The management team is great. Sandra helped me in my time of need and ill never forget this during the epidemic. Everyone is really friendly and i would advise anyone to move in right away. You get so much space for a descent price & privacy as well. All smiles!! thank you.
I would not recommend this place to anyone unless you are young as just starting out. Lolita is the absolute best leasing person in the office and she really does try to help anyone. The maintenance staff are all super cool and they work 24/7, I give them praise for that! The building itself is old and definitely starting to show signs of it. Recently we had a day or rain and the the dealings on the outside of the building need to be replaced. As a result our master bedroom turned into a swamp. The rain leaked in from outside and the apartment above us. Its been 3 days and our floor is still wet and our apartment smells like musty dirty unmentionables. We have had the water go out in the entire apartment 4 times since weve moved here in February and usually it is out for 24 to 72 hours. The bathrooms are beating ground for mild in your shower. No matter how often or much you clean it seems impossible to keep the mold out.We do appreciate all the diversity in the building. People from all walked of life and all ages can be found here. The workout facility is what was s major selling pint but its total crap. All the machines are broken in one way or another. When we went to go run on the treadmills they literally shake and can cause your to really hurt yourself. Owen our lease is up we will NOT be renewing. They just raised the rent by $100 on all units, at least because of who knows why. But you pay a lot of money to live here and we still dont know why.
My best viewing experience ever! Quinton Green has the patience of Job! Mr. Green was always professional, courteous and accommodating when I came to view apartments. Mr. Green deserves an A+++ for his efforts. He’s an excellent person with excellent customer service skills. It was a pleasure working with him and I am sure that I will see him around the building after I move into my lovely apartment 😊.
I lived in these apartments for a year and I would definitely say pay attention to those low reviews because they are telling the truth. I would also say to anyone who has moved out recently to check their accounts and make sure you are not still being charged. There have been a lot of changes in management recently and they do not seem to be able to keep track of their paperwork. I moved out of these apartments at the end of July and thought I was through with these apartments. At the beginning of September management called to check on a repair ticket from July. This is how I found out that they are still charging me rent and late charges. I dont know if these apartments are trying to scam me or if they are just truly disorganized. Something that should be so simple to resolve is turning into such a big issue, so all I can say to anyone thinking of renting from here is to beware.
Honestly, the workers are great. Whenever I have a problem or a work order needs to be placed in they immediately get to it. I love my apartment its spacious, great view and lighting and i personalized it. I have seen other apartments which are small and not like mine (of course their are really fancy ones) but for the price I am paying, I wouldnt trade it in the world.
The apartment was gorgeous, very nice staff. We have been looking for an apartment for a couple months now, and Lake park towers was here to help us out. We had difficulties with other places because one of us were 21 and not the other, Lake Park Towers is 18 and older. Also very helpful knowing the people in the building have had a background check so we know that were safe in our own home. Come check it out!
Arent.I lived at Lake Park Tower Apartments from May 2016 until March 2017. It was the worst almost year of my life! Things seemed OK until August, my apartment as well as my friends apartment next-door to mine both flooded! Our apartment is flooded multiple times and little was done to fix it. The management was nothing but rude when we would inquire and I Felt personally threatened. There were reports of bedbugs, I had a huge welts on my back and when I went down to security to inquire one night I was informed that people were signing waivers if they wanted to stay. I inquired about it with management the next day and they denied all claims of bedbugs. The entire building smells, your air conditioning and heat barely work... unless the air-conditioning is flooding of course. If you are looking for a place to live in Cleveland, go anywhere else but here! It is been over a year and I still have emotional trauma thanks to this apartment complex and its management. Simply reading through these reviews has made me just into tears because I remember just how bad it was. I will never forget how they made me feel nothing but like I was a piece of garbage, except of course when they were collecting my rent.
Let me start with saying, most of the reviews here are written by management, I do have enough evidence in these reviews by themselves as most of the reviews gave 5 stars just by having a tour, lol.The manager in the building got no clue how she behaves with tenants, she is the worst of all the people, I came across this building.About the building there were areas of mold building up in the walls and windows always leak if it rains. The parking is 25 bucks, for each car and the p area is a joke by itself with lot of potholes everywhere. They will not refund your deposit even if you get your apartment cleaned after you leave.Only plus of this building is views, that’s all the machines in gym never work. From past 2 years they have been saying they are planning to get new machines but never happened. There is no water pressure in the faucets most of the time, they give a silly reason for that saying the pool is being filled, really in winter you are filling the pool.By all means avoid this building and find a better place. The security personnel are very sweet. Thats the only plus i would say.
I was inquiring about the apartments this week and was assisted by a very personable leasing agent, DJ Rucker, who took me on a tour. I notice smells first, so I have to say the building maintained a pleasant smell throughout the tour. I didn’t come across any foul odors or anything repugnant. I viewed a studio apartment and have to say it was a decent size and in decent condition. All appliances were electric, so if you prefer gas, this wouldn’t be the place for you. The workout area had amazing views: it overlooks the downtown area on one side and a tree dense area in the other side. The area was not super big or over crowded with equipment, but it was a decent size and had enough equipment and free space to get a nice little workout completed, or utilize a yoga mat for your routine. There is also a space available for rent for on-site parties and gatherings. DJ shared that the room capacity holds roughly 75 ppl. It was decent. I was not able to see the pool because it was being cleaned, but I was glad to know it was being cleaned. I also saw the laundry facility, AKA the laundromat, which was really nice. It really has the laundromat feel and prices were 1.99 to wash and 1.99 to dry. Overall nice tour. I did ask about noise and was assured that noise did not travel between rooms easily. The apartment is in my top 3 list, probably at number 3 for lease potential. Thanks again DJ for a through tour and answering all my questions. Also the studio had nice natural lighting, so if that is important to you, this has that.
Update: My car was broken into along with many other residents cars. They actually had extra security that night and multiple cars were broken into. Had to pay an extra 177 this month to fix my car they couldnt protect. Highly considering breaking my lease and leaving this place. As I am writing this review I am approaching my first month at this complex. I regret coming here. On a positive note, the staff are wonderful. They are not the problem. In the first month of having my apartment here is what has broke or was not working upon move in.The sink leaked when I moved in. It leaked onto an electrical box under the sinkOutlets stopped workingThe A/C has not worked at all since I moved in.It is cheap living, but I regret moving here.
Do not move here. Its not worth the money, time, or energy. My family moved here last August and the amount of issues we have experienced is nothing short of annoying and inconvenient.First, the garage doors malfunction OFTEN.Second, the elevators shut down OFTEN.Third, there are bed bugs. We noticed a bed bug on our couch and informed the leasing office. They told us to pay for half of the treatment which we did. We assumed that it came from my sons school or somewhere else. We have never experienced bed bugs prior to moving here. However, after talking to other tenants, we became aware that a number of tenants reported having bed bugs. No one from the leasing office told us. We literally had to talk to other tenants to find out that the apartment building was having problems with bed bugs. The guy who live next door to us told us that he saw bed bugs in the laudry room! On top of that, weeks after paying for the extermination, we still had bed bugs.Fourth, the leasing office fails to inform tenants of serious and possibly threatening issues. A few weeks ago, the U.S. Marshalls, multiple police departments and the Sheriffs swarmed the building looking for a man for allegdly having inappropriate relations with a minor. The only reason I knew what was going on in my apartment building was because it was reported on the news. No one from the leasing office informed us of what was going on or what had happened.Fifth, the pool does not work and hasnt worked for years.Sixth, the gym is okay, when the equipment works.I could go on and on about this place. The view is nice and the party room is decent. Other than that, its a waste. There are so many tenants moving out. 4 alone moved out yesterday. If anyone is really considering this place, I will personally show you around and show you the stuff that they wont.
A last-minute transfer to Cleveland for a work promotion forced me to find an apartment in a hurry. This place was available. Unfortunately I had no other options on such short notice.A bug in the property management software led to me being charged double rent along with a strange late fee. I had to threaten to go to the housing authority before a refund was issued. The refund took two and a half weeks to arrive, resulting in the regional manager having to become involved.I work sixty hours a week and have to come home to the smell of drugs. I have already alerted security to my neighbors drug activities three times as their marijuana use has been so strong that the smell comes through my walls. Security has personally smelled it pouring through my bathroom walls, but all they can do is document the use and call the police who have never arrived. The property manager herself smelled the odor coming through my walls and left to investigate, but I have heard nothing about it since.A misguided tenant thought my parking spot was hers and demanded that my car be booted. I noticed this as I prepared to leave for work in the morning. I had to go inside, get the security worker at the front desk, and take them outside to show them my parking sticker. The parking spaces are either badly labeled or not labeled at all. I had to find a good label and count off each parking spot in front of security until I got to my spot to prove that it was indeed mine. The boot was removed, but I never received so much as an apology. The stories of shopping carts taken from other properties are real. Tenants move items using carts from Dollar General, Wal-Mart, and other places. The carts are just left in the halls on various floors.Im taking the quick way out and terminating the lease early with the three month payment option. Its painful, but its still worth it to get away from what has overall been a dreadful experience.
The pictures on the website all look nice and the view of the city is actually enjoyable. The management team is also friendly. However, there are serious issues with the apartment building that the staff will not tell you about. When I first moved in, I had to call maintenance at least once a week because my water went out. Maintenance usually takes 2-3 days to work through requests. People set off the fire alarms very frequently - at least once a week, at most once a day. I would not mind the fire alarms except they last on average for 20 minutes and are ear-piercingly loud. The windows leak air and water, so trying to keep the apartment warm/dry is extremely difficult. Most of the workout equipment is broken (cycles, treadmills, ellipticals). Its actually dangerous to use the equipment, except for the jump ropes. The laundry machines are run by a third party, so any problems with the machines go through the company. Trying to get refunds on the machines that are broken is extremely difficult. Nobody labels the machines when theyre broken and as many as 1/4 of the machines are out of service at a given time. The worst thing about the apartment is the bedbugs. No amount of pest control efforts by the management seem to keep them out of our apartment. As a full time student who also works 25 hours/week, the issues in the apartment added way more stress to my life than I felt was necessary.Ive been living in my apartment for about 8 months now. On average, my electric bill is 25-30 dollars. I rarely turn the heat on (even in the winter) and dont cook using the electric oven much. The management team offers reduced rent to people who write good reviews about the apartment though I would really only recommend this place to someone who was desperate. I am pleased with the affordability of the apartment and its location in regards to my university and my job, but with all the problems its just not worth it.
My outlook on these apartments is great, my girlfriend and I loves the place. We live on the 25th floor and its the city view, it is the best view to see especially at night ,and its even beautiful in the day time. We also have a gym that stay open 24/7 ,vending machines that work and kept stocked, washing and drying machines that are very equipped ,24/7 security ,surveillance cameras ,parking garage, secured entry , on staff maintenance .We have only lived here going on 6 months along with my daughter which now she has her own room and she and us loves our new apartment I wouldnt pass this up for anything.
I visited this apartment complex years ago and recently revisited it in regards to a place to move. From the front door to the penthouse... very clean, safe and affordable. Even the tenants had nothing but great things to say and welcomed me... hands down one of the best, that includes Quinton and the rest of the staff!
DO NOT LIVE HERE.Elevators- one is ALWAYS broken. Waited 20 minutes just to get to the top floors.Workout room- somethings always broken. Treadmills are absolutely terrible.Washers/dryers: ALWAYS BROKEN. I cant stress that enough about EVERY SINGLE THING IN THIS PLACE.Parking- a nightmare. You pay $25-45 for a spot and 3 times they had to reassign my roommate a new spot since they kept giving it away to other people. Plus only about 7 guest parking FOR ALL 27 FLOORS TO SHARE.Water Damage- EVERYWHERE. My shower ceiling has leaked three separate times after theyve fixed it, our walls are covered in mold.Windows- TERRIBLE. Even with them closed gusts of wind still come through. The ONLY thing we like about this building is the view. So basically just look at their list of amenities they claim to offer and cross them off besides the view and thats what youre left with.
Nice large apartment. Way too much for the customer Service and care. The ownership and management treat you as if youre just a rent and not a person. After signing a lease, the management decided to make all residents add a required $25 a month parking policy. This may not seem significant until you know it is per car for residents and if you didnt get it, you are threatened with a booted car and $125 fee added to your rent to remove it- which I thought was absurd and the last straw.I wouldnt recommend anyone to Lake Park Tower. Please avoid and find a place with more personable and reasonable management.
Thought this place was great because of how it looks but it’s horrible. Don’t ever rent here! Stay far away! Nothing works, constant water leaks that flood the apartments, rude management, and car break ins that they don’t care to even attempt to compensate you for. Unless you want your windows broken and constant arguments with the manager, don’t waist you time or money. Can’t even bring a guest into your own place without them down your back making threats about if your guest is an actual tenant or not. Plus the area is run down. They advertise “Cleveland” when it’s really EAST CLEVELAND where the roads have huge pot holes, drug dealers and who knows what else! Not even safe to walk to the corner. The police department is know for not showing up for emergencies too. So again, stay away from this place. Not even worth the specials they try to sale you with.
First of all, id like to say, that there are a lot of problems to fined an appartment in USA if youre a first visit the country. So we are really appreciate Kacie and Kelly for their help! the moving process was super easy. So managers and staff is always pesent and friendly with us. Maintenance is really quickly. There is security at the building, which make us feeling sefety! The appartments are nice. Moreover, you should look at the paymant! They are really great for this cost!As for us, we glad that found and rented appartment in Lake Park Tower. Hope we will live here all time with satisfaction!
Let me start off by saying I have lived her 42 years. I really like the property, I like the convenience of the property and the size of the rooms inside the apartments. It is near University Circle where I am a member of many boards. I can walk to any of these locations if i want to, I enjoy walking on nice evenings.
Med students and residents BEWARE. This place does NOT want you. First of all, they were extremely curt and impersonal. Second, my application was denied in FIVE MINUTES FLAT when they ran a credit check and found my student loans and several medical bills that I havent been able to pay off (I had an IUD related ectopic pregnancy that was about to rupture and had to undergo costly emergency surgery last October). Im a quiet, hard working girl doing the best I can and would like a nice, affordable place to live. These people threw me to the side of the curb like useless garbage. Really illustrates the character of this place. Ive never had that problem before and it truly brought me to tears. The cruelty of this place is unreal. Not only did I offer to pay several months in advance, I had a cosigner with excellent credit. These ruthless people still would not budge. So unless you have a credit score of 850 please, save your time and money. You WILL NOT qualify for this place. But there are plenty of much better ones that would be lucky to have you!
UPDATE : I have been living in this building for atleast 7 months now . At first everything was fine and I didn’t experience any problems at all . ( kasey) I think her name was always stayed professional and was willing to help me with whatever I needed. Within months of me living in this building kasey was gone and everything went down hill !!!!! I hardly ask them for anything let alone come down there to ask questions ! Whenever I did ask for anything all I got was ATTITUDE! Starting with Kelly the property manager is nothing but rude , rude , RUDE ! I have recieved nothing but attitude from her everytime I even speak to her . How can you run a building with hundreds of tenants and be rude and unprofessional to them ? She is nothing but MONEY HUNGRY ! It makes me sick to even think that some body would allow her to be a “property manager” with absolutely no care for any of the tenants and such a nasty attitude . She is so concerned with being in peoples business that she can’t even keep the property together ! I cannot count how many times my air has stopped working and I have been miserably hot in my apartment , but everytime I go to the office they have the air conditioning blasting . Also you can forget about having a nice relaxing dip In the pool . They say it should be up by memorials day , but it’s august and guess what ? STILL NO POOL. It’s just filled with dirty filthy water ! The elevators are always breaking down and not to mention walking through some of the hallways that have leaking problems with the ceilings . My apartment is spacious and would have a good view if the outside of the windows could ever get clean ! I just really don’t understand why the rent is so expensive , but yet we can’t get a pool, can’t get clean windows, and have to constantly deal with broken elevators ! What the hell am I paying for ?! I wish I had enough time to write about all the many problems that this building has , but I don’t. I’ll just sum it all up! Tenants are fleeing away from this building , employees are fleeing away from this building , the air is always not working , elevators are never working , kelly is the most disrespectful nasty person I have ever met in my life , MONEY HUNGRY , Quinton is the only one out of the three that has any kind of professionalism, majority of the security guards are pointless and lazy and don’t do anything but sit on their phones except for one . His name is FRED ! BEST SECURITY GUARD THEY HAVE ! he is so thoughtful and helpful ! Also the one maintenance man that we do have is very professional as well and extremely helpful . Bottom line is I wouldn’t recommend my worst enemy to live here ! If anyone reads this that is higher up in management than kelly I would love to reach out to you and express my concern, because it is honestly ridiculous!
Extremely disappointed with the management and there response, we styed here for 2 years, the only good thing is apartment is safe and hd amazing views. Here comes the worse things the leasing office people are very rude, most of the reviews here are fake, the equipment in the gym never works, the parking process is worse half of the time the gate is broke and the all the parking area is full of multiple potholes. The fire alarm goes off for no reason, especially in the middle of the night. They never refund your deposit, will show somekind of pics and say, they got ur deducted for stupid reasons. All in all this place gets 0 out of 5, the main reason would be the management, the parking, and filthy corridors.
I moved to Ohio from New Jersey and the moving process was super easy thanks to Kacie and Kelly. The experience in Ohio has been great. The building is clean and comfortable, with several amenities. The building is also secure so safety is never compromised. I would definitely recommend Lake Park Towers to anyone looking for anyone searching for a safe and clean residence.
I’ve lived here for a week, new to Ohio. Slowly regretting it everyday. I just woke up this morning to no hot water. The heating/ ac unit doesn’t blow out cold air? The noise sounds like a scratching rodent inside of the unit while it isn’t turned on? The fitness gym is dated, the treadmill doesn’t even work? The other treadmill looks like the original treadmill when the building was built. I live on the remodeled penthouse floor And stil don’t understand what’s remodeled about it. The windows are trash. The front door to my apartment constantly shakes from the draft ? The elevators are disgusting. The parking garage is dirty. The entrance to the bottom parking garage has the largest crater not just one but two. Not pot holes again large craters that will easily ruin a vehicle. They have stolen shopping carts they use as luggage carriers lmao! Mind you it’s within walking distance to the dirtiest part of Cleveland. Total rent $954 worth in all honesty $600. Definitely would not recommend
Although it is not a strong 5-star, I still conclude my stay with LakePark is an enjoyable one. Ive been through apartments in Houston, San Francisco, St. Louis, Raleigh so I believe I have a pretty fair judgement on the quality of the place Ive lived in. The pros and cons of LakePark (to name a few) are:PROS:1. Location: not too far from universities and shopping centers, convenient bus line to go anywhere (I lived here without owning a car since my move from Raleigh, and was able to go to work in downtown, shopping, etc just fine)2. Good security: the place is kinda on its own island. I havent seen any security incident during my 1 year living here except for false fire alarms which happen in every apartment complex. I walk to short distances to nearby restaurants many times and havent seen any incident in the neighborhood either.3. Free AC in both summer and winter + discounts on rents of certain month (discounts may fluctuate)4. Strong efforts and investments in making the place a better place to live be it cosmetic changes or adding new RFC-lock for added security.CONS:1. Plumbing can be an issue here although the management is working on improving the situation. Depending on the floor youre in, you may not have it and I suspect it has something to do with hairs accumulated in first and second floor pipes from people living above. If thats the case, I dont think its the management fault.2. If other tenants smoke in their restrooms, you may smell it from yours. Also, the apartment I am on does not have electric kitchen hood which means you cannot cook certain food in the winter if you dont want to stink up your apartment.---I am moving to downtown next year just to be closer to my work and more convenient restaurants. Lakepark can be a good option for students going to CASE or John Carrol or nearby universities. I also believe young families can strike a good deal with the spacious 2-bedroom option they have in here. Finally, nothing is perfect. Do your homework, put things in your own perspective and decide. Try your best to make the situation works for you. Always be kind and be nice to each other. :)Good luck future tenants !!
Ive moved here in May of 2017 & ive never experienced more problems in a matter of 4 months! AWFUL management, pay $25 for parking just for the security gate to not work and car was towed supposingly because I didnt have a parking pass when I pay $25 a month for parking, floor is always flooded from air conditioner, ceiling is falling apart due the apartment flooding above me, hallways wreak of an terrible odor, emergency alarm goes off continuously late through the night, I could go on and on! Avoid this apartment complex, can find better for a cheaper price. One bedroom is definitely not worth $670! TERRIBLE PLACE OF LIVING & management makes it NO matter!
Terrible Experience....had to vacate in 1 year. Unsafe area, Very old building, you will be calling maintenance every other day. Lot of old damaged cars in the parking, Suspicious, smokers roaming here and there in the building. Will find them asking for cigarettes and change all the time. Dont even think of it if you have a family. Office staff is very rude and never helpful. All good reviews you see are probably their own people trying to promote the building. Even if you clean everything when you leave forget your security.
I lived here from June 2014-June 2016 on the 4th floor. I worked long hours (easily averaged 80 hours/week) and traveled a lot, so I didnt utilize many of the amenities that were offered, however heres my honest uninfluenced pro/con list of living here:Pros:-the cost - for an upgraded apartment with an attached garage and most utilities included (not to mention only 3 miles from work) I dont know that I could have done better-the space - closet and storage space within my apartment was more than enough-the staff - everyone in the office, security personnel, and maintenance were always extremely friendly and helpful; arranging the delivery of my furniture before I moved in was also very easy-honesty - they were transparent and told me carpet cleaning would be deducted from my deposit if i didnt get it done at move out before I even signed my lease, and I got all of my deposit back minus the carpet cleaning cost after I moved out-neighbors - my neighbors were very nice; not loud, there is a great amount of diversity in the building which I appreciated. I got to meet a lot of kind people from different walks of life-maintenance - it is an older building; things do break; but maintenance was always quick to respond in my experience. when i first moved in my apartment had been vacant for an unknown period prior, so the AC didnt work. Maintenance had to put a hole in one of the walls to fix it, but it was fixed within a few days, they patched up the hole (cant even tell its there), and cleaned up after themselves-electric bill: I paid between $15-25 per month-hot water - i love hot showers. Some apartments limit the amount of hot water you have access to and how hot the water is. The hot water supply probably isnt unlimited but it surely felt that way :-DCons:-highway access - it will take 15 minutes from this location to get on a highway (it was convenient for me to access work at a local hospital)-it is not the safest area to live in (however the building is locked down and I never felt unsafe at home). I always drove to Beachwood or downtown to access the highways; I drove through east cleveland once at night to get on a highway and lets just say I never did it again. Heading towards the west on Euclid always felt safe... heading east from Superior was uncomfortable-fire alarms - like previous reviews mention... I cannot count the number of times the alarm has gone off in the building. it wasnt that bad when I first moved in, but in the last months I was there it was becoming more frequent.-smoke in the staircase - Ill confirm previous mention of this - I could smell the remnants of cigarette smoking in the main staircase especially in the winter (so I started using one of the alternate staircases which didnt have that issue)-size of the kitchen & bathroom are smallNeutral:-laundry - typical machines; I didnt have any issues with broken machines when I lived there. Sometimes there was a broken dryer, but luckily for me someone always warned me of the broken ones (either verbally or written on paper and taped to the machine); the cost was comparable to other facilities ive used within apartment complexes-elevators - once in a while one would be down, but I think for the most part that hasnt been an issue more recently. I lived on the 4th floor so I generally used to stairs-Air conditioning - Im from florida, so my ability to tolerate heat is pretty decent, yet I still felt the AC wasnt enough on warmer days in summer (luckily Cleveland only has so many hot days). I used a fan in my bedroom to keep cool on those hot days and it was enough-Heat - I rarely needed my heater. The heat from other apartments kept my apartment warm. I had no trouble keeping warm in the winter. even on those feels like negative degrees nights.-transportation options - the HealthLine & train station are ~2 blocks away, there is a bus stop right in front of the apartment - I never used any of these options but it was thereMy overall experience: it was affordable & worked out well for me
I have had such an amazing experience so far! I was in a hurry to find a place because my fiancé is moving to cleveland. I have patients during the weekdays and Quinton was able to fit me in on the weekend so i could see the place. I was able to sign a lease very quickly, Highly recommended
Zoe and Quiton was by far the bessst !! I absolutely appreciated everything they have done for us , and also the patience to talk to us about every little thing make sure all our questions were answered. The building is over all cleannnn !! I respect the respect they give all their tenants . I cannot wait to move in
Lake Park Towers offers affordable living. You get what you pay for. The office managers are very profession and a delight to work with. The management company on the other hand is not professional.Pros: price, heated garage, view, friendly staff. PoolCons:water leaks in apartment from upstairs. The kitchen sink drain leaked for a while. Management company. East cleveland. I can smell people smoking down the hall. DO NOT USE THE TREADMILL upstairs. YOU WILL HURT YOURSELF IF YOU WEIGH OVER 100lbs. The machine stops randomly on you because its made from cheap products. The price and staff is what gives them a 3 stars out of 5 stars review.
Quinton and Zoe are a delight in the leasing office. They are personable and attentive. Living higher up, the view of the city is gorgeous. The building is not perfect structurally, and like all old buildings, will continue to require maintenance. Especially the elevators. However, the people of the building make up for that. Neighbors have ranged from friendly to polite, and represent a uniquely mixed population. This building houses families, college students, and the elderly quite well. It is technically in East Cleveland, but it’s location is nestled conveniently between the border of Cleveland Heights, East Cleveland, and Cleveland. It is a stone’s throw from Cleveland’s Uptown, Coventry is a hearty walk away, and the Cleveland Heights Rec Center is up the street. It’s also on a direct bus line, which also connects to the Euclid Healthline (although you could just as easily catch that with a jaunt down the hill.) five star ratings are rare for me, signifying absolute perfection. This would be a four if not for some of the hiccups that happen normally with old buildings. But it is a strong three. The appliances are more than just builder grade. They are substantial. And with fob entry and front desk security, it is more secure than many buildings I’ve seen. Overall, a decent place to live.
Have lived at Lake Park Tower for 18 years and I have enjoyed being here. Any time I have experienced a problem, it has always been promptly taken care of. The staff has always been courteous, friendly, and always ready to help in any way. Thank you to Kelly, Zoe, and Quinn
I have not made it to the apartment quite yet, but I am definitely looking forward to moving in based on the level of professionalism that was provided in the application process from Zoe. I will be moving from several states away. This creates its own unique set of challenges. I must say Zoe made the process seamless. Cant wait to explore Cleveland!
I am moving to Cleveland from Los Angeles CA, and it was not easy to find a place that was willing to work with me because of my distance. Kacie was amazing and made this process so easy. I move in April. I got the lease signed quickly, and Kacie was so helpful along the way and answered EVERY question I had (I had a lot of them – thank you Kacie).
I have experienced bed bugs, major water damage, favoritism and poor treatment, mold around every corner, unfinished paint jobs, particle board is falling apart in kitchen, mice running in and out from the ac unit/corner of the fridge, electrical gets tripped often, neighbors always out in the hallway boisterously talking all day long and the doors are paper thin can hear every word, the stairwell and hallways in general looks ratty and disgusting haven’t been updated in years, dusty musty crusty.
Rented for my son who attended technical college close by for a year.started off good...rent decent, proclaimed security, etc. his truck was broken into at least 3 times while on the lot. horrible part of town, which was not made known intially. feel like should have been informed since we are from out of state. marijiana smell very prevalent in hallways and elevator. changed parking agreement during last month there from free to montly fee. rediculous cleaning policy upon moving out!!! AC does not work efficiently...not uncommon for apt to read 85 degrees during summer months...maintence called several times. bathroom tiles continued to fall off walls with no resolution. plus will not return security deposit.
Someone burgurlarized my apartment and they didnt send anyone to change the locks... People play their music too loud and the halls wreak of trash and cigarette smoke. There are some questionable looking people always walking around and there isnt any surveillance on any of the floors. Other than that the place is marvelous 😊
Zoey & Quinton was Awesome they did a amazing job they made me understand everything about lake park tower .They made me feel comfortable they Took their time and showed me around the whole building I loved it. Call zoey and Quinton they get the job done with no Problem they are amazing workers every Dedicated to their job😁😉
Zoe & Quintin was great . Quintin was great help with introducing me with the apartment and getting me familiar he explained everything good . Zoe helped me with my lease and she let me know about all the specials and she was great with communication they need a raise !! Lol thankyou Zoe and Quintin
The apartments are nice and you get a great view of Cleveland depending on what floor youre on. New security system and gym are a plus. This place fits my needs as an RN as its close to hospitals and grocery stores. However, the East Cleveland neighborhood surrounding the building detracts from the overall appeal.

Fair for what you pay... Unsafe neighborhood... Smokers on every corner... Weed smells in the bathroom everyday... Ripped off 60$ of my deposit for cleaning an already filthy carpet... Leasing office and maintainance staff are friendly... In general its fair for a very low price rent
I cant believe this disgusting place is rated 4 on google reviews. I am so sure and swear on my childrens lives that the landlord and coworkers down in the office created 100s of gmail accounts just to give this disgusting place 5 stars. I wish i could give this place a zero because theu dont even deserve a 1 star. Dirty place top to bottom, broken roads infront of building, unprofessional landlord/managmenet, dirty parking lots, rude employees, no security, car break-ins, pest infestations ever now and then, gun shots heard at night, dangerous neighborhood........... I CAN GO ON AND ON. PAY A LITTLE BIT MORE AND LIVE ANYWHERE ELSE. DOnt believe me then give this unprofessional place a try. SO HAPPY I LEFT THIS PLACE.
Ive been living at Lake Park Tower for 5 years. The building is very nice and tenants are friendly. The office staff is Amazing and attentive. They accept packages because I get a lot of deliveries,I know my packages are always safe, thats a plus 4 me.The building is clean and they are constantly doing updates, which is very nice.Maintenance is very very quick to respond to my request.I plan to live here for many more years!!
Secure building and parking, staff will hold packages in the package room, great view, renting a studio apartment that is very spacious for a studio as well as recently remodeled and all for an extremely affordable price, highly recommended, I am very excited to move in!!
Worst mistake of my life. Should have searched longer. This doesn’t feel like home at all👎🏾👎🏾 i came and re-edited my first 5star rating they tricked me into writing my first day you guys should re-edit yours as well if feelings have changed. Water is currently off by the way no big deal tho🤷🏾♂️(SARCASMS )

2022-05-13I would have rated zero stars but that’s not an option. VERY GHETTO, WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!! Location is premier to downtown and that is the only perk. My family has had nothing but horrible experiences since moving in and I cannot wait until this lease is up. The property manager is horrible, shows lack of compassion, makes multiple mistakes and is slow to fix them (if they’re fixed at all). The front office never owns up to their mistakes and is complacent. There are multiple maintenance issues and property is poorly kept, I’m not sure how they even are up to code. Don’t her me wrong the maintenance staff is awful, but they have a poor property manager who only allows them to buy a band aid over the real issues. There are so many things wrong with this building that are looked over but they still expect rent which is a cosmic joke if I’ve ever seen one. Leakes, pot holes, broken washers and driers, and the kicker NO AIR UNTIL NEXT WEEK. It’s 80 degrees outside. Their excuse “we are waiting for the boiler to cool down”. Maybe the office staff uses a different cooling system because they have air on full blast while their tenants suffer in the sweltering heat. They are disgraceful and should be ashamed to even be accepting new tenants. Save your money, time, and sanity and do not move here.

2021-08-14Before I give my horrible experiences, there are a lot of good things at this location. Maintenance always took care of me and were respectful from my first day at the location, they fixed a lot of the issues on their dime, and never had an issue with me. For that, I’m grateful to those gentlemen. Front desk always helped me with packages and made sure I was doing okay. But since I moved out I’ve been experiencing an issue. My security deposit. When I first moved into this apartment, I noticed my rent charge was noticeably lower than what it should’ve been: I asked the leasing manager Angela, as well as Ms. Jeanine Sanders about this and they said since I paid First month’s rent everything was taken care of. I asked three times and they told me the same thing.Fast forward to last month, I’ve been calling Ms. Angela daily asking about my security deposit of $400 and where exactly it is, and every single day it’s something else. First it was that the guy in Colorado was in the process of sending it, then she said they reached out to me when they DID NOT, then she said that everything was taken care of. Until finally I called her and she tells me “We saw that your security deposit rolled over into your rent charges, so we owe you no money.” I was frustrated and reminded her what her and Jeanine told me, that it wasn’t my security deposit but my first month’s rent. This location is disgusting! They are shady people and take advantage of all their tenets. Don’t believe the people/emails that say sweet things about this location. They’re most likely fabricated or paid for to make this place look better than what it is. This place is detestable, and have not only ripped me off, but many other people in my position. Don’t make the mistake of coming here.

2018-09-04The building manager is the WORST MANAGER you could ever imagine, she yells at people for no reason and she is a racist, she threats innocent people purely because she discriminates them, until the police officer showed up and told her she couldn’t do so.Management in the building is a mess. The air conditioners leak all the time and even if they came and fix it’s still leaking (My apartment was not the only one that happens, the air conditioners are too old). The swimming pool never been cleaned. Broken machine in the gym never got fixed.

2021-05-31Kelly is one of the worst managers you will come across. when we stayed there. Dont know how it is now. The apartment was okay, the gym machine were run down condition. Only good thing are the views.

2020-11-17Its alright. I feel the price is not worth it. $675 a month was entirely to much for the unit I was staying in. Very old. Needs updates. Elevators, heater, air conditioning always had some type of issue going on. I Needed help during covid. Lost family members and job hours were cut. Management never helped. Just kept telling me how much money I owed and constantly charged my account no matter how much I reached out for help. Maintenance were cool. And the leasing Agents are all new. They got rid of the ones who moved me in which I feel may have caused some confusion that backfired on me. I moved out and they are still charging my account. And I have no clue why. Id say for my first ever apartment... Good learning experience. Now I know what not to do.

2021-03-04I love it here. The view and size of the rooms cant be beat. The new apartments being built in nearby University Circle are smaller and much higher priced. Some changes have been made in the office and the staff they now have as of March 2021 are very friendly and accommodating.

2019-06-01Quinton Green assisted me today. I wasn’t able to view the studio apartments, but he promptly made up for it by showing me pictures and giving me a tour of the rest of the building! He was so attentive, kind, and honest. Extremely personable as well. He helped get my security deposit as low as possible. Being a first time renter I was nervous and stressed but he was with me every step of the way! Quinton you are amazing! Keep doing what you do! So excited to move in in July and live here! With a great view ;)

2018-05-30Beautiful property! Amazing view of the downtown area, very close to Coventry. Has a pool and is carpeted! While yes there is some truth to some reviews, it’s a clean property. Have had no bug issues. The gym upstairs is a very convenient, but the machines up there need some work. Management is actually very reasonable and nice, Kelly and Kacey are very helpful and kind, just follow the rules of the property. Maintenance is quick and speedy. They keep it nice and clean and do a free carpet cleaning every year. They accept packages for you which is really a plus! Very comfy place to live. They have worked on a lot of things and are getting things together.

2018-08-11I work at a nearby hospital and looked at several places before I chose Lake Park Tower and I am so glad I did. Ive been a tenant here for about a month now and I love it. First off, Quinton has been very responsive to any concern that I have or question I come up with. He was extremely professional in showing me the apartment and making sure I was comfortable with the apartment prior to signing the lease. He even showed me the apartment on two different occasions because I forgot a few details of the apartment.Im a very clean person and despise bugs so FORTUNATELY I have NOT experienced any bugs in my apartment whatsoever!! The apartment is very quiet and Im able to have restful nights. I really like the space of the apartment. Im by myself but have 2 large bedrooms, huge living room, decent size kitchen and more closet space than I can even use. At the signing of my lease I received the promotion and makes the price of the apartment more affordable than one bedroom apartments I was looking at elsewhere.I will also say that Quinton and Zoe have been very responsive to the things I request. For example someones guest was parking in my parking spot so I complained to management. The next day, there were signs on every single floor (27 floors in the complex) stating that visitors have specific spots and so do the residents. This really made me happy and reduced the likeliness of someone unknowingly parking in my space. The gym and residential party space on the 27th floor is great. The view is breathtaking and I plan to have an event in the space because it is very clean and spacious.Overall I am happy with my experience and would choose Lake Park Tower if I had to choose again.

2018-08-11I toured the 2-bedroom apartment today and I gave this experience 5 stars. Quinton has been very nice and considering the options, the price plan, together with the overall location, I could not find anything negative about this place!I am prior active military and I moved around a lot. Depending on your objectives, you will weight the pros and cons of each apartment type differently. This place is the high-rise type and from my years of experience living in other high-rise apartments, I have a strong feeling that you will get More from this place than what you actually pay for.
