The absolute worst dealership to ever deal with. Beware of the vehicle they are trying to get you in! At first I thought this was the best dealership to do business with, but after my last purchase with them, I was wrong. BRING YOUR OWN MECHANICAL INSPECTOR BEFORE PURCHASING/SIGNING anything!
I am very disappointed with the sales management group here. I have bought three cars in the last two years at this location and I must say the Diversity team on the floor is phenomenal. The main reason I have bought three cars here is because of Laura and her can do and get it done attitude. She’s honest, and Keeps me well informed across the sales and financing process. However I can not say the same from her management team. I feel as if they are only interested in a sale that caters to their numbers regardless of the outcome. Yes it’s business and I know quite a bit about it since I have managed 200 employees in 6 local locations and internationally myself. Sadly the disconnect between the floor and sales management is palpable. I drop $1,000 to make sure I get the truck I want to work with and the next day it’s sold. No biggie, things happen so I move on to a similar one, nope not available but it’s listed. I am trading two cars as well as the $1,000 cash they are holding for no reason since they seem unable to hold a vehicle but hey I get it, shop policy, Keep that revolving sale going. No matter what she tried on all sales I feel as if they want her to push a car that I don’t want, that she clearly doesn’t want to sell me because she knows what I want plus it’s the fourth car I will be getting from her. There is a perceived attitude of oh well someone else will buy from us coming from the office; Either he can take this or nothing at all. Without saying a word I can see her demeanor change from energetic to frustrated. So I know it’s another roadblock from the office. Nevertheless we March on, and she does her damn best to help out. 4 more Rams online and yet 4 already sold or not ready, loaner vehicle etc. I am extraordinarily disappointed that the manager (Leader) did not even come out to support her amazing sales woman and at least apologize for all the inconveniences the apparent lack of communication happening as a whole has caused. No real solution. This is not the first time but more like the fourth in two years. I have not given up on her but I sure as hell have given up on Jake Sweeney as a whole. I bought a car in Iraq in 2007 yes Iraq, and had it waiting for me for 5 months before I returned to the USA from a 15 month tour and that was cakewalk compared to the back and forth going on here. Better communication from upstairs to downstairs creates a middle balance that allows for better flow of information and sales execution. Keep up the phenomenal work Laura, and well for the rest, good luck. Leaders engage and lead from the front not whisper from the rear.
I have a 2009 Jeep Wrangler that wouldn’t start so I decided to send it to the Jeep Wrangler dealership in tri county. When contacted by the Jeep Wrangler dealership service company I was told that a electrical harness needed to be replaced so I gave them the green light to fix the vehicle, a couple days later I was contacted by the Jeep Wrangler dealership service department that my Jeep Wrangler was done i immediately drove out to the dealership. When I got to looking at my parperwork (receipt) I discovered that my electric harness was never replaced that it was my fuse so instead of them charging me $89 they charged me $300 SMH it is a shame that they over charge American 🇺🇸 people during this financial hardship with inflation on groceries and astronomical gas ⛽️ prices PLEASE BE AWARE and CHECK your RECEIPT b4 you leave my jeep lovers 💕 in the GREATER Cincinnati area
I bought a 2008 Corvette from them a few weeks ago. I was assured by the salesman that everything was inspected and that nothing was wrong with the vehicle. When I brought up getting it inspected, the sales person Mark, said there was no need to that they already did and everything was fine. As soon as I got the car home it started making a loud knocking noise which ended up being a bad AC compressor. Also, I noticed right away a whining noise coming from the back wheel. I didn’t notice during the test drive because Mark put the top down and I didn’t hear it. Turns out the wheel bearing is also bad. I know these problems didn’t happen overnight. They sold me the car this way and it is costing me over $1700 to get it drivable. I contacted them right away about the loud knocking noise and the wheel bearing. I got the run-around and my phone calls were ignored. My advice is buyer beware with Jake Sweeney. I wouldn’t buy from them again and if you do have your vehicle independently inspected. Don’t trust their word. It’s no fun to buy a car for 27k that you can’t drive without putting a lot more money in it. Very disappointed to say the least!
If I could give zero stars I would. I took my truck there 7/13/21 I got it back 7/20/21(week later) took it to have my AC evaporator done cost me $2058.00 and 23 hours later Im here (Jake Sweeney) my truck passenger side is flooded and hot as boiling water. They kept ignoring my calls. I want my money back so I can go somewhere else.
Jake Sweeney Automotive is the best dealership for buying a new or used vehicle as well as servicing your vehicle. I always have an amazing customer experience with the sales or service department at Jake Sweeney. I highly recommend this automotive dealership for anyone looking to purchase a vehicle in the Cincinnati, Ohio area
Initial diagnostics on a 2016 Chevy Traverse was ran, quote given, money paid, and work done. Car still wasn’t fixed. Spent a couple hundred dollars more to what we were lead to believe would fix the problem. Left the lot, car still runs poorly, check engine light still on, and I know it’s crazy to think that when you spend hundreds of dollars for a diagnostic test you’d know what needs to be done to fix the vehicle, but apparently that expectation is far too high. It would take at minimum 10 additional hours of labor to maybe fix an issue. Who are you kidding? That’s after paying a very hefty price tag to “fix” the problem. This dealership and automotive shop sadly is taking advantage of consumers. I should have known better and taken this to a small shop from the get-go who would have honestly communicate, not price gauge, and care about customer service. Poor customer service. Don’t waste your time or hard earned money. What a shame.
I came into this dealership and was pleasantly surprised. My vehicle needed to have the radio anti theft system looked at and I had two TPS sensors that were faulty. My vehicle needed to be looked at overnight and these guys gave me a loaner rental. The staff are so friendly and upbeat. I spoke to Mr. Glass who works at this location and he was very professional. It was his birthday and he was working very diligently. Other car dealerships need to take notes. Customer service was amazing on all levels. This is how you run a car dealership especially in the service department!
Dont come here these people are shady and deceitful. My husband recently purchased a car from there and has been in contact w both the dealership and finance companies and have found that the finance people at the dealership have been lying about the things he needs even though hes already sign the contract, they keep blaming the finance company but my husband has already cleared things up with them. Theyre talking about taking the car back and charging us a rental fee without even giving us our downpayment back, saying something along the lines of we are just telling you what the finance company is telling us theyre shady and they are lying!!! Dont work w these people.
I bought a used 2016 Jeep Renegade Trailhawk and love it! Nick Fugate took great care of me and was very patient with my indecisiveness. I am glad that I went through with the deal, and Nick even helped me get set up with syncing my phone to the car and followed up with me after I left the lot to see if I needed anything else. If you have a choice, do not let Ron be your salesman. He only cares about sales and once you sign, will not do anything to help you.He is rude and has cursed at me on the phone when I tried to question him about an issue with the car the day after I bought. DO NOT buy a car from Ron. Dealership and customer service are great, not Ron.
I took My car in to have my radio replaced because it was malfunctioning they called me in today to replace it and cracked my screen removing it and then told me they couldnt warranty it now. My radio literally doesnt work at all now it was working fine when I drove it up there. My Sales person Dewayne and the service manager Chris went to bat for me and there replacing my radio the assistant service manager blew me off if you have issues by pass him all together.
I bought my Dodge RAM there in 2014. I have had all my services done there especially my oil/filter changes. I have always purchased their oil change packages which saves me money and time from changing the oil myself. The Express Lane works well for me while I wait in the lounge. I was in and out in about 45 minutes today for my oil/filter change.
Great experience for my mom and I. We had the pleasure of working with Bob, he is great. He didn’t pressure my mom or my about her car or try and scare tactics. The sales manager really took care of my mom on where she needed to be price wise. I will be buying my next car from here.
Once you sign on the line, they will no longer be your friend. I bought a wrangle from Ron and after a week noticed a spreading chip in the windshield. Thinking it was from me, I went to have it repaired. Only to find out it had already been repaired by jake sweeney and there was nothing satelite could do except replace the entire windshield.I called Ron, and told him the situation. Mind you, this is less than 2 weeks after I bought the car and he said **** your windshield the car is yours.Go elsewhere. I have the call recorded if anyone would like to hear.
Absolutely terrible. They send me a message saying text if you would like updates. They dont even respond. Then i drop my car off at 1, the part has to be ordered, they dont even tell me this. They were going to close without even calling me about my car. And then they try to jack the price up on the rental that i now have to pay for because they cant do their job.
They we having a sales event on this day. And they were giving away gift cards. I signed up just to get the card. Right off the bat I had a salesman. The sales process started right from the time I walked in the door. I thought I find out the trade value of my pickup was. I keep getting reasons why I couldnt get any numbers. After asking how munch Im putting and I told nothing, because I wasnt in the market for new vehicle. He went on to another customer and left me hanging. If ambush sales is the new way of selling cars than it is a sad day. Before starting a sale you should wait on the customer to initiate the process.
I bought a 2016 hyundai elantra ftom Ken Haro on 1/14/21. I called him on 1/26/21 about a miss in the car. I was told by him, he cant do anything about it, try the srvice dept. I called the service dept, they wanna charge me 125 dollars to fo a diagnostic on the car, that i havent had for 2 weeks. So beware if you are wanting the epitome of used car salesman Ken Haro is your man. Personally i will never deal with Jake Sweeney on Kemper or any Jake Sweeney again.
I am so extremely happy with the service that I got buying my new car! Zack Sweeney, Andy Hill And Nicholas Malloy made me feel like part of the Jake Sweeney family, I will continue to buy cars from here for life. They were so friendly and their expertise was phenomenal! I highly recommend them!
DONT BUY HERE.DISHONEST, UNPROFESSIONAL.I had an awful experience with Jake Sweeny Chervolet. After I came to an agreement on the price with my salesman, Jim Garrison, he added $300 to the price. He said it was nothing and it wasnt my real price and the finance guy would explain it to me. So when I spoke with the finance guy, he told me that this $300 was a mandatory warranty that I had to buy. When I spoke with the salesman after that, the sales manager, Tyler, Got involved and he tried to make it sound like this was all my fault because I didnt read the sticker on the windshield but there was no sticker on the truck. No price was listed anywhere. Very deceitful and unprofessional to sneak an extra $300 into the price without telling me. Sales manager conducted a very poor representation of the dealership with the way he handled everything too.I was also supposed to get an extra key fob ordered for my truck, so they told me to go to a local dealer, since I live kind of far away, and have them call Jake sweeny so the local dealer could get their payment info and order the key fob. The local dealer called and left a message for Jake sweeny and nobody got back with them. I contacted Jim multiple times for 3 weeks, kept giving me the run around and avoiding the issue. Sometimes not even answering my texts. Last time I called he ignored call on 2nd ring and didnt call or text back. Ended up calling parts manager, who was helpful and was able to take care of me within 5 minutes. Extremeley unprofessional and terrible way to do business.Every time I have been asked where I bought my truck by friends family and coworkers, I discourage them from buying from Jake Sweeny. Very disappointed in the dishonesty from the sale and not following through on his end of the deal with the key fob, basically making it my job to make sure it got done. These arent the type of people you want representing your business!Edit: If they say they will follow up with you, its a lie. STAY AWAY FROM THESE GUYS
Worse dealer ever! Didnt fix our car after three visits, because they continued to mis-diagnose the issues costing us more money than necessary. Also an appointment means nothing they just take it in and only work on it when a specific service team is available. I have never seen anything like it!
They are slow and always delay the repair to the following week, probably to get a rental car out of the customer. Its no wonder that they always try to squeeze every last cents out of the customer, and theyre vehicles are full of recalls and failures. They might get the part covered by the manufacturer, but then try to indicate additional problems. For example , key ignition recall, keys stuck. Battery dies because the key is stuck, instead of jumping old battery tries to sell new battery for outrageous price. Never again.
Bought a used 2017 Silverado and couldnt be happier with the whole experience. Joe Wise did an amazing job and never once pressured us in anyway. We have always bought from Jeff Schmitt and always felt like they got one over on us. Great buying experience ! Well definitely buy from Jake Sweeny again and will request Joe Wise as our salesman. IF I COULD I WOULD GIVE THIS PLACE A NEGATIVE 10....terrible sales person named DANIEL MCCRAY AND HIS MANAGER MIKE MULLINS. DANIEL MCCRAY lied the entire time of sale—MIKE WAS COMPLETELY RUDE when I expressed my concerns! The entire experience was HORRIBLE!!! Never will buy another car from Jake Sweeney ....EVER!!
Take pictures of your Vehicle before you take it there... Technician there arent there for the customers just a pay check.. But some managers there will go beyond to try to insure that its not there way of doing business.. However there Technician should be brought to a higher customer service level of experience, not just for a paycheck
Service department tried to charge me over 1000 dollars for brakes and rotors and tires.... decided to check it out my self and rotors were in excellent shape and brake pads were not half way worn down... there service department is definitely scamming people!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I called and ordered a door speaker for my car lady told me come out two weeks to have it installed so I took the day off and came out Then lady out there and told me I had to pay for the speaker first it will be in a certain day so I called out there before I weigh now and took today off and it was not out there so I scheduled an appointment when they said they received it in hopefully it will be in and I can have it installed soon
Car dealers job is to sell cars ,but they make it so hard for you to purchase a used car not new cars.its rediculas.as long as you can pay the tax title and monthly payment that should be all that matters.car dealers sell me a used car somebody.except sweeney.one star for wasting my time and traveling exspences.
Horrible experience. Wish we could review it with no stars. Bought a car on January 3 with a certified cashiers check. A month later, the temporary tag provided has fallen off. Went to DMV but we cant get it titled without the title. Called February 3 to inquire why we havent received title. We were told it was mailed out January 31. Today is February 6, still no title. Called back and was told it wasnt mailed until maybe February 3. So, I bought a car I cant legally drive because they are doing something shady with the title.
Drove 5 hours to pick up a car only to find that it was advertised at a higher trim package then the car actually was. It could have been an honest mistake. But the manager who came out to speak with us treated us (two women) with condescation and arrogance. He first tried to convince us that the car was the higher trim package despite it missing several standard features. When he realized that we were to informed to be tricked into believing him, he shifted gears and made it clear that it was our fault for not catching the mistake. Also had problems getting the numbers to add up during the financial process .I was treated with dishonesty, and misleading information at this dealer. If I had not researched my car thoughly, they would have (and tried) to swindle me into buying a car believing it was something it was not.As a woman who doesnt know cars well Im always concerned Im going to be taken advantage of. This car dealer proved exactly why this is a valid concern.
I have been a Chevrolet customer since 2016. I recently went to upgrade my vehicle and had the pleasure of working with Scott Peeler. He worked efficiently and got me the exact results I wanted. At 8 months pregnant, it isn’t always easy to sit and wait but he was very understanding and got me in and out. Best sales experience since being a Chevrolet customer. I highly recommend working with Mr.Peeler. I can tell that he truly cared and was responsive to my needs and interest. He will always have my business!

2022-04-16I had searched for months for the vehicle I wanted, with the shortage of cars I found the one I wanted from Jake Sweeney, they have the largest inventory, so much to choose from and by FAR the easiest purchasing process Ive ever experienced. Everything was negotiated through text or via phone, and they gave me exactly what I requested and more. Andy was my salesman and he was excellent. I drove from over two hours and I will always be a returning customer. They truly are the best.

2022-07-06My mom and dad love their new Mazda! Jake Sweeney took excellent care of my parents. After a few weeks of looking around, they found a new vehicle. Im so glad they went with a Mazda! They were really nervous buying a car because they have never bought a brand new car off the lot, but their salesperson, Jason, made them feel comfortable and didnt pressure them into anything! I highly recommend Jake Sweeney to anyone looking to purchase a vehicle!

2022-03-23Starting with a VERY generous 3 stars until we pick up our car (for the second time) after it gets fixed I will come back and add a new review. This review is to advise anyone going to Jake Sweeney please steer clear of salesman LA Johnson. Was told our car would get floor mats in it, he said he didnt tell us (my wife and I) that. When I asked to talk to the manager he said Yeah, I dont even care. One would think when someone spends over $20000 you would get treated a little better. We will hopefully pick up our car next week and I will give a full review.

Outstanding customer service, helped me get the truck I wanted and even delivered it an hour away since I was unable to go to the dealer. My husband and I are very happy with the Silverado we purchased. Clean and gorgeous inside and out.

2022-01-27Eric Fuss was beyond patient and professional with every question or obstacle I presented during the purchasing process. I bought from out of state and relied on his word regarding every aspect of the car and how we could get it to my location. He was prompt with responses and kept me informed during every step, even checking in with me once I had possession to ensure everything was ok.The guys that delivered the car were pretty awesome too. They checked over the car with me, made sure I knew where things were and congratulated me before getting on the road back to OH. Great service all around. (Give them all a day off from me. )

2022-06-10Would love to speak with someone again after the smoke clears. My fiance purchased a truck 10 months ago, still under power train warranty from GMC. She also purchased an extended warranty. The truck had a coolant leak before we signed. Was fixed before we tool delivery. The truck never stopped smelling like coolant. A trip to the dealer she was sent home claiming it was residual coolant smell from the leak. A few weeks later, the water pump completely let go. Taken back to the dealer again where the warranty covered some of the repair. At the time of the repair she was recommended a tune up. She asked if it was OK to drive and was told yes. The estimate was almost 700 dollars for a tune up. She called several times to attempt to get a straight answer if we could do it ourselves with no luck and no response to emails or phone calls. Fast forward the truck started shuttering down hills. Another appointment made, this time shes met with a rude service advisor who all but tells her she didnt do the recommended service so her warranty might be void. She phoned her sales man and instructed service not to touch the truck as she may trade it in due to all the issues. The next day we arrive to truck shop, and were told the truck has been diagnosed and needs a transmission, even tho we told them not to touch it. They then tell us, theyll pay for half if we trade it in, and then decided to cover it ONLY if she buys another vehicle. All week back and fourth to end up upside down and in a far more expensive payment, with no wiggle room on any vehicle we looked at even though we had so many issues. We wanted to seek vehicles elsewhere but who knows what they did to truck in service as we now told if we didnt get a different vehicle we owed 3500 dollars. Seems very shady, and I am a dealer myself. Would love to speak to someone on this that isnt a sales person who told my fiance and future mother in law that he worked on this all week for free and made no money this week.Please reach out before we speak again with the Ohio S.A.Be vigilant if you shop here.
