Ive had the pulled pork several times. It has been very consistent in flavor, texture, and quality. Has a great taste with or without their very good BBQ sauce. The prices are good and the service is as good as it gets. They work hard to please. Cant wait to have the briskit they have twice a week. Give them a try. I think youll come back for more.
I stopped in yesterday after work to give this place a try after hearing about it last week. The place smells amazing as soon as you pull in. I ordered a full slab of ribs an mac an chz. They were the best ribs I have ever eaten in my life, an Im fat an like ribs. Lol. Not to smokey. Tons of meat on the bones. You will struggle to finish them. Customer service was great an prompt. I will definitely be back soon. This is authentic BBQ. Please dont waste your time at those chain bbq joints. They dont compare. Go try Jones Bones an you wont be disappointed.
The food was barely warm. Flavors were decent, might have been better if it were hot. The place smelled like old grease. Walking into the location, the outside is filthy (not a great first impression) garbage can in front was overflowing, the walkway is filthy, doorway is filthy, floors were greasy. The girl who took my order and packed it up was very nice. The guy in the back had an attitude. We wont be back. My suspicion is that this place only survived because there is nothing else around.
Ive eaten BBQ all around the country and in my opinion this little place rates at the very top of my list. The pulled pork, chicken, and brisket were all excellent and the brisket may be the best Ive ever tasted hands down. Just dont wait to late to put your order in because just like any good BBQ place the smoked meats dont last long.
Food is top notch what a local gem this place is. Stunning selection of BBQ wish they had some pulled chicken but thats just me. Inside dining is fine for the area, not a terrible dense location but this restaurant stands out from the rest. The smells are always amazing driving past. Prices are fine, menu has good selection cant really complain about anything they do here.
A friend told me about this place due to a event their food truck catered. My wife and I stop in for our 1 year anniversary for lunch. The place is clean, the staff is amazing, and the food is out of this world. The ribs are amazing. The pulled pork is to die for. Their loaded fries...OMG. You can’t go wrong eating here. We have made this our favorite place to eat. The owners are always welcoming like they have known us for years, and they treat all the customers that way. From first timers to their regulars. You can go wrong eating here. It’s a definite must try if your in the area.
Delicious food, very very friendly staff. Just went in today to place a catering order for my daughters HS graduations.. Sampled their BBQ and ended up ordering one of everything from their catering menu. Looking forward to my daughters graduation, thank you Jones Bones...
So I was cruising down Island Road on my bike, noticed JBBBQ&G on the southwest corner at 82, pit fired up and thought my wife made the spaghetti sauce already.., kept going, zig zagged down toward Medina and Erhart and somehow my Roadglide found its way back up 83 to 82 east to Jones Bones and practically drove itself into the parking lot. Maybe not..but the point is I couldnt stop thinking about authentic Southern barbeque and my belly cant stop making what resembles purring sounds after thoroughly chowing down the 1/2 rib w coleslaw and baked beans. It was delicious and the takeout process was seamless. Someone once said Ill be back!..and I most definitely will. Thanks for making my day ..and my dinner..peace..
We visited yesterday at about 610, 20 minutes before closing. While I understand that can be frustrating, you have limited hours and close right when everyone is trying to get dinner. We ordered, and while waiting for our food even more people, also first timers, came in at about 5 minutes to close. They couldn’t prepare what one customer asked for because the flat top was off....which meant they couldn’t make at least half the menu. They could-they just wouldn’t turn it on. That tells customers, especially first time customers, that you care more about going home than providing them the great meal you advertise. We literally live 2 minutes down the toad and all of our food had to be heated up in the microwave, so it must have all been turned off for a while. Even Chinese food 20 minutes away arrives here hot. The food was good but I won’t be dying to return or highly recommending. You’re a new business, the last thing you want is turning off new customers. And a word of advice from a fellow business owner, closing time just means that’s when you allow the last customer to come in. You provide the same great service that you provided to the first customer of the day, to the last. Don’t “close” until your paying customers leave.
Its sad that I have to give this place such a low rating. The guy clearly can smoke some meat. Yet the lack of masks is a business mistake. I think they are overstating how many people care about politics. Its just basic math, and also why most businesses dont make politcal affiliation so known. Most americans didnt vote last election, and the people who did basically did so at 50/50. So the majority of people dont care and just want to stay alive and not spread a virus. The odds that every employee has a medical condition the prevent mask wearing is comical at best, and GROSS negligence at worst. We should error on the side of caution and science, not taking advice from politicians. Because if there is anything we know, its that they lie and that applies to both parties.

2022-06-05Absolutely awesome! We used Jones Bones food truck yesterday for my siblings graduation party and I highly recommend if you’re in the market for booking a food truck for an event. From the booking, to the food tasting, dealing with Bryan beforehand and then during the event was a breeze. Super nice and his staff is amazing as well. Shout to Jake who was on the food truck with him yesterday and the two of them did fabulous. Large portions and great BBQ and plenty of options to choose from. Would definitely use again! Thanks guys!

2022-07-07If I could eat this place every day, I would. Their food truck comes to our office all the time, the food is AMAZING. The portions are big and the prices are very reasonable. The pulled pork has so much flavor and is as tender as butter. They offer loaded fries which is a mound of handcut fries, topped with a mound of pulled pork, some BBQ sauce, and cheese. MY GAWD they are amazing. The food also comes out super fast and the people working are always very friendly. If you see this truck or are in Grafton by their restaurant you MUST visit. Its well worth any drive! Yum yum yum!

2022-03-10I had a sample of burnt ends, sliced brisket, rib, and chicken wings and took 2 sloppy top potatoes to go. I have to say, Im impressed and I highly recommend! The owner Bryan goes above and beyond to satisfy his customers. Also got a tour of the food trucks, smokers and kitchen. What a hidden gem!

2022-05-03Wow what a restaurant! The inside is small but it seemed like most orders were to go. Hubby and I went to eat in on Saturday and we were not disappointed! Portions were absolutely HUGE and everything was delicious! The young lady who worked the front end was extremely friendly and helped us decide on our meal seeing as it was our first visit in. Hearing it was our first time in the kitchen bought out a sample of their burnt ends and now hubby is looking to come back this next Saturday for them specifically lol. What a lovely and inviting establishment, our new favorite 😍 Thank you Jones BBQ and Grub you will most definitely be seeing us again.

2022-05-09Secured the food truck for a 50th birthday party and it was A HIT! The food was amazing - I did not have to worry about clean up or dishes. He provided great portions and variety of foods to the guests and even tailored to their needs. I would absolutely recommend if you are hosting a large group of people - everyone loved the food and had a terrific time - thank you!!

2022-06-23The only problem with this place is that it isn’t closer to my house!! But when I’m in the area, there’s only one place I’m stopping for lunch. High quality BBQ, friendly staff, fast service with a price that can’t be beat.

2020-02-19Wife and I have heard good reviews from friends about Jones Bones. Finally stopped in and had a late lunch, early dinner. Wife ordered the mac & que sandwich (grilled cheese add mac & cheese & pulled pork or bacon... she ordered the pork) came with a side, she paid additional to get her fresh cut fries loaded with bacon & cheese. She is particular about her bread getting soggy, so they accommodated that by heavily toasting both sides of the texas toast. Her sandwich was amazing! She gave me a couple bites and I agree! She said she would probably order the mac & que bowl next time, but after tasting the buttery, toasted texas toast that adds just a little crispness to it, she said nope, I will get this every time. I ordered the sampler, which comes with 2 bones, 4oz pulled pork, a side (I chose mac & cheese) & cole slaw. I overheard another customer ask if the ribs were fall off the bone or pull off the bones. The owner stated that they were pull off. I have to agree, that is exactly the way they are. Meat is tender for sure, but holds to the bone lightly. Personally I enjoy fall off the bone better, but I cannot complain. The pulled pork is amazing! Mac & cheese is very good. Wife ate the cole salw and said it was great also. My loaded fries were on point! I would have preferred the shredded cheese to be a little more melted on top, more for appearance, but the flavor is phenomenal. We will certainly be back to try other menu items, at least I will be (the wife finds something she enjoys and then rarely changes off that!) If you check out my pics, dont mind the pepper on the mac & cheese, I am a pepper freak!

2022-05-26Called the restaurant to place a pickup order and the girl that just answered the phone, then put me on hold without telling me, then she finally answered with an attitude. I had never ordered here before so I wasnt sure about the menu, but I ordered a slab of ribs she then replied what side ? I said I didnt know they came with a side she actually SCOFFED at me on the phone and said Ugh YEAH they come with a side ! Very rude and snarky. That experience alone is enough to deter me from ordering again.
