It was raining when my children and I first showed up, but we still enjoyed ourself. The rain eventually went away. This is a waterpark that is still new and under construction, so please keep that in mind when planning a visit. However, I am real big on customer service and all the staff hit every marker in my book for phenomenal customer service. From the parking staff giving my son a cupcake for his birthday to directing me to where to park to the golf cart drivers taking us to our destination. The concession staff was great so I had to tip. The food is of great quality for the price. I will definitely be back. My children definitely had fun....So did I
This is literally the most fun Ive had in a long time! We took our church camp kids there today! It was our first time! The restrooms are nice. There cabanas you can rent. Perfect weather & very enjoyable experience. We will definitely come back & tell everyone to check you out!
Had a blast last night with the fam! The props and actors are great, there were times where the actors said things that were funny as hell! I think Phobia Face Your Fears was probably the one we enjoyed the most, that ending getting out was something else sheesh! Now, on the downside...the ride HAS GOT TO GOOOO!! You literally ride around in two circles... It may be more of a little kids thing but if not please replace it with something waaaaayy better! Something never done before something thatll have everyone saying oooooo ahhhhhh......
I went with my girlfriends a couple of days ago, dont believe all the news saying this place isnt safe because it is. 1st they make you wear life jackets 24/7 Ive never been to a pool or lake that makes you wear life jackets in the first place. 2nd the have life guards everywhere like on the sand on the water and even on the floating course. 3rd they make you get off the floating course to check all of the floats to make sure they still good a few times during the day.
Great place to have the kids entertained and release some energy! They have a separate area for smaller children to play. We visited on a weekday, but I bet they get super busy on weekends.Concessions are a little on the pricier side, but they have some great beach style adult beverages. Pizza and chicken are on the menu (no outside food allowed).
Went to the winter lights drive through. They did a good job of setting up themes through out. The walk around area was good too. They had a small merry go round, something that looked like a kids roller coaster and an animal petting area. On the other end was a small outside theater playing a Christmas story. Plenty of fires to warm the body and a few other activities. All in all a good time for the whole family.
I’ve lived 8 miles from there for 2 years, I’m pretty new to the area. My adult kids have spent a Halloween celebration with them and really decided to stop going to Universal Studios because Land was “more fun” so, we decided to try the Christmas Glow! Everyone had the same idea 💡 we have had enough lockdown and no activities, tonight was a proverbial “Field of Dreams” cars went on forever! We were in line for about an hour, but the time was well worth it. Over 3.4 MILLION lights and a pure patriotic flair to boot!! After your tour, stop at Santa’s village, people are kind, the food, cider and hot chocolate is warm and the beer cold!
It was great! Went with a group of friends, got fast passes since it was all of our first visit ever to the park. All of the actors were very friendly considering all of the drunk people, who also dont know how to behave in a public setting, they had to deal with. We were able to go through 4 of the attractions and they were all very well maintained with markers for social distancing on the ground, signage expressing when masks are required, and hand sanitizing stations pretty much everytime we turned around. We cant wait to visit again next season! It was a blast!
The water park is fantastic!! The bathrooms and changing facilities were immaculate. The staff were all pleasant and friendly. Concessions are on the expensive side but thats pretty normal at any amusement attraction. The water wasnt gross either!! My teenage sons loved it!! Will be back, for sure!!
I arrived 30 minutes before the park officially opened for the evening and there were at least 60 cars in front of me. They started letting vehicles in 10 minutes early . The ticket taker was friendly and you did not feel rushed driving through but by the time I did get out there were cars in line as far as the eye could see
This place was perfect ..well except no jet skis. Wasnt packed ppl were wearing masks. Theres a kids section away from bigger section. Bathrooms were clean and nice. Staff was awesome. I came from out of town and went on a Sunday...NO ALCOHOL SALES ON SUNDAY!!!!😭. If you have 12 or more you pay $12.99 pp instead of $37 pp. Didnt know that I had 8 ppl in my group and it would have been cheaper if I paid for 4 strangers as well.
Very impressed with the number and quality of the scareactors since it was September and not very busy at all. Including the Zombie Sniper paintball in the price of admission is a great value. All of the workers were very friendly and helpful. All of the houses were very well done. Phobia was probably the weakest due to long sections in total darkness. Did not have any food or beverage so I have no idea of the value or quality. It was also $5 to park but the lot was really nice.
Some lines got crazy, but they did offer fast pass lines. The clown experience was a big let down to us and not worth the wait. It was one of the slowest moving lines and one of the shortest attractions. The zombie shoot was amazing and fun, just wish the was more actual actors to shoot at than dummies and that the ride lasted a bit longer but other than that it was great and the line was the first wait for us. The trail was my favorite part of this place, but we didnt have time before closing to make it threw the last 2 attractions. And we were there an hour before opening to get in faster and left an hour before closing when most of them had started shutting down. The live band they had was an acdc cover band and did a fantastic job. LOVED IT
If you are out of shape and old like I am, this is not for you lol. I struggled THEE entire time in that water and them kids are disrespectful and have no regards for your safety. They just wanna have fun and hate that the old people taking forever to move lmao. I did enjoy myself though. A bit pricy for what they had to offer at such a small park. Didnt like that my eye was perfectly fine before the water and after I got in, its red, oozing and hurting!
What an amazing fun time for me and my family. Plenty to do & plenty of fun. THERE WAS A MOMENT THOUGH when a group of younger boys continued to take control of some of the inflatables and they were rough housing and pushing people off of them.....not good when there are families and little ones wanting to have fun....BUT I went up and made a complaint and the management went into action ...deployed various lifeguards and got total control of the situation. They controlled the situation completely even after the rowdy group left the park. Thank you management. My family was able to enjoy the second half of the day just like the 1st half. This place is a wonderful little surprise!!!
Christmas glow: great lights! Be prepared to pay extra for rides. 3 rides for $12, or $5 per ride, December 2019 prices. But no extra cost to pet animals, $1 or $2 to feed them, they are fat and happy, fyi. Other cost; Full Bar, concession, fudge factory, onsite customized tree orniments, souvenir stand, pictures with santa (fair quility, at best) and funnel cakes. My family absolutely loved it. The young people running the show really cant answer any questions, so dont bother asking
The light display was more than I expected. The pictures with Santa were a bit pricey, but there are lots of other great picture taking opportunities! I forgot to mention that the Grinch was awesome! He jumped in my sons train car and interacted with them. Thanks Grinch!
Absolutely love the drive through Christmas lights! Its a pretty long display and have lots of different characters and things to point out to the kids. My family has come here every year since we discovered it. I especially like the Cousin Eddie reference from Christmas Vacation 🤣. The Christmas village is nice as well, with a petting zoo, snacks, and a nice area to meet Santa. My kids thought the animatronic singing animals were hilarious. Avoid the rides though... We paid 12 bucks to for 1 kid and an adult to ride the train around the (very) short track just twice. Well definitely be back next season!
Went for the Christmas lights and village. We took our 7 year old twin nieces and they loved it. We all enjoyed the Christmas lights drive thru and the Christmas village. The girls loved everything there and had a lot of fun. We are going to try and make this a new tradition for the girls with us each year.
The beautiful displays were extensive, its well worth the cost of $8 per person, the line to get in was (surprisingly) not terribly long and there were some nice walk-thru features at the end (fire pits, Build-a-Bear, outdoor Christmas movies, a petting zoo, hot chocolate and treats available, an adult bar. I may have missed something) that were well done but more appropriate for families with young children.Well done, LOI. Well done.
I was not super impressed. We bought the fast passes and waited just as long as everyone else. Fast pass is not worth the money. Also, I get scared very easy and was only scared about 3 times. Your local haunted attractions would be much better and about $30 cheaper. Disappointed.
Christmas lights and village are great. But there was this staff member in a polar bear costume near the fire pits that was really making us uncomfortable. His costume was filthy. He would not leave us alone after we told him to please leave multiple times. He kept standing in our group trying to get us to shake his hand. This sounds like a joke but it wasn’t funny. We ended up leaving because of him.
They charge $55 per person for the ability to go through all 7 of their attractions. Problem is, you don’t have a snowballs chance in hell of going through even half of them in one night. We got there early since they “open” at 8. They take your money at 8, they don’t start the attractions at 8. It’s almost 9 before the lines even start moving. The trail which is their most popular attraction is worse, line didn’t start moving until around 9:30. Took roughly 2 hours to get into the trail and we weren’t that far back in line. Got to go through a whopping 2 attractions for $55 per person. This place needs to work on some things, there are far better options in the area that are worth the money than this place.
Went late so no other cars which meant no headlights in your mirrors or being rushed through. Stopped inside and it was pleasant although everything was closed. Thats okay though because Im sure well be back again with the kids and earlier next time to catch all the festivities and see their shops. Just sat by their big awesome fire and talked with a very kind gentleman that worked there. Merry Christmas everyone!!
Their haunted attractions were great! We will definitely be back, and when we return Ill probably get the fast pass next time, to me it would be worth it. The lines can get long and move slowly, still worth it for the price, Im just impatient lol. It was a lot of fun, and I recommend a visit during the Halloween season! (I know they do something during other holidays too, but I havent been there for those yet.)
A wonderful outdoor activity to share with family during this restrictive holiday season. Although it was raining, the slow drive through the bright Christmas light displays and animations was enjoyable. At the end of the drive we opted to walk around the outdoor activities including large fire pits, animal zoo with camel and cows, children rides, and a number of lit up static displays familys were taking pictures in front of. I saw a sign for stuffed bear building but may have missed it while looking at all of the ornaments for sale. Mask wearing visitors didnt hide their enjoyment for being there. Thanks Land of Illusion for putting together a safe and fun family event. Hope to bring the family back next year.
Expensive but a good time. You can go in 6 or 7 haunted houses that are pretty good. Some of the attractions might be too scary for young children. Be prepared to wait in long lines. They have a free outdoor band and bonfires to stay warm by. There are places to order food and drinks. There are additional attractions you can pay extra for like shooting paintballs at zombies while riding in a military style truck or jumping off a high tower with a bungee. The actors roaming the grounds are entertaining and you can get your picture with them for free. The funnel cake is really good if you like funnel cake. I highly recommend this place. I would give it 5 stars if it were about $10 less per person.
What a Great safe way to enjoy swimming with your kids! Life vests keep you floating over 10ft deep aqua rock quarry turned into a floatation obstacle course what could be more fun?! No outside Anything including Umbrellas, drinks, food, floats. Although I did see someone in there own life vest so that maybe okay. Bonus My 14yr old daughter was still running the gauntlet when wee were leaving and the lifeguard did an announcement for us ! Not really seeing a downside here just wear lots of sunscreen and get ready to Laugh so hard that you may wet yourself.
You wont wanna go back. Nowhere near worth the money. However; other thar than the 50 min (no exaggeration) wait that my 8 year son and I (and at least 40 other people) waited for some extremely overpriced, over cooked, and under delicious food; him and I thoroughly enjoyed the place.
It was super fun! Great big bonfire in the middle of the courtyard, a cafe and an over priced crappy hamburger stand that was out of cheese lol, the bar was closed so cant comment on that. But that was good for a family Sunday trip. The clown haunted house was great, the Temple was the best, the shack was amazingly detailed! Staff was great, except the food vendors, they acted like customers were annoying and should not be there. Drinks and coffee are great, food is terrible.
The best place to go for Halloween! My familt and I has gone 2 years in a row and will continue to go back every year! The price is great and you get to go through 8 haunted houses and trails. The zombie paintball ride is probably my favorite thing. Price on food and drinks is a little high. Love the stage and the bonfire in the middle. Its such an awesome place because you literally have so many things to do.
I went to Land of Illusion as a child and it was so scary, I had nightmares for years and didnt do any scary stuff until last year. But this year, I decided I was ready to try this again now that Im not so young. It was still just as scary. If youre in the area when this open and youd like to do something scary and fun, this is the place to go. Aside from the 5 haunted attractions included with basic admission, theres also a tower you can jump off of, a large fire pit to warm yourself up, a full bar, surprisingly nice and clean bathrooms, some food vendors, a large stage that sometimes houses performances and plays music videos when its not, and you can pay to ride an actual army truck through the woods and shoot zombies!
Brought our granddaughters to Kentucky to see The Creation Museum and the Ark Encounter. Decided to make Day 3 a water day, and glad we found this gem! Very clean bathrooms. The water was very clean and refreshing. It looks like they may dye it a turquoise color. Didn’t care for the sand & gravel mix. Also very hard to get in and out of the water because it is so steep. Needs to be sloped more. The lifeguards were exceptional; very alert and not putting up with nonsense, but still letting everyone have fun. They don’t allow outside food and drinks in, but they do have kegs of water you can refill your cups with. I brought my own Yeti cup and the bartenders filled it with ice for me at no charge. The food was very pricey, but good. Wish they had a better variety such as candy bars, chips, fruit, etc. They did sell Dippin Dots at an exceedingly outrageous cost, but ice cream cones would have been nice. The staff everywhere was so friendly. Would highly recommend this place if you’re vacationing here!
Lots of fun but definitely recommend getting a fast pass in order to not be waiting hours in lines. Even with fast pass we waited in one line up to 40 minutes which is still better then 2 hours. Everything inside was very pricey and strictly cash. But overall a very fun experience.
The most terrifying thing here are the lines. To get in, for the attraction, for the food. $50 for admission is pretty steep for what it is. Drinking encouraged to get through the night- take as both advice and warning, theres drink carts scattered throughout. Its more of a drunk casual hang out. People in the parking lot were already loading up on their alcohol and smokes- second red flag ignored 🙄. First was when we got there a couple hours after opening, others were returning to their cars to leave. They say online tickets is encouraged to get through fast, but there were people buying tickets at the booth that held up the SAME LINE.Inside, if there isnt a line outside, theres a line inside thats blocked by walls. Every turn is another hallway of people waiting. Times 4. Each attraction. It was almost 2 hours for a 10m walkthrough. Fast pass lines were long as well.If you find Justin Bieber and Lana Del Ray music horrifying, the atmosphere will set the mood I guess. Not a lot of people were out scaring, lots of potential prime spots that could have been done for that.
I paid $55 per person for 4 people for 7 attractions. We got there at 8 o clock and were able to do THREE before they closed. They were obviously understaffed with actors, and it was most noticeable on the trail. The actors who WERE there tried their best and I respect that. That still doesnt take away from the fact that the entire park is structured in a way that if you dont pay extra for fast passes on top of the already high prices, you will not be able to get through even most of them.
I’ve gone every year for the past 5 years (minus covid) and this year was a little sad. I totally get they must be short staffed so props to the staff that showed up. But very little interaction and my group got little to no interaction because groups were too close together so we kinda got the short end of the stick. Also the price of $50/person is ridiculous for the experience we had. Not very scary and think just lack of enthusiasm with the crew as well as the overall lack of staff (which once again, is not their fault whatsoever and I acknowledge that).
We have visited this place since it was only the Middletown Haunted Trail and over the years it grew and was a great place for a scare. Regretfully, we weren’t able to visit for about 3 years and returned for a visit last night and what the hell happened to this place. The admission prices are not the same as stated on website and at no time did it state that it was a cash only park (tax evasión anyone). Extremely overpriced and not scared a single time. There is so much dead space with no actors and poor set up. Potentially they could have more actors but if you can believe this after the amount charged for admission they only pay actors $40 a night. Can you imagine being there from 5 pm to 2 am for $40. So basically we paid $480 for a family of 6 with fast pass and still had to wait in long lines and for absolutely nothing. I noticed that the owner or administrator of their google reviews doesn’t even respond to the bad reviews so why even try to take it up with them. This place is gouging prices phenomenally and it is less than sub par for a haunted attraction. Don’t waste your time or money going here. Support a local haunt!
Went to the haunted trail attraction last night and left early after waiting an hour and 19 min in line, I was very disappointed because I have been here before and enjoyed my experience every time. Barely any of the characters looked realistic and didn’t even scare my 12,10,9,7 year old. For the price I paid to get myself in I will more than likely never go again.if we pay that much they can afford some makeup artist. 😏
Went for the scream park and it sucked. The lines were ridiculous, the trail was really not a trail at all and there were so many people dressed up following you and screaming in your face that it wasnt even scary but rather annoying. I wasted my money here. This place just isnt for adults at all. I wish I could get my money back and actually use it for something enjoyable.
The sand has gravel and hold so much heat its like walking on burning coals, beach shoes are a must omg that ground was torture... Now other than that the food was good, real good!! Not as big as it seems online but a decent size, I was told this year they opened a toddler wibit area this is not true. But at the end of the day we had a blast and would definitely return, actually were planning to come back for the Halloween activities this fall!!!
Props are good however hardly any thing moves, lots of place for the old jump out at you thing except no one was at any of them. Super hot with no fans. Lines are crazy. Over an hour wait per attraction. Got there right after they opened and was able to see only three. Super expensive when you cant get the whole experience without being there for hours.
After driving an hour this was a horrible experience and a waste of $150.00! There is more bar tenders, than haunt workers. We paid for every attraction AND got fast passes. Half of the haunted houses that was featured was not even open. We was only able to feature 3 attractions and got there at 11:45ish. The three that we did go through didn’t even have anyone jumping out or scaring us literally there was 2 people telling us which was to go bc we couldn’t find our way out. One of the attractions you sat down and went in a circle 2 times and got to look at pictures on the wall, lasted 1-2 min max. The park closes at 1 pm, however they closed the gates to the rides at 12:15.. even a restaurant wouldn’t close down if we are already in there eating. I would like to know who I can reach out to and speak to because I know it says NO REFUNDS; however this is a rip off.
OVERPRICED! Paid $156 online for me and my wife which included the fast pass. Which wasnt even worth it because they sold so many that have made the fastpass line long. Especially for Big Mamas Revenge the line was longer than the general admission line. Apparently when me and my wife were in line for Big Mamas Revenge they were making an announcement where the stage is located that only people can hear in that general area that they will be closing the Haunted trail at 12:30. When we got out of Big Mamas Revenge we wanted to use the bathroom real quick before waiting in line for the trail. Every year we go to The Haunted trail last.... As we were walking back from the bathroom I remember looking at my watch and it was 12:21 an employee shut off the lights for the Haunted trail sign and closed the gates and walked away. Me and my wife walked back up to the front and decided to talk to a manager, so they gave us the manager from security and that manager claim that there are announcements that are made every 10 minutes stating that The Haunted trail will be closing at 12:30 so they can get through the queue line. We told him that we didnt hear the announcement because we were so far out waiting in line for another attraction that was very far from the announcement that was made. He pretty much did nothing about it and walked away. Me and my wife were very upset. Spent almost $200 on something that we couldnt even go through all of.... Theres not even a care in the world from anybody. If you waste your money then you waste your money they really dont care. I emailed two separate accounts stating what happened and I still have yet to receive any response. We even got their at 9pm and left at about 1245am after hearing the news. We drove 45 min and usually come every year and this was BY FAR the worse year. 2020 was better which is crazy to say....
It was my fiance and Is first time going to the Land Of Illusion. Price was a little steep considering most of the time we were there was waiting in line for everything. Need to pee? Wait in line. Hungry? Back of the line. You can get the express pass but those lines were long too. Overall we had a good time. Just be prepared for long lines and waiting.
In the past we have really enjoyed this place at Halloween; however, this year left us seriously disappointed. The fast pass lines were so long and moving so slowly that we were unable to get through all the attractions so it seems like we should have just saved our money and gotten general admission tickets.
Awful experience. Paid $156 for 2 tickets and they were rushing people through and are under staffed. When we did the haunted trail we had a group of 5. We were literally walking with about 100 people because of how fast they push people through. Only good part was when we finally got out of the trail because I was tired of walking with 100 people and the employees just standing there because there was to many people to scare.
This place was pretty cool, the kids got a ton of exercise and the bathrooms are clean. Ive been to this location twice. The first time was a 5 star experience and the second one was a 3 star (averages out to 4 star review). The issue the second time around is that the pond had fish that literally bit us. Not once or twice but several times. The staff said that they didnt add any fish to the pond, but they are somehow there and do affect the experience. Im not sure how they would get rid of them, but theyve got to go before we return. A shame, because I is a cool concept.
I went in the fall during the haunted houses and it was great! There was a stage there with a live DJ, plenty of room to dance and watch the show. The fire pit behind the dance area was huge and perfect to sit by have a drink and warm up! Come dressed however you want! You can come in Halloween costume and youll fit right in with everyone. The haunted houses are a long wait in line, so dress warm if its cold! But they are super fun and exciting! Some of the haunted houses take photos of you getting scared so you beed to grab your ticket at the end so you can get your photos. They have oleanty of food and drink vendors on site for everyone. I didnt do the hayride but Ive heard its amazing. Planning on returning in the winter for their Christmas events they hold!
I make a trip here every fall for the haunt attractions. Have yet to be disappointed across the board, between the haunts and the performances on many weekends it is always a blast. Even when it has been busy when we have gone we still we able to get through a majority of the attractions.
For me personally I didn’t jump not even one time. We went into all 6 houses and I’m usually really easy to scare. The price was good for 6 haunted houses though. The lines are super long so you’ll want to go early or you’ll only get into 1 or 2 houses before they close.
Not overly bad, but way overpriced for what they have to offer. Plus, they require a liability waiver. Kings Island water park doesnt require that. 🙄Overpriced food was expected, but quality also seemed to be lacking. Restroom facilities were clean and modern. Life guards were good about enforcing wearing life jackets, perhaps because a 14 year old girl downed to death here a few days ago.All in all, I felt a mostly disappointed, especially for the ridiculous price ($32 per person, based on their height, plus $5 per vehicle parking fee to park on a makeshift gravel parking lot). But we gave them a shot to see what its like. Definitely would not pay the admission cost to return...not a chance.
Halloween Theme Park:TLDR: Houses were okay, but mostly unimpressive. Half of the actors were good. Temple of Terror was the worst. We went the weekend of the killer clowns, and the clowns costumes and effort really shined. The actors in Dr. Psychos really earned their money and put in effort. The Temple of Terror had good animatronics, but not much for actors. The Temple of Terror by far had the best props, but was second to the worst one. The Killer Clown Maze was very cool to look at, the actors were half caring and half not. Even with half actors it wasnt the scariest, but it was the most fun. Phobia was by far the worst one. The props were pretty bad and if you dont actually have a phobia of fake snakes spider and darkness, you wont like this one at all. Big mamas house felt more like a haunted John Deer Tire Depot with heavy fog and a camo net cover. I am pretty sure we ended up accidentally going into an actors spot because it was purposefully so foggy. The Trail is their bread and butter, by far their best attraction.I believe the price of admission can be worth it, but you absolutely can not justify paying for the fast pass as well. $75 is too much for this place even for skipping the line. I am usually a big pay to skip the line person, but I just didnt leave feeling satisfied with the money I spent.
Ive lived in the area for about 4 years now and have not once gone here, this year was my first and i had a fantastic time! Parking was only 5$ and they had people guide you to a spot so you didnt have to search which Is GREAT. We showed up about 15 minutes before they opened on a Thursday so it wasnt that busy at all. The longest line we had to wait in was no more than 20 minutes, the scsres were FANNTASSTIC. As long as your excited and motivated to go through, youll have a great time. The set ups were honestly a little beyond amazing. Loved it
Honestly way over hyped. Mediocre haunted trails. Less than what seemed 10 actors in each one. Not much different than previous years. Also having to throw out your own water, so they can force you to pay $3+ for their water. Food, drinks etc. Everything way over priced. Would rather drive farther for a better haunted trail experience
I liked the actual haunted houses. However, they only accepted cash which I rarely carry. The security at the entrance was very rude with customers. The entrances are not clearly marked. The two for online tickets is clearly labeled.. the other one was not.. I went to one and got told to use another entrance cause it was for online tickets, but labeled. People waiting to use the ATM, which is right beside another entrance. The security was yelling at ppl waiting in line to form a line. Only one atm was working out of three at the entrance. There was a line to use that one atm. The museum attraction was the worst waste of time. Waited in line for about 2 hours, only to do three circles inside with the same visuals. The wait for each other attractions depends on how busy they are. Next year I will be finding a scream park to go to.
Was okay not the greatest. Was way too expensive. $55 per person is too much plus $5 for parking. An having to wait over an hour in each line because not wanting to pay $25 extra for the fast pass for something not all that scary. Trying to be just like Kings Island is a joke. Its more for littler kids.
Went here last year and really enjoyed the trail. Really wish they were open at least a couple days during the week. Last year they were open thursdays and maybe Wednesdays too. It’s hard when you work every other weekend to get to all the attractions you want to get to when all these places are only open fridays and saturdays. Last year we went on the weekdays a couple times. Another thing, we wanted to come up and just do the trail only but online the single attraction option only said it was for one of the haunted houses. I could have swore last year we came up there and just did the trail but I could be mistaken.
I’ve been going here for a few years now. I’m extremely disappointed with this years actors. Most of them just stared at you and walked through. The little girl in the temple was the only one the actors even attempted to scare. Tour guide? Not at all. Not worth the money I wasted and the 2 hour drive.
Me and my family went last night and to say this is the only haunted house that still has michael myers, one of the main reasons I like coming here because they have some of the original characters freddy was also there , all u need is to add jason. Micheal makes halloween so never take him out. Got through the lines quick because we got there when it first opened except the haunted trail which was worth the wait. Voodoo lounge great drinks , but please add to your website that the food and drink places only takes cash only . I normally only carry my card but for future reference I would let people no thats its cash only when purchasing food and drink.
The lights were very pretty and the little village setup was a really cute idea, in theory. Where I feel they could have done better is with the social distancing and mask wearing. A good portion of the people walking around in there were not wearing masks and to make it worse, people were walking right up on top of us. The activities offered were fun and we did enjoy ourselves. Also, the food and beverage options were very yummy
This was a good time. I think it was worth the money - $ 7 a person - though I wish it was a little bit longer. They had some really neat areas with some inventive light displays - my favorite were the monument s from around the world. It also had a nice display for our armed forces (though they forgot the Coast Guard) and an inside area with additional activities like pictures with Santa and a gift shop.
Let me tell you about Aqua Adventures! There is absolutely zero structure! There is people going in both directions on this one obstacle course, so it is very difficult to even try to do it. People are pushing you. There are so many unattended children running around cutting in front of the few children that was raised with common courtesy and respect. The slide wasnt even up! The few teenage employees that were suppose to be watching over everyone didnt care what was going on! It is literally an eye for an eye in that jungle! Someone is going to end up severely hurt! It was not worth the $128 for the 4 of us considering we couldnt do anything (not including the $5 parking fee). We was being shoved by 5 year olds every five seconds. Id like to know where the parents were! After the 10th time my son got shoved he finally shoved someone back. I cant believe I told himgood job, but he would have NEVER have gotten to get on the slide if he wouldnt have stood his ground. The sad part is there was an employee watching the whole time. It is a joke! Never again! 3 days later and someone dies, a child at that!! Go figure! That place is dangerous! My left leg wouldve been snapped off at the rope slide if it wouldnt have been for me being able to hold up my own weight for a minute to get it untwisted from the rope! Oh yeah, when you sign a waiver basically signing your life away you sign that waiver expecting for the employees to do their job as well, and that was nowhere at all the case! There was no kind of structure, responsibility being taken, there was not one employee older than 16, and all they was doing was kicking back getting a suntan literally!
This place is amazing! The staff is extremely attentive to the people on the Wibit. Every time I have seen someone try to take a life jacket off, the guards have blown their whistle at them instantly before they even got it unzipped. The lifeguards even interact with the people on the obstacle course. If there is a large group a lifeguards will stand right where the large group is to keep an eye on the situation. I highly recommend this place and trust them fully while my 3 children are in the water. My trust is 100% with them in every way! Its a 40 min drive for us. We already use the KI Waterpark frequently. But, on our first visit, we were so blown away and impressed by the quality and structure that we decided to buy season passes!
This was my first time visiting for the Christmas and light display, and was I impressed! The variety of scenes and themes, the brilliant lights, and just the overall quality were all outstanding! From a lovely Nativity, to the Enchanted Forest, to a salute to our Armed Forces, there was something for everyone. If you havent been, dont miss it!
Lost my phone and they said they have divers that come once a month to retrieve lost items, its been over a month and they havent gotten it back. Whenever I try to get in contact with them its a teenager who isnt aware of much. Terrible customer service. Food is okay but its overpriced. Good DJ and music. Very fun with your friends but it gets a bit crowded.
Google would not let me post my long review so Ill keep it short. Its a waste of money ACROSS THE BOARD! At least you can ride rollercoasters at Kings Island during Haunt and its ten bucks cheaper to go.Too bad you cant read the real review I wrote because it was really detailed as to the why its a waste of time and money. I might add it as a photo 🤔
We love our time at Land of Illusion water theme park!! We always feel so safe and relaxed when we’re there. It’s a great staycation type of place for those who might not live in the area. The sand, cabanas and music make you feel like you’re on the beach! Just make sure you know how to swim and are willing to wear a life jacket or else this place is not for you.
Waste of money I paid $50 for what? We paid for all 7 attractions and only got to go to 3 of them. To what look at decorations??? No one was even scared. Then we was trying to go to the our car and come back and they told us only one person in our party is aloud out at a time if they give them something of their personal property to hold. So why as a group of adults are treated like kindergarten kids. My 3 yr old would have loved this..but definitely would not pay even $30 for my son to go. Not for adults trying to get scared.
The haunted attractions were pretty good. Price was fair, considering you get access to seven different attractions for your $50 ticket. Loved the big fire pit in the middle and live music going on to check out in between attractions. Also, having a beer while you wait in line is a pretty cool bonus as well. This would NOT be a good place to visit if you are concerned at all about COVID however. Mask rules and distancing are not enforced at all, and youll spend a good amount of time in close proximity to a LOT of people while you wait in line, and some of the lines hold you in some pretty tight spaces as well.
Sorry but the haunted attraction was awful, I wouldnt recommend it to my worst enemy. Waited in line for 2 hours just for a 5 minute haunted house. Extremely expensive and trap pricing. If you do decide to go, youre better off just buying 1 ticket rather than the unlimited pass. $55 (per person) and we barely saw one trail in three hours. Overall the place looks neat as you walk in but the longer you stay the more youll want to get out. Do yourself a favor and support a smaller attraction, youll get a better scare and wont break the bank doing it.
Three stars only because the bathrooms were really clean. I was not impressed with having to pay almost $60 to get my family into the lights for us to have to pay for everything inside as well. Price gouging seems to be a trend with Land Of Illusion. Definitely not reasonably priced for a large family like my own. I basically paid $60 to see some lights and let my kids pet a camel when I can take my kids to a farm and pet animals for free. It would have been an extra $100 just for my kids to participate in the activities.
This place seems great! I went on a Saturday night and arrived an hour after they opened and it was packed! So packed to the point where you had to wait in line for over 45 minutes. The concession stand was pretty expensive so Id suggest if you want to eat, to eat before arriving. They do have masks required signs up but no one really wears one. Overall, I feel like I spent $50 that went to waste. I only got to go to two attractions and grab a pizza and it was already 11:45 pm. I get that it might be hard to control people wearing masks but I feel like what could help is controlling how many people come in.
The attractions (what we got to see) were great. I honestly was disappointed that my group arrived at the park at 9pm and were only able to go through 2 of the 6 or 7 attractions due to long and very slow lines. My husband and I paid over $100 for our general admission tickets for the evening. I think that if your going to charge that much admission you should be sure that your visitors get to see all of the attractions. I understand lines are long and that’s great business for them, but maybe come up with a stamping system or something so if visitors do not have time before closing to see all the attractions they can come back and go through the attractions they missed. I feel like I wasted $100 to only get to see 2 attractions. Waste of money from my viewpoint and experience.
They show prices online that is not what the prices are. During the week it is closed, but shows prices. It costed me 95 dollars for only my 13 year old could climb on the stuff my autistic 5 year old could not. The one time that she could, she fell off in the middle and I couldnt get to her. The lifeguard just sat there and if another parent wasnt sitting there I dont know what would happen. Then you have to pay an obscene amount of money for a tent or a cabana. Then the food is so expensive 8 dollars for a overcooked hot dog and a tiny bag of chips. As much as it costed to go there I should have been able to bring in a bottle of water for my autistic daughter. Nope was not allowed..
Make sure you go on day that has absolutely no rain bc if they see one lightning bolt they make you wait 30 mins before you can get back in. We arrived at 3:40pm and we only swam for one hour until they kicked everyone out for lightning. Went down to the ticket box and they were like we are sorry we only do rain checks for after 4pm. No Land of Illusion just couldn’t make it right or even give me half of my money back for the inconvenience. Terrible terrible business. I would never recommend them to a friend anymore for the poor customer service I received today!
They are over priced .. it offended us that they have a section on their holiday lights honoring the military but they dont give any military discount. If you wanted to honor those who served .. a discount would be a better way to show it than some signs. they charge per person and you cant go around more than once. We had someone blasting us with their lights so didnt have the best experience. The Middletown lights at Smith park .. dont change just donation and you can go around as many times as you want. no discount for seniors either ... this place is all bout the greed.
Fun! chill!! water outdoor small lake with floating inflatable excursions. Outdoor volleyball. Very reasonably priced. Excellent staff. Booze! We went on a sunday so the bar was closed but a non profit guy with cans of drinks was open. They said haunted thriller event for halloween and christmas is beautiful w light displays. We had fun but mostly relaxed under a tiki we rented for cheap. Great day in the sun with my bae 🤗🤗
Awesome place for adventures. Summer fun, winter fun, all hallows fun! This place is the best kept secret in the mid-mid west ,YES! The best part was seeing GWAR there, and getting the park (all-access). First, watch the movie Funhouse Massacre based around this haunted attraction! Starring, the renowned Robert Englung and Clint Howard! These guys have built a masterpiece! Bonfire nights, concessions, souvenir shops and MUCH, MUCH MORE! Be there or be square!!!
I didnt really dislike this place, but the reason why I only gave it 2 stars is because with the restrictions of covid-19. Lets start off with the mask policy, with only me and 2 other friends I went with Ive only seen about a hand full of people wearing masks, including the staff and it was packed the night I went which was Saturday night. Second, on top of no masks there were little to no social distancing in every single line I e waited in. Because of all of this I decided to call it an early night. The only good thing about this place is that they have awesome mazes and friendly staff. Will I go back? Yes, but not for awhile. So keep these details in mind while you visit. Heck bring 2 masks for twice the protection. Stay safe folks.
Went last year and it was $45 and got to go through every attraction they had which was 6. Just got done tonight and even with COVID around, the park was the busiest I have EVER seen it. Nothing to help maintain distancing within lines. Lines took 2 hours and 2.5 hours on some. It’s cash only and it does not state that on the website. $55 is the price this year and that’s not worth it at all. It should be more like $30. Worst year I’ve been to yet, and even if they were going into this year knowing everything going on, why not just lower the prices? They still make $40k+ a night!! This will definitely be my last year here unless something improves. Such a bust!
They advertise 7 haunts for the astronomical admission price of $55 a person. Family of four arrives at 7:45 pm and pays $220. I had a feeling it was a mistake. My hunch was correct, we were only able to get on 1 attraction, the haunted trail. A joke. They allow too many people inside this place, lines are hours and hours long. The worst run haunted attraction we’ve ever been too! BTW, dozens of people were jumping out of line from the Psycho house, at least 2.5 hours on that one. They let all the fast pass people in and the $55 admissions are treated like garbage!
I absolutely love this place! It has six different haunted houses. You have the option to pay for each attraction or you can pay for all six attractions at $49.99 per person. In addition, you have the option to upgrade to a fast pass, which is an extra $25 per person. The fast pass is definitely worth the price in my opinion. Overall, my wife and I had a great time.
My phone fell out of my pocket in one of the trails, I filled out a form before I left and asked for a number that I can call that someone will actually answer. Instead they gave me the number listed online which is just an audio recording. I have emailed with no response as well. I can see where my phone is on the iCloud, all I need is for someone to let me get it. For as expensive as this park is, you’d think the customer service would be better. After someone gets around to responding to me and allowing me to retrieve my phone I will remove this review.
Honestly... this place has always had it all.. currently doing work there new buildings, metal roofing etc... its awesome watching this Waterpark coming to life..Great for Halloween! so much to see there if youve never been at all... you need to! And now looks like way more to do there really soon. See ya out there
I arrived at around 8pm and could only make it through 2 of the attractions. There are no COVID-19 guidelines being followed, the lines were tremendous - even the fastpass lines were long and the concessions lines were long. I do not feel that $50 per ticket is worth it unless there is a limit placed on the amount of tickets sold. From the two houses I made it through, they were OK. Staff is either low or simply burnt out. There were multiple rooms where scare actors could have been, but werent, or rooms where there were scare actors who werent scaring at all. It breaks my heart that I had this experience at Land of Illusion, because it was not like this years prior and I usually have a wonderful time; however, this year was disappointing. I would consider other available options for this year.
Not handicapped accessible at all a hotdog was $5.00 and a regular size Gatorade was $4.00. This Halloween haunt was not worth the non- refundable cost at all. I was very disappointed and the 1star is for the lady fire baton person, the bonfires, and the friendliness of the employers. But I guess they were friendly because they know the place is a rip off. Social distancing was Not enforced nor was mask. We left right away and as I said before it is Non-Refundable. They treated the fast pass people like gods and treated the $50. Patrons like garbage. Never again Never.
As a person who has gone every year I miss shanty and most of the old trail. Big mamas revenge got my nose hit by another person with us because it’s unsafe. Phobia was good but not as enjoyable as my old two favorites being shanty and the trail. The dr. Psycho took out the church and the hospital part which made me sad to see the favorite parts gone. However there was a group of people that cut about 100 people and the workers in the trail didn’t do anything about it... when they said they did. Before we left we went to the manager who had security come talk to us... it wasn’t the cutting that bothered us it was the fact they were threatening the people behind them because we were yelling they cut the line. They were smoking and threatening in front of kids and tons of the people they cut once the workers let them through the other family’s left that 1 plus wait for that trail because they were afraid to go in. Security told us a worker didn’t report any of it when they know better. They gave us fast passes for another night and security swarmed the area to kick the party that was very negative out off the property. My night did get ruined but there were a lot of memories other than that. I’ve been going for several years and will still go next year. I’m more irritated the two workers lied and still let the people who cut all of us go through even after hearing all the threats. Please trust it. This place is worth the money and the whole situation I talked about never has happened in the 10 years I’ve been annually. It’s great for friends and family. I still scream. And they change things every year.Land of illusion PLEEEASE put the old trail back and the shanty back I miss them. And thank you for hearing our concerns
Fun time to celebrate Halloween with 6 haunted houses. We went as a family and everyone had a blast. The kids especially enjoyed the paintball attraction. It was nice being able to enjoy an adult beverage between houses, the concessions were good for the kids as well. Nice that they were opened the weekend after Halloween, was not too busy at all
We went yesterday and the first thing I will say is if you dont buy fast passes or show up super early you wont be able to do all the haunts. We were only able to do 3 all were good haunts mind you so we really dont feel like we got our moneys worth. The Temple and the Trail were both amazing, Dr. Psychos looked cool but the actors were sparce and not really into it. We got in line for the dark ride but people leaving were all disappointed and saying the long line wasnt worth it. I feel like instead of unlimited walkthroughs of every haunt they should set it up so everyone is guaranteed one walk though of each.
Price for admisson was high for a a under construction water park. Firstly the admisson process was horrible and i felt like i was being shook down and patted down. A metal detector and a complete removal of all items in your pocket was really a big hastle and time consuming! Even back packs were gone thru and any food or water even if your a diabetic they didnt care. You had to throw to throw away all consumable food and drink items. Heck they wouldnt even let me keep my pack of cheese crackers! Let me get to the Really Bad stuff now. Ahh you had to rent a little straw like cabana umbrella shelter if you wanted shade it was $20 extra and if you wanted a insect mesh covered cabana it was frigin $53. Food was OUTRAGEOUS grill cheese $8,Hot Dog $8.00 crazzzzy! Reg Hamburget$12 holy Cows!. The most dissapointing thing though was the horrible stuff they had around the water holes. I would say the owners were cheap on not getting Real Sand! The version they have around the water holes has sharp chopped up pieces of sea shells and other hardened pieces of crushed rock and coral from what i saw in 5 diffrent handfulls. A place to get wet and you have room and thats about all Folks. Enjoy it to the Max just not my #1 pick to take the family.
First haunted attraction I’ve ever been to. Paid $55 to see all attractions. Big momma’s was a waste of time, puddles everywhere and there was nothing in there to scare us, wear shoes you don’t mind ruining bc the whole park could be muddy after it rains. Drinks were cool. The attraction where you sit in the car, just goes in the same two circles and then back out, don’t waste your time. Overall the actors were fun, my group had fun. Don’t walk too close to the group in front of you or else you won’t get your pics at the end. Wear a mask. & Don’t spend your money on the mechanical bull. The guy isn’t a real mechanical bull operator, he just spins you in circles until you fall off instead of actually letting you enjoy the ride, they don’t have you sign a waiver and I hurt my hand.
Love the Christmas glow. It is amazing and an enjoyment to be able to drive through and see all the different things and able to tune to a specific channel o listen to Christmas music while going through. Then the little village. It keeps getting better each and every year!! Definitely a new tradition!!
Great time for all. Several haunts to visit each with its own theme. As like all parks, consession stands are over priced but actors make prices worth it. They had midget wrestling there as a side entertainment which they were awesome crowd pleasers. All in all well worth the price.
We love to take the grandson and friends here , we go about 5 times a year, my only complaint is they charge full price for one of us to take them even though we couldnt use the attraction if we wanted to, this brings our cost up to the same as other water parks so we may be going to other parks
Spent $100 for 2 admissions for all attractions . the lady at the entrance made it seem like we’d be able to go through multiple times in each attraction. we got there at 9:15 & left at 12:30 to only go through 2 attractions .... WASTE OF TIME & MONEY . the actors were more funny than scary , i scare my boyfriend at home better than the actors scared us at land of illusion ...
Its quite an interesting place. I went on a Saturday afternoon from 4-7pm and it was great! Had plenty of seating, water was warm and clean.. Didnt see anything weird floating in the water.. I really think they need more lifeguards but other than that I would definitely recommend this place! There were plenty of spots to swim around in if you didnt want to do the obstacle course! That pond is pretty large! The fake beach is cool too. The obstacle course had so many things to do and climb up. They had 2 huge slides and about 2 high dive spots! Ill definitely be going back.
As an avid haunted house explorer, this park is pretty high on my list. From Indiana to Flordia this one puts alot of effort into timing and training the staff to scare you. For the money you pay you get your moneys worth. The outside portion of the scare park was by far the best of the many haunted houses within the park. We were easily going through the haunted maze for 20 plus minutes. The characters had fabulous voices, costumes, and personalities for each house. I would say this is a great place if you are looking for one to actually scare you. Compared to other parks that skimp on effects and staff. Overall all 4 of us had a great time. I would avoid the ride though. It was an absolute joke and waste of time. The guy was drinking and running the ride. You go in two loops in the truck with no scares just really bad spaced out decor. I would also recommend wearing shoes you want to get muddy. Two haunts have mud paths. In the end in the 3 1/2 hours we were there we were in the haunted houses getting scared for atleast 2 of those hours. The outside maze was the longest wait but the length of the scare was also the longest and the best.
Love Land of Illustrations, didn’t realize it was so close and affordable. The kids had a blast and it’s most definitely a place everyone should go to at least once. Since going the 1st time we go at least once a month in the summer. It’s a must do for everyone and I promise you won’t regret it.
Everyone is always welcoming and kind. The staff is very dedicated in what they do, whether its horror or Christmas. However, price for the Christmas lights was higher than any other in the area and then everything else inside costs extra as well. Lower the prices to get returning customers. Id come two or three times a season with different groups but simply cant afford it.
I agree with other reviews on here that no social distancing measures are taken once you enter the park even though it says there would be on their website. We were one of the few wearing masks, most of the actors did not have masks on. Several actors got inches away from our face which made us feel uncomfortable, one actor even asked us why we had masks on basically saying we were scared. Mystery Mansion and Big Mamas revenge were a waste of time, other than that the other 5 attractions were pretty good. Fast pass was definitely worth it.
Usually I would give it 5. Every other year I would. Not this year. Fast pass is supposed to get you in shorter faster lines. Not this year. Pay 75 bucks and you watch the general admission line go through before you. In fact in the new dark ride the girl thought it was funny to let the general admission through first. The dark ride is a waste of time as is Big Mamas Revenge. Big Mama is nowhere to be found. It is indeed a maze that takes all of 10 min to walk thru. My advice if you go this year is to take your own hand sanitizer, skip the fast pass, dont waste your time on the dark ride or big Mamas or really even phobia...unless you like walking in the pitch black for a few min. After this experience with the rip off of the fast pass I dont know if Ill be back. And I have been every single year since 1997. ( Haunted trail is still awesome tho. Im just upset over fast pass experience. Not cool.)10/24/20205 stars! So I just wanted to give the general manager some credit here. He went out of his way to make things right. Gave us 2 fast passes to come back. Got to Land and at the will call window they only had us down for general admission so had to pay for an upgrade. I was a little disappointed. But I emailed the general manager and let him know. He asked that I come up to customer service and he gave me my money back. I feel like he really went out of his way to make things right. I really appreciate that. The haunts have also gotten progressively better. Especially Big Mamas Revenge. More actors and fast pass moving fast...as it should be. All in all much improved and a great place to go to get away from all of the restrictions being placed on us lately. Way to go Land!
We experienced both areas of the water park. The childrens area has a height limit but it wasnt enforced. The larger area for children older and taller was pure chaos. There were two people working the life jacket tent and they didnt double check sizes, proper fitting or nothing. People grabbed a life jacket and away they went. The lifeguards on the obstacle course were lackluster and barely enforced anything. There was no set direction to go and people were shoving, pushing and nearly trampling each other. The beach is small rocks that are blistering hot. The concessions are small portions that are overpriced. Not an experience worth the outrageous price paid for admission. The only good thing is parking was only $5.
The place was amazing.. But I feel like we got ripped off . The lines were very long only got to see two of the 7 attractions really bummed out .stood in line most of the time , rude people were cutting in line . The two attractions we got to see were good though loved the actors. Not worth 110$ for just admission.
It was about the same as it was 8 years ago i actually think it was a little better then... We bought fast passes because the lines were 2 &3 hours long..even with fast passes we only got to go through 4 of the 7 haunts due to very long lines.....NOT WORTH THE MONEY...$320.00 2 KIDS 2 ADULT FAST PASSES.
Absolutely love this adventure park. The Christmas glow this year and last year was awesome well worth the price, the lights this year were absolutely set up perfect I enjoyed the longer trail and more lights this year. The haunted nights are always a blast to go to. The new phobia attraction was better than expected and I enjoyed all other attractions along with the zombie sniper patrol and it’s always fun to ride the bull and the gyro but the demon drop is my favorite thing up there. I haven’t been able to make it out to the aqua adventure park yet but if it’s half as good as the rest of the events I’m sure I’ll enjoy it just as much. Love this place and can’t wait to see how far it grows and helps the community around it.
I took the wife here and it was amazing (For the Haunted house/trail) The haunted House and trails where worth the wait with enough (Content?) to keep you satisficed with the money you spent and time spent waiting. If youre going to come out here, I recommend forking over the extra couple bucks for the fast pass, it allowed us to see all the attractions without to long of a wait for the attractions. Perhaps it was just the day we arrived but their was a single attraction that (Phobia maybe?) that when you get to the end had a lot of fog (From a machine) . I have to guess that either they where using way too many machines in a small area or the output of the fog was way to high for area it was used in, We (my wife and me) are both fairly healthily with no medical conditions that should of made the walk through that difficult. We had trouble making it through it, the group in front of us had to turn around because they couldnt make it through the fog without one of the members passing out, and when we left the group behind us exited and one of the party members barfed.I understand theirs warnings, and a disclaimer, but this all remains the same from attraction to attraction, someone should either look into this and lower the output or place some form of an additional warning that is specific to that attraction, again were healthy adults and still had trouble getting through it, This was the only issue with an otherwise fantastic experience
Love love love land of Illusion. The lines are pretty long so I would highly recommend getting there early or getting a fast pass of ypinwant to get through them all. 100% worth the extra money. However, do not wast your time with the Mastery mansion ride it was a total joke idk how they thought they could pass that off. The other attractions ate amazing and well done.

2021-12-11The Christmas Glow attraction is a family fun time at a reasonable price. The drive-through light show was amazing then immediately after that we parked and went into the Christmas village. It was amazing! The entire family will love their visit. And dont forget to go see Santa!

2021-10-24Land of illusion is always a fun place to visit around the holiday season. You have the Cool water park in the summer but my favorite part of the year is Halloween. I recommend visiting land of illusion for anybody. And dont forget they also have Christmas Glow.

2021-12-24Lots of really nice lights. After, or before, you drive through the light display they have things inside to do. There are fires throughout to keep warm, a gift shop, snack and drink (alcohol and nonalcoholic) shop, as well as a few other displays.

2021-10-17My husband and I came up from Independence, KY (1 1/2 hr drive). We had so much fun. We ended up buying the Fast Pass General Admission ($75), definitely well worth paying the extra $25 for it. The band they had was awesome (AC/DC tribute band), and great entertainment. I would definitely come back next year. One more plus to the night, was that the moon set the perfect eerieness that added to a fun and scary night...

2021-10-24The haunted trail was the best. It was the equivalent of at least 4 haunted houses in one! It was very nice to have multiple haunted attractions in one area instead of driving hours to different ones. Lots of money well spent in props and characters that walked around were awesome! Definitely worth the trip and the price!

2021-07-11We went on a day where the weather called for rain but it had turned out to be a lovely day with only a slight sprinkle. So we lucked out and had a lot of space to ourselves. The staff was friendly and even give you a short ride on a golf cart from entrance to life jacket area, my kids found this to be very fun. Place was very clean, even the bathrooms were pleasant not messy at all which amazed me cause Public restrooms are usually nasty at places like this. My kids can’t swim yet so unfortunately we didn’t get to play a ton on the floating obstacle course cause they were scared even with the life jackets. I expected the kids area to be a little bit more shallow but it wasn’t and it’s also very hard to jump up onto the kids course cause the step is made different ..which is understandable but even the kids had a hard time getting onto it. We still had a GREAT time together though and found ways to entertain ourselves. Oh and they serve alcohol, their turtle bucket was amazing! I will say I was sad to see that the price to get in did not match the information found online and it was $32 a ticket, even for the kids (8&9) because you have to be pretty dang short to qualify as a child. And don’t pack a water bottle or drink of any kind as you’ll be sent back to your car. We stopped at the souvenir hut on our way out, it’s a small little shop but happy we stopped in to check it out. If anyone from land of illusion happens to read this, I suggest opening the souvenir hut door or getting an open sign cause I walked by several times thinking it was closed because it’s so dark. All together there’s a few minimal things that could have been improved however I’m stoked that there’s something close to home that is different and so much fun and I will definitely plan another trip out in the future. I’m giving 5 stars and can’t wait to create more fun memories with my family and friends here! Thanks for a fun day land of illusion!

2021-10-23Love this place to be honest. Talented actors that act through the crazy weather rain or shine they are dedicated. The facilities are always clean the bar is well kept and the concessions was amazing didnt taste like everything was made in the microwave. Absolutely love this place definitely recommend even to travel to have a vacation just to see it is well worth it the Freddy was on point you dont really get to see too many Freddys in haunted houses so that was nice definitely would give it 10 Stars if I could

Temple of terror was definitely the best! was very nice experience! Lots of fun & scare, drinks were on point! All the Monsters lurking around are very involved and they look amazing! Love this and will definitely come again in a couple years! Definitely recommend, I made a 40min trip😁

2021-10-02This was our childrens first experience here, AND their first experience at a haunted house/attraction. This is where they wanted to come to for their birthdays! They especially loved the photo ops with the monsters and cant wait to go back!
