Very unprofessional! We had an appointment scheduled this evening to look at a home they have listed for rent. Our apartment was for 5:30 and nobody showed up or even gave us the common courtesy of a phone call. Hell of a way to run a business! I suppose they make enough money and dont need mine every month. Ill be looking elsewhere for sure and you should too, as this should be an indication of what type of landlord they are.
This is a HORRIBLE place to rent from. The only concern for them is to get the empty apartments rented. NO communication from them unless its the 5th of the month and they calling about rent....thats the only time they call. They dont answer the phone nor call back. Maintenance is a joke...theres no office on site and have to call a line thats not even located in OH for them to put in a order for the maintenance person to call....good luck with that. PLEASE,PLEASE read the reviews before renting and if you have kids they dont have a place to play because the tenants let their dogs poop all in the grass and walkway!!! Its not even worth 1 star!
We lost our home December 7th 2019 to a devastating fire that destroyed or Cape Cod Style home. Our hope was to find something within the area to give our kids the comfort of remaining in their school district until we could fine something better suitable for our family. The listing was for a 3brm home located on the Southside of Columbus our leasing agent was Bailey who seemed nice at the time and Knowledgeable in her line of work. We signed our lease on December 17th 2019 Paid the necessary fees and we’re excited to move on our contract date which was today. I reached out to bailey prior to move in and asked would the lockbox info be sent to us in advance prior to the holiday(NEW YEAR DAY) Welp here I am writing a review because that information was never sent. I’ve already booked my U-Haul for today and it’s due to be returned at 11:00am Internet was scheduled for today, and gas and electric has already been scheduled for today as well. I now will have to pay my storage fees for this month also to accommodate for not being able to move in on time. I still don’t have a key to move in to a place that has already been paid for. The amount of unprofessionalism is truly a disappointment to KPREG to say the least. I now will have to request additional days off to to move in a home that should have been ready to go as of TODAY. If this is how our 12month lease will go, I’m already disappointed in our decision to lease from KPREG. It’s really sad that after all we’ve been through in 2019 We can’t even have a place to call our own on the first day of the new year. What a way to walk into 2020.
Applied for a home rental and was charged an application fee even though the house already had an approved application,website still taking applications even after I was texted and told house is rented and no longer available. Do not apply here! They will just take your app fee even though the house is unavailable.
The response from management in response to my review ( by KPrealty on December 17, 2019) is UNTRUE stating that they provided a temporary washer/dryer while current washer/dryer was being repaired. I requested that and it NEVER took place and it took almost a month for the correct technician to show up for appointmen,order parts needed, then over two weeks later repaired washert and took weeks of phone calls, voicemail messages, text messages, and emails to company email to generate minimal response.Providing a temporary replacement washer once again, NEVER HAPPENED !!!! And only a small ONE time Credit , NOT several was applied to my account. After all of that my request to speak with Tarry Summers or any other person from the KPREALTY office ( which is located on first floor of same building as my apartment ) re: this and other matters related to my tenancy were never responded to in any manner.So much can be dealt with,discussed rationally and professionally with good communication. And resolve just about any issues When it’s not and a situation goes unanswered and effecting tenant issues results in impatience and not enjoying residing on the premises which I may add that the RENT is very expensive.The is BAD Management. The worst. Also, common walkways, steps on property on rarely if ever salted or shoveled when snow and or ice is present.I really enjoyed residing close to right under my first yea out of the two I’ve been therer, even friendly chit chatting with Tarry Summers, Houston, Bailey and other staff on occasion. Able to go to office or get returned calls as needed and then it went steadily downhill.If there are a major turn of events and significant improvements all around with management, maintenance and few more adjustments to be discussed with management to my account/ lease for all inconveniences encountered; I would be willing to reassess and change my reviews regarding KPREALTY GROUPS management etc.Whoever wrote, or is writing responses to my review or similar reviews re: this property and its issues should have knowledge of the facts first otherwise you’re hurting your own brand and reputation.Please reach out to me professionally and personally to rectification and communication.I would like to wish Tarry Summers and the KPREALTY Group in Columbus,Ohio a wonderful and blessed HOLIDAY. Terrible communication. Emails and voicemails go unanswered. The only time you can expect to hear from them is if your rent isn’t in by end of day on the 5th. My apartment went without electricity for SIX days because I nor AEP could get in touch with them. Luckily, AEP grew equally frustrated and let my power be cut back on after I brought in a physical copy of my lease confirming I did live there (KP never verified my tenancy with AEP so the power was cut off 3 MONTHS after I moved). I never heard back from AEP until TEN days later when rent was due, no apologize or acknowledgement of my troubles until I mentioned them. Maintenance denies all requests, from asking for blinds that aren’t broken, reporting bugs/mice, HOMELESS PEOPLE SLEEPING ON THE STEPS, broken ‘keypads’. Your mail will also get stolen & the garbage stays overflowing. Don’t do it, guys.EDIT: I see the fake reviews pouring in. And ‘responses’ to the bad reviews saying we reviewing the wrong company. DO NOT move in to PINE MEADOW APARTMENTS managed by KP REAL ESTATE.
Ive tried to politely call casey and belinda to inquire help for a work order and now my call aren’t going through. Do not rent from these people. Its a scam business. They will say you’re harassing them if you continue to call then they will pick up and hang up then block you i have recorded proof. It’s the most bizarre thing!

2022-05-16I started renting with KP on May 3rd.As the temperatures rose last week I noticed my A/C is in poor condition.It’s been almost two weeks and my A/C isn’t fixed. I have a 7 week old and a toddler and we have been forced to stay at a hotel because our house isn’t suitable for such young children.The company’s communication is terrible I’ve emailed their realtor Bailey about my issues and she ignored me.I’ve left voicemails … no responseThey refuse to respond about bringing a window A/C until the problem is fixed .They refuse to respond to me about prorating my rent or reimbursing me for my hotel expenses since I’m renting a homeI can’t even sleep in.I’m a single mother and Renting with this company is causing me financial hardship and they don’t care at all.

2022-07-12No starsHorrible business practice, non-professionalWas a tenant at my property for 5yrs before it was purchased by KP realty when they did their initial walk through before purchasing they claim they would deal with any issues that the previously landlord could not fix we have had them for 2 years and they have yet to start any repairs we have a shower wall that fell down on our 5-year-old due to water damage kitchen floors water damage window seals water damage black mold for 2 years we have done nothing but got rental inceases text message that get no responses and that is about it the only time theres real communication with them is if your rent is not paid on time the only time theyve been to the property is when theyve come to redo the signing of the lease or a bank walkthrough they are one of the most negligent businesses I have ever come across we are contacting code enforcement environmental engorcement and anyone else that relates to slum lords

2021-12-05Terrible! Terrible! Terrible! Do not rent from these people at all. Bailey Strathie was very unprofessional. KP just needs to have better management across the board. I was renting one of their properties for years. Eventually KP and Realtor Bailey sold the home that I was living at for 3 years. I was given short notice about moving out of the property. I moved out gracefully (never received my security deposit back at all). The entire rental agency it’s all full of young (maybe 2 old 🤔), incompetent, inconsiderate, but most importantly… it’s ran by a group of unprofessional individuals.Bailey lied to me! Do not trust her! Especially with all that unnecessary make up on her face to cover them craters 🙄… you can’t trust a person with a ton of make up on….. they hiding something!!!! And I said what I said in this review.

2019-12-17Absolutely amazing company to deal with. We were able to rent a beautiful home that was well within our budget. By doing so we were able to save enough money to build our dream home. I can never thank them enough for making our dreams come true. If you are looking for a Real Estate group to not only provide you with a great place to live at a fair price and save you money look no further.

2020-11-20Of all rental places this has been the worst expiernece Ive had. They promoted the property as completely renovated after moving in realized the only remodeling done was painting and cheap floors. The basement was promoted as finished it had flooring and was a useable space. Months after moving in it flooded, water sat for about a week before anyone came. Then the floors got rotten, realizing they put new flooring over already rotten and water damaged old flooring. So floors got ripped up and the space is no longer useable. In which Im still being charged 1000 a month, its been months and Ive tried contacting and negotiating a new rent amount but absolutely no sense of urgency or response for that matter. Was also told one time that they couldnt help because someone in the office just had a baby and maintenance was sick. Like thats my problem?The ONLY time they contact you is when they wanna charge you for something then they finally reach out. But when you bring up a concern EVERY SINGLE TIME Im told Ill hear back by the end of the day. Then I never do. I call, email, and even show up to the office and nobody will be there. Its just completely unorganized and theyre ROBBING people. DO NOT RECCOMEND

2020-08-13They helped me get into my first apartment and helped me every step of the way. Our leasing agent was wonderful and gave us info on everything we needed to do if we have any issues. I would recommend everyone to rent from them!

2021-09-13Ive never dealt with any business in any industry more allergic to professional communication than these people. 5 years renting from them doesnt even get you a call back. It never improves.

2021-01-06Said they would pay me for my appliances that I furnished at one of their rentals and they have been avoiding my emails and messages about the payment I’m owed! I was told this payment would be included with my security deposit and sent back to me over 2 months ago!!I have never before dealt with such unprofessionalism!!

2019-07-11No stars!!! Wish I had known this company was so hard to deal with, b4 moving n here. The maintenance is done thru portal on computer. A/C broke, thought would get a call back. I missed work do to the intense heat n house 87 degrees. Today worked, had headache & blurred vision, due to lack of sleep. No one to complain to. When moved n was told could call Bailey with any problems, was informed, not to call that number it was the leasing office, after moved in. I wanted to be here when they come in, because got a music box broke & boxes moved by maintenance mans foot when just moved in had unpacked. Then they fixed out side faucet month or 2 ago, was broke when moved in, Sept. Maybe a month or 2 ago. Knock over solar lights outside left them that way. Moved table with plant outside, left plant hanging between table & house. I need an approx time they will be entering house, so can cage dog or they may accidently let him out. They make a profit on garbage pick-up, charge me $20 a month, talk to neighbors its $48 every 3 months. If I want a recycle can, Im suppose to go pick it up myself. I could go on with the problems Ive had in less then a year, but probably lost most of u. I have a business, this is not the way to be. If u want to move when lease is up, you have to give a 2 months notice, never heard of this.

2020-06-07We received a letter of eviction from this company, we had no dealings with. I am beyond upset seeing a notice after work. Our rent is paid up. A day later, I was notified by my “landlord” that he sold the house we were renting from for over 10 years to this company. Have not received any information from KP nor the landlord until this letter was taped on my door. KP is avoiding my calls. I will be talking to an attorney.
