As of now, I have Leased and/or Purchased 4 different Subaru automobiles since 1996, had all of them between 3yrs and 14 years ( ! ). All of them have been thru a Ganley family of dealers. 2 from the old, now defunct Lakewood dealer and 2 from Ganley Westside Subaru. I made a brief experiment with other brands and dealers, Mazda & Nissan, for a few years, and was truly disappointed across the board. So happy to return to Subaru quality and Ganley Westside Subaru customer care and all around excellence. They have listened to me, respected my budgetary and lease terms concerns, contributed to me improving my credit and lending status, and i feel like they have been fair, interested and offered me an honest deal. .. My sales rep Lennox West has been really excellent and gone the extra mile to get me a fair deal, address my questions and concerns, and find me the best vehicle for my wants and needs , and he did it Twice ! Highly recommend yall talk to Lennox and Ganley Westside when you are looking for a Subaru
Michael helped me lease an impreza a couple years ago and recently just got me a great deal on a crosstrek. He made it so easy, had all the paperwork ready for me and I was done in under an hour. He even had the car waiting out front for me when I arrived. He answered all my questions, helped me with setup and even texted me back within moments when I had questions the next day. Great service - 10/10 Thanks Michael!
Buying a car in the CRAZIEST, lowest inventory highest price market in almost 10 years, was dare I say it pleasurable at ganley Westside. Our salesperson James was the antithesis to the “slimy car salesman” trope. He listened to my concerns, budget, and was able to get me in a brand new subie with no hassle in a transparent easy way. The sales manager Asif came and spoke to my fiancé and I to make sure we felt comfortable to move forward. The whole vibe of the store even as busy as it was on a Saturday was almostRelaxed. I highly highly recommend and am so excited to have gotten my first new car right after college graduation from Ganley Westside Subaru
I went there because I needed to replace a window washer nozzle. everywhere online had prices between $12 and $20 for a pair. they were trying to charge me $24.50 for one even though the bag the parts came in clearly said there should be two. there was a hole in the bag and one was missing. when I asked he said thats how they sell them single and that they get them from Subaru as a pair. I decided to not take part in the transaction and left.if youre going to try and cheat people out of money make sure you take the part out of the bag that says there should be two to a pair and then charge for one dont charge for one and then give people the evidence that youre overcharging
I truly don’t have anything, but good thing to say about my Subaru Fam.Personally my experiences at Ganley have always been 1,000% the best, from when I purchased the vehicle to having my car serviced. This time around lady at the front desk was very helpful, even recommended me getting a tire rotation with my oil change. I’ve always said customer service is key and can always be deal breaker, but you guys always offer the best customer service. You have a great team there. Happy Holidays to all of you!
I chose Janice Huang in advance and made an appointment with her. I had emailed her all my requirements. When I got to Ganley, Janice had already selected a car based on my criteria. It was a Subaru CrossTrek. Long story short, it was perfect for me. Janice helped me navigate the process so I could trade in my Forester and drive away with the CrossTrek. Janice is so knowledgeable about Subaru cars, so accommodating about explaining the new innovations, really, quite amazing. Anyhow, thank you Janice Huang!
My wife’s grandmother recently purchased her lease buy of her Subaru. In an attempt to pad their profits they stepped on her interest rate for an additional 2%. (By law auto dealers are allowed to do this, don’t let them fool you)A women in her mid 80s on a fixed income and a credit score over 800. So instead of having the going rate of 3.5% her rate is over 5.5%.What a joke. Subaru should be embarrassed by their behavior and predatory practices.
Absolutely wonderful customer service.I have some mobility constraints, and the sales associate (Rachel) catered to my every whim, without me ever even asking (e.g. driving me from the dealership to the finance office and back, even though it was only one or two buildings away; switching my license plates for me, in the cold; sitting in the passenger seat, explaining all of the features before I left, etc). She even texted me a while afterwards, as I live about 70 miles away, to make sure I got home safely.Im sorry, but I dont recall the finance gentlemans name; But, he was great as well. Extremely friendly and to the point. I especially enjoyed him explaining the available (up-charge) options, while not being pushy or making me feel pressured in any way.
They made the car buying process easy and enjoyable. Buying a car right now is not the easiest thing to do but they really made it a low stress experience. I highly recomemnd them, especially Yasser! He also followed up with me multiple times to ensure I was happy! Definitely ask for him when you go there :)
Scheduling the visit was easy. Checking in with Matt was easy. Got a convenient ride to work from Bob, a very personable gentleman. All the work was completed in a timely, professional manner. Received a complimentary car wash. The bill was very reasonable. Jason and his team are great! Could not have been a better experience. Thank you!
Very friendly, knowledgeable staff. Their sales team walked us through the buying process and were accommodating to our needs. I did not feel pressured into anything that we werent comfortable with. Love my new Subaru vehicle and would highly recommend this dealership and our salesman Scott Wnek.
The customer service representative that assisted me due to a recall on my vehicle was very professional and walked me through all the steps of what was going to happen. I received a loaner car and when I returned it when my car was completed, it was a very smooth and professional process.
Went to turn in my leased 2015 Impreza, purchased a 2019 WRX CVT, couldnt be happier! Lennox has been incredibly supportive and accommodating to any questions or concerns Ive had, as well as the entire Subaru team in the North Olmstead office. Will be returning for my future Subaru needs :)
The service department and my service consultant, Aunna Regas were incredibly professional during a difficult time with my insurance company. My car was in the shop for a month, then had to be brought back because of another issue with the transmission sent from my extended warranty company. Everyone was patient, fast, and accurate.
I scheduled my car for a safety recall appointment. I arrived ahead of the scheduled time (traffic was lighter than expected), and was greeted promptly and my car checked in. Diego, the service advisor, was professional and efficient. The customer lounge/waiting areas are clean and comfortable. The recall work was done expeditiously, and I was pleasantly surprised that things (including a safety check and complementary car wash) took less time than I had expected. I was on my way an hour earlier than I had expected, which was a very pleasant surprise. This was an excellent service experience. I’ve had my car serviced twice at Ganley Subaru and have been very pleased both times.
Do NOT go to this place especially if you are a person of color! The manager Robert Brown is one of the most unprofessional, unpleasant people I’ve dealt with! I’ve been calling this dealership for 3 days trying to have a deposit on a car returned because I didn’t want the car any longer. I called and left 5 different messages for Robert Brown to return my call and I never received a call back. When I finally reached him via phone he told me he would try to give my money back but couldn’t make any promises. I was told I would have to wait 2 more days until the salesman who took my credit card information returned to work. The morning the salesman returned to work I called and spoke with Robert again who once again blew me off and told me he would call me back. I never received a return phone call from Robert 1 time! This is NOT how business should be conducted no matter if I purchased a car from you or not. You can’t decide to hold my money when I requested for it to be returned over 3 days ago. I was clear in requesting a refund of my deposit. As I write this review I have yet to be refunded the $500 deposit. I would hate to assume it’s because I am a woman of color but either way this business practice of not returning calls or processing a refund request for a car I am not contractually obligated to purchase is unethical. In addition the climate we are in as it pertains to cars is not the consumers issue so we should not be penalized for changing our minds. I will be filing additional complaints on this dealership all thanks to Robert Brown for his unethical, unprofessional business practices.
Erin Bradford in the service department was excellent!! I came in without an appointment needing a tire repair and some basic maintenance. Was told it would be less than 2 hours and shed come to give me updates as they went along. Well to my surprise her first update was telling me I was done and ready to go!! It only took an hour! She did all the paperwork to make sure everything was covered and took the time to explain the report of everything that was done.
Purchase of my 2011 Subaru Outback couldnt have been easier. Billy was great to work with - he made the purchase stress-free which was so appreciated by husband and myself. I was a little nervous buying a used car, but he went the extra mile on making sure we were very comfortable with our purchase. When people ask us where we purchased our car, I wont hesitate to recommend them.
Recently purchased a new vehicle from this dealership and was very impressed to find that the experience was perfectly pleasant. No surprise fees (only doc fee, title, and registration), no shenanigans from the sales team, no frustrations from lack of options. My sales rep, Tom, was very knowledgeable, personable, and professional. He took his time to answer all my questions and provided a ton of useful information, even about other brands (even regarding the pros of other options that may have cost him the sale).I walked into this place expecting to have to fight with the finance person for three hours about sneaky tactics car salespeople tend to use. What a pleasant surprised to find a helpful, courteous staff.
Do NOT waste time here!! The sales manager is extremely unprofessional. Plus they are trying to price gouge $5,000 over msrp. Went on line, found same car through a dealer in Cincinnati for below msrp and gave discounts. Brought the car up to me no charge. If you want to get a new car go to the dealers in Columbus or Cincinnati they are not trying to rip you off. Everything can be done over the phone and computer.*******Reply to your comments -your unprofessional and rude manager most certainly did try to price gouge us for $5,000 over the MSR. There was absolutely no misunderstanding! And please stop the narrative that product is scarce, supply and demand, etc. Its just your lame attempt to justify your extreme price gouging. When people look around to Serpentini or any dealership outside of a Ganley they will see that is inaccurate. Like I stated before I purchased the same vehicle at another dealership for below msrp. I believe previous comments by other people who said sales manager has issues/prejudices. So no matter how you try to cover, justify, or whatever. He is a terrible representative of the company and over all, the company is shady.
My wife and I were driving from the Cleveland airport home after our honeymoon. This is when the stabilizer bar and control arm on my Subaru Legacy broke on the highway. After my car was towed to the service center Aunna was put in charge of my case. She was courteous, professional, and prompt when she said she would call me back. She made a stressful situation much easier to deal with and helped my wife and I in every possible way she could, all the while still assisting every customer she had that would step up to her desk. She is truly a saving grace and a rockstar!!!!! We also worked with Ben the shop manager. We didn’t interact with Ben as much as Aunna, but he too was giving me advice and showing me the issues that my car had, to ensure that it would get repaired properly. He went above and beyond to further assist me to get the car parked when I thought it was immovable in a way so my cousin could load it onto a flatbed and tow it the 400 miles home. This team of people helped my wife and I overcome a sticky situation and I truly can’t thank them enough. Great job Aunna and Ben!!!!
The team was very kind. They were very willing to help us. CJ asked what we were looking for , he gave us exactly what we asked for. He was friendly and gave us the time we needed. He gave us options. He checked to see if we had any questions or concerns. They covered everything. They didnt waste our time trying to convince us to buy. They were professional and we highly reccomend them. The prices were very comfortable. Thank you!
I cant say Ive had a better experience at any other place, Im not sure what their hiring process is but they are doing an amazing job. I bought my first car here (a wrx of course) and it was a great experience. All the mechanics where always very nice wheneverI came in. Then when I had to suddenly move they helped me get a roof rack and box top so quickly and in such a timely manner, the exact day I was leaving. The parts man was extremely helpful and kind(Joseph). The check out lady was extremely polite. I went out of my way to go to this dealership. I am very happy with my Subaru and Im sad to have left. Would recommend this dealership.
Samantha from the internet team 5 stars. It was nice and easy from the start. When I came in I got to work with Nicole. She was also very nice. She went out of her way to explain everything to me and was professional and courteous the entire time. 5 starsThen came the finance guy. From the beginning he was condescending. Literally pointed at tax like I didnt understand tax, Went out of his way to inform me of how hes only got 2 cars coming in and hes not going to give a discount on anything. Also lied and said the interest on the car was 3.5% on 2022 when his competitor said its 2.5. Financing is set by subaru so I should be able to get 2.5% no matter where I shop. The cherry on top was all the outbacks in the back have nitrogen tires for $200 but for some reason I guess 2022s got that good good nitrogen cause it was $300.I understand the market is terrible for buying right now but Id avoid this place. Dealerships are hurting and I have empathy for business owners. Just not ones that are going to go out of their way to screw the consumer over.
Everyone is helpful at Ganley, but a special thanks to Alexis. She contacted me almost immediately after I made my service appointment online in order to clarify some things. This proactiveness on her part saved me so much time and aggravation (which would have been my own fault, but still...). Her help was immeasurable, and I really appreciated it.
My salesperson was fantastic- the rest leaves a lot to be desired -specifically when I purchased my lease vehicle. The paperwork at time of lease 3 years ago gave a purchase price. When I actually purchased the vehicle yesterday I was charged 1000$ extra in dealership fees. Not much of an explanation was given even when i called back.. Not a happy customer and wont be a return customer
This is possibly one of the best customer service experiences I’ve ever had. Everyone was so kind and incredibly accommodating. A gentleman by the name of Will who I believe is a manager was quite possibly one of the nicest people I’ve ever interacted with at a dealership. He made sure that my car was taken care of very promptly and professionally. He fixed an error on my bill immediately and was even kind enough to make sure that I got a rain check for car wash I was supposed to that I had completely forgotten about. Great establishment with great people!
Horrible experienceWe have leased cars for years from other companies and have never had issues like we are experiencing with Subaru. 12 months ago we leased a Subaru Ascent Touring model, after only 7000 miles we notice a bad rubbing noise coming from front end while on the highway, we take it in to Subaru to get looked at and they advised me that front rim area is bent, alignment is off on all tires and requires all new tires, the hood was vibrating and required some work, I don’t know what caused the damage, assuming a pothole or the like, they charged me over $1000 to repair. They also charged me $129 for a “complimentary” oil change. The best part was after repairs the car still isn’t right, front end squeaks and rubs still.I would like to return this car and go back to Honda, I feel this car is fragile and unreliable. I’m still waiting for them to get back to me.
We took our 2020 Subaru Outback in for a recall and an oil/filter change. Ganley provided courteous service from check-in to check-out. There was a safe and clean waiting area and they had several chairs outside too. I would recommend Ganley for servicing your Subaru.
I recently moved here from another state and needed a car immediately to get things going. I worked with Dylan C, who was not only professional but really down to earth and easy to talk to and to ask questions about Cleveland. The process wasnt easy as it was my first time buying a car at a car dealership. Subaru is always on high demand and sometimes you have to realize that you dont get the car you want right away. There was a miscommunication between our deal but we were able to work things out. My mom and I would like to personally thank Dylan. He absolutely went above and beyond. He made sure I left happy. He will listen, do his own research to make sure you get the best deal. Do yourself a favor and look around subaru with him next time. Great guy.
They were very helpful at getting my car. They told me my car would arrive on Sept 10th but it arrived a week earlier. I filled out the paperwork for the financing plus maintenance plan, and the person conducting the process was nice enough to get me a extra discount because my parents bought from their dealership in the past.
Recently, I had an issue with a large gash in my tire after a round of storms in NE Ohio and found myself needing a new set of tires too in the process. I dropped my car off, got a loaner for the day and my car was ready before the time they quoted me.Ganley Westside Subaru has serviced my Subarus since 2012. Always fair prices and due to their service myself and mom returned in 2017 and 2018 to purchase new vehicles.I have never had a bad experience and everyone is always friendly and helpful.Keep up the great work.
Alexis did a great job of getting everything scheduled for me on relatively short notice. The service team turned everything around and I had my car by early afternoon. A great experience. You are winning my business back after some stumbles under the prior service manager. Things in the service department have turned around nicely under Mark Rosco. Keep up the good work.
Im so glad I came into Ganley Westside Subaru when I did!!! I had wonderful, professional and courteous service; they worked w me throughout the new car buying process and even offered refreshments, washed and filled my gas tank upon sales completion!!! I will def STAY a customer of them!!!
Thank you Janice for your great customer service. Janice went above and beyond to get us the car we wanted. She also took special interest in us personally and provided us with fun Subaru dog toys for our pups! We love our vehicle and appreciate all the time Janice spent with us.
The entire team took fabulous care of us during the entire purchase experience!Rachel will be our go to sales person in the future. From extended test drives, to an overnight take home test of the exact vehicle, they could not have done more.I own a small business and buy 1-2 vehicles a year, for the last 40 years, and this was the most straight forward accommodating sales team I have EVER worked with. Thanks again to the entire staff!!!
Online sales (Robert) did a great job locating the 2 very specific vehicle (manual transmission) I was wanting to test drive. Help schedule my appointment, made sure day of appointment that both vehicles still available & had both waiting & ready for me when I got there. Sherry W. My inside sales rep & her finance team did a great job answering any questions we had, were hospitable during buying process going the extra mile to help get us into our new vehicle. Great non-pushy team to work with.
Was trying to get a quote on a repair over the phone for my 2002 Subaru Legacy Outback L.L. Bean edition. Nobody, not even the service manager answered the phone. Tried three or four times. No answer. Not very professional. 😡 Update: Had to sell my Subaru because I couldnt find anyone to fix it.😭
It has taken 6 trips to take care of what should have been done in one. I took my car in to have a mirror replaced and some new tires. They had me come back because they dont order parts until they need them. I asked them the first time I was there to let me know of any issues.Somehow during their inspection while replacing my tires they missed the fact that I needed rotors and brakes. My check engine light was on and I had asked them to see why. They didnt on the first trip or the second. On the third they offered to do it free and save me $150 for a service any parts store will do for free also.Well they finally inspected the car and over $2000 later I thought we were done. They left the new timing belt loose and I had to go back again. Now my battery is dead. Killed by a slipping belt that wasnt letting my alternator recharge my battery.I went here because I bought the car there. I wont be back unless forced for some reason. I will replace my own battery instead of making another 45 mile round trip to get it repaired. Everytime I end up returning. My tip is that if you want something fixed right the first time look for another service department.
Everything was great except for the initial person who checked in my car right after pulling in. He seemed disconnected from any conversation I had setting up the appointment, claimed I signed up for some service I never heard of, and truly just ended up totally confusing me and unable to answer any of my questions. He also did NOT pass on the one thing I told him was important. There was no one else present checking in, so I dont know why I couldnt just go in and work directly with the advisor who had all the info. That part of the system did not work for me. Otherwise my main advisor was great, kept me informed, and processed the car service quickly.
Quick responses online made it easy to come in and find a vehicle. The Salesman was cocky and a bit crass but I didnt think much of it. We bought a vehicle the same day but couldnt finish the entire closing process because someone called in sick. The car was for my wife and I was assured I didnt have to come back in with her for some standard signatures and paperwork. A few days later she came home with almost $3500 worth of BS warranties assuring me we could cancel them at any time if we didnt want them. The next day we call the dealership to cancel the warranties and get reimbursed on the loan. That was 6 months ago and were still not completely reimbursed (although weve been assured since October it would taken care of very soon). I would hope that were an edge case situation, but regardless, this experience was enough to dissuade me from ever doing business with this dealer again.
We travel an hour to the dealership for service needs. Really appreciate the same day service that I was able to receive. I was even able to add a couple ad-ons from the Parts Department that had the items in-stock. The service team was happy to assist with adding to the work order and all was completed in a timely manner. Good to see a team working well together!
Fair and honest negotiation to get to a final buyout price on the lease. But we were most pleased with the patience and generosity of the gentleman in the finance department who went out of his way to be thorough, explicit, and above all kind so that we could arrive at the final deal that we were all comfortable with.
Just purchased my 3rd Subaru Legacy. All from Ganley Westside Subaru. I wouldnt dream of going anywhere else. The attention that you receive from the sales associates to the service department personnel is outstanding. They treat you like family. Amazing experience buying a new vehicle with the expertise of Sherry Workman. Sherry is friendly and helpful. She not only provided me with her personal cell number in the event that I had any questions, but she actually answered my calls even after business hours! In a world of automated systems, its truly a breath of fresh air to speak with real people who love the work they do. Thank you Westside Subaru and special thanks to Sherry Workman for going out of her way to make this purchase easy.Cheryl Gnew
This is my second leased vehicle in less than a year from Ganley Westside Imports. I actually purchased a VW Jetta from Ganley (this time). Great experience with my sales person, Ben Stroh. Also had a pleasant experience with Terry Maxson in finance when signing the required documents. My first lease was for a 2020 VW Arteon. The great service has not changed and I am definitely a satisfied customer.
Everything handled quickly and efficiently, no upselling. Actually knocked some off the bill because parts of the standard service had been taken care of in the previous visit. Knew it was going to be awhile for everything I had scheduled, so I was prepared to take a Lyft home, but was instead offered a free loaner car for the day (and this was on a busy weekend). Nice to have someone go above and beyond with the service, while not trying to squeeze out a few more dollars. Thank you, Ray and the Ganley team.
Our experience was amazing. No one wants to buy a car in the middle of a pandemic, but we needed to replace ours. Our saleswoman was great, we handled almost everything over the phone. When we had to go into sign, all precautions were taken. They even took me for a drive in the car I bought, just to make sure the one I was driving away in (not the one I test drove) was right for me. In these circumstances, they went above and beyond.
We feel that our Salesperson, Janice Huang, did an excellent job in preparing for our visit and helping us buy the best model for our lifestyle. She had us test drive 2 models (which we werent planning to do) and convinced us that the limited edition was the best for us. The second test drive reinforced that. Your dealership helped us upgrade models and got us the color we wanted at a great price.
My visit started off well. Sales person was super nice. I was a bit turned off that they tag along for the test drive. However, I was very interested in the product, brand and safety features. We proceeded forward. I was encouraged to put down a deposit for the hold and was told I could get it back. I ended up going with a different vehicle the next day, when I spoke with the sales person they were very professional and understanding. I asked for my deposit back, it was fine then. But minutes later I get a text message that it’s non refundable and congratulations on my new vehicle. I was surprised because the sales person had been there for over five years. You’d think they’d know the policy by now. I’m disappointed in Subaru’s customer service. I’ll never go back. I’m guessing they were just upset I didn’t pick their product.
Overall, we had a great experience. The individual that called me (Samantha) after I submitted a request for my trade-in value was extremely friendly and helpful. The specialist that helped me (Igor) was very friendly, knowledgeable, honest, and easy to work with. The specialist that helped my husband (Janice) was also extremely easy to work with, friendly, honest, and knowledgeable. We both left feeling like we got the best deal possible.
Took my car in for a sound and smell coming from under the hood. They couldnt find the cause (it had stopped that day, of course). Was charged $166 for inspection. The next day the smell and sound came back with a vengeance. Had to pull into closest mechanic. Pulley blew a ball bearing and belt was about to snap. Called Ganley to ask for a refund (or even a partial refund) since their inspection was ineffective. Nope, nothing back. How do you not check the belts?2 leases I got at Gankey were fine, but those were new cars. Dont take older cars here for service.
Over the last year or so I’ve had a few issues with my Crosstrek, so I’ve taken it to Ganley for repairs. I’ve worked with Matt O’Shea both times and my experience is always fantastic. Matt is personable and truly takes pride in his job and makes sure that I’m taken care of. Everyone else here is also prompt and curtious. I won’t hesitate to bring my car back for future repairs, or to buy a new car when I’m in the market!
We have purchased a total of 8 cars through Ganley and referred numerous friends and family to the dealership. EVERYBODY has been thrilled with the service, professionalism and friendliness of the staff at Ganley. Our salesperson, Brandon Williams, ALWAYS exceeds our expectations - going above and beyond to find the right and right deal to fit our current needs. I cannot imagine buying a car anywhere else.
My first Subaru and the Outback is amazing. From the knowledgeable sales with Karl to the great features of the car, I was well taken care of. Highly recommend the dealership and the car. I have had the car for a few weeks with heavy snow and a lot of rain. The test drive was good but driving in theses conditions was the true test. The performance was outstanding and having an AWD car with the weather was satisfying that this was the right choice.
The Transaction was smooth and simple. All the negotiation went very professional and definitely got the best deal ever for my Bucks. Thanks to Scott and Carlo for all the effort putting the deal together and making sure that i got the vehicle that i want and love. Subaru West Side is really the best Subaru dealer in the Cleveland Area.
My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our buying experience at Ganley Westside Subaru! Sherry Workman was outstanding! From our were just looking visit, to questions answered with patience, to securing the vehicle we wanted....she kept us updated and informed. Everyone at Ganley made sure we loved the process as much as weve loved our new Forester Sport!
I have been so pleased with my experience at Ganley. From purchasing my vehicle with Keith to having my remote starter installed, everyone I have interacted with has been patient with addressing concerns or questions I may have and treating me like a valued customer. Keith was also wonderful with my family and was a pleasure to work with, we look forward to buying from him in the future.
Purchased a used vehicle remotely from out of state.Tough purchasing process considering we paid cash with bank certified check. Wont get into that process which would take a couple of pages to do, but it did include some poor communication on their end and several times the same person hanging up on my wife with no remorse. You should know we purchase vehicles from out of state, all over the country, on a regular basis and we dont have these issues. The purchasing process included them having a local notary coming out to have us sign paperwork. Paperwork, that required their taking my fingerprints! Paperwork that did not have a loan associated with it. Now my fingerprints are out in the world - when I was born and the hospital took them, when I got my gun license and lastly, when I signed paperwork for a car I paid cash for. Something is seriously wrong with that.If the vehicle was as promised I would have probably let it go and not written this review. But on the very day the vehicle arrived by vehicle carrier I had to send it to a local body shop to spend over $2k to fix the front end which had a large dent in it, a radiator support that was bent and required repair and had both front headlight assemblies replaced - one because it was broken and one because it had 3 of water in it. None of this came up before we purchased the vehicle and none of it appeared in the photos on their website.I understand buyer beware and I understand we take a risk at buying something without seeing it in person, but understand we buy 30-40 vehicles a year for our business this way and in 6 years this has never happened.Needless to say, I would not reco them, but if you are from out of state and cant view the vehicle before purchase - run away from them as quickly as possible.
We just got a new car from here this morning! Cannot say enough about Tom the salesmen and how enjoyable he made our experience. He is without a doubt the reason we committed to a purchase on the spot. Shopping a new car is a drag, and it also takes a few hours to get through the paperwork etc. Tom was there all the way through and hes just very friendly and hospitable. We immediately felt like a part of the family. He made sure we understood why he recommended certain things. He was very knowledgeable about the car we were leasing and all of our options. Made an otherwise stressful event in our lives feel painless and effort free.
We bought a car here and the service dept tried to cheat us. Straight up and in your face cheating. Had I not read the service detailed check list and sent my husband to inquire we would have been back for costly repairs within a year. It took the store manager to fix the problem and that is a shame. I will find another Subaru shop to maintain my car. Trusting your service.deptment is essential when you are a woman and I have no trust in Ganley.Edit: I will increase star rating from 1 to 2. It was unfair for me to give the whole operation 1 star when store management handle our complaints dutifully. I will still find another Subaru service department to maintain my car.
Took my Subaru to Ganley for their complimentary 3k fluid check/tire inflation check. While there I asked if they could show me how to pop the hood, they did. Showed me where the windshield wiper reservoir was. (That was all I wanted to know....the rest of the engine isn’t my concern) Then I asked about X mode as I was unfamiliar with that. After that was explained to me I was asked if I was familiar with lane assist. I was not! What a wonderful experience. I’m recommending Ganley to everyone!
Backstory, I bought my car from a non-Subaru dealership. When they couldnt figure out what was wrong, they told me to take it to the professionals. My entire experience was outstanding! I was very happy, dropping off my car, being told they had to keep my car and that they had a rental for me, to them fixing my car and keeping me updated along the way. I will never take my car anywhere else. Make sure you ask for Ray, he was the best! He went out of his way to help me out. I couldnt be more happy! Thanks again guys!
3rd visit for service, this time on our other Subaru and they looked busy but still managed to perform an oil change and recall in about 1.5 hours. Not bad considering this was through the express lane service. I included more details in my past review about the waiting area which is nice and undergoing updates.
Although we had to wait a bit for a sales person, our overall experience was very positive. We had test drives in two products, looked at available Foresters and purchased one from the lot. The financing process was fast, professional and pleasant. Our sales person was warm, informative and engaged. Followup has been impressive.
I definitely had a good experience and would HIGHLY recommend Sherry Workman. She made us feel comfortable and helped us with our decision when we were between two. Not only was she great to work with, but she added her own personal touch. It was more like going and finding a car with a friend and never felt like a person that was trying to get you into a car.Work with Sherry, you won’t regret it!
Brandon, my service representative, was very professional. He took in my car at 7 am, discussed all steps, and provided that he would text me when the vehicle was ready for pick up. He beat my time needed by several hours, and followed up via phone to confirm I had received the text. Upon pickup, he set me up to leave, discussing everything that was completed for that service appointment. Would request Brandon to be my service representative on any future appointments!
Quick, helpful and friendly service. Had a nice conversation with multiple people in the dealership about my car and car topics in general. They also detailed my car for free, since I opted to not use their car wash (Im stingy about the paint). No complaints at all. 5 stars
Friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful staff make this an excellent option if your Subaru needs some work. When I hadnt realized our wagon would be in for several hours, they had a loaner for me (gratis) so I could continue on with my day. That effort made me a happy repeat customer.
The service department at Ganley Subaru has always taken good care of me and my car. They are very friendly and knowledgeable. I feel confident driving away knowing my car was serviced properly and has genuine Subaru parts. I drive my cars for ten plus years so proper maintenance is important to me.
Wow! I rarely give 5 stars for anything, but the team at Ganley defines customer service. Matt OShea not only made sure my car was efficiently serviced, but he also followed up later in the day to ensure I was receiving reminder service emails. He is, in short the epitome of service. I highly recommend Ganley Westside Subaru.
Scott Wenk, our salesman was the best. He was not pushy at all and he answered all of our questions quickly and accurately. The after sale stuff was also informative but not pushy. I have not used the service department yet but I plan to. This was the best car buying experience I have ever had.Thank you Ganley Subaru, your the best and I will be back for future purchases.
I received excellent service from Kevin k. at the North Olmsted Ganley service center. He always goes above and beyond to meet my concerns. He is an exceptional customer service representative. I feel that he’s looking out for us as valued customers! I would recommend him to anyone. I hope the company appreciate the caliber of service representative that they have and him.
Tom who helped us from the beginning to the end really did a great Job. He was very accommodating. I give him 10/10 if I have to rate his customer service. Very excellent and nice person. However, David Kaizer, who is the finance manager, is the opposite of Tom. He forced us to buy the extended warranty service even though we did not want it. We were pressured to his tactics. He is one of those guys who like to sell Time share by pressuring and giving you tons of explanation. We were forced to buy the basic but a day after we picked up our Outback Subaru , we decided to cancel it. He did not even entertain us; he did not explain the whole process of the cancellation form. When I asked him if our monthly payment would go back to the original payment we wanted which is below $500/month, he just said that he could not change the payment now. We feel that, because we cancelled our extended warranty, he did not want to help us anymore. He is very lazy person; he is very horrible person.
I love going here. I know they take care of my car, and normally it only takes about an hour, with or without an appointment. I can walk to a lot of nearby places to shop or get a bite to eat while Im waiting. They even give you a free car wash! I also asked them to put on my front license plate (because the dealership didnt put it on) and they did it, no extra charge, no questions asked. They staff is always accommodating, quick & friendly.
I had the WORST experience buying a car at Ganley Westside Subaru. I went in to test drive a Forester and loved it. It was our third dealership that day and I was less than thrilled with the other two small SUVs that Id driven, so I was pumped to find a car I loved. They were advertising Subaru Forester Premiums for $300 lease a month and their first offer was SIGNIFICANTLY above that. I was downtrodden, so we sent the Finance Manager back three times, the whole time wondering where our sales associate had gone. Their best offer was still pretty far about the advertised price and not the color I wanted. We left.Taking a chance, I reached out to another dealership and they told me they had a Forester Premium, in the color I wanted and with the option I wanted, for over $50 less a month. Great news, Ill come and get it. I politely told our sales associate that we found the car and deal we wanted and thank you for your service. I was pleasantly surprised when he suddenly found the car I wanted and could beat the price. I went in a few days later and signed paperwork and waited to pick up my car in 2 business days.Three business days later I got a call that the trade fell through. I could wait 15 days (give or take a week), take another color, or get a refund. I was really frustrated at this point, but I was willing to give it a shot. I still had the problem of no transportation because my current lease was ending. They offered to call my current leasor and find out about the grace period and throw in a year of service. I inquired about the other color and was told that they were trying to locate one. At this point, I was so frustrated, insulted by their offer of calling my current leasor as a transportation solution, and ready to walk away. When I went in to process the refund, the sales associate had a hard time understanding why this was such terrible customer service. I told him what I thought and in the end, he laughed in my face.Thank you to Brunswick Subaru for finally delivery when Ganley Westside Subaru failed miserably.
Earlier in the month I took my Subaru in to check on a strong vibration that was coming on the left side of my dash. After a two hour and ten minute wait in the waiting room, and not hearing anything from my service tech, I requested to speak with somebody over the situation just to find out what was wrong with the car. They told me they were working on it and gave me a shuttle ride home where there was another hour-and-a-half wait before the car was ready. When I picked it up they assured me that the problem was taken care of. The bigger problem is that the same rattle returned within 2 weeks and it was even louder this time so I took the car back to the service department and requested a loaner, which for Ganley requires you to give a two weeks in advance notice (even if you purchased the car from them) to assure you would have a loaner. On day 2 of the car being in service again, I called to find out if they knew what was wrong and was told that they were working on it and would let me know by 11 the following morning. When that call didnt come in I waited till later in the afternoon and I called again only to find out they were working on it. From that point on no one from Ganley bothered to call and update me on the car. That went on for a week and when I finally got fed up I drove their loaner to the dealership, gave them their keys and demanded to have my car back. They gave me yet another excuse like oh well were waiting for a spring to come in. But I had just spent a week not hearing anything from them at all about the condition of the car, and the parts needed for the car, or any diagnosis of what that problem was. I grew up in the car business and I know that is not how customer should be treated especially, in a service department when they have your car, a multi thousand dollar investment, tied up but are not giving you any information on it. The car was immediately brought around the front of the dealership for me, which meant it was most likely not being worked on at the time or probably even before. Im very happy to have this chance to give others a heads up here on Google, and I plan to do the same on Carfax as well as Subaru itself. As a matter of fact, Ive notified Subaru of the situation because I find it very disconcerting that this vibration could easily involve the steering of the car or the brakes of the car since its coming from the left side of the car. Obviously neither the car nor I as a customer were important enough to any of the service department staff for them to take it seriously or even try to diagnose the problem, much less have the common courtesy to keep me informed.
Today I needed to just quickly check my tire pressure so I dropped by Ganley Subaru of North Olmsted (where I purchased my car) to ask if I could use the air hose. They drove my car in (I think the young service attendant was named Dave but Im not sure), quickly checked the pressure and returned the car to me within 5 minutes. Beyond just the efficient help, was this employees warm demeanor. Really made my day.
Ganley Westside Subaru was great in many ways.Convenience to our home. Showroom was open and bright, and clean. Some members of the sales team were very friendly and helpful. Some were just there! Its Winter in Cleveland of course. We should just SMILE MORE!I had the best team player Janice Huuang. What a wonderful, nice, friendly, comfortable, & honest person to do business with.. Cant say enough about Janice. She will do well and hopefully someday manage her own company and pick team salespersons to emulate her STYLE OF SALES!!Nothing better than to have people that work well together and share their love for their company by showing to others that come there to do business. Some of the non compliant salespeople, and commanding upper based management need to be out the door. All team members (meaning all employees) one level for all.I would recommend Ganley Subaru to all. Pick and choose WELL!
Told us 2 keys came with our car. As it turns out that wasn’t true. No big deal right? They told us to come in any time to have a key made. We told them we are over 60 miles away but would be in town every other weekend. The salesman said “great”. We came right in over the weekend and were turned away “They don’t make keys over the weekend.” We were very unhappy with that and dealt with the inconvenience for a couple years. Finally we made a 120 mile round trip out of our way. We were turned away yet again. They said “we had thirty days to get that done”. After being disgusted over the initial 2 interactions we didn’t want to so much as lay eyes on these people. I explained how we had been told 2 things that didn’t happen and the thirty day thing was left out of the equation as well. Of course the paper work we signed said we had thirty days but I paid no attention to that the first go around because “The car comes with 2 keys.” So over maybe what equates to $200.00 key they opted to no longer do business with us. We’ll be going to Columbus from now on for our Subaru purchases. They set the wrong expectation several times with us and are unwilling to make it right. I’ve been in the sales and service industry all my life. Truly unbelievable that a car dealer would opt to treat us this way. Not only are they willing to be “good” with misinformation but are insulted by the idea of making right. I don’t care how long it’s been. Doing the right thing is simple and in this case a small cost to pay for not having there ducks in a row and keeping what would have been a long term customer. I don’t recommend this dealer for anyone.UPDATEDAs it turns out the key was made available to us. Shouldn’t have taken any complaints online as far as I’m concerned but I appreciate that this has been taken care of.
Bought my very first new vehicle here. Igor was a very nice salesman. Thanks guys I m loving my crosstrek!!Update:I returned to Ganley for my 1st oil change. They were awsome! I had a few questions and Jasmine did her best to help me with everything. Thank you Subaru crew! Love my crosstrek and you have great customer service
My sales woman, maryjane Wheatley was phenomenal! I have purchased at least 10 cars from this dealership and have had a few sales people. She made the whole process enjoyable. She is very knowledgeable and did not pressure me in any way. The management team was also very nice to me.
We were very disappointed in the way we were treated at this dealership today. My wife and son were with me and we went to test drive a new Subaru Ascent. We walked into the show room and we were not greeted or welcomed by anyone. We looked around in and out of a few cars in the showroom but no one assisted us. 3 different employees passed us but no one would interact with us. One man asked if we were being helped and I said no not yet. After waiting for almost a half hour we left very disappointed that we werent able to test drive a vehicle. Someone could have said that they were busy and unable to handle or assist. No one wanted our business today. We ended up going to Big Nissan of North Olmsted and bought a new 2018 Nissan Rouge SV AWD. Great price and service.
Great experience. Evan and Michael were great. Straight to the point, never try to up sell me anything. I told them what I wanted and they delivered with no issues. We have 3 Subarus in our house, always solid and reliable, the wrx addition is the fun side from Subaru :).
This team here made it easy and fun. Keith worked with us on figuring out the perfect car for us and really took our needs into consideration. It was an entirely stress-free purchase and filled with a lot of laughter. Everyone here did an amazing job guiding us on our first purchase. So proud to be Subaru owners!
Ganley saved me! I brought my car in for Ganley Subarus walk-in appointment service for scheduled maintenance, but also had an issue with my window not functioning properly. I couldnt bring my car in another time with the service being covered because I was just under the 36,000 mile warranty expiration. They repaired the issue the same day (on a Saturday), and I still got my car back in a reasonable time period!
Michael Simon was outstandingly helpful, informative, and capable. I love my Forester, and am so glad that Ganley Subaru had a manual transmission. It was truly a superb car buying experience. The sales manager was also remarkably amenable to our needs. I have no complaints--all praise.
Its a nightmare every time I have to take my car in. We always make an appointment which is pointless since they never actually seem to know who I am, or why I am here or follow a schedule. The service department is rude and always so behind. I have had service done and never received any paperwork or proof of service. We should have known when trying to buy the car took HOURS because they had one financial person working a few days before Christmas things were going to continue to be less than satisfactory. I was between 2 cars and although I still like my car i regret 100% not purchasing a different car through a different dealership.Edit: today we took the car for an oil change elsewhere cause we were in a hurry, but all our previous oil changed were at Ganley, and apparently with the last one they crossthreaded the plug making it super hard to get off, finally getting it off resulting it in being lost and cost us the cost of an oil plug and hours of our time!
I had a very great experience here when I purchased my Subaru. I LOVE my new Outback!! Janice was such a pleasant person to work with as well as Carlo. I was kind of a brat but hey, I had to make sure I was making the right choice when it comes to safety for me and my children. Thank you guys!!!!!
The service department was friendly and informative. The service was timely and efficient. I loved getting the outside of my car washed, but I would have liked the inside vacuumed and cleaned as well. I know Acura and Lexis does this for their customers.I love this dealership and I love my car!
Hi, Thanks Theresa, for the service follow up. I Greatly appreciated your thoughtfulness & if I were to grade Ganley Westside Imports Subaru, I would give an A+ which is the same as 5+ stars. My experience was exceptionally relaxing no stress or worries I felt completely confident in my service provider, Diego, he continiously reassured me of the progress of my vehical & kept me updated on the progress all the way up to the finished. He is a wonderful kind thoughtful person. He also apologize for the time passed which I didnt realize so much time had passed.I think it’s because of the several areas of comfort in the waiting room, supplied with breakfast snacks, beverage & multiple tv’s, also the friendliness of the staff each person I made eye contact with they politely greeted me. I felt pleasantly pleased as if I were among family and friends.Praise to the individual (s) who came up with this beautiful concept, an busness environment that feels like home. I’m sure every customer can speak to this beautiful friendly, family environment at Subaru Ganley Westside. All I can say is keep up the good work. Thanks guys🙃🙂😉👌🏾SincerelyGloriaOn Tue, Nov 12, 2019 at 2:30 PM
We recently bought our 3rd Subaru at Ganley—a used 2015 Subaru Forester.Unfortunately we discovered a problem with the AC. Ganley’s response was completely unexpected, and why we consider ourselves “customers for life”.....First off, they made a short notice appointment to accommodate our scheduling constraints, which was greatly appreciated!Second, they replaced the condenser at no cost given we had just purchased the vehicle. This caught us by complete surprise. Now, I would expect it to have worked when we bought it, but what was so fantastic was the high level of customer focus in taking care of the problem, no questions asked! This is what separates Ganley from other dealerships in my opinion.Gary
This location had better pricing than Ganley East. Same vehicle apples to apples was worth the 40 min drive from my home.I had no issues with their East side location (is a mile from my job, 10 min from my home); but when i am getting a much better deal from the West side location, I had to go there instead.
It took a good long while for the technician to diagnose the issue with my vehicle, however, Kevin Kissel went above and beyond to make up for the wait and to make sure that everything that needed to be done was addressed. He got me a loaner quickly, made sure the cost I paid was reasonable and was just generally a pleasure to work with. Theres something to be said for that, especially since I was a bit aggravated at the time. I love this dealership!
Karl made the car buying experience pleasurable. I usually dread the whole process. There was no pressure unlike one of the other sales people. Subarus sell themselves! I also like the service department as this is my 3rd Subaru from this dealership. Karl also took time to explain all the new features and took the car personally to the detail Dept to clean some finger prints. Outstanding sales person!
I was recommended this location after I had some problems with Ganley in Bedford. I couldnt be more happy that I took that recommendation and went. Every person I dealt with at this location was incredibly nice and ever so helpful. Any questions I had if one person didnt know 2 others did. I never felt pressured or forced into anything. Just knowledge behind every choice I made. Great location, personable and friendly staff, super knowledgeable. Would recommend to anyone looking for a new car.
The salesman was rude and insinuating that we could not afford a car. We just wanted to test drive to figure out which car we wanted after reading extensive reviews. My husband and the salesman practically were yelling at one another until he had to get someone else to help us and then he was dismissive. I would not buy from this dealership. It was unfortunate to get such rude customer service.
I just have some comments, I wanted to buy a hubcap for my tire as I lost one of them. When I asked about the price they told me that it will be approx. $75.00, however when I checked online I found it with $49 and some change plus taxes and delivery which is still less than what I was offered in store. I asked the sales parts guy to match prices but he he told me that he cant do this, actually this doesnt make sense its too expensive by all means and I wont buy it from subaru at all. I will keep searching to buy the genuine one with more reasonable price. Second thing I was told that my air filter needs to be changed however I changed it like 4 months ago and I had to pay almost $60 for the air filter. I want to know how does the maintenance work, is it the computer that says what needs to be changed or is it the maintenance guys do check the parts and make sure if they need to be changed or not. I changed the air filter outside the subaru maintenance by myself.
Ganley Subaru has a very professional and courteous staff. They take good care of my car, provide me with a detailed inspection report, offer competitive pricing for service and are always friendly. this is my second Subaru I have purchased from this location, and it wont be my last. I love my Subaru Outback #2 and have confidence in this dealership to offer fair and quality pricing as well as service.
Ganley dealership is customer friendly designed with bright open client space. The personnel are aware of clients needs and goals. The waiting area awaits with water coffee wifi television and couches as well as a work counter. The business process seems to be designed with efficiency as the goal. A rewarding place to do business.
1st class operation. Kevin took the time to stay in contact with me the whole time. He made several phone calls so I could understand the problem. In addition he made arrangements to have the problem solved at no cost to me. John Clifford(my salesman) also texted me and followed up with me to let me know any information he found. Really impressed with the whole experience. Will bring all my work to this dealership.
My 2012 Outback needed a service appointment since my sunroof was stuck in the open position. My appointment was efficient and courteous. I especially want to compliment Matts customer service. Loved the free car wash. I appreciate the availability of Saturday service. Ill be back.
Visit 3 - oil change and tire rotation took a little while, but no problem. They also fixed my luggage net and didnt charge me (even though the person on the phone told me they would). better experience this time.visit 2 - they scheduled me for a recall, I showed up early in the morning (at a pain with scheduling with my employer), and when I arrived they told me they didnt have the part. Would have been really nice for them to check that and contact me the days before.visit 1 - Was ok. Took a bit long for an oil change and tire rotation. Additionally, didnt get a car wash, The temp was above 30 when I was there so it should have been fine.
My family had a great experience at Ganley Subaru earlier this month. Keith was so accommodating, friendly, honest, and thorough during our time there. If you’re considering an Outback or Forester by Subaru, I would highly recommend working with Keith. He will surely take care of you. Thanks Keith. We love our Outback.Dan, Suzanne and Carmen
Your staff members are all so polite, and they truly listen to what I say about my car. Thats an important issue for me, and is an integral part of my reasons to stay with Subaru going forward. Ive been blatantly dismissed by the service staff of other companies (possibly because Im a woman) and thats incredibly frustrating. I never mind bringing my car in for service - thank you!
We discovered the Subaru Ascent at the 2018 Car Show in Cleveland. After seeing the vehicle, standard features and pricing our minds were made up, that’s what we wanted. We went to Ganley Westside Imports for a test drive and the service we received from the Sales Manager, Personal Sales person (Igor) and the finance dept it was a no brainer to buy from them. After a month long wait for our vehicle to be built we are wonderfully surprised with the quality and amenities on our Ascent. I would recommend anyone looking for a car check Ganley first. They sell a lot of brands. You won’t regret your decision.
Buying a new car for the first time in 10 years made me wonder what I was getting into but the team at Ganley Westside Subaru was easy to deal with and very quick at responding to questions. They also worked to get me into a new Forester with all our desires and wishing our budget. Will definitely send people here and be back next time we buy a new car.
Ganley Westside Subaru by far rivals and exceeds expectations comtpared to many other dealers Ive used for service. I had a pretty serious issue with my 2017 Impreza Starlink system and had contacted Subaru of America to open a case regarding this. Not only did the service manager Mark reach out to me and gave me his cell number to keep me up-to-date, Brandon in service went out of his way to make everything smooth. This car is just out of warranty and because the issue was reported within its warranty period without resolution, Brandon worked with Subaru to get this covered. But this wasnt all...There were recalls that needed to be handled that Brandon took care of. I didnt have to worry about a thing. Finally, I had a card for a free oil change but wasnt able to find it, so I was going to pay for the change. Nope, Brandon took care of this too. If you own a Subaru, and you havent used GWS for service, youre missing out. Even if you have to drive an hour to get there, they will accommodate you as if you bought a $350K Bentley. Its that good. Thank you Brandon and Mark, your service is stellar and have earned a customer for life.
Contacted Ganley Westside Subaru to have some outstanding recalls taken care of. The entire staff was helpful and friendly from the first phone call. They were accurate with their time estimate, and everything on the vehicle feels and looks great! Will definitely return in the future.
Update for reviewI have been to 3 subaru dealerships to have my 2013 legacy serviced for every service since the day I bought it. 5 years later I decided to take my car to AAA for a cheaper cost. I found out a lot about the service I have been receiving from these dealerships.Firstly, my tires were not being rotated when I paid for tire rotation with my oil change. I know this because my tread was checked each time and read that the tires were fine. I asked AAA to check my tires because they felt odd when driving. My front tires were down to the wires on the inside edges, and I was advised to have them replaced immediately for safety purposes. If my tires were rotated properly then the front ones would not have been so unevenly worn compared to the back and the mechanic would have noticed the wear on the inside edges.Secondly, after getting my oil changed at AAA my car reached 5.5k miles before the oil light came on. Whenever I would get the oil changed at subaru I would only get 3.5k to 4k miles before my oil light would come on. This leads me to believe that the recommended amount of oil was not fully put in as a cost saving measure. In the end I contacted corporate subaru to report these issues. They offered half of the cost of my new tires, and never followed through. I could not get a straight answer or if the three dealerships which I got my service from. So I am posting this review to caution other consumers. Mark your tires, double check your tread, and if your oil runs low early you may want to consider going elsewhere.Original reviewNot great. Went in to buy a car but they couldnt make a deal worth while. Got a car from Brunswick but came here for maintenance and wasnt too pleased. They werent very welcoming, were rushing me when I had questions, and didnt even tell me there was a waiting room. Found oil on my armrest when I got in the car. Wouldnt recommend the place.
My only experience with them was with the service dept. and it was pretty good. not amazing. 4 out of 5 starts. the customer service and the work they did were good. I did get some less than accurate info from one of the service people 3x that was more annoying than anything else. But overall I would def. recommend and I would go to them again without hesitation.
I have to say that this is the best experience Ive ever had at a car dealership. The only thing I ever felt they were trying to push on me was a beverage, which I eventually accepted. Even going in thinking I knew exactly what I wanted, Sherry Workman stuck it out with me while I test drove 4 different cars to find the one that fit my budget and ticked as many of the boxes on my wishlist as possible! The financing department is fantastic as well, they worked for hours to make sure all of the numbers worked out to what I needed them to be even though my financial situation was not ideal. Ive spent the last few days with my new car recommending Ganley Westside Subaru to everyone! I just hope Sherry is still working there when my lease is up so she can help me next time too! If your looking to get a new Subaru ask for her by name, she offered a no pressure environment, offered solutions to any problems, and explained everything I didnt completely understand.
My Legacy was part of a recall. All aspects of getting my car serviced were handled promptly and professionally. Both Ganley Service and Enterprise made sure that my repair and rental car needs were were met smoothly and quickly. This was very important to me because I live over an hour west of Ganley Subaru. Thanks!
I will never go back to Ganley Subaru Westside. I spent hours there trying to purchase a car on more than one day and each time they were unable to make me feel comfortable with the deal, if anything they made me feel I was inconveniencing them! They were rude and kept pressuring me to do things that upon questioning were unable to explain why they needed them. I will never repeat such an awful experience.Go to Park Auto in Akron, believe me Cleveland it is worth the drive! The whole team was welcoming, honest, fair, and knowledgeable about the process from the very start. I got prompt and informative replies from Shaun, the sales person I had the pleasure of working with. He took all hassle out of car buying and made it as much of an enjoyable experience as it can be. My family and I will definitely be back to purchase cars from them!
Jon and the Subaru team provided my wife and I with exceptional service that far exceeded our expectations by insuring that all of our needs and requests were met while treating us with a kindness that is too often rare. Jon worked around our complicated schedule and offered to make himself available on his days off if needed and in the end left us feeling like family members rather than customers.
Sales consultant Heather Labay is nothing short of fantastic! She is professional, knowledgeable, and great to deal with via phone, email, and in person. The whole staff there bent over backwards to finish my deal even though they had to stay past 9 pm. Their sales manager is a top notch professional as well. The whole experience there was such a pleasure that I would highly recommend buying a new or used vehicle through them. It was worth every minute of my over 3 hr drive, and although I love my local Subaru dealership, Ganley Subaru is simply one of the best.
My first visit was over the weekend, and I will say I had no complaints. I pulled right into the service center and an employee was right with me. Staff was personable and direct. The facilities were clean and orderly with complimentary bagels and coffee in the lounge area. I will be very likely to return for future service. Thanks. -MW
My husband and I just leased a 2018 Subaru Outback this morning. The dealership was the best experience weve ever encountered. No pushing or manipulating, the agent and finance department bent over backwards to work their best deal to the parameters we requested. Never thought Id ever recommend a car dealership to anyone, ever, but Ganley Westside Imports in North Olmstead definitely earned and deserves the honors:Tom Matthews, the Subaru Sales Consultant who was constantly moving, on the ball the entire time. He was friendly and easy going, and made all the gears move. Hes exactly who you always hope youll get when you shop for a car, but never seem to. We tripped and fell into the perfect sales person, just walking in to the dealership 15 minutes before closing on a Thursday night... crazy good luck.Carlos Matos, the Subaru Sales Manager who worked the bank(s) to get us the deal we wanted.Bob Zeleny, the Subaru Business Manager who finalized the deal quickly and painlessly once all the heavy grunt work was done.We did NOT want to shop for a car, but were forced to due to circumstances, and were on our guard, expecting very little. We are grateful for the conversion, and have already recommended Tom and GWI to all our friends on social media - we hope it successfully sends business your way. Either way, consider us permanent customers.

2022-03-07Love the service department at Ganley Westside Subaru! Jason, my service consultant, was very helpful with explaining everything, getting my loaner and executing the best customer service possible! The service manager, I forget his name, was also amazing and did what he could to make this experience flawless. I highly recommend this service department for all of your Subaru needs! They really take the time to make sure you feel like you’re the only one there (and it was busy when i was there) and they are really helpful with explaining everything to a T! Thanks guys for yet another wonderful experience!

2022-02-16This was the fastest and easiest car buying experience Ive had. We worked with Louis in Sales at Hyundai. He was helpful and easy to deal with, and the relief of him not pressuring us made for a great experience. We love our new vehicle, and plan on returning in the future for our next. 2022-01-22I had a wonderful experience. They were lovely people. Everything was done in a timely manner, and they even had a very nice human drive me home so I didnt have to wait at the dealership for hours. I will absolutely use this service department again.

2021-11-06This is the dealership to go to if you are looking for a Subaru, especially if you ask for Kieth! In this crazy market with limited availability it seemed impossible to find the Outback I wanted. I called almost every Subaru dealership in Ohio and everyone just blamed the “chip shortage” and tried selling me something else.Kieth at Westside Subaru put in the extra effort to look at what vehicles are being delivered and where. He was able to not only get my girlfriend the Outback she wanted, but also get the green one that I wanted.Excellent communication, straightforward pricing, low interest rates and quick turnaround!

2022-02-05I recently purchased a vehicle from this dealership. My salesman Louis Cheers was awesome, patient and very knowledgeable when it comes to making a sale. Louis was able to answer all my questions, the process went smoothly. Michael in the financial department was also knowledgeable and helpful. Overall I would definitely recommend this dealership and possibly may return for another purchase.

2022-07-13Great experience… traded in my 2020 Ram truck for Subaru Outback Wilderness. No hassle… gave me top blue book trade in value for my truck and wrote a check for the small balance. I give them a 10/10.

2022-05-25They were going through a CHANGE OF OWNERSHIP while I was buying my car. This caused delays. I understand that. My problem was with COMMUNICATION. I was very disappointed in that. I get if there is a delay but pick up the phone and give me a call to let me know. I didn’t get that. I will not be going back to this dealership anytime soon.

2022-03-21I had the best car buying experience here by far. The sales staff as was friendly and helpful. The real star was Dylan though. He was so patient and kind answering all of our questions and helping us get our dream Subaru. This is my second Impreza and i feel just as at home in it as my first one. Definetly recommend buying from here.

2022-04-16Disappointing visit in attempt to place factory order for a new vehicle. My first contact was inquiring if they participate in the Subaru VIP program and was told that they did. Upon arrival everything went smooth on test drive and my salesman Lennox was friendly and easy to work with. Then when time came to finalize the deal, the sales manager decided that he was only going to partially honor the VIP program details and would only complete the deal if I financed through the dealership despite the program details plainly stating that it is allowed to finance through the Subaru promotional rates. Overall a waste of time for myself and their staff. Would have preferred an honest answer that the VIP program was not being honored in the beginning from my initial email contact.
