Kroger in other cities:
Angela was my cashier and Denise my bagger! They were so kind and introduced themselves right away. It can’t be easy being an essential worker during these hard times and they really made me feel welcome! I appreciated their positivity and good manners when I’m sure they’d rather be home on a Saturday. Please give these amazing ladies a raise! Thank you both for a wonderful customer experience. What you do matters :)
The Pharmacist was rude and unprofessional. I waited over 30 minutes for an OTC prescription to be filled so that my insurance would pay for it, but then they refused to fill it saying it wasn’t covered under my insurance. The pharmacist criticized the dosing the doctor prescribed to me, the patient, as if I had something to do with it. It was highly unprofessional. That criticism should be between him and the doctor, and since he didn’t bother filling the prescription anyway I found it especially unhelpful. Don’t waste your time here.
Perfect size grocery for the community. Nice selection of produce. You can have them season your fresh seafood for free. Nice wine selection with tastings on certain days. I particularly like the music man that comes in and plays his instrument every once in a while. The people are friendly and helpful.
The selection and prices are great, I can always find what I need here. But what makes trips here so amazing to me is a guy that makes the sushi. He is such a sweetheart and so helpful. He has a beautiful kind spirit. His kindness amazes me and his sushi making skills are excellent
Generally well stocked, but since it’s a popular store in the local area, hot-commodity items are occasionally hard to get. Thankfully they are usually good about giving rain checks for sale items and restocking quickly.Produce is almost always fresh. The exceptions are on items that aren’t in season close by, and those are usually still good enough for a meal in the next few days.Meat is a little smaller than other area grocery stores, but the product is almost always fresh and lean. The deli is a little difficult to figure out. Their sliced meats and cheeses are kept in a cooler within the employees’ area and not well labeled. Boar’s Head has dominated the better-priced Private Selection (store) label to a point where a deli clerk told me she had to offer Boar’s Head over any other variety, unless specifically asked. The sushi counter is staffed by a wonderful man who makes excellent rolls to your liking. The bakery has a wonderful assortment of cookies and cakes pre-made, but is a little light on rolls and other breads.Frozen and fresh grocery departments are sometimes hard to find what you want since the store is so popular.Dairy has a nice selection of alternative products for people who need them.Cashiers are mostly friendly, but rushed. There are not usually enough cashiers or baggers after about 3pm so if you like bagging your own groceries, go then. I even heard one of the cashiers saying they had been told to cut back on hours for the entire checkout. This store has a Kroger gas station, so you can finally use the points they give you at someplace other than Shell, but the pumps are difficult to figure out at first. At least the staff there are friendly enough, although the skeleton was a little strange...
Probably the best Kroger to go to in the Bellbrook Centerville Kettering area. Nice employees and also a nice store manager. Just really finished a remodel in here so it looks good just like the customer service is good. Will continue to drive to Kroger over any others.
Love the store and shop regularly. I stopped eating their donuts because they didnt rotate them and tasted stale when brought home. Today I noticed they stopped carrying Aunt Millies light whole grain bread only 35 calories per slice and 3 to 1 ratio of grams of carbohydrates to grams of dietary fiber(very healthy). It was replaced with bread with a 16 to 1 ratio(unhealthy). I had to drive to Aldi to find a healthy bread with a 5 to 1 ratio carbohydrates to dietary fiber and under 2.00 in price( 55 cal/slice).
I always go in for the great sushi, and Aung is the nicest and most helpful employee I have ever seen! He is always friendly, and he makes my spicy crab roll just the way I like it, nice and spicy. Aung alone makes the choice so much easier to go to Kroger for sushi, instead of the other places in the area. Keep up the great work!
I have always shopped at the Whipp Rd location as it was small, friendly employees, quick inout and close to home. We stop here at this location whenever we are in the area. Now I plan on making this my home store. After visiting the new Feedwire store, I would much rather patronize this store. Though larger than the Whipp Rd location, it is not overwhelmingly huge like the Feedwire store. Also, the layout is much more user friendly. And the employees seem very nice too. I only hope that this store will not be affected by the new store and end up closing too.
Constantly have empty shelves of products I want. Ex. Frozen bread dough, thin ham slices, Sheba cat food varieties, cube steak, if they have them, hard to find. In the past have had hard time finding butter, eggs, tator tots & OJ as well as distilled water. & 2% milk. Always have the excuse the truck hasnt arrived. Maybe Kroger needs to fix their distribution system.

2022-05-02Really kroger? 2 checkouts on a Saturday morning. Despite record profits kroger wants you to check out your own groceries so they can save a fee dollars. They have lost their way and have allowed corporate greed to blind them. Sometime what looks good on paper is in reality working against you. Also there plastic bags which I found out are now made in house are complete garbage. I have included pictures. Had to throw about half the bags away or triple bag to keep my groceries from falling out.

2022-04-20Young management. ? They need to know how to keep a good loyal customer happy. Let me walk out mad over $15 digital coupon, ridiculous. Spend hundreds and hundreds here every month. Some of the people here need to go to a class on customer service. Not saying I was right or they were right but, interpretation of a way an ad is worded can lead to confusion. She did not handle it in the way I expected.

2022-06-16My wife and I have been shopping here for almost a year. Seldom is there ever someone actually manning the meat/seafood. We will be shopping at the Kroger down the road. May as well shut this one down.

2022-05-26This location is nasty. I was getting parmesan cheese and thank god I checked it. It was COVERED in fuzzy mold. I took it to a cashier and told them it’s covered in fuzzy mold and they threw it away. But lately a lot of things here are moldy and old. Recently I bought mushrooms and that night I was cooking them with my dinner and they were moldy, slimey, and old. Not only that but just a couple days ago I went to get some blueberries while I was out shopping at Kroger and they were ALL sprouting and old. ALL OF THEM. This was right after they’ve been sold out of blueberries and strawberries for a few days. They’ve been sold out of 99% of ice cream too for many days. They’ve also been sold out of zucchini, squash, and bell peppers and nearly sold out if avocados and the ones that were there were mooshy and old. Not saying being sold out is their fault but don’t waste your time trying to shop here.

2022-07-19The app is not the most intuitive. Could make it more user friendly - not have to sort through 6 different categories to find coupons.

2022-04-01Always check your dates and prices they get it wrong a lot. Make sure they dont give you someone elses groceries.4 years later they are still ripping off customers with expired shelf stickers and the employees & managers do not care. This sticker expired 3/8/2022 it was still on the item 3/23/22 plus there was a 30 cent increase in the regular price $3.59 now.

2022-01-15Locking up the Caroline cart is as good as saying disabled people aren’t welcome. At least not the ones that require the cart. Such as children and adults who are flight risks. Making exhausted caregivers hunt down an employee for a key with a disabled person in tow is asinine. I don’t care if you did it because people were abusing it. Disabled people and their families suffer enough. We don’t need to have to stand in a customer service line and hope that person knows where the key is (half of them never do), hope someone is even at the desk at all while we hang in to our disabled person for dear life. WTH, Kroger?

2021-10-31I had such a great experience at the deli. The manager (I think her name is dynasty) was absolutely amazing. She has a great attitude and is so fast. I hope I have her every time I instacart there. Thank you 😊
