Kroger Marketplace in other cities:
The pharmacy is the worst I have ever been to. If you have all day to wait then it’s the place to go for you if not find yourself another pharmacy. the staff is nice however I don’t know what takes so long and it’s not an isolated incident… Drive through and in store all very slow
Service was amazing I was checked out by a cashier name Margaret and the bagger Sincere they were both amazing! They offered amazing customer service and I found all the good and fresh vegetables and meat that I can’t find at the other Krogers best kroger on the west side!!😊
This is the second time in a row I sat in the click list line for over 30 minutes. Both times there were approximately 8-10 cars behind that received their groceries before me. I called the store manager and she said they were busier than usual. I told her the 8 cars behind me didn’t seem to have an issue getting their groceries. Then she asked if I used the app to tell them I’m “on my way.” I told her I’ve called twice and told them I was hear with vehicle description. The manager said “well maybe the other cars used the I’m on my way app.” Not sure why people who are “on their way” aka NOT PRESENT get their groceries before someone who is physically waiting in line. I couldn’t handle the next excuse she tried giving me so I hung up. The system needs to be restructured. I’m not using them anymore.
Click list is such a waste of time and extra money. Literally didn’t get any of the most important things I needed. I literally went home with snack foods and sides.. the most important things I needed like dinner foods I didn’t get. I now have all these sides and no actual food to cook it with. I know for a fact the things they said they didn’t have when we showed up were in stock.
Anytime I interact with the employees at this location they are always extremely friendly and personable. I love the overall shopping experience I have at this store. Also Rudy is such a sweet, gentle, genuine soul and I’m always so happy anytime he’s my bagger — outstanding customer service!
As for the store itself - it’s great and my husband and I love it. However, this review is for the floral department. If you are on the market for crazy daisies - MAKE SURE you look them over thoroughly before buying them from this store. They have consistently been of much lesser quality than ones I’ve bought from other Kroger stores. I talked myself into buying them against my better senses twice now, but unless they improve, I simply won’t be repurchasing from this location again. They consistently are droopy and look like sh*%, even after I try to perk them up in room-temp water with the correct amount of plant food. These last ones I got looked like they’d gotten some kind of root rot, I’d assume in-transit. I tried to rinse it off... I don’t know why. I’m returning them today. It’s sad, really. That’s the best Kroger store around, but I’ll have to go to our other store in Dent, OH when I want the flowers. A friend of mine is a manager of another Kroger floral department, and she says ClickList is ruining staffing and they are even talking about phasing out the floral department altogether. Perhaps the Kroger floral department workers in Harrison, OH are on their way out and simply don’t care?
Kroger is always a great place to shop and get fresh produce that doesnt go bad quickly. The only thing that keeps me from shopping there more often is the parking. It is difficult finding a handicap parking and I feel that for grocery pick up, those should be moved out further in the parking lot so those spots can be used for more handicap availability.
This Kroger has excelled selection, especially in natural and healthy foods. My only complaint is that the store has been set up to force you into the home and health section. Brilliant! They strategically placed the milk at the very back corner of the store opposite of the home decor etc. The produce is at the front of the opposite side. Considering the constant crowd and size of the store, this makes it impossible to make a reasonably quick stop.
Just went into this place and asked them to return Kroger products that I bought within the last 10 days I didn’t keep my receipt because they were Kroger products and the employee behind the counter basically told me to shove off. I only wanted store credit but I guess now I will just never buy the Kroger brand again. They used to guarantee the Kroger brand but I guess they don’t now
I wish I could give this Kroger less than 1 star....I have been super dissatisfied with this Kroger for the past 6 months or so. I have gotten terrible service while checking out--most cashiers (especially the younger ones) have been rude, and playing on their cell phones while working , terrible customer service. Other employees in the store are rude as well, especially the click list employees. They park their carts blocking the aisles, and push customers aside to get the items they are picking. This is terrible behavior. There are a couple of the bag boys that have been sneezing/coughing (not covering) and complaining about being sick, while handling my produce to bag. They bag foods like produce or meats with cleaning supplies, or breads/chips with canned goods. I wish Kroger would train them on how to bag correctly, and send them home when theyre sick, rather than allowing them to snot all over peoples groceries. My hope is that they can turn this Kroger into the wonderful store that it used to be, and have proper standards for employees.
I use their click list for all my grocery shopping. Its fast, easy and convenient. And the people who pick and load it are amazing. Tonight they caught that there was a broken egg in my carton and ran to replace it. Totally worth the $5 fee to not face lines and busy crowds. Plus it remembers your past orders so ordering things that you get often is so simple.
First off, they have just about everything you can imagine in this store. I especially like their boxed sushi, which is inexpensive and tasty. They have a hot foods section that blends into their deli and bakery, so you can quiet easily grab a fast bite for lunch and race out through the self-checkouts if youre on a tight schedule. They have a very good salad bar, too. There are some conveniently located coolers with various drink choices for the grab-n-go lunch options. They have a Starbucks :)Flowers if youre last minute (second?) on important calendar dates...like me.They have a very decent selection of meats and, if you dont happen to see what you want, by all means, ask at the counter. They probably have it in the back.My only less than great experience was when I ordered a 4-bone rib roast and failed to ask them to tie it and cut it away from the bone, which I thought would be obvious, but apparently not. Not a big deal, but a bit annoying that they didnt ask me when buying a $100+ piece of meat. They were (very) busy and I attribute it to one persons individual laziness and not the store itself, but a store is little more than a lot of products and its staff. The staff, as I have said over and over in my lifetime, make the shopping experience (or not). A piece of beef or a loaf of bread can do very little without a solid and fantastic staff stocking, fronting and yes, offering to go that extra little bit to make the experience great for the customer. Thats truly what customer service is all about.99.5% of the time, I find that this stores staff are on top of their games and that they deliver excellent service. They have a lot of sites throughout the store where you can sample different products and these make the experience a lot of fun amidst the more mundane picking up of paper products for the home. The parking lot can be a bit crowded, particularly on big weekend days or around holidays, which makes the experience a bit of a pain. A seasoned veteran of Kroger shopping will look to the monitors to see which checkout lanes are open/moving.The fuel points are a fantastic deal, or at least so it seems. Sometimes they offer 4x fuel points on gift cards. I recently paid 21.99¢ per gallon for gas at a Kroger. Imagine filling up your nearly empty gas tank for under $5!
I love this Kroger store. They always have a great selection of fresh produce, the people are friendly, everything is well stocked, and I can almost always find what Im looking for. If I cant then they usually have something similar enough that I wont notice the difference.
This is the nicest grocery store in the area, but has a number of flaws. The store is constantly being stocked, so there are always employees blocking the aisles. Also, the store is frequently out of very common items, including Kroger brand. The store is generally very crowded, as well.
Terribly overcrowded all the time, cant keep shelves stocked. Mentally challenged workers slow things down even more. Rotten produce and meat on the shelves and if its not rotten then itll last only a day or two max. If I could give it zero stars I would. Its only a mile from my house and I dont always feel like driving to Coleraine but I always end up wishing that I did. No competition locally except Remake which is a joke.
I shop here a lot. There is a Starbucks inside which is awesome! There is a lot Im clothes in there too if you need to get something fast I said of going to the mall. The only thing is it always takes a lot more time to check out I feel that theres not enough workers.
So they have been slowly replacing ALL the organic stuff with ONLY their organic Kroger brand called simple truth. This is so frustrating to me. I cant seem to buy anything I used to come here for. Only stocking simple truth is not going to force me to buy your brand. Its just going to make me shop elsewhere for the stuff I used to buy from there. Do they think people dont notice this? When you wipe out all brands except your own that feels like youre forcing us to buy only your brand. Leaving shoppers without options feels a bit aggressive. Kroger is becoming the place I go to just to refill my water jug. Sad.
Produce is horrible! Better plan on using it as soon as you get it home or it will be rotten! Also, the online digital coupon has largely changed to mostly click list and simple truth. I dont use click list, and if I wanted to go simple truth organic, then I would shop those items!
One of the big perks of Harrison is the amazing Kroger- they always have quality food stocked, and probably the most courteous employees Ive ever encountered in a Kroger. There are wine tastings on Fridays, almost always cheese samples out around the international cheese space, and freshly made salads, meals, desserts, and sushi. Along with the home goods area of the store, Harrison Kroger really is a one-stop shop. Super convenient, easily accessible, and fun to visit.
The Harrison Kroger has decided to eliminate several items from their store since remodeling!Michigan Cottage CheeseNathan’s Sweet Horseradish picklesCampbell Split Pea SoupS&W Beets in Red Wine VinegarVigo Black Beans and RiceThere are several more items! Just to many to list!
Bought a 3rd party “Happy” gift card there for fuel points. $20 on card but will not work at several locations. Tried 3 places a total of 6 times. Card does not work. Called number and card has a $20 balance.Manager and employees were rude and dismissive when I asked them to fix the issue. Wasted several hours of my life trying to use a mere 20 gift card. It is not “a problem with the other stores” as they claim. You have an obligation to fix a mistake like this as a company, especially given the circumstances.Basically, they stole $20 from me.
Looking in front of store for milk near registers. Not there! Apparently others complained they want quick snacks up front and quick milk was moved to the back of the store. Now I know a lot of people who run in for milk, up front, convenient. Not so much now! If I only need milk, I will go to UDF, quick in, quick out. Think you made a mistake.
Look for Bev at customer service if you want real help. The rest of this Kroger does not treat You like a neighbor especially not the deli. All the people at the Batesville Kroger are much nicer and helpful. I dont know who designed the parking lot at the Harrison Ohio Kroger but they must have been a complete idiot. Not easy to navigate.
This store is gigantic and has everything you need. That being said, I wish they didnt have all those workers in the way that are picking peoples groceries for them. We often have to wait for them before we can get our own things and since the store is so huge, it already takes a lot of time to get from one end of the store to the other to buy the things we need.
This store is always missing half of the items from the shelf, but somehow they are always blocking the aisles with stuff that never seems to make it to the shelf.Tonight was especially bad, since they had two-thirds of their brand new self-checkout machines out of order, and the third that were open did not accept one form of payment or the other.Since there was such a long line, the attendant decided that I must have been taking too long to wait on the machine to let my credit card go through, since he took it upon himself to ask if I needed any help to move things along.I would say this is unbelievable, but as it is the Harrison Kroger it is to be expected.
Its a nice place to shop nice parking but kinda small... if only the staff at checkout were nicer Id give 5 stars... the cashier wasnt too bad but brief but the bagger was worse he was crappy and I thanked him for bagging my stuff and he didnt even look at me or say youre welcome.
We find ourselves going to other stores more and more. Kroger keeps reducing variety. Wont order anything you want. (They claim they will) Cashier rang up an item 2x and when he was called out on it he shrugged his shoulders and said its only 2.15. This shows the mind set.
I cannot say enough nice things about the pharmacy at this Krogers location. I used Walgreens for 30 years of my life for my prescriptions and the Harrison Walgreens is horrible. But I am a creature of habit -it was difficult for me to change after all those years to a new Pharmacy. I have never ever regretted changing to Krogers Pharmacy. They are always friendly... They are always prompt and as quick as possible... And in the eight or nine years I have use the pharmacy they have probably made two mistakes. Now they are busy but thats because theyre good. I feel like its worth the wait to get great excellent service. Now the employees in the rest of the store at this Krogers are not as great and perfect as the pharmacy people LOL. One thing that bothers me is out of maybe 20 times in the past five to six years of asking an employee where something is... Maybe two to three of those times the employee was able to help me. 😑 Unfortunately there have been quite a few cashiers ,stock people, customer service desk employees who are downright rude.I have used the click-through service two times and I have to give them an a-plus-plus for service and friendliness and knowledge. So I highly recommend click-through.Krogers does have the best prices in Harrison. Within the past week I was at Kmart and I figured since I was there already I would pick up my laundry products. soap powder softener sheets etc... How do I make my purchase there at Kmart for three laundry products it would have cost me over $7 more than I would have paid at Krogers. If you have their rewards card even the gas is cheapest in the Harrison Ohio area at Krogers. The only complaint I have about Kroger Marketplace is the employees outside of the click-through service and the pharmacy.
It is with deep regret that I write a note such as this. This Kroger has denied our United States Military Veterans a place to sell their memorial poppies, a practice that has been long standing in our community. The tiny poppies have a long history. They are made by hand by our veterans, and offered in exchange for contributions around the Memorial Day holiday. Instead of allowing United States Veterans to offer the poppies, Kroger has instead given permission to three groups. The Salvation Army, the Girl Scouts, and the Boy Scouts. I am particularly angry about the scouts being permitted to sell their way overpriced cookies and popcorn there. Perhaps Kroger harbors ill feelings about the Vietnam War, or some other military operation. Perhaps Kroger cannot see that it is these very men and women, in our military, who have brought to every one of us the extraordinary freedoms we enjoy today. Without the Veterans, Kroger may not even be in business. The boy and girl scouts not free to enjoy their groups, and the Salvation Army may not even exist if it were not for veterans. This is a reckless move on the part of Kroger who has certainly enjoyed the benefits of high sales over the Memorial Day weekends of the past. Their sales are based on this holiday which, ironically honors the fallen military. It is a shame. One that I cannot overlook. My family has served in every war in this country beginning with the Revolutionary War. My father, uncles, grandfathers, great grandfathers, friends and classmates fought hard for this freedom. Now, Kroger turns their back to the United States Military, who simply want to offer their poppies in hopes of a contribution from people like me. I have bought them every year since I was a child. I will not give Kroger my business on this holiday weekend. No. They have done a shameful thing. I regret their decision greatly, and will respond the best way I know how. That is shopping elsewhere. This wound goes deep, Kroger. You have insulted every American Veteran.
Product I normally buy missing, Private Selection Brie. Asked representative in Cheese Dept and she told me that they never carried it and I should look in other departments. I told her Ive bought in the cheese dept for years. She then said I would have to wait while she did another task.
The parking lot is small. The Kroger brand bread this store carries is always stale. The carry baskets the male bachelors use are always located at the self checkout lines and not back at the front doors to the place. The Kroger gas station at the front of the parking lot is always crowded by people trying to save their 10 cents off a gallon. The prices at this store are obviously higher than what you will find at Walmart.
I as well came in late at night shopping and this old greasy headed long haired snagged tooth woman tried to give me crap over coupons!! She yelled over top of me talking to a co worker and wouldnt let me speak!! She shouldnt be working there if she says they can not be used when it clearly states what the item is for!! Im quite sure this is the same woman the person who left the review under me was talking about!! She has long greasy hair, wears glasses, half teeth missing and wears skirts if that helps you figure out who she is!!
Love Kroger in general. Love the pick up service the most. It is so convenient to click on everything you need without having to wander around the aisles. You show up at your time widow and Wala its loaded up in your car. What more could you want? Maybe someday Kroger will deliver, put it all away, and come back and cook for you. Then clean up, do the dishes and vacuum before they leave. Maybe one day right?

2022-06-03Kroger has always been pretty good. Kroger offered me a decent number of commercial options for my hiking across natural locations here. Would recommend if you need a quick stop or quick shop!

2021-11-09I get more frustrated coming to monfort heights Kroger every time I come here. Im tired of their self checkout only taking cards. Its ridiculous! Theres no shortage of coins anymore - probably never was. For just a few items I had to stand in a long line with loaded carts ahead of me. I would go to another Kroger just to avoid this one, but I shop for an elderly woman that lives near here. My time is limited when Im shopping for her.

2018-06-07Huge grocery store with everything from fresh deli food, beer and wine to clothing. Great selection on everything and includes locally grown (Midwest) fresh produce. There is a lunch counters that features sushi, Asian and Mexican food. Store can be very busy on holidays even with all 23 checkout lanes going full tilt. Staff is efficient and small town friendly.

2022-03-03Jimmy the older man in the meat and seafood department is very rude and puts the wrong price on the meats he cuts for you and charges you more than you should have to pay. Check prices before you walk away from the counter. Wouldnt recommend going to this kroger unless they get rid of him.

2019-05-22It is the best place for quick shopping and you have people there to help you find things that you cant. Theres alot of things you can choose from. So you dont have to be stuck with whatever usual stores.
