Great food, friendly staff, recently renovated. Pink lemonade is extremely good. Only thing that stinked was you cant get grilled chicken unless you cater.

Horrible service. 2 orders of clams that was not enough for a toddler. Missing a drink and extra fish. When I went back to get what was missing, I was spoken to like I was a dog. Asked another person who came to give an order to someone else if there was a manager here. He said inside. I asked if it was the person that was nasty to me and told it was. He was the manager.

Its not really that big of a deal but theres a younger girl there thats extremely rude.I was picking up an order and because it was raining decided to go through drive-thru (Ive picked up orders through there before) and since I was the only car in line I thought it would be okay. I kindly tell them at the speaker box that I had an order to pick up and this girl rudely tells me that I need to go inside the lobby for that. I was the only car in drive through and they had no customers in the lobby so they werent busy at all lolSo whatever, I park and go inside to get the order and while I was waiting...I could hear her loudly whining about something and acting like a spoiled child to the manager. I could just tell that her coworkers hate working with her lolThe guy that ended up giving me my order was really nice though, Im assuming he was the manager. I feel bad that he has to deal with that though honestly 🤷♀️
Dried up gross chicken didnt even fill my famous bowl up right. It tasted like I was eating clumps of dirt. Im so disappointed that Kentucky fried chicken in Vandalia can mess up fried chicken.
Spicy sandwich was fire. The Long John Silvers was fire. Bomb food.
Asked for butter and ketchup, but had to pull over and wait for the food, which is okay. Food comes out and I drove home. No butter, no ketchup, and unbelievably no napkins, and no plastic ware. One would think napkins would be a given. $15 an hour? Get real.
The chicken was awful (old and dried out) and we paid for 8 pieces and only got 6.
Went to eat there with family from out of town...so we ate inside but we should have ate outside probably would have been better it was 84 in the dining area...and they also do not give out or have any paper plates so if you order a family meal prepare to take it home or bring silverware...and be careful because I hurt my bone in my foot from what feels like them mopping the floor with grease....😷🙃🤣
This place is both Long John Silver and KFC, so you can get fish and chicken, unlike some other locations. Like most fast food spots most workers are hs or college students. They start at $12. Maybe needs a visible manager. But the food today was hot and good. Probably the best fish in Vandalia and at a decent price.

Wrong order, pop was like drinking ice water, 1/2 full box of fries, & chicken tasted like oil was old ( or over cooked). Never go to this business again. Especially with the costs of their prices, you would figure it would be better
It was ok. Kind of late. Didnt have much original recipe. Got mixed 4 piece meal. Spices didnt seem right on original. I hadnt really eaten anything all day so that helped make it a little better. Im a big KFC eater and for my standers Ill haft to give a 1. Would be a 2 bit like I said didnt have enough original recipe. Service was good fast and polite.
BLUF: Dont order online for this place! 2 BAD EXPERIENCES.A 20 minute wait at 7pm on a friday. Must be extremely poorly managed.Update: ordered online and 15 minutes later we arrived as it said on the website, they said 30 minutes wait longer and to call the 800 number to cancel my order.20 minutes on hold, goes to an answering machine. Called back again and the same happens again.

Im giving 2 starts because the order was hot and they got part of it correct. I ordered a famous bowl with extra gravy and extra cheese, as I always do. Im given my order only to realize that there is no fork so I have to drive back around to get one. Long story short, I got a bowl of mashed potatoes, rock hard chicken, and a ton of gravy. No cheese. No corn. My pregnant self is heart broken.

Most of the food at this kfc has been good and service was okay. But i feel it has room for improvement. We got some shrimp from the long john silvers here the other day that were old, overcooked, and very salty.The pot pies were good.
The breading had a different taste, tasted like cinnamon. The chicken was ok, very small leg and not much meat was on the thigh. Loved the fries, hot, slightly salted and crispy...
Great customer service leadership by the Manager on duty. She was positive, friendly. She let me know her concern about not having the right combination of foods available and the required wait for fresh white meat chicken. This allowed me the choice to wait or rearrange my order. I rearranged my order with no problems or delays. Her coming around the dinning room to check on everyones meal was greatly appreciated. Her waving goodbye and wishing us a great trip was wonderfully refreshing. I would definitely stop at this KFC again.
Young lady working the window left Cole slaw out of my order. I went back to get it and watched her fill the cole slaw half up and then say its fine, whatever. Had to tell her to fill it up just to get my cole slaw. 0 stars, employee deserves less than minimum wage or to be fired
I have gone to this location more times than I care to count, and every time, they get my order wrong,or they dont have the pieces of chicken available that I want. This happens at peak times like lunch or dinner rush, and its super disappointing. Who doesnt have chicken legs at a chicken restaurant at rush times? Also, if I order a meal that comes with a drink,but do not want the drink,how am I still paying for said drink? I went inside to order,and while waiting for a refund on the order I placed because they didnt have what I wanted(should have checked before charging me out) a customer from the drive thru came inside missing items from their order. Typical of this location. The guy ringing up my order said he couldnt explain to me why I was still being charged for a drink I didnt want,while laughing, stating he was just a crew member. Everyone else who I have encountered at this location seemed like they couldnt care less about customer service, rather get you out of the way and collect a paycheck from being on a clock somewhere, anywhere. I have given this location the last of my time. I was a paying customer,who shouldnt have to work this hard to get what I want. Not anymore. Thanks for nothing KFC. The incompetence at this location is astounding.
Cashier had snot hanging from her nose while waiting on customer. We went back today April 6. They had run out of chicken.. What a way to start our weekend. We work 6 days a week. We were looking forward toward a good chicken meal. We went home and made lunch.
My experience at fast food restraunts lately has left a lot to be desired. Quite refreshingly, today at KFC in Vandalia was just the opposite. Friendly service, efficient, and they got the order right. The manager on duty was directing her staff and worked through the rush. Thank you for the experience!
The chicken was bloody & half raw. They gave two other customers their for before we got ours. They paid after we did. I asked them about it. They said it will be a minute. Then she goes back to do orders, she talked bad about me to the other workers. Ill never go to that KFC again. They are rude.
Order was wrong. It got changed but when I asked for honey and hot sauce it was thrown to me. Didnt appreciate the attitude. Will not be going back. Food was ok.

I was not given my card back yesterday after dinner. After calling to confirm they did have it, I arrive amongst dinner rush. I understand- its 445 and everyone wants chicken, but its now 515 and I am just now walking out. There has been no line for 10 minutes and after being acknowledged once and asking twice its just now brought out to me. I am angry that the rest of my evening is 30 min late and my errands have to wait until tomorrow. I usually have to wait for my food but for a debit card?? This is ridiculous!
I ordered a $20 fill up bucket through the drive-thru. They asked if I wanted extra crispy, and I said yes please! When I got home, I had original and my kids cried. I called and got an apology, but no offer to fix the problem. I wont be back to this location.
The chicken was great, got our order right, and it was hot. 4 stars only because the drive thru wait was lengthy, but I guess thats to be expected during dinner rush . Was there at 7pm and left about 725.

Bought a three piece tender meal, except for themashed potatoes, you couldn’t eat the meal! The biscuit was hard as a rock, the tenders weredry and impossible to chew and the cole slawwas dry (no moisture at all). A complete waste of $7.98 and that didn’t include a drink. Make the drive to Lee’s, it can’t be this bad.

The Long John Silvers side of KFC offers a very large and tasty fish 🌮 taco, and inside of the soft taco shell you will be delighted to discover a nice portion of their yummy coleslaw and a large piece of fish. Cost is only about $2, and for me, one is sufficient.
Got a chicken potato bowl with extra cheese with no gravy and corn, and asked for fries, coleslaw, and green beans in the side, but instead got mash potatoes and gravy and Mac and cheese. The cheese in my bowl tasted old and disgusting. I spent $14, and will not be returning.

It seems LJS has started reducing the size of their fish fillets. They are about half as thick as they used to be. This kinda makes them almost if not more breading than fish. All I taste is breading. I see LJS on a downward trend and this is only going to make it worse. I will not be eating there anymore. This is a company wide thing I’ve noticed.

Just off 75 for lots of food choices. KFC was about 1/4 mile off the interstate. Chicken tenders was hot and good bucket meal.
Very disappointed / didnt give us free senior drinks with our meal as we get at Vandalia KFC/ ordered 2 drums & 2 thighs as I get at Vandalia for $5, Troy KFC price was $7.50 / when I questioned the price at the carry-out window a rude male voice, we dont have those specials here.I guess the difference franchises are not consistent, so if I want chicken living in Tipp City, Ill go south to Vandalia, instead of north to Troy.

Just went through the drive thru I ordered 2 chicken and a fish meal , got all the way home and I had no fish just a bunch of tartar sauce , I got fries as a side and had 5 fries in my basket,The chicken was good but the fish is what I look forward to, not happy

2022-04-23Cook didn’t want to be there. Counter help didn’t care if I got my food either. Called order in. Wasn’t ready you could here cook complaining. I sat down to wait for 20 minutes. Still wasn’t ready. Manager says are you waiting on take out order. It was fine they just didn’t care to tell me it’s done. I would have still been waiting on my food if manager hadn’t seen me. Terrible will never go back. Horrible service.

2022-05-16Run Down, also have been in for chicken sandwich a number of times, the sandwich is cold and probably past the time that it can stand in wait. Threw out for the second time. Seems that whoever is over this location should got this place straightened out!! I have spent my last penny there!!

2022-03-20Well to start, I was laughed at prior to being greeted at drive thru window. Then i was told I wasnt allowed to pick up my food via drive thru window, even though I ordered and paid for it on kfc.com. Once I entered building,I was laughed at for a second time. Employees are extremely rude, even with manager on site. Then after being treated poorly, I get home and food was missing. I wont be going back.

2022-01-01Why do you keep messing up my order? I should have known something was wrong when I got two KFC boxes instead of a Long John Silver box. The cashier should have known something was wrong when I asked for extra tartar sauce. If I didnt have to get to work I would be back asking why you guys make me feel like you really dont want my money.
