Hometown favorite! Cant go wrong eating here. The pizza is good, but I usually get something else! They have a variety of sandwiches, pasta dishes, soups, and the Rondos are pretty good too!!! Ive recently moved to another state, but when I come home I have to eat at LaRosas :-)
We stopped off for a couple of pizzas and some garlic breadsticks with cheese. All the food was good and so was the service. The pizzas seemed a little smaller than they used to be, but the quality was as good as usual. Its nice to see you can still depend on the Harrison LaRosa for a good meal.
I love your antipasto salad, but it is NEVER the same twice when we get carry-out. Last night, we had a different lettuce, NO CHEESE, TOMATOES, PEPPERS, OR DRESSING! The amount of salami and pepperoni was scant! I understand that getting good help these days is difficult, but this situation is getting ridiculous! You have good products but your reputation is declining with this type of service!
Waiter was a nice guy. Only two complaints is he kept complaining /blaming another coworker for things. Simple things that we werent even comparing about ourselves. Just not the kind of thing customers should hear, especially as theyre trying to enjoy a family meal. And second thing is we kept having to ask for more napkins as he would only give them to us 2-3 at a time. Were a family of five. I promise well use em. Heard other customers asking for napkins as well, so Im thinking this is a store wide thing. Napkin/paper shortage maybe?Overall still a good time, warm environment and all of the staff that we encountered were super friendly.
Good pizza and service. Great location in a beautiful area of downtown Harrison. The dining room was spacious with tables and booths. It looked like they can accommodate small families to large groups. There are a couple of private party rooms (seat 32 and 28 Guests) but I would call ahead to see if they need to be reserved. There is a wide selection on the menu to choose from. Ranging from LaRosas famous pizza and hoagies to pasta, salads and much more. Dine in or order ahead for pick up / delivery in the area. Drinks available include Coca-Cola Freestyle and a selection of beer, wine and cocktails.
I stopped in town with a friend, and we were worried that there wouldnt find anyplace to eat lunch. We found LaRosas, and they were able to get us in within a few minutes. The restaurant was clean, the server was very nice, and the food was great. We ordered appetizers and pizza, and it was all very high quality. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.
Went there with my family. Everything was delicious!! Other then walking into the bathroom and saw a waiter not wash there hands right after using the restroom. Our waiter kept forgetting everything, including giving us pizza boxes to put spaghetti in? But other then that, everything was very good!
This LaRosas has carry out during the pandemic figured out. We placed our order and received an order number. I drove to their location and pulled into one of their curbside pickup parking spots. Directions were clearly written on a sign at the end of the parking spot. Simply text your order number, name on your order, and parking spot number. Minutes later someone delivers the order to you vehicle. Both pizzas we ordered were made perfectly and tasted great. When we havent thought ahead for dinner we will make this a spot to get good carry out
Had to wait 15 minutes just to get to the cashier and then my order took a out 15 minutes longer than promised when I ordered it. The pizza WA about a 9 out if 10. When they super busy like this the pizza quality usually suffers a bit. Normally pizzas are about perfect here!
Our server DJ exemplified how an amazing server should be. He was very prompt with his service and courteous. I asked for a random drink and he did just that (it was delicious)! The rondos looked a little deformed but tasted just fine. No complaints we will be returning and asking for DJ again.
Horrible carryout service loooong wait on hold just to *place* order then long wait for foodFood was delicious as usualMobile app slow and clunky - not intuitiveForced to create account to make carryout orderThen part of order not even started when I arrived on time to pick up
Thank you for replying. Im not looking for freebies. I will give it another go with you. I have had good experiences with LaRosas before. If it wasnt for that I would have given 1 star.Got to pan pizzas and ask for well done. Thankful I did, otherwise it may have not gotten in the oven at all. Could squeeze the dough into a ball over half way to bottom. Got bone in wings that looked like the chicken had been beat with a ball bat. Fat content was about 70%. Very disappointing.
The curbside pick up is a joke. On 3 occasions now when there was to be curbside pickup I had to go in and wait. Tonight there was no place to park for curbside. I placed my order at 5:30 and the wait was supposed to be 40 to 50 minutes. I just got my pizza at 7:10. I should have ordered delivery 🙃.
Our server was amazing. Were we an indecisive group? Absolutely! Did he have the patience of a saint? Yes he did! Was he a trainee and still awesome? Absolutely! Sure, the food may be something I have eaten since I was a small child, but service is king. 5 stars to our trainee server, as for the food this felt off. Perhaps they just like to tweak recipes, but he hand tossed almost felt like pan, while traditional felt like childhood and pan felt like pan. All and all, it was a good experience, not wow, but good!
Taste is great as always, but with multiple mistakes, over multiple visits and even failure to meet bare minimum requirements of cutting the pizza in slices. I recommend a hiatus of the Harrison la rosas until they can better equip and train staff. In addition, if you do get a store credit for the sad and wrong pizza and attempt to use it for delivery. Prepare to be surprised with the requirement of a $16 order delivery minimum.
This visit was carry out. They are always busy but always seem to have enough people to cover all the positions to make each customers visit good and satisfactory. When I arrived for pick up my order was ready but the cashier was in training and wasn’t lol. She gave her 100% to please me and that’s made every things else ok. Lol
This location is not my favorite and its so sad because the did deserves 5 states but the customer service is why i rated 3. Even the manager was standing around with his hand on his hip and the other leaned up against the wall. He strips in the sake spot the entire visit. We ate dinner for 45 minutes and the man did not move an inch.
Great food and experience. When I accidentally left my buddy card in a different car (and had another in my wallet but was expired), the server told her manager and they used their card to take care of the pizzas I meant to buy on the buddy card, without us even asking as this was my mistake. They went about and beyond what was expected. Thanks!
I spent $30 on food being delivered because I didnt feel like going out. Needless to say it all went to waste and was poor quality. My pizza was burnt and my French onion soup was super thick and salty . Probably the worst Ive ever had in my life. And thats what I was most excited about. I was pretty upset, it was between this, Marcos and pizza hut. Next time it wont be in my choices.
Good luck with delivery... At least 85% of the time orders are incorrect , delivered cold, and well over the estimated time. Multiple calls to voice concerns have seemingly made no impact. Eat in if you are visiting this location and try to avoid that when they may be more than 50% full.
Food was great, server was too at the beginning but towards the end she was taking a while to get our check to us. Her name was Gabrielle, very sweet girl. I did realize how she had gotten a party so I still left a tip since I know how busy it can get but maybe spilt the parties up. Servers can’t handle 4 tables plus a party of 8. Someone always ends up being forgotten.
Well I’m impressed. We had a delivery that wasn’t perfect like it normally is and Larosas called us to find out exactly what was wrong!Every one can make a mistake now and then but not every huge restaurant “chain”(I hate to call them a chain. That makes them sound chinsey or something and they are SO not)Anyway I was really impressed they still care enough to find out what was wrong. Most larger places wouldn’t care because one $20 order didn’t do well so I’m TOTALLY impressed Larosas...We’ll be back SOON
Past 3 times ordering carryout the calzones have been absolutely terrible. The last time gave me food poisoning. They are always cooked funny, like they are going into a high heat oven a very short time instead of a lower heat oven for a little longer, so they end up with the toppings they put on top burnt, the bread undercooked and to top it all off, they are skimpy as can be and the calzone ends up being mostly just cheese. They didnt used to be this way. I tried another location tonight to see if it was just a larosas company wide change, but the other location was just how I expected it should be. Crammed full, cooked correctly and tastes amazing. Were no longer going to this location, the other is further away but its worth the drive. Be mindful this is carryout, I cant speak for how their food might be if you eat at the restaurant.
Service is not so good. They forgot part of my pickup order and when I returned to get it they didnt even seemed concerned, kinda of got a oh your back not even a sorry about that. Saw a delivery person literally drop a persons order and just pick the box up and go about their business that same visit. Dont know what happened after that to the bounced order. Ive been getting pickup from there for years and this isnt a one off experience, just the most recent.
I love Larosas but was at another location today & was disappointed! The Hawaiian pizza we had was topped with bacon that was so overcooked that it was HARD as a rock, so I picked it off in fear of cracking teeth!!! My special treat when I eat at Larosas is ordering Sweet Tea but this was awful with a bitter aftertaste.....I had hopes of the 2nd glass being from a different batch & tasting good ~ no such luck!!! 😕 Ill stick to the Western Hills locations 😋

2022-04-04Ive not been here for years, and returning was a pleasant experience. Servers were nice and efficient, and the food was excellent. I especially love being able to get the crustless pizza. Now, please, consider offering sizes for it.

2022-04-16Harrison LaRosa’s is almost always a hit. My order is done well, and the delivery is exactly what I expect. I tend to choose no contact delivery because I have dogs who will lose their minds barking, and the delivery people usually follow my instructions. It’s fabulous. Every once in a while things aren’t perfect, but I understand that happens.

2022-06-29The food was not very good at all. The tables were dirty when we sat down and the waitress wasn’t the best. Her interaction with us seemed very forced and she didn’t seem very happy but you could tell she was somewhat trying to be nice. I also ordered a domestic beer and it tasted like it had been sitting in a fridge for a year. I am assuming it’s because they don’t sell a bunch. Just a disappointing visit over all and we most likely won’t return.

2022-07-29Save your time go some place else if you have a party of 9 good luck, a small group of 6 came in 30 min prior to us showing up and then we are told that we should be seated within 20 min ok fine, 1 hour later we are still waiting to be seated, when asked about the party room they told us they wont open it due to no one to cover it... oh well your a business its your job to accommodate your customers... very disappointed this place has definitely gone down hill...

2022-06-10Ive eaten at larosas many times and I have always enjoyed my food. But today I ordered a calzone and its one of the worst things Ive ever eaten in my life. Again, I usually love their calzones! Theyre my go-to order. But the one I received today was over-baked to the point of being burnt on the bottom AND it had hardly any cheese or toppings inside. Im very disappointed. Probably wont be ordering from here for quite some time

2022-05-27Me and my family ate inside tonight I was not happy. I sat next to a curtin that had gross white stuff on it which has been on there for months, my spag was cold and I had to chase people down to get warmed up the meat tasted burnt so I just got a box to put it in and throw it in the garbage when I get home. Dont want hubby to see me throw it away at resturant. But thanks larosas for trying

2022-08-05Love this place, and have gone here every Friday night for about a decade. However, they’ve recently been closing the dining area randomly, not delivering at random times, etc.. They’re really starting to disappoint.

2022-04-13Ordered a pizza using a buddy card. Havent been to restaurants since covid. Buddy card was expired so they wouldnt honor it. Manager was rude, cashier was rude. I lost $10 for the buddy card but they lost a customer and I left the pizza I ordered. I wont be returning as there are many other pizza places that appreciate their return customers. Businesses are struggling and the pizza was already made, so we both lost. Wont be returning!!
