Our dryer quit working and my husband tore it apart trying to fix the problem himself. (Which was a mistake because he doesn’t have the time). He finally called around and everyone was booked out pretty far! Johnson’s appliance came out in less than a week and fixed the problem within 45min! Runs perfectly now! Thanks so much!
I was slightly hesitant to call them based on some negative reviews but am so glad that I have them the benefit of the doubt!!!They were able to come out quickly to fix a problem with our front loading washer. Jeremy arrived right in the time frame given and even had the part in his van to fix it that day! As a mom with two small (and very messy) children, it was a lifesaver! The price was also very reasonable and they didnt try to sell me anything that we didnt need.Overall my experience was wonderful and showed me that they are very professional, knowledgeable, honest, quick and friendly.I would absolutely recommend them to anyone in the area and will be sure to use them again for any future repairs to our appliances!
Called regarding my washer and set up an appointment. Did not show or call me during the appointment window. I had to call them. Tech finally arrived and inspected the washer. He told me what the problem was but said that GE no longer makes parts for my 5 year old washer. He left after leaving a huge puddle in my floor because he chose to remove the drain hose from the drain. After I considered my options, I called GE for help to see if they would suggest. Wouldnt you know it, the still sell the part. GE agreed to ship me the part. I called Johnson back and told them I have the part en route. I wanted them to do the install since I had paid them $89 and they had told me that amount would go toward the labor to fix the problem. It was less than 1 week since they came out, but now they want me to pay another $89 and labor! I questioned this and the receptionist said ahe would touch base with the tech and call me back. Its been over a week since my call to them and I am still waiting for that call back. The icing on rhe cake... I attempted to gather all the parts to see how difficult it would be to install. And wouldnt you know it, I have no clue what he did with the screws to the washer. They are just MIA now. This company screwed me bad!
If I could rate them zero stars I would. Had an appointment scheduled between 10-12pm. No one showed. I called and the receptionist said she would get ahold of the service truck to see how far out they would be and call me right back. I havent gotten a call back. And still no one has showed up!!! No one even called to let me know they would be late. The last time they came out to the house they werent very friendly either. Got rid of one stove.. And gave me another just for that one to go bad six months later!!!
02/04/19 Called early Friday morning for a washer repair (not spinning) informed the earliest I can get it fixed is Monday between 2pm-4pm which was fine. Monday comes...2pm-4pm goes by...No call to let me know he would be late, I had to call just to find out what was going on.. Guy finally shows up (late) and brings in *Nothing* with him.. Comes back up stairs and tells me he can fix it but it will have to be tomorrow . . . he didnt have the part for my washer. (They take the brand and model number when you call to prevent that). It was more and obviously he was ready to get to the office and clock out. Before he left I was gives a total for the repair for the following day, which was still full price for being late, wasting my afternoon, and now wasting a 2nd day. Late, no call to let me know when to expect him & not having the proper parts shows just how unprofessional of a company this really is. . . call just about any other repair company if you can, it will save you time, and the headache this company comes with!
Scheduled 4 days out for a 10-11 appointment with 1/2 hour call ahead. Finally get call at 11 after calling the office 3 times, mechanic was lost as i told them he would be if he didnt call ahead. Proceeded to explain to him that is why they were supposed to call ahead. He then drove by my house and turned up the road and left. After several calls to the office he said he wasnt coming. Wasted day off work and lost food in freezer with not a care in the world to the people that run the place. I would not use them or by anything from them. I would rather waste a trip to columbus to get parts or call somebody else. Horrible customer service
Had an appointment between 12-1 today 11/18/16. The guy called at 12:39 and said he would be there in 20-30 minutes. He never showed up so I called him at 1:19, no answer. Then, I called the shop at 1:27, the gal said she would call to see what was going on. No phone call back by 1:49, so I called them back. She said that she had texted and left him a voicemail and he hadnt called back. She then finally called back at 1:59 stating that she still hadnt gotten ahold of him yet. Finally at 2:19 she got ahold of him but he didnt give her an answer as to why he wasnt there yet. She asked if I would be OK if they came at 3:30. I told her no that the person I had there, ALL DAY, had to leave and I didnt get off till 4. She apologized but not ONE time did she offer any sort of discount or make the offer to come later AFTER I told her I would be home till after 4. ****NEVER EVER USE THEM, PERIOD*****
Called Johnson Appliance at 9:30 am and ladywas very professional and the service tech came on time and did a very professional job on my washer my family and friends we all have used Johnsons for years and never had a problem or issue with thier repairs or sales i would refer them to anyone who needs appliances or repair on thier appliances call Johnson appliance newark is lucky to have a local repair place for appliaces where i live there isnt anyone who does that in our area thats why we always use Johnson we can always rely on them for my familys repairs on all our appliances so if u need a repair or would need an appliance call Johnson Appliance

2022-01-26I cant say enough about the service I received from Johnson Appliance. We just moved and the dishwasher was not working. I was going to buy a new one when a friend told me to call Johnson Appliance. Jeremy came over and had it working within the hour and the price was extremely fair.

2021-06-22I needed a part repaired in my freezer. When they came for a diagnosis before, they were great. Today, they were over 2 hours late because the tech got hung up on a job. I get that happens and they run in to unexpected problems. However, a courtesy call would have been fantastic to keep us aware of whats happening. When the tech called, already over 2 hours late, he said he would be there in 20-30 mins. 45 mins later he arrived. I have no problem using them again, just keep customers apprised of why you are late is all.

2019-11-30I was looking for an inexpensive washer and dryer set and was having a hard time finding anything decent. A friend suggested I go to Johnson’s; I’m so glad I did! I was able to find what I needed within my budget. The customer service was superior. They made special arrangements to deliver my appliances and when my work schedule changed at the last minute and I picked them up, they refunded the delivery charge without my saying anything. I’m now a loyal customer and won’t go anywhere else.

2021-04-12Stay away from this place!!!! Called on a Thur. morning and they set up an appointment for Monday afternoon. Told them I would not be available before 4:00 because I would be at work. They sent me two notices to confirm my appointment which I did confirm. Took off work early to be here in time but came home to a message saying they wanted to come at 2:00 instead. It was already 3:30. When I called, the guy said they would come on Wednesday. Well that didnt work for me but I said I would make it work but I wasnt happy as it was a very busy week @ wor . He said he wouldnt come because he didnt like my attitude. I believe in supporting small businesses but find it frustrating that they often dont realize that homeowners have their own commitments & schedules. I dont have the luxury of being home all day waiting for a repair person. If youre going to have a business commit to the appointment you made. Also, get used to customers being irate when you dont show up when you said you would. Very immature and unprofessional.

2020-12-28We had Johnsons appliance repair come in to repair our Whirlpool gas oven, the tech did some diagnostics and said it was the main board, we waited almost a month for the part, when it was installed the tech said we were all set - first time we tried to use it it failed just as before. Cost us $325.00 to find out it was the wrong fix. Contacted them via phone and email - no response at all - do not pay these folks until the device is proven to be working correctly, ps he also took what was supposed to be the defective part for a rebate for them. Very disappointing - they did contact us and gave a full refund.
