Great store and staff..the prices on non sale items are high though. Exampleis a box of mozzarella sticks I get from family dollar and Walmart for a buck was $1.69 there so paying almost twice as much. Other than that, the store is clean and nice bakery, etc.
Their custom cookies are nice. Tom Kishman has always been very hands on with his store. Glad to see theyve been in business so long.
Our small towns (Malvern, Minerva) are so lucky to have Kishmans. It’s so nice to go into a store that is friendly and accommodating. If you don’t see what you want ask, they’ll try to get it. Love having the convenience of a local store that has great products, fresh produce and a fabulous bakery. #shoplocal
The store is very clean with friendly employees. The prices are very high though. Produce is outrageously expensive and not that fresh. They had nectarines for 5.99 a pound and I went to Walmart and Marcs which had fresher produce. the nectarines were 2.08/lb. Huge difference! Some produce is fine there though. Fruit is where they rob you. I asked an associate how much this small basket of apricots was. She took them to a register and came back and said $5.99. Im ok, a little high, but I took them. When I got to the register it rang up $12.68. For apricots?? No way!! The $5.99 was per pound!!
I get super weird vibes walking in every female looks like theyre being held at gunpoint. The foods overpriced but they got a good rewards program that is connected to the Gulf which is cool. Would recommend if youre going through town or need like one thing.
They had nice apricots but the price wasnt displayed anywhere. So i didnt purchase them fearing they would be expensive. The store is always a nice place to shop though. We are from Portage county and we always stop when were in minerva because we like the store and the employees.

I love this grocery store. Clean, fresh, and friendly! My family has shopped here for over 40 years. I much prefer shopping here than any big box store. Local produce, local employment, great sales, friendly staff, and they even bag for you and offer to take it to your car for you. Kishmans has been a pillar of our community for many years. Support local!
Older lady behind the counter was very rude to me about not wearing a mask. I tried explaining to her that I have a medical condition that makes me unable to wear them and instead of listening she cut me off telling me there are no exceptions. The difference between a law and a mandate is apparently lost on her. As well as the fact that medical exceptions are a thing that exist. I promptly and politely gave her the items I was intending to buy and left. Never again going to shop here. 0 stars is not an option but should be implied.*Update* Not liking to wear them Isnt the problem. And asking customers for a doctors excuse is a huge violation of privacy. To be clear I have claustrophobia brought on by my previous cancer tests and treatments. It was never about not wanting to wear one, I literally cant. Which is excused by the mandate that isnt a law. Anyways, 0 stars still simply because the owner himself decided to say something ignorant.

Love the remodel. They have so much to offer at this grocery store. Always have been a little pricey but if you get their rewards card that helps out a lot. Lots of varieties to choose from also. I can also say that if they dont carry an item I have personally asked them about it and theyve actually started carrying it which was super awesome! Love their meat sales and their midnight madness sales as well. Very pleased
Been shopping here for years. Great people to help you. Great beer selection. My only critique would be the cakes look like they are homemade. The tops are not square and professional looking. Tastes good, but looks a little sloppy.
This is exactly what a small town locally owned grocery store should be. This is not a huge store, but it seems to have a little of everything. They have everything a normal grocery store has, so Ill point out a few things that I like. I like that there seems to be a lot of people employed there. Like, if you have a question or, need help, you dont need to hunt all over the store for someone. Their hot food case is well stocked with a nice selection of tasty hot meals ready to go. Along with a soup and salad bar. They have a little coffee bar area thats nice. Thats just to name a few things. Check it out sometime youre in the area.
Prices are high if not on sale. Couldnt get many of the items I was shopping for because some items were double the price compared to Canton stores. But its probably a good store for a quick trip to the locals. Dont hate for not so great review because I did spend more than $50 in your store. Couldnt get much, thats all.
I cant explain it But at kishmans IGA in Minerva Ohio I have had such an experience that when I was inside it was welcoming and it provided everything that I needed in the store and some things that I had not expected however I would feel comfortable and saying that their service and services are top-notch and I would recommend to anyone that they at least go there once and try it out for themselves its something about the atmosphere that beams a positive energy that I felt welcomed and supported in their environment it is top-notch service and I again would recommend it to anyone
They have the best chicken n jojos carry out fast n can get shopping done at same time. Like one stop to do both. The young people working there are very polite. You dont often see young people there age so polite. Someone is doing good job in the screening and hiring.
A while back they expanded. The store is much bigger and what you would expect with a larger grocery chain. Great selection, deli, bakery, meats. Pricey. Not a discount grocery store by any stretch of the imagination. Watch for sales. Otherwise, always clean with friendly service.
Ive never really cared for Kishmans. Then you bought Woods Groceries in Malvern. Was hoping for not alot of change. Paid the higher prices for the small country store with the amazing and wonderful ppl who are not snoty and upitty that show up everyday to work. The world is dying slowing as it is. Now you cut the 3 soft pines down for what reason? Just more of a reason not to like kishmans. Guess Ill have to find a new store unfortunately.
Its like any other grocery store. Its neat, its got stuff that you can buy. Its organized pretty well but they change where they have things a lot, which is kind of annoying, but understandable. The staff are always very nice and helpful.
The people that works here are very friendly and I love talking to them. Great atmosphere. Love their chicken and Jojos. Their people is excellent as well. I usually stop at least once a week to pick up items I need. Store is very clean and love the people there. Tom Jr is very friendly as well. Thanks for everything Tom and staff. Enjoy coming there because people are so friendly. Great store and keep up the good work.

The prices are extremely high and the personal that work there are not helpful at all . Not all of them are like that but the younger ones are very rude. I personally know the last three times Ive been there a young girl check me out and was bagging my grocery as she rung them up and my ham salad was destroyed because of the cleaning supplies that bagged with it leaked all of it.
The Kishmans I.G.A store is clean well organized . the parking is free and handicapped accessible. They have a public restroom . the salad/hot food bar is most excellent .there are also UNEXPECTED selections ; such as crafted beer and specialty baked goods and everyones favorite (chicken and Joe Joes) there is even spumoni ice cream a holiday favorite ; when its not even a holiday . The delicatessen has many excellent cold cuts and.hot sandwich and SUPPER meal courses to choose from . The staff offer most excellent assistance .You can actually ask for help and they are so friendly and helpful .The dairy items are stocked well and and fresh .we especially enjoy the produce area .well maintained and very fresh with a great offering of.fruit and vegetables

Came here hoping to find some organic produce while visiting family. Very disappointed at the customer service and lack of food safety being practiced here! I noticed the young lady who handled my bread was not wearing gloves, and she was rude to me when I asked her to. Do not come here, you will regret it!
Great store. Much bigger and better stocked than I expected. They have a relatively large wine section, and a respectable craft beer selection. Great deli as well.Staff is friendly too.
Tom has a wonderful thing here, great selections for being a small town store... thank you! The school kids working the registers have little personality and lack social interaction skills, but thats easily dismissed as being a millennial. Come on guys open up and have some fun with the customers. I only come to town about once a years, so you better be on your game next summer for that five star rating. LOL
Prices could be better but cant be picky because they make up in quality and everything else. Im especially thankful they carry organic, non GMO products which is mostly all my family eats and its a pain to always drive far away.
Clean place to shop& friendly people that work there. The bakery is great along with deli. Plus they take your groceries out for you. Theres always someone in the store that you may ask a question if you cant find something.
Although I am sure that all the employees are not Tom Kishmans children he did instill in them his values. There were several employees on the floor today stocking the floor. At least One or two in every Department. Nearly at least one of those two employees in each department (if not both) ,every single time gave me a warm sincere greeting. It felt more like a family reunion than a shopping experience.

I work in a much larger city and have found not one grocery store holds a candle to Kishmans IGA. Does not matter what I am looking for Kishmans always carries it. The best produce and prices. And the friendliest staff around
My wife and I shopped here for the first time . And I must say that most of their stuff is expensive but hey its family owners and local so with that being said iga has my business the workers dthrte were friendly GREAT selection on meat , nice clean and friendly place and the same distance from me as any other market

Caseload Sale 2018 is in the books. Cant go any place else and load up on all your veggies or pasta sauces...Anything for winter soups, sides...So grateful they do this. Its the only way I get to stock my shelves all at one time and and All from one place. Thank you all for running this sale each fall.

I always have a very good experience shopping at Kishmans. The employees are very friendly and willing to help except for the past couple sundays I have gone in the evening to get something from the deli it was like pulling teeth to get any one to help you and when they do they have an attitude like your putting them out. I wish Tom would go in there on a weekend to find out what the problem is. I have talked to other people that have had the same thing happen to them so it is not just me! Thank You!

Management was extremely rude... Various bigoted comments from staff. The floor was often times filthy when I went.. I had purchased produce and found it was spoiled. I would not recommend visiting this establishment, best elsewhere.
We were driving around and stopped in. Fantastic store! If Kishmans doesnt have what you want then you dont need it! Much better than Giant Eagle.

I moved to Minerva within the last year from Alliance. There are some things that Kishmans doesnt have that Im used to finding in the larger grocery stores, but its very convenient. The employees are usually very friendly, polite and helpful.

For around here ther is not a lot of supermarkets unless you go to Canton where there is Walmart, aldi and others with better pricing and bigger selection but not grate service and helpful employees.

2022-04-03The shelves here are almost always well stocked, and you cannot beat the customer service at this store! I love that even in 2022 they offer to take your groceries out, though Ive not used this service before, it is very nice for the elderly. The fuel rewards are a nice bonus, especially considering the current gas prices. Love having such an awesome small town grocery store!

2022-04-21A bit on the pricey side, but I can depend on them to have everything in stock. At a time when other stores haven’t had certain items or brands in for months, they always have what I need. Also this is the only place I’ll buy meat from, it’s fresh and hasn’t been frozen, then thawed out, and frozen again (then thawed out again) before hitting the shelves (Hi Walmart). Store is always spotless and employees are very nice. Also the lines at checkout are never long, and if there is a sudden rush of customers, they always open another register right away.

2022-06-24Management and the staff here let an old man threaten to knock down my friend’s child and then threatened to kick her out when she made a comment back to him, but said nothing to him. Not a huge shock considering in this town, only men are respected but if you are going to yell at one customer, yell at the one who started the confrontation. Will never shop here since it clearly is not a safe place forwomen and children.

2022-03-01Very nice employees, but unless items are on sale, they are crazy high! The price you pay for living in a small town with the only proper grocery store in town. You wont get lower prices like say at Walmart, but thats a nearly 30 minute drive away.

2022-02-20Don’t get a cake made here!! I got one for my graduation an whoever decorated it did a horrible job. I was so embarrassed, everyone at the party laughed at the cake. It was also super dry and tasted like plastic
