I have been going to Kristi for more than 8 years. She is such a professional hair stylist and truly cares about her clients. Kristi is so good at understanding her clients and their lifestyles and advises on tips for keeping their style look not just great but healthy too. She has also cut, tinted and styled my young granddaughter’s hair too. She was the person who gave her first haircut. It was a wonderful experience! I can’t say enough about Kristi and love what she does for my hair but I also always enjoy catching up with her at my appointments. I recommend Kristi wholeheartedly.
I had my first visit with Karsyn about a week ago and I’m so happy with the results. She was very knowledgeable and easy to talk to and she made me feel comfortable throughout the appointment. While she was cutting my hair she recommended some products that I decided to try out and my hair has never looked or felt better. I’m looking forward to my next appointment!
I have been going to Kristi Royal since 2011 and I have absolutely LOVED the outcome of my hair every.single.time. That is an amazing record if you ask me! Kristi is exceptional, we have done everything with my hair from total hair transformations to just a standard upkeep trim, and 100% of the time she delivers a look that leaves me feeling beautiful. Taylor (at Kingsdale location) is wonderful stylist. Very down to earth, not stuffy. She really knows her color sense in hair. She has great personality which makes it comfortable getting your hair done. Easy to talk to and listen to my concerns for my hair.
I went to Kenneths to go from bleached blonde back to my roots which is brunette. I was nervous but Dee did an amazing job, better than I even expected. Not only was she hilarious and completely accommodating she is a very talented hair dresser. I recommend her to anyone who needs their hair done and wants a friendly and funny person to get the job done well.
I chose my stylist because she had such great reviews, so I’m here to share more love for Dee! Not only does she produce great work, but she gives good hair advice too. Hayden is really great! She cuts my hair exactly the way I want it and shes very easy to communicate with and very professional, I’m amazed at how she remembered what we talked about months before I got it cut again so it was so easy to jump back into conversation with her! I have had Melissa at the Upper Arlington Kenneth Spa give me 2 pedicures so far. She does amazing work. She discussed which color of polish I could choose. She made sure that the way she cuts my nails looked good, was the best length, and followed the contour of my toes. I have some specific issues with a few of my nails and she worked to accommodate them. Shes very friendly and our conversation put me at ease. Shes the 1st nail technician Ive ever gone to more than 1 time. I highly recommend her. Would you believe that the 1st time she gave me a pedicure it lasted 7 weeks? The polish was as perfect as the day she put it on. My nails had grown to the point that I needed for them to be cut so thats why the old polish had to be removed.
I called Kenneths several years ago in a panic because another salon ruined my hair. The cut was as if a child had cut it. The receptionist got me a same-day appointment with Kristi. She was so kind and did what she could to fix my hair. The best part was that we made a plan to grow the bad cut into something great.Ive been going to Kristi ever since that day, and I am always happy with my hair. Kristi knows me and my hair, and knows the best way to style it. My haircuts from Kristi are so good, that I dont even have to style my hair each day. I can wash it, air dry it and my hair just falls into place without blowing or styling it.The receptionists and assistants are always pleasant and helpful. I never have to wait in the lobby for my appointment to start. Ive recommended Kristi to friends, and plan to stay with her as long as I can.
Roque was awesome! I had long hair for a while but i finally cut it short and even though i was hesitant and didn’t think i looked good , i loved it when i left and feel so fresh and relieved after he styled it! Thank you again and they also give great suggestions on hair products!!
I’ve been going to Hayden to get my hair colored/styled/cut since 2019, and since I’ve known her, each time she has done such an incredible job with my hair. She gives the best suggestions even when I walk in and am not 100% sure how I want my hair to look afterwards. Each time, I’ve left my appointment more than happy with the work she’s done on my hair. I strongly encourage booking an appointment with Hayden as she continues to go above and beyond with her work.

I come in weekly to get my hair washed & styled by Hayden. She is a very talented stylist as I also get my hair highlighted, cut & colored by her & I’m always amazed at how beautiful my hair always looks. She is very educated on everything hair. Dana at Kenneths Hair Salon in Kingsdale Shopping Center is great. From the first time I went to her over two years ago, shes colored and cut my hair beautifully. I often receive compliments on my hair from people I know and dont know. Over the months, weve discussed slight revisions to my hair color and length and shes always been very helpful. Shes also given me tips on styling my hair at home. Shes a true professional and expert of her craft. She may be a bit more expensive, but come on, its worth it to look and feel your best!
Ive been a Kenneths client for many years and left the Kenneths Academy when the Kingsdale salon opened. I have found all the staff to be friendly and eager to assistLauren is my current stylist of about 6 months. I highly recommend her. She is professional and friendly, and fun. She always gives me a great cut and style. She goes out of her way to deliver on my requests, and I have never been disappointed with her service.

Heather was fantastic! I came in asking for my blonde from a previous balayage to be toned down to more of my natural color and still have dimension. From the pictures I brought, she told me that what I was looking for was some baby lights. Without her I would have gotten yet another service I wasn’t happy with! She took what I told her and gave me the most perfect color and look! I highly recommend Heather and will be going back to her soon!

I first came to Lauren last Summer for a color correction. My hair trouble turned out to be a blessing in disguise, as I am so happy to have found her! Shannon is the best with blondes! I have been trying to find someone for a while to trust with my hair and I finally have. She did a foiled balayge on me and my hair looks absolutely amazing. I have been going to Hayden for 5 years and will NOT trust my hair to anyone else (even though I live out of state now). I continue to see Hayden for her professionalism and ability to work with my hair (which I think is a challenging head of hair). I love that I can walk in and know that if I dont have an idea, she guides me to a great style and decision! She is a great listener!This past year, when it came time to figure out my hair for my wedding, Hayden took time to listen and look at a great deal of photos to figure out what look I was going for. She combined the ideas of a few different pictures to make it work for me and it was perfect! She even took the time to show my sister and I how to take out the veil so as not to ruin the rest of the hair do and how to pull it up for later on in the evening.I highly recommend Hayden and the salon at Kingsdale!

I have been going to Kenneths for more than 15 years. I have always had Taylor for my stylist. She is always on time and professional. I am hesitant to change my color/hairstyle much and Taylor is patient and encouraging but never pushy. She wants me to be happy. I love her so much that my husband and three kids see her as well. It is nice to have a stylist who I feel is also my friend!!
My expectation was low before I came in, and yet the result still came out very disappointing. I showed the stylist pictures and explained clearly what I wanted - basically a darker tone to a lighter tone from the root to the end - but it turned out completely different than what I expected. I don’t think the stylist understand how dye works on hair, as she made the root color much lighter than the bottom which was the opposite of what I was looking for. Besides that, she didn’t even dry my hair completely not to mention any style, but they still charge me the full price of style and blowout. The stylist was patient enough but I don’t think she has any knowledge about how hair color works nor care about customer’s expectations. I DO NOT RECOMMEND YOU COME HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO RUIN YOUR HAIR
Late last year I decided to grow my hair out for the first time in my life and figured I should go to a professional. I started seeing Nicole at Kenneth’s Kingsdale location and so far it has been a great experience. I knew nothing about how to maintain, style, or take care of longer hair and Nicole was able to guide me down the right path. She is quite knowledgeable and was able to quell any fears I had about the “awkward” phase of growing your hair out. Nicole is kind, professional, and I genuinely enjoy getting a haircut now!
My hair had not been cut in 2 years or colored in 18 months due to the pandemic. Dee did a heroic job. My retired hair stylist sister said it was the best color shed seen on my hair in years.
I have been seeing Dana for a number of years and I still look forward to every appointment! She is an amazing stylist and I cant imagine letting anyone else touch my hair. She is never trying to get me to buy a bunch of stuff yet she knows what I want with my hair and recommends the best products and the best routines to get there. On top of getting the best color and cuts from Dana - I also enjoy the friendship we have developed over the years. She is an awesome person, so personable and I hope to have her in my life for a lot of years to come!
Kelsey is my stylist and she is awesome! She is so personable and always remembers to ask about whatever we talked about at the last appointment. She has also helped me find some great products for my hair. In addition, she double checks all aspects of my style before letting me leave. I have always been 110% satisfied with Kelseys styling!

Ive been a client of Kelseys at Kenneths Arlington for over two years now. I call Kelsey my Miracle Worker because she has been so instrumental in helping me to not hate my hair. Ive had a bad hair life - my hair is super thick, wavy/curly, and really hard to manage. Kelsey cuts it just right so that it lays nicely and looks more polished instead of wild all the time. She is super friendly and patient, always willing to listen to my wants and making them happen. Weve colored, weve Keratined, and each time Ive been very happy with the results. The salon itself is very nice and relaxing and everyone is so friendly...you feel welcome right from the get-go. Im so happy I found Kelsey after years of bad haircuts and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a fantastic stylist. Kelsey forever! :)

I started going to Kenneth’s for a few years, but never really found someone that I particularly trusted with my hair. I was actually referred to Hayden since the girl I had been going to was on maternity leave and have stayed with her ever since! Taylor and Kristi are both excellent colorists. I am super-picky about getting a natural look for my color and they both deliver. Ive been seeing Kristi for years now (who is currently on maternity leave) and she never gets lazy about the three colors and gazillion foils it takes to get the color right. On top of that, I dont have to have that awkward hand out-holding the foils experience. She pampers me and I delight in it.

Caitlin was beyond professional, gave honest opinions and made sure that when you left the salon you loved your hair. My hair originally was very dark and I wanted to go lighter , Caitlin used the best judgment to make sure I went lighter but not enough that it would damage my hair. I truly enjoyed Caitlins services and will 100% be back to continue the lightning of my hair processes.

Ive spent the last few months between salons trying to figure which one I liked the best. Kenneths is easily my preferred place to go. My stylist (Robyn) is easygoing and always does a good job of making sure I leave happy with my hair. It was silly of me to think there were any other places in Columbus as good as Kenneths. This place is worth every penny Ive spent there, and many, many more.

I have been going to Kenneths for 6 to 7 years now. My main visits are to get my eye brows waxed. I have only worked with Renee and after all these years refuse to let anyone else touch my eyebrows. I moved over an hour away a few years ago, but I still make the trip to see her. Sometimes its a last minute appointment because I happen to be in town and I always get right in. People think Im crazy and say to have them done closer to home, but Renee has always done a wonderful job and its so hard to find someone you trust, that is professional but also is like a friend. Everyone is always friendly and nice and I never wait long at all. Once you build that relationship, and that trust with someone with your hair or eyebrows its worth the drive for me! Renee is the best!

Taylor at Kingsdale is the best. I have been going to her for years and she really knows how to cut my thick, super straight in spots, not so straight in other spots hair! I have always been nervous to see different hair stylists, but when my regular stylist could not set an appointment with me, I had to look into different options as I was in dire need of a haircut. Kenneths is a great place from everything from cut to color. The staff is very friendly. I have gotten my hair done by Kelsey for over a year now and she is amazing! She has been able to get what I am thinking in my head to an actual product, Ive been a beach blonde to white blonde and now a more layered highlighted blonde. She is able to keep my hair healthy while going through all these different colors. Her hair cuts are just as good, i have never been disappointed when I have gone to her.
Kelsey is great! I would recommend her to anyone! Shes very friendly and I also look great when I leave! She makes great recommendations when I cant decide what I want to do and she always helps me figure out how to style my hair on my own (which I would be very unsuccessful at without her!).

I was originally referred to Kelsey by a friend, and since then Ive gotten my hair cut by her the past two times Ive had it done. Both times I absolutely loved it. I was worried about going as short as I am now, my hair is a pixie cut, and she made it look wonderful. Shes friendly and easy to talk to and Id recommend her to anyone.
I have gotten a mens haircut from Kelsey multiple times now, and each time she cuts it better than I had hoped for. She seems to have a great knowledge of mens hairstyles, and will be glad to accommodate you if you know what you want, but is also willing to give good suggestions if youre looking for something new. Very easy to talk to, and you leave with a great haircut every time.

My entire family has been clients of Caitlin for 4+ years. 5 stars is not enough! Caitlin is always friendly, professional, and never makes you feel rushed. She cuts and styles not only my hair (which is thick, curly, and not easy to work with), but my 9 year old daughter, and two teenage sons. Outside of my immediate family, she cuts my parents hair and my 3 year old nephew and 8 and 10 year old nieces, as well. She is always patient and works with the kids to achieve the style they are looking for. Caitlin also does a fantastic job on color/highlights! We love her!

Very bad experience do not come here ! Came here to go blonde and although it’s a process to become blonde in which I know because I’ve been blonde before this salon left my hair looking orange and dead ! When I complained about it they tried making an excuse that it’s a process to be blonde when the other times I’ve gone to other hair salons I’ve never had my hair come out orange ! Never coming here again! Plus while being scheduled with me my hairstylist left to work with another client while having an appointment with me ! Very unprofessional ! Don’t come here !

I came to Kenneths a little under a year ago with dark brown hair (that I had been dying myself) and I wanted to go back to blonde. I was recommended to Jacquelyn by a friend and she was amazing!! It took a good 2 hours to get all the brown dye out of my hair, but the result was a beautiful blonde color that I havent wanted to change since! I would not let anyone else touch my hair. She is amazing.
I was charged $198 for a bleach that was unnecessary. I wanted to go from dark to blonde but the stylist didnt inform me it would take several bleaches at $60 each. She then proceeded to tell me the bleach did not work and I would need another bleach box. She recommended keeping up with the treatments even though that is not what I came in for. I eventually left with my hair looking exactly how it did when I came in, with just a slight haircut. This appointment last from 11:30am to 3:30pm. She took several clients back while in the middle of doing my hair, causing my process to take longer. I would not recommend this salon, the service was atrocious.

My salone stylist is Lauren and shes AMAZING! I love how she layered my hair and helped me play around with the color of dye that fit my personality. Shes at the Kingsdale shopping center in UA.
My experience was good except she used Toner to get my hair to its beautiful red. I would have preferred bleach it helps the red last longer. Although I could be wrong I wish Kenneths would start carrying Viral shampoo again. Im willing to pay for it I dont like having to order it. Ill definitely try Kenneths again maybe a different salon.
Ive been here a total of 3 times. All I ever get is a hair trim. I think the first time it was $40, the second time it was $20 and just yesterday it was & 60! When I asked why it was so much for a trim they said my hairstylist was the top level. I was never given a choice of stylists to pick from. Dont get me wrong everyone is very nice and the spa is clean. Im just confused to why I paid $60 to get 2 inches taken off the bottom.

I have been coming to Kenneths for close to 20 years now. LeAnn Allman is first and foremost my friend and stylist. Always professional and yet a kindred spirit. I have seen her have up to 3-4 clients that she meticulously maneuvers as if in a dance, never breaking a sweat. Everyone one leaves looking just lovely and quite happy as well. LeAnns personality and wit are contagious and if you were having a not so good day, I can promise you that that will turnaround after spending some time with her. It is not just small talk but a deep and genuine caring for each and every client as I have witnessed this time after time that I have been with her. She can read people like a book as well as, I believe having written the book with her knowledge on hair styling. If you are not sure what you want, she will make suggestions to help you out with endless possibilities. LeAnn has even worked me in between clients or come in a bit earlier or stayed a bit later to assist me if the salon schedule did not permit. I go to Kenneths for the most part once a week now to have her style my hair. It truly is the highlight of the week. She is an absolute and unshakable example of what the definition of Stylist is. And, I have the best of both worlds as I am blessed to have her as my friend and in my life. Heidi Olberding :-)

I have been here twice and I love it! Everyone is so friendly and the place is very clean. This is my go to place to get my hair done by Nicole. I definitely recommend it.
I have attached pictures. If you would pay $200 for this change in your hair this is the place for you. Personally I think it is outrageous.The color job was well done but I specifically told my hairdresser that I did not want to break the bank on color and that I had moved from LA where it would cost $200 without discussing first (literal exact words I used) and I did not want that. Needless to say, given that conversation, I was was shocked when I recieved the bill.My issue was my current roots which subtly did not match my blonde hair (see before picture). I asked for them to be the same tone. We decided to blend them with high and lowlights. This solution cost $197.I was charged $67 for the roots (which hardly look different) on top of $90 for highlights plus another $40 for a conditioner (which I foolishly assumed was around $15 like every other place I have been).On top of that, the largest issue was the warm tone of my roots as that will not blend with my natural and I stated that I did not want to continue touching up roots. They are still warm and as far as I can tell $67 was tacked on for a service which did nothing and would have acheived the same result to simply do the lowlight/highlight.To be clear I really liked the color but given that I literally said I did not want to pay $200 up front to my hairdresser, I am pretty upset and feeling very nickel and dimed. I would never have agreed to pay this for such a subtle change and anyone who has seen me afterwards has said that it is outrageous and doesnt look that different.

Jacquelynn (Jacci)s hair designing skills are unparalled - I cant recommend her highly enough! Ill begin by stating Im as picky about my hair as. it. gets. Even I get frustrated with my demanding streak when it comes to my mane, and fellow perfectionists know that, in regard to stylists, its hard to trust :) Having been slightly disappointed with recent encounters, I consulted a trusted source for a top name and was given Jaccis. Tentatively, I called her at Kenneths. I explained that I had waited until last minute, and would need an appt ASAP. Jacci instructed her associate to book me that very afternoon; she would create an opening for me. Fantastic! Parking was a breeze at Kingsdale, and Jacci came out after only a couple minutes. First of all, Jaccis personality is wonderful - she put me at ease immediately, is laid back, super smart, and fun to talk to. But the best part? She is the best listener - Ever. After telling her what I wanted, she reiterated my ideas back to me, explaining how she had interpreted my vision, making sure we were on the same page. Then, before doing any cutting, she articulated exactly what the style would look like, double-checked how much to cut off, then asked me some clarifying questions. I really appreciated the questions! She has the creativity and experience that I do not (i.e., I wanted a long hairstyle, but I did not think to ask for movement at the ends, which have to be created by adding strategic long layers at the ends. (I would not have thought to ask for this on my own but it was important.) In times when you dont have a particular vision in mind, she offers opinions/suggestions/custom styles for your face when you cant decide, and can also copy styles from pics you bring in! My results with her are consistent...I have finally found an impeccable, 5-star stylist after so many other disappointing salon visits! For that reason, I wanted to give this review, and tell Jacci thanks again, if she sees this. For anyone considering a new hairstyle/color and has been disappointed in the past...please just call Jacci!!! I guarantee you will be so happy you found her -- shes the stylist we all deserve! p.s. They give you a $5 coupon for your next visit as you leave...also I did happen to notice this salon had quite a few male clients in and out, which was cool to see! :) Happy haircut!

Taylor has been my hairstylist for almost 20 years. I no longer live in the Columbus area, and whenever I fly in to visit friends and family, the first call I make after I book my plane ticket is to book my hair appointment with Taylor - I just havent been able to find anyone that I trust to make my hair look as good as Taylor does!

I got a haircut here once. Of course I was talked into getting way more cut than I wanted to, which I was prepared for. I didnt really like my haircut, but it was nothing drastic so it was fine. Overall, I think this place is very overpriced.

2022-09-17I LOVE coming to see Mara at Kenneths. I drive up from Fairfield, Ohio, 2hrs, to see Mara. I have had my hair cut and colored in my hometown at several different places, yet no one can match and get the style I truly want but Mara. She is the best! The color match is perfect, the cut is fabulous and makes me feel beautiful. She is professional, very clean, and courteous. Mara is on time and so friendly. When I describe what I am trying to achieve, she actually listens to me, (unlike other stylists, I have experienced, who do what they want or think I should want). Mara asks very good questions to make sure I understand what she is doing and making sure it is what I want for my style. She also makes great suggestions for my type of hair. 2022-08-20Reagen was amazing! I came in relatively uncertain of what I wanted to do with my hair but Reagen was very patient and helpful with her suggestions. When I left my first appointment I was incredibly excited for the service I was going to receive. She was an absolute delight to talk to, I was very comfortable with her, and she hyped me up the whole way! I have never left a salon so confident and happy with my hair and Ive been obsessed since!

2021-12-26I got tape in hair extensions on Wednesday December 15th,when I got them the women who did them didn’t give me much information on them and I had to look everything up and found out I couldn’t get them wet for 48 hours after there installed then on the following Tuesday so not even a week later they start falling out they were barley attached to my hair so I had to have a friend try and fix them then Friday 3 of them fell completely out of my hair in the shower, and the next day on Saturday the 25th another one fell completely out I was told they would last 6-8 weeks and it hasn’t even been 2 weeks yet.I spent over $400 for 8 tape ins.I talked to another hair extension specialist and she told me that whoever did them had no clue what they were doing and there is no way 8 tape ins should be over $400 I do not recommend going to any of these salons or the different locations this isn’t the first time they have messed up my hair so in less then 2 weeks I have had a total of 4 tape in extensions fall completely out of my head

2022-09-02I saw Dee twice now and l am so pleased with my hair. I am undergoing radiation for stage 3 oral cancer and my scalp and neck are extremely tender. In lieu of more highlighting, she found a way to tone my hair and make it look complete natural and healthy. I love it! It was an unusual request and she knocked it out of the park!
