Kroger in other cities:
Nice Kroger with a great selection of goods. Parking can be a little bit of a headache due to the layout of the lot and can be a little dangerous as well.Drive slow and watch out for pedestrians and Kroger employees criss-crossing. Staff is very friendly and helpful as with most Kroger locations. This is NOT a Marketplace. It also does NOT have a separate wine/beer cellar.
Recently hired manager “DeDe” has been little to no help almost every time I have come in. Took 15 minutes for her to get to the front desk so I could exchange my propane for a new one. Seemed unhappy and I will not be returning for some time. Perhaps a new job would suite her well
Clicklist parking is at the back dock, not accessible from main parking lot. There is an appalling lack of signage to indicate this. It was not mentioned in the confirmation emails. I waited over 5 minutes at the customer service desk before someone appeared and I could ask about parking. Plenty of signs advertising delivery & pickup, but nowhere did it explain where. Even though this is the closest Kroger to me, I will not return
I stopped in for the first time and will never go back! The cashiers were rude and I didnt get a receipt and I wrote a check and they didnt show me the check or have me sign it. The bagger just leaned over thr counter and threw my stuff in the cart. He left things out that I just laid in my cart to get out of there. The only department that was friendly was the deli department. I have shopped at kroger for more than 20 years and that is the worst shopping experience ever!!
In the grand scheme of grocery stores, this grocery store is fine. But when you take a step back and realize were in Krogers HQ area, one might expect something a little more awesome, prototypical, different - like some of the amazing ones Ive seen in the Atlanta area. This Kroger, however, its basic. It provides what you need for the most part, but still significantly lacks brand diversity found another large grocers. Some reference points for aspirational grocery experiences are Wegmans, Kings, and Publix flagship stores.
A woman had a bag break and broken glass and liquid was everywhere (at the cash registers)... It seemed to take forever for an employee to come and help. It took me and another shopper cleaning up the mess initially just to make it safe. Cashiers generally have an unfriendly demeanor.
Its OK, its a Kroger. Kroger discontinues brand stock every week as it expands shelf space for their own, growing, various items manufactured for their stores. I am disappointed almost every time I choose to shop at Kroger. Its not a pleasure like it used to be. Fortunately competition is happy to try suggestions to carry stock that Kroger discontinued. Additionally the items they try to clone and dress in their Kroger brand labels, though usually cheaper, are never as good as the original brand name products.Ho-hum.
USUALLY I like this location. However today I was asked to leave by the store manager Mike Meadows. I was trying to take advantage of the 5 for 5 Mega Event Sale. Buy 5 Tide Pods and receive an additional $5 off. I had 5 Tide Pods and 1 body wash. Mr. Meadows followed me and my companion to the checkout and said we were not going to clear his store out. Refused to accept my 5 coupons and told me to leave. The shelves were stocked AND you have to buy 5 to get the addition $5 off to take advantage of the deal Kroger is advertising. I felt singled out, and disrepected with the way he dismissed me like my money was not good at HIS store.
I was there as an Instacart shopper, and since the app was telling me wrong aisles for different things, and so I went up to this one worker who was in meat department wearing her blue polo shirt hair net, and name tag, and I started que her where the Psst...assorted jello was, and she told me that she couldnt help me because she was shopping. Really, she couldnt at least just point in the general direction. Also, if you are off the clock, maybe at least take your nametag and hairnet so people dont keep coming up to you.
The manager physically threatened me in retaliation for reporting the pharmacist to the state pharmacy board. The pharmacists violated my privacy, I reported them to corporate and the state. Their names are Sue Crane and Amy Phillips. Do not, under any circumstances, allow these people to access your medical history. Sue Crane called me several times on the phone today to issue death threats against me. I have an emergency protective order against her and the stores manager. These people are psychopaths.
Absolutely the best kroger bar none, not perfect rather shop there than any where,,theres rick on the new Clicklist, what a helper he is, the whole frontend good workers best deli service anywhere, not perfect ,happy customers everyone is so help full and the store and there bathrooms are clean good job madeira, and theres better management today than before,
So my step daughter worked here and they fired her for her mental state she was having a bad day one day so on her break she went to the restroom and cried after her break she pulled it together and went back to work she goes to work a couple days later they pull her in the office and told her they had to let her go because she needs to work on herself which is very illegal yet when they hired her they acted as if they wanted to help people like her they hired her knowing she had these problems

2019-09-25Excellent service from staff. I believe the employees name was Weston. He noticed me looking around in the produce section and asked if I needed anything. I asked if the asparagus was gone and he apologized for there not being any out, saying he would be right back. In less than a minute he was back with a cart of asparagus and other produce. This is a great Kroger with wonderful employees.

2022-03-20Avoid if you can. Horrible pickup experience. Followed all directions only to finally be told after 25 minutes that our order was misplaced. Went into the store to try to resolve with the store manager- who refused any help.

2021-02-28Vary disappointed I came in at 10.55 and the guy there say we are closed when they close at 11 witch is also wrong on there web site witch said midnight. The guy there whose name was John said you need to leave we are closed. This is unacceptable since the time was not 11pm and i had my things in the cart. for sure a negative experience. The doors where also open and they had people inside looks like he just did not want to wait. Fix your issues kroger I dont leave negative reviews but this is just crazy

2022-04-01This store continues to disappoint especially the pharmacy. Very slow staff. Long wait even though there were not a lot of customers. Extremely poor customer service skills.

2020-10-25I was in my local Madeira Kroger today at 1230 on Sunday. We were treated to a middle age woman marching around not wearing a mask. Please enforce the mask requirement or I will shop elsewhere. There were several children in the store and a woman who had recently completed chemotherapy. Seniors in their eighties wore a mask. This is unacceptable in a global pandemic. Please put your workers and shoppers Heath before the interests of these crazy pandemic deniers.

2020-07-02They made my EIGHTY-SEVEN year old mother-in-law bag her own groceries yesterday afternoon! After the cashier scanned all her groceries she had to bag it all by herself. No one raised a finger to help and there was a line of people waiting. We’re going to take turns picking her up from now on and taking her to Aldi’s!!

2013-07-22I love this Kroger. A lot of great produce, and a great selection of specialty items. The cheese counter, fresh sushi, and customer request are are some of my favorite spots. The eat-in deli area is beautiful, and the service has always been really good. My biggest issue with the store is that it is a cell phone reception dead spot.

2016-10-10Where to start... Consistently the slowest employees of any Kroger Ive been to. Deli orders that take 20 min to fill with 4 people in the deli and almost no customers. Over half the checkout lanes are self service. Parking lot is an absolute mess. Kroger of last resort. Even the location in Mariemont is better.

2016-12-28Terrible help from the manger. No attempt at providing customer service or satisfaction. Stock is worst of all stores and no attempts to improve items that are requested. They are a basic store with slow service and no assistance from the managerial help. Michael Meadows has told me he does a good job and I could complain away, it didnt matter.
