Me and my wife toured lake pointe and absolutely loved the apartments here. The view of the lake and all of the amenities that came with it, absolutely beautiful place! Bri was absolutely amazing, super easy to work with so flexible and took absolute pride in her job letting us know about everything and knew all of the answers to all of our questions.
My new apartment is immaculate, thanks to the excellent management of the community. Maintenance service is very responsive, and management ensures everything is perfect in your new apartment. Very lovely community, quiet and safe environment. Beautiful views of woods and lake.
I do love my new apartment especially the view but you really need to do something about the internet. I cannot believe in 2022 an apartment community has internet this horrible. I did not get the internet offered through the apartment but I went with Cincinnati Bell-I literally can only have 1 thing connected and still barely works.
Nice amenities if you care about that kind of thing. The apartments themselves are fine, and the ponds are really nice.Unfortunately, the internet is terrible, to the point where its a deal breaker. As someone who works from home, I cant accept random unannounced maintenance, down times whenever someone sneezes too hard at the ISP, and Im fairly certain they bricked my modem I purchased myself when we first set it up.They own the ISP though, so they have a captive market; the only alternative is Cincinnati Bell, who told me they only provide speeds of something like 10mbps--hilariously low speeds in 2021.So if you dont mind incredibly unreliable internet, its a nice place, but if all your work and play and socializing is done primarily online, youre going to find this place a nightmare.(FYI, the internet is down at the time of writing.)
Five stars for the community and the amenities provided. It’s a wonderful place to live and enjoyed my time here. However I am deducting 1star for the office staff. Don’t get me wrong management is great! I also loved the on site maintenance for my minor issues. I would rather chew glass or stab myself in the leg than talk to Angie. The fact that she has a job amazes me because she is the perfect trifecta of utterly incompetent, stupid and rude. Overall, great community, no assigned parking through.
I recently moved to this complex and it was the easiest and smoothest move-in process I have ever encountered at an apartment complex. I needed to move in fast, and within 48 hours, I had toured an apartment, signed a lease, and got the keys! The staff was very helpful and provided clear instructions for the move-in process. Not only is the staff nice, but the complex and my apartment are beautiful. It feels so homey already, and the views of the lakes make it feel so peaceful and serene. Also, the apartment was incredibly clean when I moved in. This is definitely my favorite apartment complex Ive ever lived in! I am looking forward to living here for many years!Shout out to Angela in the office; she is amazing, so friendly, and so helpful!
Everyone at the office has always been so helpful to me. Angela, Bri, and Brandon. This is my 2nd apartment I have rented with Lakepointe. I moved out a few months ago and decided to come back and rent a different apartment and Im glad I did. I love it here. The office staff really cares and wants to help in any way they can. This place is a 10/10Update as of 01/03/2022: this is a review in regards to the new Amazon Hub Locker in the Lakepointe apartments complex.I had a little hiccup happen at the Amazon hub when I went to pick up my package. As I normally do, I scanned my barcode the door usually pops open and it’s all pretty contactless. This time the door was somehow jammed and wouldn’t open but it tried multiple times and then a prompt came on the screen saying that I needed to contact customer service and so I did and they verified who I was and Within five minutes, they solved my issue. All I had to do was push on each corner of the door that the package was in, kind of bang on it a little bit, and then the woman helping me, gave me a code to enter to open the door, and it worked! I love that Amazon hub. I’ve had nothing but good and efficient experiences with itThanks Lakepointe, for this awesome and convenient service you have provided! Still a 10/10 living here! 😄
These apartments are very nice, kinda pricey but worth it. the staff is amazing, Bri and Brandon are very helpful and do everything they can to accommodate you. however, angela is rude and condescending. if you call and angela answers, definitely ask to speak with Bri or Brandon.
Ive lived here for three years and I love it. I live on the lake so I have a beautiful view from my living room. Im lucky and have nice neighbors. Maintenance always responds quickly to any problems we have and they are so nice. And I love that a washer and dryer are included. And the office staff are always helpful with any questions I have. Only thing is I keep hearing they are putting in a fountain on the lake which would be beautiful. Still waiting. Lol!!
Do not move here. While the location is very pretty, that is all it has going for it. A year and a half after moving in we began to be harrassed by neighbors. We recieved a threatening letter on our door from a neighbor and were assured by Brandon in the leaaing office that it would be taken care of and a community wide reminder would be sent out that this was not allowed. There was never a reminder sent. We also had neighbors banging on our apartment wall and harrassing our elderly dog and were told by Brandon that we had no proof (as he would not watch the video our indoor security camera recorded) and that the banging was probably a squirrel in the wall and he would investigate. There was never a resolution to this. We also had multiple instances of neighbors approaching us in a concerning manner while out after dark walking our dog. We did not report this at the time as our prior reports had been brushed off entirely. When we alerted the complex of our intent to move Brandon claimed initially that we had never brought any of these issues to him, then later stated that he remembered the conversations and said the note on our door was passive agressive and seemed to laugh about it. While Brandon may know exactly who lived near and around us, we did not and felt very intimidated and uneasy in the last 6 months of our residency. After moving out we also recieved a bill for carpet replacement from the property management. This was inconsistant with what we had been told in our final walk through. We were also informed by the property manager that there is no real way to make a complaint about the apartment management.
Overall, the amenities are great; water, trash, and heat are included in your rent. I have noticed and have been told by maintenance team members that there is hardly any insulation between the floor and ceiling of adjoining apartments resulting in excessive noise. We can hear everything our neighbors do from singing, watching TV, to going to the bathroom. It is so bad that our neighbors diagonally up from us have 2 kids that shake our pictures and furniture (which the apartments never said anything to them after complaints.)Also, we have been repeatedly dissatisfied with the maintenance department. They are not very knowledgeable and do not complete all of the work they state they will. Every 3-6 months the apartments send out a checklist stating that members of their maintenance team will be entering our apartments and completing. Things on the list include changing the furnace filter, checking the dryer vent, cleaning the fan in the bathroom, checking for leaks in the bathroom/kitchen, etc. I was here when they came to complete the checklist and they only changed the furnace filter and left. The same thing is true for 2 of my neighbors. Additionally, the shower faucet has been leaking since we moved in...2018. We have told the maintenance department at least 4 times and they cannot/will not fix it. The toilet was not flushing properly for a month after they fixed it, we diagnosed the problem ourselves and had to tell them what part was needed in order to fix it.
This will be my seventeenth year here and it has been a most pleasant experience.Management - the general manager and her leasing team have been veryprofessional and cooperative. Problems are resolved quickly and efficiently.Problems inherited from previous manager have been entirely cared for.Maintenance - the team here have resolved all my very few issues. They are polite and knowledgeable. Only one urgent problem was corrected in the late evening quickly. There are some issues with the grounds around the lake but I have assured that there is a major plan to resolve this - theCovid 19 pandemic has been a serious issue.Even though over the seventeen years there have been rent increases, however, my apartment is still a very good value compared to other units in the Batavia area. The grounds crew maintains the property in good condition on a regular time schedule.I am very proud and happy to live here.
I currently live here and have an upstairs neighbor who doesnt take their dog outside and allows it to go to the bathroom on their patio which leaks onto mine. The office staff takes care of it every time. They even came to pressure wash my patio. The management and team members are all so nice and caring. The complex is well taken care of. Overall, I love living in these apartments and would recommend anyone that is looking for a new place to check this place out. You get what you pay for, no disappointments.
Lakepointe Apartments is a wonderful place! Myaging parents were looking for a nice, quiet, well maintained and safe place to live. I was impressed with the website and everything this place had to offer. Brandon was very kind and helpful. He assisted us anytime we had questions and was very patient with us. We will definitely recommend this place to our friends and families.
My fiance and I really enjoy our apartment. This is our first place and in the 1 year and 4 months of living here, we have had a pleasant experience. When we moved in, it was very clean, bright and overall stunning with the half moon window over our balcony door since we are on the top floor. The vaulted ceilings make it seem less like an apartment and more like a living room in a house. It is pretty good size. And I cant explain how happy I was when I saw the walk-in closet and the fact that we had our own laundry room. For me, that was something I really wanted. Management is really friendly and we have never had a problem with the maintenance crew. They usually leave a notice a couple of days before they know they will have to come in so you can either plan to be home at that time or just so you know that they will be there. I appreciate that. Havent really found anything to complain about yet..... quiet, clean, easy. Pretty good
I lived at LakePointe for several years before moving to our home. If I ever have to go back to an apartment complex it will only be LakePointe. It was worth every penny and then some. Apartment living is never perfect but LakePointe comes as close as possible. I have sent many people there and they have all agreed with me. The staff are always eager to help and drop whatever they are doing for their customers. I have never seen management work so finely in tune with each other. I give credit to the management staff for the amazing service provided by all at this property. If management doesnt work well together than neither does anyone else in my experience. I am quite the critic when it comes to spending my money. I work hard for it and and tend to be a little bit of what the kids call a Karen but I was definitely happy with this place. . They all knew me on a first name basis . Treated me like family and the respect shown by the maintenance department as they entered my home was great. I trusted them and didnt have to worry if I wasnt there. I have never lived somewhere when the maintenance team is on site at all times. This makes a huge difference for residents. Definitely a plus. Thank you for all your hard work. You are killing guys.
My husband and I have lived in Lake Pointe for going on 3 years. We recently had an issue with a neighbor who was calling out rude things to myself and my husband and making us both uncomfortable. Jessica and Brandon were on it! We can’t say enough about how appreciative we are. We love the community and how helpful the staff are. We always (recently) have a good experience with maintenance but we have had a couple instances that were addressed by office staff right away. We love the pool and love the washer and drier that is included! Thank you Lake Pointe! 😊
I really enjoyed staying at Lakepointe and the customer service was on point. Maintenance issues were taken care of within a day or two. They also offer month on month after your 1st year of leasing which was very convenient for us. Overall, they made our stay a breeze. Shot out to Brandon at the leasing office who helped us extend our lease even at the last minute. I highly recommend folks to come and stay here.
Brandon is a star employee, knows what he is talking about and is patient. However Angela can get very rude and on numerous occasions has she “misinterpreted” what is being asked and dosent answer the questions correctly. Gives attitude when i ask her politely to stay to the point and receive the answer i am looking for. But disregards my statements and continues aggressively noting information i did not ask for and continue to stop asking for. And has a very rude “i wanna get off the phone with you tone” Its very unprofessional and has bothered me and my roomates every time ive called throughout the year of my stay and she happened to answer. I recommend if Angela answers the phone ask for Brandon and wait until he can give you a call back.
Office Staff was very knowledgeable answering all my questions about the community and the different types of apartments. Both Brandon and Angela were extremely helpful with the application process and going thru the leasing options. Brandon also provided a follow up to see if I had any additional questions.
For new residents, especially given the rent prices listed for new leases, I would recommend finding a different place to call home in the Eastgate area and stay away from properties owned by edward rose and sons. Here are some of my experience over 4 years.Apartments are loud, there is no/very little insulation between units to reduce noise. Also be prepared to have consistent repair requests because things arent properly fixed, ie, the A.C. will most likely be broken at the beginning of every summer.Maintenance has entered without notice on at least 1 occasion, or let a 3rd party in without notice while no one is home. The internet is extremely unreliable and both parties do nothing to resolve the issues, while lakepointe decides to charge more for this service.Forced use of their brand new package hub, which is an inconvenience to most residents who have now have to go and carry heavy packages a quarter mile that were previously delivered to their door. This is also concerning due to the fact we are still in a pandemic and its forcing residents to be in close quarters to get mail.
Joe has outstanding and excellent customer service, always kind and was able to rebuild my entire closet. During this request he even offered to complete other small issues like changing light bulbs and a new toilet paper holder. Also, after a power outage only half of my electric came back on, I called and Tim responded and was able to repair the issue immediately and was able to get my heat working in no time at all. He has been wonderful each time he has visited my apartment.
Awesome!!! The best apartment we had till date.. We rented a Poinsettia (end of building) apartment on the 1st floor.. We had an amazing lake view and also it was excellently air lighted.. The best community to stay with kids.. Spacious living room.. Kitchen with lots of storage... Spacious walk in closets!!! I can’t stop talking about it!!! Breaks our heart to leave as we are relocating to a different state. Also a special shout out for the staff.. Always ready to help and of course the very polite and diligent maintenance crew... Though unluckily we could only live here 5 months.. LAKE POINTE is the best you can have... Also the pool is very clean and so is the whole property!!!!Will really miss being here!!!!
My husband and I have lived here for almost a year now. As far as apartment living goes, it has been great. We havent had any issues. The staff in the office are very helpful, the apartments themselves are clean with nice appliances, and you cant beat the price! Overall, very happy with my experience here!
My husband and I toured the community yesterday and we loved it, the only issue we have is right now we can’t afford the rent . We loved the 2 bedroom that we looked at. I love to have seen a 2 bedroom facing the lake . Also the 50.00 per person Application fee is too much since we are married it would be nice if it was just 50.00 a couple , also I worry what if we would be denied then we would lose our Application fee . All in all we love to live there if we can afford it. It would be our dream apartment .
Beautiful complex, washer/dryer in every unit, newer appliances, and water and heat included with rent was great. That’s my 3 stars! Staff wasn’t very friendly, and difficult to deal with the majority of the time. Several incidents I won’t go into. When I was moving in I was told I had a Lake facing unit, though the day I picked up my keys it was most definitely not. They raised my rent every 2 months after my lease was up. I did not receive all of my deposit back due to a tiny spot on the carpet that was there prior to me moving in that I had kept covered with a rug, in fact it was cleaner the day I moved out than it was the day I moved in.
We have lived here for 4 years now and we like living here. Very peaceful and safe community for our son. The office staff are courteous and helpful whenever we have had to call them. The maintenance seems to be up to par and comes in a timely fashion, however we wish they would wear the foot covers as they are supposed to have available for requests due to the fact we do not wear shoes in our home. Also, I wish they wouldnt enter my home smelling of smoke due to my sons extreme asthma and allergies in which smoke is a trigger for him, this is quite unpleasant and unprofessional. Overall we have had a great experience here in the new construction of the community and we would rec it to those in need of a nice apartment community.
I have lived here for almost 6 years, I do not like maintenance tracking through my apartment. I have had delivery people and service technicians always put covers over their shoes. I even have a small plaque on my door requesting shoes be taken off, I never wear shoes in my house and even my grandchildren when they were little automatically took off their shoes. My apartment was partially flooded from the third floor. I had to request myself that they come over and clean up water. After 2 days of blowers going off in my apartment I had to request removal. Then after a week I had to request clean up in laundry room from all of the flood residue. No I am not happy about the way that was handled. Then I come home a couple weeks ago and their is stuff all over the entry which ruined 2 rugs and a Christmas hanging. I again called office and they said someone set off fire extinguisher which I am not inclined to believe. I really believe it probably was leaking and exploded as I check fire extinguishers where I work at Fifth Third Call Center. The office help is lacking in professional customer service and always have since I have lived here. All in all maintenance department is good except for the shoe thing. I dont understand why the office doesnt notify you when there is an incident like the fire extinguisher which by the way still is not cleaned up. Office said when it warmed up they would clean it. How warm does it have to get...This is awful and I cant imagine anyone renting an apartment in this building with this mess.
Applied for an apartment by the next day the price was bumped up a hundred dollars and then they call to tell me that the people who were going to move out decided not to move out ( offered another apartment for another 100 dollars a month) so now out 50 dollar application fee and a apartment. No refunds on application fee even though they were the one to cancel the apartment rental. We are military and they were not trying to help our move at all. Rude and just out for the money. Way better and cheaper choices in the surrounding area. Glad we did not sign with them!Update. Thank you for calling and resolving this issue with me. It means a lot to be reached out personally and apologized to. Thanks again!
Ive lived here for nearly 4 years & love it. The staff is great, the maintenance people have never failed to attend to any issues Ive had in a very timely basis and its very quiet. The rents are pretty much in line with other places, but I find the amenities are better, the best being my own washer/dryer!
Ive lived at LakePointe Apartments for over 4 years and its a very safe and nice place to live at. Never had anyone break or steal anything. Most neighbors are nice and respectful. Office workers could be a little more helpful, but maintenance has always been very good.
We have lived at Lake Pointe for over a year now and love it. The apartments are awesome and feel almost like a condo and they are very reasonable in price. The Office staff are among the nicest and sweetest people I have ever met,(I would say something about each one, but am afraid I would forget someone, and I dont want anyone to feel left out as they are all awesome) and quickly address any issues that may arise. Property Manager Alphonso is very nice and always pleasant to work with, you can tell he truly cares and wants everyone to have a positive experience at Lake Pointe. Senior Leasing Agent Vanessa is an absolute Doll, and very easy to work with. I just absolutely love her!! We moved into one of the new buildings so I have no experience with the maintenance crew having to come fix anything, except when they need to do the seasonal maintenance on the HVAC system. They notify us with adequate notice and they come and go without disturbing anything. The complex is clean and very well maintained, and lighting is adequate enough that I feel safe walking my dogs by myself after dark. I love that we are so close to shopping and still have the feel of living in a rural area. The workout room is a very nice perk, and the pool is very pretty and inviting, and we also enjoy having the lake close by for a relaxing evening of catch and release fishing. Our neighbors are very nice and everyone is respectful of each other. The only opportunity for improvement we have right now is that we have people driving erratically and speeding through the parking lots and running the stop signs. I have personally experienced being tailgated and honked at, as I drove through the complex doing the speed limit. Management is aware and doing the best they can to resolve this issue though. All in all very positive experience and I would highly recommend Lake Pointe to my friends.
We have been here two months and have no complaints. We moved into brand new apartments, so no complaints of bugs or anything like other people. I also have had nothing broken into or my car broken into or have heard anything of the sort. My neighbors are friendly as well.Havent had to call maintenance for anything yet though so dont know how quickly they might respond...Also, there are other apartments called Eastgate Woods in basically the same complex, owned by the same people. Not to be confused with LakePointe.
Apartments are spacious, but my toilet stayed broken. They didnt take my maintenance request seriously which ended up my last month having maintenance workers in my apartment almost every day. Also the maintenance workers didnt take their muddy boots off when they entered my apartment and ruined the carpet. Because i was naive and trusted people to be decent human beings and take accountability for their actions and I didnt take photos of the carpet before and after every maintenance visit, I now owe lakepointe 700+ dollars on top of my security deposit for damaged carpet. Will never rent from an Edward and Rose property again. They should be ashamed of themselves. They wore dirty work boots every time they were in my apartment. 🙃 and yes it was more than a one day job. Which is why my carpet was ruined by them. I dont wear shoes in my apartment. Also, now that Im scrolling through reviews, I see I wasnt the only one theyve pulled this with. Wonderful business practices.
Wonderful Apartments! Lakepointe Apartments has always met my expectations for a living situation. The multitude of floorplans makes the community flexible for all who wish to live here. Definitely the best value for your money in the Eastgate Area. - From a verified resident on ApartmentRatings
I stayed here for a year, and the maintenance people at this place are extremely rude as well as some of the residents. I am hard of hearing myself as told to me by my doctor and some times have the tv on a bit high so I can hear it. The residents above me constantly complain and the maintenance people will come over all hours of the night to tell me to turn it down in the rudest possible way they can disregarding that I told them I’m hard of hearing. Also a hand full of times my dog accidentally got the door when I went to open it and the maintenance people will rudely tell you to put them on a leash while I’m trying to get him back inside. The office people here are alright but the maintenance people are subpar.
I have currently been at lakepointe for almost 5 months and dont have many complaints. I love that water and heat is included in the price. When looking for an apartment my bigggest wish was a washer and dryer in the apartment which these do. The only negative is I wish they had a bigger gym for how many people live in the complex. Also a playground for the kids would be nice.
Affordable apartments and they all have a very nice view. Safe place to live. Only downside is that the older buildings are very outdated. Our bathtub kept leaking into the apartment below us and they would knock on our door all hours of the night trying to fix it... Just needs to be replaced along with plenty of other leaking pipes.
My wife and I moved out about a year ago now and a friend of mine is looking for an apartment so I recommended Lake Pointe. If it hadnt been for buying a house, I think we would have lived there forever, we both always had great encounters with the staff, management, and maintenance.
This apartment is great to live in, but do NOT transfer to a different apartment e.g upgrade to a two bedroom. Youre better off finding a new complex, or renting/buying a house. They have literally made this the most difficult and challenging move, as well as charging me over $1300 in transfer fees. Youd think they would just thank you for living there, paying rent on time, and not damaging their unit. P.S. Not Military Friendly.
I would give 0 stars if it was at all possible. My girlfriend and I applied for the apartments to be placed on the waiting list. We had to pay $100 app fee for the two of us. We then had to call a week after we applied just to be told we were denied due to Too many new accounts. Nowhere on the website under the criteria does it state that is part of the approval process. I just recently purchased a vehicle 4 months ago and she had recently opened a credit card, if we had known that was considered- we wouldnt have applied in the first place. On top of that, they NEVER ONCE asked for proof of employment or paystubs. How can someone be denied due to new accounts when you dont even know what their income is?! Shady business practice, unprofessional people in the office. I contacted corporate and I am awaiting a response I will also be speaking with the property manager. At this point I dont even want to live at the complex. But the app fee is outrageous for not giving someone a fair shot of being approved.
Its my second year at Lake Pointe and even though I have had several issues during my stay, the manager Alphonso is very professional. If you need anything done, have a reoccurring complaint/concern, or an issue within your apartment, he is very attentive and will make sure things get done. Great customer service when dealing with him.
Google should include a 0 or even negative rating just for this apartment. Terrible experience. I booked a lease with this apartment but before the move-in date I had to move to another city. So I requested for the full refund of the booking fees, but still havent got it back. The front-desk lady said it will be refunded only after someone else moves in to that apartment. Why not make this clear in the beginning? I was told there would be a full refund without any issues.
This apartment has been a pathetic experience for me. I asked leasing consultant who works there during the application process and had to give the security deposit($500.00), but as I had to move to other state, and when I cancelled the application and sent a written format of my cancellation and request. They literally said your deposit is not going to comeback until the apartment is rented. Im not worried about the $500.00, but at least the girl who works there need to mention the rules and regulations before moving IN. I wish there is zero rating.
LakePointe Apartments is a great place to live. The girls at the front office are very nice and helpful. But every Wednesday they have an outside landscaping company named Louiso Lawn Care come out and mow the grass. These people consistently block residents cars with their trucks and trailers. I have asked the front office if there is anything they can do and I was told there have been complaints before and they would talk to the manager about it. Weeks go by and week after week the trucks still park side by side blocking multiple cars from backing out. So I decided to talk to the landscapers themselves. Two of them were just sitting on the riding mowers talking to each other. They said they would try very rudely, but again next week there they are blocking people in again. There is a reason these guys are mowing lawns and its not because they are good at it. I have lived here for over six months and love LakePointe but those landscapers from Louiso Lawn Care are completely rude and unprofessional.
Lakepointe is a great place to live. Whether youre young or old, they have accomidations for everyone. Its a quiet, safe, friendly place to bring your family and pets. Its nice to feel like there is always something to do here, whether it be people watching when they walk their dogs on your patio or balcony or getting a quick workout in at the fitness room. I plan to be here for an extended time in the future and cant wait to meet new neighbors this coming summer when the pool opens!
Never had such traumatic experience with any property management. Moved in to a fairly old apartment just about 7 months back. Created service request for kitchen counter top which is peeling off in a corner. Management is saying it is our fault and ripping us off charging for the whole cost of replacing the counter top. When questioning the reasoning, the management couldnt be any more rude, not even listening to what we have to say. Keeps saying Whether you agree or not, you have to pay!
Lakepointe apartments are beautiful, family friendly, and built with great quality. After researching different complexes Lakepointe is most certainly the nicest and most affordable complex in the area. I found out about Lakepointe through a friend who lives in the complex so I was able to learn about the complex prior to submitting an application. The application process has been easy and you can tell all the employees at Lakepointe take pride in providing outstanding service. I am so excited to move into this beautiful complex that comes with quality amenities for the tenants.
I lived in LakePointe for a year, and after only 6 months I was ready to move out! Office staff is rude and unprofessional, apartments are built poorly, and maintenance is inattentive. Living on the 3rd floor was terrible! My AC was out for almost 2 months before maintenance decided to finally replace it! I had a leaky roof IN AN APARTMENT THAT WAS JUST BUILT IN 2012! I was so excited to move into Lakepointe prior to my move to Cincinnati, but I will NEVER recommend this complex to anyone I know!
I love these apartments, but the biggest downfall is a the horrible parking situation! They need to give designated parking to tenants! 2 Parking spots per apartment! Designated guest parking and designated parking would be much appreciated! With that being said, the apartments are beautiful, and the rooms are spacious, the closets have tier shelves, the laundry room is great from additional storage, and the first floor apartments, to have that walk out and back patio is amazing! Only downfall the parking is chaotic!
The apartment complex is very nice and clean but the office staff has terrible customer service skills. The girls in the office are incredibly rude and they never have answers to the questions I ask. It is a safe and clean environment but I wouldnt recommend leasing from Lake Pointe to family members or friends..
Lived there for about 8 months and loved it. The 3rd floor apartment we were in was beautiful, maintenance staff was prompt and effective at fixing a couple minor things that went wrong, and it at least felt very safe (Id leave a car running unlocked in the morning to heat it up every day in the winter). Some odd perks were unlimited free hot water (some sort of large-scale system for the whole building that was apparently inexhaustible), super low utility bills since natural gas was included in rent, and a really nice complex to walk around (except for enormous amount of waste from the geese, which of course if unavoidable if you have lakes). Also, if you dont mind being out in the suburbs, the location was amazing. Eastgate has the best grocery stores (Jungle Jims, ALDI, Kroger) all right next to each other, a decent mall, and tons of other stores. And youre only 25 minutes from East Fork Lake, which during summer months was a wonderful place for a picnic or hiking.
Ok so let me begin with saying I wish I could give this place a zero. First, I got in touch with this complex End of May 2017, did a walk thru of a one bedroom apt model home and liked it very much. I was told there is a priority list and I needed to fill out a application and pay a $50 fee. I was told that I would have apartment come late July. So I thought okay thats not a too long of a wait. But I also told them I would be interested in a 2 bedroom also so let me know which one opens up. I asked them how many people are on the priority list to which they couldnt tell me. I waited and never did I ever get any proactive calls from them reassuring me that I am still on the list and I will get an apartment. They told me that its hard to give an exact time which I get but if Im on a so called priority list than I better get an apartment. So I call back after waiting the timeframe I told and they said well for a 1 bedroom the wait time is till October to which I said you realize waiting 4 months for an apt is absurd. They told me they had a 2 bedroom for me if I wanted it. I said okay well can I see it they said no I cant because they dont have model floor plan of the two bedroom. They told me I had 72 hours to bring in the deposit. I asked them what if Im unable to get to you due to me working your standard 8-5 and they close at 6. She says well in that case we would have to revluate your application to see if your serious. I said if I wasnt serious I wouldnt have paid the fee and waited for an apartment. Well anyways long story short this place I feel like creates a fake low supply high demand scenario for applicants. You cant tell me I have to wait 4 months for a unit when you have over 650 Apartments. Oh also if you pay the $500 deposit for a unit and on the day of move in when you see the unit and dont like it the money in NON REFUNDABLE. So basically your blindly supposed to pay that huge sum of money for something without even seeing it and if you dont like it your screwed. Its like putting a down payment on lease car without seeing or test driving the car your supposed to pay for. What a joke.. steer clear from this place all you will get is a bunch of wait time and no apartment.
Spent one year here and would not even consider having someone pay me to come back. Absurd fees associated with pretty much every visit to the office, didnt fix a leaking window in the bedroom the entire time I was there, maintenance will come in your apartment without asking and track nasty boot prints everywhere, terrible.
Nice apartments but wouldnt refer it to a friend. My sisters car got hit in the parking lot, no cameras to see who it was. Lots of spiders when you live next to the lake and they always find a way into the apartment. Other than that it was fine. We lived there for about 11 months. Dont get 1 little stain on your carpet though or you will have a $1000 carpet bill when you move out...
Lake point is worth to money. But I feel few basics is missing, no kids playground area, No benches for joggers, walkers. Lake pointe is restricting to get higher speed internet providers. Cincinnati Bella offers 100mbps but lake pointe is restricting them to provide more than 30 mb.
I live across from the club house. It is after 9pm. There are 30 children on bicycles have ing a great but very loud time. This occurs nightly especially on weekends. This is growing worse especially with the Covid stuff. But yelling kids is annoying and they are not following guidelines for social distancing.
Lived here for a year and it did the trick. Nothing special, but nothing that would be a deal breaker. I would recommend getting a new unit though because my older unit smelled a little smoky. Otherwise, this place was sufficient for what I was paying in monthly rent.
I have been living in this apartment since last 2 years I like it very much but i have some problem with internet. There is only one internet provider cincinnati bell and giving maximum speed of 30MBPS. I called spectrum and they told your apartment owner does not allow us to install new service.
Horrible management. All those useless females in that office should be fired because they dont know how to handle customers, they dont know how to handle your queries, they dont know how to act professional, they dont know how to handle your info. in a confidential manner, theyd ask your personal info. out loud in front of everybody, they will hang up on you if they cant handle your request. nobody will respond to your emails. Poor customer service, poor management skills, outrageous application fees.
Office people are lovely but they use RentGrow for screening.. they’re a scammy company and make it impossible to get ahold of any real person to dispute when they input incorrect information causing a denial. I really loved their complex but unfortunately their third party screen company is not worth the risk or trouble. Again, office people are rather nice but did hear other unfortunate stories but that wasn’t the case for myself.
My friend and I did a walk through at Eastgate woods. He is looking for a place to move into and this would be his first place. As we were in the office I over heard a woman (Shawna) making Homophobic comments about him. I was highly discussed. How unprofessional, no class, type of person. I would never have thought this day and age that someone would have ever of said that. Yes he happens to be gay but why would you care! I would highly suggest going somewhere to look for a apartment then this crusty bed bug ridden place.
I am just writing this review to let everyone know DO NOT USE THEIR INTERNET SERVICE. You will end up without internet for the whole weekend. I have been using their internet for two months now and I have faced two outages so far.You have to call their internet service provider CCI and they cant do anything to support you. They rely upon leasing office to fix any issue. The leasing office only support outage Monday- Friday. So if you have the outage Friday night you are without internet for the weekend.
Check my photos of my apartment I posted. Like leaking roof? Poor management? Unprofessional? Inconsiderate landlord? Ignored emails? Ignored service requests? Trust me, the list goes on. Even went as far as to block me from posting the pictures on Facebook to warn other people.
Worst management. They talk very sweety and say they have demand of apartments and waiting list. But once you get in very bad service. They enter u r house with muddy boots when u r not at home, though u ask them to enter only when u r available .They repair very good first few months and later never respond to requests for months. They talk to people very rudely though u always paid u rent in time with no other problems.Worst management ever seen.I lived in almost 6 different apartment places and never saw such a rude and worst management.I lived for few years and see some people change in management , but still the same.I finally quit living there as I was extremely vexed with their rudeness towards people. One star just for the view from my balcony. If that was not there I would give 0 or minus Stars if possible.
Do not apply here unless you want to apply to a place that does not support our U.S. Troops. I Give Lakepoint 0 stars for not supporting U.S. Troops. I am a veteran and deployed and my boyfriend is also a veteran deployed here with me and when filling out the application he made a accidental typo on his social security. Lakepoint was notwilling to provide options for us U.S. Soldiers deployed overseas. So if you want to live somewhere that supports our U.S. Troops and Veterans then dont apply or live here.
I absolutely love living at LakePointe...i live on the 3rd floor which has a cathedral ceiling making it condo like...The management and office workers are very friendly and will help the residents with anything...The maintenance and ground crews do an excellent job of their duties...Its pet friendly...Also, the rent includes free heat, water, and trash...ive been living here since last July and plan on living here for many more years to come...
As a new tenant of Lake Pointe Apartments, I cant say enough good things about it! The apartment I just moved into was so nice and clean and pretty! Im especially excited that it comes furnished with a washer & dryer in my unit. Even though Ive only lived here a short time, I am very impressed with how they maintain the common areas, respond to requests, and the friendliness of the staff. A++ rating!
10/10 would not recommend any one trying to get a apartment here save yourself the trouble and go elsewhere there’s a reason They have have terrible reviews it’s all a game they try to make as much money out of you as they can when you move out save yourself the trouble and don’t move here
Management staff does not care about the renters. Windows sweat and mold in the winter time and management says theres nothing they can do and that thats normal(Im sorry I have Owned a home and lived in other apartments and never have I had this issue except with these cheap windows Lakepointe uses) Rent has went up $20 a year for the last 3-4 years, maint enters your home and does not leave a ticket letting you know they were there. Outside of the annoying things like only being able to have Directv or Dish the Batavia area is nice.

2022-03-18Ive really enjoyed living here over the last three years. Any time ive had an issue (which hasnt been many times) Angela and Brian or others in the office have been super helpful. The maintenance crew is quick to respond to requests and are polite and courteous when working. They also do a good job of keeping the grounds looking good. Most of the people who live here seem to be respectful and polite to one another.

2022-01-27LakePointe is a beautiful and well maintained community. It has a convenient location next to Eastgate and all the shopping and restaurants. I love that it has a gym and a pool. My favorite thing about my apartment was having a washer and dryer and heat included. Not too mention the views. I would highly recommend my family and friends to live here.

2021-12-30I love this place. The pool is awesome! The clubhouse is so nice! The 2 bedroom apartment was exactly what I needed. The staff is extremely helpful. Had to move for my job, but if we ever move back to the area we’ll definitely be back.

2022-02-07Beautiful apartment, 3rd floor with vaulted ceilings and washer and dryer in the apartment so they are maintained by the apartment community. Great view from my balcony and the grounds are always well maintained and my neighbors have always been great. 6 year resident with no intention of moving

2022-02-02This is a great place to live. A bit older and hence some issues. But the maintenance staff are friendly and quick to respond and the process is smooth as well. I will always recommend to others. One limitation is they don’t have children’s park . Office staff are also friendly. Grounds and facilities are kept clean.

2021-12-30Although I ultimately didnt end in this community my experience throughout my decision making process was fantastic. Bri was Amazing, friendly, super helpful, and always honest and knew all the answers to my questions. The community is very nice and the units are excellent(the lake was my favorite spot ). If my circumstances had been different I definitely would have chosen this community as my home and would recommend this place to many more!

2022-02-08I live on the first floor with the lake right outside my door and yet I cannot use my grill to barbecue. This is so ridiculous and is the main gripe I have about this apartment community. Other than that everything was good. Maintenance is very responsive and takes care of things immediately if needed. The grounds are kept beautifully.

2020-08-26Great place, super nice atmosphere. Great big meeting room available for family gatherings if your place isn’t big enough. Pond on site. They even provide doggie doo stations with bags available.
