This appeared to be an older hotel that has been remodeled with updated furnishings. The room was good and the bed was comfortable. My only issue was that my card was charged before I arrived. The front desk manager told me that the owner does this and if a card is declined then the reservation is cancelled. That left me with a little janky feeling. I usually have a client with me who pays for both rooms. We were able to get the payment situation rectified the next morning by speaking with the manager. The breakfast did not have as many items as the LaQuinta that we stayed at the previous night. All in all it was not a bad stay.
I was a little sketchy at first when i saw how dirty the pool was, but i was relieved that it was clean and finally open. I overall had an amazing stay. The night shift lady was very sweet and nice. The breakfast guy was also very nice and very helpful, he also had good conversation and kept the food area clean. I loved the fact he wore gloves while handling food. Was jus a little upset hot tub wasnt working.
Literally one of the better hotels I have stayed in by Wyndham. The Continental breakfast was delicious and included in my stay. We stayed the weekend for an event in Cleveland. Because the hotel was situated in North Olmsted, it was a 20 minute drive to downtown Cleveland, and it was close to shopping, entertainment, and food. I would stay here again. It was my two children, my s/o, and myself. The pool was good, although I had to give a 4 star rating for the chunks of hair in the pool. This hotel is also under room remodel. The fourth floor is where we stayed in room 420. It had been remodeled. For these reasons I give this hotel a 4star. I would recommend.
We got the king suite, plenty of floor space, we were in Room 307, it would be nice for a family with a couple little kids. Had a sofa bed, full size stove, microwave, coffee maker, blow dryer and mini fridge. Beds are clean, floors are clean. Staff is very friendly. Lots of restaurants in the area but none we wouldve walked to just because of the way the side roads were set up.
They need to get rid of the lady who cant speak clearly at the front desk! She is so rude its not even funny ! She loves to hang up on you when you are supposed to be on hold. And when you call back, she doesnt say hello, she just hanged right up. So we went up there after all that, she was very surprised we was in town. Asked to talk to the manager. She called and talked to him in her language.. how rude! Who really knows what she was saying. Looks like they got a lot of bad reviews on her.. need to drop her. Im guessing they changed management. Used to be a wonderful place, not no more
First off, the hotel staff was very kind. That is the only reason this review has any stars. However, the accommodations were atrocious. The worst one first...I woke up in the morning, lifted the covers and was greeted by the pungent smell of urine in my clean bed. At first, I thought Id imagined it. Then I realized that the mattress and pillows were releasing the odor, and I was horrified. My HAIR smelled like it. I wanted to take a shower, but we literally left to go to another hotel (whom I begged to let us check in early), because I was so grossed out I couldnt be in there another minute. But wait! Theres more...The pool and hot tub area felt filthy, and the water was cloudy and smelled off. My kids still wanted to go in, so I let them. Afterwards, I realized the hotel had no conditioner! And they didnt even sell any, so my daughters hair was turning into a rats nest of tangles. I had to borrow conditioner by accosting random hotel guests, because it was too late in the evening to drag my young children to Target, which was the solution presented to me by the staff. Again, not unhelpful, but seriously?! What hotel where I spend more than $100 per night has no conditioner?!The room itself was in disrepair. The bathroom door handle was loose, the air conditioning unit was noisy and sounded on its last legs, so it was hard to sleep with it on. The AC only had an on or off setting, so you were either freezing or too hot. The bathroom tile was also peeling away from the tub and wall. Then, at 2 a.m., my daughter started vomiting. She has food poisoning. I cleaned up what I could then called the front desk for help. The problem was they only had one person at the front desk in the entire hotel overnight, so no one to help. (Not her fault, very nice lady, but seriously understaffed.) I had to leave my sick daughter in the shower and my five-year-old who was upset about getting woken up to get fresh linens and cleaning materials. They would not move me to another room, so we got to sleep in a vomit smelling room with my daughter on a vomit covered bed protector. This was a horrible hotel not worth the price. I will never make the mistake of staying at a La Quinta again.
We always stay at LaQuinta hotels where ever we go. This one was by far the best! The staff is so friendly and helpful! The rooms are always clean and super nice! The breakfast is excellent! Paul the owner went above and beyond by personally taking us to and from the airport on a day they don’t offer shuttle service. We will always recommend LaQuinta hotels to everyone and hopefully we will be back to this one many times!
I would give 0 stars if possible. Staff were rude, rooms were dirty, the hot breakfast was a fruit cup, juice box, and cold coffee, and they were doing work on the hotel at 730am on Thanksgiving waking everyone up. I stayed here for 2 things--hot breakfast and the pool (essentials when traveling with little kids). Prior to going to the pool I asked staff if it was open and they said yes but failed to tell me that the heater was broken. So I got my kids in their suits and when we went to the pool it was so cold we could see our breath and the water was freezing. This hotel is unexceptable and disgusting. After reading reviews after the fact it is apparent that management doesnt really care.**Edit--Ive tried calling and left 2 messages for the management to call and have yet to receive a call back.
Not the best La Quinta weve stayed at. No coffee maker in the room. Lights unplugged or not working and found clothes left in closet from previous guest.Front desk folks wher happy to correct what we found - especially the coffee maker. We understand staffing can be an issue, especially with COVID so we weren upset but it seems they missed the mark on this stay.
Wonderful staff. Clean rooms. The Pool AND hot tub is beautiful. When they dont have a lot of kids.Lol. Best if you want alone time in the pool is to come at 7 AM before everyone gets up beautiful, peaceful and Bliss. They also exceptt fur babies. I think they should have a time set just for adults in the hot tube and pool.
I highly do not recommend staying in this hotel. The second floor is in renovation. They did not tell us. Walking through the second floor felt hazardous and unsafe because of the plastic rugs and equipment outside the rooms. I rented two rooms, one toilet did not work. Another room the shower doesn’t heat up and the key got stuck. It flooded the bathroom. We told front desk and she said there was no one for maintenance. They didn’t bother to switch our rooms or give refunds. Managers are not helpful. Take your money elsewhere.
Ive been all over the country. This place only gets the stars for the quality of the rooms. Otherwise, extremely disappointed. We were told check in at two. Got to the desk at 230, and were told it was 3, or we would need to pay $25. No worries... We would wait. Asked to use the bathroom, and we were told it was broken. Ok. Went to the mall to use the restroom. Came back. Went to the room. No shampoo. Asked at the desk. They were out of it. Ok. Went to the pool. Spa was closed. Ok. Back too the room but asked for extra towels. They never showed up. Called for a wake up call, but at this point was cautious. So we set our phone. Guess what? Two days later and still no wake up call. Went to the desk to ask for a pillow. Person behind the desk was rude and arguing with us. No surprise, wont be back here ever again. Beware. Worst service ever.
Christian at the front desk was nice and helpful when I checked into an handicapped room. Tammy and Meghan were the best & brightest part of staying at the LaQuinta near Great Northern mall. They and most of the other staff went above and beyond to make me comfortable while I was there four days. Meghan brought me new towels and bathroom toiletries before she vacuumed my room when I asked her to. Tammy at the front desk brought my suitcases to the door for me because I’m handicapped. The room was clean and comfortable except for the bed.The only problem I had there was when a man I didn’t know, later identified to me as Dennis, used a key card to come into my room without announcing himself or knocking. It scared me out of my wits so I called the front desk to report what happened in case the police needed to be called. They told me it was him so I didn’t ask for the police. I guess he thought no one was in the room but he never came to me afterwards and apologized while I was still at the hotel.Someone who didn’t include their name emailed me yesterday with what seemed like a very general email saying they were sorry about the “problem” with my stay. Even though the rest of the staff was courteous above and beyond the staff at other hotels I won’t be returning to that LaQuinta because of the unwelcome key card entry into my room!! In my opinion the LaQuinta’s standard hohum response to my complaint and survey did not address the gravity of the “problem”. Put the locks on your doors, even during the day, if you don’t want to possibly have the “problem” I did with only, what I felt was, a token response from the hotel.
Positive: Location Negative: The shuttle advertised was on limited hours but not noted. Several areas being painted. No one mentioned anything at check in that people were working and painting rooms. We found ourselves between rooms being painted when we could smell it in our room.
DO NOT STAY HERE!!! The hotel was completely dirty. From the floors to trash piled up in the hallway; it was horrible. The towels are stained. The maid service only comes after checkout and does NOT do daily cleaning. The staff were unprofessional and what seemed to be undertrained. I saw the male front desk associate curse at two guests. He said that his brother was the owner of the hotel so they shouldnt bother calling corporate. This hotel also overcharged me and canceled my reservation without a refund. This caused me to stay in the airport overnight because all the hotels were sold out in the area. Even coming from the airport was rough because they advertise an airport shuttle but it only runs by appointment. When trying to make an appointment for it, the driver is never available. This entire stay was a nightmare. If you ever come to Cleveland...DO NOT STAY HERE!!
Positive: Location to the airport Negative: They advertise an airport shuttle which is why I booked this property. Upon arrival I was informed that the shuttle only runs from 830 am so this did not help for my early morning flight. This information should be disclosed prior to booking.
I spend nine months out of the year in hotels traveling for work. I called this hotel three times and spoke to the front desk to confirm hot tub and guest laundry were open. I was told yes three different times after checking in the hot tub was closed and washer was broken very very disappointed
I shouldve known that this wasnt going to go well from the moment I pulled into the half plowed parking lot that was littered with cigarette butts and garbage. I walked into the lobby at 3 pm and stood in line for 30 minutes waiting for 3 people to check in. With so much time to wait I could see crumbs from food all over the lobby floor. Its now 5 pm and I still dont have a room. Poor management, poor attention to detail, poor rating.
I have nothing good to say about this place. I checked into room 526 on 12/27/21 and checked out. The front desk worker Nika is a liar. Our room had blood splattered on the walls and rug. Dust and ash debris clearly from a recent fire and crumbs on the carpet and chair. The lamp was broken and the bedding was stained. I asked to be changed to a new room and Nika said that “ALL of the rooms looked like this” because they were under renovations. I asked about the crumbs and blood and she said “the rooms will be cleaned AFTER the renovations were done” Well I couldn’t sit down let alone sleep there. Upon going to check out. Two men were in front of me. They were complaining that they booked a two bed and received 1 king bed. Nika told them because they booked through priceline that they would have to pay extra in order to receive a different room. Not even 20 minutes before she said there were NO other rooms. I have pictures and video. People take your money somewhere else. Worst experience ever.
Started out bad. When we got to our room, it either was someone elses room or they didnt bother cleaning the room before assigning it to a customer...see pics. The second room was much better newly remodeled, so the dirt was from the fresh paint. The window opened which was different and nice. Two stars deducted for no working hot tub, a cold pool and no towel rack (for those staying more than a single night).
Absolutely stay elsewhere! This used to be a great place to stay, but they must be under new management because the last two times that I stayed here, the front desk employee was extremely rude and incompetent (when she finally showed up at the desk...a maintenance worker had to find her for me the second time). I am a professional businesswoman with decades of travel experience. I know about early check-in policies and fees. I called at 11:14am to inquire about early check-in. The woman asked my name and arrival time over and over. Looked up my reservation, said No Problem at All for the Noon arrival time. I arrived at 12:10pm. When the maintenance worker found her to check me in, she tried to charge me a $25 early check-in fee. I said she didnt mention that on the phone, and that I would wait in the lobby instead of paying the fee. She would not return my license and instead started arguing with me in front of the maintenance worker. Insisted that she disclosed the fee to me. Asked me to show her my phone to prove that I called the right hotel. Continued to argue and talk over me until I told her to stop arguing with a customer especially in front of employees. She walked away and when she returned, said her manager was in a meeting and I needed to wait for him. I said No, call his manager. Use the escalation chain that surely a franchise as large as this one has in place. She called her manager back, spoke to him in front of me, but NOT in English, hung up and said Give me your card! I asked why and she said it was for incidentals only. I gave her the card, then asked if the property recently changed management. She ignored that question and all others. She threw papers at me with no pen, saying not a word until it was time for her spiel about free breakfast. I wrote my cell number and date and time on the paper she gave me and asked that the manager call me immediately. She once more spoke, to accuse me of misspelling my own name. (WTH?!) This is my third and final stay at this property. They had their chance. Try the Crowne Plaza or Comfort Inn, both nearby in Middleburg Hts. instead of here.
I travel of fair amount of the time and stay at a lot of different hotels. I tend to keep coming back to la Quinta for these reasons. The hospitality skills of the entire staff is outstanding. I particularly want to mention Alexis who greeted me at the front desk in a professional manner. She was very accommodating to my needs as I arrived a little bit early for checking. The housekeeping staff is great the rooms always look good and theyre very friendly. I love their hot breakfasts and have never had a bad time at a la Quinta inn
Room and furniture where in need of repair and cleaning! A dog had chewed the heck out of the arm of the couch, Graffiti carved into woodwork, drawers were busted out of the dresser, Coffee pot was missing parts. Tub had a constant leak. Not enough towels. No linens for the pull out couch even though they knew we would be using it. The hot tub was broken and the staff said it had been broken for a long time. Every time we went to the front desk, no one was there. Staff were always in the back room with the TV on or on their phone. No coffee made in the morning in the lobby until we asked for it (because our coffee maker in our room wouldn’t work.) The lobby had been remodeled and was the only nice thing about this hotel. We have stayed at numerous La Quinta‘s and this was definitely the worst ever, at $150 for the night, PLEASE GO Elsewhere.
This was one of my worst experience ever i do not recommend this place to nobody therebwas bed bugs in my room i was in 3 different rooms on 3 different floors and it was all the same the staff was super disrespectful did not help the General Manager was super rude and did not know anything that was going on at the place police were at the place allnight. Th
The front desk lady seemed pretty overwhelmed and a bit cold at first to us, but that changed when things started going south. She assigned us a room and when we got there it was dirty. Streamers and pizza boxes were strewn about the room from the night before and we werent thrilled about it. But her attitude changed and she became super compassionate and understanding and had housekeeping clean our room immediately. Apparently they had a call off and thats why our room was dirty. Overall our stay was pleasant, aside from that setback. Also, wish the shuttle to the airport ran earlier than it did.
We didnt get in til really late so didnt complain. Tried and failed to sleep. Bed felt broken, trash in halls, bleach smell around the building, pretty disappointing for our anniversary stay. It was a wintery storm weekend so hoping this is not how it regularly runs for other peoples sake.
Terrible!! We were supposed to stay for one night. We got there have us two rooms. They were on the floor that supposedly they were renovated! Doors were broken stain on the carpet and the fridges were dirty and with garbage. I have a letter from the manager of a cancellation and saying I won’t be charge, well I’m being charge I will write to my CC and to Expedia to get my money back. Terrible place the manager stole my money and hide every time Expedia called to speak with him, he even told me he would give me the refund and will call Expedia but of course he didn’t! Terrible place DONT STAY HERE!
Lobby and overall building look fine. The rooms were pretty dirty like other reviews mention. The shower tub would not drain which is pretty gross. Tons of wear on the desk and nightstands etc. Would not stay again. Also, when we got back to the hotel saturday night there was no parking available. We had to park our cars underneath the car port turnaround and them move them in the morning. There is a whole row of parking attached to the hotel lot but somehow its reserved for the office building next door? Even on the weekends? Makes no sense.
The morning of check in when I went to go take a shower the shower did not work, handle of bath not turning at all. I called guest services & the lady @ the front desk was very, very rude & did not believe me & said well I’m not sure what to tell you. She sent house keeping they checked & of course not working, gave us another room. The lady that first took my call then was very nice, & gave us an extra 1 in the new room. This room was “cleaned” but yet the bed cover was dirty, it cooked like something brown smeared all over disgusted, then when I go to turn on the standing lamp it falls over. I am not the type to write reviews but I am just very un pleased.
Positive: The comfortable pillows and bed Negative: The parties on my floor till late at night then the staff decides to talk very loudly outside my door while I was trying to sleep. Woke me up and kept me awake for over an hour having loud conversations about someone had a party in here Disrespectful
The reviews are correct, this place is filthy and smells. Dogs were barking, fixtures and hardware are broken or missing, and the pool is dirty and cloudy. I want to put the best spin on this review but they made it hard.Perhaps, one positive about this hotel is the lady at the front desk (8:30 PM check-in) was really nice and was doing her job well. A second positive - the beds are okay. Other than that, this place is filthy and smells. I would not recommend this hotel. This is the worse La Quinta Inn & Suites I’ve personally been in.Also beware they allow dogs and other pets. If you are allergic to dogs and cats, you might want to find another place. Dog started barking at 3:45 AM.P.S. If you are management don’t bother replying with one of your copy and paste replies. You have a couple years of bad reviews.
My room smelled so bad , the carpet is dirty. The toiletries are so cheap. Please Management do something about it . How many more reviews you need to clean up. I had to stay because it was dangerous to drive in a very snowy night but I will not comeback here ever. Worst experience ever.
We frequently stay at La Quinta hotels and always have a pleasant experience. This was not only the worst La Quinta I’ve ever stayed in, but one of the worst hotels I’ve stayed in period. There was hair on the clean towels, stains on the wall and the air conditioner smelled like vomit. The bathroom needs serious renovations and the shower did not drain. People are coming and going, slamming doors at all hours of the night. They are currently renovating and have trailers taking up lots of parking spots. When we arrived at 11 PM, there was a single parking spot. I wish I had read previous reviews before booking, instead of assuming it would be the same quality as other La Quintas. 0/10
My buddy and I travel the US to attend different NFL games and one of the reasons why we stayed here was they advertised hot breakfasts..that was a lie it’s a brown sack with a fruit cup and nutrigrain bar. I asked if they had anything other than coffee and tea to drink in the morning and the lady in the front desk told me what you see is what we have. The beds are hard and extremely uncomfortable and due to the amount of people that stay here, since it’s a spring mattress the bed I slept on leans. The furniture is worn out and hallways smelt like someone had been smoking. Pillows are lumpy as well. I promise you because of this experience I’ll never stay at a La Quinta again anywhere in the US.
We had used towels hanging in our bathroom.....then when we opened up our bed, it had NOT been changed.....I ask the front desk for housekeeping to please change our bed...while we wete out, they came in, left clean sheets, but didnt change the bed.....we called and ask about the hot tub, we were told it was great...it was non-working the whole weekend......the breakfast has no meat and by 8 a.m. they were out of almost everything.
DO NOT STAY HERE! The only good thing was the location other than that do not stay here. Rooms were DISGUSTING AND SMELLED REALLY BAD! The manager wasnt friendly nor accommodating. She said she was going to give a discount due to dogs in the room next to me up barking all night. Upon check-out I didnt see that reflected on my bill and she acted as if she didnt have time to show me on my bill where it was shown. Needless to say I never got the discount for my inconvenience. 1 star for the 2 employees that were kind....the young maintenance man and the young man that was working the front desk.
I’ve stayed at a La Quinta before and it was fine but this location was the worst hotel ever. Furniture is scratched and bitten by animals, bleach stains on the carpet, room had coffee maker with no coffee tea or cups, sewer smell coming from the toilet, beds are loud broken and falling apart, staff is overwhelmed and breakfast was a honey bun a juice box and fruit cup. We chose this hotel because it had breakfast included and breakfast was pretty much a snack from the corner store. Very disappointing. Through me and my bfs first road trip off. Will pay for a better looking hotel without breakfast included next time.
This was the worst La Quinta I have ever stayed at! My wife and I routinely stay at La Quintas when traveling with generally good results, but we were quite disappointed with this hotel. The room was dirty, the carpet torn in multiple places, and the shower water only got lukewarm at best. The walls seemed very thin; we could hear everything our next-door neighbors were saying as they were up until 2am partying. There were piles of dirt and debris in the stairwells. The side entry door that was supposed to be locked requiring key-code entry was broken, allowing anyone to enter. We noticed the people parked next to us in the parking lot smoking marijuana in their car on multiple occasions. We did not feel safe or relaxed in the least. Recommend avoiding at all costs.
The location of the hotel near the mall was nice and that’s where I give it one star. The rest of our stay was not that great. When we checked in it was a longer process than I have ever experienced at a hotel and involved signing a bunch of papers. The staff then were also not very friendly I felt almost like I was at the BMV. We had two rooms and one of them had what looked like a blood stain on the floor (though it was probably just wine or juice). That room was also missing a phone or a do not disturb sign. Our other room had a distinct smell like someone had been smoking Marijuana in the room or was doing it in a room next door. The bathroom doors also had weird stains on the back of them. The rooms were kinda small and for the price I paid for a night it wasn’t worth it. I do not recommend staying here as there are a lot of hotels in the area that you can probably get cheaper and are likely better.
In all of my years staying at hotels, I’ve never had a stranger unlock my door and walk in while I was sleeping, until this stay. When we first got there, we had to wait about 10 minutes at the front desk for an employee to come and check us in. When we finally got to our room, the floor was disgusting, and it was insanely loud because they were doing construction down the hall. We got a different room, and this one was quieter, but as we layed down in the bed the box spring kept falling off the frame. We were looking forward to relaxing in the hot tub, but they had caution tape blocking it off.Later we went to bed, and at 1 am a stranger literally walked in our room while we were sleeping. We woke up as they were walking in so they left our room, and a few minutes later our room phone rang and it was a person at the front desk asking for our reservation, since apparently they forgot to mark down that we moved rooms. This morning we went down for breakfast, and instead of the breakfast of “eggs, waffles, and more” that is advertised on their website, we got a brown bag with muffins, a granola bar, a fruit cup, and juice.Weve stayed at la quintas before and loved them, but we will definitely be avoiding this location whenever we are out this way, even if it costs a little more. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
My only problems were that there was no breakfast as advertised & no one even mentions it to you. The next day a guy asked the lady at the front desk why it wasnt on the website & she replied its not my problem. They also charged extra money to my card that no one mentioned to me before scanning my card & me noticing on my own. Other than that our room was very satisfying! We had a King suite. It had 2 bathrooms, the bedroom had its own door to the hallway & one into the livingroom area of the room. There were plenty of closest & drawer space. A microwave & dorm size fridge. The pool was open, but there was more of a crowd than we thought there would be.
Positive: The lady behind the desk was nice. Negative: Very, very disappointed in the lack of timely shuttle service. Main reason we booked here and had to park at the airport. Room was barely ok, toilet wouldnt flush, shower was terrible, to over 3 minutes of running water to finally get warm, at 11pm
The rooms are not all fixed. There is a stench in some rooms, they dont have a real shuttle service and there is no breakfast on the morning as advertised. The showers to me are very dangerous, especially tall men and also for small children. My sisters room the tv and the phone in the room was not working. I had other family that stayed with us in other rooms (4 rooms total) and each had an issue. To resolve thr stench smell they offered other rooms that had a stench to it or there was something wrong. To resolve my nieces room issue they offered to spray it with an industrial deoderizer when the room should either had the carpet removed or steam cleaned. The lobby attendants do not have uniforms and the lobby looked better than the rooms, the pool area the lounging chairs had a whole in it, the hot tub was not working. The manager was working in his street clothes and when I brought the issues to his attention he asked how I booked the rooms. Whether or not I used Expedia or another hotel booking site that offer lower rates should not matter, if this is the product or service that is already being offered why would I pay more sublevel service that I am already getting. You should offer the same high level of service to all your paying customers no matter what they paid or how and have pride in what you do and offer.
Positive: The beds were comfortable Negative: The pool was unavailable when we could use it, closed early, opened late. The staff person sent us to a floor that was under construction, the room unfinished, unapologetic sent us to a different room. The brown bag breakfast was horrible, unimaginative
Had a king reservation gave me a double because said had maintenance issues. Would elaborate. I know when Im being lied to. Got my room. Room looked thrown together to look clean but wasnt. I stay at a lot of hotels. Not a good experience. Just be honest and treat people the way you want to be treated.
Completely miserable experience. They are apparently doing renovations - started before 9am on a Sunday morning - with nonstop drilling. Add that to the complete lack of staffing - there is one person working the front desk, and she is overwhelmed - and the yahoos screaming and running through halls at all hours of the morning and night. Place is not clean, garbage cans overflowing in all the common areas. I’d give it less than 1 star if I could. I’ve stayed at decent to nice La Quintas. This one is the worst by far.
If I could give them zero Stars I would. We requested a handicap enabled room. The chair that was in the shower gave way when my husband tried to use it. Two of the legs slipped and he nearly fell. There was black mold all over as indicated in the photos. The ceiling paint was peeling. There was no trash can in the bathroom and only one in the room itself. We had two bedside lamps one on each side, but only one of them worked. The curtains hanging by the window were very thin, so thin that when we turned the air conditioner on blew up into the air making the desk impossible to use. I had prop things on the windowsill to keep the curtains in place. Its as if whoever owns this hotel has never put a dime back into it. The receptionist was very polite and friendly so I guess she deserves some recognition. But the photos I took speak for themselves. Never again will I stay at any La Quinta hotels. So I have gotten a reply from management staff. I am not willing to step 1 foor in any La Quinta hotel ever again! I should of gotten my money back from this hotel, but they didnt offer. That handicap chair is a lawsuit waiting to happen!!!!
Where do I begin🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️ Walking in has the nastiest smell. All entryways are dirty, the whole hotel stinks. The elevator is also outdated… the rooms 🤢🤮 walls nasty, carpet nasty, windows nasty, bathroom nasty, beds old, sheets smelly and nasty. Bathroom toilet is gross, tub feels like it’s gonna fall in, ceiling has water leak stains. Doors filthy, air conditioner smells HORRIBLE and full of old dust that can be seen, lots of traffic. Couldn’t even stay in the room, refused to sleep in the bed. If I could’ve gotten my money back I would’ve. So Nasty that I’m leaving with a paid day. This hotel needs to be shut down and completely remodeled. It’s unsafe and definitely unclean. Ruunnnnnnn and run FAST 😳😡😤 p.s I didn’t want to leave any stars 😒🙄 those saying the hotel is nice are liars. This place is disgusting and that’s being nice
Easy to get to, friendly front desk, clean and comfortable room. Two minor annoyances... somehow there were no cups in the room, which we didnt notice until morning (so a small delay in taking pills until we got to the lobby), and the parking spaces are all in the back of the hotel, but the back door was not accessible (presumably due to some renovation work that seemed to be happening someplace we werent).
When I arrived to check into the hotel at approximately 6:15 pm EST, the room I reserved was not ready. I find this unacceptable as check-in began 3 hours prior.Morgan was working the front desk and explained that I would have to wait another 15-20 minutes for the room. During this situation, Morgan did not offer any other option or recompense to ameliorate the issue. She offered a smug attitude and indifference. Furthermore, once checked in there was hair on the bathroom counter. The tub did not drain properly. And the in-house gym had an odor. Lastly, parking was horrible. Trailers block most of the available parking spaces. Will not book here again.Emailed Paul Patel, the manager, and have yet to receive a response. Total rip-off !
We stayed overnight with our young granddaughters. We booked the room through a discount service. The room was dingey, the bathroom and tub were dirty and the toilet was ridiculously low. We took the girls to go swimming, but the pool water was filthy. The pool area was advertised as having been recently renovated. Not! Just because you find a better price for your room online, it doesnt mean that all we deserve is a undesirable experience in a shabby room with a wonderful window view of a huge concrete post! Id rate it zero stars if I could!
They are completely out of soap. It is concerning that there are about 100 people in this hotel and no one is washing their hands in the middle of a pandemic. They only offered shampoo when we asked for soap.Sink drain was clogged, bath tub faucet needs elbow grease to turn, pillows were uncomfortable. This seems consistent with the other reviews. They tried to remedy the situation by giving us extra points and gave us $25 off our stay.
Lets start off that it was 2 am I was searching for a room for a night just a few hours to sleep before I got back on the road. After spending a while on the phone a representative had found a room at this location I booked room by phone was told I could check in soon as I arrived. 8 get to hotel only to find front desk is empty and no employee to be found. Another gentleman came in also trying to book a room and no one came out. Called the representative back and they even tried to call hotel.. I politely knocked on the 2 doors near back room by desk. Only to hear the employee sleeping and upset. So now here I am trying to check in and I get refused service because check in isnt until 3pm!!!! Mind you I asked several times over the phone if I could check in soon I arrived due to the fact it was late and I just wanted to sleep. But for the simple fact your employee refused my service and did nothing to help in return I will not be returning to any la Quinta establishments. And I will refer people to stay elsewhere. Oh and not to mention I was also denied my refund as to I didnt have a 24 hr notice of cancelation.... how could I have 24 hrs when I booked the room at 2am. So therefore I would only have what 12 hours, so how would it have been even possible to cancel?
Needs a thorough cleaning. Bathroom needs repair (tub doesnt drain... Standing water when showering). Tub has rust spots and cracked wallboard). Walls need proper painting. Paint mark on tile from door. Carpets need cleaned (paint stained?). Dead (thankfully) cockroach left behind.
Walls were partially smeared in a mystery black substance, carpet had a mystery red stain as well. Bathrooms and toilet were dirty af, no body wash or shampoo in bathroom, THERE WASNT EVEN A SHOWER CURTAIN IM THERE, towels and bed had hair on them, bathroom door kept getting stuck on the top, I overall felt dirty just sleeping in there. I see management keeps leaving replies to these bad reviews but it seems like nothings getting done because massive problems still exist. According to my family a stay at an Alabama La Quinta, it was bad there too, I just advise anyone reading this to NEVER stay at a La Quinta, especially this one unless youre absolutely forced to.
We got into our room & not only was there a foul scent but the fridge didnt work & we found a vibrator in the bed! I immediately called down to front desk they said that the owner comes in at 6am & to speak to him (Paul- owner). I spoke to him in the morning & he seemed to careless but said he would call me! I have since called (his voicemail is full) I have left messages for general manager tho! But have yet to receive any call back!
As with every establishment right now, they are short staffed and doing 2 or 3 peoples jobs... cleanliness was overall very good. Very nice staff. This was a last minute choice when we refused to stay at hotel we originally booked. La Quinta was nice, clean, comfortable and welcoming. We will be back.
Alexis L was a godsend! She is extremely professional and sweet! She accommodated all our requests with quickness and a smile! She knows how to do her job and she was there for us when we needed it most! Thank you so much Alexis! You deserve a significant raise! The room was extremely nice and spacious! Very clean and easily accessible! 5 stars to your hotel and alexis!
No staff was ever present when we visited. Had to wait for someone to come out to check us in, my husband had to wait for someone to bring out the breakfast bags, and we had to wait for someone to check us out. The lobby smelled of smoke and so did our room. Id say its pretty average.
So many good things to say about this hotel, but basically they saved the day after a HORRIBLE experience at another hotel in Elyria. They were welcoming, terrific customer service, the room was clean and no issues to complain about. Snack bar to purchase things, a nice little coffee area which helps on some rough mornings. Best of all they actually had their pool open which our kids loved. It was a little cloudy, but overall nice. I want to say a big praise to Maggie( sorry if this is wrong) and Madison. They were the ladies we had touched base with within our visit from July 2nd till July 4th. Truly gave good customer service with a smile. We will be back to Ohio and this will be our first stop when looking for a place to stay. Thankful we found them and rescued our trip from becoming a total disaster.
This hotel was by far THEE WORST! First off they have false advertisement. They say they have shuttle busses, but they never show up. I was outside for 2 hours until my brother came to get me because I realized they wasnt coming. When I arrived at the hotel my first room bathroom toilet didnt flush so they gave me another room but let me keep that one as well. When I went back to that room it was another couple in there. My key worked for half the rooms on that floor. Moral of story is I wouldnt recommend it.
I love this hotel, but this year was quite challenging. Ive been coming to this hotel for a couple of years now. My stay in February, during the unexpected snowy and ice condition. However I FELL on a VERY thick area of ice! Right on the side of the no parking area where the cars come in for a brief moment. Thank God I was with my grandsons! Went inside limping, telling them I fell the owner was on the phone at the first computer at the front desk and DID NOT acknowledge me AT ALL. The sweet young at the desk didnt know what to say or do. He walked out and got in his white Mercedes and took off! This was very hurtful to me! Nevertheless I did return in April because I LOVE this hotel. But the rooms have went downhill and I was a little disappointed. And my stays are always 2-3 nights ALL the time. The worker ALEXIS is AWESOME she takes PRIDE in her work. La Quinta I love you guys but in February you guys disappointed me and my stay in April was disappointing, I was embarrassed about the rooms as if it was MY house......and the money that was held on my card was RIDICULOUS!! I got it back but it took a week which I was told it took a day or two. A lil over $300 was held even after I checked out and paid a lil over $400 after check out!!! The pool area had a bad smell. I want to do another get away in June for a few days but Im contemplating should I choose the hotel I truly loved at one point. Thanks for listening!!
Checked in on a Wednesday. Wed night wasn’t bad? Thursday was starting to get a little loud. Friday night was awful. Really got only an hour or two of sleep, tops. I’m no prude, but the whole floor, including our room, smelled heavily of weed. Our room actually was so bad that it smelled like a couple people were smoking it in the room. I usually wouldn’t care much, but I had my kiddos and it was making them sick. All night, and I mean until about 4a.m., I think people were playing musical rooms on our floor and slamming the doors every time they shut them, which was often. People yelling up and down the hallway. The room was clean, but the rest of the hotel, down the hallways, in the elevators, was a mess. There’s no breakfast like there’s supposed to be. That’s part of the reason I chose this hotel. Most of the front desk employees were very very sweet. That was nice.
Worse experience I ever had, I should have just slept in the car, they charged me $857 for a 3 night stay. I prepaid on groupon 148 and was in told only 50 hold on my card. The hold would be refunded when I check out. ThThey charged me 367, then checked out another 317, and another 25 for checking out afternoon, understandable. But I talked to my bank couldnt do anything and hotel manager, then someone else. I was told someone pressed the wrong button. Then no one could even confirm any exact charges. I never got a receipt not even at checkout. But everything still in dispute. Then the room had random long hairs everywhere even in the sheets, I had to sleep on top of the covers and the floor I was told was quiet. I never got any good rest, large barking dogs, kids screaming and running in the hall ways and grown men having arguments and conversations on opposite ends of the hallway. Never again
Our experience was ok at best. The staff was very nice and the rooms were typical mediocre hotel rooms. Nothing to write home about. The problems start with the fact that yes their pool was open but it was cloudy. And obviously having chemical balance problems. On top of that they were not in any way monitoring how many people were swimming. We were in the pool for 20 minutes tops because it was just simply too crowded. In this day and age of Covid-19 I dont think thats really acceptable. As we started to settle into our room my youngest daughter tripped and landed on a metal pole that was for some reason sticking out from the bed. Seriously bruising her leg. There is no reason for the pole to be sticking out from the bed. After we recovered from that we pulled their blankets down to lay down we found a clump of someone elses hair still attached to a rubber band in-between the blankets. Gross. Then ALL night long I could hear what felt like EVERY OTHER PERSON in the hotel, almost like they were in my bed with me. Our upstairs neighbors as well as our nextdoor neighbors were loud and obnoxious all night long. Only saving grace is the fact it didnt wake my kids up. Just kept me up all night. So long story short, it was ok but no I probably wouldnt stay here again unless it was the only acceptable choice. I would also like to mention our ground floor room has a window big enough to walk through that opened with no screen and no lock on it...Edit to say: We were very concerned we had left our daughters school tablet in the room. They were extremely helpful all 4 times we called checking to see if they found it. We definitely appreciate the help. And as I stated at the beginning the staff was definitely very nice and helpful.
I really dont recommend people without anamil to stay at this hoteli have vary bad experience booked a room to sleep so i can driver to allentown PA next day end up sleeping 3 hours only its like a zoo dogs Barking next door like crazycalled service and they didnt do nothing about itmanagement should think smarter and start put people with animals in one flooranyway i am leaving now with no enough sleep to drive 7 hours home 😴
Manager was rude .Checked in,next day was told I was charge a no show fee, Payed $80 for Wednesday night than charged a $130 for Thursday night would not give me the Room for $80.Was very small no Table or extra Chair , Bathroom had Mold around thethe soap dish tub was Rusted And gross . It said breakfast but was a Box a juice A breakfast bar, I would not recommend this motel to anyone
I went to just get a weekend away and it was absolutely amazing! The room was in immaculate condition, and all the workers were very friendly and amazing people. They cared about me and my stay as I was like family. I will most definitely be returning! My dog was also treated like royalty! They even gave me a card with caring words written by the women at the front desk! The pool and hot tub were very clean and warm! Adam prepared an amazing delicious breakfast every morning! I definitely recommend every to stay at this hotel! Thanks so much everyone that worked there, I felt as I was at home. Happy holidays to everyone at La Quinta!
Plus side: most employees wore masks properly, it’s pet friendly, the fridge worked well. Negative side: luggage trolley had two flat tires and no one seemed to care, no coffee for the coffee maker in the room, no cups at all in the room, only cheap styrofoam cups in the lobby, the shower valve wouldn’t fully switch from bath to shower so the shower was barely a trickle.
If you are only eating the bread products the breakfast might not be so bad. My boyfriend said it reminded him of being in the army. We went to enjoy the pool and hot tub, but there were at least 8 kids jumping back and forth from 630 am to 10pm when it closed. Would be nice if they had some curfew for
Came into Ohio thinking my experience was going to be top notch, but l was sadly mistaken. The line for check in, was very long..and it was almost 10pm. The staff was using the elevator the entire time l was in line for about 15 mins. The staff was using the elevator to move furniture on to different floors, once my family and l wanted to use the elevators, it took way to long to reach the ground floor to take us to the 5th floor, we decided to take the stairs. (Very tacky) Upon entering our room, the beds were squeaky, the TV lost signal almost all night, the alarm went off and woke me up at 5a.m, the pool was filthy, shower pressure wasnt very satisfying.. very very disappointed.
La Quinta is well decorated and the lobby is spacious. Most regular rooms are small. We stayed in a suite and it is very nice with two bathrooms. The best part of the stay was the manager and she was very helpful and has a great customer service. There are many guests with animals and we smelled cigarette smoke in the hallways. The inn may need better cleaning.
DO NOT STAY HERE, I REPEAT DO NOT STAY. Upon arrival I was greeted by a lady at the front desk who proved to be unknowledgeable abt anything that was even happening at the hotel, but things slowly just went downhill. When entering the hotel the room looked like it hadn’t even been cleaned, stains appeared on the carpet, chair and many other places throughout the room, but again I just ignored it. We actually booked the hotel for my 8 year old son to swim so we figured we’d just swim and go home rather then sleeping overnight. When we arrived at the pool though we were absolutely HORRIFIED. used condoms were surrounded all around the pool, along with a bag of trash, dirty hair ties, a used plated and many more contaminated items. Along with this, the water appeared to be filthy.
I didnt like the stay because at 12am the police was involve in a fight they got in front of my room and ended bad at 5am. My children and I couldnt sleep crying. Now, Customer service was great, Alexis white was amazing and helpful! They were so helpful because I checked out before hand due to the inconvenience. In another note, Rooms are outdated.
I love all La Quintas but I had never been to this one so I figured Id try it out and it was so nice! I was able to get a completely last minute room with 1 king sized bed for less than $100. The staff was friendly and helpful and the rooms are cozy and comfy. Theres also a pool and hot tub. Overall nice vibes. Only thing Id like better was more of a variety at breakfast.
We needed a place to stay for a long weekend because our A/C died and we were not going to put our 2 small children through the torture of heat with humidity while we waited for the repair crew to arrive on Monday. We arrived and checked in with a friendly clerk, he explained to us that they couldnt offer us a crib for our infant because it was stolen and offered us a pack and play but it was going to cost us $10. That was my first red flag. Fast forward to the hotel room and it was nothing special, but my favorite part was the fire alarm hanging by wires from the wall... strike two. Over the course of our stay, the room was not cleaned ONCE. BIG STRIKE THREE. We had purposefully left the room for six hours everyday to get enough time for someone to come in and vacuum, get the trash, and change our towels-- we even took our dog from the room so the work could be done without interference. Nothing was done within our entire stay. We had to do everything ourselves-- taking out trash, getting towels and soap, etc. The clerk said something about Covid-19 rules but what we needed done daily was new sheets, towels and a quick vacuuming, no need to touch our stuff or come into contact with us so that was a pretty bs response. The last morning of our stay, I went down for breakfast and was completely ignored by the staff. I got fed up after a few minutes and just grabbed whatever and left. Were usually the chillest people to deal with, we hate conflict and making waves because we know what its like to be on the other end of the confrontation but man, we have never had such a horrible hotel experience and weve stayed somewhere where the plaster ceiling caved in. If we had known that we would have to be our own cleaning crew we would have just used all the money we spent on our room on a portable air conditioner for our home and saved ourselves the trouble.
Positive: The room was dirty especially the bed and bathroom and the hallways going to the room. Plus outside by our cars bug flys everywhere cause of the trash cans and trash on ground. It wasnt worth --- dollars at all I took pics of everything a Negative: I complained but. Nobody helped or cared I don¿t recommend this place to anyone. W will never stay at a la Quinta again
I needed my rooms joined together, called days before when i made the reservation and ask for that and they said i would have that, checked in, my rooms were not joined.the whole hallway on the floor we were staying in smelled like weed, i had to leave because i have little kids.didn’t even get to stay the night. been calling to get a refund since monday morning, have yet to get a call back about the situation. unprofessional in my opinion.
Me and my coworker had a good stay here after a bad experience at another local hotel. The social distancing was way better here than the other one(I wont mention). We ended up leaving after they had groups of people every where in the lobby and just small parties etc. My company said they would cover the move to laquinta and it was worth it. When we are back in town next week, Im asking my company to put us all up here. Felt much safer at this hotel with their procedures they have. Thanks for keeping us safe
Traveling from out of state by car with my child, I decided to check into this hotel overnight to rest. The common areas of this hotel are remodeled nicely however the hotel rooms and especially the bathrooms need to be updated and thoroughly cleaned. The initial room I was given had rust stains in the tub. I also noticed random strands of hair on the floor and the counter sink. I went back to the front desk and was given the opportunity to look at 3 rooms. I selected the best one out of the three. This room was better than the first one but still not completely acceptable. The vent in the bathroom of this room had a thick dust build up, was located above the toilet and blowing particles onto the toilet. Before each use, I wiped the seat with hand sanitizer and then a wash cloth. The sofa chair in the room was stained. The desk chair needed to be replaced. There was no rust in the tub in this room, which is why I selected it. The other two rooms I looked at had rust stains in the tub like the first room. Thankfully our stay was only for one night. On a positive note, Most of the hotel staff I encountered were excellent! The hotel is located in a great area, near a variety of restaurants and across from the mall.
Stayed at this property on Oct 31, 2020. The hotel is in rough shape. First room assigned had a broken door handle. Second room, the shower was barely a trickle and the shower drain was clogged. The rear access door to the building was not locked. The hall was super noisy with people yelling at each other all night. When I checked out and told the front desk about the poor quality of my stay, she didn’t care at all. Communication with Wyndham Corporate went nowhere. Just emails with offers of points if I joined Wyndham Rewards. I would not stay at this property and will think long and hard about staying at Wyndham properties in the future.
This is a nice hotel conveniently located close to the airport, Great Northern Mall, and I-480. It has a nicely decorated lobby that is quite modern, even having a YV. The check in counter has a very nice black countertop, which I like. The carpet design looks good, and it’s easy to walk around the hotel because it’s just a single hallway on each floor. The elevators have enough room to put a couple suitcases in, which I like. The rooms are nice and clean, having two queen sized beds which I found to be quite comfortable. The bathrooms are clean, which I like. The hotel also provides a shuttle to the airport, which is very convenient.
Stay wasnt horrible, but not close to being worth almost 100 bucks a night. Pillows and bed were nice and soft. I guess here they are going over board with the rona, wouldnt bring extra towels or bedding to us either and wouldnt come to get trash or anything after almost a week of staying. Also, kept raising the price.. we tried to stay out last night and they charged us almost 100 bucks when we were paying 60 somethin and as soon as we looked online for another place near by, the same room was listed for 57 or 62 just like everywhere else and they refused to give us the price so we left. the hot tub was closed too which was why we booked it in the first place. Supposedly for rona, but I dont see how ppl in the same group couldnt safely use it and it would be nice if they clearly said that anywhere before paying. wasnt the cleanest in the room either. Breakfast was a paper bag with packaged muffins, fruit cup, juice box, and nutribar. Wish something somewhat fresh was available as I look forward to bagels when we stay. The lady at the desk was very nice and polite though, and it wasnt motel 6 or super 8 .lol
Our room was terrible!3rd time here, we will never return, it was good before this year! We got the deluxe suite this time, dont do that! Our headboard was mounted to the elevator shaft wall! Every time the elevator moved, we heard it.The room was missing a ceiling light, the door striker plate was missing, so the door rattled contantly, even the extra lock was loose and wouldnt have held anything. There were boxes of food in the hallway for 3 days. The room had unfinished electrical boxes, with drywall dust on the floor. Toothpaste on mirror, the only table in the room had the tv on it, we were given a half-roll of toilet paper, and 1 bottle of shampoo for a 2 night stay with 2 people. And there was no seal or anything in out door, so we heard every word everyone said in the hallway, and Im sure they could have heard us.My wife never felt safe in that room.
The floors needed swept, we had no bed clothes for the roll out couch, there was no coffee for the coffee maker. The pool and laundry area is under construction and was closed. On the plus side, the bed was comfortable. The lady at the front desk was busy but was helpful.
DO NOT BE FOOLED BY THE LOBBY! THE ROOMS ARE AWFUL!!Ill start with the positive: The LOBBY is nice. Staff were friendly. Breakfast was included (not good, but free). Perfect location with great shopping and near airport. The indoor pool was a plus on a 90º day.Now the downfall: The lobby is beautifully appointed but do not be fooled! It is VERY MISLEADING because that is where the nice ends! The rooms are musty and dirty, with old, stale, stained furnishings. The first room we checked into had stains on the bath towels, hairs on the bed sheets (under the comforter), the chair was unusable due to large nasty looking stains. The bathroom was gross, with moldy caulking and rust stains in the tub! I called the front desk to request a new room and the clerk was very accommodating, she brought the new room key up to us.The new room wasnt much better though. The chair was worse than the first, the room was also musty, and the tub/shower was atrocious! There were dust balls on the a/c unit as if it hadnt been wiped in months. We used tissues to even touch it.The money spent on remodeling the lobby would have been better spent on the guest rooms! I literally wanted to sleep in the lobby because I was so uncomfortable laying my head in such a nasty room! I didnt expect a 5-star experience for the $100 I spent, but Ive stayed in several other hotels in the area in the same price range and have always been pleased. This was the very first disappointing stay for us. From now on well stick to where we know and trust. Never again LaQuinta!
1 they put us in a shared room and didn’t tell us and then I asked them can they move us to another room and there’s paint everywhere and I have the pictures to show it then I go into another room the room smells like straight chemicals I couldn’t really even breath 12/17/2021
Room was dirty. The fitted sheet had hair on it, floor needed to be vacuumed, and there was even a tank top hanging next to the shower curtain from previous occupants. Pretty gross to find someone elses clothes in my shower.. Went to front desk which all the ladies were pretty nice but nothing was offered to me. I just requested for my room to be cleaned and was told there was no one there to clean at 7pm. So I asked for fresh sheets and swapped them myself. The room was pretty dingy everything needs a desperate overhaul. Would have given them one star but like a said the ladies were very kind up front.
It was a place to sleep, not worth the price we paid. You walk into a beautiful lobby and service desk. It gets you excited and happy that you chose this place, until you get to your room. The rooms were dingy, dirty and not taken care of. Our pull out couch had pee and other nasty stains all over it. The sheets that were previously used were still on it! The shower water pressure was low and the tub felt like it was going to cave in at any time. We took our girls to the pool and it was fun, but the chemicals were VERY strong. All of our eyes hurt for hours AFTER we had gotten out and showered. You cant relax in the hot tub because the jets send the water flying into your face and again, the chemicals were very strong. I think the staff wants to care, but they arent given the resources to help the customers, they arent getting paid enough or they really just dont care. A lot of the staff seems new so maybe they cant train and keep people. The breakfast was good. Everyone found something to eat and was happy. I should also mention that this place was fully booked and understaffed. However, it doesnt change the rooms appearance or their standards. We will not be coming back here.
Walls are paper thin. Adjacent rooms are disturbing. Lobby smelled like weed. Wont complain about that. But the area feels ghetto. So does the clientele. Wont stay here again and neither should you. Staff is friendly. But they cant control location or the clientele. So I wont hold it against them. But something like the weed smell might turn off most people.
It had a bed. The staff was wonderful but that’s where it ended, our room was covered in debris and rust in the tub. It was truthfully gross but the pillows were pretty great. The hotel also has slamming doors all hours of the night as well as the spirt of laquinta roaming the rooms.
I was torn about writing a review, but this hotel did disappoint me. Location is great, but cleanliness was definitely a problem. We rented a few rooms here for a sports team, and 2/4 of the rooms were not very clean. One had hair and stains in the bed. One had trash that hadn’t been emptied. The hotel was completely booked, so I know the staff was busy. Hallways and breakfast area were messy. Staff was as accommodating as they could be, but I felt they needed one more receptionist for the busy evenings.
Stayed at this LA Quinta and I have decided that I will never stay here or any other LA Quinta ever again. It was disgusting.I changed my room three times. I do not think they changed the beddings in either of the three rooms. I finally gave up.Bed was dirty and I am very sure that the bedding was used and was not changed for many days.I could not sleep whole night and mere thought of catching Covid or something kept me up all night.TV did not have remote.Coffee machine but no coffeeNo lotionNot even a pen to write somethingBreakfast and morning coffee was a joke.Shame to the owner and company that is running this.
I stayed at this La Quinta Inn location for three nights during my visit to Cleveland earlier this month. The lobby and public areas are nicely decorated, with a stylish, contemporary look. My room itself was comfortable, updated and clean too. I appreciated the complimentary breakfast, which had a plentiful selection, including fresh fruit, cereals, yogurt, fresh waffles, breads, eggs and some hot items as well. The staff at reception were friendly and efficient, and check-in was a breeze. Perhaps most of all, I really enjoyed the hotels location right next to one of the Cleveland areas largest indoors malls, the Great Northern, and lots of restaurants all less than a mile away.
Updates to lobby and first floor are beautiful... but that is where it ends. They had one person working the day we checked in, at 3:00 the line was out the door. They knew that they had a large amount of people coming as we booked using a room block. The rooms were gross. We were there two nights and no one cleaned our room and brought new towels. At 10:30 at night I had to call the front desk to ask for towels and toilet paper only to be told that I would need to come get them because the staff member was the only one there. on Saturday night there was a cult like group chanting and burning candles in the lobby in white robes. It was all just very weird and the person at the desk just laughed about it. Our entire group felt uncomfortable. Other members in our group had issues with their charges to their accounts, them giving away their room, filthy rooms, etc. The list just goes on and on. I would not recommend anyone to stay at this hotel.
Edit: i also want to add that our key card would not work so we had to keep pestering the nice lady who worked at the front desk to get into the pool, which wasnt even worth it bc the pool room was ICE COLD. we were told on the phone the hottub was open and it wasnt. management did nothing to accommodate us bc the main reason we booked the place was for the pool and we couldnt even get in the water. all around a bad experience. you can find better places for your money.
I would give it a half star if i could. It’s so clear that the hotel management has been changed. The room was absolutely dirty. Carpet was filthy , hair was all over the bathroom floors and sink. Toilet wasn’t clean at all I felt I was in a public bathroom. I wouldn’t come back to this hotel !
It’s a decent hotel. Could be cleaner and updated. The staff is awesome. We had a mini fridge and microwave. Due to Covid they don’t clean your room everyday and they are short staffed. The complimentary breakfast is a grab and go bag (muffin, unsweetened juice and a fruit). I was sad the hot tub was close due to Covid.Updated review:unfortunately our stay ended up turning for the worse. We had a toilet that overflowed from no where. We called the front desk as soon as we noticed and the guy said he was coming to plunge it and never came. See had a wet bathroom floor and carpet all night. They never came to clean our shower after we told them it was dirty the first day. We spoke to a manager and she said she would call us back in 10min. She never did. We was told that they were backed up with complaints.
Completely unorganized. Our air conditioning was broke, which would be understandable if it was the only problem, but we also had a leaky toilet, the common areas were not clean, and our room was not completely ready when we got there. Cleaning was minimal and it was obvious. With small kids, these inconveniences made our stay very difficult. With the price we paid, this is completely unacceptable. Stay at your own risk. If you are vacationing, I would advise looking elsewhere in the area as there are several lodging options.
Room was clean and so was the lobby and hallways. Only reason for four stars is because they are currently renovating and its rather loud in the hallways. Other than that, the staff are nice and this is a good hotel in walking distance of a nice big shopping mall and restaurants.
I was staying here for a few days and i was impressed! A good source of breakfast a pool with a bot rub and a workout room my room was awesome and Claudia did an awesome job! She is very nice and very understanding and she is very friendly and always had a smile on her face and talks to everyone. She always made sure my room was nice! Keep her around i herd from her supervisor she is the best one they have!
Arrived to hotel, and when we opened the door to our assigned room there was a barely clothed woman watching television in the room already. Awkwardly made eye contact with the poor woman after we scared the living daylight out of her. Immediately went back to the front desk and explained to the employee what had just happened. He seemed completely unfazed and unapologetic to the situation. However, assigned us a new room that luckily people were not in already. In the morning, we went down to the front desk where there was a large group of people and no staff to be found. On top of that, there was a huge water leak from the ceiling. You could stand under the water, and it would be sufficient enough to give you a full on shower. Water was just everywhere. There wasn’t a bucket or even a wet floor sign to be seen.Extremely disappointed in the hotel. Would not recommend.
At check in, the employee working the front desk was rude, and told us we had to wait 5 minutes for his night audit to be completed even though we had the room booked for the previous day but got there late due to a delayed flight. When I questioned why, thats when he just went ahead and checked us in. The rooms are super outdated. The A/C is super noisy and you can hear everything that goes on in the hallway. In fact, we heard a dog barking in the morning hours during our stay along with random structural noises. The renovation on the hotel was only done in the lobby. The bathroom is gross with rusty tub metal. We needed to stay an extra night but chose to check out of the hotel per our original reservation and went elsewhere. Only gave it two stars because there was a bed I could sleep on and at the end of the day, I’m grateful for that, but definitely not worth the price we paid for the hotel.
They do not change their sheets, and the rooms were filthy and smelled moldy. In our first room, we discovered hair and stains all over the sheets and beds, and one bed’s blanket had a gigantic obvious urine stain on it. We asked them to change the sheets, and they gave us a free upgraded room, however, as expected, those beds had hairs all over the sheets as well. At this point, all of these things made us very paranoid and uncomfortable during our stay. We ended up moving back into our first room and changing the sheets ourselves. So 2/2 of our rooms had dirty sheets. As for the cleanliness of the rooms, there was gunk on the floors of both the rooms and the hallways, and our second room smelled like mold. We almost considered moving to another hotel for the night, despite having already spent my money here. Looking back on it, I feel like it would have been more worth it to do so.
My family booked a suite but when we arrived we were told it had been trashed by a former guest a few days before. I was unsure why we had been allowed to book it a couple days before with it in such condition. They kindly moved us to two connecting rooms, but the connecting doors were stuck and we needed housekeeping to come fix them. Then, of the two AC units in one room, one was broken and the other made a really loud noise. The telephone in one room wouldn’t work either which meant I had to go up and down to the front desk repeatedly. Finally, the pool, which had a 10 person limit, was packed with at least 20 people in there, showing the hotel’s scant concern for their own policy or covid regulations. (Speaking of which, no staff members were enforcing the wearing of face masks by customers in the common areas despite the signs saying so.)I spoke to the owner, Paul, on the phone who cut me off after I had informed him of the issues, and he said I could find other accommodations if I weren’t happy, which seems a tad inhospitable when I was very understanding at first of the initial problems. Finally I was offered a full refund and thought that’d be the end of it.A few hours later, I was notified that Both the manager and owner want my family to leave since they gave a full refund. Mind you, this is at 9:30 at night in Cleveland, Ohio. Not the safest place to be at this hour, not to mention the huge inconvenience that would cause. I said I am not leaving — I’ve done nothing wrong — and if that meant charging for the room, so be it.I then called Wyndham headquarters to let them know of this owner’s reckless and rude behavior, and plan to follow up with a letter and further calls to the home office.Suffice to say, both the owner’s who-cares attitude and the problems as a whole are reason to never stay here or recommend it to anyone traveling through the Cleveland area.
The lobby was being renovated, so it was difficult to find the correct door to check in at in the dark. The room was mostly clean, but the toilet was a little dirty when we initially entered the room. The room was a good size, climate control easy to use, and there was a nice, large window. The television was new, but the system and remote seemed old. Reasonable price for the not horrible/not awesome experience.
Do not stay here if you’re looking for an updated and clean room to lay your head. Toilet overflowed, gnats, hair everywhere, dirt stained tubs, chair, sofa bed, thin mattress for the sofa bed, the sofa was torn. The microwave was clean, but had the wrong plate, so we couldn’t use it. The location is convenient, other than that it’s a no for me. I booked a reservation for five days/four nights (8/23/21-8/27/21). We left the next morning. Megan was very understanding. She waived the cancellation fee and discounted our stay. Drive 15 mins from La Quinta to Holiday Inn Express on Clemens in Westlake. I’ll be staying there from now on.
This was undoubtedly the worst hotel stay I have ever experienced. We were given two towels for three people upon checking in and unable to get another until we asked 4 times over the course of 24 hours because they were being washed. I was glad to know they wash the towels but unsure why this was a new thing that a guest might need an additional towel or two and why it took almost a full day. The hotel is located right on the highway, which did result in some noise..but fortunately the very outdated a/c unit was so much louder, we didn’t even notice. The rooms appeared suitable upon entry, however we eventually discovered sticky/mysterious stains on the carpet and were awoken to police officers and k-9’s making arrests down the hall one morning. We tried to be gracious throughout the stay as many hotels have struggled due to COVID-19 and potentially being understaffed, however after the third night of being miserable due to our new neighbors checking in at 2:45 AM with 4 adults and 4 very loud out of control children in the same room..we decided to check out a day early unsure of where we would stay the next night but knowing we just had to get out of that hotel. I will not be staying at a La Quinta in the future because of this experience.
Although this had been a reliable stop in the past, I dont think Ill be coming back here for the foreseeable future. The room just was not cleaned and prepared up to a reasonable standard. There was a toothbrush in the trash, a hard candy on the ground, no shampoo, and no remote control. When we called down to the desk about the remote, nothing happened. We called again an hour later and were informed that maintenance had already been notified. But we never got a remote, so we were only able to watch D2: The Mighty Ducks on the rooms TV.The room was clean otherwise, the breakfast was great, and the wifi was fast. So I guess not the worst but as a gold member and frequent customer I expected better.
Not impressed. Booked here because it would accommodate our family of 5. We also booked because of the pool and free breakfast. The pool was terrible...the chlorine was so bad that it made youre eyes burn and it was hard to breath. Everyone that was in there ended up coughing after a few minutes because of it. Pretty sure it ruined my swimsuit. The window in our adjoining room had so much air blowing in around it and the heater that the curtains were blowing. Breakfast was just OK. They kept running out of stuff or didnt have it out but setting in the back. Had it been cheaper I wouldve expected some of this. But that pool was a health hazard. My chest hurt for the rest of the evening after breathing in all the chemicals.
I don’t even know where to begin... from the outside things appear clean for the most part but changes quickly once you get into the rooms. Upon checking in we went to the room assigned to find the door to the hallway left open, we tried calling the front desk with no answer after multiple tries. We looked through the room and everything seemed as good as it was going to get. We went out to dinner and was accompanied by an assortment of crumbled cookies, crackers and puddles of water in the elevator (that we werent confident in its security to begin with). We go to dinner and stay out as long as possible so we don’t have to be in the room. Upon return (the snacks in the elevator still being present hours later) we are tired and preparing for an early flight. At that point we realized we had no towels to shower. I called the front desk another 3 times with no answer and had to go down myself to ask. The lady at the front desk was apologetic but couldn’t do anything and there was no manager on duty. She was going to send up a housekeeper with towels for us, after 20+ minutes of waiting (and no towels) I call back. She apologized again and followed up with the house keeper who said they ran out of towels and would be 30 minutes before they could have more. At this point we were just ready for bed, and told her not to worry about towels and hand towels we already had would need to do. My husband was first to shower and the tub didn’t drain, therefore I was not able to shower. The sink also had issues draining. When checking out and telling the manager on duty about all our struggles she was less that apologetic and rather rude. Her excuse was the hotel was busy (which it was to some extent, but nothing crazy). That was reason for nobody to answer he phone at front desk after 6 or more calls at different times, no towels, and the door being left open. She wasn’t sorry, and acted as if it were the norm. We didn’t even think about touching the pool out of fear. Definitely wouldn’t not recommend if your standards are a clean hotel, decent service, and a functional room.
Staff were great. Mgmt decisions/the room? Not so much. I’d give it three or four stars for this price but lighting was AWFUL. Not warm and inviting like you’d expect for a place to rest. A big crack between the doorframe and door let in the light and sounds of people outside. Every lamp fixture had the same piercing blue-white color—known to disrupt human sleep. Staff couldn’t find incandescent or otherwise warm-color bulbs to swap out. I recommend staying away from this place until they address the lighting.
The front desk staff was nice, thats where my stay ended. We reserved a room with 2 doubles and a sleeper sofa. I opened the sleeper sofa and found dirty clothes from previous people, no sheets or pillow case to use for sleeper sofa. The room was by the ice machine, it is in the hall, and it sounded like people getting ice every 15 minutes. Of course there could have been people getting ice, because the hall was loud and busy at 11pm. We had to get up early to get my daughter to the airport at 3am, didnt get any sleep. We called the front desk to complain about the noise, no real help. Spoke to the front desk about the clothes in the sleeper sofa, they brought up gloves and a trash bag for me to clean up. All in all, it was a terrible place to stay, I will not stay at this La Quinta again, and maybe not another anywhere else. When I checked out, the front desk said the manager doesnt come in until Monday, and the manager would call me. I have not received a call regarding my stay, that is why I am writing this review. Dont promise something then dont deliver.
Terrible stay, very disappointed. Loud music in other room, kids running around in the halls all day. Breakfast was not good. Swimming pool was a danger zone, kids diving in hitting other kids. Little supervision from patents. Next time I will stay at the Hampton Inn down the street. Also side door does not lock, many suspicious people outside.
This was one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed at. It was dirty in the lobby and the room. It smelled like a wet dog so bad that I could not sleep. The shuttle says it is 24 hours but when we showed up at 10:30pm with our child and called for the shuttle, the hotel said it stops at 10pm. They were not concerned at all with how I would get to their hotel. The remote batteries were taped in and got sticky all over my hand. The waffles at breakfast were sour tasting. Overall a horrible experience. Please dont stay here if you care about cleanliness.
Probably one of the worst hotel experiences Ive had. It was new years eve, and we had to sign something about no noise after 10 pm. That didnt stop the folks having a party in the hallway outside our room, complete with a speaker/boombox. Also, the room was in no way a king suite. Weve stayed at a lot of LQ Inn and Suites, and this was just one medium size room. The sink wasnt even in the bathroom. Two stars because staff was nice, although ineffective.
Stayed 3 nights over the Christmas holiday. First night was very kid noisy well into 2 AM. Remaining two nights were much less noisy. Hotel is under renovation with the entrance through the back door as the lobby was being renovated. Room was good but the bathroom tub needs to be, well, renovated. All the staff was great. They have a lot to deal with being relocated to the back door during renovation.
Just terrible!!! The beds where not comfortable.. I made reservations over the phone and asked for an extra mattress for my 5 year old. Over the phone I was told it was free of charge. When I got there ... The manager wanted an extra 20 dollars for the blow up mattress... I had told her that I was told it was free of charge. She seen that on the computer that I had spoke to the person who did my reservation for me over the phone.. the manager told me that she is going to charge that person that made the reservation for me that 20 dollars out of her pay.. I was literally shocked!!! How can you share that with a customer that your going to dock the employee that 20 dollars. I told that manager please not to do that and she didnt say anything. I was ready to back out, the manager told me if you go some where else that you would pay an extra 100 dollars anywhere else. I didnt want to drive any where else. I was from out of town. Anywhere we stayed the night and the mattresses where terrible!!! The blow up mattress was dirty, they must have had dogs sleeping on it... There breakfast was okay. The maintenance man was very very polite. (Asian man) not to stereotype... He was very kind to my family and I. God bless you. I will not be staying there again. I would pay the extra for comfort.
Worst experience ever, front lobby looks nice. That’s where is ends though, our first room smelled, was missing chairs, had no hand soap and was dirty. I asked for another room and was told that they only had one additional room. The second room had no soap and smelled and was disgusting as well. It was so bad, I couldn’t even spend the night and I had to check out . Now I’m fighting to get my money back. Horrible hotel, horrible staff I expected more from a property affiliated with the Wyndham.
This was the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. The room was disgusting, and the staff did not even attempt to clean our room. They did not vacuum, did a horrible job attempting to make the bed, left the pillows thrown on the bed, left the shower curtain broken and laying on the ground of the bathroom, didn’t clean black spots all over the mirror, and left trash around the room. My family had other rooms here and each had their own terrible experience. My entire family was mortified. We will never stay here or any of these chains again. The management of this establishment should be mortified.
I am a fan of most LA Quinta Inns. However, this one is really tired. Beat really. The hallways are worn out. Our room was just sad. Not dirty beat. The morning staff didnt wear a mask to prepare breakfast nor did she at the desk as I checked out. This property also had very big oversights. The side door did not latch allowing anyone in. The back guest door didnt open with a key. All parking is in the rear and the portico and entrance face the other side. Bizarre. Choose another location is my advice.
When I checked in everything was good. They charged me a 50.00 deposit and told me it would be refund 2 days after check out. Here it is 3 weeks after my stay and they still havent refunded my deposit. They just keep giving me a run around. Please beware of this problem.
Staff is nice at front desk, very welcoming. Room was clean. Traveling with a pet, so Im out in the grass a good bit and noticed feces left by owners (there were not bags provided at the cleanup station). Housekeeping seemed to let a lot of the doors slam shut which was annoying and disruptive to my morning. Area is nice with restaurants and the mall right across the street.
Horrible! We asked for a no pet room however it was evident that pets were previously in our room. They were in the middle of remodeling however other places are able to do so and still keep their hallways clean. It looked like they slapped paint on the wall and that was the remodel.
We have stayed in this hotel several times when wed come to Cleveland. We were so surprised that our room wasnt cleaned before we came in. The bedding wasnt clean...hairs on the sheets. Gross!!The management sent a staff member to change the sheets. So, we stayed. The next couple days, the towels werent there. The floor hadnt been vacuumed. The tip was accepted that we left for the service, but the work wasnt done. We will never go back to this La Quinta. The management just didnt care. Bad response to our requests. Very disappointing!!!
The staff was very accommodating with my questions and concerns! This hotel is absolutely beautiful and I cant and wont complain! My Granddaughter, myself, and two daughters enjoyed the hot tub, and pool, very relaxing! The rooms are impeccable! Will always stay here when I come this way! Matter of fact Im coming just for the fun of it really soon just to get away and relax!
Worst stay EVER. I was placed on the first floor by the pool, ice maker and housekeeping area. Every night kids were at the pool screaming until 11 pm even though the pool closes as 10 pm, and only left when I called the front desk which was just down the hall. Each morning at 5;30 am I was woken by kitchen staff filling 5-6 pitchers with ice. I asked to change rooms and they had none available. Asked to have them to go another ice machine and was assured that would happen, but it never happened. I also asked for earplugs and was told I could go to the store and buy them myself. Each morning I also had to dodge the cleaning carts that lined the hallway when trying to go to breakfast, and listen to the supervisor yelling that they had 9 workers and 90 rooms to clean so they better hurry up. The last night there they started cleaning the carpet at 9:20 pm. When asked them to stop they did, but at 10:40 pm two men (one was the carpet cleaner) were in the hall banging garbage carts and laughing and goofing around. When I asked them to stop one yelled at me and told me to go back in my room and if I didnt like it ask to change rooms. I explained about the late nights and early wake ups and that this was the first night the pool was quiet and he kept yelling. Manager was not helpful and comped me $12.50 a day for the inconvenience. NEVER stay here unless you want rude service!!! They also allowed people to smoke at the front entrance where there are clearly no smoking signs. I had to keep my window open because the room was muggy from the pool and the air kept shutting off which meant smelling smoke all day long. So disappointed!!!
February 28th, 2019Do not stay at this hotel. My daughter wanted to surprise me for my birthday and booked a weekend at this hotel through Groupon. It sounded great having an indoor pool, spa area and breakfast. I was very disappointed. The hotel room was disgustingly dirty. Bathtub was black and had pubic hair in it. The corner floor almost made me gag. The wooden area on the bottom where fridge sits was disgusting. Rug had something sticky and slimy stuck to it. The chair had so much dust and pet hair that I actually took a picture of it to show to the front desk. The toilet paper is so thin and cheap I had to have my daughter go grab our own toilet paper and cleaning supplies. Then the house cleaning people decided to just open the door without knocking or saying house keeping and I was using the bathroom! The breakfast food is not great either. I informed the lady at the front desk of all this when I checked out and she gave me the email and number of the manager and said she would be calling me the next day. She never did. So today I called the the hotel office. I called numerous times and it kept giving me a busy signal. So I called the manager directly. She was rude, interrupted me and told me to call the the hotel office phone which she was standing next to since I had called her personal cell she said. Why is your number on the business card then? But I said ok and called the same first number once again. Three times. It still rang busy. They obviously dont care at all about how to run their business correctly or to have manners and good customer service. Please Do Not waste your time booking with this place. I dont care if its free. Never again.
Where to even begin with this place. Worst hotel Ive ever been too, I dont know how anyone could score it above 1 star. I thought I could trust the laquinta name... wrong. I will never return to any of their hotels. The cleaning was awful, how is a room remodeled with a dirty old tub amd nasty warped 20 year old furniture and stained carpet? Thats called painting, not remodeling . TV was old and outdated, maybe the first flat screen ever made. Hotel doesnt have a cool welcoming feel in the lobby, its hot and stagnant. Probably 84 degrees in the lobby. Speaking of high temps , the pool room has zero ventaliation or air conditioning . Its like a hot jungle, was told doors cant be opened. So unless you are swimming its pure hell in the pool room. How embarrassing is it that the gm was unavailable, it seemed like she was having a problem with the local police . When we did finally talk to her she was short, and rude and didnt seem to be able to help in anyway. The cleaning crew doesnt speak English so good luck asking them for help or anything . Hallways were dirty, stair walls, dirty. Any one who comes back to this place has incredibly low standards. You would be better off on a budget hotel. It wasnt worth 100 $ plus. I wouldnt stay there for free again let alone pay for that awful experience. Even the beds are beat up and old. You would think the least they could offer is a decent bed.

2022-06-18Days ago on GoogleThe rooms appear clean at first, but upon closer inspection, the bedding was not cleaned or sanitized. There were crumbs under the covers and pieces of human body hair. The TV remote was down inside the bed. My colleague across the hall had orange stains on her bed. When were checking in another guest came down to complain about her room being dirty, and this was her second room they gave her. She made the desk clerk go up to her room to show him how dirty her bed was. This was a room given by airport for cancelled flight. Many passengers stayed here, and all were on 3 rd floor. The hotel said they have a set of rooms that the airline typically uses. I think these rooms are neglected. The shuttle was not available after 3:30 pm even though the airport gave us the number to call. It was around 7:00 pm. Upon arrival no clerk was even at desk for 10 minutes, as he was only one, and he was up with other unsatisfied guest. We aked if there was water, and they had none available, or even to buy. It was upper 80 degrees and very humid. Any hotel I have ever stayed at has complimentary water Overall, I was not impressed and left feeling overtired and icky. I slept on duvet all night, as there was no offer to give us clean sheets. I am going to call airline, and recommend they use a different hotel, if they even care. Someone should call the health department.

2022-03-13We’ve been staying here while visiting my father in the hospital for a few weeks now, and I can’t speak more kindly of the staff working at this hotel. Everyone has been extremely attentive & kind during this hard time for our family and we can’t thank you all enough.Tammy at the front desk is truly the sweetest and I’m so happy to have met her, Thank you for taking such good care of us and making sure there’s always a fresh pot of coffee for my grandfather waiting for when we get back :)Affordable, Rooms are clean, beds are comfortable and it’s close to everything you would need. Highly recommend staying hereThanks again!

2022-04-30My daughter and I are currently staying at La Quinta for a few days. Our room is clean, coffemaker in room, and the beds are comfortable. A nice touch is the electronics charger/clock on the night stand making it easily accessible from the beds. I cant say enough about the staff running the front desk, Dawn and Tammy. They were so friendly and personable. They talked and joked with us for about 15 minutes, putting us at ease and making us feel welcome. Overall, they were the best selling point for the motel!

2022-07-05We stayed here with our 2 dogs for a week at the beginning of June while our floors were being refinished at our home. Check in on Sunday night went smooth. Unfortunately the smoke detector in our room started to go off every 30 seconds starting at 7 am (thankful it wasn’t at 2am). There was nobody to fix it. They tried changing the battery to no avail so they switched our room. There were plenty of areas on the hotel grounds to walk the dogs and the hotel staff were all friendly and accommodating to us and our dogs. Our room was clean and comfortable; the 2nd room had the more comfortable mattress. If you travel with dogs, we would recommend this hotel. They could use more staff though to help their hard working staff. There isn’t enough of them to go around!

2022-01-17My husband and I stayed at the La Quinta in North Olmsted for about 9 days while visiting family for Christmas. The room was clean and very comfortable. There was a slight language barrier with the staff, but being polite goes a long way. We had no issues. I love that they allowed our two large well-behaved dogs to stay for free, although the waste bin for dog poop was full and overflowing the entire time we were there. The hotel itself was pretty clean and it’s beside the mall and close to several restaurants. The breakfast was lacking, but there was coffee! Overall we enjoyed our visit and would stay here again.

2022-07-08Pros:The rooms were clean when we arrived. Bed, pillows, and blankets were comfortable. Had a mini fridge, microwave, and tv as well as wifi. The hotel looks nice and is in a great location for freeway access. The pool was small but appeared clean and comfortable to swim in.Cons:Our room was never cleaned or serviced whatsoever while we were there even when we had made requests. My son had an accident on the sheets and when I called the desk for a fresh set the attendant said they had a ton of people to check in and were really busy. At 10pm? Sure. Never got the sheets. Had to go downstairs to get towels and trash bags. The breakfast could be better. Salty eggs, confusing waffle maker, broken juice machine, bruised apples, bagels and yogurt.Employees smoke directly outside in front of the door. Eating and playing on their phones in the lobby while we waited on requested items we never received. The price we paid was a bit much for the lackluster service. Especially considering we were the ones having to do the cleaning and fetching of supplies.

2022-06-28Breakfast was literally just bread. You could have toast, a bagel, or make your own waffles. No eggs/breakfast meat (even though they turned on the chafing dish where it should have been), no cereal/fruit, not even the usual yogurt/hardboiled eggs in the fridge. Severely disappointed. The rooms were clean, at least, if very small. However, the mattresses (both of the ones in my room, which I shared with a co-worker) were broken, to the point of being slanted. I was constantly waking up, having slid to the edge of the bed, about to fall off.As for location; the hotel is pretty out of the way. Ten+ minutes away from town and decent restaurants.Overall, displeased enough to leave a review.

2022-03-17The King suite is a sizable room with a couch that has a pull out bed. There is a wall-mounted TV that pulls out for convenient viewing from the bed. Coffee maker and microwave work fine, mini fridge works as well. I had fun with my family here, we didnt go in the pool, but it was definitely open and working - no hot tub for COVID reasons. There was actual hot breakfast with make your own waffle irons and eggs, bagels and cereal, as advertised. 2 very minor complaints that take it down to a 4 of 5 - 1) the shower didnt get as hot as Id like, but enough to wash comfortably 2) only 1 if 2 heating A/C units was working so the other worked overtime to compensate, and it got chilly before turning on to warm up the room. Bed and pillows were soft, staff were friendly. Almost forgot, the shuttle service doesnt run on Sunday when I departed, but I got an Uber for $16. Overall a good trip, thanks for pretty much living up to expectations!

2022-06-08The hotel was perfect. Updated. The pool area was nice, except for the hot tub has been out of service for WEEKS...I rented this room when I came into town to see my new grand babies (twins) for the first time. We were up and down all night with twins. And the young man that worked the front desk at night bummed at least 4-5 cigarette from me during the night. It was very annoying. Breakfast was ok, but the coffee was HORRIBLE. I put 8 creamers in it and it never lightened up. Eggs were very salty, but I love the waffles.

2022-06-29This hotel looks nice from the outside and is in a great location but my stay last weekend will be the last. Lobby restroom out of order for both days of our stay, yet the *employee bathroom* was off-limits. Breakfast very underwhelming and missing several items. Morning manager complaining to other staff very audibly, sets a bad tone for a guest that just wants to relax and eat in peace. Management needs to step in and save this sinking ship. Good luck.
