They cannot make a sunny side up egg if their life depended on it. Ive ordered them the last two times and they were completely overcooked both times. Sunny side up means a runny yolk! NOT FULLY COOKED THROUGH! SO DISAPPOINTING

Great! Food always, its best to order ahead, that way u can avoid running into others, not very much social distance when ordering in person to take out, dining in still seems to close in seating, dont see a difference in the seating arrangement here, its the same as before the pandemic. Myself and my husband order ahead, was just as good.
Since January 20th I have been ordering from them almost every morning , because I work right next door at the salon. I usually order home fries, 3 bacon and the free grits, I also order a couple cheese burgers. Not to mention I tip those workers. Today i placed my order on the phone which I normally do anyway. Once I went to pick up my order and pay for my order, before giving the old lady my cash app Cardi checked my balance and it said $14. She took my cash app Visa card and had it for about 4 minutes and I asked her what’s going on. She then said that I owe her $5.34, so I looked at my cash app balance and it said I have $9, I showed her and she was shrugged her shoulders and said that the transaction didn’t go through. Once she showed me her negative vibe toward me as a valued customer(because she has seen me in there at least 3 times) I told her she can have the food back and refund me my money. then she wants to tell me the money will go back on your card 7-10 business days. Which is bizarre because if she refunded it back on my cash app card everybody knows that the funds are back immediately on “Cash App Visa” I showed her that she took $5.33 off my card and I want my money, and you are not about to steal $5.33 from me. All the white Co workers were being rude and disrespectful to me. I mean all over $5.33, they took my money but didn’t want to refund me my money and tried to make it seem like I was the problem. Once I said I’m not leaving until I get my $5.33. Because they not about to steal money from me, I don’t care if it’s $2.Then the lady gave me a receipt that said void transaction. Then I looked at my cash app and my balance showed $14 again. Yea I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant to anyone they white ppl rude and disrespectful towards me because I’m black and we are the ones keeping their business open.
Food was ok, the place could use some updating and no dining/bathroom access.So if you order food there...Prepare to eat with dirty hands.
Food can be okay gyros are good breakfast is okay but the service is lousy you call the place of order they dont answer the phone thats my problem.

The menus on Google here say the jumbo is $9.50 and the titan was 11.50, now they are $15 & $18. Thats an insane amount for one sandwich and a massive difference from the advertised price.
My fiance and I eat here all the time. He ate here when he was younger. The breakfast food is incredible. I order something different everyone and have not been disappointed. The corn beef sandwich is delicious. They have a home kitchen cooking vibe. The pancakes are huge and if you like home fries, theres has to be my favorite around! Bacon and sausage were perfectly cooked. The eggs too. Seriously try this place!!I have to add Dothan the chicken Philly is incredible now that Ive tried it!

Okay to place a small however each and every time theyve done the best they can to make sure they were in and out of there as fast as possible. However the food is always really good even though theyre moving pretty quickly.My friends and family keep going back over and over and over again because how good the food is and how nice the environment is.Keep up the good work!
The cook was unprofessional . The floors were filthy. I reluctantly ask for home fries crispy. & French toast. I was totally disrespected.... They( staff)appeared angry to be at work... Smh

Food was mediocre at best. Polish boy combo didnt come with fries like the rest of the combos so I had to pay extra for the fries. Floors needs to be mopped. When I sat down to wait for my shoes kept sticking to the floor. I moved to another table and the same thing kept happening.
I ordered a Reuben and there was no sauerkraut or 1000 island sauce the sandwich was dry as hell and the hard and dry they gave me old meat if you dont wanna do business right then close up
Service was friendly but not very organized. Wait time was incredibly long and the over all quality of the food was ok. Not bad in any way, but nothing that blew me away either.

Although we were there on the 4th 15 minutes before closing, they still cooked up some of the best gyros Ive ever had. We will definitely be back their menu is huge. They also carry Tahitian treat by the 20oz.

Old school gyro joint. The gyros are very good. I got the titan gyro with fries. The meat is cooked right crispy ends and they make it the original way. Cucumber sauce, tomatoes, onions.Ive been looking for a good gyro in Cleveland and this one is up there with the best I have had.I love gyros = Johns best gyros
The minority waitress is always friendly!! BUT the young guy tried to serve me burnt food under other food and expected me not to notice!!! Some of the cooks take advantage of people who do t pay attention and try to feed us slop like we are beneath them!!! Unacceptable
The gyro meat is well seasoned. Some places are a little heavy on the salt, and a bit greasy, not the case at Johns Best Gyros. I thought the meat was nicely savory, and about as salty as you might expect, but that cuts well with the lettuce, tomato, onions, and tzatziki sauce. The fries are fresh cut and fried to a dark-golden brown, and the box was presented to me for inspection before I took it to-go. Id try this place again.
I have been going to this place for breakfast food ever since I’ve moved to Bedford they are always good to me , very good food everything is always good I love love love this place fav spot in Bedford to get food on a late night actually (the best one ) really

Food is Great, except for that particular employee woman (working 11-29-2017, yeah!! you!!) who looked like she had bad cold and all i said to her was Aw, u look sick, get well soon. She was like You think so?? in a very rude you. So, i want to say, I hope you die this winter. Apart from that, everyone and everything is good about here, Cheers!!
Everyone is so nice. Clean dining room. All food is prepared in house. Quality meats. I eat there often . CrAve their gyros. They said the isaziki cucumber sauce is made in house also. Awesome!

Service has fell way off. Twice in the last week Ive stopped for breakfast and both times my order was just put on the table. The waitress never once came back to check if I needed anything..like coffee.

2022-06-05Excellent! The jumbo traditional gyro is always hot with plenty of meat and toppings! Love that they serve it “open face” so you can either turn it into a wrap or eat it with a fork and knife. I’ve tried other local places and this is definitely my go-to place👍

2022-03-14I have no idea who the new lady you guys have at the front desk but shes extremely rude. I have been coming there for years. I would not recommend this place to anyone. She literally hung up on me twice and I come there to often to be treated like this. Rude for no reason at all

2022-01-22Its really hit or miss. Like last night my gyro meat for a 15.99 gyro was cold and had to be reheated at home. I live literally 3 mins away and for the cost I would like to have my food ready to eat.

2021-06-17I’ve probably eaten some of the best gyros in the country in Tarpon Springs, Florida. These are NOT those gyros! John obviously has not been selling many gyros because the meat had dried out on the spit and was dry and crusty on one side. I don’t know what kind of meat he uses but it did not taste like veal. This tasted like no gyro I’ve ever had. I couldn’t even finish mine. The health rating in the shop was 97 but the place looked nasty. The door was dirty. It was just a very disappointing experience considering the wonderful rating this place received. Beware, if you’re looking for and “authentic” gyro…this is NOT the place!!!!
