Kroger in other cities:
I went to this store this pass weekend. There was a guy in the parking lot with a sign for money and playing his violin beautifully! This was the best part about this trip! Deli worker was nice, polite but missing pork tenderloin at the deli like other Krogers.Check out, this is where if I could give a negative 5 would do justice. I had 2 orders, after the first order, the customer behind me loaded his cart and the cashier decided to punish me instead of asking the other customer to wait, she made me to to another lane where I had to used the self scan. Ok, thats fine, 1 of the item got mixed in another order therefore, the buy 5 save $5 didnt work, I was told to go to service desk. There were 6 people in front of me, 1 worker (extremely slow, same customer for an hour). I asked a few employees walking by to get more help. I got blank stares and totally ignored. 30 minutes later, the manager was walking around, I ask this manger, he walked on by and said if I can and disappeared. 1/2 hour later, someone that was standing around bagging food all this time finally came, she helped 1 customer and left. Then, someone must of told her to come back. My gosh, what a frustrating time!!! There is absolutely no customer services here at this store!!! Manager was clueless, lacked awareness of his store and apparently cant prioritize. What an awful experience, I go to a lot of stores during my life time, this is the WORSE store Ive been to! ABSOLUTELY THE WORSE STORE IN AMERICA.
I go to Kroger once a week to get groceries and do not typically go to this one. But today I was in the area and decided to grab a few items on my way home. Only got 4 small bags and yet it was a struggle. The smell in this store can only be described as damp barn floor. The ground was all a little wet but it has not rained today and it was incredibly dirty. In the produce section, there were flies and it smelled pretty bad so I didn’t end up getting what I came for because it was not something I would enjoy eating. I am a vegetarian, so I went to their small section of protein replacements and it was worse. Most boxes crushed and not even reduced and the smell in the area was so bad I didn’t even look in the section, I just moved on. It was pretty crowded for a Friday afternoon, but I know the area is pretty busy. However, because it is so mismanaged, there was no where to go down most isles because there was stuff everywhere and so dirty, so it was hard to move around. It also was very dimly lit and hard to see things. There are almost no carts inside but when I went outside there were almost none in the cart returns, making me realize they just don’t have carts, even though it’s a grocery store… with the dim lighting, the smell, the lack of edible items, the lack of usable equipment, and the caos of the inside, this felt more like a haunted maze. I got a few things I felt were alright and I left to go literally anywhere else.
I had the worst experience over chicken drumsticks. It came down to me speaking with the manager who look like he was the same age as my grandson. The price was $.99 a pound the price on the package was $9.17 for 5 pounds of chicken drumsticks. Which were$1.69 per pound. He told me my math was not right it should’ve been $5.37 for the pack I don’t know how he came up with his price even on his calculator. I left the chicken there because no one in the store knew how to add
Absolutely love this location. It has become my favorite grocery store. The staff is very polite & helpful. They greet me as I come & go. The store itself is very clean & pretty well organized. I like that there are free bananas for kids, free cookies, & other samples. The customers who shop here are also a nice variety of folks. Never had any issues with any wild or concerning behavior at this store. The parking lot is set up well. I also LOVE Kroger in general for the gas discounts! Sometimes I get up to 60¢ off/gallon. My one complaint is that I ordered a birthday cake once at this location, came to pick it up in the evening but they hadn’t written on the cake. The manager came out & directly wrote on the cake for me. Thanks for being an amazing Kroger! Keep up the good work! 👍
I feel less and less comfortable to shop at this location. I have been shopping here for years. The store is dirty, messy, customer service with some exceptions is getting worse. Compare to other Krogers in the area (Gahanna, Reynoldsburg) it doesnt even looks like same brand.
When going to this Kroger’s , do not expect a nice visit. Every time I have went to this store something is wrong. One time, I went there and was at the end of my shopping when a fire alarm went off and we had to evacuate the store, and I couldn’t even buy my groceries and had to go to a different Kroger’s. Another time, I entered the store, the security guard was sitting at the mask desk supposedly giving out masks when they didn’t even have a mask on correctly. When it is also states that the workers would wear a mask on their website. From my perspective, it comes across as Kroger not caring about their customers health. Also, might I add, I have worked at a Kroger’s during this pandemic and they do NOT give temp checks to the workers. So if you get sick blame them(incompetent workers). Last but not least, I went to here again at this location to try to pick up my prescription, since I am sick and contagious with a viral infection. I went in without knowing of the drive thru and waited in line to get my prescription, they said to wait 30 mins to pick it up so I came back to get my prescription then they state they are out of my medicine and I need to drive 25 mins away to pick it up. I asked them nicely why would they state I could pick my medicine up in 30 mins when it’s not available ? The employee Misha then escalated the situation by yelling at me through the speaker and so I started raising my voice back since this is no not a way to treat “valued customers” and as frustrated I was, I asked for a hirer up in her division, and she came back and said there is no manager on staff for the pharmacy and that she has been there for 16 years and know how to handle everything. When obviously she doesn’t know the first thing about her job, and had a complete disregard when I told her I was sick and could not enter the store to talk to her she said that it wasn’t her problem and that I should figure it out I am so disgusted with this location the store manager Tom should also be fired with misha it’s very disgusting that Kroger’s has allowed someone so rude to work there for 16 years .
I’ve been shopping here since 2015. The store is very clean and always stocked. Associates are friendly, and helpful, especially Howard at self checkout. I gotta say though, this Kroger branch needs to do something in regards to the homeless/panhandlers who either stand right outside the door or in the parking. You will sometimes find parents using their kids as props in order to make money, and it’s always the same people.
This is a pretty nice Kroger, albeit one of the more unusual layouts of the store that Ive been. The produce us usually pretty fresh, and the store us pretty well stocked. It gets to be crowded as much as youd expect being in the city off a major road (E Broad), but if you go during off hours, youre golden.
Multiple terrible experiences regarding click list. Got home just to realize the did not provide any of the 5 meat items we had ordered, nor a frozen pizza or pancake mix. We opted for the substitute options but were not notified at pickup that items were not available or not substituted. You mean to tell me the entire store is put of frozen pizzas or pancake mix!? Totally negates the whole easy trip without having to go in part.
Decent selection of groceries and a friendly staff, facility is a little outdated though. The major drawback of this location is that it usually always has little to no shopping carts available (especially in inclement weather) and not enough checkout lanes open though. You typically end up bagging your own groceries as well if you dont want to stand around and wait while the cashier does double duty and bags too.
Good solid national chain in America. Fine products at reasonable prices. Inspired staff, clean store, easy to navigate. Quality improves yearly. Upscale offerings increase perpetually. Upscale Private Selection, Simple Truth and organic labels increasing. Free parking in lot, handicap parking, entries, and restrooms available. Riding carts with baskets on-hand are available. Fuel perks loyalty program, shoppers discount card, and digital coupons program available free of charge. Free credit card with perks also available.
Pharmacy technician Misha was anything but kind and welcoming . Prescription pick up was not ready when promised (20 to 25 minutes) and I was informed rather rudely that would be an additional 20 minutes. 20 minutes later I am still sitting here waiting. Finally got the prescription and not even a thank you or have a nice day... Customer service employees should be better than this...
Listen. I dont write a lot of Google reviews and I especially wouldnt normally write one about a grocery store but I have to give a shout out to this Kroger in particular. I just built a house in the area and since Kroger is my preferred grocery store, after one trip to Giant Eagle I decided to check them out. I was in early in the morning on a weekday and I was blown away by how friendly everyone was. Whether they were stocking shelves or working the seafood counter, they were all exceptional. I thought maybe it was a one off experience but when I returned for the 2nd time on a week night around 9:30pm, I got the same level of service. The employees here go out of their way to be friendly and helpful and Im so impressed I had to write a review. To the store manager, fantastic job of hiring great people that represent your brand well!
Unfortunately this Krogers pharmacy is frustrating and incompetent. The wait is always long, and they routinely bungle my insulin Rx. The store itself is fine. However, over the past 2-3 years the pharmacys lines have gotten longer, and its service has gotten poorer and poorer. Whether its continued slide is a result of being understaffed and/or failing to pay the staff enough money to prevent a high turnover rate, its clear that the pharmacy/store management does not care to invest the time, effort, and resources necessary to ensure a quality pharmacy at this location.
The food selection is really good and the constant sales for being a Kroger plus customer are awesome. Saving on gas is always a plus. My huge and main complaint is the pharmacy they have a drive through but its usually about five cars long. Going in isnt much better. Slowest pharmacy in all history and it continues to get worse. Went to pick up one medication, was fine enough on the other one, but asked if they would fill it so I could get it later. Pharmacy tech was so rude she liked to remind me they are no longer a 24 hour pharmacy so Id have to get it tomorrow. I responded with I dont need it immediately thats why Im requesting it be filled so I can come back to get it later. Later didnt mean today. She grumbled filled it and I havent been back to get it dont want to deal with the wait one the pharmacy techs. But Kroger itself is a good store. Pharmacy just lacks...everything
Today I went to the Kroger on east Broad Street and had a wonderful experience.Well let start off with I have been having a very difficult time trying to find a store to fill up my gallon jugs and 5 gallon jugs. It seems every place water dispenser is not working.I called the Kroger on East Broad Street Anthony answered the phone and checked to make sure the water dispenser was working an it was. Yeah!!!! I jokingly said could put an out of order sign on it for me. He did that for me. That gave me a good laugh and made my day.😊😊😊I called 5 stores that day.Thank you Anthony. When I was loading my truck Miguel helped me without hesitation to put the 5 gallon jugs in my truck for me.Thank you Miguel.
The customer service is always way better than Giant Eagle. They do a good job stocking for the weekends but Ive seen them out of bacon and produce before. The Minute Clinic there is terrible, lots of erroneous charges, insurance bungling, and blatant mistrust of the patient. All in all a clean, decently efficient store, but go to CVS or The Minute Clinic on Hill Rd if you need that side of things.
This Starbucks is embarrassment to customers. They cannot get a drink order correct .no one is trained well not really cares. After all they are Kroger workers. Different cultures . Avoid all Kroger Starbucks they charge _$30 cents for water vs Starbucks policy FREE. Truth is written. .
Salad bar wasnt open at 9. Waited til 9:20 and found the manager of the cashiers. She personally walked me around to get my items for a salad and have them to me for free. Cant beat great customer service. Initially I was upset and I left more than satisfied. I dont remember her name but I clearly see why shes a manager...
Im a first time father of a 5 week old.. So sleep and any kind of normal schedule does not exist. I went to this Kroger for the first time instead of usual one (its late and the 2 closest to my home in Whitehall and Bexley are terrible). I ended up going through my extensive list that my wife prepared and had a full cart. When I got to check out, only self checkout was open.. I had resigned myself to 20 min of checking out.. slowly scanning items and trying my best to bag a large amount of groceries in a limited space. There were 2 employees at the front area helping the self checkout (Josh and Sam). Out of nowhere I was approached by Josh, and he offered to check me out at a Regular register. Im 47 and this was one of the nicest single things to happen to me in a grocery store . Then to Top it off Sam spotted me and before Josh could say something he ALSO offered to have me checked out at a Register. I was so Grateful. I will be making the extra 10 minute drive to this store from now on.. This was a clean, well stocked store, with exceptional employees. THANK YOU JOSH AND SAM!
This is without question the worst Kroger I have ever been to. The store was clean, and looked nice, but that doesnt really matter when you cant check out. I went to the pharmacy and was told it would be 25 minutes. I did some shopping, and when I returned to the Pharmacy 35 minutes later. They didnt have one of the items in stock, and the other prescription still wasnt ready. When I went to check out, there was not a single cashier working. I stood there dumbfounded. Who on earth would run a grocery store where you cant buy groceries.Worst Kroger Ever!
This is the Kroger that we visit most often. It represents the quality and massive selection that we have come to expect from most Krogers in this area!Management seems to work hard to keep the shelves stocked with available items, and to keep the store clean and orderly.
Small town charm with big town selection!! Friendly store and pharmacy, the pharmacy manager, Sesame, was able to get a prescription for my elderly mom paid for thru a program that her local Kroger could not. The night u-scan attendant, Carolyn is always helpful even late at night.
Very convenient. Love the weekend deals & 5 for $5 sales. AND the 2X-4X bonus points offers. HOWEVER, my visit in 4/17 was not so pleasant. I bought a $20 Krogers Gift Card. A Few Things IDK about Kroger GCs...you can not get fuel pts; if you want to use the card in the same visit, you have to wait 10-15 mins after purchase. Being it was 730P, after work & being tired, having a very young clerk telling me (not exactly the best way) my options was TOO MUCH...I told the young clerk to stop talking to me & I was get more irritated the more explaining. Understanding all my options was enuff to be irritated, but having told to me as if I was thinking to walk away with the groceries without paying for them or Krogers doesnt give out free grocers, use another payment, or wait another 10 mins...I walked to service desk recd great help there...walked back to my self-check out to what I thought was my suspended transaction, it was voided. BUT good news, another clerk was there, plus the security guard & CS supervisor, all apologized for my experience. Young clerk could use training for how to explain Bad News to irritated customers. I still dont like or agree with the Kroger gift card process/policy AGAIN, BUT I know what to expect...knowledge is power!
I was enjoying click list until I had a bad experience, the clicklist employee started helping one of his coworkers after loading my car but he left his cart behind me so I had to ask him to move it and he didnt move it far enough and it scratched my car. I filled out the survey they send after you get your order and the next day the store manager called I told her my husband was out of town but I wanted him to look at scratch because I was pretty sure he could just buff it out. Well I tried to call her back and left my name and number she never called me back. I went from using click list 1 to 2 times a week to not using it at all. If I do start using it again I will not be going back to that kroger.
The pharmacy has gone downhill rapidly. Waited in line 25 minutes when they had a couple other people who couldve staffed the other register. This isnt the first time, either. The employee who got my prescription didnt apologize at all for the delay. Plan to take my business to the GE across the street, at least in terms of prescriptions. The Pharmacist better figure it out soon or more people will most likely follow suit.
The store looked like it was hit for a blizzard. Hardly any meat out. And some of it looked like it shouldnt be out. The seafood and meat department had a sign saying it was open til 9, I was there at 817 and tried to purchase raw shrimp. They would not serve me because they said it was closed. The checkout person was nice, though. Then when leaving the same employee who wouldnt wait on me rushed to his loud car in space number 2 by the store and then sped through the lot as children were walking through the parking lot. If it wasnt for the specific food item that is only sold at Kroger, I would not shop here. Has gone very downhill.
This is one of the Kroger Marketplaces, aka a giant Kroger. They have everything short of furniture and technology. The market area has tons of great deli meats, cheese, and seafood and you can watch it all being made and put out if youre there at the right time. Being so big, it is a busier Kroger, but it still has the atmosphere of a Kroger. This is definitely the best Kroger in Reynoldsburg.
Had a couple teenage shoppers skip right in front of me after waiting forever in line and the cashier just laughed and still checked them out! I got upset saying did you not just see them skip me?, and another clerk says how about that. as if its no big deal. Got the manager out to express my anger, and he says the store policy is to DO NOTHING when shoppers skip the line as it could escalate to a fight. So there you go, people. Now you know you can skip the lines at this Kroger or someone can skip you, and they will DO NOTHING. Unreal. If I were a 6ft tall muscular guy, I doubt they would have treated me so poorly. Customer service is trash. Avoid.
Everytime i come here it gets worse. Theres never any carts inside no one goes out to get them hardly ever. The pharmacy doesnt refill my prescriptions on time even when they tell me a pick up time i always go in and they give me a date 2 or 3 days later. This krogers just keeps getting worse and worse. Im about to start shopping at giant eagle.
Clicklist = Quitlist. Im officially not a Kroger fan or customer any longer. After a visit today and multiple rude encounters with the Clicklist cart Im taking my business elsewhere. The little man running the Clicklist cart was in a hurry, cut me off in one aisle, and hurried me out of the way in another. No excuse me, or can I please get by, or how goes it. Just a rude Clicklist guy obviously in a hurry to fill orders. Kroger needs to figure out a better plan for Clicklist or they will lose more and more customers. Shopping is already hectic, and there simply is not excuse for the type of behavior I encountered today. Goodbye Kroger, hello Meijer, Giant Eagle, Marcs, Whole Foods, Fresh Thyme, Costco, Walmart, Trader Joes, Aldi... Plenty of alternatives, so not a big deal to make the switch.
This Kroger has an awesome selection but this gross guy is riding the bus wearing a Kroger uniform and apron his nametag says John he has dark blonde hair and this gross guy keeps picking and rubbing his nose and biting his nails. Lets just hope he isnt this vile at work... Though his nose matter is most certainly now on his apron 😷 no offense to nail biters but anyone who would publicly pick their nose has serious issues.
This has been my grocery store of choice for 17 years. The 24 hour pharmacy is a big bonus, but the recent addition of Clicklist with curbside pick up is a definite win! The only thing that would make me happier is if Kroger brought back Peapod, their home delivery service!
I always have mixed emotions about Krogers. I grew up with it, and always know that they have great deals and most of the time I can depend on them to have wjat I need when some other place doesnt have it. I give it a 4 for the fact that they have tons of great deals, the convience of having a Starbucks (some of them), deli, seafood, furniture, Minute Clinic and etc. leaves me feeling great to enjoy their business.Sadly, that last star is lost because I drank the Krogers coolaid a couple more times that often and the overall factor is the price of what I pay. With all of the e-coupons, paper coupons, and discounts, I have seen that I pay two times the price here than afew other places that I could reccomend.
Horrible pharmacy experience here!! Staff is very rude.. Son was very sick, took him to children’s urgent care & they sent prescription here unfortunately.. The pharmacist rudely told me it’s normally 3 hour wait.. This isn’t a chronic condition , my 1 yr old son has an infection so it’s not as if we could plan in advance for this prescription.. This store is also very dirty!!
Dominique helped me out to my car and put my things in fast and efficiently. I then told dominique she reminded me of my daughter. I began to tear up because I lost my daughter a few years ago in a tragic accident. Dominique gave me a hug and reinsured everything would be okay and told me I can come and see her anytime I need a shoulder to lean on. I appreciate that and needed it!
This is the best Krogers in Columbus even though its in Pataskala because my parents live here I love this Krogers theyre very friendly and like I said the pharmacys amazing and I love this election and theyre just great theyre like the other day I was like literally 2 minutes late for the money part and they still help me and let me send my money order so I absolutely recommend this Krogers

2022-07-21How can I rate this store under 1 star? Tried to order sushi for a party found out that 1 they dont take orders...2 youre expected to wait while they make your order even if you need 20 packages...no time amount given and then at the end of the conversation you need to just grab what they got out of the display so no seems to be the answer if you need things for parties that are days out. Im glad I didnt wait til the last minute so I can go somewhere else.

2022-06-08Theres a guy who runs the self checkouts, pretty sure his name is Michael, He is such a friendly person and makes my kiddo laugh every time we come through. He is the main reason we come to the store anymore. Hard to find employees who genuinely care and Michael is one of them.

2022-07-21They never have the things I need. They keep changing their store hours at random. Dealing with with this Kroger has become such an inconvenience that I have opted to frequent the Kroger in Gahanna and avoid the one closest to home.

2022-01-26Michael who im seeing works often, normally runs the self check out late at night and he is such a friendly employee! You can tell he genuinely cares for others, sanitizes the self-check out scans often and when I bring my son in he helps to distract him for me while im scanning my groceries by making him laugh. He is such an asset for this store, I love coming here knowing I will see him!

2022-03-02They are typically out of a lot of items (especially now because of the shortage). I have done online pick up here a couple times. The staff is very nice and do a great job picking out produce for your online pick up order.

2022-02-17The employees are never happy there always grumpy or rude. Its very unwelcoming to feel like ur bothering them by asking where something is they all seem to just want left alone. They all just need hugs I think. 🤗
