Came here for memorial day with kids. Payed $30 to get in. Most of the water park was shut down for most of the day. Staff was rude! They gave no rrefunds or rain checks. Even the baby pool closed down. Therefore, ppl with small children had nothing to do whatsoever. They said it was a filtration problem, but it didnt stop them from collecting money at the door Horrible experience for memorial day!
We had so much fun here today!!!! Its never been really crowded. The staff and the people that come here are very friendly and respectful of others. The concession stand has reasonable prices and good snacks. The two big water slides are a lot of fun. I wish the lazy river was a little longer but still no complaints. Everyone had big smiles on their faces. For a calm laid back day and good clean fun I do suggest this place. Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday are for huber heights residents only. They stay open for a good amount of time. If you are not a resident on the days that you can come you cant get in until 1. But 1-8 is still a great deal of time to have fun. Check it out. They even have a diving board at one of the pools. The kids splash pad looks like a lot of fun. There are things to do for everyone!!!!!
This place was nice, decently clean ,friendly staff, fair price. The activity pool was closed, bummer , made the other 1 really crowded. Tried swimming in it anyway but.....I have never been scolded or whistled at as much as I have here, including as a child. No splashing, dancing, spinning, piggy back rides in the pool. No swimming laps, no jumping, no games, seemingly no fun at all.... I know they are worried about safety but Im an adult. The only thing they was acceptable standing looking at each other in the water. Kinda took some of the joy out of it.
We went on a day they were having Huber residents only and we were not residents so they weren’t going to let us in even though they closed in an hour and they weren’t busy! Charged us full price for an hour and said next time we wouldn’t be allowed! Come to Eaton Ohio pool we’ll let you in! No residential days!!
I came to your facility today to celebrate my son turning 6 and after checking the website it says your open. I come with a car full of kids and your closed! Imagine the disappoint on my kids when i had to tell them we had to go home because it was too late to go somewhere else. This was my first and last time coming.
We went for my nephews birthday. I live in Cincinnati, my sister and her family live up there. I had a ton of fun. The life guards were awesome and reacted quickly when something went wrong. Theres the wading pool, which my two older nephews loved. Then the baby pool, which my youngest nephew (2) got his first taste of a big pool. I didnt go in the deeper pool. It looked like the teenager hot spot and was relatively small. The lazy river was a nice break from screaming kids since we went during adult time. The slides were great even though I had less than graceful landings. 😂 The only negative thing were the bathrooms. People standing on the seats (foot prints), obvious hovering without cleaning up their mess, and they were stinky. We got there right at open, so youd think theyd be clean. Id love to go back with my nephews and maybe take my 16yo with me since he didnt get to go this time. Great place for families!
If you are thinking of visiting this place, dont do it !!! They will steal your money, they will take you out saying that they will open again and they never open it, nor will they refund your money even if you are only here for a minute. My husband and I were here only paid we went in we had not touched the water yet and they took out all the people claiming that they would open again they never did we waited more than two hours in the sun with our 3 year old daughter,. If you love your children, do not take them there or you will regret it because the employees only tell you that they have to leave but they do not give you explanations and while people wait outside they are inside the fence smiling and eating making fun of you in your face! and they dont refund your money. My daughter returned very sad and I saw many children crying and many parents frustrated and disappointed just like us !! WE WILL NEVER RETURN
I loved the center, the rules were little strict and even if understandable Kettering is easier with multiple kids. It was a wonderful day though and worth it all. Just wish if kids are over 4ft be able to be out of my reach for even few as long as they are being watched.
I wasnt sure how the pandemic affected them, so I called the day before and was told everything will be open, only to find out the lazy river and splash pad were both closed all day, and they closed the main kiddie pool while we were there. No discount, so we paid full price to go down a waterside a few times. We were told they had to close things because they were short on lifeguards, but we watched 4 lifeguards sitting in front of the empty kiddie pool doing nothing after they closed it.
The entrance staff are nice fee Is nice for a middle income family place is fun. The place is probably the biggest in probably 100 miles huge slide that Is so fun and steep I almost believe it (would not recommend to light-hearted ). From my memory they give you strip of color around your wrist red is for 3-4 your only aloud to only swim in the main area and the kids area 5-7 have yellow there allowed to go on the lazy river, slides 8-13 are allowed to everything besides the diving board which they need to learn to use. It 13+ are allowed to everything. Correct me if Im wrong
They have a smaller maximum capacity because of covid. When we got there, they were at maximum capacity with an anticipated 2 hr wait. I understand their need to do this but wish I had known ahead of time. I had kids in swimsuits crying because they couldnt understand why the kids inside the fence got to swim and they didnt. I looked on the website to see admission prices and opening times. I really wish they had put a notice there. It wouldve saved me and a lot of other people a lot of trouble.
When the original pool in Huber Heights closed down, I was extremely skeptical of a new water park as the term was vague enough to mean anything from something as big as Zoombezi Bay to something as small as a couple of sprinklers. My initial concern was that the park would offer very little while the pool would be indoors and locked behind a family membership.I am happy to say that is not the case. The Aquatic Center Water Park provides many, many options for yourself or the family including a kiddie pool, splash zone, deep pool, diving board, water slides, lazy river, and general water play areas. Definitely worth the price of admission.
I really like this pool, but it is overcrowded with YMCA kids camps and daycare kids. There are so many! Those kids tend to be rude and loud. Makes it hard to enjoy time with very small kids, or if you actually want to swim. Go after 4pm for nice pool time. Staff seems to be very good.
They dont have enough tubes and they let people go multiple times on rides with the tube they have. We waited in line at the the tube slide for. early 30 min. People just walk back into line. Every other park I have ever been too requires you to get back I to line after every ride to be fair. Plus its dirty. The bathrooms are disgusting too.
Went there this weekend. My kids are only 6, 3, and 1.5 yrs old so we mostly had a good time. However, it was ruined at the end. There is so called adult swim at quarter til every hour. Around 4:30 I told my 6 yr old to pick one last thing to do. He chose the big slide. So he and I got in line with our tubes. He was next to be told to head up the stairs, and the whistles blew for adult swim. The lifeguard said he could not go. REALLY???? A kid just waited in line for 15 min and suddenly he cant go? I insisted this made no sense and said he should be able to go BC hes with me, just like they let the little kids swim with parents during adult swim. Lifeguard was adamant. I told her this was the last thing he had chosen before we leave. She said he could wait 15 minutes. I had to explain to my child it was time to go, and he would not be able to slide...ensue hysterical crying! This really upset me. They need to make some kind of rule any kids already in line before the whistle can still go.I was also frustrated with some of their rules. Not sure we will go back.
This place is very family friendly. The tickets sold with a very decent prices. So if you are a family with budget. Here is the place to get your kids out and have a blast of FUN. At the gate the staff will help you and answer any questions that u might have. There is swimm guards all over the place at each single area. Please plan your trip when no Thunder. They time out 30 minutes whenever there isThunder. Which means either waiting or leavening. But the great thing you can still have your valid tickets while this might happen. Look for sunny days is best 🌞 🌞 🌞 ENJOY
Went to take the kids here for the first time waiting in parking lot for 30m until 12 to go in and the lady came out and said “Um you know we don’t take non residents until 1”No we didn’t because no where on the website does it state this. Really bad communication and customer service.
Waited in the sun for two hours to get in with my daughter. Once we were close to the front they closed the gate and wouldn’t allow anyone else in. Did not do anything for the ones who had already been waiting in line for hours. The pool was already at max capacity and they were letting people in as others left. They could have at least continued to do this for those that had already waited hours. Day wasted and my daughter is crying and confused why she can’t swim now. Absolutely terrible customer service.
My daughter and I frequent this place often as its near our home. We generally enjoy swimming there and the life guards are well trained. It would be nice if the behavior of the teenagers was addressed a little better. In addition, the womens restroom is always in need of repair and cleaning.
It has two slides, a kiddie area with mini slides and little pool area, then you have a super mini deeper pool. Given that, are you willing to pay 8 for adult and 7 for a kid to be in a very packed out zoo of people? My family left after one trip around lazy river due to not being able to do much. We went to New Carlisle pool where we could swim freely and have more open water. By the way, some kid pooped in the water when we got there and they did a decent job cleaning it.
Variety available for all those in your family from toddlers (zero entry play zone) to adults (slides and lazy river). Staff is organized and courteous. Concession prices reasonable. Suggest going right at opening and enjoying the first 2 hours before the rush hits and it gets overcrowded.
Havent been here in a few seasons, a lot has changed. Not sure if they stopped using chlorine but the water smelled and tasted, yes by accident, horrible. We all had fun but they shutdown the diving board which was kinda disappointing for me. They only offer discounts for residents, where some offer them for residents and workers.
We drove 40 minutes to get there on 8/1/21.Got there and was told only Huber Heights residents could get in.If thats the case they need to put that in their website so people dont waste time going there. We left along with 3 other cars of people who were turned away.Won’t be back.
Everything is great, but, the slides. I understand having a 15 minute break from swimming in the pool, for kids to rest, but not from the slides. My son waited in line for almost an hour to go down the slide, and then it was the 15 minute kids break, when it was his turn. During this time they allowed adults that were in line behind him, and some other kids that were waiting, to go in front of them. I feel that is rude and that rule should change. If kids wait in line, then they should be allowed to go down the slide when it is their turn.
Overall, a decent water park. Super strict, kinda stressful strict. Poor bathroom maintenance, high price admission kids who are 3-8 And cant even do the lazy river and water slide, or diving board. Had I known that I would have spent my money at a park more suitable for elementary age. You will pay the same price for a 3 yr old who can only do a portion of the stuff, as a 12 yr old. But I can imagine this is good for families with kids 7 and up.
Staff very unfriendly, was closed due to storms in the area for 2 hours. No storms within 15 miles per the radar. When they finally did open up again - they closed less than an hour later for more storms only this time North of Greenville - over 20 miles away. No refunds at all, no offer of a rain check, were completely out of the $30 entry fee. Between rude staff and ludicrous policies for weather, this is the worst water park based on value and service.
I live less than 2 miles away from the Huber Aquatic Center, and paid the extra $100 to get our family pool pass in Tipp. Lifeguards blow their whistles too much. Too many rules. My kids couldnt just run around and be kids. I get the rules and why they do it, but its not for me and my family. Looks nice though.
I think their policy for rain/thunder is a bit much, however, the lifeguards here are amazing! While there a kid puked in the wave pool area and the lifeguards immediately got everyone out of that area. Then not 2 seconds later someone within my family had a seizure and the lifeguards IMMEDIATELY spotted the issue and jumped into action. AMAZING lifeguards!
Too many dumb rules to try to make it safe. It is really unsafe to me. Felt like I was in a country ran by a dictator. Lifeguards not really paying attention. Pools are to have fun in the sun. Not so many rules where you feel like you can only stand still in the water
This water park was clean. Kids didnt like wearing necklace , but its a good way to know what level swimmer they are. Adult swim really wasnt adult swim. Kids took swim tests and no laps, as they keep rope up. No deep end, unless using diving board. That pool also needs to be largeer.
We had so much fun we had a small issue with staff not understanding my 9 yr old is autistic and the guard didnt care and was very rude to him he is short for his age and we were in the baby pool area there was nobody else in there but me and my friend with our kids and the guard made my son sit to the side not understanding that he is autistic i explained to him and he didnt care he continued to blow his whistle at him while he sat beside his dad trying to calm down from the first whistle blow. Because he was sitting on the yellow line not behind it.
This place is horrible , lifeguards are very rude. Adult swim came, there was many underaged teens still remaining in the pool, we talked to the lifeguards about it and they did not even consider talking to them they just laughed in our faces . They do not enforce their own rules and they do not pay much attention to what is going on in the pool. Do not waste your money .
My boyfriend and I drove nearly 30-minutes with our 6 month old son to this waterpark for his first experience swimming. Upon arrival we were told by the front desk clerks that his floatation device was not United States Coast Guard approved and that it could POP! Okay, we could deal with that. Then, they proceeded to tell us that the baby pool was closed, on a busy Sunday nonetheless. Okay....fine. We then asked what the admission cost was for us and they wanted charge us full price for two adults ($17) even though we would just be sitting at the edge of the pool with our son. It is pretty ridiculous that they couldnt just charge us for just one adult since all of our other options were either unallowed or closed. We left because we could not see the $17 value in sitting on the edge of a very busy child/adult pool as opposed to a safer baby pool. We will not be returning anytime soon.
Fun place with varying rules by the minute! With each trip to the slides the rules changed....no sunglasses, yes sunglasses, no sunglasses, yes sunglasses etc. etc. etc. we asked about the rules and were told that the monitors were just kids and the rules do sometimes change none posted, therefore no consistency. A little girl, old enough to be on the water slide, openly urinated on the steps, and nothing was said. We asked that someone wash it off! No monitoring that I noticed of moms and their little ones. I had to grab a boy, Id guess 3 years old, from the water and give him to his mom who was out of the pool, while he tried to hang on to the side of the pool! The safety necklace is a great idea but no one watches the parents. I noticed that people bring food in, they dont watch. Smoke in the parking lot by the building...they dont watch! The bottom line...you and your little ones are on your own.
Horrible place to visit. Trash and smell everywhere. Life gaurds look bored or to scared to tell adults and kids off when they are doing some thing wrong. They dont enforce their own rules. My daughter has a scrap and a bruise because the life gaurds didnt stop the teenagers from staying off the smaller kids stuff. Will never go back
The pool is at capacity and they have their biggest pool closed, they keep opening and closing the pool. Its ridiculous paid 40 and kids cant swim in the deep pool bc there is soo many people in it, you cant move. I have the life guard at the lazy river telling me how I have to be on the tube with my kid smh. Pissed I spent all this money and the kids barely can swim. Never again will I come to this place! Not worth the money
I do love this place, but I am irritated that their posted hours are not accurate. We planned a trip to the park with the intent to leave at 8pm. The manager politely let us know they actually close at 7:45pm and offered me a discount. The complaint I have is not with the service or manager. It is that hours are not accurately posted on the website. The manager was not sure who keeps the website posted, but this is an unnecessary inconvenience.
Very stricked rules. Overly priced for membership. Charge 70 bucks more for non residents even if part of your property is in huber and taxes paid for that town. Kids 6-10 that can swim but not ready for deep water have to have a parent right beside them at all times which makes it difficult for kids or parents to have fun. The lifeguards are getting paid to watch kids swim and they blow the whistle so much you dont know if its break or someone drowning. Im from Newark Ohio and just moved here. Im also a Kroger employee and Ymca member and I was surprised there was no discount granted for that being a Kroger water park employed by the Y. Heath water park in Licking county is way bigger and more organized. I feel like Im an adult being babysat by the staff there. Every time my 7 year old gets a little ahead of me, they blow the whistle as if Im going to let anything happen. Id get to her before lifeguards. If I would have known the stricked rules and disorganization there before buying a membership for 9 people, I would have not of purchased them.
This water park was so much fun when I went it doesnt cost much to get in children 2 and under get in for free other than that youre not looking to pay any much more than 5 to $6 but it is worth it I mean incredible they make you feel safe lifeguards are always on duty on watch never slacking always paying attention not only that other parents are looking out for other children as well just a great place to go nice atmosphere it be hot on days and it cools you down everyones having a good time everyone loves to interact with each other children as well its just great I love taking my children in my nieces and nephews there they always ask me to go and I dont ever have a problem with going
Update :happened on fathers day .My 4yr old toddler got punched in the face by 8yr old boy my wife told that kid not to hit our kid ...wife told Lifeguard but I dont think anything got done .other kid drowned that day and had EMS come there. There was to many ppl for the Lifeguards to watch and your safety is not 100%Like other pools I dont think we will be returning and they made a new rule now is 30min out everyone out ...then the place my toddler like s to play was shut down for awhile then it opened back up after a 1hour only to close again I was done we left I almost asked for my money back but Im not going to fight that .
I keep hearing people say it should be cheaper for residents of the Huber heights area, do you guys not realize this is designed by Kroger, not Huber heights this is for the community ... everyone not just Huber heights , and no just cause you live in the area , doesnt mean you should get to pay a lower price. Wonderful place for everyone , lots of water , slides and fun ,prices are not to bad , unless you have a large family, perfect for couples to go enjoy the lazy river. Its great , dont mind the people that think you shouldnt be there , or deserve more than what everyone else get , these people are stuck ups, just cause they live in the area doesnt mean they get special privileges, hahahahahhahah ,, whats next , cause we live in Huber we should be the first to get tables and umbrellas GTFOY please for the sake of everyones elses fun . Lol

2021-08-31I love taking my toddler to here! It’s the perfect size with many options for her age, with the splash pad, kiddie pool and activity center. I take my older nieces and nephews and they love the diving board and slides! What I enjoy most is just relaxing in the lazy River with my sweet girl floating with me!!

2022-06-25I want to give a big awesome shout out to the lifeguards. They were very attentive and paid such close attention to the kids. My son had a bad experience coming down the body slide and the lifeguard was right there within a split second and grabbed my son and held him till I could get to him. I want to thank him for basically saving my sons life. We are so appreciative of his life saving skills. You guys rock at having the best lifeguards ever. Thank you so much

2022-07-03I love this water park. Even though my son doesnt go anymore cause hes too old. Me an wife still go an had great time. Adult swim is 15 min of every hr so we get quiet time from all the chaos. Whether u have kids or not great time all around. Reasonable food prices also at concession. Must check this place out.

2022-06-26Our family had a great time. Its family-friendly for all ages. Affordable entrance price and they have a snack bar to purchase snacks. I like that they have certain days and hours for Huber Heights residents.

2022-06-21Very upsetting that I got my 2 year old, who LOVES to swim, ready for a swim day. Drove to Huber heights and turned away because Sundays are only for Huber heights residents. I had no idea which is why I tried to call BEFORE getting him all excited but no one would answer the phone! It literally broke my heart to see my baby cry because we couldn’t swim! I’m sure my review doesn’t matter but definitely wanted to express my disappointment!

2022-06-14Haven’t even made it through the front doors and already leaving a 1 star review. Not a good look. Your website is confusing to say to the least. It is not clearly marked that non-residents cannot enter until 1pm. No matter how many times the girls at the front insist. Also, shame on management for not being out there supporting these young kids who have no idea how to deliver customer service and carry themselves. Hopefully it’s worth the hour wait

2022-06-15This place is a joke! Came for the first time to swim and am told at the door we cannot enter because we do not live in Huber heights. No where on the website or Facebook page does it mention this. It advertises PUBLIC USE! It even mentiones alternate price for non residents. Thanks for having a HUGE water park that only Huber residents can visit. I live ten minutes away and cant use. 🤦♀️ Mind you the prices for a membership would cost me the same as kings island but I was going to pay for the convenience of location. Bad business. Waste of space.

2022-06-19Wouldve been nice to know that they have a residents only pool day. We looked everywhere and there wasnt a single thing on it on the website or anything. Will literally turn you away. Wouldnt recommend even driving over on a Sunday if you dont live there.
