I attended the new 4-H building for a baby shower. I know what the building has always looked like, myself and my kids were all in 4-H, and I have little ones close to me in 4-H now and as I said I was there for the shower and I know what it cost to rent the building and what it is extra to pay for clean up. I truly dont see it. 👀 I dont see anything that great to justify that kind of cost. Even with an upgraded kitchen, new bathrooms, and I understand this is not cheap but sorry I cant see rental at that cost who is going to be able to afford this? Not the average person when this president finishes crushing this country. And to not replace Carols garden?? Some things you change and upgrade and somethings when you need to temperarly move them You Put Them Back.
Not too large just right size fair for the tiny Tysons and the teenagers.
Too small and crowded. There were only 3 adult rides. We waited 1 1/2 hrs to get on 1 ride. Food was more expensive then other county fair we just went to. We will not return
Always a pleasant visit. The grounds are well kept with ample parking. The fair, itself, was disappointing. About a quarter of the usual livestock, almost no vendors, and even the food seemed less than orher years. The great thing about this fair was the many animals and friendly people willing to tell visitors about them. It just hasnt been that way since they changed the dates. Still a good bargain, but not a great one.
The fairgrounds is great we be there all the time man watching the horses taking care of them even helping out if we can through charity work and the church and pastor Dan so thats whats great about the city of God and the great plan as we see the horses freezing out there in the middle of the morning and we go out there and help the horses and feed them and we take care of the fairgrounds and pick up the litter and were involved in a church and everything so thank you so much painesville fairgrounds for keeping it clean Fair drug-free God bless everybody from pastor Dan Steve with us and emerald
Who knew lake county had a St Patricks Day parade...? I wish I would have known this sooner I have to be stuck in the middle of it because I didnt know whats happening. But how fun!
Clean dumping site for campers in rear by rear exit near horse barns. $5.00 fee leave in a envelope marked used dump and place in mail slot on door by side of sheriff station. Dont put in mail box on post walk to glass door youll see a brass box on building thats it.. open 24/7 to dump under camera too. So clean up and dont not pay.
Great Flea market 👍 I was able to find the new 2020 hat and the classic red summer version.
Well it was too early to take my Afghan so I need to take it back up on the 21 of this month July 25th to August 1 if you get the book in the mail you will get to enter things but the fee is due by July 23rd
Decent fairgrounds for the various fairs, flee markets, and other events that are hosted here throughout the year. Facilities are maintained but the structures and thoroughfare could use some investment. Parking is available but it is spread out in various places over the grounds
VERY disappointed yet again with my Lake County Fair this year. Every year it gets worse. Less animals, less rides, less foods (unless you like seeing a lemonade stand every third vendor), the person in charge of food vendors didnt even know what a churro was (true fair staple), $8 for what?, animals abused, I even saw a poor sheep limping while no one cared, I would have had a better time watching paint dry honesty...

They have some nice fairs here, horse events...etc during the warmer seasons. Its nothing to big but still nice to go to. My only issues is theres no place to buy food or use the restroom. At least some of the times we have gone the areas seem closed off. Maybe it was just bad timing. Overall it wasnt anything amazing, just ordinary.
I had a good time. I enjoyed the music that a band played there on friday.

This is a pretty cool place four children there are lots of things to do lots of rides and activitiesI do recommend you take your child there Im sure theyll have a great time and youll enjoy yourself
We went for Irish festival. They have a better group of performers than Berea. Some are from Broadway and some members of Celtc Thunder.However, new location this year facility was good, but folding chairs were hazardous. I weigh 260 lbs chair collapsed under me. The personnel who assisted me stated that was the second one to break that day.I strongly urge that they get more substantial chairs. I am not the type but with the wrong person possibility of major lawsuit. My wife and have attended for the past several years I found this location a better than the baseball stadium.

Great Fairgrounds. A lot of fun events. I would have gave it 5 stars but some of the buildings are looking kind of rough and they need a little bit of Cleanup and paint.
The fair wasnt as fun as previous years, although I think the staff did a good job. The $10 entry fee was a little steep for a rather lackluster fair.
The Lake County Fairgrounds is one of those traditional Midwest fairgrounds. Its also a great venue for other events such as flea markets and music festivals. It isnt huge, like those in neighboring counties.
Went to the fair there. It was very fun and entertaining. It wasnt hard to find and very clean considering it was a fair ground. I would recommend going to the fair and looking forward to going back.
Always have fun here, go every third year or so as a day trip from Cleveland. Just a basic county fair with a good family vibe and lots of Ohio authenticity.
Not a very good fair. Geauga is much better. IMO, Lake County is just too industrialized/commercialized for a County Fair; maybe an event showcasing our industry would be better met.

Its a good place to go and have stuff to sell or just to see what u can get from others for cheaper and its good to sell if u get bulk from coupon saving its even better for sale to go there

2022-01-22Quite a few rides were not operating at the time we were there. Wasn’t worth the money in my opinion. The kids had a decent time here last summer but we will probably choose to skip it this time around.

2022-05-24For the Fleamarket, theres outdoor vendors, and indoor vendors, with all sorts of reasonably priced items, household, lawn care, clothing, shoes, jewelry, CDs, DVDs, electronics, furniture, tools, you might even find a great car for sale there, and much, much more, plus the indoor consession stand food and drinks are so good and reasonably priced. Now in the summer, the festival is a great place for you and the family, with carnival rides, and games, elephant ears, corn dogs, slushies, and all the other carnival foods you know and love. So whenever you find the time, check out the Lake County Fairgrounds.. aka.. 2018-10-10Its a fair ground. What else can you say? We did the big garage sale in the spring and in the fall. Its a lot of work but the sellers and customers in the spring are more plentiful than in the fall. They definitely need fans inside.

2022-02-01Im not impressed by this Lake County fair, I am very disappointed. When showering there was no place to sit or a place to put dry clothes. Nor hooks to hang up towels. There wasnt even a trash can in the shower room.
