Kroger in other cities:
Ive had a problem with the grocery pick up before with selling me rotten fruit but they literally sold me MOLDED BREAD on the 19th and after opening it for dinner it was covered in dark green disgusting mold. I am highly disappointed and very surprised that this Kroger is bold enough to sell bad products to its customers. I would recommend going anywhere but this Kroger.
Definitely my favorite Kroger store. I have shopped here every week for the last 6 years and the employees are always nice even though the CUSTOMERS are rude AF. Store is surprisingly clean for as busy as it is too. I was sad to see if switch from 24/7 though, but I can understand the reason behind it/ I also love the ClickList. Im always in and out in less than 15 minutes and the majority of the time everything is there. The odd times they forgot items it was simple to get a refund on my card.
I took my mom to get her covid-19 vaccine. We arrived a little early and they made us wait 15 mins because they werent open yet. It would have only taken a few minutes. So I went an did a little shopping and helped my mom with hers. They only had a few lanes open do I had to do self checkout. The lady who was working that area was very nice and greeted us and told us to have a good day. First time ever!
It was my favorite store for awhile because it was close and lots of clearance always. After both me and my husband were ripped off on separate occasions when we asked for help we decided to no longer go. Not only were we ripped off the customer service was slow, painful, and pretty much non existent. It seemed like the employees were helpless and there was only one person trying to help everyone at the cashiers. Said person did not listen to us but would rather argue with us. It takes quite a bit for me to lose my patience and honestly I never thought I would avoid going to a grocery store. It just isnt worth our energy. I have positive interactions at any other store so giving my business here doesnt make sense. Hopefully a store manager can review my review and go over this issue with their front end employees.
Its clean, employees are nice 99% of the time and I can usually get whats on my list. I generally shop here for last minute things, or things I cant get elsewhere like Grippos BBQ chips or those little buffalo chicken chunks from the deli. The parking lot is a little awkward trying to get back out to Brandt with the bank being right there, but its better than the parking situation at the Kroger on Old Troy.
My prefered Krogers... Staff friendly. The Bakery is my go to for Birthdays ect and they go out of their way to put a smile on your face. My son picked out his birthday cake from the specialty section... It was pricey as it is actually sold by the slice and we bought the whole cake but no complaints ....so worth it. There was no place to write happy birthday on it due to it being presliced and the Bakery staff wrote Happy Birthday to him on the top of the box in marker... Really mafe his day. Sometimes its the little things that we do that really count in life. Shout out to them
Unfortunately the pharmacy staff is very rude, and thats IF you can get them to answer you. It takes multiple hours to fill the simplest prescription, like a childs antibiotic, and even if you show up when they tell you it will be ready, its not. Dont bother calling ahead to see if its ready. Youll be put on hold repeatedly until the system disconnects you, and you have to start over again.
Dont wait until you only have the last spot for pick up. They close at 8pm. They called me at 7pm and said to come get my order before 8pm. I arrive at 7:34pm. Called the number on the sign and a recording told me to come back at my scheduled time. I had to call the main store to let them know I was here. But I didnt wait long and the gentleman that came with my order was nice as could be. Ill make sure to get an earlier time slot for the next order.
Good location, easy access, competitive prices. Fuel Rewards and coupon card system is the best among grocery and department store chains. The store could be a bit cleaner and less cluttered, but is still above average compared to Wal-Mart and smaller convenient stores.
Well i bought two used tires at a total of 120. 5 days later one went flat .idk but seems fishy.i live and work in a clean area it was like a paneling nail very thin .they originally asked for 20 to repair I was down to my last 20 n headed to hospital to see my hubby In the icu. The older man at counter only charged me 15. God bless 🙏 but I feel like that tire was already w nail
I was able to find some great deals they are having just before the Easter holiday. The store was conveniently open at late hours of the night and I was able to capitalize on all the great deals I wanted. The staff was friendly and helpful and they were restocking the shelves preparing for the next sale the following week. Check out was quick and accurate, love the late night shopping less store traffic and plenty of stock. The only way to shop.
I love the click list program. Its so nice to shop at home and a few hours later go pick up your groceries and have them loaded for you! However, my choice of 4 stars is due to them consistently being out of items I purchase on a regular basis. This means ANOTHER trip the next day to go pickup those items in the store myself...or another $4.95 fee to place an online order. There should be some type of slip they can give you to pickup those missed items the following day and the fee is waived.
Great deals on a lot of things but the down side is that they run out before you can get to them, theyll give you rain check but even they are starting to backup on me,lol. Check out was quick and Linda, the cashier was pleasant and even went over my receipt and showed me how to get entered in the the survey for fuel points and sweepstakes. Pharmacy was great, ask something that you can buy over the counter and they didnt have it but was going to order for me to pick up at a later date, Awesome !
This is another solid Kroger. I was able to get in and out with two kids under three and find everything I was looking for. Winning! It had a large selection, but it wasnt overly huge or hard to navigate. It had the same basic layout Ive come to expect from Kroger, which kept things easy. I was also happy to see this store was big enough to offer self check-out. This might become one of my semi regular grocery stores!
I am an assistant at another location in our district, I was astounded at the agression and combatance in the front of house staff...I went with my fiances to grab breakfast and grabbed a six pack for myself. We cashed out, the cashier, Jeremy, chec 501 refused to sell me my six pack, even though I showed him my valid ohio Id. I am thirty, my fiance is 25, he was there for breakfast, I was there for beer. Its ridiculous....i just am dumbfounded.
We have two Kroger locations approximately the same distance from our home. Patronize both regularly but this is our favorite and preferred store. Pharmacy is excellent. Floral shop is especially good and I use it as my first stop when I need flowers or arrangements. The store is excellent after a remodel a year or so ago. Selection and arrangement is superior to the other location in Huber. Staff are usually good and helpful. Never had a problem that wasnt resolved quickly and to our satisfaction. Our primary place to buy groceries on a regular basis.
Things are easy to find and Ive never had a problem with any employee here. The managers are helpful too.The only problem I have are with other customers. A lot of them like to stick their noses up and be passive-aggressive. If you need milk, Excuse me works a whole lot better than Ugh, shes taking forever. I wish shed just move already,.
We are DONE with this pharmacy! My husband called in his refill of his heart medication TWO DAYS AGO and it was finally ready today.. only to find out it is NOT filled, but out of stock, and we were never notified??? Now he has no med!T This is by far the absolute worst service at a pharmacy I have ever seen and not the first time this pharmacy dropped the ball. I havent forgotten how they lost two of my scripts for MY heart medication for my AFib. DONE.
Went to this Kroger today for the first time and was treated very poorly. Maybe Im not their typical looking shopper but was treated like I was at the bottom of the barrel. Asked about why my sale items didnt ring up correctly and was told that I was wrong and he just walked off. Have a friend that shops here frequently and shes always treated with the utmost respect as she looks higher class. I was treated like they seen me as a disgust welfare recipient because of my tattoos. Will never go to this Kroger again.
I love Krogers nice clean, things marked easy to find. I just wished you carried Concord Foods potato toppings, I also there roasted potato seasoning mixs. I have to go to other stores and I always spend more money at them buy things that I end up giving it to the dogs or trash.
The store itself is fine.I always find what Im looking for however I bought chicken from the deli more than once that wasnt fully cooked.if the cook doesnt know how long or what temperature to cook chicken then they shouldnt sell it, had I not checked it me or my kids could have gotten sick from a still bloody piece of what was convenient and easy supposedly cooked chicken
Pharmacy is the least organized Ive seen. The people up front have no empathy for the customers. When your doctor places an order it takes at least 24hrs before its filled, even if you call saying the doctor wants me to start it today. This is if it is even filled. If the doctor prescribed something from the floor, like flonase they dont even fill it.
I have used the pull up and delivery service numerous time in the past with great service. Today However when I pulled up and call the number I was greeted by a very rude Jasmine before I could give her my name and make and model of the car I was driving she replies we will be out shortly and hung up the phone. I was confused so I called back to make sure she had the right customer she replied we will be out soon. When Jasomie final came out she and two other young ladies were speaking loudly and acting unprofessional. Overall very poor service today.
Went in to get gift cards and they charge me to activate the cards. Then they say you get four times the points on your Kroger Plus Card however by the time youve activated each card youve spent that money that you would have saved in your point bonus. Then they let me know that once you buy the card you cant return it. Thats BS
I generally like Kroger but this location is dated and in serious need of a major upgrade or total replacement. They need to expand into their other retail space at this location and remodel to make it like the Fairborn location. If not, this location will have the same fate as the Needmore location. If you havent been to the Fairborn location, go, and then you will see what Huber Heights is missing.
The Krogers on Brandt Pike has the most rudest employees I have ever ran into!! I was forced to go to this one due to the closing of the Needmore store since its closer to my home. And every employee I have talked to there has been rude. But I will start driving out further due to this issue!!
It was late at night and I called ahead to see if they take mobile payments. They werent able to tell me so I took a risk and tried anyway. They tried to force you to use something called Kroger Pay... well if I had my cards on me I wouldnt need to use a mobile payment. Whats incredibly irritating is that the people on the phone had no idea whether they did or didnt take mobile payments. if they cant answer a simple question like that why are they even answering the phone?
Following in the tradition of Huber Heights Krogers, this is a little ragged. Flickering lights, dingy, and just run down. Selections are limited in some categories (dont expect a variety of wines). I grew up around here and when I stopped back to visit, it was like stepping back in time.
Workers were stocking products and the place was full of customers. And to top it off I spent $70.00 dollars and had to BAG MY OWN grocery s.while the cash register guy flirted with the female customers. Not pleased at all.I shop at Kroger s on a daily basis. Brantley pike store.
Today the store is getting 3stars solely for the staff I like and that are doing a good job...I spoke to Geoffrey the manager on duty about issue #1...the store is dirty inside and especially outside. ..they spent spent loads of $ to redo the inside...new floors...lightning...shelving...but what didnt change were the peoples attitude like DISNEY. ..if you see it pick it up...paper ect on all floors under shelving units ...at doors...at registers...and especially entrances...#2...curb appeal is worse...qhere are the staffers with the little brooms sweeping all the cigarette butts at the front doors and trash all OVER. ..ok says Mr. Manager...we sweep at night...yeah yeah yeah I was told that before the last time I complained #3...trash past the pharmacy drive up window up the hill and around the northside of the building. ..well thats not our responsibility. ..Really I say to Mr. MANAGER. ..if the paper was picked up by the guys bringing the carts in...there wouldnt be paper to go up the hill you arent responsible for...but the worst is the new Pharmacy rules and regulations. ..I certainly miss the previous manager Debbie. ..I did positive feedback on the Kroger website about her and the professional staff before. ..I bring them Ester Price candy to show my appreciation for excellent service. ..but today was a different story...Debbie is moved to another store and it shows...I come in with candy for the girls...I wait and wait and wait in line...im in the store...where are all the employees? I finally get my turn...Ms. Debbie is gone as are many of her highly competent staff....I get my prescriptions and leave...at home I noticed I am missing an important one...I call the very stupid Kroger no seruve pharmacy number...first I wait 5:30 then 8:40mintues...nothing. ..finally I call the store and get transferred. ..wait it gets better. ..my script wasnt ready...yes I know its my fault for not checking. ..Ooo no we arent allowed to give partial scripts ANYMORE. ..really. ..I introduced myself to the new pharmacist when I dropped off the candy and told him...I hope you are as good as Debbie. .. he says....yes I say no...no partials mean I cant get my script even 1/3 or 1/2 so are we #1 play doctor because you dont want to give partial scripts or and #2 more concerned about the bottom line or #3 the customer no service provided? Keep this up to more than me and it wont be just staff leaving. ..the
Dont use click list. Went to pick up an item at my pickup time and was told they didnt have it. No phone call or anything. They told me they had no idea that I was coming even though I was to be there between 11-12, I got there at 11:45. Manager only wanted to give me $10 for my inconvenience after driving 30 minutes one way to get there.
The staff is great. Well ran. However, Kroger needs to invest into this community Kroger location. This location is one of the busiest around. Its sad that Kroger chooses to only invest in well off area locations. This is a location surrounded by a blue collar working class that deserves the same high quality store as the other locations. Show us you care Kroger.
Never have my prescription even after sending me a text and telling me its ready I get prescriptions Im no longer on and in the past Ive got 2 different prescriptions for other people (one of which was a heart med smh) they are not quality care they are extremely slow and no one there knows what they are doing its horrible
This store is never stopped every time I go here I can never find what I need because the shelves are empty theyve never got any decent deals on me and you might as well forget trying to find a turkey or ham if you stop somebody and ask them to check in the back all they do is sit in very unhelpful

2022-03-29Store experience not so great. They need to get new Management. I saw some female worker go off on a customer. Cashiers had to rescan all my items before cause they missed some stuff. Some guy in Dairy Department was very kind enough to help me with my shopping though. An I saw some female get all sassy with him. I feel like the good workers are not getting enough recognition. An I think that things should be checked with the other stuff.Everything took long at floral as well just to get help. Shelves were better than last time.

2022-04-04Solid grocery store with a good selection. Recent supply chain issues mean it’s not 100% reliable, but what store is these days? The one thing to look out for is some of the pre-packaged vegetables, I’ve had issues with those, especially tomatoes, going bad far before the expiration date a few times. You’ll likely do well here otherwise.

2022-06-21The Western Union hours are incorrect for this business and if you need this service past 8pm (website says open until 10pm), you will be treated like garbage by the customer service desk. My father was told “the hours have been changed before COVID,” like they had almost 3 years to change the website, knew this was a problem, and did nothing about it.

2022-04-24Great store, great employees. Some of the other customers can be downright nasty and entitled. So I get if one of the understaffed clerks is having an off day.

2022-02-08In the evenings they will only have one lane open with cashier. Must do self serve at these times. The employees are helpful if you need something.

2021-10-11The customer service here puts up with a lot. I just witnessed a customer hit a workers car, the customer go off on the worker for literally nothing (I saw the entire thing) and she remained calm, apologized for something that wasn’t her fault, asked if she neededTo get management and went ahead and called management anyways.I worked in customer service most of my life. Some people act like we are robots with no feelings. I got the whole thing on camera. The customer quickly realized she was in the wrong after she saw me recording. If I could give this lady 10 stars, I would. She was what people are trained to be in customer service. Wonderful job.

2021-03-25The employees are friendly & professional, as well as very helpful. I love that this Kroger stayed open til 11pm during the lockdown! The thing I think they could implement, is sanitizing the carts, as Whole Foods does. This would alleviate the bottleneck of patrons stopping at the entryway all the time.
