Best customer service Ive received in a very long time. Taylor was patient, knowledgeable and accomodating and Destiny was also very helpful when Id initially called in to talk about possibilities. I never felt like they were concerned about the sale throughout the process. Bravo!
We have been looking for 2 recliners for our island house. I wanted Lazyboy because of my and my family’s past experiences with their products. It was a difficult exercise at best but Alex in the North Olmsted store was most helpful and was able to get us a great sale price and arrange for a smooth delivery for us.
La-z-boy was the last stop for me after a long day of striking out at multiple different furniture stores and outlets and I couldnt be happier with my shopping and buying experience at this location! The staff were friendly and helpful, and I was assisted by the assistant manager herself to help me pick out the right recliner for my living room. She was the perfect example of professionalism and product knowledge without being pushy. She gave me plenty of space to look around and made very helpful recommendations on customizations and alterations to fit my exact needs and preferences. The furniture was high quality and offered for a great price. I am so excited to get my recliner in August! Will recommend this location to friends and family and will also be back for future furniture purchases.
We had been fretting over the new furniture for the family room for weeks. We want it to be delivered after the new flooring is put in but certainly cant wait 7 months for delivery - far too long to be sitting on lawn chairs! We placed ourselves in Pamela Barnes care and she quickly directed us to the perfect loveseat and sofa after listening carefully to what we were looking for. She then checked and found that one set was in stock, gotten it written up in time to reserve it for us and arranged for delivery to be made when we call. Painless!
My husband and I are so pleased with our shopping experience at Lazy Boy in North Olmsted. Relaxed atmosphere with no pressure to buy. Kevin the salesman friendly and knowledgeable he even moved a accent chair over to the set we were interested in so we could see how it looked. Daniel the designer is top notch!We gave him our dimensions then from that point our decision on every furniture piece, color, pattern, including the pillows were then computerized. Our living room was beautifully designed. Thank you!
The service was excellent. We definitely benefited from the in-house design consultation,. Our salesperson Alex was awesome. He answered all questions and made great suggestions for the best sofa purchase. We greatly appreciated his follow-up for all concerns including delivery. We will use La-Z-Boy in the future.
Ordered 10/7/20, quoted Feb/Mar 21 for delivery. I reached out at the end of Feb for an update and was told late April. I reached out again mid-April and was told late June/early July. I reached out again mid-July and was told there was now a delay on the fabric and the eta was late Sept/early Oct. Furniture was finally ready to be delivered 9/29/21 and was scheduled for 10/9/21 delivery after payment was made. At no point was I proactively provided with an update by La-Z-Boy on my order, I had to contact them for each one.When the driver arrived to deliver, he backed into the tree in my front yard and took down a large branch with the truck. I sent a picture of this to the sales associate I had worked with, but received no response. I received no apology or attempt to help clean up the damage from the driver or the other person in the truck.
I have only had my electric couch recliner for two months now and already had to schedule service for repair for a foot rest that won’t go completely down. Service tech won’t come until January. Also still waiting for matching chair I ordered many months ago. I won’t be back.
We were coming to La-Z-Boy off a recommendation from a friend. We had previously ordered furniture from another provider and our experience was very difficult. Going into La-Z-Boy Taylor was so kind and assisted us with a program to make sure all pieces of furniture would fit beautifully in our home. It was easy and straightforward. She was thorough, consistent, and so so helpful! We will definitely be ordering from them again in the future.
I felt the customer service was just right. Not overbearing, let us look without being intrusive, and made every effort to answer questions and accommodate individual request and needs when we were ready to discuss options. I purchased one recliner. Although, the price is higher than I wanted to pay, I still purchased a recliner for the superior quality and warranty. I would shop here again.Alyssa and Tony were the individuals that I found especially helpful.
Destiney & Taylor provided exceptional service to us! Our experience with them was nothing short of fantastic and we are very pleased with our selection. They were both very helpful and informative throughout the process and we now have peace of mind after having a terrible experience with a different furniture company. Wonderful people and merchandise made this a candy store for me. My sales associate, Taylor, was like having a good friend along the journey. She answered all my questions and concerns. Never a bit of pressure. If I telephoned, others were just as nice. Great place to shop!UPDATE: Just received my loveseat to my apartment in perfect condition. The delivery gentlemen were on time, carried it to the exact place, removed the packaging and took it with them. Even placed the throw pillows. I couldnt be happier. Perfect!Note - I was notified by email, by the always efficient and pleasant customer service team that my loveseat was ready for delivery. I chose the available day and time; received a reminder call the day before; received a reminder call the morning of delivery; delivery driver called that he was close and called on arrival. Thats thorough!
Went to Great Northern La-Z-Boy to look for 2 recliners. Met with Alex. I liked the fact that he left me look around on my own while choosing the chairs I wanted. He then answered all my questions. Not pushy which I appreciated. Purchased 2 chairs. Went back the same day to purchase a couch that I really liked. Very happy with my experience.
If you want to wait 8 months or longer for a couch this is the place for you. Unfortunately we were lied to about our order. We placed an order with this lazy boy gallery in April 3 weeks after they told us the delivery date would be October 4th. They told us to call them a couple weeks prior to the delivery date so that we could Make arrangements to pick up the couch. Upon calling to inquire about our order we were told that the delivery date was pushed back to December. We asked to cancel the order and were told we were not allowed to cancel because it was in the 4 to 7 months window of their contract for delivery to their facility. The manager also told me that the 4-7 month window is just an approximation and they dont really know when it will arrive. I would not recommend shopping for any of your furniture needs from lazy boy.
The sales people were very helpful. The selection of recliners was good. But, we were very disappointed to hear it would take nine MONTHS before we received our chair! I realize everyone is experiencing delays, but that seems extreme to us. La-Z-Boy, get your act together!
My Wife and I had an excellent experience working with Tony and Destiny at La-Z-Boy in North Olmsted, Ohio. The store was clean and well organized.They were professional and could not do enough to make sure we found what we were looking for.We highly recommend La-Z- Boy for your furniture needs.
The North Olmsted La-Z-Boy staff was wonderful to work with. I purchased a new sofa, loveseat and two side chairs. They were very patient as I tried out different pieces until I found the ones I liked. They also worked with me on the fabric selections.My furniture was delivered when scheduled and their delivery team was awesome!!This is the 3rd set of furniture I have purchased from La-Z-Boy and would definitely recommend them.
Lazy Boy has a great selection of products. The staff was wonderful! Did not chase you around the store like some other furniture stores, but was there to help answer any questions. Our rep, Tony, was fabulous and very knowledgeable about the products! Looking forward to receiving our furniture!
Fantastic experience at the store. The staff was so friendly and helpful in picking out my furniture for my new apartment. Tony in particular was very detailed in finding out my floor plan and square footage to figure out how to best utilize my space and that no piece was too big.
The customer service was fantastic a special shout out to Pam she had patience and really had eye for colors , design and really helped us with the process. We purchased livingroom and dining room furniture and accessories. We spent a few hours deciding but she never rushed us and we left very satisfied with Lazy Boy quality and excellent customer service .

Hi! I highly recommend the N. Olmsted location. I had ordered a chair for my mom online and long story short...chair wrong size and I didn’t realize that all online orders are created from scratch and take a long time. Destiny went through a lot of calling and talking to different people to try and switch the order to a stock chair. My mother is 91 and we need it for her and Destiny helped me find a stock chair. My family and I really appreciate it! A big thank you goes to Destiny :)
My furniture came in damaged. It was ordered 12/31/2020, and the delivery was to be 5/6/2021. The leg of the chair was broken. It was returned for evaluation and we would be notified of what was going on. The problem was No One ever got back to us. I called and was told that the store did not know what was going on, and they should know something within the week. I waited the week and again, no one called back. I called, left a message on the customer service line, with no one calling back. Finally, I called the store asking for a manager. When I threatened to cancel the order did I finally get any action. I was called the same day, scheduling the furniture delivery for 6/5/2021. The chair came in looking perfect. It seems customer service is the least of their priorities.
Our salesman on Saturday 9-5-2020 was Tony. He was amazing, so knowledgeable, and accommodating! He noticed my husbands use of a cane and talked to us about a chair tall base. He put the recliner on the tall base to compare the difference in getting out of the recliner. Such a low cost addition to the recliner with such huge benefits! I see Tony is listed in many prior 5 star reviews and I can see why! La Z boy has such fantastic and durable furniture, and the La Z Boy associates are first rate! Thank you
La-Z-Boy North Olmsted has furnished my entire living room in the last month. The quality of the furniture and the sales and interior decorating team are second to none. They helped me to choose beautiful and stylish pieces. The sofa and chairs are so comfortable. They coordinated area rugs to give the entire room a warm and relaxing atmosphere. Destiny, our sales person and Daniel, the interior decorator provided at no charge, really made our buying experience a pleasure.
I had a lot of questions regarding my next sectional purchase and Alex had answers for all of them. So happy I chose to have Taylor over to take measurements to make sure we picked the right number of pieces for the sectional to fit the room just right. Love the quality of pieces at La-Z Boy and was very pleased that Alex and Taylor were so knowledgeable and helpful.
All three employees who helped us were amazing, one female named Des, Alex who did the paperwork and helped us through buying, and another blonde female who let me and my fiancé look at the computer even though the store was closing. All very helpful and personable. Only downside is that it takes half a year to get the furniture, hoping we can get it sooner! Great employees though.
Our sales representative, Nikki, did a great job helping us figure out which chair would work best for us as well as helping us decide which fabrics to upholster the chair that would look nice with our existing furniture. Nikki was honest and gave us space to have our own discussions, but available as soon as we had questions. Once ordered, the chair was delivered 4 weeks later and we are so pleased with it! Our sales associate was knowledgeable in all aspects of their product features to provide a very customized Approach and detailed decision Making to take every aspect of health and comfort into consideration.We are so glad we came to La-z-boy! We arrived with specific needs of a recliner without power assist and good back support. We met and had great assistance from our salesman, Kevin. He gave us good suggestions while we took our time checking out the recliners for am extended time. We were in the store early at opening and had time to get special attention from both Kevin and Zack. Kevin was able to guide us to a chair that fit my husbands needs in a power chair and then helped us make a decision on the equivalent in a wall recliner and in leather which we had not previously considered. We purchased two on Tuesday and will have them delivered on Saturday of the same week. Im impressed! We are 50 year customers of Lazy Boy chairs and appreciated the patience and experience of Kevin in our exploration for the perfect chair. In anticipation of an upcoming surgery, we are pleased to have walked into the store and get such wonderful and successful purchase......Thanks for your help and prompt service. We will return to this store for future purchases.
Very wonderful store manager full of knowledge and kindness! We were very comfortable with the furniture pieces we have chosen and will be buying soon! We were very happy with meeting the wonderful manager at the North Olmsted location and engaging in conversation. Very professional with answering questions as well as showing different options with fabric patterns and different designs. We will be making sure he gets the credit on our next furniture purchase!
After shopping for many long hours at various furniture stores, we decided to see what La-Z-Boy had to offer. While not every piece of furniture fit the style and size we were looking for, there was not a chair or sofa that was not comfortable. This made the decision difficult! However, Zach Wallace was very patient... never making us feel rushed. We were impressed with the knowledge that he had about every piece of furniture and his suggestions were extremely helpful. However, we decided to check out some other stores just to make sure we were making the right decision. After two more days of exploring other options, it was very clear that La-Z-Boy had the best selection and price in two counties. We returned to La-Z-Boy and asked to see Zach. He spent another three hours with us as we put together the set and selected the fabric. Once again, his suggestions were very helpful! We plan to buy more furniture from La-Z-Boy and will be asking for Zach!

I received great customer service at the North Olmsted location by Daniel! I highly recommend Lazy Boy furniture! We have purchased several recliners through the years! The store manager Kevin and Daniel are wonderful to work with! I do recommend getting the foam upgrade it definitely makes a difference!
Hi All,Came into the store to look for a recliner for my father. Was greeted by a salesman named Alex. He was polite and helpful. Three things I was disappointed with. No Military Discount. Depending on the style of recliner, all the availability times are different. Also have a $99.99 shipping charge from Columbus Ohio, which is 2 hours away. Im thinking, okay, lets get 10 or more pieces of furniture on that one truck to make $1k in shipping charges? Sound familiar? I would say that is kind of shady. Especially when a good percentage of folks that go in there are possibly elderly. Lets make as much money as we can? I would pay maybe $49.99, but one cent short of $100? Is unacceptable! For that kind of money, those delivery trucks better be brand new, right? Sorry, Mr Lazy Boy, not coming back! Bye, now. DG
Kevin treated us magnificently. His knowledge of the products was encyclopedic and his patience would rival that of Job! He seemed to sense when to leave us to discuss options and was unfailingly kind and helpful. The crest of the staff was equally helpful; one Associate (I wish I had her name but I didn’t get it) filled in while Kevin was occupied with another customer. We left feeling that everything had been explained and no question was left unanswered. We are glad we came to the store!
I went looking for a new sofa at La-Z-Boy in North Olmsted yesterday. While I knew approximately what I wanted, Alex was a huge help in showing me my options without making me feel pressured at all. He was so friendly, and knew all the options, and I walked out of there feeling like it had been the easiest furniture shopping trip Id ever had.
I was looking for a particular fit at lazy boy as I’m short and the hump in their couches pushes my neck forward and is uncomfortable. After trying couch after couch, I was ready to leave the store when I happened to try a couch right by the door. Lo and behold— the headrest felt like it was filled with down feathers. I said to the salesperson “why didn’t you tell me about this?”I bought the couch and two smaller recliners. I love the powered reclining on these pieces as you can customize your level of height for legs and back.
Note: this is a sales process review, as we have not yet received our furniture.Jenny and Daniel were a great help in our process of buying a new couch! They were patient, attentive, answered all of our questions in a very timely manner, and helped us with pricing. Daniel has an excellent eye for design, and he worked with us to consider options we hadnt even discussed. Overall, it was a great buying process at La-Z-Boy, and we are very excited to receive the couch in a few weeks.The only thing that could be better is the pricing. While I did mention that Jenny and Daniel helped, the couch was more expensive by comparison with other similar couches on the market. I guess we will see if the American-made couch withstands the test of time and is thus deserving of the premium price tag. Hopefully it does, and we can reinforce this positive review of the sales process with a positive review of the product.
Terrible quality, terrible service, no support from store. If I could assign 0 or negative stars, I would. Our recliners foot rest broke the day we received it. 2 WEEKS later a repair tech shows up to replace one washer in the foot rest (ever though the full foot rest mechanism was delivered to our house.) While he was here my husband mentioned a plastic popping sound coming from left arm rest. Repair tech said he would report it (??) but made no effort to repair while he was here. One day later it started making a loud creaking noise each time it is moved to the recline position. Store passes you to service group. They did wave the delivery charge, but really does not make up for what was delivery to our house.Once the sale is final, they want nothing to do with you. We paid a lot for this chair expecting high quality... disappointing that no one cares about the customer once they have your money.
I so appreciated my experience today at the North Olmsted Ohio gallery. Lori and Daniel were incredibly patient and professional. I’m making a big cross country move and needed to purchase furnishings for both a dining and living room. I did not feel rushed or pressured at all. I appreciated the free design service and the time they took to review different options. Their professional expertise helped me feel more confident. We couldn’t be happier with our experience at the North Olmstead gallery. I cannot overstate how helpful Tony (salesman) and Daniel (designer) were throughout the process. They made the experience very enjoyable, even moving furniture around the gallery so we could get a good visual of the design we were trying to achieve. We never felt rushed or pressured to buy anything we didn’t want. We can’t wait for our custom furniture to arrive so we can start enjoying it.

Overall Excellent Experience! Nikki is highly recommended in our opinion and when we go back (not if) we will always be sure to ask and work with her. She did a wonderful job (even with a computer/network breakdown) of guiding us and leading us to a happy choice of furniture. My wife and I can be very opinionated and 90% we don’t agree on most simple choices (ex. color, patterns, style and so on). So when Nikki was willing to run around and search the store/inventory and spend the time she did with us to help us both get on the same page about a choice we will have to live with for at least 7-10 years....I think it is huge understatement to very simply say she helped us. Because what she is probably very unaware of is that not only did my wife and I both walk away happy but we worked together as a team to make one decision. And that to me is a huge success!! So thank you Nikki for turning what could have been a difficult decision and situation into a pretty simple, easy and satisfying transaction/experience!
Destiny is amazing! I was at the store for a very long time and Destiny helped me with everything from helping me pick out the right furniture to figuring out the financial aspect of everything! She was very personable and caring. She listened to me and all my stories of my 3 boys which helped her help me figure out what kind of furniture, fabric.... would fit my household best! If your looking for someone to not just sell you furniture but help you figured out the best fit for your family and financial situation I would highly recommend Destiny!!

The salesperson was very good and pleasant but she failed to mention till the very end that shipping was required and even if you didn’t want it you did not have a choice and had to take it which I feel is a bad policy. I understand that things are different during the pandemic but we should have been informed at the beginning.
I liked the way our salesman helped us out. He was very friendly, not pushy and he answered all of our questions. He informed us that the couch we picked out was one of their best sellers. He informed us of a military discount as well. He showed us chairs that would fit our place. We have a small condo and the regular size chairs were just too big. He helped us make choices that fit into our budget. He was very very helpful and kind.
Working with La-Z-Boy has been such a pleasure! I called late one afternoon after a 3rd delay in my shipment from another furniture company. I had canceled that order and was looking for a couch within 4 weeks. Destiney Cross helped me over the phone decide what they had in stock that fit my needs and the next day I went in to try the couch in person. My experience was wonderful thanks to Destiney and on top of all that, delivery was exactly as promised! I would highly recommend working with La-Z-Boy and Destiney!
Upon entering we were greeted by Nikki who was friendly and explained to us what was possibly in stock or if ordered how ling it may take for delivery. She asked us to look around for the chair we wanted and she joined us to answer our questions and described our choice. The whole purchase experience was painless and enjoyable. We have had Lazy Boy furniture for over 40 years. Love it.
I took advantage of the free design services, which was a great experience! I worked with Daniel and he was very helpful and cognizant of my needs in my new home. He offered so many great suggestions for design ideas with furniture and ultimately helped me pick out a great loveseat and sofa for my living room. I can’t wait for my new furniture to arrive to make my house feel like my home! Thank you again!
Nikki was very nice to work with. She was so patient and answered all my questions, and we had many. We changed our minds a couple of times and she worked with us giving us information on all the different options we were considering. She didnt pressure us and we were able to comfortably make our choices. She is so nice and friendly and helpful and we would definitely work with her again.
We just spent nearly two hours working with La-Z-Boys sales associate Nikki Hall. During that time she was incredibly helpful , patient and knowledgeable while we figured what was the right furniture and value for our budget. During that time she was committed to only us and not any other customers who in turn were served by other sales associates. Nikki never made us feel pressured which we both appreciated. I would highly recommend Nikki to serve as your sales associate.
I visited the Lazy Boy showroom just to begin my search for new furniture. Daniel was so helpful. He gave me some suggestions for furniture to fit my room and he explained everything about the furniture. On our second visit Daniel was not there but Jenny took time to answer more questions and scheduled an in home consultation for Daniel to give us help with fabrics and styles. Because of their customer service we felt confident placing our order for chairs, sofa, and tables. Their professional manner and customer service as well as the quality of the products converted us from Flex steel to Lazy Boy.
We were very pleased with the assistance we got and explanation of what we were looking for. Then we were left to browse and make a decision. Lou who waited on us was non-intrusive but always present at the desk in case we had questions. When we finally decided she was most helpful in finding out if there was another chair like the one we wanted in the warehouse and what colors were available. We really couldnt have had a better experience from beginning to end. Thank you very much. And thanks to Lou McCarthy for being such a wonderful salesperson. We were greeted with a happy, professional welcome. Daniel was so patient and helpful, helping me to select the best choice for my very small Florida room as to what couch would be best there. My daughter and I were not rushed when we were looking at the materials for the couch. Daniel was very helpful in explaining what would be best, since I have a service dog. He was so kind even when we changed our minds on the color. He let us see what the couch and the material on it would look like on the computer. I am so thankful he was able to help us with our selection besides being a designer to help with colors. I feel that he is a great addition to your store , and you are lucky to have such a wonderful designer, sales person working for you.
Quality furniture! We had an amazing interior designer, Daniel, from N.Olmstead store help us find what suited our needs and also fit comfortably in our living room. There was absolutely no pressure for a sale. Delivery was timely and the personnel were respectful, careful, and friendly. All around a great shopping experience.
The salesperson Mike was helpful and knowleable about the products and helped me pick out the color and fabric for a sleeper couch. He explained the different styles and looks/space considerations. It was great because there was no pressure. La-Z-Boy products may seem pricey but the warranty is free and more extensive than other brands. I expect to enjoy my sleeper for many years to come.
I haven’t got the furniture yet so I can only review on the buying experience. Our salesman was not professional. He talked to us, a young couple, for a minute then ran to the next customer who walked in, older couple. Probably assuming that the young couple wouldn’t buy. Even going so far as almost ignoring us when we walked by looking at other furniture. That couple left without buying then he came back to talk to us. Then we asked if there was other color options of leather. He stated yeah like 2 or 3. Then stopped like okay? What colors?? Then emphasized like “wow that’s gonna be a big up charge like almost double”. Almost like he was saying we couldn’t afford it. At this point I start getting frustrated. Then we were told to fill out the application for the credit. It prints out a paper and he looks at it and stares loudly “oh wow you must have good credit to get approved for that”. Not everyone in the store needs to know that but that’s dude. Then as we are filling out paperwork he hands me a paper and tells me draw our room layout with doors and windows so he can “get more commission”. Not professional at all. We purchased two rocker /recliners from the North Olmsted OH store. Our salesperson, Kevin, was very helpful and knowledgeable. He showed us the many different features available on the La-Z-Boy products.We liked the no pressure atmosphere and will shop at this store in the future.
The atmosphere created by employees at this LaZyboy location makes it a pleasant place to shop. They don’t apply sales pressure at you constantly while you are there. However, they are always there to answers any questions or give you any assistance if needed.I speak with experience. I’ve gone to every and any furniture store in Northeast Ohio and some in central Ohio. I’ve been looking for living room furniture for over a year. The employees at North Olmstead were patient and friendly and helped me FINALLY make a decision I could feel good about.I wanted the quality of LaZyboy and wanted a reclining sofa for my family. I do like that LaZyboy has the Duo line of furniture so you can get stylish reclining furniture without the puffy/ bulky look.Anyway, once I selected the sofa The employees at this store- Kevin, Daniel and Miranda- plus another male and another female- all either gave me assistance in one way or another , helpful information or just a quick opinion on what pillows etc would work. They put my dimensions on the 3 D design screen at the store and that helped me feel even better about my purchases.I’m leaving a lengthy review because I took up a lot of their time this weekend at the store and want them to know it was very much appreciated !!
The saleswoman I worked with showed me all the possible recliners and really worked to get me the options I wanted. She was up front about delivery times being pushed way back due to the COVID situation. In all, she made the process very easy. No pressure to buy something I was not interested in. I appreciate that.
Nikki was wonderful to work with. We had a great experience. Its always a bit nerve wracking to go through lots of different styles of furniture and different materials, trying to find the exact fit for your home. Nikki was extremely patient and made it as straightforward as possible.

I would like to take this time to recognize two employees who work at La-Z-Boy Furniture . Their names Zac and Daniel. Words cannot express the experience my sister and I had when we visited the store a few weeks ago. They took their time with us and explained everything in detailed about their products and various choice options that were available to meet our needs. Often, we take customer services for granted and do not thank thepersons who has helped us. I am incredibly pleased with the quality of customer service. Zac and Daniel really came through, proving what it means to have our experience feel extra special. The extra effort you both put in was really appreciated. We went in with knowing we were between a couple items and the sales rep did a great job of talking them over with us in regards to what we wanted. When the online item was showing with more savings they honored the price and even let us go home with the floor piece. Very helpful and insightful. Great quality products too! I spoke with Daniel in North Olmsted over the phone and purchased the Dexter Sofa in brown leather. I was not sure if I could get to the store before the sale ended at the end of October.He was extremely helpful in making this transaction by phone. He explained the details of this sofa, ie, dimensions, stitching, color, and I felt confident in purchasing this sofa. I can’t wait till it comes!!

The salesman, Zac was professional without being overbearing. He listened to us, gave us options and didnt hover over us. When my wife chose her chair Zac provided the option of a 2 inch wooden riser to make getting out of the chair much easier. Excellent product and sales.
I have been thinking about purchasing a Lazyboy chair to finish off my new apartment. My space is rather small, so with that in mind I had been checking all the furniture stores that I could think of. Once I entered your beautiful store, my decision had been made. There were so many beautiful pieces of furniture with easily marked prices and then sale prices also. Only one walk through the store and I saw what I felt would be a great fit. A lovely salesperson Jennifer understood my needs and without hesitation, I purchased the first chair that I saw. Great store, beautiful furniture and great salespeople. The staff there is so nice and accommodating!! No pressure. My salesman Nyland wrote doen the recliners i wsd interested in and i went home and thought about it. The order process was so simple and knowing i can get a piece of furniture exactly as i want it is awesome! Im so happy with my wine colored Neal recliner!
The staff was not pushy and the designer was very helpful in creating a 3d rendering of our living room with furniture. The staff was very friendly, knowledgeable, and courteous (they offered us bottled water). La-Z-Boy itself has a pretty fast turnaround time (2-4 weeks for most furniture in stock).
Nikki was highly professional. She understood what we were looking for and presented many options. She made it fun. Plus she was well versed in all the furniture options and what was available in the style we were looking at.It couldn’t have been a better experience.

A pleasant experience when shopping for recliners. The salesman Scott did not follow us around like a vulture looking for a meal, like what happens at so many other stores. He was very knowledgeable and answered every question satisfactorily. We even came back multiple times and never felt pressured into making a decision.
La-Z-Boy North Olmsted is a well-appointed store. Its staffed by friendly, not overbearing salespeople who are knowledgeable and quite helpful. They know when to allow you to browse and check back to answer questions as needed. Theres no high pressure tactics, no insistence on extras. It was a pleasant and refreshing furniture shopping experience.
I entered the La-Z-Boy store in North Olmsted this afternoon and had an excellent experience with Zac ,salesman, to investigate getting a new Recliner. Zac was an excellent salesperson- very professional, polite and knowledgeable about the product!! I looked over the recliners and he showed me one that he personally had ,and I sat in it to investigate it--Zac explained all the outside and inside parts of the the recliner which included all the important information. I chose a chair and then we discussed price, payment, etc.All went well and Zac even walked me to my car with his umbrella as it had started pouring down rain as I was getting ready to leave. Zac is a great employee!!
The furniture and fabric choices are very high quality and the interior designers on staff were incredibly helpful with design ideas and color choices. Every sofa we sat in was comfortable and fit our body. We walked in looking for a single chair and walked out with a sofa, love-seat and one stunning Buchanon recliner. Almost forgot the matching pillows. Very pleasant experience.

My husband fractured his rib and had difficulty getting in and out of bed due to excruciating pain. I visited the La-Z-Boy North Olmsted store and Nikki was wonderful to work with. I was able to purchase the recliner I chose and take the floor model home that same day. We all had a better nights sleep, he slept in his new La-Z-Boy chair and loves it!! It feels like a hug when you lean back in the chair and is definitely a great investment in furniture. Thanks again Nikki for all of your help!!
We went to the North Olmsted store to buy a sleeper sofa for my brother. The problem we had was it needed to be made and then sent to an assisted living in Tucson Az. Nikki was there to help us out, she spent 2 days working to make sure this could be done and completed on time. Nikki went above and beyond her job for us. Nikki is a great asset to your company.
I needed time to decide what I wanted and Nikki allowed that. She did a computer search when needed. I like the way she explained everything and was able to answer all my questions. She went the extra mile to find out when something wasnt readily available.Lots of good furniture to choose from.One very nice thing was no pressure. It took me some time to decide what I wanted and I didnt feel rushed or pushed.All in all, when making what for me is a major purchase, it couldnt have gone better. I cant wait until my loveseat arrives.
Our visit to La-Z-Boy Furniture on Brookpark Road on May 2, 2019, was so enjoyable...our greeter and sales person was Lori McCarthy, and she was so welcoming and was ready to assist us in finding the perfect power reclining loveseat...with center console...cloth exterior of our choice. Her expertise made sure we saw various selections of loveseats and power options and fabrics! She listened and guided us through this process which made for a comfortable experience. My sales person was named Tony, he did an excellent job of making me feel like I was making a good decision, he went above my expectations to make sure I understood the product I was purchasing and what options were available. He was very professional and a pleasure to work with.
After reviewing on-line, I wanted to actually sit in the Wales couch I was interested in purchasing. I was told that the Wales was not in the showroom. When I asked the nearest showroom where I could see the Wales, I was told in Michigan (I live in Ohio). Not very “user-friendly”. I did purchase the Amanda, but was extremely disappointed that my first choice was not available. The Wales was twice as expensive as the Amanda, but that is the couch I wanted! Staff was very nice, but were really at a loss of words when trying to explain the situation.

Love shopping here! Ive read the complaints about how high the prices are but you get what you pay for. Plus, there are frequent sales and maybe consider a floor model. Weve purchased four items over the past few years, and all were made in the USA, and all are very durable and in excellent shape. The staff is very knowledgable, and will help you get what you want at the best price possible.
I ordered a reclining chair on November 23rd. It was a smaller, simpler chair than most of theirs. I chose basic fabric and wooden legs. I was told it would arrive in 6-8 weeks, but maybe sooner. I called at 6 weeks and they says it would be another 2 weeks. I called at 8 weeks and they said it would be another 2 weeks. Maybe, I’ll get the chair in February. No one contacted me about the delay. I was offered free delivery, when it is ready, which is $100 usually. The girl on the phone was kind and helpful. It’s not her fault that the chair is late. So far, it’s been disappointing. I hope the chair is amazing and makes up for this trouble.
My experience was amazing!!!!!!!!! Laura was very helpful and enjoyable to work with. I planned on just looking around and getting ideas, but I ended up buying everything I needed. We needed specific features in a power recliner due to my husbands spinal issues. He has been in severe pain for a few weeks now and has trouble getting comfortable. He needs surgery but due to Medicare rules certain steps have to be completed before he can have that surgery. His current power recliner is not helping him and the power keeps cutting out on it so he needs a chair ASAP. The staff went out of their way to help us find a recliner that was INSTOCK and met our specifications. We were rather picky and we were there quite a while but they were very patient with us and did not try to push us into something we didnt want. Thank you Mike and Laura for helping us find furniture that met our families needs. We left there pleased and probably our only disappointment is that we have to wait for 5 days to get his chair but understand why.
I purchased a red leather auto reclining sofa and a custom reclining chair. Both items had problems within the first 12 months. The color on the recliner faded and the chair became thread bare and had pilled. The North Olmsted store refused to help on either issue. They were rude. I was told there was nothing they could do about the sofa but encouraged me to shave the chair. I had to write a letter to the CEO of the company. Our contact in Michigan at La-Z-Boy, Donata, insisted on an in-home repair We were told by the technician the recliner had some type of manufacturing issue and the custom fabric on the chair was defective. I was given the run around for months ((7) before finally receiving a refund check. I cannot recommend La-Z-Boy. I thought, after having purchased sofas from 2 other less upscale stores, La-Z-Boy would be a wonderful, dependable option. I was wrong. They do not stand behind their product. They sell sub par products and do not support the products they sell. Their associates are only interested in selling product not explaining issues that can arise from the defective products they sell. I hope this review is read by many people, who, like myself, are thinking they may be finally purchasing an upscale, quality piece of furniture with a quality company who will stand behind their product. I hope those people heed my advice. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM LA-Z-BOY!!! They care not about their clients, only sales.

I was there 3 times deciding what would work in my space Tony was so helpful each time showing me different looks on the computer and then when I was ready to buy Tony was with another customer and the manager was did a super job to get my order on paper and explain the whole process and approximate wait time. Now just have to wait to receive my furniture thanks
I was at the North Olmsted, Ohio, La-Z-Boy on 2 separate nites shopping for a glider rocker and an ottoman to go with. I was helped the first night by Angel, and the second nite by Laura. Both ladies were wonderful. I looked at about 12 other stores, and online, but fell in love with a glider, swivel rocker recliner at La-Z-Boy. This chair does it all. Its like a big hug at the end of a long day. The second visit I brought a friend with me to finalize my fabric choice and Laura was so very helpful to help me get what I wanted. Angel helped me so much with step 1, and Laura helped me so much with step 2. I currently have La-Z-Boy rocker recliners that have lasted over 25 years. The mechanics are showing their age, but the fabric shows no wear. I cant wait to have my new swivel/glider rocker/recliner and ottoman delivered. I’ve actually never had such a horrible piece of furniture in my life. We set up a service call after having a recliner for a couple days. The mechanics on it are annoyingly loud! When I called to ask if they are normally loud and annoying like that, I was told yes. I said that was hard to believe and that it’s so loud when you try to recline and I mean TRY to recline (which is also annoying and difficult to do), that me and my dogs jump ten feet! This is when I decided to have a service tech come out to make sure it was operating properly and that it wasn’t a defect. Fast forward to day of service and all of this... the difficult reclining mechanism and annoyingly loud ratchet sounding noises while reclining are ALL NORMAL! And now only a few months later, the back of the chair is loose. Never again will I purchase anything from La-Z Boy.
Not good yet.!!After a return visit, found out you could not view 3D room from I pad or anything but PC or lap top.LazyBoy needs to get there I-T department into the 21st century!Nikki did a great job working with what she had .Went to store Monday and meet with Nokki and got our new sectional orgered . Nikki is very knowledgeable on the product she sells. She is a 5 Star sales person !!Full speed ahead Nikki !!

Worst customer service,my wife and I visited the north olmsted store on brookpark road Saturday December 7. We walked saw three employees one with a customer, other two hiding in back of store,walked around for about 15-20 min,nobody said hi,or can I help you, Actually heard a customer say to saleswoman you can help them, saleswoman response was, thats ok, I heard that and I was done,grabbed wife and walked out,went down the street and bought from your competitor,over 4,300 in cash that day,probably explains why you dont see la-z-boy trucks delivery or as many stores. Good product, bad people ,spend your money somewhere else
Couldn’t of been happier with the whole process, really helpful having the Daniel the designer come to our house and really help us find out what works for us, there’s so many choices and he helped us narrow it down to what we liked . Usually when we spend that much money it is very stressful but we actually feel like it was worth it. Would definitely recommend and use again.
It is the worst experience Ive ever had with the furniture store. My chair is falling apart and its less than a-year-old and theyre replacing the back of it and the side of it and theyre going to inconvenience me they should replace the whole chair its broken.. I would also like to add that the customer service was so terrible they never called me back like they said they would I am very very disappointed and it was very expensive furniture I highly recommend people to shop around before going to La-Z-Boy because theyre overpriced and they do not stand behind their product.

2021-10-15This was our first visit to La-Z-Boy in North Olmsted and it was a great experience. Destiny was extremely knowledgeable and provided a ton of great recommendations. They have a design studio where you can customize the furniture and you can take material samples home to ensure they coordinate with your decor. Great warranty and you can tell it’s great quality. It’s also made in the U.S. It’s a little more expensive than what you would pay at other furniture stores, but I’m getting a reclining chair and dual reclining couch and I believe you get what you pay for. Due to all of the delays with getting furniture these days the turn around time is longer than I hoped 4-6 mo., but I expected that. Overall I’m extremely happy and had a wonderful experience.

2022-01-18We ordered our couch in February 2021. Because of Covid we didn’t receive it until September 2021. Our sectional couch with reclining ends arrived broken on one end. We notified La Z Boy right away. Because of the delay in service it is January 2022 and we are still waiting for it to be fixed. The repair date is February 15th. Although we understand delays with Covid the service side turn around is poor.Needless to say it’s been one year since ordering and we have yet to be sitting on a satisfactory piece of furniture.

2021-12-15Very disappointed in the buying process. I purchased my item (50% downpayment) on July 3, 2021. I was assured by the salesperson, Pam, that delivery times were within 5 months, and when I mentioned that I needed it before Christmas, she said they were usually quite a bit quicker. Knowing I only had 3 days to cancel my order Pam said she would give me a call the next day to confirm my delivery date. She left a voicemail stating it would be November 5. Therefore I would not have to cancel my order.At the end of the October, I still hadnt received any info on delivery, so I called the store and spoke with Alex(?) and I asked about my delivery. He said it wasnt going to be delivered until Jan 3 (Which is well within our stipulated delivery time). Obviously this is not what I was originally told, so I asked to speak with Pam, who wasnt in that day. Alex told me he would pass the message on to her, and that she would call me back the next day. That was last month.In the interim, I have filed a dispute with my credit card company, as I would have canceled the order within the 3-day period if I had not had the confirmation from Pam that it would be delivered prior to Thanksgiving. Christmas is coming, and I still dont have a recliner, nor do I have any return phone calls from La-Z-Boy.

She was up front about possible wait times for delivery luckily what I ordered is in stock so it is coming soon. I am a very hesitant shopper ans this woman held on and stuck with me til I made a decision. She wasnt pushy or anything. The store is very nice and clean. I hope my product experience is as great as my store experience. I got a grey recliner so we will see Im excited.
