K B Confections did our wedding cake and it was beautiful! They were very helpful in making recommendations when planning for the headcount and number for tiers. The cake was phenomenal and we had many guests comment that it was the best wedding cake theyve ever had! 10/10
What can I say that hasnt been said already? Every time I order a cake they never disappoint. I ordered this lamb cake for Easter, I picked it up Saturday, usually Im skeptical about cakes made ahead but not with K B Confections. Their craftsmanship that goes into baking is unmatched! Moist, delicious and not overly sweet. Even purchased some macaroons when I picked my cake up, unfortunately had to share some with someone that doesnt even like macaroons but she loved the ones from here! The only thing I regret about my recent visit here is not buying more macaroons.
I ordered custom sugar cookies for my baby shower last weekend and they were a huge hit. Not only were they adorable but they were also extremely delicious. Everyone loved them! The staff was very friendly and efficient. I will be ordering all cakes and bakery items from KB Confections from now on. 10/10!
Love this place! Everything is delicious! Worth every single calorie! The atmosphere is awesome. Great lighting, Serene paint colors... I could easily sit with a cup of one of their speciality drinks relaxing all day! Definitely go!
They have the best macaroons, cupcakes, and sweets! Their cakes also are so beautiful! Best of all is how amazing their staff and the owner is! I ordered macaroons for my mom for Mother’s Day, and due to a family emergency I missed picking up the order. Karen went out of her way to make sure I got my order and my mom could enjoy her delicious, beautifully decorated macaroons! You NEED to come here!
Today at KB Confections, I had one of the best customer service experiences I’ve ever had. I dropped in to look for Valentines treats and asked if they had any Boston cream pie cupcakes (my husband’s favorite). That was not one of the flavors available and I was too late to custom order them. I chose two other flavors, but the lady I was dealing with suggested I get one of their yellow cake with chocolate ganache cupcakes as it is similar to their Boston cream pie. Then, un-asked, she gave me a container of their homemade custard to make our own cream pie cupcakes. It was a wonderful experience and I so appreciate the effort to help me! I will be back and encourage everyone else to check them out!
KB Confections made our perfect wedding cake! My husband and I did informal tastings by purchasing treats from various bakeries to help us narrow down our choices. When we visited KB Confections, Karen came over to talk to us and answer our questions. It was totally unexpected as this did not happen at any other bakery (especially on a busy Saturday), and it made us feel very valued and appreciated. All of the staff was very helpful throughout the planning process, and we received so many compliments from our guests about the cake. We count down the days to our anniversary because we saved the top tier and we are so excited to eat it again - it is that good!
I purchased macarons & rented the tier for my daughters bridal shower. They were amazing & everyone enjoyed them! Blueberry cheesecake, sea salt caramel & almond raspberry.

I ordered a cassata cake (literally my favorite dessert) for a birthday party. This was my first time getting one from here. The team here is phenomenal. I suggest allowing them to have creative freedom if you can as they really were able to show off their skill set. We gave them colors and they provided a beautiful work of art. Not only did our wedding cake look good, the flavors and textures were out of this world. LOVE LOVE LOVE!
I suggest following them on Instagram to check and see if they select your name for a free cupcake! Got my free cupcake today along with some macarons and they were DELICIOUS. The vanilla raspberry cupcake is one of the best cupcakes I’ve ever had. The macarons were outstanding as well and are a decent price for the quality. Normally at Whole Foods or other chain stores they sell frozen macarons for around the same price, but these were so fresh and made with love. Thank you KB Confections for brightening my day!
I’ve ordered cupcakes, macarons, and cakes from KB and have never been disappointed! I can’t get over how good the frosting is on both the cupcakes and cakes! I recently ordered the peanut butter chocolate cake for my cousin’s birthday and it was delicious. The coffee drinks are also on point. Awesome place to visit if you’re in the area and in the mood for a sweet treat!
First time trying KB Confections after driving past the cute storefront so many times. Ordered a cake (chocolate truffle) online for a friend’s birthday and it turned out great! Looked amazing and tasted heavenly. Not super sweet, which I appreciate. Highly recommend!
We enjoyed our recent experience here. They have made ordering a cake so easy during this pandemic. You can just order it online. We picked out what kind of cake we wanted and the date and time we would pick it up. They bring the cake right out to you when you get to the bakery. You dont even have to get out of your car. We got the cassata cake for my parents anniversary and it was fantastic. We will order another cake from here!
The macarons here are heavenly!!! My favorite was the creme brulee but they are all great! The place itself is beautiful.

I have ordered two cakes over the past few years and had countless cupcakes of theirs. Everything KB makes is not only gorgeous but delicious. For my toddlers birthday they made a custom cake with pictures of her two guinea pigs on it from pictures I sent them. It was amazing. So glad to have them right down the street. If you want a custom cake this is the place to go!

Ive gotten cupcakes and other pastries and coffee here for birthdays and theyre always well decorated and delicious. I stopped in with my fiancee for a wedding cake sampling and the American Butter Cream and Strawberry frostings are both really good if youre into that sort of thing.
Delicious!!!! We stopped in to check this bakery out because they make the Cassata cake served at Angelo’s Pizza and the Cassata cake that they make is the BEST AROUND! Well, we wanted to see what else they make. We bought several beautiful gourmet cupcakes and we were blown away! Each one was scrumptious! The cakes were tender, moist, and full of rich flavor. The icings and ganaches were delectable. We couldn’t believe how good cupcakes could be! But my new favorite treat in the whole world is their peanut butter cookie!!! Seriously! I consider myself a peanut butter cookie connoisseur and I was BLOWN AWAY! BEST PEANUT BUTTER COOKIE IN THE WORLD!! I have already informed my husband that I would like a dozen of these magnificent treats for my birthday! Drop in and taste for yourself!! A+++++++++ Nice people too!!:)
INCREDIBLE Cassata Cakes! We have ordered custom 3D cakes for many occasions and they are ALWAYS the talk of the party. Awesome fondant work. Always delicious, not too sweet, cake is very moist. Everyone always raves and asks where the cake is from. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! -- Also, the fresh coffee or latte is always great to have when picking up the cake. My daughter LOVES the cupcakes and caramel brownies. Beautiful shoppe too! Try it once and youll never go anyplace else!
This is my all time favorite bakery. The fresh cinnamon rolls are spectacular and the Saturday banana pudding is amazing. The espresso drinks are extremely well made and you’d be hard pressed to find a better space to enjoy your morning coffee.
Macaroons are delicious but their regular cupcakes were very lackluster for the price. I’ve had much better from the local grocery store.
We had our wedding cake done here in 2018 and got so many compliments. We plan on getting every cake for a special occasion here. We are about to order a cake for our daughters 2nd birthday!
Amazing! Theyve done my childrens birthday to baptism cakes and always with the sweetest little decorations. They have the best cupcakes as well! By far my favorite bakery around!
The pastries are wonderful and the ambiance is about the best around. I wish more of the reviews would mention how well the tea is prepared. They are using tea from Storehouse Teas (a local tea purveyor with high standards) and Melanie is very knowledgeable in how to prepare a proper cuppa. It is true- the right staff really does make a difference! Ill be back!
One of the Best cake shops in Northeast Ohio, our local favorite.Designs are equally impressive to flavor.The cake is moist, the frostings are delicious without being too sweet.For some reason its hard for bakeries to get both of those just right for our tastes.
I used KB Confections to design a wedding cake for my wedding. I could not have been more pleased with the result. I was really nervous because I had really wanted fondant for a smooth finish, but had to opt for buttercream to save cost. I still ended up loving what they were able to do -- you couldnt even tell it wasnt fondant when you were looking at it! The cake turned out beautiful -- it was everything I hoped for -- and everyone raved at how great the cake tasted.They also made a tray of cupcakes for my now-husband. I think Karen was a little hesitant about them because my husband had a very strange request on how he wanted them (red velvet with a cream cheese filling and buttercream topping -- talk about instant cavities!), but she accommodated his request and they, too, were great!In all, I was so happy with the service at KB Confections. Karen was wonderful to work with and was always there to answer our questions. I would recommend them to anyone needing a shop to go to for wedding cakes, cupcakes, etc.
I love going to KB every time I visit Cleveland! Everyone in the shop is always so friendly! Fantastic service, delicious treats, and a great place to get a bit of work done. The other day it was raining, and the sound of the rain on the greenhouse roof was so serene! Cant wait to go back again! The lemon squares, macarons, and banana pudding are dynamite! Thanks KB!

Small little quaint confectionery/ coffee shop. I liked that my pastry was presented on a plate and not a paper bag like Starbucks does. My only mild issue was getting on the WiFi could have been easier.
Attended a baby shower here. Good customer service, area to rent out is for about 30 people, delicious bakery, popular in the Cleveland area. The window sill area in the rental space couldve been wiped off- dirt was on there from bugs and plants.

2022-05-09This is a lovely local bakery! I ordered a small cake for my birthday and I was really impressed with how it turned out. The frosting isn’t overly sweet, and the cake was very moist and delicious. I received many compliments about the cake design, it turned out just how I had envisioned. The lady who took and processed my order was also friendly and inviting. I definitely recommend paying this place a visit. Everything in the display cases also look wonderful as well!!

2022-01-15A true bakery. Everything is made in house. You can tell that the baker has real passion for what they do. I picked up a variety of delicious desserts for my wife to take to a girls tea party. Not a single complaint and everyone wanted to know where to get the amazing creme brulee macarons.

2022-03-29After rescheduling our reception four times because of COVID-19, we were finally able to celebrate last weekend. KB Confections was great to work with. We picked up right where we left off two years ago. Our cake was absolutely beautiful and our guests said it was sooooo good. :)

2021-05-08I’ve been going to KB for awhile now and everyone that works there including the owner is so kind and welcoming! Not only are her cakes and treats beautiful to look at, they also are equally delicious. I recommend the coffee and the Milky Way cupcake! I’ve ordered a cake here for every birthday or special occasion for my family and friends. A few weeks ago, I ordered a cake and she was extremely busy and wasn’t able to make it but offered me an even BETTER cake and complimentary macarons. I came in today and she was worried I was upset about that and wouldn’t come back but how could I ever?! Karen is extremely hardworking and puts love and passion into everything she makes. Also, why would I ever deprive my mind body and soul of her sweets?! Lol! I don’t know why I haven’t made a review sooner for this gem of a store and lady. Also please look at the cupcakes I got for my mom today for Mother’s Day, they were amazing!

2020-02-15I am very upset I had to write this. I ordered 4 cakes from there and the owner has gotten ruder/ more unprofessional throughout the years. She doesn’t take any comments on what I want done as I am paying for it and doesn’t cooperate. The cakes were very pretty and got great comments on them but I will not tolerate rude and unfriendly behavior. I am fortunate I found a great bakery a few blocks away! The last 3 were KB Confection cakes and the Eyeball was the new bakery! Cake designs are all beautiful however now I also get professional/ friendly service!! You just make a baby shower cake for last Friday two baby feet cake!

2021-11-20This is the cake I wanted versus what I got. I sent kb confections this photo via email like they asked,with the specific details that it be shiny black and gold. I understand if it was not possible but that should’ve been something that was communicated before hand.i called giving the owner every opportunity to make this right and got nothing. I spent over 200 dollars trying to support my local bakery and this is what I got.

2021-10-12Wow. Their cupcakes are great! Loved the density and moist cupcake paired with the cream cheese frosting. I also tried a few macarons and a pretzel gooey bar, which were just okay but Id definitely return for a cupcake to treat myself. The staff was friendly.
