Positive: I was happy to have found a hotel just a few min away from the Zoo and Cosi! Negative: We woke up the first morning to ants crawling all over the bedside table. We jumped up afraid they were in our bed. Finally we were moved to the room next door. That room wasnt much better. Saw some more ants and the room just wasnt up to par.
The front desk girl was amazing! She helped us out after another hotel nearby where we originally had reservations was AWFUL! Room was clean, newly renovated, with a comfortable bed! The price was great! Breakfast is all you need! Id highly recommend this hotel for several reasons, but mostly due to the excellent customer service!
This is a fantastic place to stay if you like to sleep in dirty sheets with the pungent smell of death seeping from your mattress burning the hair in your nostrils and keeping you up all night. None of our keys worked for the door. Which made us feel safe once we were actually in and not standing in the hall way. The lack of warm water was a nice finishing touch to end a sleepless night in this hotel. It is currently under renovation, but I feel it was really run down and they are using it as an excuse to run an inefficient hotel. For almost a hundred bucks a night simple things like clean sheets and hot water should come mandatory.
The hotel was under construction and they still did an excellent job. Very friendly! Didn’t charge me any animal fees for my ESA (Emotional Support Animal). Their breakfast is great! Nice and hot! Many options to choose from. All in all the hotel is a nice and quiet place!
The location of this hotel is perfect because it is in close proximity to many restaurants, Tuttle Mall and the freeway. The room I stayed in had a HUGE king sized bed and what appeared to be a 70 inch TV.My room also had ants on the floor and I heard another couple complain about the same issue at the front desk as well. There were also a few strands of hair in my bed when I inspected the sheets. Another guest said there were fake eyelashes behind the bathroom door in her room so overall housekeeping could be much better. Also there is not a pool at this hotel and the floors in the room are not carpet so be sure to bring socks or slides if you’re picky about that kind of stuff too. They’re short staffed at the front desk here as well. Meaning one person is working at the front desk. The room I was assigned wouldn’t open because the previous guest left the security lock on the door. The manager told me it would take her 20 minutes to assign me to a different room because she had a long line of guests in the lobby she needed to help with first. If you’re looking for a short one night stay this will do the job but anything longer than that I wouldn’t recommend. It’s cheap but you get what you pay for.
On my check in, I approached the front desk the same time 2 other employees approached the front desk attendant. They began to converse and complain while totally ignoring me. When I finally checked in, I found my room to be very spacious and clean. I work night shift, so I unpacked, rested and worked. When I arrived early in the morning and laid in the king sized bed, I found the foundation was broken and it had no support in the center. I ended up sleeping in the center of the bed where gravity pulled me.At the end of my stay, I returned to check out. 2 girls behind the counter, and again I was ignored. I eventually placed my key cards on the desk and left. The only thing positive during this stay was the cleanliness of the facility.
Room was updated with a large TV. However the room was too dim because there was only one lamp in the main area. One bedspread was stained, and the hallway carpet was filthy. The mattress was not firm at all and offered little back support. No one in the family slept well either night. The sign in the lobby said that breakfast was 6-10 on the weekends and 6-9 Monday through Friday. On Saturday morning when we showed up to get breakfast at 8:48 all the hot food had already been packed up and the rest of the breakfast was cleaned up by 9.
Positive: Location I cannot blame the desk staff they were busy. Negative: Cleaning staff. My first room was NEVER cleared as clean. My second room we got rid of a dirty sheet. There were stains on the chair. The light shade was dirty and dented. Hole in the wall under the desk. Floor was questionable.
Well, was hoping that it would be a nice place. Unfortunately is only sub-par!! Sheets have been heavily bleached so much theyre thread bare! Hand towel has a large hole in the middle. Only one wash cloth, had to get another one at the desk. Very difficult to use the key/card to enter room. Was told breakfast was at 6:30 am, no 7 am instead. The hotel worker sat out in her vehicle smoking and then came in at 13 minutes before breakfast was to be ready at 7 am! The waste can in the kitchen area is GROSS and DIRTY, ugh! I give this place a zero!
Positive: Location, price, it was clean Negative: No customer service, I was ignored at check in and check out. Staff stood around the front desk complaining to each other while I waited. King size bed foundation was broken and sank 4-6 inches to the middle. Staff had their children with them always
Positive: Bed was very nice, breakfast was good, I liked the bathroom and sink area very nice and TV was good and I liked the desk. Negative: The room furniture was outdated, the armless chair-I was sitting on springs, the closet clothes hanging bar was broken, microwave inside bottom was very stained, machines in fitness area didn¿t turn on, no ice maker on first floor, too small of garb ca
Positive: Customer service was good and they did try to be helpful with all of the mishaps of just a one night stay. Negative: Had these experiences for one night: 1st room: Bathroom dirty & had used towels. 2nd room door did not latch or lock. 3rd room had someone in it. 4th room, no curtain on window. I put bed cover over window to block door entrance light.
Yes, they are renovating. But it seems that was being used as an accuse for house keeping to not clean the rooms. The skirts on both beds had what appeared to be dried food on them. The sheets were dirty. And the dresser drawer handles were inside the drawers, so you couldnt really use the dresser for anything.Over all, the worst La Quinta I have stayed at, and not a value at the price. Ive stayed in nicer places for half the price.
Positive: Staff was super nice and the location was great Negative: It was not clean AT ALL . The room was cleanish and the bedding was clean but the public areas were filthy. Also woken up in the middle of the night by an overwhelming smell of marijuana. I wouldn¿t care but I had my 5 year old with me.
The truth after reading bad comments we think lets see first, well from the moment you enter the reception you can see that there is remodeling, new floors and carpets, a pleasant clean aroma. The young woman at the reception was attentive and kindly answered our questions, she gave us a discount, in short, much better than the blonde lady who received us at the reception of La Quinta Inn in Niagara. They are remodeling and for that reason they have small inconveniences but no big problems. Thank you ! ah the internet came in fast! fabulous. from breakfast until tomorrow I will know!
While the hotel has been somewhat updated, the furniture was old and covered with stains. We didnt have any heat in our room and the temperature outside dipped into the 20s at night. The desk clerk said it was working but never got warmer than the low 60s in our room. The bathroom was remodeled and nicely done. No carpet made the room noisy. Many guests were not wearing any face covering.
Positive: The location was right where I needed to be, and it was clean-ish. Negative: One of the worst experiences Ive ever had. Movers were moving furniture around during my stay, and left my door propped open with all my belongings inside and no one around. Management not responsive, will never stay here again.
The hotel is in rough condition. The rails in the elevator look as if theyre ready to fall off the wall. We were on the 4th floor and there was no air conditioning in the hallway so it took ages for our room to get cooled down. The AC in the room sounds as if its going to explode. The room wasnt properly cleaned either - gunk in the bottom of the fridge, dirty towel left in the bathroom, dust over everything. The $20 savings compared to other hotels isnt worth putting up with these issues.
We booked on line. The add stated $82.00 per night for 1 king size bed. Once my information was added it went right to billing. The charge said $89.10. Once I confirmed it rang it out and sent me an email with a receipt of over$133.00. Right away I called the number on the website. The lady said the charges change every night and it was nonrefundable. I asked for a manager. She put me on hold for just a few minutes, came back on and offered a 10 percent discount. I declined and asked for a manager. She said the manager will tell you the same. She will call you in about 2 hours. Its been 4 hours and Ive had no phone call yet. This room is a 12 by 16 room nothing special for that price.
Positive: When I checked in at front dest, a receptionist said she can not find the my reservation, then she gave me aroom that was not cleaned and very dirty. I came back to her and again she gave me a roon the celing of bathroom was leaking. Very bad experience. Negative: I did not like this hotel at all very dirty.
Your hotel is a joke. Stayed 9/18/21. Lobby full of guests and no one at the desk. I went behind your counter to call someone, still no one. After 20 minutes my husband found the front desk clerk (young Hispanic girl with glasses) in an office chatting with another employer. She was incredibly rude and our room wasnt even ready that I reserved months ago. Never again.
Do NOT waste your money this place is dirty . Broken window with pillows stuffed in it .. parking lot dim and full of trash. Beds are old and sink in .. cleaning staff is horrible. Front desk girls are nice but rest is horrible .. there’s signs where you receive NO housekeeping if your staying 1-3 days if you need towels must get them before 6 pm .. CRAZY … plenty other hotels around DO NOT STAY HERE…
I should’ve taken photos but I didn’t think to at the time. We booked this hotel and when we got there the room was clearly not fully renovated. The bathroom, sink area, floor and tv were all newly done, but the rest was not. The mattress was subpar and didn’t fit to the very dated and beat up headboard. The chair was hardly comfortable, had paint on it and was clearly well used and dated. The dresser, both night stands and the desk were also well used, beat up and dated. There was no remote to be found for the tv and the room was set to 63° but never dropped below a warm and uncomfortable 74°. Additionally, the closet doors did not shut well and the bathroom door could not be completely shut. The front desk moved us to another room, but everything was the same in that room with the exception that a remote was located elsewhere in the hotel for the tv and the ac worked. All the furniture was beaten up and definitely needs updated. All the same issues as the previous room otherwise, plus missing a lamp and any usb or easily accessible outlets. At least we weren’t overheating anymore. In addition to the room being entirely underwhelming, the breakfast in the morning was not well done. You could make a waffle, toast, have a packaged muffin or some yogurt. The “fresh” fruit did not look fresh at all.The outside of the hotel wasn’t much better. There was broken glass and trash all over the parking lot.Maybe in a few years we will try this location again, but not any time soon. I surely hope they fix all the issues. I expected much more from them since they are in a nice area, but you couldn’t tell that from the hotel, only by driving out to the area away from the hotel. Dry disappointing experience and not worth even the $80 room. That room and experience was more worth $40-50, at most.
Lets start by saying that this place ended up being super chill. It was obviously recently updated so the both rooms were beautiful and the televisions are brand new as well as HUGE! However, the smaller rooms are very small and the furniture is clearly outdated. If you need a place to stay this is a great and affordable option. If you are looking to get away and relax this may not be the best option. My biggest issue with this place is the elevator. Its sketchy and if you go here you will see why. Overall, not bad... but not great.
Rooms were less then clean, and smelled of smoke. Sheets were stained and dirty. When we asked for the sheets to be changed , in one of the 3 rooms we rented, Brea ( front desk lady) became agitated. After a 2 hour wait , Brea threw some pillows on the bed and exclaimed “ that’s all you get, if you don’t like it, you can leave” after deciding to leave, we notified front desk. The young lady replied with” you got 20 minutes to get out, or no refund” this was at 11 pm. Me and my family will NEVER do business with La Quinta again.
I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE! ONE OF THE WORST HOTELS IVE EVER STAYED IN! Will not be back! Room was filthy. There were crumbs and food all over the floor. Like I dont even think it was cleaned at all! And my shoes stuck to the floor. The sink was broken. Turned the faucet on and water just gushed out the bottom. There was no hot water which wasnt too big a deal because i didnt really want to shower in a dirty shower anyways. Surprisingly bad!
Pros- This hotel is in a nice area with lots of food and shopping nearby. The room was cheap, clean, and staff were friendly. They allow pets. Huge TVCons- The room key didnt work all the time. They really dont have breakfast i.e no waffle makers or warm food. There was a light that shined in at night thru the window.
Check in was a breeze. Front desk staff was amazing. Beds were okay (firm not my cup of tea but not hard). Breakfast was decent. Towels were placed on top of the toilet as you could see the rack was broken (holes in the wall where it once stood). Ice bucket lid looked as though someone threw up on it. Found a dirty sock under the bed in the morning before checkout (when I was checking to see if anything we had fell under the bed). Made front desk aware of my findings upon checkout. Extremely nice and stated she left a message for management to call me. Two days after visit and no call. Disappointed in cleanliness of our room. Oversights.
The cleaning crew was extremely loud and disruptive while I was trying to sleep. The were talking loud and yelling right outside my door, slamming doors, and blasting the volume on a tv while cleaning. When I complained to the front desk they said they couldnt guarantee that there would be quiet in the hotel.I stayed at the hotel so I could rest after caring for a sick relative. I did not rest.
After spending $96 for the night on my room I atleast expect it to be a clean hotel... there are ants all over the place in my room, dead inscets on the window sill, crumbs still on the top of the fridge. I felt so gross I even checked for bed bugs. I dont particularly enjoy ants crawling all over me while Im laying in bed. And I was left with conditioner and no shampoo. Im moving from CA to PA and stayed at other la Quinta hotels and I was surprised to see this one so disgusting.
Positive: Front desk staff excellent Negative: My husband took large towel out of the cubbyhole before he went in the shower to find feces on it in two different places quite obvious disgusting. That sheet was ripped on one of the double beds We will never again go to one of their hotels
The woman who booked the reservation over the phone could barely finish a sentence she was so high. She also failed to give us our member discount we requested because of her 5-second goldfish memory capacity. The woman at the counter who checked us in made multiple mistakes, one being directions toward the room which led us walking all over the grounds looking for it.The room itself was very bad: room door and bathroom door didn’t shut properly, no do not disturb sign, microwave was dirty and broken, coffee machine was dirty and broken, no clock (probably was dirty and broken too), window had a major draft - you could hear and feel the wind (in winter), ac unit sounded broken and was dirty, furniture was too obviously second-hand, old and dirty (mysterious white drip stain on dirty upholstered chair), mattress was very uncomfortable, patchy paint job on the walls, room was so dark it was hard to see into my bags during the daytime, the walls and ceiling are so heavily popcorn-textured (and painted in high-gloss) I was surprised there weren’t bedbugs nests behind the headboard that was so loosely leaned against the wall. No guest information booklet or binder, tried to get breakfast downstairs (wasn’t sure if it would be closed bc of COVID) were met with a lady wiping the counters and shaking her head, confused by us?The hallways smelled different every time I walked through them, couple times like marijuana and cigarette smoke - I don’t think there are smoking rooms these days so it just shows they have no capacity to control their guests and keep a safe environment. We arrived late into the night and needed to catch up on sleep for our activity the next day. Since there was no door sign the cleaning lady woke us up when she wracked her knuckles against the door and yelled that she was there - disturbed us and our plans. My husband and I have stayed at many La Quinta hotels all over the US. This is not the standard. Very disappointing and very surprising that they have the guts to charge what they do for failing to throw together a basic room - which is all we wanted. Shocked that it’s in such a prime location, beware.
Made reservations for 3 rooms this past Saturday while we made a family trip to the Zoo check in time wasnt til 3 so we spend our day at the zoo go to check in at 6:30 pm rooms where not ready not even close to being cleaned, so what do they do they had 2 double bed rooms and talked my wife into an executive room with was extremely higher. Walk into the executive room first thing right off the batt floor is coming up. Then I go down demand refund they claimed they made refund check my bank they only refunded 1 room so now dealing with that notNot trust worthy place to go at all horrible front desk relationstrust worthy or decent place to go to at aot
1. After the first night the crew took the towels, and used soaps but didnt leave any replacements. I had to call the desk and ask for them before showering.2. I began itching and boils seemed to show up. These marks on my arm, and back indicate bed bug bites.3. breakfast? not much of a selection.
4th floor room, elevator button to 4 is damaged, so elevator going up only goes to 3. Have to walk last flight of stairs. Got king with pull out for 3 adults. Pulled out and discovered no matress in sofa bed. One had to sleep on the floor. Phone in room didnt work, so had to go down to desk to report issues, and walk up last floor each time. They were made aware, and hopefully will have these issues resolved soon. Staff was very pleasant. They have since repaired the elevator.
Noisy, out front was a gathering with office chairs and smoking of any kind, room was decent but crumbs on the floor and misc stains on the walls by sink . Checkout was listed online for my itinerary to be at noon but at 10:10 a.m. they were using the card edge to loudly knock on my door housekeeping staff was rude and I have to say maintenance may not exist here as none of the hall lights on level 3 matched and important fire doors were not closing automatically.
Stayed here for 4 nights. Nice employees, convenient location (close to many restaurants, stores, the highway and gas station) and clean room. The floor (3) we stayed on was very quiet and we were never disturbed. Good AC, water pressure and comfy king sized bed. The pillows could have been a little better, they were kind of lumpy. Great experience overall and would definitely stay here again.
Room was clean and beds were comfortable fast and easy check in and check out only issue we had with our stay was that I was overcharged on my card stayed for two nights and was charged for three but I evidently got my money back and ladies at front desk wasn’t very helpful
Its OK. The location is quite good for restaurants and convenience stores etc., and easy to access. The building interior is a bit dated and showing a lot of wear, but kept pretty clean considering. The coffee was watery and breakfast was bare minimum. The room was fine. Nothing to impress, but no real disappointment either. The TV actually had a channel/programming guide which was greatly appreciated. So many hotel TVs dont have this obvious feature. The price I got on the room was excellent (much lower than nearby HIE at the time), and I feel the quality of stay was overall very good value. At that price, I would definitely stay again. If I stay in the area again and the rate is more comparable to other options, Ill try somewhere else.
The staff was very nice, the room was very clean and smells good upon entry. The mattresses were fluffy and extremely comfortable and so were the pillows. I was disappointed after staying a few days and trying to extend my trip I was told they were booked and didn’t have any availablity on the room I wanted for the weekend. Other then that a very pleasant stay.
My girlfriend and i stayed here for 2 nights and it was a nice and newer hotel for the price. Fyi if u use priceline it can be almost half the price for your stay we got an executive king room for under 60 bucks a night. The staff was polite here and the rooms are very clean.
We have stayed in many La Quintas and this is by far the worst!! To expensive for the quality. The 1st room i entered the door had looked as if it had been jimmed open and wouldnt shut with out slamming it, pewbic hairs in the bed and shower, bedding dirty. The second room was a smidgen better. The bedding was actually clean and no pewbs. The shower was dirty where they didnt clean it after reno. Thank goodness I carry my own cleaning supplies. Cause at that point, I just wanted to sleep. The elevator electrical box was opened, floor was very dirty. The halls doesnt look as if they had been vacuumed in months.. just a horrible experience all and all!!
I wouldnt stay anywhere else. We stay here every two weeks on business and are always greeted with a smile and professional courtesy. The manager Kris is absolutely amazing. I have developed a personal relationship with her and she is hands down the best manager of any business that I have ever patronized. From the manager down to the maids everyone is super sweet and welcoming. Rooms are always spotless, parking lot is well lit and the complimentary breakfast is spectacular.
Bright as day with all blinds closed, thermostat doesnt work - set it at lowest setting and its 76 degrees in my room. No screens in window, so opening window not really an option. Feather pillows made my allergies flare up and got scratches all over upper body from feather tips piercing through pillow case. Unfortunately I prepaid for a week so Im stuck here...
The staff was nice, but the hotel itself was older and just dirty. The shower head and carpets were grimy. There was a pair of dirty, smelly socks in the dresser, as well as a used bandaid being stuck to a “clean” bath towel. The TV service was out for our stay. However, they did offer a discount to compensate for this issue.
We had a wonderful stay. Staff very polite and helpful. Key cards quit twice. Once because it for some reason thought our check out was a day earlier than it really was. Staff fixed it quickly and efficiently. Honestly cant say enough about the lady at the front desk. Above and beyond, she was great. Would definitely stay again. Our two sons (6 and 16) didnt even complain once.
Check in was smooth. Front desk guy wasnt the most friendly but oh well. Room was comfortable. Elevator was scary and seems in need of repair. I was tired so I skipped thw breakfast. The bathtub was filthy and full of dirty water that would not drain. I found that to be VERY disgusting. I was highly disappointed because this is one of the main reasons for my stay. Sleep & Shower.
Comfy chair, bed, and pillows. Great wifi. Mediocre & dark room. Ours came with an odd pink stain above the bathroom hooks and a broken desk leg. No overhead light in the bedroom at all or desk lamp. Breakfast was convenience foods like yogurt, bagels, toast and hard boiled eggs. Wish they had pancakes, sausage, bacon or scrambled eggs. Loved the cool resin tables in the lobby.
Friendly staff, room was cool ( hot day), comfortable, and clean. Breakfast was adequate, not great. An addition of scrambled eggs and sausage or bacon would help, as other hotels have. Waffles were yummy. Good location, easy to find, plenty of parking and close to freeway, shopping and restaurants.
Fabulous bed and pillows so we slept well. Great place to stay with our dog because there is space to play ball and two stations for poo clean up out back. The room was clean however the lighting was very dim and yellow. Very hard to apply makeup. The staff was very friendly. Breakfast was disappointing and offered nothing gluten free. Reasonable rate.
I truely like staying with this chain and never ever have any bad experiences. But this is the first time that i was told my booking had a issue upon my arrival. We were given upgrades for this which made things a bit satisfying. As an a person in management, i am disappointed that we did not receive a call back regarding stolen pink pearled earrings that were sitting on the sink counter. Its smart to take your valuables with you since the housekeepers may take.
We check in and Someone else was already checked in our room, and unfortunately we were put in smaller room with not enough room and no place to put food we brought to cook in our apt suit we should have had. So not only did we waste that food, we had to spend just as much as what we were compt for our room, on buying dinner for everyone. So in the end we were out of our pockets more money , not comfortable and had people sleeping on the floor. We tired to make best out of bad situation. ☹️
Bed sheets felt fresh the carpet was decent. We had a king size bed which was very spacious and comfortable. definitely did not want to get out of it in the morning. The TV was in a very comfortable place on a dresser. Bathroom was clean everything seemed really neat in the room I didnt see any scuff marks on any of the dressers or countertops. The experience was very enjoyable on a road trip. Researched for more La Quintas along the way.
Upon arrival everything seemed fine. Front desk personnel were nice. Got to the room, disappointed in overall appearance and condition of the room. Shower was still dirty, ceiling had obvious water leaks and a musty smell. Not to mention that elevator is sketchy. But what really upsets me is when I went to bed. THERE WAS A FRESH BLOOD STAIN ON THE FREAKIN SHEET! It was fresh. Never washed or attempted to be washed which obviously means the house maid doesn’t like to change the sheets. Went down to the front counter. Of course they handed me new sheets and said “sorry those damn housemaids I tell ya.” Well cool story but not only did I walk into a bio hazard but then I had to pay for a room and clean it myself which your hotel pays the housemaid to do. Was supposed to hear from “Chris the manager” but of course, why would I? Then the HVAC unit had poor air flow, pulled the filters myself and packed full of debris. You’re welcome. I cleaned that out too. I’m still here btw so why don’t you give me a call
I loved this place! Just make sure that you get a room on the first floor, because the elevator looked junky. If you do end up getting a room on a different floor, I suggest you use the stairs. Plus there are a bunch of nice food areas around here, such as Sonic Drive-In. Would definitely go back.
I’ve been a steady customer of LaQuinta while I travel. Their pet policy makes me view them as a good company regardless of if my dog is with me. This location turned me away as they “could not accommodate” a trailer. Empty lot no other trailers, low volume day just a flat out no more than two spaces. How not accommodating they were at this location makes me wonder how they are even in business. I am happy they did not get my money. Think twice before patronizing this location.
This is a decent hotel, however it wasnt a 5 star experience. The alarm went off at midnight in our room, and it was not the cleanest. There was a dirty washcloth hanging on the shower and some spills that the housekeeper missed. However the bed was comfortable and breakfast was good.
Our softball team stayed there last weekend and this place was disgusting. When we first entered our room there was a smell that I was unable to describe other than awful. I later figured it out that it was a mold smell and the bathroom reeked of body odor/sweat. The smell had to have been embedded in the walls and floor as the towels and shower curtain did not smell. I was unaware that the place allowed pets and that added to the odors. Also, the main area of the hotel was filthy! I have been to a lot of other hotels where you saw someone constantly cleaning the area but not at this hotel. Also, the garbage cans outside and around the hotel were always filled to the rim. The lobby bathroom soap dispenser was broken the bathroom was dirty. It appears as if the dispenser was broken the entire length of our stay. I was extremely disappointed and will NEVER stay there again. I was surprised when we checked out and I expressed my issues with my hotel stay the counter person was shocked. I cannot imagine working there that you wouldnt notice your surroundings and the lack of cleanliness. Wow! Our team plays every year in Columbus but Ill be certain to advise all to choose another location.
Where to start one of the worst-run Wyndhams Ive ever seen. This is new management and clearly not better management. a quick look at the pictures Ive attached will show you that the hotel is in horrible disrepair and probably not very safe to stay in in terms of mold and mildewassociated with a cracked and wet ceiling.
RUN! everything is dirty and falling apart...to include the elevator. Dirty walls everywhere. Thin walls and ceilings. Doors that dont seal. You hear everything above and below and in the hall. Thermostat turns off at night so no control hot or cold.Worst hotel stay of my life. I only needed a place to sleep for a few hours passing through. I chose to sleep in my car with the dog and brave getting robbed. Every other hotel in the area was full.Do yourself a favor and spend the extra....hell even double to not be forced to deal with this hell
I have stayed at many Laquinta’s. This one appears to be older and needs updating. And the lobby is tiny. They have 4 chairs that’s it. The dining area is very small as well but serves the purpose if you don’t mind sitting very close to others. The breakfast was disappointing because at all the other Laquinta’s I have stayed at they have waffles. Scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy, sausage or bacon and all the regular continental breakfast items. This one only has continental breakfast items plus waffles and cereal. But the overall stay served the purpose. And most importantly the hotel was CLEAN!! And The front desk staff was very nice and polite.. I would stay st this location again if I needed a room for the night.
We have learned after a cross country trip to stick with La Quinta. We were originally drawn to their absence of pet fees, since we brought two cats. This location definitely needs updating- aesthetically it was pretty dated. But as always it was clean, with a comfy bed and fresh bedding, and that’s what I care about. A basically reliable and good hotel for the price.
Stayed here for a night on a long road trip. Front desk was friendly and accommodating. I had my dog with me and they were happy to give us a room on the first floor after I requested one. Rooms are dated but clean. Location is great. Youre within walking distance of several places to eat (Chipotle, Panera, etc). Plenty of grassy areas and sidewalk to walk the dog. Would recommend this hotel for a quick overnight, especially if you have a dog.
Id stay here again, but this has probably been the least impressive La Quinta Ive stayed at. Bathtub drain had hair in it, we couldnt use the in-unit ac/heater other than to just unplug it so it would stop blowing cold air, and the lobby staff always seemed too busy to answer a question. Still, La Quinta allows pets at no extra charge, and theyre affordable for a decent room.
Do NOT give them your card information weather it he online or in the motel because if for some reason you cant stay (in my case its because I had a card but not a MAJOR credit card) because even if you call to cancel or try to cancel another way and dont show up they charge you anyways.
Found bud begs in my bed as soon as I pulled the sheets back I caught one in a cup took it to the desk amd was told a manager would call me soon I finally get on contact with the desk after 3 attempts and was told I could not and would not be refunded my money staff was very rude and not wanting to help in any way, very poor service and management.
The night before check out my wife asked the girl at the front desk (Megan) for a late check out, even asked if there was a fee. She said no, and dont worry about it. The next day at noon the staff tries to walk right in my room and we tell them at the door about our conversation. About 45 minutes later I go to the lobby for coffee and the card wont let me back in. The girl at the front desk says we never asked for a late check out because its impossible for their staff to not write it down. Sheena from the front counter advised me to contact the better business bureau and was very aggressive with me. Upon check out, the site manager tried to rub it in my face by telling me he contacted the wrong front desk clerk to verify our conversation. I called just now and sheena said they spoke to Megan to verify the conversation and she said she doesnt remember. Dont stay here!
Decently clean hotel, with decent free breakfast and plenty of parking. Unfortunately they were overbooked one of the nights of our stay so did not get the room type booked with no rollaways available and not a lot of options or much more than a shrug from staff once wed signed the agreement and discovered the situation afterwards.
This hotel is in a nice spot. It;s close to shopping and food, which is always a plus, and its easy to find. The hotel itself is about average for the other La Quintas that Ive stayed in. The stairwells and elevator were clean and the guy at the front desk when I checked in was very nice. The room was good. The only bad part was the room itself was the fan in the bathroom, it goes on with the light and was really loud.Other very small problems were the dripping shower and the loose electrical outlets in the room. The bed was soft but comfortable for me and there were two extra pillows in the closet. The wifi is barely worth using. When I tested it on SpeedTest in my room it had a download speed of 0.54Mbps, my iphone on AT&Ts LTE network was 25Mbps down in the exact same spot. Thats unacceptable to call that high-speed internet.I would stay here again.
Compared to other hotels in the area, the quality of stay is much words at la Quinta. Rooms are old and out of date. Had to shut off the heat in the room because it rattled so loudly. Blinds did a very poor job of blocking out the outside light and had trouble sleeping. Would stay at every other hotel in the area before staying at la Quinta inn again
The staff is really friendly.lots of restaurants nearby.shopping mall nearby. Really a very good internet speed. No limit for adding devices for wifi. Cleans room really good and fixes any issues in the room. Nice parking. The breakfast menu could be a lil more good.I stayed here for almost a month overall was a good experience.
We stay at this La Quinta whenever we are traveling through the Columbus area. It is clean and well-kept, the staff is friendly, the breakfast is fine, and it is very reasonable. Further, they have a great pets policy, so our dog is welcome. We have always enjoyed being there, and well stay there again.
Stayed in a LA Quinta Inn in Verona NY night before and this one in Dublin was very disappointing. Check in was a long waiting game ... dirty sink, dead bugs on windows, hair on coffee tray, coffee stains all over , very low cleaning standards , this must be the ghetto La Quinta Inn.. cigarette smoke all over 3rd floor hallways deffiently not up to standards disappointed..
Tried 4 times to make reservations. Was put on hold for over 8 min. one time. Called back two times and was cut off after waiting 3-4 min. each time. The last time I waited 3-4 min. and they had the nerve to ask me if I could hold at least 3 more minutes...really? Too many other hotels that would like my money!
I give the Laquinta a 5 star rating. They gave what they advertised. Clean comfottable room with very comfortable bed. Had its own refridgerator and microwave. While a lot of people expect a full service breakfast they had a very decent continental breakfast. As for location it was less than 2 blocks off interstate and less than 300 feet ftom the Mariott hotel where our convention was.Next time in Dublin area I will gladly stay here.
I love this place. Great location, always easy to check in and check out. They always make accommodations for me to check in early. Only thing is their breakfast isnt the best. No hot options and no alternatives for people with dietary restrictions such as almond or soy milk
Manager is rude and does not know the meaning of hospitality. I have stayed here for 2 and a half weeks and had 3 rooms.....would kinda expect more especially out of management. On a good note it is in a good location close to restaurants and shopping.... Also note if you are a stay over DO NOT expect daily service...I had to take my trash out and take dirty towels up for an exchange

2022-04-05Positive: Staff was welcoming, very helpful with questions/needs. Very nice people! The beds were comfortable and firm, clean. Nice TV, the microwave and mini fridge worked. Shower got nice and warm, towels seemed to be new! They were clean and fluffy. Negative: The floor in my room was pretty dirty. Sticky and lots of debris. I didnt know pets were allowed so I heard dogs barking often. Thats on me though! Just be aware that pets are allowed. Made the mistake of staying on the first floor; loud.

2022-06-06Front desk staff weren’t welcoming at all, it took them a solid couple minutes to realize that I was standing there ready to check in. They both were too “busy” looking at the schedule or something. Definitely not worth the stay. It felt like a cheaply renovated super 8 hotel. The breakfast wasn’t really a breakfast by far one of the worst hotels I’ve stayed at. They are charging a premium for bad service.

2022-02-01Disappointed, the mattress on one bed needs to be replaced, the dip in the middle of it is so noticeable. The top drawer to a dresser will not stay closed. The hot water line at the sink is crossed. The hot water should be on the left and the cold on the right, but its the opposite. The hot water does not get hot enough at the sink or bath tube and the vent in the the bathroom is very dusty.I did appreciate the fact that they offer a continental breakfast and that all of the utensils were individually wrapped.

2022-05-07The outside of the hotel looked good. The inside was in need of repairs, and it looks like no one bothered to even try to clean up. The receptionists didnt care that you were there. Hardly spoke to me at all. Printed signs saying Sorry, *this* Sorry, *that* were taped all over. Hallways felt dirty. The room smelled like it was cleaned with bleach. The sheets werent washed as there was hair from the previous occupants. I definitely wasnt comfortable eating breakfast. I couldnt wait to get out of there

2022-03-31Just finished staying here for 5 days actually a really nice hotel. I can’t speak for all the reviews on here obviously, but we got a King room on the 4th floor that was entirely renovated. Beautiful 70 inch TV, comfortable bed/couch, and an amazing full walk in shower. Everything was SUPER clean. The breakfast served in the morning is really good and fresh, and the hotel is currently updated every single part of the hotel so it feels really new and fresh when you walk into it.For the price that we paid it’s completely unheard of, I’d say if your on the fence, just go ahead and book a room. When you get to the hotel, request that you get a room on the fourth floor because all the rooms on that floor are for sure newly renovated. The hotel is like minutes away from tons of restaurants and a pretty cool mall. It’s also only 15 minutes from Downtown Columbus.

2022-05-10Positive: Wonderful location. We expected an excellent hotel stay in this area, but the quality of the facility did not match the area. Negative: This hotel needs better management or maintenance department. At first, the room door would not open or close. My husband had to lift the door to close the door. As soon as we opened the closet to hang our clothing, the clothing rack fell off. ¿¿Â

2022-05-10Positive: This was one of the best hotel I have stayed in. Price was reasonable . Negative: I didn¿t like the breakfast they serve. Just muffin, boiled eggs, sausage and danish. Waffle was the only thing fresh. Didn¿t eat breakfast there. When I booked I was happy to see they were having breakfast ¿..disappointed!

2022-06-30Negative ratings should be an option. This wasn’t even a one star. Long story short, this is hands down the worse hotel I’ve ever stayed at. When we go to check in, we were told they were short staffed housekeepers. That should have been a red flag. The entire time we were there housekeeping did not clean our room. Dirty sheets and comforters had to be replaced. The replacements were dirty as well. Went to Walmart and bought out own sheets/blankets and towels/wash cloths. We’re going to try to find a new hotel, but after an almost 9 hour drive we were exhausted but we did check out a day early. Overall just horrendous and that’s no exaggeration.
