Kringles Inventionasium Experience in my opinion was over priced. The toys my children got to invent were pieces of plastic parts that wouldnt stay together or fit together and my youngest whos 5 got really upset about it. Be prepared to stand for a while and wait, then get rushed through each section with a group of people and then stand for awhile and wait ... Take pictures with your phone ! Avoid the long line of people trying to pick out pictures that came with their package etc. . We paid for the Deluxe Experience and once we reached the gift shop we didnt know what to do or where to go or what we were suppose to do next.Over all my 5 year old had a great time and my 11 year old was way too old~but he was a good sport about it. The decor was something to see and it made for great pictures (even with my phone) . Mr. Kringle and his staff were great! I personally think the toy inventing part should be taken out of it and they should just do a tour of Mr. Kringles shop or house.
My family had a great experience at Kringles. My son (4 years) is autistic and everyone was great with him. Mr. Kringles elves were informed about his needs and were very accommodating, patient and gentle with him. My niece (7 years old) was just amazed with the place and it made a permanent impression on her about the holidays. (She talked about making her own snow and shipping it around the globe for months!) Mr. Kringle himself was wonderful. Soft spoken, sweet and the real deal. Overall a beautiful place to visit even as an adult. Take a tour and see the magic!
We have visited with Mr. Kringle every year for at least eight years and each time it is a fantastic experience. If you are looking for a Santa experience in the Cleveland area this is far better than any mall or breakfast you will come across. My daughters are 11, 8, and 5 and they still look forward to visiting with Mr. K. each year.
In my lifetime, there has never been a more creative experience for Christmas than Kringles Inventionasium. The creators have spared nothing in putting it all together.the whole idea of going through Santas workshop is so much fun. Having actors portraying characters working there as such a fun element to the whole experience. It may be set up mainly for kids, but I know myself and many of my adult friends have so much fun each year going through it.
We loved every second of our visit! There was so much to do and every one there was amazing! It truly is a special place and it left my kids in awe! As an adult sometimes you can loose that feeling of Christmas magic but in the halls of Kringles Inventionasium its impossible not to feel it! We want to thank you for such a special night and the absolute sweetest Mr. Kringle experience Ive ever experienced. Thank you!!
Our experience was amazing yesterday and Mr. Kringle made it so special. He spoke to our daughter like he has known her all her life and it brought tears to my eyes. Afterwards she told me his breath smelled of cookies. It was hilarious to me and just made it that much more authentic. I dont know it that is done on purpose but either way, keep up the great work! The photos I received after werent right and they immediately fixed it. I cant say enough about this experience!!
It is my 6th year taking my girls to see Mr. Kringle and the Inventionasium and I have to say, its one of the most wonderful places to celebrate the magic of Christmas! The kids become the inventors and work to help Mr. Kringle come up with new ideas, then they get to see Santa and I tear up every time. He knows exactly what to say to them and us, the parents, and you can see the joy in their faces. I cant recommend this enough for your family!
Since they changed how they do things, this years visit felt crowded and rushed. My daughter said the characters didnt seem to have as much personality and i agree. Last we we did a private tour and since they raised the price a ridiculous amount we decided to do a group tour. I dont think we will be doing this again because the group tour felt to impersonal and the private tour is just way to expensive now. I wish it was a nice as last year was.
We enjoyed our second year with Mr. Kringle this past Friday, and brought along my nephew for his first experience! My experience was that the customer service before, during, and after was top notch! I purchased early (August I believe) and was entered into a raffle and won a special gift for the three kiddos (7, 4 and 2). This was unexpected and appreciated. I didnt purchase the package that included the special gift because I assumed it would be the same gift as last year. It was. The green and blue dragons are adorable and soft. The kids love them. I was afraid that theyd question why Kringle gave them the same thing they got last year, damaging the magical illusion. Thankfully they did not, but I noticed and it diminished the magic a bit for me.During the experience the chachters/actors were talented, attentive and believeable! I dont recall exact names but Mrs. Goody and the curly-haired elf were my favorites! And Mrs. Claus. And Mr. Kringle, of course! I did feel our experience was a bit crowded and rushed, as opposed to last year. I wasnt a fan of the two stations, really three that seemed to be all together; choosing pieces, constructing pieces, and getting the toy certified. Mrs. Claus had to leave in the middle of certification; bummer. Maybe Kringle could certify next time. This would likely require more time with him but it would truly be official!Mr. Kringle was great and kind and patient. The photographer was also patient with our three littles and 4 adults. I did not feel rushed and appreciated that we could also take personal photos. I would have liked the option to buy additional pieces for the toy the children created, like last year when I purchased the giant bag of colored styrofoam pieces. Perhaps this was in the store and I missed it?I did purchase an additional photo but did not receive it electronically. I emailed the Elves and the response time was within in moments. Not only did I get a response, but I was emailed several of our photos. My experience with customer service these days seems to lean more toward that the customer is a bother, long wait times or no feasible solution unless you pay additionally. This was not the case with the Elves and Kringle and I so appreciated the kindness, promptness and generosity. In a rushed world, often times colored with chaos and disregard, this experience provided an opportunity to believe and enjoy some magic - if you let yourself. Thank you for the Christmas memories, Kringle and Krew!
The Kringle workers are delightful and very engaging. Our very favorite was the ‘purple man‘ who made snow. The time period for involvement of each experiment was perfect. This is a fabulous, unique family Christmas fun time. From the Kringle workers to the ambience of each room, great imagination and color.Thank you❤️🌲
Such a magical and fun experience for kids and adults! We have been visiting Mr.Kringle and his inventionasium for a few years now and we love it! The characters are silly, all activities are hands on, and each year we have attended is different. We will continue to visit Mr. K and all of his inventors for years to come! A perfect way to get the whole family into the Christmas spirit!
We have been taking the grandchildren to see Mr. Kringle since they opened. The best way for me to describe it is Willy Wonka meets Christmas. The decorations and colors are so vibrant. There is so much to look at. The characters are wonderful. They get down to the childs level to make sure they get whats going on and get them involved in the activities. One of the girls was a little unsure of one of the characters, so our guide jumped right in to make sure she felt comfortable. They love all the activities. I think the addition this past year with the bubbles was a big favorite. Making snow is another favorite of theirs. You can tell that the people that work there all love what they are doing. Their enthusiasm and energy is definitely real. What a great alternative to standing in a mall line for 2 hours to sit on Santas lap for 15 seconds. The kids are entertained all the way to Mr. Kringles office. The best part of the whole tour is actually meeting Mr. Kringle in his office. You go in as a family, so everyone is comfortable. Mr. Kringle even sat on the floor and played with the girls while conversing with them. Mrs. Kringle was added this year also. She is so sweet and real. The girls loved her stories about the decorations. My grown up daughter was even moved by her stories.
What an amazing experience. I was pretty sure my littlest (2) would be too young, but i was so wrong. Every single detail was so organized and so magical. My girls LOVED it! And so did my husband and I. I love the imagination of it and the fun of it being downtown. What you have is soooo special and I wanted to make sure to share what an amazing time we had! Thank you for the memories.
Entering Mr. Kringles Inventionasium is like walking into a Dr. Seuss book. It is so colorful and the best part is that it is a family experience. Children and adults alike are asked to use their imaginations, be creative and play together. So much more than just a photo-op with Santa!
This is one of the best holiday experiences I have ever been to! The level of attention to details and the whimsical characters make Christmas real, both for the young and the young at heart. The Inventionasium is a tradition in our home and always heralds the start of the holiday season for us. A must-see!
I was doing some spring cleaning and I came across pictures of my family from our visit to Kringle’s Inventionasium. Seeing those pictures brought back great memories and I wanted to share that with the company. I have gone with my family to Kringle’s inventionasium every year since it opened at Tower City. Our experiences have always been positive ones. My son had a blast inventing his own toy, experimenting with making different animal sounds, playing with bubbles, and growing snow. At the end of our tour, we had a personal visit with Mr. Kringle himself! I noticed this year that Mr. Kringle handed out Kringle coloring books to the kids. This was such a great addition – my son enjoys coloring in his Kringle book all year long. As a mom, I think the tour was worth it – it’s so much more than just waiting in line to see Santa. My son got to meet different characters (our favorite is Blind!) and explore his creativity all while waiting to meet Kris Kringle. We also enjoyed the gift shop at the end – there are a lot of interesting and unique toys there that I haven’t seen anywhere else. I found the staff to be well organized, courteous, and whimsical. I also liked the reservation system for tours – in my opinion this helped to cut down on the wait time. I definitely recommend Kringle’s Inventionasium as a “must-see” Christmas event in the Cleveland area.
The elves and rooms were great, but Santa was a HUGE let down. We registered for this months ahead of time and were asked for information about each of my three children. As we walked in the room to see him he said the wrong name for My youngest son. We were able to whisper the correct name to him. He then later thought my oldest son was a girl and then called him by my younger sons name! He never brought up any of the personal information or interests of any of the kids. It was very disappointing to have to tell the kids that yes they are right there is no way that could have been the real santa. :(
My daughter and I fly from California to Chicago visit some family. We decided to all meet in Cleveland to go to Kringles. Myself, daughter (9), my mother, my sister, her boyfriend, his sister and her son (8), my nephew (16), niece (13), and nephew (6 months). we were blown away!! Our guide Blind was awesome, she kept us entertained throughout our whole tour and her outfit was something to talk about. My daughter had a blast...she danced....she sang....she said oath...she created and used her imagination. She not the only one though...i have photos of the 16 and 13 year olds clapping, dancing, and holding their hands up and reciting the oath!. We even had our own little private time with Mr. Kringle himself...like he was there just for us....my daughter loooved that! we were all sad to see it over..yes all of us. I even put on white lab coat and joined along and had a great time! When we were all done my daughter asked if we could go again! WE WILL BE BACK FOR SURE!! TOTALLY WORTH THE TRIP
The actors were Disneyworld level good, all and all it was pretty good for a seasonal attraction in Cleveland. Too bad the rest of the mall isnt doing so well.... I get long term its tough for things to survive there but youd think an outlet mall or a bunch of pop up shops would do great there at Christmas time.
Probably the worst year, yet. We have gone since you started (maybe missed the 1st year), and this year seemed rushed, had less stations, and overall was a huge disappointment. The characters were mostly nice, definitely not their fault. Last year was MUCH better. The only positive change was we like the food stand.
The experience in so unique and as an employee I was treated really well. Was a bit exhausting though, the repetitiveness and continuous talking was really hard to do especially when dealing with illness. You get a sore throat real quick if you are trying to maintain a character voice. Cough drops all the time. You gotta be very social and talkative to do this job with out getting worn out. Another thing that was a bit frustrating was that I was supposed to be given a card to allow me to park easily. The management said they were going to refund me for my parking and then they never did. This was poorly handled. I brought the issue up many times and it was never corrected and I was never provided a working card. So besides those things its a great cool experience. Take your kids. Take your mom. Take your partner. Its unique to its core!
The Mr Kringle experieance is great fun for the entire family. We did an adult couples only trip thru the inventionasium and had more fun without the short people. It was a fun evening with dinner, drinks and then the interactive production at Mr Kringle. I highly recommend going thru the inventionasium with friends. Looking forward to sharing the holiday magic again.
Beautifully decorated but this place is not what it used to be. If you take the tour the inventions are a little fun for the younger children but the tour guides (cast) are mediocre. If your taking your family to see Mr.Kringle without a tour expect a very long wait with the workers families cutting in front of you, along with very poor customer service. This place never opens at the times posted especially the Quick Snap. They will cram families together on tours that are $20 per person unless your under 2 years old, so the inventions will be rushed and so will the tour. At the end of your tour the wait for Mr.Kringle will also be long. This place is very small and these people will pack it to capacity. Expect additional fees for pictures, and dont bring a camera of your own because there is also a fee for that as well. Same on Kringles Inventionasium!
A great experience and highly recommend to do it at least once with kids!! Its a little expensive and the only downfall was there are no signs anywhere in tower city pointing you to the location of it and most of the staff at the stores did not have a clue about it. Otherwise, it was a blast and a must-do experience during the holiday season!
As i got in the car, i put the very shiny key into the hole, prompting the car to turn on. the engine purred as i proceeded to drive over the curb and drifted out of my driveway. this began our journey to Saint Nicholass Invention Place.when we got there, we saw some vomit on the sidewalk. nevertheless, we ventured into the building. when we opened the door, a feeling of pure terror filled my body, and tingled my spine. i saw santa and some elves prancing around, showing off a grim smile. nevertheless, we ventured on.after spending $300+, i looked into the empty void that was my wallet. as i looked up, i realized my kid had disappeared. i wandered around the building, shouting for my kid Jason.Jason! Jason! i shouted, with nothing but circus music playing in the background, causing my shouts to become unnoticable.as i stepped into santas funhouse, the stench became unbearable. nevertheless, i ventured on.after hours of seeing slime and mold oozing from every nook and cranney of the walls, i stopped and saw jason, sitting there smiling. i approached him, but quickly, a grim creature fell from the cieling in front of me. a santa, covered in tentacles and teeth, stopped in front of me.i grabbed the nearest candy cane, and got into a gruesome battle with the Horror of the North. in proper dark souls fashion, i dodged all of his attacks, quickly retaliating with an endless battering with the candy cane.santa fell backwards, stunned. i grabbed jason, and sprinted towards the exit, smacking away any tentacles from the elves chasing me.we left the building, jumped into the car, and sped away.the sights and smells of this place still haunts me to this day. i hope never to return.
Completely immersive and beautiful for all ages~ it takes you to another world! The characters are so quick and witty, youll leave a believer again! Im convinced theyre all clairvoyant or something....they just knew things about my group and I without even asking! I laughed so much!

2018-11-16What a wonderful time with the family! Everyone is so incredibly nice and fantastic with kids of all ages. A coat check in was a nice surprise glad we didnt have to lug around big winter jackets. Such a wonderful way to start off the holiday season with a night full of new memories.

2019-12-06Definitely a good experience. I can say the only thing that bothered me as a first timer is there was a family who goes every year so I felt like they knew what to do and say etc that took away from the experience of my and another family who had never been. Its more expensive but if you are going for the first time and dont want your and your childs experience tainted by a seasoned veteran family do the solo tour so the experience can be pure and unadulterated. Had I known this I would have paid the extra. Other than that it was really cute! And I ABSOLUTELY loved this santa. My son has only experienced 5 Santas as he is 5, but this by far was THE best santa experience by far. If anything that would be why I would go again is to see him.

2019-12-16Address for self parking lot is 801 Canal Street. Follow the signs for the shops and take the elevator up to concourse 1. From there walk past the escalators to the back of the mall and you will find it.Great experience for young ones. It takes about an hour to get through and I would definitely recommend the deluxe package. The personalized santa visit was great!

2018-12-14Amazing experience! Great cast, all around, but special points to Kris. I know there are lots of malls who have Santas Helpers to pose for pic with the kids, but -- Im telling you -- this guy is the REAL DEAL. Kris Kringle: Im on to you!!! I know youre the real Santa Claus!!! #Believer

2018-11-30I recommend the VIP experience where Mr. Kringle gets the childrens information. It was so precious... my granddaughter looked at him & asked, how do you know all that stuff! Any other Santa will seem fake to her now!?

2019-12-20What an amazing adventure! I took my 4yr old granddaughter there today, all the way from Michigan, and it was so worth it. The “elves” were so enthusiastic, entertaining and engaging. The absolute best part was Santa himself. When you purchase tickets you complete a short bio for the children with likes, names and events. He greeted my granddaughter by name, talked about her baby brothers and made her feel like he knew her personally. Her smile made tears come to my eyes. I highly recommend this experience to everyone.

2019-12-16My grandkids had a blast at the Inventionasium! They enjoyed an authentic Santa and the cast of characters were amazing. The colors and decorations are fantastic and great photo opportunities. They loved making snow and building toys. What an awesome concept and this is definitely going to be a family Christmas tradition! Well done!

2018-12-19This was a great way to spend an afternoon celebrating the Christmas season. The effort to detail and the entire experience is extraordinary. There is nothing that comes close to matching this family experience. My children still talk about how great of a time they had and already want to go again next year. The professionalism of the staff and organization were excellent. I booked everything online and when I showed up all I had to do was give them my time and last name and everything was handled. The one on one experience and interaction with Santa Clause was by far the best, it beats waiting in line at the mall to be rushed for a quick picture and a 30 seconds discussion with Santa. This is also a great way to support local business as the creators of this are Clevelanders!!

2021-12-08Mr. Jingeling just attended our Holiday Event last week and provided a perfect amount of Holiday Cheer to our event! It was absolutely perfect having him make our special holiday guest.
