I needed tires for my vehicle on a short noticed once again Omar Medina to the rescue! He ordered my tires on Monday he made arrangements for someone to call me on Tuesday (was his day off) which they did and I was scheduled for Wednesday afternoon.Another excellent service experience at Ken Ganley GMC Sandusky Ohio! I am so impressed with my car buying experience at Ken Ganley. Everyone I came in contact with was very friendly and professional. Ricardo was my salesman and he is definitely an outstanding employee for sure. He helped me get into a new truck and get me the payment I was looking for. I would highly recommend him if you are going to be in the market for a vehicle. I will be going back to Ken Ganley when we are ready to replace my wifes and daughters cars too.Update 5/6/22: Just wanted to add that this dealership also has an outstanding parts and service Dept too. Absolutely unprofessional. They treated my co-signer & myself as if we were giving them false information, Requested 3 years worth of income from a COSIGNER which I have never heard of. Took my down payment & made me pay for full coverage insurance, sign all papers under the impression I was approved for the car & then 5 days later after we had called multiple times with no response I received an email requesting more documents from my co-signer.
I’m almost 5 years into my purchase of my WONDERFUL GMC Canyon Denali Diesel. This is the best vehicle I have ever owned and buying from Ricardo Trevino at Kasper Buick/GMC was the most pleasant experience buying a vehicle I ever experienced. I now drive almost 2 hours to them to have my oil changed and for any ongoing maintenance needed for my LIFETIME WARRANTY🥰
They helped me so much! I was stranded with transmission issues over a holiday weekend, but they fixed my car, which happened to still be under warranty for 3 days, and gave me a loaner so I could go back home to Indiana & not miss work! Then they met me halfway with my repaired car when they were done! Couldnt have asked for a better experience!
Bought a car for 26,000 used. 2019 Challanger. Was supposed to be detailed and delivered. Poor detail job. Even worse than that was the fact that it had two different sets of tires on it. I called the sales manager about the problem he offered nothing. Pitifull way ti save a penny. I dont care if my car wasnt pre certified or not. Its a 26,000 plus car. Throw a new set of tires on it. I wont be doing business with them anymore.

Johnny at Ken Ganley, Sandusky, is a class act.He sold me my new truck over the phone due to me being from out of town. Then, when I arrived to officially sign, he had me in and out in 90 minutes. Walked me through me new features and even helped moved my belongings from one vehicle to the other.10 of 10 service from Johnny and all involved.

I went last week to trade in my car I had previously purchased through them for something bigger. I had Ricardo as my salesman again. He did amazing. I have been coming to this dealership for quite a while and my sales person is/has been Don Weichel. He is professional, kind, conscientious, understanding and supportive. He even calls from time to time to check on my well being, and he always makes sure that if I have any concerns about my suv, he addresses and takes care of them in a timely manner. Don is a top-of-line GOOD salesperson!!! 👍🏾
I have maintenence done on my car, on a regular basis, and am always greeted with friendly staff. I appreciate being able to wait for my car right there, in the dealership, with TV, coffee and bathrooms available. Thank you for keeping my car running top notch and for your friendly service.
Before buying the truck I told them , there was some areas of paint that needed fixed . They agreed to fix them . The truck was delivered after dark as I could not inspect that the paint job that well . The next day I looked the truck over , the major area was good . But the other areas looked terrible , my grandchild could of done better . 2 1/2 days after truck was delivered , the alternator went bad , called my salesperson and they said they would get management involved , still no word a day later . After sale customer service is not good . I would not recommend this place .
This was just the initial service of the new enclave, so not much involvedthe wait was short and the service lady answered a question i hadgood experiencein a separate thought - with electronic shift lever - be sure you practice getting into neutral BEFORE entering a car wash!
The parts and repair service was so goodI had parts on order waiting for a long timeThey held them /installed them and honored the insurance thru previous owner. My big conversion van was returned to me in the best clean condition it’s seen in a while. The people I dealt with were so nice. I’d take my van back there anytime I need to
Worked with Ricardo on purchasing a Buick Encore. The car was as expected based on the online advertisements (very accurate), the service and assistance provided by Ricardo was excellent. He was able to answer my questions and worked within my preferred budget. Thanks to him and the in house financing, I was able to complete everything in a single trip. I highly recommend this dealer - the staff are very good at their jobs and very helpful and friendly.
My experience here was great! We came from out of state and purchased a car without ever seeing it in person. We worked with Charlie, who was a great help and provided clear and transparent information about the vehicle, giving me confidence to buy before even seeing it. Mike from Kasper is very friendly and honest. He got me a great deal on my 2017 Chevy Equinox!! And helped me trade in my other vehicle and upgrade it for my husband. All the workers there are friendly and do everything they can to work with you. Definitely recommend Mike Owens!! He will get it done!!
The absolute worst car buying experience of my life. Was lied to multiple times. The finance department was the worst. I was pre-approved via the same bank I had purchased my last vehicle with. Specifically told them to only run a couple other banks “if” they thought they could get a better rate. Came back and told my “my bank” was at 7.5%!!! And “their” bank was offering 6%!! When I had, and showed them the pre- approval at 3.92%!! I was extremely upset and confused! Once I stated I’m calling my bank to see what was going on…. the finance manager walked out and dropped another piece of paper on the desk and walked away. Miraculously the rate dropped 3 points! Then once I noticed they had the term wrong and it was fixed… again… another miracle! It dropped to where my pre-approval had shown all along.Then there was the 1day that that turned into over a week to get my wheels painted. Was told I had to drop it off on a particular day/time because “that was when the truck comes” to picket up. Over a week later I go pick up my brand new ‘22 that had 168 miles on it when I dropped it off… now with 310 miles on and an empty gas tank!! My salesperson, a manager… no where to be found. The extremely nice sales gentleman that was there took down my concerns and said he’d have my saleswoman call me. Weeks later…. NOTHING!My daughter purchased a car the same day… we again specifically told them to only run their two top banks as my husband and I were house hunting. They hit our credit 8 times! When we address that situation we were told sorry… what do you want me to do about it?!! If this was a regular purchase at a regular store we’d return both vehicles! Oh… and when I dropped my car off to get the wheels painted… there was a female sales person who was extremely angry… yelling and cursing that she quits! I was not the only customer in the showroom. No manger came out to apologize… again nothing. The lack of respect and dishonesty in this dealership is appalling.Update: as you can see the “general manager “ responded… called the #, was transferred to a voicemail of the the general manager named “Pete”?! Left a message… 3 days later… again… NO RESPONSE! Oh, and the car my daughter purchased… it is showing needing an oil change! She has not even made a first payment or put 1000 mi on it! And both key fobs needed the batteries replaced the first week. And the milage on the original paperwork does not match the registration!***UPDATE: EVERYTHING was resolved! Not only was everything resolved… it was resolved at a level that more than exceeded my expectations. I learned that this particular dealership was recently acquired and as with all businesses there is a period of retraining and reorganization. John, the general manager, I “thought” may have been a bit slow to investigate/address my challenges, however learning he is running/reorganizing multiple dealerships, I now understand. Don’t get me wrong… John offered NO excuses and took full responsibility for the mishaps I experienced. He went above and beyond to make me feel that I was listened to, understood, and valuable as a person and customer.I was going to delete the original review… but as a business owner myself, I feel that anyone questioning if they should purchase from, or get service done from this dealership…. If they read this they will be comforted that even if there is a hiccup… as we are all human and make mistakes…John is an upstanding, honest, business man… “the real deal”… and will ultimately take care of any challenges.P.S. The service department is amazing! In particular… Heather is a bada#%! Thank you Heather for taking the time out of your busy day to “come to us” to educate/help us. Much appreciated!
We were very pleased and impressed with how professional and helpful Ricardo throughout our buying experience. He answered our questions, located another vehicle to our specifications and did an excellent job when the decision was made to purchase from Kasper to assure that everything was prepared in a timely manner. Ricardo explained the details of the vehicle very well and has reached out several times with emails and videos to make us fully aware of all the features on the vehicle. I could not say enough nice things about the customer service we received from Ken Ganley Buick GMC!! We were hours away from home participating in a baseball tournament when our front brakes went out. Heather, the service advosir, saved the day!!! Mike O is the man. Kept in contact with us prior to us getting there, no pressure once we arrived and smooth financing process. Traded in 2 vehicles for a nice CX9 and in and out in no time. If you’re looking for a laid back experience, highly recommend Mike and this team.
Vultures. Went in for a GM part. They annoyingly heckled me for 2 hours about financing a used Jeep SUV I was mildly interested in.70 miles away, I meet up with a friend and fellow member at my private campground. Hes in a bind over being sold a half-ton truck he was told had a tow package that turns out to have no such equipment on it and is struggling to pull his RV.Same dealership...small world.
I purchased I car from Mike Owens, and he was amazing! He listened to our needs and budget, found me a car that fit both. He was very knowledgeable on the features and accessories. I enjoyed the experience with Mike Owens and Mike Pierce so much I sent my mother to them shortly after I bought from them and she bought from them as well.
After multiple visit to many dealerships and many conversations about what I wanted I ended up at Kasper. I called to make sure they had the two cars I was looking at. They never gave me the run around, always respectful and polite. They provided all the information I requested and had the vehicle ready for pickup when I told them I was ready to purchase.I ended up with a very nice used Buick. I had some concerns leaving the lot and the manager of service gave me his card, told me he would meet me to pick up the car if I still had the same concerns after driving it for a few days. Did I mention the car was sold “as is”? He did not have to do this, so he went above and beyond!Kasper had the best price and a really decent drivetrain Warranty policy - you don’t see this often. Mike was very knowledgeable about the dealership, their policies and the Buick app/service. I highly recommend visiting them if you are in need of replacing you car or just would like an upgrade. Purchasing a car is very stressful, especially if it wasn’t in the plans. Mike and the team at Kasper helped ease the pain.
The team at Kasper Buick GMC is fantastic! We highly recommend them and we will definitely return in the future - for service and sales! We live out of town and we were in Sandusky visiting family, when we noticed that one of our tires was slowly losing air. I called Kasper and was grateful that they offered me a service appointment the very next morning. Ben, in the Service Department, went above and beyond to make sure that our vehicle was taken care of and that we were able to return home safely the next day. Ben is professional, knowledgable, personable and exceptional to work with - I really appreciated all of his help and attention to detail in solving the issue with our vehicle. Hes a great communicator and he made sure that I knew what was going on throughout every step in the repair process. Its tough to be away from home when a vehicle emergency happens. I was interested in a cash purchase of a van. The website did not list that the automatic door did not work. My brother and I spoke to Collette prior to driving an hour to the dealership. The dealership was specifically told what I was willing to pay. We were asked to come in. Upon arrival Collette never spoke to us. My husband and I were placed with a very arrogant and deceptive salesman. We test drove the vehicle and realized the door did not work. Upon arriving back at the dealership we told the salesman about the door. He replied with information regarding his ability to sell because the door opens and closes. He was aware but the information was never disclosed to us. We decided we would still like to purchase the vehicle. I offered $500 more than I told Collette and the offer was refused. It was $500 less than the asking price. The dealership did not fully disclose the info about the vehicle and purposely wasted our time, as they were aware of our willingness to pay prior to driving there. This was easily my worst car shopping experience.
I came in town for my sisters memorial. My engine light came on and I drove it to Kasper the day after Memorial day, one of their busiest days. They quickly took my car in and checked it and set me up with a rental so I wouldnt be late. They ordered the parts and had it ready by noon the next day. They are incredibly kind, extremely knowledgeable and Im so grateful for their help. Wish I lived closer because I would choose them every time!
Im putting this post in to let people know what a great experience I had at Kasper GMC in Sandusky Ohio, And the prompt and outstanding service that I received in the sales department with Mike Owen, The gentleman treated me like family and had me in and out in 1 hour when I bought my new truck, that is something you usually dont find when you go to a dealership. Its usually waiting around and playing the game. I went with a friend to test drive a new Buick Encore and couldnt believe how they treat their customers. We met a salesperson named Charlie and he made us feel like we were part of his family (I had low expectations), he welcomed us in, got us water and coffee and asked what we were looking to accomplish in our visit today. Charlie was very knowledgeable about the vehicle and answered all of our questions. At no time did I get that scummy feeling that the salesperson just want our money and didnt care about what my friend wanted. My friend was pleased with the deal and bought the Encore (love the blue color). Ive been buying my Buicks at a dealer in Avon and I can honestly say when my lease is due Ill be going to see Charlie. Thanks Kasper Buick and Charlie for a surprisingly enjoyable experience!

I really enjoy going to Kasper. They take great care of my car when I bring it into the service department. Any time I am in the waiting room and Don is working the sales floor, he never hesitates to chat with me and ask how Im doing (and how my car is doing too). He helped me find my current car even though I was picky, and I am very happy with my experience there.

Came from out of town to visit Cedar Point, my car battery died during the trip. I chose Kasper because they were a AAA dealer and had good reviews online. They were able to get me in and out in about an hour, and the cost was less than quotes I received from other repair shops in the area. Plus they had a cute play/ sitting area, a bonus as I had 3 children with me. Would definitely recommend to those traveling!

I went to Kasper Buick with no intentions of purchasing a vehicle but to simply check out a Buick Enclave that we seen online. After seeing it and taking it for a drive my husband and I came back an hour before closing and test rode it one more time before we purchased it!!! They did a great job giving me a lot for my trade in. They were fast finding me a new vehicle and Cassandra did a good job keeping in communication with me through the whole process. The only thing that I normally get when buying a new car is usually make sure you have a full tank of gas as you leave the lot after making your purchase, but here they did not. Overall I was happy with the experience.
Mike Owens helped me purchase my new car and I was blown away by the experience and professional from Mike and the whole Kasper team. I was very indecisive when I first started car shopping. Mike was the ONLY salesperson I talked to that actually took the time to figure out what car was best for me. Every other salesperson at the other dealerships just wanted to sell me the car they wanted to sell, but not Mike! I was very impressed and will be sending all my friends to MIKE OWENS! Best of the best!
Charlie and James went above and beyond getting my car fixed that I purchased at Kasper Toyota. I was caught in the middle of the transition and Firelands Toyota didnt want to take ownership of what they sold me. Kasper Buick was awesome and fixed my car with NO PROBLEMS! 👍

This dealership gave me quite a runaround when I purchased a new truck. I was a little upset with them but meantime the service department has always been on the ball.They explain everything about the service I brought my truck in for and future maintenance service and cost. Knowing the cost ahead of time is nice so a person can make financial planning.And they have a nice waiting lounge with free coffee, bottle water, and donuts. ( if you get there early enough. ) Time passes quickly with a TV , magazines, comfortable seating, and plenty of action coming and going. I dont mind coming here at all. 🙄

I purchased a 2017 Chevy Equinox here back at the end of June. My sales associate was Charlie G. I went in with a short list of what I needed in my next vehicle and he did an excellent job finding a vehicle that was on the lot with the features I needed and in my price range on the first try. It was love at test drive for me and my Equinox. I appreciated Charlies acceptance of what I was looking for and not trying to upsell me a more expensive vehicle or try to pressure me into something I didnt need/want.

My aunt recommended Kasper to us because this was where she bought her car. My mom and I live about an hour and 15 minutes away from this place and it was well worth the trip ! My aunt drove us out. We were just looking to get an idea on what we could do to help our specific situation. Charlie started working with us, he explained everything very well and made us feel like we were important. Clark did the same thing. They both worked with us and my mom walked away with a 2016 Chevy Malibu LT ! I definitely know where I’ll be going when I’m ready to purchase a vehicle & I’ll recommend them to anyone. On their business cards, it literally says “Well worth the trip!” and that is so very true !

Stopped in to the collision center get an estimate on a new tail light cover (that I broke backing into a pole) and dan s helped me out. The Sales Manager Jenny was simply superb in this transaction. She was responsive and extremely pleasant. Collette in the office was also delightful and very informative especially as I was car shopping via the Internet. Overall, I am very pleased with my new vehicle and the service I received from Kasper Buick. My Encore was detailed and had a full tank of gas when I picked it up. I love Kasper Buicks lifetime warranty too. I have to say, the deal I received on my vehicle was unsurpassed by any dealership within a 75 mile radius and probably more but I didnt look. I stopped looking when several salesmen at other dealerships kept telling me I should buy the car at the price they had to beat which was Kaspers price! The other salesmen flat out told me they could not compete with the price and actually stopped trying to sell me a car when they knew they were not competitive! Found a vehicle online from Kasper Buick GMC through AutoTrader. Was able to easily get in touch with a salesman named Rick for a test drive. The process for finishing paperwork and finance went smoothly and incredibly quickly. I have least several vehicles from Kasper Buick GMC (2 Acadias and a Buick Envision) and every time I go in there the experience is greater than the last, and I never thought that was possible. The salesmen there are always so friendly and accommodating. I once got a nail in my tire and the service department took care of me quickly.. I know that if I ever need anything I can quickly pick up the phone and they will be there to help me out .
Ricardo Trevino was awesome. I got off work late and wasn’t able to get over to check out the Silverado I wanted until near closing time. He stayed nearly three hours after dealing with me and my pickiness. I’m sure I wasn’t the easiest to deal with. He was able to beat my other lender’s interest rate by over 2 percent and got me the payment as close to my budget as he could. Overall great experience. I will be coming back in the future! I freaking LOVE this dealership. I live nearby in Lorain, I was looking for a vehicle ever since my car accident in 2018, and I must say, I wish I found this one sooner. We bought a Captiva bout 4months ago and it drove nice and so we bought the car and I asked for spare keys because it only came with 1 set. I kept calling and asking MIKE OWEN a sales worker there and he kept telling me a different story every time and gave me the run around. So basically he got is money and no longer wanted to help us. That is not professional.

2022-06-02I recently bought a 2015 GMC Canyon from Ken Ganley Buick GMC Sandusky. The experience started out great after a quick test drive and small negations I put a down payment on the truck and agreed to come back in a few days to pick it up and pay the rest. There was a dome light out in the truck and they said they would have it ready before I picked up the vehicle. A few days later when I returned and paid the rest for the truck I checked out the dome light and everything looked great. Only issue I had was the spare set of keys were lost but after reaching out a few times the salesman Todd and manager John were able to locate them and mail them to me. Overall it was a good experience and I appreciate the customer service of finding the spare keys and making it right. I would recommend visiting them when looking for your next truck or vehicle!

2022-06-02Looking for a specific vehicle was proving challenging here in Michigan.I found the perfect vehicle online at Ken Ganley . I have never even thought of purchasing a vehicle online before,, but the sales rep, Mica , Assured me that it was painless.Indeed it was , after having purchased 20 or so vehicles over the past 40 years this was the easiest purchase I have ever made. From the time I submitted the required information to the time they said come get your vehicle was under 30 minutes, and then when I can’t get down there to pick it up that up , The vehicle was delivered to my home less than 24 hours later. It just doesn’t get any easier than that.They even collected and paid the Michigan sales tax. It was a great experience and I appreciate it.

2022-03-24I totaled my Jeep and was looking for a replacement for weeks. I visited several dealers and gave each one my max budget. Every one of them inflated their prices so high and refused to show me how they arrived at their final number. Johnny was the only person I worked with in 3 weeks that came back with the number I told him I needed and a breakdown of prices. They even delivered my car to me the next day. 2021-08-02After shopping around multiple dealerships for a vehicle that would meet our needs we are happy our search ended here. Johnny Perez is an outstanding salesmen and is a great addition to the Ken Ganley team. He was patient and understanding to our current situation and was willing to work with us to figure out the best option. 5/5 stars for Johnny!Only complaint we have (which is why I left 4/5 stars) is the amount we got for our trade in. We went to a couple dealerships before we ended up here and they, along with KBB, appraised our vehicle at a much higher amount than what we received (like $3,000 more). If it wasn’t for our awesome salesmen being so personable and understanding and their dealership having a vehicle we loved - we probably would have went back to one of the first ones who offered us more. At the end of the day, we chose to accept the trade in amount because the other ones did not have an Encore GX that we liked and was within our price range. Overall, we were very impressed with the smooth process and the awesome team they have. And of course, we love our new vehicle!Highly recommended - ask for Johnny Perez you won’t be disappointed!
