JOANN Fabric and Crafts in other cities:
I ordered a stocking holder online and wasn’t sure which store to pick it up. I had a receipt but that’s all. Beth helped me look for my order but it wasn’t there. She walked to the holiday aisle with me following to hunt for it. We found it! Only one left! Amazing customer service!!
I will not go back into this Joann Fabric at all. The Store was set up nice but boy the staff was so rude. And the person cutting the fabric needs to be taught how to cut fabric. And I was going to get a couple Care bear quilt panels that was on sale and they rang up the full price I let them know that they was on sale for $9.74 and the manager was so rude and said even if they say on sale doesnt mean that they are. Watch closely when you checkout. They dont deserve the 1 star they need 0 stars
This place is the cheapest poorest service JoAnn I ever been. All my 1 yard cut fabrics are half inch shorter even after I told the lady who cut the fabric to make sure its full yard as last 2 time I went there I had this problem. I went this place 3 times and all 3 times same problem! It really sucks and dont want to drive there to get exchange as its lot farther from my house.I would give zero star if I could. Ugh.
I had bought a wreath from this store and had to return it because the battery pack was broken. I called the store prior to going back because I was going to purchase it online at that sale price if they didn’t have it in the store. The inventory said that there were 4 wreaths at the Reynoldsburg location. I called the Reynoldsburg store and asked the girl who answered the phone if she could go and physically tell me if the wreaths were in the store. She asked me what the item number was and I told her that the inventory states you have 4 left. She took the item number and then she placed me on about a 5 min hold. She then came back and said we have 4 but you can’t come get one because we’re about to close. The next morning I went to the store to get the wreath. I looked all over for one and nothing was there though the inventory was still stating that they had 4. At this moment I realized that the girl on the phone last night told a blatant lie about going to check on the wreaths. She never checked at all, and because of her I wasn’t able to get the wreath for the sale price. If she wouldn’t have lied about merchandise that wasn’t there I could have went on and just ordered a new one online while it was on sale. The store manager stated that he was sorry and that he couldn’t do anything to get me the wreath at the sale price since the sale had ended yesterday. I was livid, as I feel as if he could have done more. Your inventory isn’t correct and you have employees who would rather lie to a customer instead of engaging in good customer service? As a manager you should have made this situation right. Not a great customer service experience at all.
Mushroom jewelry on sale, peg holders fr a quilt stand, and fun cupcakes holders - yep, had so much fun buying supplies at great prices to finish off projects and tantalize the eyes with fun wraps for cupcakes and muffins. Good time, great prices, and the perfect selection for my needs!!!
The sales associate Danielle was absolutely amazing. She helped me find everything on my list and assisted me to register for a quick check out. Everyone was wearing mask and taking all steps to ensure we were safe from Covid19. This was my first time shopping in Joannes and because of the her I will definitely be back.
I have nothing against this particular store-- the employees are good. But JoAnns prices are absurdly high. A pack of markers that cost $11 at Blick Art Supplies cost $27 here. They were happy to price match, but in the future Id rather support small businesses that are transparent with their prices. Ill return here when I need fabric, though.
Joanns has a lot of great coupons and can save some serious money that way. They have nice and helpful people too. Joanns is really the only craft store that I spend most of my paycheck. I buy multiple times a month from there. Get their app and you get great coupons plus in your email you can get separate coupons. I just recently got a 60% off coupon which my $50 item to a $20 item. Love them!!!
I placed an order online after leaving the store 4/23/20 because I told my fiancé about some cute decor I saw but didn’t want to go back and stand in line the same day. I found everything I was looking for, added my coupon paid and went about my day... its now 4/28 and I still have not received an email, text, call nothing saying my order was ready and when I call the line just rings busy. The store is a little out of the way for me so I don’t want to drive up and wait in line just to be told it isn’t ready.UPDATE: after 11 days I got an email saying my order was cancelled due to selling out of the items I ordered!
Very nice cashiers up front. They had one item I was looking for but didnt have any table top easels which was the main reason I went. The massive amount of craft items was amazing. I could have spent hours looking 🙂. Wish the classes were cheaper Id sign up for several if they were lol.
Always such a good experience here. The staff is friendly and always willing to help and answer questions. Sometimes theyre pretty busy, but they do theyre best to keep lines moving quickly. Huge selections across the board, especially fabrics. Can get a bit pricey but they regularly have sales and send out good coupons so wait for those if possible.
There is a wide variety of crafting supplies here and a nice classroom area. Prices are good and they do match competitor coupons. My only criticism is checkout. They funnel you through a n area and you wait for the next cashier. Most often there is a max of two people checking out.
The check out line can get extremely long. A better job needs to be done getting cashiers to the front of the store to clear the line when it backs up. The store itself is a bit dim. It needs a facelift. Everything is a bit more battered and worn than you would like to see.
This is my favorite JoAnn location. Theyve got great selection, are accessible, and its a large, clean, open place. Im especially happy with all the yarn and crochet supplies they have.If you sign up for their emails, youll also get some great coupons. Otherwise they frequently have great sales, especially on more seasonal items (for example, I just got an adorable butterfly and flowers wreath thats normally $50 for $20).As an addition - aside from some items being too high up for those in chairs, its wheelchair accessible here. There are a few handicapped spaces in front of the store, theres a curb cut in front of the door and aisles are all wide enough. From my experience, staff is friendly and helpful and can help with the items higher on the shelf when needed.
Perfect place for any of your crafting needs. Not too overpriced when it comes to materials and there are ALWAYS sales. Just by downloading the app and signing up for their email program, youll find a 40% off total purchase coupon. Other coupons include: 60% one item, up to 70% off fabrics (if the time is right), and BOGO deals.Every time I have visited, they are always well stocked and I have never encountered a time where they have not been stocked for the items I need. Its a DIY crafters heaven. Walking in without an objective in mind is dangerous due to the fact that the store is so massive with ample amounts of different crafts. The only complaint I have is the checkout line. If there are several customers ahead, say 3 or 4, it takes a good ten minutes to get through the line. The staff is AWESOME. Always willing to help you find whatever it might be that you need, because like I said, the store is massive and difficult to navigate for a first visit.
This is my favorite craft store. Its big and has a lot of different items in it, and even more so I think the associates are great. I took a lot of classes here before and learned a lot of things from the instructors. Honestly, this is my go-to store for anything I need.
The store is pretty well organized and they always have some kind of special going on to help you save money.I appreciate their military and Armed Forces discountsOnly drawback is 80% or more of the products that they carry are made in China so I just have a core feeling that we dont support our own country enough here in the United States.
They were very slow. The woman that was waiting on me at the cutting table had to reboot her scan gun twice. Then she recorded that I bought a yard when I only got a half yard on 2pieces of fabric. I only had 3 pieces to cut. Then the girl at the register argued with me about it. Soooo I just paid it and then called the manager. So frustrating!!
Last time I was in the store I had to wait outside to get in (social distancing). As I was waiting I noticed a woman at a register for the entire 20 minutes I waited to get in. The cashier kept canceling (I assume) and re-ringing everything up. I could see her face and her frustration. I was in the store about 15 minutes, which included the 6 waiting in line. That woman just left that register as I got up to pay - and I got him too. And he ended up ringing/canceling/and ringing up my order too. I knew if I had a 20% coupon and $5.00 gift certificate, my purchase was total $18.73 before and $14 (add tax) after that something isnt right. I didnt want to make other people wait even longer so I went home and checked the receipt to see the 20% wasnt taken off. I contacted customer service that as of 3 weeks later has not responded.
I had a great experience today. My first trip in to JoAnns and I thought I would run in for 1 yard of fabric and about 12 yards of fabric later my mind was blown at all of the sale prices, the huge selection of amazing prints, my disappointment with what I couldnt find and the best customer service at the fabric counter from a very kind, knowledgeable woman by the name of Dawn. The only downfall of my experience was that there was a very long line and only one person was working check out and also handling the customer returns.Either way, I will be back for sure. Dawn made up for any lack in service and there are so many prints still yet to get.
I placed my order for store pick up on Wed. 4/22. It is Thurs. 4/23 and I have not recieved an email, call, text, message in a bottle, nothing! I have called at least 20 times. The number rung on the first call, but every call after have run busy. I am not happy. I at least deserve an update on my order.
Love Jo-Ann Fabric! They always have the best sales, the best deals, the best coupons. They definitely have the best coupon policy of any of the other arts and crafts stores around allowing you to stack coupons and taking competitor coupons. Although arts and craft stores tend to be rather expensive I never walk out of Joann feeling like I have spent too much money or been overcharged. When I have the time and opportunity I will go to Joann rather than the other two major arts and crafts stores that are conveniently close because they just seem to have the best selections pretty much everything. I give it it 5 Stars.
They dont have a huge selction on artists or craft paints at all.. Maybe its not their specialty since they are considered a fabric store. But they have a way selection online or so it seems. They are a bit pricier than other craft stores as well but they give some good deals.
Floor worker man rude. Was irritated and cranky that i asked where the buttons were! Girl at sewing counter super kind and helpful and took me to CORRECT buttons and helped me look until we found them. Cashiers slow and long wait. Store has awesome stuff, just need to get friendly and knowledgeable employees. One girl out of store being kind and helpful out of 30 makes a crappy experience.
This is the largest and most plentiful Joanns I have ever been to. From marine grade vinyl to silk, and largest variety of character prints, to painting and wedding supplies, this place is AWESOME. I always check out the clearance aisle for special finds. Worth the hour drive for me.
I placed an order on line for curb side pickup with text updating. Never received a text update but did received email updates (2) both stating my order was delayed. I NEVER received a notice my order was ready for pick up but received a notice my order was cancelled. I wrote an email to Joanns asking why and have never heard back.
I placed an online store pickup order on April 29 and just got my pickup notification email (May 6). This location is lacking effective customer service and the delay is unacceptable. I have not had this issue at any other locations with store pickup and there is no excuse. Pandemic or not, I will NEVER shop this location!
A pretty good selection of general/popular crafts. I always try to buy my 3 and 5 year olds a gift or two for Christmas here because they tend to have fun, different toys then say meijer or Walmart.. The employees were friendly and helped me choose a gift for my 5 yr old.
Seconds after walking in the door there was an employee willing to drop what she was doing and help me find my item. She even went out of her way to find something I was looking for that I had very vague idea about. All in all it was a quick visit and I left with exactly what I needed.
This place is a crafters dream. I love the idea of crafting but not so much the doing. I was in search of fabric for a shower curtain. As usual I thought of what I wanted and could not find it premade. I didnt purchase anything yet but I will be back. Found a few options that will work.Side note....we were there near closing on a Friday night and no staff spoke to us but 3 different people gave us looks like leave already. I get it. Glad I didnt have my heart set on buying tho. I would have been afraid to ask to check out at 10 till 9.
Nobody ever pays attention to customer needs here. I must of did a couple full laps looking for a certain kind of glue. When u see a customer making a circle a few times. . its time to ask what they are looking for. Big props tho to the guy that teaches ur class there. He was the only one that asked if i needed anything but he didnt know where the glue was
Jo-Anns Fabric is a wonderful place where you can find all the types of arts and crafts whatever your heart desires from canvases to knitting crochet hot glue guns home decor they have everything you would need to decorate any location you want. And they also have great clearance section.
I waited at the register for 10 minutes before a manager who ended up being the woman chatting at the register across the way even attempted to come help the cashier with the coupon issue that was occurring. Then she did very little to solve the problem and I was so unhappy with how i was treated that I left without even buying what I had at the register. Imagine how terrible of a manger you have to be for a customer to leave when theyre already at the register. Great job Renee, ill put my debit card right back in my wallet.
Not only was no flowers to choose from the store was a mess!! When we got to the register the cashier ask, Did you find everything ok? We said, No and she didnt respond AT ALL!! She didnt even ask if she could help us find anything! Why bother asking if she really didnt care!?
I have been in this store many times and while there is a lot in the store, it is definitely a find it yourself place. Not many employees around, and almost always a long wait to check out. This afternoon I called three times to see if an item was in stock. The first and second time I called I was put on hold for about 7-10 minutes each time. The third time I called I was also put on hold, and after about 10 seconds I was mysteriously disconnected. Not good customer service.
They have a great selection of items, however the prices are a little bit higher on certain things. I needed a foam ball for a solar system project for my daughter. It was $17.00 at Jo-Ann. Found the same ball at Walmart for $6.00 in the craft section. Also when I was checking out the very nice cashier told me I could find a coupon on the website to use at that moment so I could save a little, however I couldnt get an internet connection. I thought she would have one to scan, but they didnt offer. Why mention an online coupon if you dont have one in the store to scan? The employees are helpful most of the time and they have a wonderful selection of fabrics.
Normally I have a great experience but today one of the ladies at the cutting counter complained about people who didnt like long waits in line. She must work at another job in pharmacy because she said a whole long spill about people there also. I wanted to tell her so bad to shut up and cut my stuff but I just let it go because I was sick and just had surgery. But if I was well I would have let her have it!
Corporate never listens. Some people are smell sensitive and some are allergic to those awful cinnamon pine cones that they stockpile throughout the store and at the doors. Gag. They are doing it earlier in the season every year it seems. Oh well, more Hobby Lobby time.
I love Joanns, but I dont love that they dont carry different sports teams fabrics. The majority are Ohio teams which I love, but I have family members in other states I would love to craft for. And yes you can go online, but you have to buy atleast 2 yds, which is hardly ever needed, the shipping is ridiculous, and they are hardly in stock. It would be awesome if the reynoldsburg location would start carrying a larger selection of sports teams outside of Ohio.
Joann Fabrics has something for every creative person. Items for baking, crochet & knitting, art, stamping, crafting, sewing, quilting, ribbons, buttons, beads, notions, decorating, albums & art projects. They have crafts & supplies for children. Learn a new skill in one of their classes. Make a useful or meaningful gift or get one of your framed.
Abby was very helpful when I checked out. I am from out of state and even though I have plenty of yarn at home, I wanted to buy some for a couple of projects while Im here. My total came to over $80 but Abby helped me utilize my coupons and saved me almost 1/2. Made my day!
I have learned how to crochet and I am very happy that I have. Theres always going to be someone who judges a man for learning how to, but the same people who were quick to judge, were quick to notice the deep dark purple scarf around my neck. Where did I get it... I made it! I will be back for yarn for sure. I plan to get better and better at this. I am thankful that I was humble enough to learn something new that I think will stay with me for the rest of my life. Never buying a scarf from a store again. If you dont know how to HD stitch, I seriously recommend you learn.
I had several prints framed at the store, which were very expensive to frame. Unknown to me until they (4 prints) dislodged 1-3 months after being framed, I notice these were framed with 2-sided tape in the middle of these valuable prints, contrary to the process explained to me or used by other framing professionals. These prints not framed by professionals who knew how to care for more valuable items. Nonetheless, they certainly should not be using 2-sided tape on any framing project and not caring the utmost for others valuables. I was very dissappointed. I have since used another professional framing business, which by the way, was cheaper and they did a much better job without damaging the print.
I had been looking online for leather and tools to wrap A WALKING STICK. I found prices as high as $52 for a spool of leather. Joann advertised leather crafts so I decided to check it out. I found exactly what I was looking for and a spool of Latigo Lace 1/8 x 60 for $7.49! I purchased several different colors and sizes. I shop there often for fabrics, drawing supplies and much more.
Just moved to the area and have been to this Jo-Anns twice... There is a crazy lady who ruined both of my visits by making me extremely uncomfortable by asking me impertinent personal questions. I left both times without buying anything simply because I was running away from this crazy lady. From now on I will drive to the Morse Rd location.

2022-03-13As a fabric store, the lighting should be a more natural light so that customers will see the true colors of the fabrics they are buying. Also, because Joann fabrics is pretty much one of the very few fabric stores around, they should have more types of fabric and better quality fabrics for clothing. Ive been shopping at Joanns for years but I used to get all my fabrics at the garment district in NYC so Im used to more variety and better quality.

2021-12-01Stopped by to get fabric for a base that we made that has trees for Xmas. They didnt have exactly what we wanted in cotton, but we did find something really pretty. They have a great selection and great prices. They are having fantastic sales on decorations of all kinds. We.could not figure out the mushroom theme for Christmas on some things. We thought that was strange. We also bought a Christmas dog collar that was 60% off.

2021-12-13Always enjoy a trip to Jo Anns. My friend had lots of material the needed measured and cut. The line was not too long. The lady took care of her and we were on our way to visit other departments of the store. We went during Black Friday. The sales were fantastic. I think she saved more than she spent!

2022-03-31Joann fabric is a great place has a lot of fabric sewing crafting ideas some places to learn how to sew I like the whole overall look it’s a bit pricey although they do have nice coupons that you can use multiple coupons for but the online app when you buy there you can only use one coupon you can use multiple
