I want to share my experience with buying our house. We worked with agent Nikki Horvath from Jose Medina and Associates for 3 years looking for a house based on what we told her we wanted. We did not look at houses frequently during those 3 years.We thought we finally had someone on our side. HUGE MISTAKE!After such a long time we built trust with her and this ended up being the biggest mistake of our lives! Once we thought we found a house and put an offer, things got crazy and rolled fast. She changed in no time to be a speedy, pushy person; it was like a roller coaster, sign, sign, pay, pay... Since we trusted her, we followed with her recommendations on which house inspector to use. Young nice guy, but didnt have a clue how to properly inspect the house, as we found out later.Next it was Stonegate Title Agency, that turned out to be complete disaster; again recommended by Nikki.It was horrible. We found out after the sale was completed, that our house is subject to a home owner’s association (HOA), the seller nor their agent disclosed this information and it is required by law to do so. Yet, per Nikki’s recommendation, we signed all the papers without any insurance as she recommended because her words we were handled by a very trusted title agency. We were very adamant not to purchase HOA house, yet we end up with one. We wouldnt even look at this house if information was provided as it should have been. Per Nikki’s assurance, this transaction was handled by a very trusted title agency, so we signed the papers.Also, if you were in your old house for very long time, e.g. over 20 years, dont let your agent tell you that you must move out in 30 days; she/he can make closing time longer. They just dont like to do it because again, they try speed up everything before you have a chance to rethink anything and they make money fast.I blame our Realtor for everything, because we listened to her and her recommendations and all of them failed beyond what we could imagine. Forget that anyone will help you, especially after the sale is closed.

I waited to write this review because we used Legacy Group to both sell and buy our home. It started in early June 2019, we contacted Joses group and we were paired with Jason Hall to sell our home in Barberton. He gave us fantastic advice on prepping our home for sale. On July 1st, 2019 their wonderful listing team arrived at our home, they were an absolute delight as they took beautiful photos of our home for the listing. Our home was on the market for 6, yes SIX, hours and there was an offer, and then another offer. We were shocked. Then when the home we had planned to purchase ended up being a disaster we called Jason again and Jason referred us to Jill Jackson. Jill was in the trenches with us, we saw a lot of homes, including one that was clearly not the home advertised, and she was there to laugh it off with me. I absolutely adore her. She had so much joy, and not just the yay I sold a house joy, but a genuinely happy for us joy when we purchased our home. I will also say this group is a team, when Jill was out of town other agents jumped in to keep our search going. Without a doubt, if there ever comes a time to sell and buy again, well be calling this team.

Communication was great! Sell went smoothly. I had the house listed with another realtor prior to listing with Jose and Jason. Though I really liked the realtor as a person, the communication was awful. I felt like her heart wasnt into selling any more. Jason and Joses group kept me in the loop from showings scheduled, to feedback from those showings and even recommendations for repairs. I now have a 2nd property listed with them and received an offer in record time. I will be using them in the future.

2021-12-27Brianna was an absolute pleasure to work with!!! She was assigned to us after aproperty inquiry and my family and I quickly bonded with her. I was in mortgages fora decade and have a lot of friends who are realtors, so I didn’t want to choose onefriend over another, so we decided to choose someone new, and we’re so glad wedid! Brianna was attentive and genuinely cared about helping my family find our newhome. If you get the chance to work with Brianna, consider yourself extremely lucky! Everyone on the team was great to work with as well, and extremely responsive, which is a rare find in this industry.

2022-04-27Cindy Carpenter is amazing! Without her, we would 100% not be in our beautiful house in one of our most desired neighborhoods. The situation was challenging – we were moving from out of state and only had 1 week if we wanted to see the home we would buy in person. She worked very hard for us, sending letters to the neighborhoods we wanted to be in. When we came into town, inventory was slim but Cindy worked her magic and found us great listings to look at. She never pressured us, is an extremely reliable communicator, and works quickly to schedule showings and write offers. She has a great reputation in the realtor community with an expansive network. 2022-02-04I will absolutely NEVER consider selling my home again without Nikki and the Jose Medina Team. Nikki and her consigliere, Stacy, proved the meaning of real customer service and why the Jose Medina team is #1 in OH.They continually went over and above with communication. Most sales go smoothly, but I had a situation that left my sale in jeopardy of falling through or taking too long and losing my new house & locked interest rate. If it wasnt for the bonkers experience and knowledge that Nikki and Stacy have, the deal wouldve collapsed. They put in more hours, effort, phone calls, and texts than I could imagine ensuring my house was closed and closed before I lost everything.Not only did they save my sale, but I was also to get my listed price within 14 days. The Jose Medina Team is the BEST in the business, I couldnt be happier with the entire process.I have worked with other agents/companies previously and it was the worst experience ever. If you want your home to sell at a great price, go smoothly, and have a great experience. Nikki and her team are in a league of their own compared to any other realty company I have worked with!!!

So if you are looking to buy or sell a house I highly recommend Brianna Lehman as the realtor. She is so amazing and she really worked hard to find the right house for me. Brianna worked around my schedule and was always ready to answer any of the questions I had.I also have to give a huge shout out to Briannas entire team that made the buying process so smooth. 2022-05-17It has taken me some time to write this review, but better late than never. I could not be happier using Jose Median & Associates services in selling our house back in December 2021. We were building a new house and originally looked at using another well known realtor in the Canton area and did not have a very pleasant experience with the sales rep at the initial interview. After that his follow up was non existent. My wife and I decided to move on before we really got started.Which now leads to Jose Medina. They were awesome from the beginning. Our sales agent, Rachel Hogue helped to set a price on our house and was 10k more than the previous company suggested. To cut it short, we sold the house in 2 weeks, received our price, and was able to time the selling with the buyers with the closing of our new house.Communication is one of the most important things for me with any business I choose to work with. Jose Medina was excellent. Rachel Hogue as our sales agent was great along with the rest of the team I worked with including Sara Young, as our marketing specialist, and Stacy Gouge, as our closing manager. Great team!

2021-12-31Cindy Carpenter helped my husband and I purchase our first home! Her and I kept in contact a few times through the years but we weren’t ready to buy quite yet- but she always checked in with us to see if there was anything we needed. No obligation, just simply being helpful. We happened to see my grandmas old house on Zillow and I immediately called her. She got us in the house by 7pm on a Sunday when she should be with her family. She made the whole process of buying our first home a breeze. If there is anyone I could recommend it would be her by far. Her team is also extremely accommodating and offer a truck to help the move go a little easier!
