So their work is warranty but their parts are not. September I got my brakes and rotors replaced December I was back because they still didnt feel right wait January I was back because they stowed in and feel right. Everywhere you got tires rotated and had them check it again they still said they were fine.. Went to a different place to find out that I was sold faulty breaks and rotors because theres no reason they should have gone out within 6 months. It was told I was past my warranty time even though I brought it back previously for the same issues. dont go here I can tell you a whole bunch of other bad things that happened here charge you for parts that they didnt even put on your car cause they put it on somebody elses car all cars and other things.
Spoke to a lady in the service department who was rude with the questions I had about a vehicles prior service record. Inside the Toyota App all the other dealers had detailed information on what was serviced with the vehicle but Kings Toyota had one that said See Story. As the 2nd car owner I would like to know what was wrong with the car during that particular service since they neglected to complete the service information with a vague response. When I called service the lady got rude, real fast and said I was not legally allowed to know anything and that all warranties were tied to the previous owner. Someone seemed a little defensive on what happened. I did not ask for a warranty nor did I even imply I wanted one. I was just trying to figure out what see story meant. Obviously Toyota kept the cars information updated on the VIN and I was able to see every other repair. Beechmont Toyota was much nicer and walked me through everything my vehicle had gone through and even informed me of a recall option on the car. As a potential future customer, please let your personnel know first impressions matter.
The best car buying experience I have ever had!! With new cars being so hard to get right now they did everything the could to make sure my wife and I got exactly what we wanted in her new car! Of course we had to wait a few weeks for it to come in but they let us know weekly where it was at and what was going on. Brett Lurix was our salesman and he crushed every aspect of the deal! He was friendly, respectful and did everything he could for us. On delivery he made sure to go through all of the cars features and once the deal was done he walked me over to the service desk to schedule the install of our few add ons. Ron Whaley in finance made sure we were able to add on the two features we wanted and keep the car in our price range. On top of that we were only in the finance department for 35 minutes! He was honest, straight forward and a pleasure to work with! I would highly recommend Kings Toyota for anyone looking to purchase a car!
Should have known from the start this wouldn’t be a good experience- the salesman had no idea how the keyless entry worked “tap once for lock (one syllable), tap twice to unlock (two syllables).” Huge lapse in judgement going through with that sale- but the car itself has been fine. The service center is the absolute worst- I have zero trust that they actually do rotate the tires when I decide to pay to get it done there. Most recently, I wanted to get my tires rotated and aligned while I took it in for the free oil change. 3 weeks later, my rear tires are ruined and needing replaced, which a separate garage chalked up to poor alignment. I called Kings to see what they would do about it, and their only response was that they did not align the tires, only rotate them. Obviously the problem came from them n it listening to my request to also align them, but that’s not something the manager seemed to care about at all.literally the worst customer service, every time since I’ve been there. Additional problems I’ve noted throughout using the service center mostly revolve around them trying to get unnecessary repairs done, like brake pad replacement and tire replacement despite a trusted mechanic having performed this maintenance within the past week or so of me coming to Kings for the free oil change.
Overall experience was good. There was one option that I requested to be on new Toyota that it have remote start and my salesman stated that in fact this SUV had the premium sound system and has the remote start. He attempted to start the engine with the key fob with no success and said that I needed to download the app on my phone for the remote start option to work. After the purchase was completed the salesman helped me to download the app to my phone and opened the app he informed me that this vehicle for some reason doesnt have this option!!! I find this totally unacceptable! I think they should make things right by installing a remote start system.Update Last week Jan-20-2022Kings Toyota installed an after market remote start at no-cost !!!!Thank you, Kings Toyota for stepping up to the plate and making this right.
I am giving a 1 star review for my sales rep Joe Heckler in the used car section. I had found a low mileage 2018 Toyota Highlander online, and I really liked how it had very low miles so I called the dealership and got the receptionist to transfer me to the used car sales. Joe picked up the phone. I asked Joe if this vehicle was still available, he said that he had to check the inventory and he would call me back. Okay no problem. A few minutes go by and joe calls me back says yes they still have the vehicle. I then explain to joe that I am not local and ask him if I were to reserve the vehicle how long could they hold the car for me. I originally said that I would be able to buy the car in June. He said that he had to talk to his manager and call me back. He doesn’t. The next day I call back and follow up on the request to reserve the vehicle, he explained that his manager wouldn’t allow the vehicle to sit that long. I understand that, that is a long time. I was able to get the remaining funds needed for down payment and I told Joe that I would actually be coming up to Cincinnati that coming Saturday. At that point he had asked me to complete the loan application on their website which I did and was approved. One conversation I did have with Joe on the phone was asking him if there were any signs or wear and tear, any scuffs, chips, or scratches on the car. If the interior leather was torn. Just general questions about the vehicle to get an idea of the condition of the vehicle. And his response to me was that he went to the vehicle “yesterday” and it “looked good to me” okay Joe. Taking that response into consideration, I offered to pay for a reservation fee so that there were no others buyers until I could get there on Saturday. Saturday comes and my mom and I take the 3 hr trip to Cincinnati to purchase this vehicle. Joe texts me and asks that I message him when we got there. Okay. We are almost to the dealership For my 1pm appointment, when Joe texts again asking if we are there. Why did he text me again if I had agreed to message him when we got there? We finally get inside and Joe is waiting at the front and greets us. Right after greeting us he immediately asks us if we are ready to start the paper work. To which I reply that I wanted to see the vehicle. We all walk over to the highlander, and right away we notice several exterior defects in the body of the vehicle. I am attaching photos of the defects in this review. Next I tell joe that I want to text drive this highlander. He gave me push back and said that it needed to be quick because we only have so much to sign the paperwork. What dealership doesn’t allow their customers to test drive vehicles? This one. He was pushy and rushed me for our entire exchange. When we get back from our quick test drive, I explained to Joe that I was ultimately not happy being lied to on the phone about the condition of the vehicle. I was specific in that phone conversation and Joe’s response reassured me that there wasn’t any. There was. I requested that they come down on the price due to the condition which was not previously disclosed to me. They did, but only $500. Not what I had requested. We walked away from this deal. There is more to this story but just know NOT to deal with Joe. He was never friendly or nice to us at all. He lied to me about the condition of the vehicle and rushed us the entire time we were there. As customers we should not have been treated that way. The trip was not wasted. My mom and I went to another dealership close by and I purchased a model newer, with more features and I am very happy.
My wife stopped in to check out the Highlander. As it was explained by the young sales lady we dont do test drives anymore. You just order the car you want and then wait for it to arrive. Totally get it... there are no cars to test drive; then say it like that. Lots of choices on where to buy Toyotas in this city, too bad the nearest one to me treats potential customers like that.
Not a fan. They push you to lease. Even a lease to own once it matures they push you to lease another rather than buy out your lease. Their lease manager is the worst at returning phone calls! Finally returning our call the day before our lease was up only to be massively rude when he found out we took care of purchasing it at another dealership. I think some retraining needs to take place ... strong arming in this day and age gets you no where!
The actuall purchase process is not bad and the prices seem very competitive. However everything else is terrible. They do very shotty maintenance and lie to their customers to get more money out of them. My current issue is that Ive been trying to get ahold of Finances for the past 3 days. I have left several voicemails and have called a couple different managers that didnt answer. Today I called a couple times and before I could explain myself to the service desk, she hung up on me. I think her name was Linda? Anyways they treat their customers terrible. Once you buy the car its all down hill from there. I will never do business with Kings again and I certainly will not be recommending them to anyone that is looking for a vehicle.
I bought a Tacoma from the dealer in 2015; overall friendly experience with no issues. The extended warranty was sold to me (I know...neveer buy the extended warranty from the finance guy/gal). The enticement was a guaranteed buy back program. If no claims were made on the warranty in seven years the total amount would be refunded by a third party. Now seven years later the third party has stopped processing refunds ...they still accept applications for refund ... just stopped processing them. Dealer is responsble for selling the third party service and therefore a two.
I just called twice. No answer. The third try I did get someone on the phone. I asked if they had the vehicle I wanted to test drive. He said they did not have any and in a rude manner. Politely I responded and said the inventory may need updated, it shows there are 12 in stock. He responded with they all have been sold. I responded by saying ok and asked if there was any even in the showroom that I could test drive. The man hung up on me. Very unprofessional and rude. He could have said no not even in the showroom and I would have simply said thank you. If you are going to have people answer the phones try not being rude and hanging up on the potential customers. Needless to say, we will be going elsewhere to buy a new vehicle.
I was referred to Kings Toyota by a guy I work with. Kings did not have the Toyota RAV4 Hybrid that my wife had in mind. Beth Reichert who is amazing, worked her magic and located exactly what my wife wanted. Beth then had Darrell Gessell work the sale out with us. Darrell was great and very professional. He kept us informed every step of the process. When we picked it up, he went over the entire vehicle with us. This is the best dealership I have ever dealt with. The prices were the cheapest around and they were willing to work to get us what we wanted! I would recommend going here first if you are looking to buy a Toyota.
Was out of work for 5 months fighting for my life with Covid, at the same time our family of 5 Mini van decided to kick the bucket . I was able to withdrawal money out of my 401k and decide to buy a used 2019 Mazda cx 9 from kings Toyota and spent 26,000.00 on this car , I’ve owned the vehicle for only a year and a half and it only has 67,000.00 miles on it and the engine is going bad , misfiring and only running on 3 cylinders, stopped in to see if they can help me out it anyway since I just spent all that money on a certified used car from them and they basically told me to go kick rocks there’s nothing they will do it’s my car now, have owned Toyotas all my life and have highly recommend them , but will never spend another dime with Toyota and plan on spreading the word about the lemon they sold me !!!
My experience with Kings Toyota was excellent! From the moment I saw the car I wanted to buy on Autotrader.com, to the moment I drove it off the lot as my new car, I had nothing but positive exchanges with Kings Toyota.Mike Toy was the sales person that helped me and he did a fine job providing information and working the deal on my behalf to get me a price that would work with my finances. Mike the Finance Manager, as well as Chris the Sales Manager were also very responsive, curteous, and helpful.Through the entire experience, communication via text and phone call were great and I felt very confident flying to Cincinnati from Denver, CO to purchase my red 10 Chevy Camaro SS!Thank you Kings Toyota! Keep up the great customer service! Your respectful and caring approach to selling cars is real and it is refreshing!
Ripped my elderly parents off for a refund of thousands of dollars on an extended warranty through a 3rd party they portrayed as themselves. Buyer beware. Bait and switch. No help to recover the lost money. This business is the lowest of crooks. They know what they did and they know how they did it.
If you want a new Toyota, go see Wanda Maston. Shes incredibly personable and will work with you every way she can to get you what you want for the best price possible. Wanda = A+++For the record, I dont enjoy purchasing vehicles from dealerships because many years ago I had the experience of working at a different Toyota dealership just South of Dayton and saw how they did things. Out of curiosity and convenience I tried to work something out with them but was quickly reminded of who they are. So I tried Kings. And Im happy I did. At no point was I pushed or pressured into anything. Everyone there was great. I got the truck I wanted without any B.S. So, if I ever want to buy another Toyota, its worth the drive from Dayton.
The best car buying experience that I ever had was at Kings Toyota, and I am so glad that I got to work with Sales Consultant Ashley Findsen. I am not the easiest car person to work with, as I wanted a certain model 4Runner with a specific color, certain options, and some add-ons. I was not sure that I would be able to get everything I wanted at my price point, but she found a model at one of their other lots, had it sent over, and my add-ons installed, all done quickly and at the price point I wanted. Communication was superb throughout the process and even still today if I have a question or need anything. Buying a car is a big decision, so it means a lot that I felt like I had someone on my side the whole time.
Went thru there car buying express showing a vehicle in stock on there website. Filled out all my personal information only to find they presold in months ago but yet show they still have available. Dont list the vehicle on the website if its not available! #stillshadycardealerpractices
I waited to give this review because I wanted my mind clear to be fair. But there are a couple things that upset me. To be fair the price and overall deal of the car I was happy with. Thru all my research they gave me the best deal. However, I gave specific instructions on who they can compare rates with to beat out the financing that I already secured. I thought that was what they did till I found out that they shotgunned the loan out to all types of lenders and I was taking hits on my credit left and right. When I would ask What’s going on because I can see the activity I would not get straightforward answers. Fast forward to after the deal, it was a used vehicle less than 20,000 miles but literally within a month of having the vehicle I had to change the oil. In my previous experiences of buying vehicles used I never have had to change the oil almost instantly after purchasing. So In the end the sale was good the experience however could have been much better.
I had no issues during the purchasing process. Me and my wife purchased 2 vehicles from here 3 weeks ago. It was a smooth simple process. My issues comes after we purchased. We traded in a vehicle that we were supposed to get a check back on. (were told by the f&i manager at the time of signing for the new cars thatd it take 10 days) Fast forward 3 weeks later and Im still waiting. I reached out to my sales associate last week and this week and have got 3 different answer on why I havent received it yet. Me and my wife have called up there multiple times and left multiple messages and have yet to get a call back. I have also noticed they have already sold the vehicle that I am still waiting to be paid on. (Its not a small amount its over $5,000 dollars) We fly out for vacation Monday (9/13/2021) at 6am and it would be nice to have the money Im owed by your dealership. You all should keep the same positive energy and outlook you have trying to get new customers as dealing with minor issues instead of ignoring people.
Completely taken aback and appalled at the customer service (or lack thereof) that I received while visiting this location today. I started looking at a model I was interested in and I let the salesman, Dave who was helping me, know I would like to trade my car in, he says “let me see your keys,” then proceeds to drive my car over to what I assume is an inspection area. I wouldn’t know for sure though because that information was not disclosed to me, nor did I consent to an inspection of my vehicle beforehand. Once he finally brought my car back to me, he told me I NEEDED a new car and that my vehicle was nothing more than an auction car. I felt that this was handled extremely unprofessionally and that the whole part of the process could have gone a lot smoother had the salesman been able to communicate what was happening and letting me know my cars value in a more respectful manner. After that, we came back inside, Dave said to sit down at a table while he went to get paperwork. When he came back he asked for my credit information, the whole time I was under the impression a deal was going to be made that night. Dave took my information, came back less than a minute later saying “it’s going to take a lot of work, I can’t do it tonight. I’ll walk you to the door.” I did not feel comfortable giving him my information since we were not going to be able to do anything that night. Not only was I mislead, but I was brushed off. This place does not seem to care about their customers, only getting off the lot on time. Dave was on his way out at the same time as me!! Never in my experience of buying cars have I ever been treated with such unprofessionalism and disregard for my time. If I could give less than 1 star for this experience I would.
Kings Toyota has earned customers for life! We dreaded looking at vehicles and dealing with the stereotypical sales staff that you always deal with during vehicle shopping. The second we walked in Liam greeted us with a smile and asked us if we needed any help. We had narrowed what we wanted down to two vehicles and we needed someone who actually was knowledgeable about the vehicles to help us out. He did exactly that, he pointed out the differences between the two SUV’s for our purposes we spent a good amount of time with him asking him just random things that popped into our heads and he knew it all and was so patient with us. I can’t speak for any of the other smiling faces on the sales staff but Liam was so wonderful and pleasant to deal with that I just can not say enough about him. The paperwork was super smooth and fast with no hassles and the whole financial department is even kind and inviting and don’t treat you like just another customer they are rushing through. We will be back to Kings Toyota for our next vehicle without hesitation because they made car buying enjoyable, stress free and seamless.
I want to spotlight Derrick Bonger and Terrell Davis for being so awesome! My baby girl bought her 1st car yesterday. 2013 Sonic Hatchback and shes in love! They were both very helpful about getting her financed and in and out the door and into the drivers seat!! This was the quickest and easiest car shopping experience Ive ever had and the customer service was beyond excellent! Thank you Derrick and Terrell! We will definitely be back for our next car!
I bought a new Sienna recently from Kings Toyota. My car salesperson was Carly and she was terrific. She spent lots of time with me, teaching me about all aspects of the car, including the technology and the rear entertainment center. She answered all my questions thoroughly and patiently. She was helpful to me even two months later when I lost the remote. I would highly recommend Kings Toyota where they sell reliable, dependable cars and do it with a smile!
People here are all super nice and attentive without making me feel pressured in anyway. Jason was my sales person, he was very patient and easy to communicate with, despite me showing up at the end of the day. Even though he couldn’t hold on to the first car I really loved, he took the time and effort to help me find another new car that I am very happy with. It was a pleasant and easy experience over all.
We bought our first Camry from Joe Heckler in 1993. It was a great experience. Joe is professional, knowledgeable, and patient. The car we wanted was not on the lot. Joe told us he would find a car in 2-3 days. Two days later we picked up our 2021 Camry Hybrid. Joe turned us over to another gentleman for the financial transaction. They do give a hard sell on the extended warranty, but he was efficient and accomplished the paperwork quickly. We have bought several cars from Joe Heckler over the years. We plan to use him again.
Service advisor Matt M was incredible. He helped me through a situation when purchasing a new set of tires for my car. I had some issues and Matt was there every step of the way. I appreciate the high level of customer service that he provided. I will be returning to this dealership based solely on my experience with Matt. Thank you and keep up the great work and service!
Horrible customer service. There are plenty of other dealerships around that would appreciate doing business with you. When driving 2+ hours to see the car I found online, the salesman told me he would hold the keys for me. He called me 20 minutes later saying it basically was sold and they were doing paperwork for it. Then calls me back again saying it fell through and the car was still available. Calls me again saying it actually sold. When asking what happened to him holding the keys for me he responds with “well we’re really not allowed to do that”. I still decided to show up to look at other vehicles and found one that I liked. I talked to a different salesman at this point because the other guy was horrible. Since purchasing my car, that has a warranty on it, it has needed oil change etc. I would call the dealership just to make an appointment to be transferred to people who don’t answer their phone. I’d leave a message and they don’t ever call back. Every time I’ve had to deal with this place it’s a joke. Take your business elsewhere, I totally regret ever purchasing from them.
I recently bought a pre-owned vehicle from Kings Toyota. It was a very smooth and easy buying experience for me. I knew what vehicles I was most interested in and luckily they still had one of the two still available. My salesman, Mike Toy, was great to work with. I will definitely return to Kings Toyota when my wife is ready to replace her current vehicle.
I bought my Certified Pre-owned car from Kings Toyota. I know you pay more for service at a dealership, but I liked the security of knowing that they kept all my records and could tell me what service was needed. I have not driven much this year and am ready to take my first trip in a while. I called to ask what service I was due for and the woman had absolutely no idea. She told me I needed a service, despite the fact that I had the receipt from Kings that they had already done this. Wait times or service have increased as well, and no one seems to care about the customer. I used to be very confident with Kings. I dont know what changed, but their service has gone way down hill.
Was a very good experience interacting with the rental department. TJ Handled my call and was very professional, helpful and timely. We could not ask for better service than what this man provided. We needed a rental car last minute and they made it happen. Im done dealing with Enterprise and all those overpriced and service lacking car rental Companies. Furthermore, Grace contacted us regarding some last minute questions about our return process and details. She was also awesome to interact with and made us feel our business was appreciated. Will give you our business again . Thank you Grace and TJ. 10 star service
This is a wonderful place to buy a car. They are personable and work with you to give you the best price possible. Jason Xu was my salesperson and he was really great along the way. I looked at a few different cars before deciding on the 2021 Corolla and I had him running around all over the building. But the smile never left his face! I really appreciated that and Ill continue to go to this location for all my future vehicle needs.
Had deal done, sold van out from underneath us. Special deal was a wheelchair van, told them we wanted it to late to go back Friday night, they said great come in at 10:00 am Saturday to pick it up. They Called us at 8:30 am Saturday reminding us to bring down payment and paperwork, loan was approved Friday. They called literally as we were walking out the front door at 9:30 am and said they sold it to someone else after are deal. Worked on this deal several days, they have no integrity, customer loyalty and are not honest. Also be where pulled are credit many many times even after we were approved with out are permission. I DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL, Dan In used sales and Chris in financial Dept. define used car salesman stereotype!
First off, our saleswoman, Ashley F. Seek this woman out if you’re looking for a new car cause she’s the way to go! She’s polite, friendly, professional and knows the details of the car. She worked WITH us to get the lowest price possible rather than against us. Toyota people...promote her, give her a fat bonus, treat her and her family to a steak dinner at Jeff Ruby’s. She deserves it.The dealership was super clean and easy to roam about. Nobody ever pestered us like other dealerships and everyone we worked with was polite and professional. The sales process was super easy and convenient. Great place to buy a new car.
I would never buy a car from Kenwood group, or Kings again. The salesman was great - but the follow through from Kings Toyota (used car) was awful. Bought a used car with my daughter and all was good until the paperwork didn’t come through. I left four voicemails for the admin at Kings to call me never got one call. Left two voicemails for GM to call me never got one call. And this was asking about the title for the car - which Kings DID NOT have at time of sale! If anyone, would have returned my calls I would have understood but no one did. Bottom line, outside of sales rep and finance guy, HORRIBLE customer service. I will never buy a car again, nor will I ever buy a Toyota again.
I worked with Mike Toy to purchase a new-to-me Honda Pilot. It had just been posted online that day but Mike was super helpful, sent me more photos, answered all my questions, and really understood that we were driving over from Indianapolis and didnt waste our time at all. Plan to have this one for years to come but highly recommend working with him for your new car!!
Disclaimer I am not one who leaves bad reviews but I didn’t want someone to go through the same experience as I did. Bought a car 2 and a half weeks ago. Been trying to get in touch with Troy Toy because he said he would be mailing a part for my car to me. (Which he said they would replace when I bought the car) I have called many times, left many voicemails & they will not call me back. My radio went out , which they said they would replace but they haven’t yet. This place is a joke, they said that they are the best used car place in the area but they aren’t. All they care about is making money. I would never buy a car here again. So if you’re looking for a car for yourself, do yourself a favor and look somewhere else.
`We had a great experience at Kings. Our salesman, Dave, was patient with us when we thought we knew what we wanted but it wouldnt fit my 6 7 boyfriend. He spent as much time as it took to find a vehicle that worked and still gave me all the extras I wanted. Delivery went smooth and easy. Very much recommend this dealership and Dave!
This is my first Toyota purchase, a 2021 Highlander. I love it! Craig Walter was an excellent and knowledgeable sales person. He was very helpful in getting my audio set up with my new car. This is by far the best car buying experience Ive ever had. Great indoor showroom too!
Our experience was less than acceptable. From the second we walked in the door, we were not greeted nor serviced. After 30 minutes of salesmen approaching people walking through the door instead of us standing by the same car in the middle of the show room, we had to seek out a salesman ourselves. Byron’s first words to us were “you know we close at 6:00 (it was 5:15). We then asked to test drive the car which we were then reminded again that they close at 6:00. Upon arriving back, we asked to talk numbers and Byron did not seem the least bit interested in our business. He showed us pricing, we then asked if we were able to make a counter offer where he condescendingly said “sureeee”. They were only willing to negotiate $200. Our experience was anything but pleasant and very frustrating as we were wanting to buy a car that day. The lack of interest in selling was a turn off. We will definitely not be giving them our business.
Our salesman Joe was great - very patient and super helpful. We ordered a car and had to wait about 3 months but he kept us updated along the way. Thank you!. The finance guy (cant recall his name) was extremely condescending. My wife and I did our homework before arriving and were not going to buy an extended warranty - The guy was way too insistent that wed have a problem and we departed a little angry. -He is the reason well go elsewhere in the future. The experience to that point was fine.
Customer service and sales people make you feel that you are the only customer they have. I bought my certified Toyota and the free oil change for life is unheard off. While I live close to another Toyota dealership in Dayton, I still drive all the way to Kings Toyota for their friendly customer service. They never tried to sell me something I dont need. I trust them working on my car. Highly recommended to buy used cars and service after purchasing. Update in Sept 2020: Once again Kings Toyota service proven to be one of the best. I came with a flat tire, they determined it needs full replacement. In few days, they called me with a new tire to install. After the installation, I discovered that they made a slight mistake and counted the tire under warranty even it was out of warranty with couple of weeks. For my surprise, they honored the warranty and cost me nothing to replace. This gesture reflects great culture in the dealership and they found away to build a customer trust that I will still drive for a whole hour from Dayton to get my car serviced here! Highly recommend it!
If I could post 0 stars I would. This would be the 3rd car I have gotten through King’s Toyota. I’ve had no problems when buying a car through them, but dealing with the service side of my experience Ive had nothing but headaches. If you offer a free service you shouldn’t break parts to make a sale, damage it or a “temporary fix”; Nor have I ever been called out by my race, or where I am from. I have never been treated with such disrespect. All I asked was to fix what you broke and make it right. Now I have to worry about my car leaking oil and running empty, all from your amazing free oil change!
Came in last week to get an airbag recall done on my car which they did a great job and there was no issue. They recommended a few other things that my car was missing or needed attention on so I made an appointment for Feb 3rd. They ordered a J hook to stabilize my battery only to find out after over an hour of waiting my battery is to small for the hook. They did not fix anything and also recommended more things that my car needed done. Very upset I wasted my time and gas to get here for nothing.
My daughter who is a single mother bought her first car with a loan a Hyundai Santa Fe from them less than four months ago. Sunday her engine blew up!! My daughter rarely goes anywhere other than work which is only 5 minutes down the road. She got a warranty THANK GOD because they have not helped her at all. They had her have it towed to them only to tell her that it will be a minimum of six weeks before it can even start to get fixed and that is covered. HOWEVER, they are refusing to give her a loaner leaving her to try to figure out how to get back and forth to work as well as taking car of her child for TWO MONTHS. During this time she will of course be expected to pay the payment. They are also telling her she will have to pay to have it towed to the place where it will actually get fixed!! Do NOT buy a car from these people!! You will regret it!!
We had a great experience with our salesperson Danielle. She is low key awesome. She lets you find your own way without any pressure but is always there when you have a question or want to drive the car again for the 5th time. She made our buying experience so easy. Such a pleasure to work with.
I purchased a used RAV4 and our Sales Rep. Ermek was knowledgeable & helpful, without being over aggressive or leading the conversations. He emphasized the level of inspection and repairs associated with their used vehicles prior to sale which I thought might be more of a talking point, but as things developed several areas were identified by his mechanics and repaired. They delivered on the promise for a thorough inspection and repairs. I would definitely return to this dealer for a used Toyota.
Buy from Danielle! Shes awesome. No pressure. For us, she was there when we needed her or had a question but left us alone to browse in peace otherwise. I like that - rare for a car dealership, so a pleasant surprise. We purchased a 2021 Highlander and am very pleased with both the vehicle as well as the attention Danielle showed us while we were there. Hope to be back to see her again this spring to get another vehicle for my wife.Danielle deserves 10 stars in my opinion!
I bought my RAV4 a month ago and I am still loving it. My sales rep Danny G was knowledgeable and patient with me. This was my first time buying a car from a dealership and he made me feel comfortable through the whole process! I did have to go into the service department because my steering was squeaky after 2 weeks of purchasing it. I was very concerned but The service department was amazing too! Very nice and fixed my RAV in no time. I really appreciate how they made me feel comfortable. I will be bringing in my car for future services. I will also definitely be back to purchase any future cars. Highly recommended to friends and family !
They had the inventory and the best price for a few dollars a month. My issue is with the service department. I had a question regarding something on my Tacoma and called twice. Someone was supposed to get back to me but of course nobody did. Im not surprised. I kinda expect that. Lack of respect for a customer stops once you purchase it in todays world
After several weeks of searching on line, I found the car with all the features I wanted. I made an appt with Kings Toyota and bought the car. When I got home and started checking the features, I found that the car was not equipped with several of the features listed on their sticker. The car is nice, but I didnt get the great deal I thought.
If you are in the market for a new Toyota, stop down and ask for Nick A! He exemplifies customer service and will not stop until you are happy!! His patience, understanding, and willingness to go the extra mile are attributes not often seen in sales. I certainly appreciated the time he spent answering all of my questions and hunting down the perfect Highlander for me. His knowledge of the brand is unparalleled and I have full faith that he will delivery an amazing experience to any customer lucky enough to have him!
Service Department is topnotch...Kings Toyota took amazing care of my elderly mother! Kelly and his team ensured her safety as they identified multiple holes in her tire during a routine oil change. They accommodated her schedule by providing a rental free of charge, while they fixed her tire at no cost! Thank you!
Bought a used Sienna 18 months ago. Have 3k+ left on the loan. Started overheating not even 2 weeks after purchase. Have had to replace Thermostat, water pump. Blown head gaskets both sides. Hubs and bearings both front axels and now broke down again. Worst purchase I have ever made. All totaling in repairs 5k+ the vehicle was 7k at purchase. In repairs Ive almost had to pay as much as its worth to fix the S.O.BThe people there were very nice and professional I will have to add that but the vehicle was a total failure. Would consider trading current vehicle in for a newer model but this specific Van was a big bust.Current update, engine is blown. Used is 1650 for a replacement. Not including labor costs. What a wonderful experience.
Made an appointment with Joe for Friday,3/19, 5p. When I arrived at the dealership, I was requested to wait at the lounge by the front desk. I waited for 30 minutes before leaving the facility with no help. I even provided them with my license and insurance pre-arrival to speed up the process. All in vain. Hope the services are better for you!
If I could give negative stars I would. I purchased my last two cars from King’s Toyota. When I purchased the 2014 Avalon your finance guy sold me on how important an extended warranty was on this and I would get it refunded if it wasn’t use. I thought this was a no brainer so I paid for it. I also received complimentary car washes and oil changes as long as I owned the car.The car wash was broken more than it worked so I gave up on that. I learned to schedule the oil changes as late as possible because I knew I would sit there for over an hour no matter what time I scheduled. In some cases I sat for over an hour for a simple oil change. The axle broke on my car and I was told verbally when I checked in that it was a good thing I had the warranty. I assumed that meant that they were using the extended warranty. The next instance came when I was in for an oil change this year. The oil filter was incorrectly installed in my car and messed up the threads. Oil leaked all over my garage. When the car was repaired I found out that the axle was actually covered under the manufactures warranty and I should still be entitled to the refund of the extended warranty. After several emails back and forth trying to figure out how to apply for this refund I finally get all the paperwork sent in and waited. Now, I received a paper from the processing company stating that I waited too long after my car hit 75,000 miles to file for the refund. I would definitely find a different dealership and will never purchase another Toyota.
First I would like to thank Mr. Toy for going above and beyond to get me into the 2014 Fiesta. I dont know how he did it, he went to bat with making sure I was approved and able to leave the lot in this very clean and extremely awesome car! I do want to apologize to the gentleman who helped me with the paperwork as well express my gratitude and full appreciation for making sure my Ts were crossed and Is were dotted. It was an absolute pleasure doing business with both you and Mr. Toy. This is the first time I have started purchasing a new car through a dealership and they definitely made it memorable experience. If i have any friends and family that are on the market for a new or certified pre-owned vehicle, I will most certainly recommend them to your dealership. To everyone who works at this location, even though I didnt have the pleasure of meeting or working with you, my respect and gratitude goes out to you all. Please have a wonderful day and keep making peoples lives easier and better.
Center console lid had the leather peeling off. I had to follow through 3 different times just to get them to order the part. Then I had to make 2 separate trips to get it installed. Then while this was going in I had to have a tire teplaced. They put the wrong tire on two different times, and I had to make 3 separate trips to get that right. I was promised 3 different times that someone would reach out to me from customer service. Of course between King’s Toyota and corporate I received exactly zero return calls. No offer on Kings end to make it right either. Then to top it all off the lady at the reception desk is rude and over talks you when you are trying to explain things. She half eluded to that fact that somehow I had fault in this entire disaster. Now I’m being told that customer service will come and see me while I’m waiting. You guessed it no one came to speak with me. I guess I’ll have to make a big deal about that too. I love my truck, but I will never by another vehicle here ever again. The service and incompetence has been disappointing to say the least.
Bought a 2020 Yaris Hatchback recently. The whole process was great starting with the online sales team Eventually I came to the awesome indoor showroom. Venay already had my interests in mind from the online team. The process took less than an hour as I knew what I wanted. We reviewed the numbers for various options. A very low key sales approach but thoroughly answered all my questions. I will buy my next car from here and if Venay still works there I will work with him.
I purchased a 2020 Toyota Camry from Kings Toyota and was very happy with the end result. At first, I was dealing with Joe Heckler, who did a very poor job of listening to our needs. I made an appointment to meet with him along with my fiancée, and Joe was preoccupied with other customers. He proposed a deal, and insisted on a hefty down payment. Joe was tone deaf, and did not understand our needs...nor did he take time to uncover all details of our situation. At that point in time, I would have given Kings Toyota one star out of five. The day after our meeting with Joe, Rob Schoenhoft emailed me to see how things were going. I raised my concerns about Joe, and explained the circumstances of our situation. Rob listened and brokered a deal without the down payment. I am not sure if Joe is new, or if he was just a poor example of a salesperson. He seems like a nice enough man, but he was a terrible salesperson. Everything Rob did for us was great, and we are extremely happy with our new vehicle. I will recommend Rob to anyone looking to purchase a car from Kings Toyota.
James E. was the best car dealer I’ve ever worked with by far. He was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I had prepared myself for a pushy salesperson, but he absolutely was not. He let my husband and I drive the car on our own with no issues, he was very open about the best deals they could work and let us take our time making the decision. He took his time teaching me how to use everything even though it was after closing and made sure I knew everything about my Camry before I left. I would refer everyone I know to him and to Kings Toyota. Even in the financing department, they were extremely helpful when I came back to change an error on my end and to help me get a remote start added as well as tint to make sure my car was perfect for me and affordable. I can’t say enough great things about my experience at Kings Toyota.
My Salesmen was Jamie. He was polite, professional, quick to respond to any answer by phone or email, and very accomodating. Even with my callanged credit he and the finance team worked hard to get me a loan for the car that i wanted. Most other dealers i went to saw my challenged credit and tried to get me into a different vehicle that was a known less reliable brand/model and with many more miles on the car. Jamie got me into the 2012 Honda Accord they had with 72k miles. Now I have a reliable car that should easily go to 200k miles like any toyota or honda should. That brings a piece of mind that is worth the price i paid. Yes i had a high interest rate and had to pay for GAP protection, which was expected, but there was no other funny business with the financing numbers. All in all was the best car buying experience that i have ever had. I will definitely be recommending this dealership to friends and family when they are looking for their next car.
I had to get a new car ASAP because I use it for work and my other one got totaled in an accident. I knew exactly what I wanted and found it at Kings Toyota. Byron was the salesman that contacted me and we were able to come to a deal and finish everything but signatures through text and email. Had me home in a 2021 Corolla Hatchback the very same day. I HIGHLY recommend this place and Byron. Thank you!!
I bought the platinum vehicle service agreement for our Corolla yet the first time I made a claim they told my wife that it expired two weeks ago, not true, they tried to charge my wife $350 diag fee. The next week I took the Corolla to a different Toyota dealership who immediately saw that I had a warranty that was good until June of 2022 and fixed everything under the warranty. If you want to have a aggressive sales team pressure you and then do business with this people.
I recently leased a 2021 RAV4 from Kings & had the pleasure of working with Chris Vanderveer. He made the process simple, quick, and was very friendly! I was in & out in about an hour. I came back the next day and Chris delivered the car to me and showed me everything i needed to know. I highly recommend Kings & Chris to anyone! You won’t be disappointed!
Layton Griefenstine was so helpful in the purchase process. I asked lots of questions and he answered all of them. Layton was patient and thorough. The purchase process was very transparent. Everything was written clearly which made the decisions straightforward. The whole process took about three hours which included test drive, trade-in evaluation, financing options and our own time to decide. This was a very good experience.
If you are in a hunt for someone who knows his product, look for Mr. Joe Heckler. He was the one who patiently showed us the various vehicles and even explained its features. He never rushed us to sign right away but gave us time to really consider a lot of options. That is why when we finally decided to purchase, we looked for Mr. Heckler. He even work things out for us to get the lowest interest. Mr. Joe, thank you for all your help. We are really enjoying our SUV.
I had been to several dealerships prior to visiting Kings Toyota. This is the first place (as a female shopping alone) that I felt 100% comfortable. I was at the point that I dreaded going out looking for cars, Stephen Shanabarger made the experience so comfortable and pressure free that I realized there was no reason to shop further. I put a vehicle on hold that day. It was not just the car that made me do that, but it was more about the superior sales and customer service I received. All in all, he made this an extremely positive car buying experience. I definitely recommend Kings Toyota (and Stephen) to all friends/family and plan to purchase future vehicles from them.
Brian Ravenscraft did a great job. After a long day of looking for vehicles we were able to get what we needed at a fair price without a hassle. He went out of his way to get us a vehicle that was still in the process of getting ready for the lot and we bought it. He followed through and made sure it was ready for us the next day. Thanks.
Ashley Findsen, Danielle and the entire sales department went above and beyond to make my experience worlds better than what I’ve been put through by other dealerships in the past few weeks. Never once did I feel pressured, never once did they try to sell me something I couldn’t afford, they did not treat me poorly because I am young/female, (which believe it or not was a BIG problem at other dealerships) or hide things that should have been disclosed. Ashley kept me in the loop through the entire process without being pushy or overbearing. When there was an issue with timing on a certified pre-owned car I was looking at, there were immediate actions taken by the staff to resolve the problem and put me in a better, newer car for the right price. They also went out of their way to have Toyota match my pre-approved financing while still making sure I gotthe cash incentive, so I could do online signing of my documents and not have to drive 45 minutes back up to the dealership. I LOVE my brand new car and I love what I paid for it. I plan to keep it for years and the free oil changes for life is a huge value. I cannot recommend this dealership and it’s staff enough and I will absolutely be back for my next Toyota purchase.
Bought a 2018 Camry with extended warranty. Seat heater caught on fire with my wife sitting in it. The bad thing was I just had it in for service for it not working properly. They told me I had to take it to the 3rd party who they had install it. So 3 days later after the service visit, it caught fire. It burnt my wifes back, which they keep ignoring at the time. Melted her best, which they said replace it with whatever she wanted. Now they gave us a $50 gift card for the best, and I cant even purchase a new on comparable and one she likes for that price. Kings Toyota told me I had to fight the 3rd party company for the cost of the one we bought, and they couldnt force them to pay it. Even know the car was bought new and through them. I called and have left that 3rd party company 2 messages, and kings Toyota GM 2 messages and a voicemail. No return calls. So I call Corporate and dealing with them was a joke as well. They told me they were a private dealership and cant do anything. Guess my next car wont be a Toyota.
Kings Toyota is dealing their 2020s. Very happy with my new Toyota Camry Hybrid. Indoor facility allowed me to check out the car when downpour outside. Got to the numbers I wanted. Thanks to my professional salesman, Craig Walter, it was a great buying cycle from beginning till delivery. Thanks!
We just took delivery of a 2021 RAV4 from Kings Toyota. They have been our dealer for many years now. Our go to person has always been Ryan Fink. We really appreciate his excellent customer service. He is honest and will treat you fairly. Brett Lurix also took part in the sale and he was great. We had a cargo box on top of our return lease car and Brett made sure it was safely transferred onto the new RAV4. The Service staff at Kings Toyota is also the best. Thanks to them all. Jim L
I’ve been utilizing the Kings Toyota service department for over 12 years now. James Rowan and his crew always treat me well and do excellent work. This last visit, I had a special request with mounting and balancing some tires and they took care of me. Got me in and out quickly and at a great price. I would recommend the Kings Toyota service department for anyone needing service done on their Toyota or any other brand of vehicle.
We had a very good experience with kings Toyota. Thanks to Dave Henn and his efforts to help find and put us in the the Rav4 that we where looking for. Dave and the Toyota staff there at Kings are professional and courteous. They made the process of purchasing the vehicle very smooth and quick. Thanks Dave Henn and kings Toyota!!
Just purchased my 5th Toyota from Kings Toyoya, a 2021 Highlander AWD. The experience was outstanding. I went on-line and found the Highlander we wanted, then I visited Kings Toyota and checked out the vehicle. The Highlander had everything and more!. The Kings Toyota sales representative, Chris VanDerveer is an absolute pro. He held the car for me for 2 weeks, scheduled my visit with his Finance Team, and we completed the transaction on Halloween Day. I arrived at 10a and left the dealership at 11a; an unbelievably seamless transaction that was completely paperless and touch-free. Amazing! If you are looking for a new or used vehicle, I highly recommend the TEAM at Kings Toyota. Truly a partner in the process and beyond! Kudos to Rob Schoenhoft and his extended team.
Update: they were able to help me as originally planned. Just when I thought it wasnt possible they made it possible. Thank you for reaching out and helping Kings Toyota.Great service, no issues so far. Personally Im disappointed to schedule and reserve service only to find out 2 days before that I cant receive that service until December when its only February. Its just upsetting and frustrating especially when no other locations have that option. I feel let down Toyota.
Chris Vanderveer was very patient and knowledgeable as he helped us decide on features for a RAV4. His professionalism carried through with a trade in and sale transaction for a family member. We really appreciated his time as he set us up in our new car and helped us with the different set ups.
My wife and I purchased a used car from Derrick Bunger, Sales Consultant with the used car department. Derrick was professional, extremely helpful, and compassionate towards our needs and expectations of buying a used car. I would also like to recognize Terrell Davis, the Business Manager. Terrell was also professional and made the financing of the used car easy!Thank you both!
I just got my dream car from this dealership and everyone is very professional. I am so happy and I thank Tim Klenk who was my sales consultant and he arranged everything that I needed to get everything done in an easy and convenient way for me. I appreciate that I went to this dealership place. Its very trustworthy. Thanks everyone.
I just bought a new 2020 Camry SE AWD. I worked with the Sales guy Darrell Gesell. He was very polite and helpful without being pushy. He even helped me find the get the exact options i wanted, which were rare, by trading with another Toyota dealership. I highly recommend working with Darrell.
We have purchased two vehicles here over the past 8 or so years. Weve always had a positive experience from the sales department to the service department. Our most recent experience just occurred a few days ago. The rubber molding on my drivers side window of my 2014 Sienna pulled out of the track as my window was going down. My husband called Kings Toyota service department and they were able to get us in immediately to have it worked on. When we arrived, the service technician greeted us at the service desk and we explained our unfortunate situation. He told us that even though we purchased an extended warranty, the moldings and the like were not usually covered, and it would cost around $190 to repair. We were frustrated, of course, but we had no choice but to have it repaired. He then went out to assess the problem, started working on it himself, fixed it, added silicon spray to the window to ensure it wouldnt re-occur, and didnt charge us for the quick/simple repair! He had us in and out in 20 minutes.....without charging us a dime. That is what I call going above and beyond. That kind of effort and customer care went a very long way with us. We will definitely continue as Kings Toyota customers for future purchases and service!!
Though Kings was the third Toyota dealership I visited (search based geographically), it was by far the best. In fact, my wife and I had such a pleasant experience there that Kings Toyota won us over and well have no issue going the extra distance.I contacted a lease specialist prior to arriving. I received info from Toyota Financial Services regarding the early trade-in on my 2011 Camry. Preliminary estimates were given over the phone that were very satisfactory.Much to our surprise, we were able to get an even better situation upon our arrival. The experience ran so contrary to our visits to other dealerships where numbers and costs kept getting added to.The service and treatment was exceptional. Friendly and accommodating (we came late in the evening) without being over-bearing or rushed. The selection of vehicles was excellent; the facilities inviting and comfortable. We got the car we wanted with no hassles, no surprises. The car itself has been a joy to drive. Wed be happy to return to Kings Toyota and with their service plan, lifetime oil changes and car washes, well return soon.
My experience with the service department at Kings Toyota was excellent. I was greeted by my service advisor, Jaime Merlo, with open arms. He made me feel like a queen and the most valued customer ever! The requested service was completed in a short time, and explanations were given on current and future needs, with no pressure, which I appreciated. I recently moved to Cincinnati from Florida. Going to Kings Toyota was one of the best decisions I have made. Great job! Thanks!
Got in early with an appointment, and they were quick to handle a warranty issue. They have a new setup for dealing with the departure which is excellent. Always appreciate the Kings Toyota experience. Forgot to mention Tony Fiorito, my service advisor who did a great job of getting me in and keeping me updated on progress!
Came in with a less than great credit score and their dealer DJ (Dereje) was able to get me out of there in a 2017 Toyota Tacoma trd sport. Even though there were a few dings from the previous owner, dj made it clear that I would bring the truck in and get them fixed. It is great to see that these people did whatever it took to get me in my dream truck. Thank you so much dj and kings Toyota!
Kings Toyota is the best. They have lots of selections of used camrys and had the one I was looking for. Rick Bales and all the managers were very nice and answered all my questions about their car warranties. I told them I might need a co-signer to get the car I wanted but they ran my credit and I was approved by myself. I got the car I wanted and a low monthly payment. I also felt comfortable and they made me feel welcome even with me being young. The process was quick and easy which only took an hour and a half. My 2016 Toyota Camry has low miles and looks like a brand new car. I will come back to get a new car and will recommend them to anyone who needs a car.
Upon arrival the manager must have seen me looking lost so he came over to assist me. Thank you so much! I didnt catch his name but he was very helpful and kind. He directed me to Casey, service advisor, who was fantastic at helping me understand the process and what services I needed to get. While I was waiting another wonderful guy came out to talk to me about what had been done, what needed to be done, etc. He explained everything thoroughly in ways I could understand. It was a great experience at Toyota! The service gentleman who checked my windshield for cracks or holes even noticed how dirty my windows were and he cleaned my windows for me!! Thanks to all for excellent service!! I will never dread this appointment again!!
Jason Xu was easy to work with. I did my research prior to coming in, called him via the number on the website, told him the price I wanted to hit, and he made it work. There was no extra pressure to add on crazy fees or anything else. Finance Office was also great. They tried a bit harder to push me towards some products I did not want, but ultimately worked with me and were not pushy on add-ons. Would definitely recommend Kings Toyota again!
I had a great experience at this location. The general manager, Rob really has this place running smoothly. When my husband and I came to Toyota we were greeted right away by the man who would be assisting us for the evening, Tom. I have to admit, i was really dreading the car shopping process, but Tom was great for so many reasons. The first thing I appreciated about Tom was how friendly he was. He didnt treat me like I was just another customer he wanted to get in and out the door, instead he showed interest in meeting my needs and requirements. Once I told him the type of car I wanted, he quickly found it and got it ready for a test drive. Not only did he set the car up to its optimal safety levels, he also provided a great route to test drive the vehicle so that I would have a good sense of how the car performed on the highway and local roads. When I got done with the test drive, I decided that the vehicle was right for me, and Tom was able to get the leasing payment options, credit check, and approval done quicker than I ever thought possible. All in all my husband and I were only there for about an hour and a half and we were able to get everything that had to get done accomplished. The following day when I came to pick the car up, Tom greeted me once again and helped show me how to synch the car up to my devices. He also told me if i ever had any questions I could call him anytime and he would be happy to help me. By far the best car buying experience Ive ever had.
I had my car serviced yesterday 03-08-2019 by Kings Toyota, everything was perfect, from my service writer Sydney who did an awesome job getting me through the intake process. Eric found me in the waiting room and went over the multi point inspection and his recommendations where spot on. I thought the time it took to preform all of the task was excellent and I was out of there in no time. The cashier was Samantha, she was pleasant, polite and all smiles, will I go back to Kings Toyota for my service, absolutely I will.
This dealership is very unprofessional and lie to their customers. I had the worst experience this past week bringing my car in for service. The initial interaction between me and the technician was horrible. I was trying to explain to the technician what was going on with my car he was argumentative and rude. I spoke with the customer relationship manager Christine Craig and she informed me she would give me a credit on my service as a courtesy because of the horrible customer service I received. I dropped my vehicle off and left it to get the work done. The next day Christine calls and tells me she will not be taking anything off my bill. I informed her of the conversation we had just the day before and she acted if she never agreed to adjust my bill. She basically lied. When I went it to pick up my vehicle I spoke to the service manager Steve. I explained what happened and he never once apologized or tried to remedy the situation. He was extremely rude and very sarcastic. I walked out of his office to pay and get my car. As I walked out the office a white couple walked in with a issue with their vehicle. I noticed Steve treated that couple completely different. The wife was yelling at him and threatened to sue Toyota. Steve apologized more than once and went out of his way to accommodate them and remedy the issue. I never received the same treatment. Its clear this specific dealership is bias towards certain races and treat their customers different based on this. Word of advice from personal experience dont do business here find another dealership.
My wife and I recently traded in our 2018 Corolla iM to purchase a 2020 RAV4. We were very pleased with the quick and efficient process. We had previously done business with Beechmont Toyota and Joseph Toyota, but we were seriously disappointed with the sales process and constant back and forth. At Kings Toyota, we were given an upfront price for our trade and our new car, and the sales team worked hard to make the deal work. They were more than fair and provided a very easygoing environment for our new purchase. It was extremely fast and efficient. We worked with Wanda Matson and Ryan Fink in sales, and we worked with Josh Cole in finance. Wanda and Ryan made the process quick and easy, quickly checking in our trade and solidifying the details (under 20 mins.). In finance, Josh provided a professional setting, and we quickly completed financing details electronically. He made sure to follow cleaning protocols due to COVID, and he was very responsive to my concerns. Moreover, Josh was happy to answer questions about the trade-in process.Compared to Beechmont and Joseph, Kings rises far above. They easily beat out the competition (and offer lifetime oil changes, too!). We were ecstatic to do business with them.As we live only 10 minutes away, Kings Toyota has earned our business for life—both in service and sales. We will be happy to spend time and money with this dealership.Thank you, Kings Toyota!
Never takes too long to be seen by a service advisor at Kings Toyota.I was helped by Melissa, who even gave me a voucher for a rental car while my car was getting serviced.I was advised about how long it would take & promptly received a text message letting me know my car was ready for pickup.Overall very satisfied with my experience here.
No pressure and a most cooperative staff at Kings. Bought five vehicles with them since 2005. Chris Vandeveer worked with us on finding just the right vehicle, a 2020 Highlander Limited. Even with low inventory Kings was able to customize availability to our needs. Top shelf service at the point of sale defines KINGS!!!
If you go to Kings Toyota you have to, absolutely HAVE to, like seriously it is not an option, you HAVE to ask for Ashley! I have never met such an easy going car sales associate, and honestly such a kind person in general. Incredibly knowledgeable, laid out many options, really looked and put a lot of effort into finding us what we wanted. Now we have a beautiful beast of a 4 Runner in the family. Not kidding, you better ask for ASHLEY!
My family and I have always loved Toyota and have had great experiences with them in the past. I went on the Kings Toyota website and sent in my interest about a car. Within minutes I was reached out to to set up a time to come in and it I was set up with a sales associate named Mike Toy. He was phenomenal during my car search. I was interested in corollas and rav 4s. He was very knowledgeable on both and walked me through the differences in both cars while test driving them. Once I decided on the car I wanted, he presented many financing options and worked very hard to get the best one for me. He even came in on his off day to finish the deal since that day worked best for me. Once we closed the deal, I was taken to Tee Dee in the finance department. He was also phenomenal. This was the first time I was buying a car and financing it myself. He walked me through every option and again, we came up with a plan that best worked for me. During my car buying process I truly felt like my best interest was in their hearts; I didnt feel pushed, rushed, or jaded in any way. It was refreshing to go to a dealership and be treated with such respect. I even got to meet the business manager Chris at the end of my process who was so thankful that I chose to do business with them. I would definitely recommend this dealership!
My service experience today was eye opening. It started with a service advisor bragging how he got a customer to replace every fluid in his car when he didnt need it. Next I was told I had to wait 60-90 minutes for a oil change, when I had an appointment.I was told I needed a cabin filter replaced. It takes 5 minutes to replace which was $40 for labor! That is twice the cost of the filter. It isnt that hard to replace, so Ill do it myself from now on.After replacing the filter Im told I need a battery. I purchased a 5 year battery from Kings in 2014 and that battery was replaced May 2017. Now the replacement battery is bad. I said no.I went to Auto Zone and they tested the battery and it is good, right down the middle of the battery indicators green zone good.I cant trust Kings after this experience.Spoke to customer service two months later and got a lame excuse for the terrible service. Never service your car here! They are out to scam you.
I purchased my 2013 Rav4 a couple of months ago at Kings Toyota. I was new to the area and had never used Kings before so I didnt know what to expect, but I must say that I was very impressed.I noticed the Rav4 online on a Sunday afternoon. I went to the showroom first thing Monday morning and test drove the SUV. It was in perfect condition and I immediately knew I wanted it. The sales person took my information and within a few moments I was approved. I signed my papers and drove home in a relatively short period of time.I would encourage everyone to look at Kings for their next vehicle purchase.
I took my Camry for an oil change, I was treated very professionally by all employees. My service advisor Mr. 260 Steve Boster added a Multi-Point Inspection to my car service. He is a good representative employee to his Toyota Dealership. Posses good communication skills. The service of oil change and inspection was conducted in less than an hour. I drove out my car as if it was brand new Camry. Kings Toyota is probably the largest dealership in Cincinnati area and definitely has to be the best in the nation. Outstanding service.
I had a great experience here! Lewis Collins was a wonderful salesperson that worked well with me and my very busy schedule. He helped me find the perfect vehicle that fit me, my lifestyle and my budget! Not only did he answer any question I had thoroughly but he also personally taught me anything I needed to know about my new car! Many thanks to him, I will be coming back for any future purchases!
Dru was awesome! I had some hesitations when it came to turning in my lease and picking out a new vehicle. He eased my mind. He was so nice and patient. Answered all my questions. I never felt rushed. He was honest and got me the best price. I will recommend him to everyone I know. Thank you Kings Toyota and Dru!
Great service at Kings Toyota, as usual. Colin D is fantastic. Not often does a person look forward to having their car serviced, but because of Colins professional and friendly demeanor, he makes it easy to get it done. He lets me know of upcoming services so Im not surprised, and fills me in on what needs done and what can wait. He has taken care of issues both under and out of warranty and I appreciate his honesty. I highly recommend Toyota service department and Colin.Craig
In the beginning everything was good. We agreed in the price and moved to finance part but unfortunately, when we were tried to sign paperwork they changed price up. So basically truck went up for 2085$. They explained that they mess up with tax, that’s why it changed I said it’s not my fault and they need to workout some deal for me and take it off but instead Kevin said do whatever you want we are not doing anything, Kevin says that they have a lot off people In line for that car. Actually the person who mess up with everything Kevin Mchone. We were buying Toyota Tundra platinum. I had seller Carly. (Carly did awesome job)and sales Kevin Mchome. I’m adding photos of price brake down.
The Kings Toyota team is always wonderful. Service is swift and consistent with optimum care. Melissa and Anthony are always a pleasure to work with along with their manager James who truly promotes dedication and stellar service. I have utilized this locations services for my 2004 Toyota Highlander for 13 years and counting. My vehicle is in great shape because of it. I highly recommend them to anyone.
It was a pleasure working with Nick Amrein in purchasing our 2021 Venza. While we were wintering in Florida we decided to get a new Venza. We communicated with Nick and let him know what we wanted. He worked everything out and when we arrived at the dealership upon our return, he had the vehicle we wanted ready for us. It was the easiest car deal we have ever made.
Today I went to Kings Toyota trying to purchase a used RAV4. We test drove the car, loved it and decided it would be a great fit for our family. As we went in to sit down and start the purchase the salesman came back and stated, “Well, I have some bad news - someone purchased this car already but no one put a sold sign in the car.”My question was then - why was the car still on the lot? No one could answer that question at all. Typically, anytime I’ve purchase a vehicle, when “said” vehicle is sold it’s pulled from the lot to get prepped (cleaned) for the buyers to take.Waste of a place to purchase a vehicle. I would never ever recommend Kings Toyota to anyone.
Used DUCK TAPE inside my new tire to tape the sensor that they broke off after while taking the tire off. Took 2 different Toyota vehicles to get serviced including the one I bought new at Kings and always got them back worse then they where before I took them in. I got so angry and sold the new one after just over a year and got a Honda. I got a call back a few months after I sold the car from someone to talk about the issues and when I told them I sold the car due to the bad service she didnt care what I had to see and just got me off the phone. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE IF YOU VALUE YOUR TIME AND MONEY.
Rob Schoenhoft and his team (Adam/Don/Dennis) did a phenomenal job keeping the sales process professional and positive as we negotiated until both sides reached a satisfactory agreement. At every contact point, it was clear Kings Toyota wanted to sell a vehicle and earn a new customer. When I arrived to pick up my vehicle, every promise made was kept. Overall, it was a fantastic buying experience.
My wife visited the showroom twice. We intended to purchase a vehicle. The first time was a few weeks ago, and not sales person there was interested enough in asking if we needed anything, but they were clearly not busy. We went again yesterday-again not a single sales person there wanted to inquire about the vehicles we were viewing. In fact, it appeared they were avoiding eye contact. Thus, we left. As we were leaving, a gentlemen of a different race came in and a sales associate almost jumped out of her shoes to see if he needed any help. Luckily, we went to Kerry Toyota in Florence and bought a 2020 Toyota. I have bought 3 Toyota vehicle in the past- a 4-Runner, and 2 Lexus vehicles. Great vehicles, but this dealership is subpar.
10 Service experiences and one purchase experienceMy transmission went out on the highway at 23,000 miles on a new Highlander- Wow was that near deadly!!! Took it in for service- They said a loose gas cap caused it??!!Purchase experience was OK but full of pushy bullshinola. Many other mediocre service visits- pretty much didn’t address and of my new car concerns and just pushed more items to sell.
I had a great experience at Kings Toyota. I went for a routine oil change. The service representative Colin noticed I had several outstanding recalls for my Tacoma. Colin arranged all of them be done in one visit. He ordered all the parts and arranged a rental car for me. This made it very convenient for me and was greatly appreciated.
We purchased a new Camry this May and we have been very satisfied with the car and the helps received from Kings. It was Mr. Bruce Blackburn who helped us for the entire process. Bruce is a very nice gentleman who is always ready to help from test drive till installing the license plate. He listened to your questions patiently, and answered your concerns in a very professional way. Before we drove away, he explained the features of the car with great details. Even after the purchasing, he was still helping by answer our questions over phone. I rate him as the best Sales and Leasing Consultant I have ever worked with. I also appreciate the financial person who helped the loaning process. Overall, I rate Kings Toyota a great place to buy your cars. They help you very well. So far, I have been very satisfied with the Camry I purchased.
Last week I purchased a 2017 KIA Sportage from Kings Toyota with the help of Ian Tabor who went above and beyond any sales rep Ive ever work with. This is the 2nd vehicle weve purchased from the Kings Dealer group. I will happily go out of my way to give them my business in the future! ( I live in Brookville IN)
I have been here three separate times and all of my experiences have been frustrating. My boyfriend and I were car shopping during COVID because his lease was coming up, we went to Kings Toyota to see what they have (we got his first lease there) we were there probably thirty minutes walking around the front. All the sales people are sitting right there inside, chatting, no one came out to work with us. Their showroom had no signage that they were by appointment only, but the sales guy we tried to talk to was very quick to tell us that, and rudely as well.I also took my car for an oil change there, it took over two hours. I have a Toyota RAV4, I still don’t know why it took double the time they said it would to change their car make.So today we go to turn in his lease, no one has a mask on (they are state mandated inside), customers or employees. Then they try to ask us if we’ve picked out another car yet. So before they couldn’t be bothered to even open the door to tell us they are by appointment but now they’re asking us day of turn in if we’d like to buy another car with them. Ridiculous.
I went in for a 5,000 mile oil change and was pleasantly surprised that since I use synthetic oil, I wasnt yet due. Jaime Iacono asked if there was anything else I needed and he could reset the maintenance required light. I asked for a tire rotation. Jaime led me to the customer waiting room and explained that the checkout site had moved and pointed out where I would go. I had a short wait in a comfortable chair. When they told me my car was ready, I headed to checkout where the multi-point inspection showed all was good. Everyone was friendly and helpful. I got a car wash and was on my way.
We had an amazing experience. I am an active duty military member, and based out of state. The sales team, especially Josh Allen, did so much to help us with the car buying process. So very helpful and just a great person that wants to help you instead of himself like most salesmen. We will definitely be doing business with Kings Toyota again!
I recently purchased my third car from Kings Toyota. My salesman was Joe Heckler and Joe was top notch as usual. Never any pressure just plenty of honest answers to my questions. My family and I have bought five cars from Kings and make the hour drive because of their great service. All of the folks at Kings have been outstanding. We recently went in for a free oil change and it was raining outside. We wanted to walk over to a local restaurant and one of the service agents gave us an umbrella to borrow. We didnt ask for it she just saw our need and wanted to help. I will go to Kings as long as I can. I do wish it was closer. By the way, I am from Dayton Ohio and none of the toyota dealer in the Dayton area even come close to Kings Toyota sales and service...Rick
Used dealership is wonderful. My wife and I have bought several cars from the used dealership with great experiences. However, this past weekend a friend and I went to the new cars dealership and it was the worst experience I have ever had at a car dealership. As a young man looking at new cars I’m relatively used to not being taken as seriously as middle aged people, but this time I wasnt asked if I needed assistance at all. I was ready to purchase a new TRD 4Runner for my wife and received zero assistance while looking at the car. I received better assistance at the BMW dealership. I will be taking my business elsewhere for a new 4Runner.
I purchased a 2021 Toyota Tacoma TRD PRO from this dealership and have had a truly horrible experience as a customer. The customer service has been unacceptable, they had no interest in earning my business at any point in the sale, and before I could pickup my new truck they damaged it!! While repairing their first damages, they damaged it again!! Stay away from this dealership!!!!
Professional and courteous service check in by Kyle W was expedient and pleasant. Customer Service Specialist Paul Theobold reviewed and explained the multi-point inspection and patiently answered my questions. He then escorted me to my car. I very much appreciated the plastic covering my cloth seat and the paper on the floor board. Great service once again Toyota.
Got a great price on a used car here, but the car only came with one key. Salesman told me about a guy who typically is on their lot on Tuesdays who can program and key duplicate fobs way cheaper than the dealer can. I called a couple weeks after to inquire and left a message with my salesman, but he never returned my call. It seems he was more interested in making a sale. Clean and spacious facility with a ton of cars displayed.
Roger was AMAZING! I bought my car from Kings 8 years ago, now my 2 sons have purchased their cars from Kings. Roger never pressured us, only encouraged us that we could get my son into something he loved for his price range. Definitely go see Roger Mukherjee at Kings Auto Mall off of Fields Ertle!
Always have been able to get in quickly and very impressed with how quickly they complete the work. I grew up working on automobiles and I often just do the air filter changes myself as it’s easy with my experience, however all the servicing and other issues I leave for their excellent service. My service advisor was Kevin Wilmoth and he was courteous, professional and very efficient. I’ve always been satisfied with their work and will continue to use them.
We had a very pleasant experience dealing with Mike Rutherford, our sales rep. The whole process was no pressure and very professional. The facility was clean, comfortable and organized. The quality of the custom leather work was much better than another dealer we shopped. We also got a slightly better deal with Kings. Our service appointments have been convenient and courteous. We feel very well taken care of and highly recommend this dealership.
I was recently at Kings Toyota due to a couple of safety recalls on my vehicle. Melissa Fischer was my service advisor. She was very helpful and also made me aware of some further work I would need to get done on my vehicle in the future. Never had a bad experience at kings Toyota. They are always professional and efficient.
DON’T GO HERE FOR USED CARSReally disappointed with the used dealership. Was interested in a car they had, emailed them before, got a quote for the loan for it. Drove 3 hours to come to King’s. Went there on a Sunday, test drove it, had Pat as the salesman, seemed decent enough. Was then told that the 72 month loan would bump up the APR. Kinda annoyed me considering that using the 60 month loan would bump up the payment but no big deal yet. My girlfriend signs papers for all the legal stuff including the loan and we leave with the car. The next day, I get a call from the finance lady we spoke to about the loan. Turns out they were “guessing” what the bank would accept for the terms of the loan. Also turns out the bank wouldn’t accept the terms they guessed, and either wanted 10x the down payment we gave or wanted a co-signer. I was then gently pressured to put myself as a co-signer (as my girlfriend has no one else) which I didn’t want to do. I put my foot down and told them that she had already signed the terms of it and they needed to figure it out without my co-signer or a bigger down payment. The next day, I get a response saying that the payment will now be even higher than originally quoted. This whole process seems very unprofessional and very much so like King’s was trying to swindle some kids for some money. Very unhappy with the communication or lack there of.
Weve been using Kings Toyota for several years! It is a great team of people that believe in customer service! Collin Delaney is a fantastic customer service rep who takes the time to make things right. He is always helpful and kind and works to make the experience as easy on the customer as possible!
We have been a Toyota customer for over 7 years now. We leased 2 cars and due to us being a crunch were forced to just get another one. This third round was by far the worst experience ever. They try and take out every little thing that was included in my last 2 lease agreements. Then a small matter we realized we did not get floor mats even though the model we were looking at had them in it. We immediately asked kings about it and they told us to come in. My wife came in today and was given a run around and poor customer service. The lady was not pleasant saying we read the sticker price and what was in it and mats were extra. Weunfortunately were naive to trust in our sales person to take care of us like the last 2 times and give us floor mats so we can protect the car being a lease. They said we have to buy them. Long story short be careful with these guys and make sure you ask for everything because what you see in the car you ask for is not everything you are getting. Last lease with Kings Toyota for sure!
We have always been very happy with Kings Toyota, especially with COLLIN DELANEY. He is always very friendly, helpful, and honest when it comes to making sure I understand what my car needs. Sophie Kidd was also very helpful when Collin was on break. They both deserve commendation. Keep up the awesome work!
Went in today to get our Jeep Grand Cherokee appraised because we only had 3 months left on our lease. Had our eyes set on 2020 4Runner limited as a replacement. Wanda Maston was our sales rep and was amazing to work with. We got money out of our Jeep and closed the deal that day. Never thought it would happen that day but we got the deal we were looking for so we decided to do it. Totally recommend Kings Toyota and especially Wanda Maston!!! Thank you so much!
We have always dealt with small dealerships in the past but went to Kings Auto Mall so we could compare several different vehicles. Our first stop was Kings Toyota and we were greeted and helped by Eric Driscoll. He was extremely helpful and answered all of our questions accurately, made a few recommendations based on our responses to his questions and never gave us any pressure. We returned to Kings Toyota a few days later to get our trade appraised and again Eric was very helpful. We found this to be a low stress fairly easy transaction and would recommend him to anyone wanting a professional, knowledgeable, helpful person to work with. Everyone at the dealership was impressive.
The service was terrible and there was a lot more attention given to others even though they showed up after me and I had an appointment. I am African American and really felt they did not value my service as much as others. I had 2 people tell me they would come out and help and they never showed up. I had to go back inside and stand there before I received attention. There was a car I wanted to buy but they said instantly told me there was no room for negotiations even though I showed them the same exact car on there website that was sold the day before for similar mileage and same exact car, but they wanted $1,500 more for the car I looked at. I asked for a few hundred off at least since the car was just sold yesterday for $1,500 less than the price they had it for (same car and everything), but, in the parking lot, it was a no and no room for discussion. It didn’t seem like they wanted to work with me at all so I just left.
We went car shopping with the intent to buy a new vehicle. We originally purchase Honda vehicles but since this dealership is right across the street we figured why not go give it a look.Well, that was a mistake. We asked to look at two vehicles and the salesman asked if we had an appointment. We didn’t because when I car shop, like most people, I don’t make appointments everywhere. I just go and look. The salesman acted inconvenienced and proceeded to tell us we couldn’t test drive without an appointment?? Sounded odd to me so I mentioned that I would just go back to the Honda dealership. Suddenly, I was able to test drive.I had such a bad taste in my mouth from the initial interaction that I went back to Performance Kings Honda. I purchased a CRV and was very pleased with their service and fairness.TLDR: don’t bother going here.
My wife and I bought 2 cars from here in the last 2 weeks. This place is amazing. They gave us top dollar for our trade-ins and 0.9% interest, free oil changes, free tire rotations and free car washes for the lifetime of the vehicles. David Cornett is an excellent salesman for both new and used cars. Truly a class act. A+++
Collin Delaney is exceptional in customer service. Collin is always courteous and always schedules my appointments in a timely manner. If he knows it is going to take more than an hour, he will make arrangements to get me back to work or a rental car, so my wait is not long at all. I haven’t always had a pleasant experience at Kings Service, but now that Collin takes care of my 4Runner, I have had no issues.
Everybody at Kings Toyota is wonderful they treated me like a real person they did not rush me to buy a vehicle they gave me time to let me make up my mind what I wanted I work with sales person Adam which is a wonderful sales person if you buy he loves it if you don’t he still loves it he’s a good man. I would recommend kings Toyota to anybody and I will buy from them again.
Had a visit to Kings service department yesterday March 13,2019. It was exceptional due to effort of Matt McGee.The tire warning light on the dash was bright and at start up it would flash. I just returned from Florida and was told that a valve stem monitor was bad and needed to be replaced at a cost of $211.Matt said let me get it checked out and we will determine if that’s the problem. He came back to the waiting room and told me it justed needed to be reprogrammed at a $0 cost.Yes, no cost.Wow, how long has it been that I was told no cost vs feeling like I was being gouged.I take my sons car in tomorrow at Kings for four new tires with the feeling I will be charged fairly. Kings has restored my faith in fair treatment at a car dealer. Thanks Matt McGee!
Very bad customer service after the deal is closed. I had hard time getting support from both; sales and financing teams. Not professional at all... I wonder how theyre getting 4.5 on Google reviews. They made a mistake on my paper work and put the cosigners name on all places. We fixed that after weeks of calls and last thing my title was sent to me with the cosigners name showing as the owner. Now, my temporary tag is expired and Toyota is saying we sent you the corrected one, its been a month of calls and complaints but nothing received!!!
My mother, Donna and I had a really good experience at Kings Toyota about 2 weeks ago. I had to go on here and tell you. We met DJ and told him we were looking at Used Honda Pilots. He asked my mother what she was driving now, a Green 2003 Toyota Highlander. He actually showed us a nice gently used 2013 Pilot and a 2013 Toyota Highlander. Even though white was not on her high list of colors, my mother really liked it since it was a lot like hers, a Limited. No pressure, we drove it. They gave us what she wanted in trade + $250 more, if we would agree to the deal. The used car sales manager was pleasant and could tell they really wanted my moms cream puff even though she had 200k miles on it. Needless to say my mom bought the car and loves it a lot! I asked a gal in service to see how she liked them and said great, been coming for years. They only recommend it, if it absolutely needs it.Go see DJ!! Nice people there. FYI Mom is going to switch to them from Performance for all her car needs. Thanks, Steve
I try to make it known when I receive good service and good value. (I do more than enough crabbing and grumbling, after all.) So, Ill post a word about the service department at Kings Toyota. On Jan. 2, I took my Prius V in for its 80,000-mile service. Everyone was courteous and efficient, from the check-in with Kory Booker, to the woman at the new cashiers desk. (Sorry, I should have asked her name.) With the exception of a few quibbles over the past five years, I can honestly say that Kings Toyota easily is the best dealership Ive dealt with in 50-plus years of driving. It doesnt hurt that theyre selling, in my view, a superior product. When the time comes to buy a new car, Kings certainly will be the place we start looking. OK. Now I can go back to crabbing and grumbling :)
My Service Adviser, Collin Delaney, recently handled my routine visit for service on my Tundra. I was happy to get in Collins line because he has managed my visits twice before. He has a great combination of a sincere personality and true professionalism and is about the best automotive company employee I have ever dealt with. Quite an asset to Kings Toyota and all of Toyota. Thanks very much for your fine service department, also the best I have ever experienced, on several occasions.
I recently had a wonderful experience at King Toyota. Bruce Ihle was extremely thorough when explaining the benefits of the car I was interested in and with no pressure. I felt he was sincere in getting me what I wanted rather than what he was trying to sell me.All of the associates were friendly and helpful. Thank you all for making my car buying experience so enjoyable.
I just purchased my 2014 Corolla from Kings Toyota and I love it! Im a first time buyer and the folks at Kings made the process so easy. They really took the time to explain the car I was buying which made me feel a lot better about my investment. Rob Schoenhoft and Carl Rinaldi were great, they never pressured me to buy and helped me get the car that I wanted and in my budget. They also made sure I knew the services available to me at the dealership. Great place to get a car and Ill be back in the future.
Just purchased my first brand new vehicle, a 2018 Toyota Rav4 from Kings Toyota. I had a great experience with Chris McMahan. The man from financing was less than helpful, but the highly recommend buying from Chris due to his knowledge and honest personality. He even follow-up called us to see how we like our new car. I love when people put in effort to build professional relationships. When we went to purchase the car and select the warranty, the man explaining it (different from Chris), did not seem very knowledgeable, nor did he care to explain to us what all the warranty covers. Apparently, bumper-to-bumper does not include tires. At any rate, we had been there all day and were ready to go home for sure. But it was a good experience.
Limited selection of new RAV4, no printed brochures, and nobody offered to help me. I even showered before shopping! The indoor, air-conditioned showroom was nice. If you prefer to shop for a new Toyota the same way that you shop for fresh produce, then Kings Toyota is your new car connection!
Just purchased my 3rd vehicle from Kings Toyota and as usual the staff treated us very well. Rob Schoenhoft the GM does a great job making sure things run smoothly and that excellent customer service is provided by all the staff. Eric Driscoll took plenty of time to answer questions, crunch numbers, and figure out what vehicle and what deal made the most sense for us (and trust me we are not easy to please).
Lewis Collins is an awesome help and very personable! So helpful and knowledgeable. Doesn’t cut around the facts and let’s you know what you need and how to get it. Got a new 2019 Toyota Corolla and I’ve never been happier in my life! First new car I’ve ever bought and I look forward to one day hopefully doing business at this Toyota again. I highly recommend this auto mall as they also have great deals and money off!
I am utterly disappointed with the way Kings Toyota has set their policies during this pandemic situation. I was at their store today to get my car serviced. Since the recall service on my car was going to take more than 3 hrs, they asked me if I am willing to go for a loaner car. I said yes (although they could have mentioned that when I took the appointment so I could have made some arrangements). I told them that even though my driving license got expired end of May 2020, it is still valid for 90 days based on OH BMV directions because of the COVID-19 state of emergency declared in OH. But they rejected that and said they cannot give me a loaner car as my license is not currently valid. It looks like Kings Toyota is not willing to go with the rules and regulations set by the Government. I had to finally uber putting my life at risk with the virus. Very disappointing! From OH BMV Site: If your license, ID card, or vehicle registration (including plates and stickers) expired on or after March 9, 2020, your expiration date has been automatically extended until 90 days after Ohios state of emergency ends or December 1, 2020, whichever comes first.
Great Sales experience poor service experience. It seems purchasing the extended warranty on a car here is like playing the lotto. Sometimes you win sometimes you lose and the odds are always against you. New car comes with lifetime oil change. Had two poor service experiences.
Lana, I believe was her name was extremely rude! I received a text saying my truck was ready and to proceed to the cashier. She stopped me dead in my tracks and asked for my name to let them know and I just said what do you mean since I already received a text saying it was ready and to literally go directly to the cashier. She was really rude about the entire situation. She couldve just explained that due to covid they are only allowing one person at a time back there. I didnt know her purpose, every other time Ive been here shes always sat there doing nothing, I could only assume it was the same today. I know I have free oil changes for life, but Ill definitely pay for them elsewhere now. She lost you all a customer. Ill buy my cars elsewhere also.
I had a complex problem with low speed vibration on my 2016 Tacoma. I brought it in for repairs that I paid for as well as a rental. The problem did not go away so I brought it back- the problem they found was with the leaf springs. Darnell Howard did a fine job working with me- Kings went to bat for me and Toyota covered the repair even though my truck was just out of warranty. Took longer that I wanted however at the end of the day, the truck is fixed.
This review is not about the hard-working, decent people of Kings Toyota. I appreciate their hard work and they have always treated me right. Rather this review is about the fact that this business has the worst business phone system on the planet. You simply cannot get hold of anyone in the service department. I was exasperated for days calling the number listed for service that was actually a call center that would then transfer you to a line that would hang up. What happened to the friendly receptionist that would transfer you to the right department? And the friendly voice that would actually help you? Their useless call center needs to go if I am to continue as a Kings Toyota customer! Lets have some personal service already!
Buyer beware of purchasing the extended warranty. I bought a used car there back in 2016, and agreed to purchase the extended warranty which should have covered most all of the basic mechanical failures of the car. Took my car there for service this morning and asked them to fix the accordian part in my sunroof which just broke on its own.... learned that it is not covered under the extended warranty. WOW. A $250 job that they wont cover, very disappointing!
Spent a lot of time looking around, took up a lot of my salespersons time. I really appreciated how I was made to feel! Very laid back but extremely helpful. I knew I would be buying from them and they walked me through everything so nicely. I went to other dealerships and didnt like their vibe at all, Tim Klenk was amazing Im buying all my cars from him from now on! Even the billing manager TD was so nice and funny and efficient. Wild. Who knew you could have a nice experience
I recently purchased a vehicle from this dealership. I like the vehicle but unfortunately I did not have a positive experience with the dealership. They were not very customer friendly. I do not think they honestly presented their policies and when challenged they did not seem to care. I had to find info on my own and share it back with them. I dont think it acceptable that they either dont know their own policies (and need to be educated by the customer) or choose to misrepresent them. Also they were unresponsive when I had questions after the purchase. After several emails I had to include the GM and follow-up with a phone call before anyone would respond. Overall it was a bad experience.
I had bought a 2006 Toyota Matrix , with 92K miles on it, slightly over the market price, but I am satisfied with the purchase. Drove about 3K miles till now, no issues. Carl Rinaldi was the sales person, he had enough patience to walk me around for more than an hour over the lot & help me find a car in my budget & choice. Their 6 Month & 6000 miles warranty is a nice feature. Their service was better, they explained me on all the features, helped me with the details on documentation & loan processes. I might consider them for my next purchase even.
Service department wants to sell you things you dont need. DO NOT GET SERVICE THERE!Went to Kings for oil change on my Rav4, they said my battery was in the red, in need of immediate attention. I blew it off, since I had installed a new battery months before (somewhere else). 10,000 miles later, I went in for another oil change, they told me the same thing. So I went back to where it was originally purchased, thinking I may have a bad battery. They tested it, and gave me a print out of results. It was good. I went back to Kings and asked the manager about it. They said there are many factors that could contribute to a low battery reading (like sitting in car with radio and/or lights on, etc.) blah, blah, blah. IMPOSSIBLE! I had just driven 1.5 hours from Columbus each time, so I know it was charged up. Of course, they then tested it and what a miracle! The battery was fine!! Can you imagine!!! How many people would have purchased a new battery?? And what do they do with a brand new battery?I am so angry with them, as I have purchased many cars from them. Now I know I can not trust them, and you should not either. I hate to ask this, is it because I am a woman? I feel like I got double talk, and untrustworthy service. I thought we were beyond those days.
I thought I had an appointment scheduled for the day before Thanksgiving, but it was actually for the following week. Even though they were packed and crazy and could have turned me away, they were super nice about getting me in and getting everything that my car needed done. I specifically drive an hour to buy my cars and get my cars serviced at Kings Toyota. They have the best customer service ever!
Kings Toyota gives great service! My service manager, Sophie Kidd, checked on my sunroof repair and found out that it was still under warranty, so it was repaired at no charge! Best of all, I didnt even have to wait at the dealership, as their free shuttle service took me home and back when my car was ready. Thank you Kings Toyota!
Although we havent purchased a car here yet, this is one of the two favorite stops in the auto mall. The salesman we had was not pushy at all, made the car shopping experience enjoyable/informative, very attentive, showed us the different vehicles that would work best for us, spent time with each car/van in the show room without hesitation. Whether we were buying or not, he acted like we were. The price was average to high and didnt seem like great discounts, but let us know about a couple or small online coupons to apply.
Excellent experience! This is my 3rd car from Kings Toyota and was very pleased with the process from start to completion. Salesperson was very knowledgeable on the SUV we purchased. They did not have the color we were looking for, but did locate and have delivered the next day. Highly recommend if you are in the market for a Toyota.
Most disappointing experience I have every had with a car dealership. Asked about the availability of used Toyota 4runner the night before, received three emails including one from the salesperson I was supposed to meet that the 4runner was available. Arrive at the planned time only to be told sorry someone in the dealership bought it the night before. Really poor customer service after driving 45 mins to get there only to have them try to bait and switch vehicles once we arrived.
3 weeks ago I leased the 2015 Prius V and the service was wonderful. Love how professional and courteous everyone was. Its nice to work with people who actually know what they are doing! Communication between different departments was simple and I appreciate that. Ive worked with other dealerships that dont seem to have the fluidity. Our salesman, Bruce Blackburn, was FANTASTIC and I highly recommend him.
I purchased a used vehicle Friday afternoon from Kings Toyota in as-is condition after receiving an email from the salesman that listed the items that were found during the service check & that were repaired as agreed when I put my deposit down. His email also said the rest all good. Saturday afternoon I tried to open the passenger side window & it wouldnt open. I also tried the DVD system which was one of the main reasons for purchasing the Honda Odyssey, that doesnt work either. I called & emailed the salesman immediately and when I heard back from him several hours later, he said he would speak to the Sales Manager. I spoke to the sales mgr a few times Saturday evening and after being talked down to by him as to when I was going to take ownership, I was told the dealer would not fix these items that were obviously broken when we bought it. We take responsibility for not trying the front window or dvd system - when they said it was going through the Toyota service department, we thought everything would be checked. We were told only after the fact that only safety & mechanical options were checked. When only 2 windows open in a van, I would consider a non-working window a safety issue if I had to escape w/ my 3 children! There is the 3 day exchange policy, but only if you have something of equal to or less than vehicle available, which you dont. Chris finally offered to (quite conveniently) have it checked by your service department today, then I could use my coupon for 50% off of service...I asked for everything in writing from the sales mgr Saturday & have not heard back. He assured me he would send me an email yesterday when he got into the showroom. I wanted it in writing that since today is the 3rd day, I will not miss out on the opportunity to exchange this vehicle if the opportunity presents itself or that I will held accountable if my mileage is over 300 miles since I live in northern Kentucky. It is now 10:45 on Monday morning and I have yet to hear from him as to scheduling a service visit.I have purchased cars from both dealers and private owners over the years and this is honestly the worst experience Ive ever had. As I told the sales mgr, $7000 may not seem like a lot to him, but to my family, it is. That is all we can pay for a safe, reliable vehicle for our family - I cant pay for additions after the fact. We wanted the Honda Odyssey EX-L because of all the amenities it offered - leather seating & DVD system. Our salesman has been very friendly and helpful during this process, but after the deal was done, weve received horrible customer service & feel we have been taken. If something broke after we brought it home or if we had been made aware of it during the sale, we would understand, but this is just plain old scamming. I find it hard to believe that 2 major items would break within 24 hours. I understand purchasing a vehicle as-is but only when its the vehicle I was told I would be getting. As the largest Toyota dealer in the nation, I would expect much more from that team - not the arrogance I was given.

2022-01-12I can’t speak to the Sales department or Parts department but the Service Department is awful. I had them change my wife’s RAV4 oil and when it was time again for another oil change I decided to do it myself since Kings had no available appointments for a month. The person at Kings Service Dept that put the oil filter on must have used an impact wrench. It was on so tight that I had to use an 18” breaker bar to get it loose. It actually broke the oil filter housing trying to break it loose. I called the Service Dept to see what they would do about it and the person said a representative from that Dept would call me back. Nobody EVER called back. I ended up going to a different dealer to get the new part to fix it. Kings Service Department has no clue how to work on their own vehicles and won’t stand behind their work. Horrible customer service. I would highly recommend Andy one needing service (or Sale’s for that matter) to try Performance Toyota in Fairfield. I will never go to Kings Toyota again.

2022-06-09We bought a new 2022 Highlander Platinum Hybrid from King’s Toyota. Great experience from start to finish. Darrell Gesell took great care of us, was very professional and engaging. He gave us an in depth overview of the vehicle and all the features. He focused on us the entire time, was not in any hurry and ensured that our questions were answered. Special thanks to Jeff Carmichael and the entire staff at King’s. I would highly recommend this team for your next car purchase.

2022-05-05Waited in the lobby while my car was getting serviced and the waiting lobby “receptionist” (an old brunette woman) is talking politics and talking bad about our president. I don’t care what leaning you are; it is UNPROFESSIONAL TO TALK POLITICS at WORK. Gives this place a trashy feel to it. If this unprofessionalism is what Kings Toyota okays; what other areas are affected? Think I will be taking my service elsewhere from now on.

2022-04-01I have purchased multiple Toyotas over the years, however, this was my first time doing business with Kings Toyota. This was the best experience yet! Craig and Joshua were so helpful throughout the process! Craig was able to score the vehicle that I wanted for the price that I wanted and Joshua made the finance paperwork process so easy and explained everything perfectly! I was in and out of the dealership within 15 minutes! If I could give more than 5 stars I would! Thank you Kings Toyota!

2022-04-27Scheduled an oil change and tire rotation for first appointment on a Saturday to hopefully have a quick in and out. Was driving out in less than an hour. Got home and my husband noticed a puddle of oil under my car. Called service. Said to drive back and i mentioned my concern about running out of oil. Nobody had an ownership reaponse. Said i could leave message with service manager but it would be at least 2 days before i would get call back. We decided my husband would follow me back in case i had to pull over. Got oil leaking issue fixed. None of the 3 people i left messages with has called back. It is now 5 days later. So much for trying to be efficient with my time. Also, no offer of refund or compensation for an issue clearly caused by the maintenance staff.

2022-03-31Bought both my Toyotas from Kings Toyota. Took my Highlander in for service, and on the way home the tire pressure light came on. I called, and they saw me the following week to fix it. On the way home, the tire pressure light came on again, I called and they saw me the following Monday. They found a nail in a tire and plugged it. On the way home the tire pressure light came on again. I called today -NOW MY FOURTH TIME OF TRYING TO GET THIS FIXED, and they suggested I make yet another appointment or take it to a closer dealer because they are an hour away. Their customer service person said they could come get the vehicle, but thought she would have to check to make sure. She called me back to tell me they would not approve coming to get the Highlander. Ive spent 6 hours driving to get there which is my own fault. Their reputation was great and I didnt plan on spending that much time in and out of any service department. I wont be buying another vehicle from them. Ever.

2022-06-05This dealership excells in its customer service. Our salesman, Nick, kept us updated on our vehicle delivery. Every time we visited, the staff were welcoming and courteous. Cars are in short supply for all the same reasons weve been hearing about for months. However that didnt hamper Nick in doing a great job on our behalf. We cant give this dealership high enough praise.

2022-04-22We walked into the new car showroom looking for the used cars. Was very impressed to learn so much about the quality of the new cars. Not one pushy salesman in the establishment new or in the used car lot. Loved our experience and will surely be coming back in the next few years.

2022-05-13Im a younger looking guy, I came in looking to purchase a car. Im assuming because of my age they figured I cant afford buying a new vehicle so I was mostly ignored throughout the showroom while all the employees gathered around a gentleman in a suit. It wouldnt have killed anyone to talk to me about options, what my budget is and so forth. I was ready to put down close to 35% down payment. This is the second time this has happened to me at this location. I came in about a year ago to look at purchasing a new car, not a single salesman even walked up to me.I figured maybe they were busy and I came at a bad day so I gave them a shot again which was a waste of time. I highly dislike how I felt being treated in the location. Will not be coming back.

2022-02-18Im a first time Toyota buyer and I was very specific that I wanted a new 2022 silver Corolla. I called 5 Toyota dealers in the Tristate and nobody was able to help until I got in touch with salesman Dave Henn at Kings Toyota. He found me my car and was great with keeping me informed from the manufacture of my car in MS until delivery at the dealership 4 weeks later. Paperwork went smoothly esp. liked the electronic signing. I really enjoyed the experience working with Dave and will be coming back to Kings next time I need to purchase a vehicle.
