I have been living here from past 1 year and so far the experience is really good. The amenities are really good and well maintained. Staff here is very helpful especially the way they have handled all covid situations. They make you feel special with so many treats.Great place to live.
We have lived here about 3 1/2 years, and just signed another lease. We are so happy here! The staff is amazing! The maintenance is quick and efficient. Kenyon square communicates properly and returns calls/emails in a timely manner. Although it’s right next to the highway, there is absolutely no noticeable noise. The rec area and clubhouse is modern and clean, and you can’t pass up free beer and Starbucks coffee!
Absolutely SHAMEFUL!!!! I have to say I’m extremely disappointed in the management of this property. As I explained to the leasing contact at the BEGINNING of MAY, I was starting completely over after my oldest child passed away unexpectedly and was excited about FINALLY being able to rebuild my life with my two surviving children.I applied within that same week, paid theapplication and deposit fee, received approval and signed the lease on May 9th for 9 months at 10p only to notify them first thing the following morning that (so literally within 12 hours) that I could not move there. The first available move in date was Sept 6th although I had told them I would need to move by the end of July, beginning of August. They are now stating that I either move in or pay over $1300 to get out of the lease that still had 3 1/2 months yet for the unit to even BE available…PLENTY of time for them to find a new tenant for the highly sought after pool view (unit 405). Now instead of being able to have a little money to buy used furniture off of marketplace, it will be going to their black hole of unearned profit. They now refuse to even try to rent it out unless I pay up saying that if I don’t pay, I’ll be expected to start paying rent on the unit WHEN it becomes empty and available Sept 6th.Absolutely terrible company as they lack any ethics. It’s sad that they do not seem to take ant consideration nor care about their reputation. It’s all about money to them and it’s been made very clear that this is about people, just strong-arming a grieving mother. SHAMEFUL…..I’m embarrassed FOR them and send this warning out to anyone who considers renting from this organization. They DO NOT CARE and will take your money without regret.
I’ve lived at Kenyon Square for the past two years and LOVED it!! I truly felt spoiled to live in such a place! Beautiful apartments, great amenities & AMAZING management! They’re are so personal, love their tenants & are always going that extra mile to make us feel appreciated! Knowing them on a first name basis & them being so readily available to help with anything is so crucial! I also love the maintenance staff—they take good care of us at Kenyon & i have absolutely loved my time living there!!
Not worth the headache...Although it appears decent on the surface, it is quickly apparent that this ill-managed, horrible quality, and dysfunctional apartment complex is not a place youd want to live in. The apartment unit itself was average to decent, but everything else from the amenities to the management personnels ability to handle simple issues or complaints was 1 Star or below. They repeatedly screwed us in the two years we were there. When a water line broke, all tenants were without water access for 2 days with no communication or assistance from management. A literal fire broke out in a unit on our floor, once multiple firetrucks came and put it out, there was no check in on our well-being or even an email to tenants letting us know what happened and that everyone was okay. There was never notifications letting us know when packages arrived at the front desk, they would be back there for weeks before we had to hunt them down ourselves. Management couldnt even locate a smoke detector on our floor in need of new batteries that was beeping every 30 seconds for the last 9 months we were there. Before we moved in we read reviews and thought it would be a quality place to live, but after moving in, we noticed they created a new Yelp page because their old one had so many 1 star reviews and negative comments. Lastly, if Kenyon Square is your only choice and you are forced to live here, make sure to put all communication with management in writing. We were very proactive letting them know our move out timeline via email and they were flexible with our notice exception, but the final notice and exception was unfortunately made over the phone. The month after we moved out we noticed another months charge of rent and when we inquired they said it was because we didnt give notice in time. Now we had no leg to stand on since it wasnt in writing and was only a verbal agreement. We had to pay rent for an empty apartment.
“A great place to call home. The entire staff always greet you with a smile and are very helpful to our needs, and are quick to attend to any problems that arise . The grounds and facilities are kept clean every day by friendly courteous workers. Love my balcony view and the spacious walk in closet is amazing.Close by are restaurants and grocery stores. The pool area is lovely. I love the convenience of the elevators. To enter the building either you go in with a key code or I will receive a call from my phone from any visitor of mine to let him in.I live alone here and could not feel safer anywhere else....a beautiful neighborhood with parks and trails.
I’ve lived here for going on 4 months now, and I have loved the community! Although Covid made it longer for us to be able to enjoy all the wonderful amenities they offer, we have finally gotten the opportunity. They were very vocal during the whole process, about when and how they were going to open for our enjoyments! Not only are they quick to help us tenants in anyway, the front desk staff is so kind and they always give fun little give always/contests and celebrate national dessert days with little treats! They have made my first experience living in an apartment an enjoyable one!
I have lived at Kenyon Square for over two years now and have loved every moment! The leasing office staff are so kind, and the maintenance staff are quick and helpful and efficient. I am moving soon to a different complex for more space, but I will sincerely miss my Kenyon family! The apartments are spacious, appliances are excellent, and storage space is awesome. You cant go wrong with Kenyon Square!!
Kenyon Square Apartments is truly an outstanding community living environment. The amenities are second to none and their residents are served by a quality staff which goes above and beyond their duties everyday. Courtney Dahl, Community Manager, is incredibly professional, customer service driven and her attention to detail is second to none. Definitely, a wonderful community to be a part of!
I love the employees at Kenyon Square! I always know i will get such a warm greeting from them when i am out on a walk, especially my puppy Rocky! It feels like they’ve known us for years! I rarely ever have any noise complaints, our apartment is massive for 2 people and a puppy, and i love the friendly environment! And a quick mention about the maintenance crew: they are WONDERFUL! Any work requests and they will be up in 24 hours! I have had such a great experience here in my first apartment! The placement can’t get any better either! I love it here! :)
We enjoyed our stay at Kenyon Square. Maintenance was exceptional with any issues we had. Common areas can get a little messy at times, but they do have cleaners occasionally. The best change they made during our stay was the stairwells getting a plastic coated flooring. Overall, the apartments are in a great location and was a solid choice for us at the time.
I absolutely love living here. The staff is incredible and couldnt be more helpful. They always go above and beyond with any request. The facilities are always clean and they are always quick to respond any time theres an issue.I usually work with Courtney, Hailey, and Jessica the most, and they are absolutely amazing. This isnt to say the other staff arent, I just dont run into them as often. I dont have a single complaint.
Courtney and Allie at the front desk are so kind, and always helpful. They answer any and all questions I have. The common area, pool, and gym are very well kept. Such a perfect location close to so many cool stores and restaurants! If you are looking for the perfect luxury apartment for a reasonable price in Westerville, look no further!
The Staff are friendly and attentive to solving issues. The pool is beautiful and theres a nice gym. The building and hallways are kept clean and well maintained. You get a good sized apartment for the price with modern appliances.I wish the apartment windows had better insulation as the highway noise for exterior facing apartments is a constant. Parking can be a pain because at night many of the spaces are gone and you end up in a small spot thats tight to get out of.
If you’re looking for a luxury apartment in Columbus, look no further! After checking out several apartment complexes in the area, I chose Kenyon Square for the amenities and the customer service.I was immediately impressed by the modern, clean apartments and how much the staff was invested in explaining everything about living here (some places could care less about taking the time to explain). The property also has so many amenities like a pool, rooftop patio, movie theater, and even Starbucks coffee in the lobby outside the gym.The staff is so great and the office is open 7 days a week so if you ever have any questions or want to rent the theatre you can go down any time and help is right there!Summary: Excellent Location, Amenities, and Service
I love living here at Kenyon Square! Its close to the major freeways and within a short drive to all the entertainment that you could wish for: near world class restaurants, Polaris Mall and night life options. All of the staff is kind and helpful. The community is quiet, which is great after a tough day at work or school. They also issue a social calendar to residents so that were always kept up to date with events that are planned for mingling. This place is awesome!
I used to love this place, wanted to move in, until the staff started treating me like I was a hassleUpdate; After certain employees are gone, this place has my approval. The new staff are very courteous, polite, friendly. So I am changing my rating to 5 stars. Allie has been amazing, my wife and I finally moved in.
Place is a scam. Would not recommend they can’t keep tenants because of they’re over priced and have ridiculous expectations. The electric is also third party and only talks to the apartment complex not the people who actually pay. My electric was like 200$ a month for a one bedroom that I never was at. I was placed in collections for electric and when I called to ask about it, they told me to call the apartments. That’s strange.
Kenyon Square is a beautiful unsafe property. My vehicle has been vandalized twice within 60 days in the parking lot of Kenyon Square. The first incident happened in March where my tires and rims were stolen while my truck was parked right in front of the parking lot. After only having my truck back for 30 days it was vandalized again. I have spoken to 6 other residents who have experienced vandalism to their vehicles as well. I also obtained police reports that shows there were 8 reports made in the last year of vandalism to cars in the parking lot. The management does not alert the residence of what is going on and also claim they are not aware of any other reports of vandalism but the residence are stating they did report it. The parking lot is dark and lacks security.I had just resigned my lease in April and when the 2nd incident happened in May I asked to break my lease because I did not feel safe considering there were two incidents within 60 days both times my vehicle was parked in plain sight. They would not let me break my lease so I had to move. I did not want to risk it happening again or anything worse. Now I am being charged a great deal of money for breaking my lease. I do understand crime happens everywhere but management is not being transparent with the tenants so they know what is going on and what to look out for. I think it is a shame that they would not let me break my lease because I no longer felt safe. Kenyon Square chooses money over safety.
Kenyon Square is a good property managed by a great staff. Always interested in our plans for the day, Courtney, Ken, Haley, and the rest of the staff are great at balancing the comforts of all the residents with the responsibilities of their neighbors. Weve been here three months and look forward to a long time at home here.
Overall this place is just ok. The apartments are nice but definitely not worth what they charge. The “wow” factor wears off pretty quickly. The hallways smell like a plethora of things, weed, curry, cigarettes, you name it. They use a 3rd party for electric and water which is extremely expensive. The water went out for over 29 hours due to a “sprinkler leak” and the maintenance people worked until “4 in the morning to fix it”. (It went out during the day prob around 2-3pm and didn’t come back on until 8pm the following day) These people need to enter your apartment so many times. I have never lived anywhere where they have to come into your home for stuff as much as they do. Most of the time they give you 2 days of when they need access to your apartment and when you have pets and children (who cannot be in the apartment when they need access) it’s pretty inconsiderate of residents time not to give a set day. Front desk staff doesn’t seem to have answers when a problem arises and instead of saying they aren’t sure they blurt out an answer that 90% of the time is false! I have an extremely rude neighbor who clearly has issues but that’s not really a problem anyone can fix. I can’t wait until my lease is up. It’s just average with an above average price tag.
Preeti Vishwakarma-“a great place to call home. The entire staff always greet you with a smile and are very helpful to our needs, and are quick to attend to any problems that arise . The grounds and facilities are kept clean every day by friendly courteous workers. The workout rooms are open 24//7 are rarely crowded and the pool area is lovely. I love the convenience of the elevator.Location and amenities are awesome. There are social events almost in every month, and the building amenities are great.. Helpful staff puts it over the top, they go above and beyond! So glad we choose to live here. Very happy with my choice!. Move in process was very smooth.
This was a pretty great place to live, but unfortunately things seem to trending downwards. The grounds, maintenance, location, safety, etc. are good. The management has just become a little less and less resident focused. Seems to be more about getting new people in than retaining the ones who have already been living here. All in all, not a bad place to live in the Polaris area.
The location is great, the front desk staff is willing to go out of their way to help and the people who live at the complex are friendly. The complex frequently has social events which are enjoyable. I have never had an issue finding a parking spot as some have mentioned, but there can be a small walk to the building.Overall, you get what you pay for. If someone expects the service/amenities Kenyon Square offers without paying a reasonable price for it, then they are being unrealistic.
My wife and I moved here when she was pregnant. We wanted something close to work, spacious, and with lots of amenities (gym, pool, movie theater, lounge, etc.). The staff was so wonderful and accommodating helping us pick a unit. Now we have a 1 year old and it’s still the perfect amount of space. They treat us like family here so happy to stay until we’re ready to buy a house.
I moved to Kenyon Square in April and from the time I came to view the apartment the staff has been very nice and helpful. The move in process was a good experience. There amenities are very nice here. The apartment is located close to all sorts of shopping and restaurants and very close to the highway. So far I have really enjoyed my stay here.
We love to live here, this is a great community, staff is friendly and respond to maintenance request very quickly. Apartments have modern appliances, we get a pool view from balcony. Every month they arrange some events. From the community we have quick and easy access to freeway, also Polaris mall and all other shops are very near by. Overall we are very happy to live here and I would recommend my friends.
Nothing but good things to say about Kenyon Square. Maintenance is usually handled same day and the office team is very friendly and always happy to help. There are events for residents a few times a month which is a good way to meet your neighbors. Close to shopping and easy access to highways.
I am living at Kenyon Square for last 8 months and enjoying stay here. During last 8 months I had wonderful interaction with staff members and it was great. Maintenance is superb. This society is at very prime location and rent is also competitive. I couldnt have find better place to love in Columbus/Westerville. During this pandemic period also, they are taking great care of the building and residents. I love this place and hope to stay here for much longer than I ever thought. #kenyonsquare #kenyonsquareapartments
I really want to like this apartment. The location is nice and on the outside the buildings look great. The issues are with the company who manages these apartments. Small and large fixes/maintenance requests take an ABSURDLY long time to be remedied. Just today I was told while they are investigating fixing a door keypad that is not working, they are unsure when it will get fixed as there are other entrances available. The grill on the rooftop patio has not worked since MEMORIAL DAY, and today I was told there is NO eta for if and when it will be fixed. I simply say this to my fellow Columbus renters, save your money. This isnt the worst option, it isnt the most unsafe, but it is just not worth what they are asking for dollar wise, and that premium will only get you a small number of amenities that function from day to day. Lastly, no one picks up their animal waste.
We chose KS for several reasons: location, amenities and layout. In hindsight, I wish we would have looked closer at the upkeep of the grounds and properties. There are stains al throughout the common areas, paint is discolored, wallpaper is falling down. Our apartment carpeting is deteriorating and the water has some type of sediment in it that causes black stains in the shower and toilet. We’re going to call the health department to have it checked. On the exterior, the siding is chipped and broke. In places. The amenities have all been closed since March 2020, and continue as of this writing (July 5, 2020), without any reduction of rent. Management’s only response is that amenities are not part of rent. This has all the earmarks of ownership with financial problems. Caveat Emptor!
We love it at Kenyon Square! Other places youd pay this money, and youd have about half the space. The staff is always friendly and willing to help. There are a lot of community get-togethers that residents can really appreciate. The gym is always kept nice, the pool area is wonderful, the top decks are a plus and youre allowed to have pets if you want! The only reason I am giving Kenyon Square 4/5 stars is because of the noise. Its not all the time, but our neighbors above us CONSTANTLY fight and it sounds like theyre dropping bowling balls for at least a half hour at night. Im not sure how something like that can be fixed.. But its bad when it happens. However, like I had mentioned, we dont hear the noise all the time.
Ive lived here for 3 years and I dont want to leave. The people are kind and helpful, the facilities are always clean and functional, the pool area is nice and secluded from the gaze of outsiders, and the apartments are spacious and modern. Plus, like a hotel, all of the rooms are inside. Nobody can come knock on your door at night unless they have a key card to get into the building. I feel safe. PLUS, youre right next to Polaris Mall. And youre at the top of the city, so if youre going north on 71 for any reason, you miss all of the traffic. I would highly recommend Kenyon Square to anyone I know (and obviously those I dont, too).
If you are interested in the ada apartments they are not described in the brochure. There are modifications to the floor plans. The ada modifications are not up to 2020 standards. Be sure to visit an ada unit to check if you can live with the unit’s features. The amenities have been shut down due to COVID-19 they are gradually coming back. The garages are very narrow.
This is 100% the WORST apartment complex there is. Would give ZERO stars if possible. We loved it when we first moved in but now cant wait until our lease is up. Facility is old but just made to look nicer with renovated rooms, but the actual building itself is just kind of gross & feels run-down. Typically at least the staff are are the only good part about living here, but as of late that hasnt been the case. They messed up our lease from the beginning, they applied a late fee to our rent after signing up for auto-pay & it didnt deduct because of technical difficulties when weve never been late before. They did remove the late fee after we asked them to since it was not our fault, but only after being told we were acting aggressive & forceful in regard to the situation. I had called the lobby to ask why we had a late fee charged & they hung up on me, they would not answer again, but they were surely quick to come to our door minutes later & place a notice that basically said pay your rent by Thursday or pack your bags. They would only reply via email & quickly ended our conversation so they could go watch the SUPERBOWL because were big Pats fans...... ok NO you are an employee at this point in time, the office was still supposed to be open for 10 more minutes or so (office is supposed to close at 6 daily). Even today I went through the lobby to get to our apartment & when i walked in at 5:50 all the lights were off & they told me they had already locked the main doors.... with still 10 minutes to go..... I am just completely done with the customer service here, its truly a shame how we have been treated thus far & have only been here since August. I could go on & on about other things but I just dont want other people to experience the same thing my husband & I have experienced. If youre looking for your next home, LOOK ELSEWHERE.
All of the community amenities are great, however I can count on one hand how many times I have used them. The lobby and amenities are what sold me to the complex but I dont live in the lobby, also the free beer is what got my husband....too bad its always out. I do enjoy my apartment it has a great at home feeling, until I start to hear my neighbors through the ceiling and walls. I have two vehicles that have been damaged and management was unable to help. Also the price for such a small place in my opinion is not worth it. I lived at Kenyon Square for a year, and only a year due to the $76 a month increase at lease renewal.
My husband and I are renewing with Kenyon Square for the 4th year. We absolutely love this community and is just the right place for us as we save for a house. The staff is incredible-- they are friendly, nice, reasonable, and really put the tenants first. They are always open to suggestions of complaints (like some of the ones I read on here) and they look diligently for improvements. Ex: someone complained about parking spaces being too small... They combined and painted new lines to have bigger parking spaces for SUVs, trucks, vans.)I have never lived in an apartment complex where there are so many events and family friendly gatherings-- There are ice cream parties for Valentines Day, a pool party in July (complete with a DJ, food, drinks!), and they even had Santa himself come to visit in December. I am blown away by the sense of community they foster and really feel like we get a value beyond the four walls we live in.The area can be busy during peak traffic times, given its less than a mile from Polaris, but that brings perks as well-- Plenty of restaurants, nearby parks and shopping. The amenities are wonderful-- grab a free coffee or beer, use one of the 3 computers in the lab, a work out facility (where I could get skinny, but I often choose to attend their parties more to eat;), movies to borrow-- They offer a lot!The walls are a little thin- but probably much like other apartments. I cant say that Ive ever lived in an apartment and NOT heard someone above me. If you happen to live under a 6 ft male, its a little rough at times, but all in all, weve been very pleased!
Everyone knows moving is stressful, especially when moving to a different state. One less stress my husband and I have encountered is the leasing process with Kenyon Square. I have had many leasing experiences as a renter and I also have 12+ years working in property management. I can say, without a doubt, that the professionalism, promptness, and kindness we have encountered thus far has been one of the best in my rental history. We have not yet moved in, but the date is quickly approaching and we owe a lot of gratitude to Michaya for being so wonderful. I have no doubt that our time at Kenyon Square will be a happy one. Sending a big THANK YOU to the Kenyon Square team for everything you’ve done thus far!
Im very happy to review this wonderful place. We have lived in this appartments for past 2 years now and its an wonderful experience. I feel very safe with the code entry system. In summer i love all the activities they do to keep us connected and entertained and in the winter i like the fact i dont need to step out in the cold for a cup of coffee or the zym or movie time.im so glad i found this place.
Please read all the comments about how overrated this place is!1. Parking lot constantly floods when it rains. Spaces are ridiculously small. If you get home past 7 good luck finding a space anywhere near you apartment.2. The walls are paper thin. You feel like you are living with your neighbors.3. The one time we decided to use the theater we were told we were not allowed to turn the air up and it was ridiculously hot. This place looks nice, but please look beyond the surface! Dont waste your money on these overpriced dorm rooms.
Water bill was on our exit fees and property Manger failed to notify them that we moved out. The water company billed us two more times past the months we lived there and had failed to contact us back after we called several times this sort of terrible mismanagement is on par with pretty much my entire experience with this building check your credit card statement after you move out
We moved here in 2015 from across the country and were so happy we picked this place. We were very sad to leave when our job situation moved us to another city. In 2017 we moved back to the area and didnt have to think twice of where to rent. The staff here is amazing!!! They truly care about this property and are always approachable when anything is needed or even just to say hi. The maintenance on the property is top notch and always done in a timely manner. We love the amenities of the gym, theater, pool and free coffee and yes we use them! And the social activities are so much fun as we get to know our neighbors. I was interested to read some of the comments here about parking issues. There is always a parking space available and if you have to walk 8 spaces to the door then I really dont understand what the big deal is. It is an apartment complex and not your own townhome. I feel like some of these people have never rented before. I say all of this as this is not our first time we have rented in the Midwest (where we are both originally from) or in California where we just moved from. My husband and I lived in California for many years and have had many rentals in our adult years seeing as how we come from a 75% rental area. Over the years we have certain expectations as we have seen a lot! My husband and I cant say enough great things about how the staff here (Alex the manager and everyone!) is amazing and they truly make the property because they arent just punching a time clock. They truly care! We dont feel like just a number here, we feel like family!
They use a third party verification company. Their third party company came to us and said we owed an arbitrary, random amount for a place we lived at 6 years ago. We couldnt get any more specifics about it. They said if we wrote a check for $417, theyd clear us and we could rent an apartment there. I said absolutely not, especially without confirmation of who would be receiving this check and exactly what/where the alleged debt was owed. When we withdrew our application, I asked that they refund our money. It has been over 2 months and they still have not returned the money owed. I understand that the application fee is nonrefundable, but there is still $150 outstanding which has not yet been returned. The apartment complex is gorgeous, but I cant abide the shady business practices.
I started off loving living here, but after being here for only 4 months that quickly went down the drain. the staff is unwilling to fix anything that breaks. the grill has been broken for 3 months now and they’re not doing anything to fix it. no one in this community picks up after there pets, so i have to be very careful where to walk my dog, and the grassy places i’ll take him are decreasing due to so much animal waste being left by residents. And finally, one of the main reasons we decided to live here was because of the secure entry, where you need a key to even get into the building, one of the pads (closest to my unit) rarely works making it inconvenient when i have a load of groceries or something heavy to bring inside. and they have said they have no plans on fixing that either. we pay a pretty penny to live here, yet most amenities and things we liked about the place when we moved in are going downhill with the staff simply not caring. don’t move here. it’s a waste of money.
The front staff is friendly, at first glance the place looks nice, the actual apartments themselves are okay but that is where it ends. Parking lot is packed and has too small of spots, garages are over priced, apts are over priced, common areas are not cleaned and trash is over flowing. If you are cool with the smell of wet dog, thin walls, and slow elevators then this place is for you. Seriously though before you move in, visit during the rain and smell the common areas you will have to walk through daily. Ride the elevators - they are terribly slow and for a year have had the padding on them. Common areas are not cleaned often enough and they cut corners everywhere. Apartment itself is nice but the price matches it and does not help this rating. If you are moving here for a young Polaris crowd to hang out with, keep driving this is not your place no matter how many social events they have planned.
When we move here it was an awesome place. Sure not the cheapest price but a lot of amenities and free coffee, beer and a lot of activities during the year. Use to be clean all the time but lately it is being going down. Elevators stink a lot of times. Hallways smell bad a lot of times. A lot of stains on the carpet on the hallways and walls on the common areas. Strong smell of weed (pot, Mariguana) a lot of times. So bad that you may get an overdose just by staying on the hallways for a couple of minutes. Complain several times but still happens often. We were super happy here but not anymore. Yes, their service is great. They fix things really quick I can confirm that. If you have a problem in your apartment, just fill a service ticket online and they will take care of it every time in a great time (they are fast on the repairs of the apartments) I have no complains about that. They are very friendly and it is a dog friendly community. Even do a dog pool party right before they close the pool for winter.Plenty of parking spaces and have a lot of them with oversized for large vehicles. Elevators are slow but, hey. They have elevators. Most of the places dont even have and stairs are outside. Here they are inside and heated and cooled. Noise is not that bad, it is average for most apartments. People are friendly. Most of them and maintenance people are great and friendly. We start having some brake ins on vehicles but this is not common here. It just happens only once or twice in a year that I have being here.Over all. I recommend this place as apartments are a good size and it is close to everything. Not a place to live for ever but definitely not that bad. They start to catch up again lately.Would I recommend this place to a friend? Yes but do not expect to be a high end place, it is not great any more but still good.If it rains, expect to swim to your vehicle, you will get about a foot or 2 of water in the parking lot for about an hour after rain stop.
Officially just moved into Kenyon Square apartments last weekend. The stresses of moving can obviously be extremely overwhelming. When one thing goes wrong than an other than another however, the property manager has a quality trait of being perceptive to issues and reacting proactively. Things arent always going to be perfect, but this manager is an excellent example taking adversity and problems her clients face during moving, and knocking the service out of the park. Making situations right is all we can ask for as customers when things go wrong, this manager did just that with a smile on her face.10 months later....What a joke. Previous comment was supposed to get me a $100 gift card to Kroger since the refrigerator I had in my apartment on my first official night was broke and I lost out on all my groceries. The afterhours emergency line guy made up a lame excuse and couldnt come out to fix it. Alexandra Ruegg said post a compliment and she would give me the gift card. LIES. Now I stupidly resigned my lease, and there was a heavy smoke in the complex I called 911 then called emergency after hours.. never showed... Then I just recently was given a $100 NSF fee for a check that did not go through. The payment was from a checking account I just opened and I accidently put my check number on the end of my account number. They refused to waive the fee. I persisted and was aggravated on the phone when requesting this with one of the girls at the front desk. I made no threatening comments and requested to speak w Alexandra Ruegg(prop manager) she refused to speak to me. I may have said its Bull$***, then I hung up on the girl. I was stressed out, but nonetheless I paid half the late fee on cert check and emailed Alexandra with what I did. She replied with this, Ok, you will just have then the $50 balance due with next month. Also, I wanted to please ask you to only communicate through email with me in the future. Your call with **** yesterday was pretty harsh and I don’t allow my employees to be talked to in that way. It’s not fair to them and they don’t deserve it. Again did not present a threat was just aggravated, but to request I do not call the office and only email property manager is nonsense and not even sure legal. DO NOT MOVE HERE.
Sure the lobby looks nice. However be prepared to pay an arm and leg for a bunch of headaches. Parking lot spaces are so small you can barely open your door, hard to find parking near your apartment. Parking lot flooded many times with a few feet of water couldnt get to car. Traffic near complex is a nightmare to get in/out of and with IKEA going in good luck! Security alarms were often pulled in the middle of the night had everyone standing outside for hours. Poorly built but looks new and shiny but its quickly getting dirty and broken down. i.e. carpets in hallways, elevators. Limits on all the free coffee and beer you can have. They keep taking away amenities and jacking up the prices. They will take all your security deposit when you leave for dumb stuff look at thelease closely. Renter beware to pay a lot for just ok apt with headaches
Apartments themselves are ok but after living here for a year I couldnt take it anymore. You can here every little thing from your neighbors and the parking sucks. They repainted their inside from cream nude to a hospital grey color and it totally lost its home-iness. And youre going to pay an arm and a leg for the electric and gas. Our bills in the winter would be $170 and we were only home 30% of the day. The windows in the room give off so much cold cause its cheaply done. So your room is hot in the summers and freezing in the winters. save yourself the trouble
DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!!!! The property manager and her workers are incompetent and rude, the way they act you would think these apartments (which feel more like international dorm rooms) were luxury and offered something other than a broken trash compactor and the savory smell of garlic that fills the hallways. The actual units are no more than small over priced dorm rooms lined with paper thin walls, and (because who doesnt like the soothing sounds of your neighbor choking on cigarettes next door, or soft ASMR sounds of the freeeay) outdated appliances. However, If you enjoy swimming this might be the place for you, every time it rains for more than 5 minutes your community parking lot turns into a Michael Phelps grade swimming pool(oh you thought, I was going to mention the actual pool, well if you like swimming with glass, cigarette buds, and a view of Westervilles finest bad built, sunbathing, mayonnaise loving girls, take a dip in the pool thats sits right in the middle of the community). The maintenance guys are cool though.

2022-05-04I’ve lived here since September 2021. The location is an asset due to the convenience of restaurants, grocery stores, and shopping nearby. The two bedroom floor plan has a nice layout and it’s spacious. The staff is professional and maintenance never gives me a hard time with any maintenance request. However, the amount of incidents on this property are frustrating. My car has personally been hit two times while parked and broken into once. The staff had limited ways to help due to there being no cameras on the property. This morning, a black Lexus lost half of their front bumper while being parked. I’m sure this resident will be highly upset to find out there are no cameras as well to see this hit and run incident. I’ve been on the waiting list for a garage since moving in, so there isn’t much I can do from parking next to everyone else. Due to the price of rent, it is saddening to know there isn’t an investment towards cameras on the property, especially since these incidents happen often.

2022-04-15I am currently looking at becoming a resident at Kenyon. I have been working with Courtney and she is outstanding! She is prompt when answering emails and has been finding finding solutions to all my questions. If you’re looking to rent here, ask to work with her!

2022-04-20If I could put no stars I would. This place has a mouse problem in the clubhouse so watch out for traps 🥴 there has also been a roach/insect problem on every floor in the building that’s been ongoing with treatments. They’ve even had squatters break into the “controlled access building” and they slept in a vacant unit and literally stole most the appliances! I wouldn’t recommend renting here if you care about safety and cleanliness. Very outdated for the price point they’re selling at. Definitely could get something better that’s actually worth the cost.

2022-02-08I toured this property with Terriana. The property was beautiful and Terriana was so informative and helpful. I do wish there was a pop machine available but everything else was spot on. Definitely recommend.

2019-05-18You can find much better value in luxury apartments elsewhere! If we could do it again we would have chosen The Ravines at Westar. This apartment looked nice while we toured, but the numerous downsides appeared over the following months. Ive listed some of them here:1. The cleanliness of the apartment was questionable when moving in. This didnt bother me enough at the time to complain - that is until they tried to take half the security deposit to cover cleaning/painting costs. I attached photos here of the move-in condition so you can decide for yourself.2. Many of the dog owners do not pick up after their dogs so youre constantly stepping in poop while walking out to the sidewalk or to take trash out.3. You pay a monthly fee for trash removal yet you still have to carry the garbage an 1/8 mile to the dumpster (or worse yet you if you live in the 2nd building you have to load the leaking garbage in your car to drive over).4. The dumpster gets full quickly and then the trash piles up out on the sidewalk baking in the sun all weekend until the waste service comes to clear it.5. Worst of all, the management company cannot be trusted. They violated the lease agreement twice: The first was by not returning our security deposit within 30 days as required by Ohio law. The second instance was charging us for heavy traffic carpet stains. Nowhere in the lease does it require us to clean the carpets at move-out. This is clearly just a scam to make the tenant pay for normal wear and tear maintenance on the apartment. Ive lived in apartments for over 15 years (due to moving frequently for school and work) and this is the first Ive ever not received a full security deposit back.Make sure to take photos when you move in and be prepared to fight to get your deposit back!! Good luck
