Not well managed, one lane open for checkout with a very long line. Maybe they should stop focusing on self checkout and focus on customer service. This is always an issue, will be taking my business elsewhere.
Moving more & more toward self checkout, self scan, etc. Took several parking spots near the front door & used it for some kind of curbside pickup. No one is ever parked there when I visit. I pay full price for my groceries, therefore I expect an employee to ring up my items.....not me. And to top it off, just as you get used to where things are, they rearrange the entire store. Starbucks is ridiculous, and takes up needed space, as I can purchase a 20 oz. mug of black coffee across the street at Speedway for 99 cents. I do not have any problem with the employees, as they have been very helpful over the years and some go out of their way to do so.
Terrible, hate the remodel. Need more checkouts with cashiers and baggers and less self checkouts. I dont pay your prices so i can check myself out and bag my own items. Customer service is much needed. Waited over 30 minutes in line for checkout and had people budding in line because your store is set up for people to do that and not realize that they are in line incorrectly.
Go here often to get small things, and I recently bought a container of ice cream. ... I got home and realized it was cracked open on the top, and i decided to call the store. Someone named Josh answered and said i could come in and get a replacement, and apologized for inconvenience. I only live a minute away so I went back and the customer service lady was very understanding. All and said very kind and friendly staff. Thanks guys! 😁👍
Always have the most pleasant experience here. Must be a great manager, a true friend to our community. For some reason I actually enjoy shopping again. Thank you for keeping everything so clean, unlike your competitor east of you guys on Rte 36.
We are still currently in the middle of a pandemic that we are losing control of. I would say close to every 3rd customer I passed had no mask on. There was no enforcement of masks at the entrance to the store. The employee at the entrance did not enforce the state-wide mask mandate in public places. Very disappointed in the selfishness witnessed at this Kroger.
I’m able to find what I need from your store, people are friendly and store is clean. I do however find your fat round little cartoon people graphics that are prominently displayed in the store entrance as well as online to be offensive, belittling and childish. Please come up with something a little more respectful. Its a real turn off!
Sales can be great and I like the coupons I get in the mail and the Free Friday Download. Also, this is the closest large grocery store to my house so I frequent it in a pinch, but prefer other stores for everyday prices and convenience of shopping from home and just picking up my weekly groceries.
This place is absolutely sorry; however, they are not sorry for it! Never do they have anything in stock, they never want to help you out, but when they do, it takes forever. The produce department especially is gross, the greens are wilted and smell like mildew and the fruit isn’t even edible more than half the time. Definitely drive the few extra miles to Troy and do not go to this Kroger!
Still keep the store very clean but do not have free mask any more. I do miss having the free mask as you enter the store.
I feel this store is just going downhill!!! There are hardly ever any check out lanes open!!!! The enployees are very rude!!! Nothing ever seems to be stocked!!! The buggies die half way through shopping and no one wants to help you and when they do you wish you wouldnt have even asked. The pharmacy is ridiculous, waiting times are long and I have went to pick scripts up and they werent even filled??? If it wasnt for convenience i would go elsewhere
I like the remodel, I dont like that they skipped removing the old dirty ceiling tiles and did not remodel the public bathrooms. Both omissons really bring the remodel job down. I wish, like Troy, OH, they would have torn down the old building and built a newer, bigger store with more selection. Meh...
A good Kroger store. Merchandised well. Two concerns today. One being the fresh fish section. A fishy smell and I mean a stronger than normal. My thought bad product in the case. Today must of been a bad day for employees. No smiles or plesant attitudes. Sad that people dont appreciate there jobs. Attitudes are set from the top down. It just isnt this particular store for there other stores with same problems/attitude. Oh well I am just another customer with an opinion.
Used Drive-thru at Pharmacy, which was moving slower than usual. Customer Service was great. 💯👏🥰

This grocery store location is very clean with large isles to comfortably shop. The staff us friendly and helpful. I love their wine selection too.
Their online hours stated they open at 5am. Had allergy attack, went to the store for meds, and they weren’t open. They failed to update to proper store hours.
Started shopping with kroger to save money. I love using my kroger card and digital coupons but lately all I get is bad experiences with kroger, especially the one in Piqua. Usually get rude cashiers, they either hate their life or their job or both. I cant tell, but I do know half of them shouldnt be in a customer service business. On top of that you would at least think that they would have that the decency to not only update their hours online but on their phone line when you call the store. If you arent open 24/7 then dont advertise that you are. Bad customer service and word of mouth will kill a business, its only a matter of time.

I went to buy kings island tickets. They didnt mention to me that babies got in for free and sold me a 3 and up ticket for him. So now I spent an extra $40 dollars for no reason, and they wont refund my money. The only reason I found out was because the ticket says 3 and up. Horrible service if they cant do the job then they dont need to work there.
Pharmacys policy of assigning times is inconvenient and absurd..If some one is given a antibiotic script why would your policy make the person wait for their medication? Signed Disgruntled Customers.
Kroger is my go to grocery store, they have great prices on their food and other merchandise. Not to mention when you shop kroger you get fuel points that make your fuel purchase cheaper as well. Last but not least you also have a clinic for minor health issues and a pharmacy to aid you in your healing process with any pharmaceuticals you need.
They always have stuff on sale. Have to keep your eyes open for where they put clearance items. It changes from time to time. It is one of my favorite places to shop for groceries.
This store constantly has empty shelves and they never restock them! Same products are never refilled even though I stop in three or four times a week. Empty shelves ! I noticed this got bad about a year ago. Never see this problem in Troy or other Kroger stores in the area.

I just watched/heard an elderly man ask an employee (the one that collects carts/bagger) if she would help him into the store. He was on one of the stores scooters and it died going inside. I’m assuming she refused because she walked away from him and by the time I put my cart away I saw him pushing the scooter inside by himself. This really, really upset me.
Gas prices always higher at this Kroger Location usually .20 a gallon higher so points dont matter.Other Kroger locations offer a .03 discount for being a Kroger customer with out using any points.No discount at this location.
I honestly cannot understand why they let people with a full cart of groceries go through the self service checkout. Several people held up the line while folks having only one item had to wait forever. This Kroger is going downhill bad
Stop changing things around, who needs a Starbucks Coffee shop? nobody, cant find anything , do not need an extra large flower shop either, this all should have been added when the store was built.
Didnt have any traditional Kroger bacon, I needed 24 got 1 and no craft American cheese 72 slices package and I needed 2. I wasnt a happy camper I had a coupon for 10% off
Horrible I spent a hour waiting on my online order to find out that they didn’t pick it after being told several times that it was ready and was even told that they was going to pick it right away after the hour of waiting they came out and told me that they cancelled my order and I should try again tomorrow
I love my Kroger the people our so nice their and my children can be a handful and they all treated them with kindness and respect.
Need to fire the stock clerk manager because they clearly dont know how to order the correct amount of things as its always bare.
Front end was very nice but wanted lactose free with calcium waited for ten mins and no help so had to go to Walmart mart to get it
Pharmacy is bad they dont ever know your phone number no matter how many times you correct them and always have problems with insurance not being approved when I try to get medicine and the clinic is bad they charged me for seeing the doctor but I canceled the appointment that and they say they cant get a hold of my insurance company so I have to pay out of pocket

Theyre remodeling at present sot hat means things are misplaced and difficult to find, but when its all finished it should look great.

2022-03-01I cant find what I need .The shelves are not fully stocked. . I noticed the price of the food went up . many times there are no carts yet I saw an employee standing in the parking lot doing nothing but looking at her phone. She must get paid to play on her phone .while A few other customers and I had to go outside and grab our own carts.it must be nice for the lady in the yellow vest to get paid to stare at her phone while the customers bring in their own carts. I dont write reviews often but I thought someone should know that somebody is getting paid to play on their phone while the customers go back outside to fetch their own carts. This place has went downhill the past few months thats for sure.

2022-06-18I recommend anyone if they need a birthday cake Kroger makes really nice cakes . The lady in bakery is A very nice person. She did a nice job on both of my sons birthday cakes. I give the Kroger bakery five stars for great customer service .

2022-07-02A nice family was playing music in the parking lot not to loud not bothering anybody at all and the store called the piqua police due to them asking for donations. The police then interrogated the father for no reason at all!!Last time I checked the piqua police have way more important things to handle then to harass a family down on luck! I know drugs and theft are a huge problem in the community why not invest your time in that piqua pd! It’s a holiday weekend, I bet plenty of drunk drivers are out go bust them!! I bet mayor kris lee would be real impressed by the actions I seen today! Real nice piqua pd real nice!I will never be back to the piqua krogers I will take my business to Troy or to Walmart for my needs! Absolute disgrace!

2021-08-24I moved to the area in May and tried to get some rolls of quarters here because its very close by. They said they couldnt because of a change shortage.... They told me they need to wait for their bank to supply them with more. Its now been over 3 months since then and theyre saying the same thing. So, theyre either lying or their bank somehow hasnt been able to supply them with change for 3 months.

2021-07-14Kroger and Home Depot are the only places I have been that tells you there is a change shortage. THERE IS NO CHANGE SHORTAGE! They lie right to your face. Wont be revisiting.
