Replaced old cast iron sewer lines with plastic. Neat clean really looks great. Good clean-up friendly and very experienced personnel. Will definitely use this company again when we need a plumber!
Day before Easter and the hot water tank cracks. JEM Plumbling, Jeremy and Will, worked into the evening to replace the old with a tankless water heater. Team was prompt (under 90 minutes from call to knock on the door), friendly (let me ask questions about code, tips and tricks on soldering, copper tubing lesson- m vs. l) and tidy. Of course it was not the Easter present i was looking for, but the hot shower felt really nice! Thanks

It’s a dire situation when you are dependent on the plumber to restore the broken water line on a single digit weather. I was desperate last night when I had to turn the water off the main pipe. As I was googling I came upon JEM, read the rave reviews and decided to try them out.When I called this morning a little after 7, I was greeted by a courteous voice (who turned out to be the owner, Jeremy). He told me they opened at 7:30 and would have the receptionist call me to set up an appointment. Exactly at 7:30 she called and set me up to have John come out at 8:30.John did a great job fixing the pipe within an hour. He cleaned up the mess which I so appreciate as I’m a neat freak. He also looked at my kitchen faucet that needed tightening without charging me.JEM has earned my trust. They are honest, courteous, professional, and their pricing is fair. It gave me a peace of mind to have a plumber that I can depend on for any future needs. I highly recommended them!

What a treasure we have here in Uniontown with JEM Plumbing. I am so happy my husband found JEM Plumbing 2 years ago for our shower repair. Called out to repair hot water tank not heating up and leaking. Tech ended up replacing both elements, and T&P Valve. Less than a month later, called again because it was still leaking. This time was told I needed a new expansion tank. Got a bill for $272 for the first visit and $377 for the expansion tank. For that much money, I could have got a new tank! Find a different company that is not going to rip you off.
Ryan from JEM plumbing came out to replace the internals of our toilet. It was short notice but JEM worked me into their schedule. While he was here Ryan also replaced an old valve that was causing a slow leak near the dishwasher. Excellent service!I also recommended JEM to my nephew who recently bought a house that unknowingly had a bad water heater. JEM cost less money than Home Depot, and my nephew had nothing but good things to say about the install and professionalism as well.Will continue to use JEM for whatever plumbing related needs I have as well as recommend them to family and friends!
Cant thank them enough for an awesome job!!! They ended up taking out all the cast iron pipe that was left in our house from the basement to the roof. Did become a 2 day job but, came in $300 under the proposed low end of the estimate. Neatly removed drywall and plaster and cleaned up the work areas. All employees were courteous. Definitely, will keep their number in my contacts for any future plumbing issues.
JEM Plumbing came to my house twice. They unclogged my kitchen sink and put a new pipe into the main drain. Ryan,Eaton and Jeremy did a wonderful job. It was suggested as a maintenance precaution that the main drain should be cleaned out. They came and did that plus cleaned out the shower drain and the bathroom sink drain, plus cleaned out the other main drain., Steve and Eaton performed this job and did a wonderful job. Their clean up each time was excellent. I would recommend this company to anyone with plumbing problems!
We had a major clog when we dumped rice in the garbage disposal. The disposal was clean, the P trap was clean, but the water wouldnt drain. We called JEM and they sent out DJ to fix out problem. DJ was very professional and did a great job. He was also very personable. It was a bad clog, and the drain had some really funky angles, but he kept at it until the drain was flowing again. No one could have done better, and the price was very reasonable. No complaints at all. We will definitely call JEM again when we need a plumber. Definitely first class. Thanks!
I called JEM Plumbing because my sump pump was running constantly for over 24 hours. Even though the cradle would barely have any water in it, the pump was constantly pushing water out, meaning my float had gone bad. JEM sent someone out within 2 days to examine the problem (I called at the end of the week, and it was not an emergency, so no one needed to rush out). Steve was the technician who came out and performed the work. Not only was he very professional and took all of the necessary Covid precautions, he took the time to show and explain to me everything that he repaired. In addition to replacing the float, he found the check valve had a hole in it and replaced that, drilled a new weeping hole in the pipe (the other weeping hole was too high up on the pipe), and did some other minor repair on the system. The pump now kicks on only when the cradle is full, and is much quieter than before. I was very impressed with Steve and his knowledge and professionalism.I have used JEM Plumbing 4 times now over the past few years: 2 times to replace a sump pump (our ground water has a lot of calcium in it, meaning sump pumps dont last as long for us), once to replace my (very old) garbage disposal, and now this sump pump repair. I will not hesitate to use them again in the future, or recommend them to others. Oh, and Angie in the office is great, too! She was very professional, and was able to call and text me back with details about this service call, as well as some helpful hints to try before the service call so that the sump pump would not burn up before Steve arrived. An overall great experience.

I had two different issues, the first of which was a clogged shower drain. The persistence of Tyler and Steve was impressive. They were fixed on solving our problem and helping us avoid a costly rip and replace. They not only fixed the issue but also performed some minor tweaks to ensure it didn’t happen again. Well done Gents! A few days later a leak in the same shower pipes were leaking behind the wall. Had to turn off the water supply to the entire house. Angie, scheduling, realized our main supply was going to be down until it was fixed, raced into action and within 10 minutes text me stating she’d have a technician to us in short order. Steve had us ack up and running swimmingly in a couple hours. Steve, Tyler and Angie were super understanding, responsive, professional and just plain nice people. Jeremy - Thank you for rearranging your schedule to have our tankless water heater installed when our old tank failed the day after Christmas. Your team worked hard and got us up and running in one day. The workmanship on the installation is excellent and we like the instant hot water that the recirculation feature provides. The inlet/exhaust trim looks very good too. We will definitely reach out again in the future.
We were experiencing extreme water pressure fluctuations. I called JEM, they came out the next day. Ryan explained what was happening with our water pressure. He was extremely knowledgeable, professional and efficient. I highly recommend JEM Plumbing.

Highly recommend JEM. Upstairs leak in a water line that soaked into kitchen ceiling downstairs. Steve was awesome. He had a very calculated approach to determine location and minimized cutting through the bathroom walls for access. Workmanship was top notch, explained why and what he was doing. Also identified two other lines that were high potential leaks, repaired and installed shut off valves in basement. Offered realistic recommendations on all work. Steve was very knowledgeable, professional, courteous and worked non stop. Angie took initial call and was outstanding in followup and coordinating getting Steve out quickly. My hot water heater was on its last legs, one day cold and the next scalding hot. I called JEM and they sent Ryan out the SAME DAY. While there, at the end of an already busy day, he noticed that I had only one emergency shut off valve where the water enters my home. I didnt know that! You need a back-up shut off valve to avoid disaster in case the first one fails! And its not a big deal to install. So not only did he end my hot water heater blues with a shiny new tank - SAME DAY! - I got the back-up valve that everyone should have to avoid disaster. Thanks Ryan! Thanks JEM!
Quick with the install on a new electric water heater. The plumber we got was very polite, positive, respectful to my home. I really appreciate how quick they got out since we had no hot water even as busy as they were.
I rarely rate online services using my real name but I am making an exception this time. I needed a plumber for various plumbing issues and I googled and found JEM Plumbing. They sent Taylor and he fixed everything in about 3 hours. They have a flat rate for some jobs and for the rest they are charging labor and parts. I worked with many plumbers in my life and I have to say, this is a very good choice if you live in this area. I believe in hiring local business and I am happy that I found JEM PLumbing. They have many good reviews on Google and they are legit. They are doing a good quality job for a very good price. I hope other customers are reading my review and hiring them like me for their plumbing needs.
JEM came out within a couple hours when I had a leaking hot water heater. In the past they also fixed a pipe that was leaking directly onto my electric panel. Both guys that came out were professional and helpful with answering questions. Would highly recommend using this company.

I have no idea how they have a 4.9 rating. I called and scheduled an appt. I was told someone would be there the next day between 11-1. After no one showed up the next day, I called to see what happened and the receptionist said she had no one down with my name. Then she said she was waiting for photos of the leak which the leak came through the floor below. I sent her pictures of the toilet then she wanted wanted pictures of the shut off valve. I am not sure why they need all these pictures. Just show up and do fix the toilet. I should have known after the conversation with the receptionist.
Steve came out and did exactly what said he would to handle our repair. His workmanship was impeccable, he was on time and finished under his estimated time. I would strongly recommend JEM and Steve for any plumbing issues.
Ive had two main line backups since moving into my home. The first time I used a big name company to clear the line. The second time it took them two attempts to get my line clear and then they quoted me thousands to permanently resolve the issue. Looking for a second opinion I had the JEM team come out. They spent two hours tracing my line using a camera to review the issue and came up with a much less expensive solution to my problem that has worked flawlessly. Jeremy and the team care about what they do. Had them out yesterday to run a new gas line for a stove and the work was excellent. Will never use another company for my plumbing needs

If you are looking for an honest and dependable company, JEM is the company you want. We had no water in our kitchen the day before Thanksgiving. They squeezed us in at the end of their work day. The young man worked for 2.5 hours only to find that our problem was more extensive than just needing a new faucet. Early on Thanksgiving day, Jeremy called to ask if we wanted him to come out to try something that might allow us to have water since we were hosting dinner that day. Fortunately we had a work around and was able to decline his offer but what AWESOME customer service. They did get us back up and running again. We are recommending JEM to everyone in need of plumbing services. We love this company!!!

We had them transfer our house from a bad well to city water. We went through 4 different companies before JEM. None of them were either willing to work on the well, had the willingness to say when to give up on the well, or just chickened out of the job. They came in on budget, were cheaper than many other contractors, did the hookup in a single day, minimized damage to my lawn, and did a great job. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing plumbing services.
We had plumbing and gas work done. They forgot to turn the gas on but came back quickly to do so. When we tried to use the new gas line we found a large leak. They obviously did not test the line to make sure it wasn’t leaking. We are lucky my husband was smart enough to spray the line and find the leak. They did come fix the leak but I emailed Jeremy to make sure he was aware of what happened and I never heard from him.
Ryan was able to change out my disposal and fix my leaky bathroom faucet very fast. Professional and very fast. Thank you so much!! I will recommend this business to everyone I know!
Jeramy & crew came out & diagnosed a major drain problem in our warehouse. After figuring out the problem, Jeramy quoted us a repair that was logical & fair economically. Their work was timely / quick & accurate as they had to dig through concrete in our warehouse & into our yard to get a new drain line to our pumping station cistern. His crew was respectful of our work environment & customers as we attempted to stay open for business while they did their job. All in all - I cant imagine a better crew of guys to work on plumbing issues in the future!
All we can say is Jeremy is amazing. He’s second to none on knowledge and customer service. We have two crocks with a primary and backup sump pump in each crock. Our the primary/backup pumps in our secondary crock never run because no water ever goes into that crock, so we were concerned there was something blocking the water from getting into that pump based on what we’ve been told by other plumbers. We received an alarm early on Sunday morning that our primary and backup sump pumps in the primary crock both failed, so water was rising in the crock. I was scooping water out of the primary crock while my wife left messages with multiple plumbers trying to get anyone to help us. We had just finished our basement a couple years ago and were concerned about flooding because of the uncertainty of the secondary crock. Fortunately for us, Jeremy was the first call back and was at our home within 30 minutes. He quickly assessed the situation and determined the secondary crock was higher than normal, but not too high that water wouldn’t start going into that crock. It was a little unnerving allowing the water in the primary crock to rise to the top of the crock, but he was right because soon water began going to the secondary crock. Because of an iron-like substance in our ground water, we had a high failure rate of sump pumps over the years. Jeremy recommended a more heavy-duty sump pump given our situation. He didn’t have one readily available, so he offered to install a temporary sump pump at no cost if we were concerned about water not going to the secondary crock. He also came up with a longer-term solution to get more water to flow in the secondary crock, so the water wouldn’t have to rise to such a high in the primary crock. By now, we had such confidence in him that we elected not to have the temporary installed. His technician came out the next day to install the new primary/back-up sump pump, and it is much more durable with a longer-lasting battery. We have too much invested in the basement to go with anything less. His technician was very courteous and helpful. We’ve had multiple plumbers over the years try to determine why the secondary crock never gets any water. The consensus opinion was that there was rock or debris blocking the water from getting into the secondary crock. One suggested trying to snake a camera up the pipe to see, although he admitted this likely wouldn’t determine anything. Another suggested digging up around the footer to determine what was blocking the water. Obviously, none of that would have been necessary. More good things to say about our experience with Jeremy and his company, like our sense of trust in him, but we think we made our point.
Alec came out to assess a leak from a toilet and was able to fix the issue. He took extra time to check our other toilet per my request and was able to fix that one as well. He did a great job at explaining what was wrong and what he fixed. He was friendly and clean. Very happy with the service. Pricing was reasonable too.
Steve came out to repair a leak that we wasnt sure exactly where it was coming from. He was able to pinpoint the issue while explaining his reasoning so I could understand. Experienced and professional. Would recommend to anyone. Thanks for the great service.

JEM Plumbing has come to our rescue many times. They helped us at our businesses with problems ranging from routine backflow inspections to leaky faucets to a busted well that required us to tap into county water. They have also helped us at our home. The service is 5-Star and the prices are very reasonable. As an established client, I know that when I need them they will come out ASAP. It is also worth mentioning that this is a family-owned business that values helping neighbors and referring business to other local companies. They have our highest recommendation.
Had JEM run a gas line extension for a new stove as part of a kitchen remodel. Showed on time and did a great job as there was considerable amount of ductwork to work around. Very easy to work with.

2021-10-15We are very pleased with JEM plumbing. Our well failed so we decided to connect to city water instead of drilling a new well since the costs were very close in comparison. Jeremy, Heather and the rest of the team went above and beyond to make this a very easy process for us. Many other companies wanted us to contact the county and township to pay all permit fees and the many other companies it took to complete this job, the well sealing company, the road boring company, and the excavating company. They took care of all of the leg work, fees and the scheduling of all the different companies needed to complete this job to make for a seamless and quick installation. Everything was bundled into one easy to pay invoice at the end of the job. We were shocked that they had everything complete and our water running by the end of the day. Great company and great people. We will definitely tell all of our friends and use them for all of our plumbing needs moving forward. Thank you all so much, you’ll never understand how much we appreciate your hard work and dedication during what was a very stressful time for us!

2022-02-15JEM installed a new water main at my house, and I would recommend them to any one needing plumbing work.They did a great job explaining the process and answering any questions I had. They also were able to complete the installation without trenching my yard or destroying an existing 4ft retaining wall, which saved me even more $$.Ransom and his team (Brian, Ryker, Shaun) did a great job and were professional on-site. Their work looks great and they left my place clean.

2022-02-02JEM had been recommended to us by several others, and we used them for the first time yesterday. The hose from the washer rusted away from the cold water spigot, and resulted in what would have been for me an impossible repair. Ryan came out and couldnt have been more pleasant to talk with and more efficient with the repair. The price was fair, and I wont hesitate to use them again, and recommend them to friends and our real estate clients. Thanks!

2022-07-11Jem Plumbing responded to my need for an appointment right away. The worker was very knowledgeable and professional. He explained what the issue was and what he needed to do to correct it. He also advised what the approximate cost would be. When the work was completed I received an extremely detailed invoice listing all that was done. And the work was completed in less time than anticipated so I ended up SAVING MONEY$$. It was by far the best experience Ive had in a very long time when hiring a repair service. I will DEFINITELY utilize their business again and recommend them to all of my friends and family.

2022-01-26JEM sent out Ransom, Tearda, Brian and Shawn to connect our home to public water. Our well went out and two days after calling JEM we had running water again. Very fast turn around. All of the work was completed in a single day. JEM handled all the necessary permits and coordination. It was a breeze on our end. The areas in our home where they were working were left better than they found it, they even hauled away all of the well equipment we no longer needed. Great people to talk to and work with. 2022-03-23Joe Wolff replaced 2 sump pumps for us today. He was very professional, friendly, and answered all our questions. He also did a rinse procedure a few weeks ago on the hot water heater and again was very professional and friendly. Did an excellent job. Would definitely be happy to use JEM Plumbing again with great techs like this.

2022-06-27Ryan and Daniel came to my home this morning to investigate a crock in my garage, once they vacuumed the water out of said crock they immediately were able to identify that it is a primitive sump design. After calling all my friends and family to come and investigate and getting no definitive answer on what the crock was or why it was full of water, I called jem and within a few minutes the techs listed above knew what we were dealing with. If you’re looking for the most professional and respectful group of blue collar guys I’ve come across in my days, give jem plumbing a call.
