Kroger in other cities:
On 9.17.21 we shopped here. There is an employee here named Taylor. She was working in the cashier/checkout area. My daughter is handicapped. Taylor called here stupid, yelled at here, and told her whats wrong with you? and to move out of the way faster, and yelled at us for having children like that. What kind of terrible vicious self centered vipers do they hire here? We are outraged and will NEVER step into anything kroger, again. and ... None of our family or friends will either. We even called the store manager, Ashley Mead. She never returned our call. I guess she protects her self centered rude vipers. They must be more important than 22 year customers.
Five years ago I wrote a great review about this Kroger location. Ive been shopping here ever since, but over the past few months, Im not pleased at all. It doesnt matter the time or day, the new norm they allow is 40+ minutes to check out. Im sitting here on Mothers Day morning at 9:45am. This is not a joke, they have 1, uno, one....register with an employee and 2 self checkouts! That is terrible service, and its the new norm. If you dont want to hire people to check us out, at least open more than 2 self checkouts. Im about to leave hundreds of dollars in groceries sitting in a random aisle because I dont have the 40+ minutes Kroger now requires their customers to wait to check out. Good thing the nearby Target just added groceries. This was from 5 years ago. Apparently management must have changed. This Kroger is great. I rarely have to wait, and the random times when there are long lines, they actually open up more lanes! WOW! Walmart sends people to lunch when they have lines, Kroger brings more people in to help!
I was there on a Sunday around noon and they had three registers open. The lines for uscan and registers went from the front of the store to the end of each aisle. I waited in line for 25 minutes. Avoid this store if possible. They really are no better than Walmart now.
Jacob, who worked click list pickup on 08/02/21 around 7 pm needs recognition! He was (what it had seemed) a one man band and was super apologetic for the long wait. He not only called me ahead of time to let me know my order was going to be delayed, but when I got there he explained that its still just as busy, and that theyre behind and how sorry he is. I completely understood and told him Ill wait and that its no big deal. 10 minutes later, he walks out with my order, apologized again for the order being delayed and gave me $ off due to the inconvenience, etc. Kroger, you have a great employee here at the Polaris location! He was back to back to back with pickup orders and even stated that they were short staffed and to bear with him. Everyone understood and I honestly admire his great customer service skills and patience with customers who want to be in and out. He didnt need to get my order next but he did. He was very kind, appreciative and Ill continue to shop there because of him!!
This location is terrible. The quality of produce and meats is awful, the store itself is grimy and the cashiers are just a bunch of teens who have zero etiquette or training on how to properly handle groceries or bag them. They just fling everything to the end and you end up having to bag for yourself.
Every time the Deli puts the sticker over the meat in such a weird way it literally rips open the bag every single time forcing me to put it in something else. Why do they do that, this is actually the only Kroger that tapes the bags so weirdly. Im writing this after yet another ripped bag of meat. Smh.
Ive been grocery shopping here for a while... this morning I had 180$ of grocery and I was questioned by one of the employees at the self check out line about $10 off coupon. That 10$ was an instant coupon automatically applied because I bought 2 boxes of pampers (50$ total), and she asked me for the paper coupon to give her. She had to call another lady to confirm that the coupon was okay... are you serious? I hope it will never happen again. Not with 180$ of grocery in my cart and a coupon applied automatically. Thats not doing your job... thats lack of being professional. And she also said the misunderstanding was because I called it e-coupon. Oooh well... I didnt. And its okay if you misunderstood my sentence, but e-coupons are not made of paper either... Thanks to the second lady that took a second to figure the coupon out.
Drew in the Deli is awesome! We left early for a long road trip and had been on the road for several hours and wanted a sandwhich but alas the Deli was not open yet. Drew came to our rescue and went out of his way to get everything ready to make us excellent sandwiches! Drew is very friendly and a shining example of great customer service and deserves to be recognized, thank you again!
I could not finish my shopping, the fresh produce was covered in fruit flies and other flying insects. Every other item I came in for was out of stock except for the Kroger brand. The items I needed that were in stock are several dollars cheaper at competitors. Will not be back to a Kroger.
I’ve always been a fan of Kroger and this is easily one of my go-to locations. The store is clean and stocked more than most of the time. Vegan and vegetarian options are easy to find as well. My only issue is with Regina, who works the self checkout area. Regina is incredibly rude and will make you feel like an inconvenience no matter the issue.
Hard to locate if you are not familiar with the area its in, however other than that this is another excellent Kroger. Spacious clean with an ample selection of goods. Checkout help was a bit slim with only 3 cashiers , however we were able to utilize self checkout and process our order quickly.
Unbelievable policies!i was just denied a bottle of wine because i am not american! apparently being a Canadian disqualifies from buying alcohol. No alcohol to foreigners i was told. this is so ridiculous for kroger to have that policy. i travel on business a lot to the USA, and never ever been told i cant buy a bottle of wine. kroger has lost all my future business.
Stopping by to make a shout out to Chef Drew in the roger deli. We had been on the road since 3:00 am, and around 9:00 am we were pretty hungry, so we pulled into Kroger to grab a premade sandwich. Chef Drew greeted us right as we walked in the store, after trying to find a premade sandwich, he likely noticed our lack of success and offered to make us sandwich and he wasnt even technically open for service yet. Not only was he kind and helpful, but he also made an excellent sandwich recommendation, and this spicy cheese was SO GOOD! We then, so impressed and grateful, went to find his manager to share! He went out of his way to help us, was generous, kind, and fun to talk with. Thank you Chef Drew for going above and certainly beyond!
I have been to many Krogers this one was terrible. I went into the store at 4:30 pm, during the week and no hot / cold Kroger prepared soup, could not make a sandwiches due to putting the lettuce away, and a $8.50 cash back free even with a purchase of groceries. If this is new to all Krogers. I just wont go to Krogers grocery stores anymore when I travel. On the positive side the cashier was smiles and friendly.
My preferred Kroger store mostly due to location, but it does have a gas station which is convenient. I buy all my groceries and gift cards to build fuel points and save on gas while I’m there. The addition of Kroger Grocery Pickup is nice. If I’m pressed for time, I just add the items to cart using the Kroger app and they bring your groceries out to you in the designated parking spaces. It saves on time, but does cost like $5 for the service.
This whole scam about not returning customers change because of the Corona virus /coin shortage has lost you at least one family of customers. I have heard that some people who pay with ATM card have been up charged as well. Which makes no sense at all. This will in the long run gain Kroger millions of dollars off the backs of their customers. You already have the highest prices in comparison to most of the other stores. This is a way to insure that customers return to you. I would like the option to use my change at another store. Why force us to return to you or you will donate it to your charity that Kroger will later us as a charitable contrabution tax credit for your store. Maybe I want to donate my change to the salvation Army red buckets at Christmas. I believe the Kroger Company has made a big mistake in taking away customers right to choose how they use their own money.
4 stars for having less variety than the bigger store up on 23. Employees are great though and the clicklist pickup is great. $5 is more than worth the time I save. Appreciate that the employees make sure to get nice looking produce and always seem to know where the obscure items are located. Much better experience with clicklist than Instantcart. Bravo Kroger employees!
Came yesterday to pick up my prescription at 535pm, was told it still wasnt finished and would be done till 6pm, so after checking out and leaving the store at approximately 540/545pm I get a phone call that my prescription was ready when I was already home! Came this morning to pick it up and first they cant even find it, then they tell me I will have a copay and when I tell them I have no co-pays they tell me they will have to call the insurance since they kept getting an error message. I called the insurance while they made me wait for over 15 min, meanwhile my groceries I just bought are going bad. The insurance tells me there is nothing wrong with my card! I HATE this kroger pharmacy!!! Incompetent employees and unprofessional!!! This will be the LAST time I ever fill a prescription here. Highly recommend going to meijer pharmacy, walgreens or even CVS!!!
Great Food selection, fresh produce and good deals. Also great selections in their Organic and Cultural food sections. One one bad Experience with a single cashier once, otherwise friendly staff. Come here weekly for groceries. Recommend mid day Sunday for least number of people. Moderately busy most other times and VERY busy from 3-6 weekdays. However grab a coffee at the Starbucks to shop and it wont seam as much f a hassle!
Ive been going here for over a year. I like this one better than the Kroger on 23 because its smaller, so easier to find things I need than going down 50+ aisles. The staff have been very friendly, asking if I find everything okay or hello most days. The people at check out have been nice enough to give me free items such as a free box of diapers, free chicken, and free bracelets for my daughter over this past year. Check out is fast (and I have 2 kids with me), even with my cart full of items. Ive had some issues in the past with coupons or cashiers, but this is my go to place.
Tommy, bagger, has the worst customer experience I had ever had in a grocery store. Not only does he have side comments about shoppers and what they buy, he is VERY rude. His bagging skills are unbelievably terrible. He put my orange juice bottle with my bread, put bags of pasta sauce on top of vegetables and salad. and made comments when I moved bags around in my cart when he did such things. I purposely put things on the checkout belt in a way so this doesn’t happen (Fruits & veggies together, frozen with frozen, cans with jars, etc.), but he somehow found a way to mess it up.
It is a great store overall . I am giving 3 stars just because I got a cake done in the bakery for a gender reveal . I specifically told the person that the middle frosting inside the cake should be of a specific color . When I cut the cake it was nothing like what I mentioned . It tasted good but the whole point behind the color to Reveal baby s gender was missed out . It was a disaster for us . We felt bad . Obviously you cant check the color of the frosting before buying the cake . You know it only when you cut it . That was very much devastating as they missed out the detail behind the cake which was the most important criteria . I wouldnt recommend getting a gender reveal cake done at Kroger 🙄😏
I shop there at least once a week, always a good experience for me. The associates are attentive and knowledgeable. One thing to note is that all their teenage associates act professionally, something sadly lacking at most grocery stores. I see some complaints here about parking and they arent wrong. But in my experience, almost every store on the north end has terrible parking. There really isnt a good solution without changing locations....I I like the location.
Amazing service and dedication. After coming in with my son this morning 02/25/2020 I was disheveled, lost and grumpy. My year-old son in tow when Chef Drew saw my son and I and gave a smile and pleasantries and went above and beyond to help us have a better day. He got my son a red balloon and doughnut. The small act of kindness made our day thanks.
Worst Kroger/ grocery store ever. First time writing a review...that’s how bad it was. Had about over $100 cart full of groceries and small miscellaneous items. The self checkout lanes were only available. Never once was offered help to go to a lane. Or had assistance. But only after we were done, they opened a cash out lane for everyone else.
I just left this particular Kroger, which I don’t go to often. I got one of the smaller carts, but got more than expected. The bagger repeatedly announced that bigger carts were better and that I may want to invest in getting that next time. You know what???? I got that!!! Don’t worry...next time I’ll get a smaller cart and resist buying anything extra from your store. Thanks for making me feel like an idiot! Won’t go there again....😡😡😡😡😡
If you would like your pharmacist to make executive decisions about your medicine & not inform you then this is the right stop for you! I was told 40mins for a prescription that was given by my dentist,I was left waiting an hour and a half while she was making decision about my mental health & contacting the wrong doctors so I was told after 1hr 20m, oh yes well I called & made him feel uncomfortable so he voided your prescription.. none of it would have been an issue except nobody told me & I left with no medicine & blood running down my chin...it was unpleasant to wait for nothing & not be called to ask the patient first I thought there were confidentiality rules, for social reasons I didnt want my dentist to know my mental health business,it was not necessary if someone simply talked to me first.
Just had the worst cashier ever her name is Sunitha she had an attitude she wouldnt start my transaction till I handed her my Kroger card. Suggestion if you are in her lane go to a different one she is definitely not a people person. KROGER I think you need to teach your employees how to interact with customers and teach them not to be self centered.!!!!!
One of worst store staff and manager.. today felt like they are big racist..seeing non American make them feel they are the kings... My foot!My wife went for return of Advil drug bought over the counter...1st he asked for Kroger card or credit card to issue a gift card even when she had a receipt with her..They were arrogant and said cant be done...even when my wife had eceipt .. in hurry my wife.came back to car to get her Kroger card...And now manager said.. he will need credit card as he was not comfortable in issuing a gift card..with original receipt, unopen box of Advil, and Kroger card with herWithin 10mins things got changed..1st they wanted to see Kroger card and now when we had Kroger card they wanted credit card... It means their receipt doesnt have any value...After utter dissatisfaction, my wife asked me to go and get the refund done as I used my credit card..Even with me , store manager was showing attitude and treating badly... store manager completely went off this words that he was never going to refund on gift card... After 5 mins of discussion, he shamelessly started asking me to leave ..as if I came to Kroger to beg....what a pathetic service and arrogance....I wish Kroger mgmt take this issue serious as such incident can only spoil the name of firm and can lose business.... Bad bad treating for customer
Multiple times I’ve been in this week and not only are customers not being asked to wear masks but I’ve seen multiple employees without them as well. Not only is this a safety hazard but the governor has ordered the county to wear masks. This is ridiculous, do better.
Worst Kroger. Dont waste your time. I come in the evenings and there is always a line of 20to 30 people. Sometimes more. Most of the time only the uscan is opened and the person working is way behind on helping people. They are so cheap on labor here. Even if youre closer, youll save time making a trip. As I posted this I just heard a woman warning a man in the parking lot not to waste his time going in. Im not even kidding.
Drove 3 hours, paid for a hotel room the night before, all to try to pick up a bottle of my favorite bourbon because I heard from a guy they get have bottles of it on Monday.Spoke to a manager and he told me to be there at 8:30, as there liquor store opens at 9. At 9 am, the guy very rudely opened the door and said that if I was here for the Weller, he wasn’t bringing it out until noon. I told him that I spoke to a manager, and he told to be here at 8:30, why would he not bringing it out until noon. He said he didn’t even know if the truck was here and refused to go check, told me to come back later. I told him that I drove 3 hours, and that the manager said I could get one this morning... still refused to help and just brushed me off.Very unprofessional. I do not recommend!
Being from a rural town in Oklahoma and moving up here to Polaris has been a culture shock to say the least. Tonight I had a lady following me in the store for a good hour asking for money & fishing for personal information. Being married to a 15 year vet of Army Ranger Bat. Ive learned to always have a guard up but it left me very uneasy. She even followed me to the check out and watched me checkout. By that time I was kind of nervous. I asked the young man bagging to walk me to my car and I explained what had happened. He had even noticed. I called the manager and that gentleman had already went and made her aware.Needless to say I will continue going here where the associates are friendly and caring as well...
I usually shop at the Kroeger on Park but was out and stopped at the Polaris location. While the store is laid out well and they have a larger selection, the checkout process was HORRIBLE. I go to the self-checkout stations and the time between scans was 2 times what it takes at other self checkouts. Using the plastic bags, when I moved them every one of them split down the sides...every one. I had to rebag into the paperbags which my fingers poked right through. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. I will never go back to that location again.

2021-09-18Okay dude straight up this was a pretty nice Kroger. Krogers my favorite place do my grocery shopping I feel they always have the best deals and this one is no exception. It looks a lot bigger on the inside than it does on the outside take that how you will it was a very clean store and the staff was pretty friendly I found everything I needed relatively quickly. I dont live around here but if I did Id come here often. Check it out if youre in the area.

2022-02-01Dirty. Rude employees. They sell spoiled chicken. The line to pay are as long as the isles and have only 2 register opened the entire time. Nobody cares at this location. Disorganized. Go to target the two minutes longer drive worth it. Do not support this kind of businesses.

2021-11-30So at 7:30pm on a Monday night they decide to ONLY have U-Scan open and appx 40-50 customers in line and they could care less, seems to me that if I was the manager on duty I would personally open a register with that many in line. I started shopping here 5 years ago and it was a top of the line Kroger and now it’s bottom of the barrel. The arrow is the registers and you can see the line of customers, I’m 16 minutes in line so far !!

2022-02-18Just another Kroger without adequate staffing. There is one line for 6 self checkouts on a Friday afternoon. The line stretches to the back of the store. Its amazing, really,. That Kroger retains any customers at all.

2022-04-15Only ever like one cashier working, all the rest is uscan. And its a busy store. Ive noticed huge price hikes in the last few weeks. Seriously $7 for a 12 pack of coke. And once again theyre are moving everything all around so you cant find anything in the store. Will probably be shopping at Meijer instead next time.

2021-01-26The best shop for fresh local vegetables and other grocery items. You get all the vegetables, baking items, meat, grocery and liquor as well. They have good offers on day to day items. This Kroger is very famous in this area and it’s on Polaris parkway and clearly visible. It’s must visit of you leave in Polaris area. You also have Kroger gasoline next to it.

2017-02-08Most excellent, appropriate and orderly store. Everything is fresh and stored excellently. Found what I was looking for.. International food section is stuffed with all the essential items. Organic vegetables, all fresh and neatly arranged.. Loved the store!

2022-02-15I guess slow is the American sign of the times in this place is a reflection of that.So this place has 17 checkout centers 10 of which are self check out which leaves you with seven regular checkout lines and today only two of those maned lines were actually open. That’s important because I stood in line for 15 minutes. The pace of both employees at the man checkout lines was super slow not just slow or average or poor but let’s see how slow we can be slow.Sadly I understand that they’re understaffed because of the freak show in America today with all the media hype but I don’t understand Americans values of drawing a paycheck and doing the job as slow as you possibly can.No this is your Kroger typical store it’s beautiful fully stocked clean very nice. But for me if I want a headache of self check out or such a slow pace then I’ll go to Walmart and pay how much lower price.Once again I’m sure this is the sign of the times but it sure seems like they should have some peptalk with current employees about actually performing a job that they’re paid for had a decent pace

2021-12-24Harrison was our cashier. He was very to rude to me and to a special needs co worker in front of me. He didnt allow the young man enough time to pick up his purchase before he slammed our food down the conveyor belt. That knocked open his co workers food purchase. He didnt apologize or even acknowledge me until he told us our total. I was told by an employee that no manager was on duty. Highly inappropriate.

2022-02-10I stopped by the Polaris Kroger at 10:15 on 2/9/2022. There was only 1 cart in the store because the carts were all in the parking lot. I needed Diet Coke, milk, orange juice, and a couple of frozen meals; so I needed a cart. Unfortunately, the only cart had a broken wheel. I had no choice but 2-wheel it through the store. I got to the check-out line and waited for 5 minutes. I then pulled up and started scanning my groceries. The clerk said, you know why that doesnt work, its locked. I said, its the only cart in the store. She said, its not my fault. I then said, do you want me to purchase these. She said, its up to you. I almost left my cart of groceries there, but decided to purchase them and discontinue shopping at Krogers at least for the next few months.I will start doing my grocery shopping at Walmart.
