 74.99 and she said I had to get it today to lock in the price, but thats the full price anyway. I tried to ask her whats the difference and each time she asked back what chu mean before I could say the third word. I HAD to talk to the manager and she said she didnt recognize the name D. So I had to explain everything to her. We got one day pass rather than the year pass that day. I highly doubt we will come back again. Its just spending money to get insulted.
My 7 year old son is absolutely obsessed with legos and had been begging to go to Legoland. I finally decided to surprise him and make the 3 1/2 hr drive to Legoland one weekend. To say we had an absolute blast is an understatement! We spent about 3 hours inside doing all of the activities they had to offer.
I loved visiting LegoLand with my students! I actually visited with a child who used a wheelchair and it was completely accessible. She was able to ride all of the rides and every activity had more than enough space for her to participate and move around freely. The elevators and ramps were wide enough for her wheelchair. The only suggestion would be to the birthday party room- there is not a lot of space in there if you have groups larger than 10-15 people and there is not much space to move around.
Place was super neat but unfortunately the check in lady was extremely rude. They didnt want to show us a movie cause we were a little late but more like they wanted to clean up before they were even closed. My glasses for the movie which we watched after throwing a fit were not even clean. The glasses were smudged with someone elses makeup! Finally all bathrooms were out of soap!! Disgust was all i could think while there.
The best part was the 4D movie. The boys loved it. I think the price was a little high for what you do. You pay the same to go to Kings island. Do yourself a favor and find coupons. My little one was excited bc hes obsessed with Legos. I should get stock Ill say that. But it was only 1.5 hrs for $25 a piece. I feel like adults should be cheaper considering were there to supervise our children. I figure thats why theres a coupon pay for an adult get one child free. Otherwise take them to the one in Florida if you want the rides.
This very small version of legoland theme park I would say 1/10 of the bigger park. As it’s intended for small audiences who are Lego fans and have half day outings. They tried to accommodate all the aspect of big parks in a small way - park has rides, Lego creation, 4D theater, duplo park, cafe, Columbus downtown. It’s very good for 4+ age to upto 12 who loves to do legos. It’s good for half day outing and price is also decent. If you take year pass then it’s good only if you love LEGO’s otherswise it will be boring as it’s small.
This place has 15 minute 4D (3D plus spays water, fog and has lighting) Lego movies in the movie theater.Small 4 person ride with lazer lego guns to shoot at tagets and at characters on multiple screens.Has some nice huge displaysPlaces to build and race cars down two different tracks.Has a couple other areas that have sandbox type areas full of Legos to just be creative and build.A lot more than I expected.Oh also has a small circular ride (2 seater) that has petals and the faster you petal you hight you a lifting in the air.
Its not a bad place to go but Im not sure I agree that its worth $24. You have to really enjoy playing with Legos to have fun. There are 2 little rides, a climbing area, 10-15 short movies & a TON of Legos to play with. You can be done with everything in a couple of hours. Unfortunately some of areas close at 5pm & they say they close at 7pm but they dont sell tickets to get in after 5pm.
Being a lifetime LEGO fan and now having a child of my own to share the fun with we were really excited to hear a Discovery Center was coming to Columbus. We bought annual passes because it pretty much pays for itself after 2-3 visits. We’ve been a handful of times since the September opening. As expected, the weekends are pretty busy so I would suggest getting a ticket close to opening time. The front of the house/store staff couldn’t care less about you being there. **One thing to be aware of is that LEGOLAND Discovery Centers are not owned or operated by LEGO. They are ran by Merlin Entertainments, therefore, if you are a LEGO VIP member you will not receive any points or be able to use rewards in the shop. I would go to actual LEGO store outside by Jeni’s Ice Cream to purchase any sets. Plus, the staff is much friendlier and helpful.**
My son loves legos. He was in heaven here. Make sure you eat first because the snack shop inside is outrageously expensive. We took advantage of the BOGO tickets. It is not worth paying full price admission. This is a perfect rainy day activity. The 3D movie sprays out way too much water. We took advantage of one of the lego workshops. The young man leading was great. He was very patient with the kids. We went on a weekday, so we did not have any over crowning issues.
At LEGOLAND Discovery Columbus, grownups and children alike will find this to be a LEGO dream. From seeing how they are made to play stations and displays that truly capture Ohio in LEGOs to the ridiculously tall playground area (that I wish I could have played in!)... there is so much to explore. Our 5 and 7 year old children were busy for most of the day (10am til about 2pm). Great for a few hours of fun!
Great place for adults and kids alike. While it may be more kid focused, I was blown away by some of the displays here. Multiple levels with so many interactive games and activities. They even have a few rides inside. My daughter had a blast in the playground. Do yourself a favor and get your tickets In advance. It can get busy there very quickly.
We took our 6 year old for his birthday. He had an great time it’s just small. We got the 35.99 tickets which included the workshop we loved the workshop, but while we were in there Lego Santa came out. Of course all the kids in the workshop wanted to go see him. Our instructor promised us he would still be out there once we were done with workshop. No Lego Santa in site when we walked out. We walked all over the place. I even went back to the main entrance to ask if he was coming back out and no one knew. So the end of a wonderful day ended in tears. We wasn’t expecting a Santa but to do it in front of the workshop doors was poor planning.
Everything was fine until the last hour we were there when we went to do the workshop that came with our package and the employee with the short orange dyed hair told us to give her a minute leaves comes back asks us if we have a mask we didnt so she gives us one has a few words with my husband. She leaves gets a us a mask leaves again this time returning with a few other employees as the just stand there you can tell they are talking about us. She disappeared and another employee shuts the workshop room down. I had to go and ask an employee from the cafe to speak to the manager for someone to open the workshop so my children to build their kit, but I mean child because in the 45 mins we were waiting to go in my daughter misplaced her Lego kit, The orange hair girl still refused to go in the workshop with my son so another employee did so now while Im in the workshop with my son the orange hair girl and two other employees are standing over my husband and daughter watching them like dogs. All of this over a mask when there was multiple people not wearing a mask.
Would leave no star if I could. We paid for tickets me and my boyfriend and our friends because we wanted to see Lego land since we never got to see it before and they wouldnt let us in even though we paid for our tickets and were respectful (did nothing for them to not let us in). I dont see why they wouldnt let us enjoy legoland.
Lego land was a big surprise. It was a little costly $24.00 each + $5.00 for granddaughters little extra Lego suprise. The first 2 rooms were a disappointment. However it turned out to be big fun for the grandparents and the kids. Best for kids you can let go within sections. Like the ride. Or else you will be on your feet most of the time. Great place. Friendly staff.
I went yesterday with my son who is only 6 and it was crowded like crazy and The place was dirty and understaffed(there was only 3 people staff wise downstairs). I had to wait about 15mins to wait in line to get on the ride(which there is only 2 rides)and also had to wait about another 20mins waiting for someone to play the movie cause no one was there. Bless that sweet woman’s heart who was working in the cafe all by her self and had rude customers rushing her, she also was very polite(I tried to tip her but she told me there not aloud to accept tips which I think is stupid because she deserves it after dealing with all those rude people). Someone had to go ask her to call an associate to start the movie cause no one was there and she came over and smiled and helped us.Legoland needs to get there act together because $50 was not worth the whole experience.I won’t be coming back to this legoland ever again, Save your money and go somewhere else.
The place is very entertaining and all of the staff very friendly and polite, except the girl on the store counter, she was yawning all the time, didnt say hi, with her eyes half open and rude. Hey if you are partying all night make sure you dont work in a kids place. We couldnt get our pictures (that we wanted to buy because my family came from Cancun to take my son to legoland) but there was nobody at the picture counter. We waited for 25 min and nobody came. We love the place eventhough. Just wish they put more attention on those details.
Legoland is unique, and obviously in a class of its own. My family and I spend an afternoon here on a small trip to Columbus, and we liked it..but didnt love it. As everything in the current times - its way overpriced. Im not just trying to be conservative about money, but for my family at the time that we went (2 adults, 4 year-old, 3 year-old, 2 year-old, and a 5 month-old) it was $120-ish. Thats a bit much. Granted, its a unique experience, but with a couple thousand people going there just for a week theyve more than paid for the entire cost of the attraction. So, price is way too high. Experience and variety of ideas was great. Theres many things to do at varying levels of age. The time it takes to get through everything is also not worth the price. True, you could really stretch it out, but theres only so much attention to spend on one thing. Overall, we liked it, but probably wouldnt return very often due to price.
Our experience was above our expectations.- Every employee was enthusiastic with the childrens experience.- The entire facility was clean.- The Cafe staff upheld and maintained safety measures for food allergies. (They handled it, while being courteous.)- The staff announced and maintained times, without delays, for shows and Master Builder instruction/competition.- There was a hiccup - on my part - coordinating times on the website. After a quick phone call, the staff helped fix the issue. For the kiddos, they loved every aspect. Thanks for a great experience!
Loved Legoland, did not love the employees. I felt like 90% of them acted put out to answer a question that was asked. Only 2 of them seemed like they actually enjoyed their job, the rest were all annoyed to be there. Our scheduled time was their 10 oclock opening...while we arrived 15 minutes early as instructed and waited to get in, the employees all stood around talking while there was visible dirt and Legos on the floor of the gift shop that needed to be swept up. I come from the philosophy: if you have time to lean, you have time to clean. That apparently doesnt apply to this company. The real life city was neat...especially the house from A Christmas Story. The boys got to take a master build class where someone showed you how to make a viking ship using a document camera, it was easy to follow along while watching the screen. Just wish the employees were a little more happy and bubbly instead of annoyed and angry.
Disappointed to say the least, definitely not worth the price of admission. We took our 4.5 year old and 2.5 year old today. The only employee to actually interact with us was the girl at the entrance who was awesome(only reason this is getting 2 stars). We were expecting a lot more today. Half of the interactive buttons in mini land didn’t work. The Merlin ride was down. The only thing my kids seemed to enjoy was the play area at the end. Underwhelmed to say the least, especially at that price.
Legoland was a blast! Lots of fun activities and a couple rides! Depending on your ticket you can get additional acitivies and do a mini-build. The only real complaint is that some areas look like they could use a scrub down and some of the Legos set out for activities are in need of some cleaning as well. Just a note that adults must have a child with them under 17 to enter.
The idea has potential, but it was overpriced. You get a small bag of Legos to play with and it just doesnt inspire much creativity. If you are like us and prefer to not wear a mask then this place is not for you. They are like mask police, and limit where you can eat and even drink. Got kids you wanna keep an eye on while drinking your Starbucks? Too bad, they will not let you. Some people may like their mask policy, and feel differently. All in all, my 2 star rating was for the price vs. Quality of service.
Enjoyable for kids but definitely not sure of the price point. Im sure it cost a lot to run and maintain such a large facility, I just feel like it needs to be more spread out with more places for photo opportunities without bumping into the next family. The 2 rides were perfect for small ages. I would have liked to see more sanitizer stations throughout the facility as well but for the time we were there we used it when we seen it and also used our own. The little 4 d movie was cute, an enjoyable little break from the crowded play areas was nice for a few minutes. Loved the water effects! Recommended for something to do for a day trip in Columbus, Ohio.
My kids had a great time, BUT for the cost, i thought there was going to be much more to do. For the cost of an all day Kings island Trip. i thought there would be more. And the merlin ride was broken... maybe a disocunt would suffice for a day like that. plus we drove 2 hours to see it. Again, the kids had a wonderful couple of hours.
We went this past weekend and were very disappointed. When checking in the employee was rude and set the tone for our whole visit. The family restrooms were out of toilet paper. All the interactive buttons on the city were not working. When checking in downstairs there is a sign that says please wait, no one ever came. In fact, there was no employees in sight, only two at the cafe. The place was dirty. The floors had smashed food all over and none of the tables have been wiped down. I think if the facility was managed better it would be worth the money, otherwise you would be better at Cosi.
My 4 year old grandson loved this place so much, his mother bought a pass..The movie was great, but the effects was awesome, the wind & water mist was a treat! So much to do there, all the kids there, the expressions on their faces was priceless! The only bad thing is, that you lost track of time and it was time to go
Was very disappointed in the no mask wearing children during this pandemic. There were no characters dressed up walking around. No cleaning of the areas after parents and kids were touching EVERYTHING except for the chariot ride. Had I not driven 3 hours to bring my granddaughter here, I would have turned around and left.
This was our first trip to Legoland Columbus, however our second Legoland trip (first went to the one in Boston). The staff here was very nice and friendly. We paid extra for the kids to do the build with the instructor and they had fun. One of the kids we were with a was deaf and when we let her know she brought the build with her to better communicate with him which I greatly appreciated. The overall feel was very clean and well maintained and all the kids had a lot of fun. We will most certainly be coming back!
Lego land was amazing, 2 hours of a lot of fun. 9 year old boy had a blast.. the food however, absolutely terrible!!! Chicken tenders, grilled cheese and pep pizza were inedible.. waited over half hour for soggy, disgusting food.... with as amazing as the place is, it’s an embarrassment to serve people such garbage food.... put in a vending machine and close the “kitchen”...
The area is great, but is durty in a lot of areas. Maybe not enough people to do everything. I feel bad for the employees that is always rushing to do all. The wait at the entrance is ALWAYS LONG. I wish things were easier and more enjoyable there. Just the little details to make a little more fun for everyone.
We decided to provide a surprise birthday trip to LEGOLAND for our granddaughter. She enjoys building and narrating Heartlake FRIENDS, so this is a natural! Throughout our time she kept saying this is THE BEST birthday gift.... Sweet child! We purchased the additional kit that is a nice LEGO lanyard, has cards attached for activities on site and at home. I was a little confused at first- wish they were numbered not just labeled with themes. There are varied theme areas with building, fun, and wondered. Contests are held, two rides (our girl really enjoyed Merlin that uses people pedal power such a nice change). Cars cans be built and raced, and theres a not to be missed 4D Movie. The targeted ages are basically 7-12; the younger set has the DUPLO blocks. The ages can probably stretch to 14 if they are still into building.I, personally, was impressed with the environment and variety of activities. I had almost as much fun as our girl did.Worth the price... Tho I originally thought it would not be.Fun memory we made today.... Enthusiastic helpful staff. This was a mid-week visit.
Nice experience. My daughter is 9 and is obsessed with legos. She enjoyed this quite a bit. The rides were cute but if she had been any older she probably would not have liked them. She loves the lego friends and wished there was more of them. The place was smaller than I thought it would be. If you can get a deal on Groupon or a sale, it is worth it. I would not pay full price. We were there a few hours but you can go to the zoo or other fun places for less. Overall it was good but not great. Doubt we will go back again unless we can get a big discount.
We had SO much fun visiting with my four year old who LOVES Ninjago! The rides, activities, 4D Movie -- it was all so cool! The staff was great all around but I have to say that Dottie left an impression on my son that he cannot stop talking about! She went above and BEYOND to make sure to put a smile on his face and really made our visit more than we could have imagined! Thank you so much Dottie, my son could not wait to come home and show off his lanyard with his special pirate pin from (in his words) my new friend that lives in LegoLand!Thank you Dottie!! We cant wait to come back! :)
Was very disappointed! They were understaffed and overcrowded. One of the rides was only maned by 1 person and it took him over 5 minutes to clean the ride between each ride. One of the other rides had 2 workers yet neither one cleaned the rides after each rider and the laser guns were broken. The bathroom was dirty like not just with toilet paper all over the floor but with dirt and scum around the base of the floors/wall. Then at the 4D cinema, the worker started the movie and then left and never came back when it was over to let those of us in line waiting for the next showing to be let in. We had to wait an additional 15 minutes before anyone came to let us in and that was only after another parent in line went to go get them. The sandwich I bought from the cafe for my son was stale and they wouldn’t issue a refund. Again , for the money we paid it was a major disappointment!
Overall it was a fun experience for our toddler grandson. However the facility was dirty, many adults and youths were not wearing masks, supervisors and/or managers were no where to be found should you need assistance or have questions and the store at the exit was barely stocked with merchandise. Besides the two rides and the one person cleaning bags of legos, there was no one insight cleaning the facility.
Just a cluster.First of all the entrance is in through the mall, that would have been good to know before I drive 3 hours to get here.Second no structure. If you think the kids will be guided through anything you are mistaken. It’s a free for all. Not much better that a Mcdonalds play land. The rules are posted, but no one enforced them, so basically that means no rules. Certainly not worth 25 per kid. I didn’t get upset until the older kids( I would guess about nine) started playing in the toddler area.I did not see a single lego character in costume.Third, The cafe is a joke. 1 dollar pizzas is your only choice, and they charge 6$ each.Fourth, this is Not a stroller friendly place, stairs are everywhere and you have to find a away around to get where you need to go, if you can find where you need to go. When you are on the rides, there is no one watching anything, but they are kind enough to put up sign saying they are not responsible for theft.Fifth, as for the treasure hunt, go ahead and spend 5 per kid for a pack of stickers.Sixth and Finally we get to the shopping area at the end of ‘adventure’ and the kids pick out $180 worth of legos and the cashier tells me “ sorry we are not accepting cash,” even though I have the exact amount. This placed is understaffed. It shows in the quality of the experience. It’s sad really, because I think it could have been great. Not happy. Not worth the money.Certainly not worth a trip from out of town.I will not be back.
The ride and mini city were really fun and interesting. Other than that, I felt like it was a bit overpriced to sit and play with Legos. We took a 10 year old and she was probably a couple years older than the target age group. Overall, it was fun to visit once, but Im not sure well be back.
We were pretty disappointed... We bought our tickets ahead of time and were never notified that the Kingdom Quest ride was down. No one told us when we got there either. There isnt a lot to see there anyway and so when multiple things were closed, it seemed like a total rip-off. Definitely not worth the money.
I read the reviews and honestly should of listened to them. If it was more than $25 we would of been more upset. The mini lego area where the legos should move were all broken, the area where you can build stuff with Legos had very few chairs we saw multiple parties having to sit on the floor to build stuff. The rides were nice, the play jungle area needs redone and the swinging items need taken down we saw many kids run into each other because they were on opposite sides of the object and couldn’t see the other child. We were done within 90 minutes.....drove 3 hours. The only saving Grace to the trip was Easton is beautiful and we got to shop at stores we don’t usually get to. So save your money and go to Cosi or somewhere worth while because this is not.
This place is fun. Great for the kids. Though it isnt toddler safe! They have a cute little toddler zone yet my daught fell and gashed her head open and was rushed to the ER, shes 2½. I would highly recommend a better safety area for toddlers. Staff did handle it ok but not the way they should have. But the manager was friendly and helped.
More things to do for kids, and hands-on kids, particularly. Some activities bring out the competitive nature in building and design. Little to no supervision and assistance from employees in the main interaction areas (Lego Juniors, stop-motion movies, build towers and cars).
Very disappointed. Legoland is located inside the mall and needs many updates and remodeling. My 10 year old grandson did enjoy the area to build and race a lego derby car but that area could have been much better with organization and more staff (oh yeah nobody wants to work anymore) Overall I would say age appropriate for preschool to age 8. Take handsanitizer .
Was looking forward to visiting during my visit to Columbus since I’m a huge lego nerd. But I wasn’t allowed to go in because I don’t have a kid. Obviously I wouldn’t participate in the activities for young kids but I really wanted to check out the multiple things for adults such as mini land USA and the factory tour. This kind of ageism is old fashioned and disappointing. I frequently visit my local museum of play which has a similar concept and have NEVER had an issue. The one thing we all do is grow older but that doesn’t mean we don’t still want to have fun.
My boys LOVE this place. We can spend the entire day there just creating and racing cars! We love Miniland and its different every time we go. The last time we went we took my nephew and he had a blast. Its great to see them having so much fun. Its even better when you can join in too!!
This place has gone way downhill. It was visibly dirty: scuff marks everywhere, chipping paint, dirty surfaces. Many of the features on the Lego town were not working. The whole place smelled like feet. There were Legos everywhere in the race track area, including all over the floor. There were barely any employees around and those that were there were doing the bare minimum. Very disappointed.
Legoland was a pretty fun place to be at. All of the exhibits were really cool to look at, and they kept all the rides open and sanitized. When you go down to the play area, you can get a bag of legos to play with, and those are yours until youre done. The shop was amazing, with lots of cool sets, and with them limiting the number of people in there. The only downside was that it was almost completely booked for the day, so we almost didnt get in. If you are going to visit LegoLand, make sure you book a day beforehand.
First time there, sadly no one took the time to explain it or even give us our bag of Legos after more than 1.5 hours and us roaming aimlessly my kids were given Legos to build with. The buildand test area was a disaster Legos all over the floor all day never did we see one person Clean them up and adults were stepping on them and almost falling. It was very expensive for what it was and in each area not everything was working even the display lights on mini lego land. Also in minilego land half of the push buttons to animate things werent working.
Plenty to do if kids are the right ages. My two daughters 2&5 love it. Annual pass is the way to go cheaper than 3 visits. Edit: food has really improved lately more options and better quality. Also, greatly improved cleaning and rule enforcement. Very much appreciated
My grandson (7 y.o.) had a GREAT day! I pre-purchased tickets for a specific day and time, which I would definitely recommend doing. The employees were very helpful and nice. The 4D movie experience (you can see 3 different movies throughout the day - about 15 minutes each) was pretty cool. My only complaint is about the car racing area. Youre supposed to build your own car and race it down different inclines. There were just not enough wheels/tires/axles provided for the amount of children there. Adults were scouring the area just to find 4 matching wheels for their kids cars. They should really provide a LOT more car-specific parts in this area. There was a nice cafe with Starbucks and snacks. Overall it was an awesome experience.
I really wanted to give this place a much higher review, but I cant. Its Sunday hours are 12-6 p.m., with last admission at 4:30 p.m. We bought tickets to arrive at 4 p.m., after my sons nap. Unfortunately, by 5 p.m., the employees were cleaning up all of the legos in the areas we were trying to play and shutting the areas down! There were numerous areas we wanted to play because they looked like fun, but never got the chance because they were already inaccessible by 5 p.m. It was kinda obvious what was on the employees minds when they started picking up the legos right behind us as we did activities. So we left -- after paying $25 bucks a person for an hour of play and about 50% of the options to participate in. Not doing that again. Talk about making a parent feel uncomfortable...The weird part is that there was a ton of people still there, all feeling forced out an hour before closing. So beware - dont expect the full experience if you are close to closing time. I would shave an hour off of your expectation.
It was alright... while on vacation with family we wanted to stop by there and take our kids in and have a ball with it.. well the first part where you come in was fun, get passed the beginning and it was just full, so the kids passed on the building stage where you can make cars or buildings and went to to play pen to climb and play with other kids =) saw the 15-20 minute 4 D movie where we got wet, that was rather fun =D came out to build some cars to see how theyd do going down the ramp, we needed work lol, the twins liked building structures... overall it was good
It’s very fun for the kids, but way overpriced. I was able to take my son and wife just because my company offer employees discount for LEGOLAND. I believe 75$ for the three of us without discount is pricy. The activities inside are very fun to the kids, he had fun playing and building lego stuff.
We absolutely loved it here! Worth the money if you have kids into legos we have 9 year old girl 5 year old boy and a 18 month old they all had fun. All attractions were open and the staff was so friendly. There was plenty of cleaning going on and hand sanitizer stations throughout.
It was an amazing day trip. Employees we very nice and helpful. Kids had a blast. There is plenty to do and you can spends a few hours here. Kind of nice that it is in a mall. So if you want to go shopping after you can. Crowd was not bad for a saturday afternoon. Parking was easy. Great experience.
4D cinema was the best part of the trip but we were only able to catch one of them. The shows are every 30 minutes with different movies showing, so if you want to do other things you have to pick which movie and time you will go. One ride and the play set was shut down, nothing on the website about that or told to us when we arrived, would have been nice to know. Plenty of areas for the kids to play with their Legos and a nice race area to race cars you build. Went to the store after and the Legos were decently priced. We bought two of the smaller sets for our 4 and 5 year old. The entrance is inside the mall so take that into consideration when timing your trip.
You know, I thought it would be different. Some of the attractions were closed (understandable due to Covid) but then they had all these kids just playing with Legos everywhere, no chance for them to be cleaned or sanitized. They didnt seem to follow the social distancing guideline very well. Still super fun and awesome to see all the Lego structures!
It was fun for the kiddos but not a great variety of activities. In addition there is little to attract the parents so the $24 price tag per person was a little high but I dont regret paying it. Probably wont go back but might be worth seeing if you have a few hours to kill. One nice thing about it is the rides and movies are included in the price and you can go on them as much as you want
Id say it was ok. Not very memorable but possibly worth a visit. The kids (11and 8) were definitely on the older end but they still enjoyed some of the activities like the initial laser ride (which was kinda short) and the build and test area. Also the 4d movie was enjoyable
Im gonna give it 3 stars because 1 they didnt have any high chairs or booster seats in the whole place? Where are you suppose to take a lil break with small kids? Since its a place geared towards I found that kinda odd. Also when we went to leave my granddaughter had picked out a special Lego set, however they wouldnt accept cash to pay for it!?? Like I get were getting out of a pandemic but why not accept cash? You have to touch my credit card same as my cash. And besides since when is cash accepted seems illegal to not take a legal tender? And other than that it was ok defiantly glad I scored 17.00 tickets off groupon otherwise i think it would have been over priced.
Legoland was pretty fun, however I had assumed there was more to it than what it was. We did attend each station including the 4D movie, rides, coffee shop, and the Lego center to create them. I just wished there was a little more to do for the price it cost to attend... but overall positive experience.
This place is definitely not worth the money at $50 per person. The entire place is dirty. The play areas look like they have never been cleaned. Pretty disappointed. There are minimal things for children to do and its actually made out to me much better than it is. Will not be back.
My son loved this place! I think the price is too high. I understand charging full price for the kids who want to play here, but charging me $24 just to watch him play is way too much. I spent enough in the gift shop as it was.I was also disappointed in the food selection. I assumed there would be lunches to buy but only found snack items. If they have lunch food here they were fresh out on the day of my visit.
Very very overpriced. Very little for children to do other than build with LEGOs, which they can do at home. Two smaller “rides” at no additional cost. No food offered other than coffee and other drinks. Staff were very friendly. Covid precautions were adhered to by most. Felt safe taking my family.
HIT OR MISS.As a mother of 2 I was super excited about this place. There’s a lot of things to do for kids of all ages; which makes it amazing for me.The staff is hot or cold, no in between. You either get AMAZING employees like Michael and Jenna or terrible ones that I don’t have names for.The rides are also hit or miss, they may or may not be working on your visit or they may be shut down due to staffing.I have been okay not leaving reviews until I recently became irritated when I was denied entry after 5 o’clock on a Thursday. I know, the website says last admission at 5. My 2 y.o. Was crying, kicking, screaming. I practically begged just to be let inside the waiting area by the bathroom so he can see and was given a hard no. I wrote into them online to ask them to consider opening after 5 for working families and I was told annual pass holders can enter until closing. I want to feel relieved, but I’m feeling more angry that all this time we have been denied entry after 5. I will say Jenna definitely addresses my concerns and tried to make it right, but the damage is done. There’s a lot of opportunity to train the staff to make this an enjoyable experience worth the money. We won’t be renewing our passes.Pros:•2 fun rides•workshop•jungle gym•4D movies•MichaelCons:•Can get crowded (to be expected)•Parents don’t always supervise their children (especially in the car racing area and jungle gym)•Expect a ride or 2 to not work•Not Michael
We went for our sons 5th birthday as thats what he wanted instead of a party (about 3.5 hours from home). It was well worth it! The staff were friendly and helpful. Everything was very clean and well taken care of. We are already thinking of a trip back to Columbus, and spending another day at Legoland.
Legoland in Columbus is a very nice and fun place. Ignore the negative reviews. We used to go during the week, to avoid crowds.Unfortunately, we will not be going there any time soon because of their mask policy for kids. In Ohio kids under 10 are not required to wear masks, so Legoland, please change the age limit. Thank you.For the customer complaining about kids without masks, maybe you should stay home if you are so afraid from kids; and expect that everywhere you go people, including kids, will be wearing masks to protect you. Take responsibility for your wants and dont rely on others.
We took our 5 year old nephew on a Saturday afternoon and it was much too crowded for him to enjoy the building areas. The two rides werent worth the long lines that we had to stand in. The 4D movie was a cool experience and the climbing gym was entertaining for young kids. We expected more for the price we paid. COSI is comparable in price and offers so much more!
Its a little pricey, but thats to be expected with Lego. There are 3 themed building stations, 2 rides, a 4-D theater, and an indoor playground. The cafe has sandwiches and snacks. There is also a party room if you have an extra $1200 laying around. The kids will definitely have fun. I would definitely recommend a yearly pass if youre going to visit a few times a year.
We love the idea but were a little disappointed. The play area is set up so you cant really watch your littles(even though the rules state to keep an eye on them). The build area was so packed you could not even begin to find what you needed to build a car let alone race one. Im sure its better on a weekday but it was just way to crowded too keep an eye on my kids even in such a small area. I thought the price was too high for what you get. I hope there will be rotating exhibits because I can see it becoming very stale if not.
My five year old loved it. She read 15 books in order to go!! She kept bugging us about it, begging to go. We were supposed to go as a family, all five of us but the other two were taking their time aquiring their 15 books. So we just went ahead and took her.I would not take my eight or nine year old, and Im glad we didnt. Im afraid they would think it was boring. Even with the two rides and the movie. Was it worth the $50 (that was AFTER the $30 coupon!!) for two adults and a five year old? I mean, I love seeing my kid happy, so in that case, yes... I think it was good one time experience. Honestly, one parent could have went and we could have saved $14.Will we be back? Not without a discount!I think $15/kid and like, $7/parent is more reasonable...If they had something like $10 Tuesday where everyone is $10 then I could see us visiting a few more times.Otherwise, I think for that kind of money, well go have another experience somewhere else.
Good place to spend a fun day with family .... two things come to my mind ... if the play area which themed police station and fire station was allowed to specific age because there were young kids and big kids togather running some of them pushing ... and it is difficult as a parent to see all the area because it is on the corner and there are many corner we cant see our kids what they are doingthe other thing food is so much expensive and not organized at all .. staff doesnt know whats happenning and what they have no clear menu and no prices tag ... the name / ingredients of sandwiches is written in so small letter difficult to readcheese sandwich in Starbucks is delicious and bigger and cheaper than in lego coffeeimagine this food in the picure costs 20$ and nothing special at all
Very dissapointed when charged to accompany your kids. The set up needs to be redesigned, at best I would classify the experience as to being at a giant Mc Donalds playground and my kids can play their for free. Some aspects were very cool like the whole Lego City, however the first room is confusing and doesnt really have a great first impression. I feel the overall layout needs to be re evaluated. I paid $75 to watch my kids play on the playground. You wont get my money again.
First time here with our 3 year old son & there was so much for him to do. Lots of different stations. The 2 rides they have were very neat. The jungle gym area is great, probably my sons favorite part! Definitely a BIG win for him! As adults we didnt find the cafe to be very great as they only sold pizza, muffins and a couple chips and drinks..could definitely have more of a selection. The price for a yearly pass is worth it but daily admission should be changed as adults dont really do much except watch their kiddos play and build some legos with them. Other than that I highly recommend this place for the little ones, very fun!
Fun if you want to kill like an hour and a half, they have 2 little rides that last 3 minutes each, one movie that is in 4d that last 15 minutes, a build area and a jungle gym. For what you get the price is not worth it!I spent 120$ for 3 kids and 2 adults, definitely not going back at those prices
Kids had a great time, crowded on holiday break as expected, so kids didnt get a chance to try out the rides. Actually, we all did the shooting adventure upstairs. I was thinking of the carnival rides below. We found an unexpected souvenir from there and mailed it back. The staff was so nice to send a hand signed thank you note back 😊
We wanted to love it. But it was a terrible experience.I made a big mistake and we went on a Saturday. Our last two visits to Easton on a weekend have been awful. Traffic is beyond horrible, parking is challenging, and everything is incredibly crowded. The same was true this weekend when we visited LEGOland for the first time. When we arrived 5 minutes before our scheduled time, we found a long line of others waiting to get in. At the designated time we were ushered into a holding area where they were taking pictures. This took a while and a lot of us were getting frustrated. Then we moved inside and almost immediately I was surprised by the long lines for everything. We waited in line for 30 minutes for the first ride then went further into the discovery center where we saw some cool things but had such a hard time wading through the crowd that it really ruined the experience. My daughter was looking forward to the huge playground but it was so packed she was scared and overwhelmed. When I say “crowded,” I mean it was shoulder to shoulder people all throughout. We were having a really difficult time even figuring out where the lines began because it was just a mass of people standing all around with no direction from any staff. We stayed for 1 hour and that included the 30 minutes of waiting in line for one ride. We left because it was so chaotic, miserable, and crowded to a scary level.I am so extremely disappointed. I basically threw away $45.
Me and my family had a lovely time. We drove 2 hours from Cleveland Ohio. The kids really seemed to enjoy the rides and playhouse. But I must say, that an employer by the name of Ashley. Made it that much more enjoyable. She was nice and accommodating. I would recommend.
Such a fun place with great potential but SO loud. The sounds were overwhelming, especially for younger children. My two year old nephew would have loved the multi-story playground but instead of being bright and cheery it was darkly lit with constant loud siren noises and flashing lights. It was more like a haunted house for children than a playground!
Luckily I had coupons to get our 2 kids in free. Otherwise it would have cost us around$100.00 for a family of four. There was not much to do and out of the 2 rides they offered, one was shut down. We were told this after we paid. We were there for about an hour and a half. I feel like our money could have been spent better. The staff was not very friendly and didn’t explain anything. We will never visit again. Such a huge disappointment.
Great day trip for young Lego obsessed kids. Offers a good range of activities. It wasnt crowded at all when we went on a Sunday morning. The only reasons I didnt give it 5 stars: bathrooms were hard to locate/get back to after you passed them, and the food was a bit overpriced but it always is with kids attractions!
Took my 3 and 5 year old boys to a birthday party here today and they LOVED it. Indoor playground, 2 rides, multiple building areas and a movie theatre. A few tips:- be sure not to miss the ride on the top floor, which is easy to miss. It’s an interactive ride where you have to save a princess. I think many people don’t know about it b/c there was no line.- avoid going on the weekend. Yikes.- seemed like prices were higher in their store as compared to the Lego store over by Jenis ice cream.Overall we enjoyed it and I think its an awesome addition to Columbus!
This place was such a gem for my lego loving kids! Its not a huge space but there is definitely enough to keep your kiddos attention for most of the day. We went in right as they opened and stayed for about 4 hours, then went into the mall for a bit, and returned for a few more hours. (Be sure to get your hands stamped if you plan to go back in!)Highlights: The little movie theater with 15 min long 4D films, water and air spray down on you, and my kids loved the 3D glasses. The huge play gym area! The 2 rides, we rode them both twice, definitely fun and cute! The car building area and earthquake shake tables kept us busy for a long time.We loved going into the lego displays and pressing all the buttons that brought them to life.
We visited in September 2019. It was a good day out for kids but extremely pricey ($25) for the small play area with just 4-5 kid attractions. Specially considering if both parents are accompanying the child (additional $25 each), when there is absolutely nothing in there for adults. Really bad cafe food. I ordered ours and it wasnt cooked at all (still frozen). So I handed it back only for them to burn it from outside whole still frozen in the center. They offered me a refund but it took ages for the manager to arrive and process the refund. However, she later did come back and apologised again for the service.
The place great and I like the attention and care they have taken during the pandemic. The only unfortunate thing that happened with the employee at the cafe who charged the same price for the meal pack without the sandwich and didn’t say it could be replaced with another main meal item that was offered to the family after us.
We went today for the first (and probably last) time. I really wanted to like it. You walk in, watch a video, then youre let into the factory what they dont tell you is the first attraction is some ride. We waited in line for 45 mins not knowing we could skip that line and go right in.My kids had a blast, but it isnt a place where they would ever say lets go back.It was small and cramped and smelled like farts and cheese. The cafe was super busy and they only had one person working. .Over all. This was a fun experience for the kids. How ever. The price is outrageous. 24 dollars per person no matter the age.
For what it is, its nice. Theres not a ton to do. You have to really like building with legos to appreciate going their for the building areas. Besides that, 2 short rides, a kids play area, and a 10 minute 4D movie. Thats really it. If your kids are maybe 6-10 and love legos, theyll love it. Its very overpriced at full price. I do see deals often and we went on a half price deal. I wouldnt go again at full price. The flow is also awkward. It doesnt feel natural the way its set up to go through. Personnel were all very nice.
Tricky to get inside. My Onstar took me to basicly the Mall which I did not know Legoland was inside of. Great stores outside made me think it was a outside mall but I stop to ask and here I was to enter these doors that didnt say Legoland or mall. I am definitely cautious traveling with a 4year old. That info would of been helpful but nevertheless my son had a blast!
Legoland at Easton seems to be ran by teenagers who truly do not care to enhance the experience of the children who come to play. They barely engaged with myself and children as we enters the rides and seemed to be caught up in their own discussions. At one point, I went to ask an employee a question, and I was ignored. He then left, so I am assuming his shift had ended but he had to finish a conversation with his fellow colleagues. The 2 stars were given for how large legoland is and all the fun and creativity there is hidden inside.I will say, I am not sure how often the facility is cleaned. It seemed rather messy and had a not so pleasant smell in some areas. I am aware of it being a play area for children and all the wonderful germs that come along, but other child attractions we have been to seem to be more proactive with cleanliness. My children caught a nasty stomach bug shortly after playing at legoland. It was not food poisoning, and I can’t imagine where else they would have caught it.I was hoping for a more pleasant experience and to make it a weekly event.
Paid $42.00 for my husband myself and almost 3 year old. The best part was the play place. The employees looked miserable. Honestly if I had to listen to that music for 8 hrs I would be miserable too. Worth going once and that’s about it. Unless your kids are LEGO crazy.
Went on a Sunday Afternoon. 4 kids aged 2, 3, 7, & 10 years old. All 4 children had a fantastic time. From building and racing their own cars (oldest favorite spot) to riding the 2 interactive rides we as a family of 7 have no complaints. Not even a price complaint. For 21$ (online preorder) you truely get your moneys worth and then some. Hours and hours of play. Will be back. And even thinkimg of the yearly pass for us.
I have mixed feelings about Legoland Columbus. During the week when it’s not super busy, it’s great. My 17 month old, 3 year old, and 5 year old have a blast! However, the last two times we’ve gone, it’s been on a Friday (because my 5 year old has Fridays off from preschool). It has been an absolute zoo on those two days! I wouldn’t dare try to go on a weekend. If I had paid general admission today (we’re members), I might have been bold enough to ask for my money back. It was so over-crowded. There’s no staff regulating the areas so the car building station and the jungle gym area were almost hazardous. Limiting the number of people may help with this? It has also been filthy the last few times I’ve gone. I believe the regular staff cleans, but I think it would be beneficial to have an actual cleaning staff. We had to leave after only 45 minutes today bc it was pure chaos, which is unfortunate because it takes us 35 minutes to drive there. I honestly don’t know if I’ll go back even though we paid for 4 annual memberships. It’s just been a really poor experience the last two times we’ve gone.
We did not heed others’ advice to visit during a weekday (just couldn’t swing it w/ our schedules); however, we did organize our visit to arrive as soon as they opened on a Sunday. It was great for the first hour or so and then the entire place was packed. My advice is to arrive early, make your way through maze with a purpose. Definitely enjoy the trip through the center before you get to the larger area where everyone gathers, but don’t sit for too long in any one area. Then, once you arrive in the larger area with places to build, go ahead and skip building until the kids have had a chance to ride the ride (lines gather quickly). After you ride, I’d recommend you go to either the racing area or the movie because both get packed fairly quickly as you get closer to 11am or 12pm.Finally, after your children have had a chance to explore the entire place, and if they still want to do more, THEN build. The areas to build (specifically the Friends and Duplo areas) did not get busy at all while we were there. Plus, if your kids get worn out before they get a chance to build, just buy a Lego set in the store as you exit and they can play/build in the comfort of your home. We’re not ready for a membership just yet, but it would take the pressure of doing as much as possible in one visit off our shoulders. I just don’t honestly know if it’s worth the membership price, imo. That said, our three and six year old enjoyed the entire experience. Also, while we bought the Activity Pack for $5 each, its really more of a souvenir to look at afterwards than something our kids wanted to do while there.

2022-06-05This place was pretty cool. We went here for family day and the kids had a blast. We chose the ultimate package which included a Lego building workshop and 2 free mini take home Lego kits and a lanyard with an activity pack. It’s a little pricey but the kids enjoyed it. It has several stations to visit and a cafe. The only thing I didn’t really care for was the 4D movie the objects in the movie didn’t really appear to jump out of the screen there was a video online that shows that you could sort of interact with the 4D movie and we didn’t get that experience. Overall it was a good experience. We might visit in a couple years just so my two-year-old can experience it the way my older two kids did.

2022-06-29Get your tickets online early. Make sure you get the ticket level that offers the class. The staff were nice and as helpful as they could be. The guy that did our builder class was awesome. I wish I could remember his name.

2022-06-19Pretty cool place worth a visit. We went over memorial day weekend and crowds were not bad. The merlin quest ride is super fun and rivals any good amusement park. The mini land is quite cool with some interactive items such as boat races and other fun buttons. The playground is huge and our kids had a blast. The 4d theater is fun and has multiple different shows thrououggt they day. In all, lots of fun, but a bit small overall.

2022-04-21Great place for little ones! Has a lot of interaction kiosks to play with, 2 rides one for young kids and one probably 5+ of age. Has a few build yourself lego areas, 2 playgrounds in it and a build workshop. If you plan on visiting more than once a year, you might as well buy annual pass to save yourself money!

2021-07-18Short summary: It is only okay... Not really worth the money or an extended drive. Admittedly the opinions of my children will be vastly different than my own. Of course they do not take into account that Columbus is 2.5 hours away nor that we paid nearly $150 for what amounted to little more than a couple hours entertainment... Maybe three hours? My kids had fun and enjoyed every moment they were there. My wife and I though were disappointed with the size of the place and number of activities for the price. I had taken a look at the website but didnt grasp how small the place was, and when chock full of children how little there is to do to spread around. The main floor attraction was also closed which was frustrating. If you live in the area then obviously the drive time is of no consequence. If this is a drive for you then be sure to plan something else because this is not an all day adventure... At least not for us considering our own Lego collection. We were expecting larger more interesting theme rooms and activities. The themed building bins were very low and some empty. The 4D cinema is pretty cool. They have a guided build activity but that costs extra... Which is BS in my opinion as the price for this should be no more than $20 a head... And maybe even $16 or $17. My opinion would be vastly improved at that price point. We have been thinking about planning a trip to the actual Logoland but this experience gives us pause as I fear a similar value proposition. One could debate the value proposition if Lego in general but it is what it is and uniquely positioned in the toy marketplace. But this attraction is probably nothing more than a side note to the Lego organization and books and should NOT be a cash grab attempt.

2021-11-28Great place to take kids for a day out. Rides, games and 4D movie theater are just a few things they have. I do wish they would change out a few of the larger displays for more frequent visitors to experience.

2021-11-19Legoland was a blast. My 5 year old absolutely loved Legoland, went spent about 4 hours & we enjoyed our visit. I must say I would go back whenever I’m in Ohio.

2021-07-14The front personal were friendly, while the ones in the back and in the Cafe acted like theyd rather be somewhere else. It is a nice family experience, but definitely could be cleaner with the RRs and walls. They do a 5 🌟 job cleaning the rides. The food is all pre-made, but decent. Play area is very large and fun for kids. The staff dont do a good job letting you know about the shows and crafts. Plenty of the Lego pieces for the races didnt connect well. But it was still fun for the kids.
