Came out on a date with my wife,. Had a great time, the food was excellent.. my wife has an egg allergy and gao a taco salad 🥗. it looked like it had egg all over the top of it. the manager came out and explained that is was cheese and not egg. Customer service was top notch, even though they were super busy!
Hands down best restaurant in town the food is always amazing. But the hospitality is out of this world. We love how the staff always feel like family. Noel, nora, tavo, and Jose go out of there way every time to make us feel so welcome.

What a wonderful experience! Food was delicious and service was very fast in spite of the fact the business was very busy. Staff are professional but so very friendly. Clean and decorated with beautiful items. Oh, and the portions are very generous. Great food for a small cost. A great and fun lunchtime!

Came in with my son’s today for lunch. We were seated quickly and our server was absolutely amazing! He kept our drinks full the food came as ordered and was perfect. It seems like everywhere I go anymore is subpar at best. It was very refreshing to have fantastic service!!! Thank you.

Great Mexican restaurant. Try the Margaritas and the queso cheese dip. Leave very satisfied. Will definitely be returning. Is is easy to get to. Just outside of Lima past the Walmart. As a college student I would often come here. I believe it has gotten better with age. Visiting again 8years later was a treat.
This location has the best refried beans of all of the La Charreada locations, in my opinion of course. I would never think that I would be so eager to eat beans. HOWEVER these are so smokey and perfect! Service is speedy and guests are well taken care of.

Amazing food for a very reasonable price! Food was very fresh and very delicious! (You can take my words for it because I lived in California for 6 years, and my friends made me homemade Mexican food all the time). Service was also great! The place had good drinks, good salsa, and the bar tender I had was a sweet heart. As food the food I got chicken enchiladas which where not too bad but they could use some seasoning. I will be returning at least for drinks again.

Some of the worst Tex-Mex Ive had in my entire life. It is difficult to overstate how bland and honestly gross this food was. Its not often that I go so far as to say that about food. If youre from out of town, Id stay as far away as possible.

The food is awesome there! We have yet to have something that was not delicious! The people there are friendly and very attentive. The owners are nice as well. It has a nice feel to it on the inside. You can also eat outside on a patio. There is a banquet room as well. You get chips and salsa served as soon as you get there. Prices are decent. All the locals will tell you that this is a place that you have to eat at, while in Lima, OH.
The service was horrible and the waitress forgot we ordered. Out of 12 people 4 got their food then 2 them 3. By the time the others got their food everyone was done. I never got my drinkOr food so I cancelled my order.

Most excellent food, especially considering they are basically asit-down, fast food restaurant. The staff are also always very friendly and helpful! I am a person who worked most of my adult life working in food service as a hostess, waitress, manager, and cook, and I am very well versed in everything restaurant, so a 5 star rating from me is definitely earned!

Excellent service! Food is great no matter what you order dine in or carryout. Online service is great usually 10 minute turn around. Large meal portions. Lots of variety in the menu to choose from.
Usually I would rare this place five stars but today must notve been the greatest day to stop by. Our waiter literally outwaited his tip, having to wait thirty minutes just for an order. However, the food was amazing and the drinks were nicely made. Great place but the service has downgraded since the last time i came.

My favorite restaurant in Lima! Ive been here over a dozen times and have never had a bad meal or been overcharged. Great service! Kitchen well staffed and gets orders turned around quickly. Fantastic service!
The place is really nice and the food is really good! The people and servers are super nice too. Food comes out in about 15 min or less depending on what u order and how big. The only complaint on why it wasnt 5 starts is bc the food was really mushy.
Always a great meal here. We would go/order from here very often for work and no matter how large our party size they would make everything in a timely manner and everything would be correct.I love ordering their cheese dip for the chips because they always bring it out in a large bowl so it is perfect for sharing.They have many lunch special and a lot of twists in Mexican favorites like the chorizzo burger.I would highly recommend this place!
OMG the food is amazingly great!! First time there n the portions size of food is worth the money!! Its really not that expensive to eat there. They have luñch menus too. N the fried ice cream is a way to end a meal. I highly recommend this restaurant n the service is on tact too.

We lived here in lima and moved away and when we go to a mexican restaurant some where else we always compare it to La Charreada and they never match up. So when we come back to lima for a visit it is done of the first restaurant we go to
Its always good...dining in or doordashed. Couldve used refills much more frequently...but the place was fairly busy.
Ive frequented La Charreada for years. The salsa they brought out was thicker than normal, and had a strange taste. We sent it back. They brought bowls of salsa out instead of the carafe they typically place it in, claiming it was made fresh. It did taste better, but then, I was mixing it with the cheese dip by this point, so of course it tastes better. Then they bring the food out. The order was two of the dinners for two. One was piled high with meat and vegetables. The other, half the size, and very skimpy on the meat. We pointed this put to the server. He responded by shrugging. We spoke to the manager, got 13 dollars taken off the bill. I really appreciate that. Unfortunately, everyone that ate the salsa that they brought back out has been sick, for days. The sickness has been proportionate, those that ate least of the salsa were mildly under the weather for a day.
Usually good. Ordered lunch fajitas apparently got dinner portion. Asked why bill was so much since I ordered lunch proceeded to tell me that I knew it was wrong size and I should have said something. How the hell am I supposed to know the portion size if I have never ate fajita lunch there before today.

Food wasnt bad but the server was horrible. Ordered a burrito that said it came with beef and he told me he was gonna do steak because I would like it left before I could tell him Id find something else because I dont like steak. Then I wanted fried cheesecake and he tried to get me to try some sort of cake. Told him 3 times I wanted caramel because it was a choice and still got chocolate on it. Very disappointed
This was my second time coming to this place and it has been amazing! 1st time came with my Girlfriend for Valentines day and we both loved it we brought my parents here! Great customer service! Staff is awesome and can recommend great menu items! Very clean and the food is awesome and BIG servings!!! Favorite restaurant in Lima!

Very enjoyable place with good food.Generally typical Tex Mex menu, and the food is quite decently done. While there are options that can be made vegan, they are not exactly inspired. The veggie fajitas is one example, it is mainly onions with some squash, mushrooms and green peppers pretty well hidden in the onions. It is tasty, but just not anything special. The Salsa is the high note for me. It is clearly fresh and the chips are very good as well. Service is friendly and prompt every time.
First here from out of town. Fast friendly service there salsa so so good came out hot fresh fast overall ok place to stop by have a quick bite too eat at.

I tend to go there multiple times in a week. Food is served the way I expect. They are quick to serve. A speedy lunch you can find here. Love dinner. Sometimes it is hard to choose from so many yummy dishes. I have my faves though. Happy eating!

There are a few other Mexican restaurants in the area but this one is the best. They have a wide variety menu and their margaritas are excellent! The meals are relatively inexpensive so it makes for a great place to take the family.

Best Mexican food around. I pretty much judge all other mexican restaurants compared to this one.I prefer the Harding Hwy location since the owners work this location personally most of the time. The chips and salsa is so good I usually have leftovers of my main course lol.Also try the charro beans. Ive been known to get an order of this awesomeness to go when heading home from work.
Great place has indoor and outdoor tables where u can eat comfortable and awesome food. The only thing in my opinion is for the menu to have pictures of the type of plates they have like more info it was little confusing but other than that great food great staff. I recommend it to everyone and will come back.

La cherreada provides a delicious Mexican cuisine that is consistently good. They have a large menu with a variety of entrees to choose from. Food arrives hot and fast. Servers are polite and attentive.
It was my first time eating at LA charreada Mexican Restaraunt and I have to say that it was a great experience. The staff were all friendly and the food was delicious. I would recommend this restaraunt. If you havent tried them, get there soon!

My boyfriend and me have came here 2 different times. Both times have been some of the best mexican experiences I have every had. I had one of their fajitas both times and the seasoning was delicious both times. Also the people who work here are extremely friendly and are very helpful. If you are unsure of what to get they will help you order, and all you have to do it ask! I will definitely be coming here again in the future, and I would recommend anyone who likes mexican food to come here.

I true the Fajitas Ahomadoras for the 1st time. Chicken, steak, bacon, peppers, mushrooms with abbq sauce.Or ArrozCon Pollo, add pineapple. You can never do wrong.

Went to La Charreada for the first time for dinner.Was seated near a screaming table of rude drunks.It was so loud that I could not hear my husband speak from across the table! It was nosier then some wedding receptions Ive been too! Asked them to keep it down and was totally ignored so had to ask wait staff to speak to them.The atmosphere stinks.The food was bland and overpriced with small portions.Was not impressed in the least and do not plan to go back.I have never been in such a rude and noisy restaurant.Lima is one rude town!

The food was good , service was ok , the reason I give 4 stars is because when the waiter brought our food , he didnt bring my daughters food ( plain cheeseburger) it took 10 more minutes When I ask he said it was still cooking , a cheeseburger doesnt take 30 min to cook

2022-06-01Traveling through Ohio, I must say this was a pleasant find. The food was quite good, service pleasant and fast enough. I might have liked a little more alcohol in the margarita, but when served by the pitcher for a large party, what do you expect? Anyway, as of mid-May 22 it remains affordable too.We will definitely stop back next year when passing through again. Hope it stays as good.

Very dissapointing.Accompanying dishes rice, beans, chips, etc., were ok but...I wont be going back.Sorry La Charreada, Honest opinion. Was truly hoping for better.Now I understand why the parking lot was empty when I got there and it wasnt because it was an hour before closing on a Friday night.

2022-06-281st time at this location as we usually dine at the location on Cable Rd - it seems like you get more to eat at the Harding Hwy location and the food was hot - only thing Id change is the lighting needs to be brighter - had to use my phone to see the menu ! Id still come back to eat here - just make it brighter !!

2019-09-18The food was good, but I had to downgrade the score. The waiters must have had a bad hair day, because they were rude. They stood at the bar and talked amongst themselves and never came back to check on us. Therefore, we did not leave a tip. Fortunately, one of the managers, Taboe came over to the table and talked to us. We told him about the problem and he apologized. Thats the only reason I decided to make a post.
