2021-11-26Apparently this company is now affiliated with Weiss movers in Cleveland. Do not use this company!! I had 2 good experiences with them before they were bought out by Weiss. I moved in July 2021. Was told they would professionally pack on one day and move me the next day. They came in and did everything in one long day of 14 hous. Needless to say nothing was professionally packed. Had two broken chairs, one broken bed. Broken vase, picture frames. And, every box I unpack the list goes on.. Ive tried contacting them for compensation and no one will return my call. Also, ended up charging me more than the estimate they gave me.

2019-08-07Highly recommend these movers! They were recommended to us and we would recommend them now that weve used them. They are professional and courteous. They took great care with all our items, moved a ton of heavy stuff in a timely fashion (and without complaining!), and were just great to work with. They made our big moving day a breeze and they know what they are doing. They took apart large furniture and reassembled it in no time. Very pleased!

2021-06-18The worst experience I have had in my lifetime of moving.They showed up 75 minutes late, after 2 hours they wanted to take a lunch, brought not tools to break anything down such as bed and washer/dryer. When they get to house to unload my almost new washer and dryer was ruined, my dining room table had a chunk out of the top, my sofa tables leg was dangling and everything is scratched and gauged. To top it off one of the workers would not get out of the truck to help unload so my son had to do it. They did some damage inside the house. The worker said not to worry they have insurance. 🙄Once I arrived to see the damage I talked to a manager on the phone and he said he couldn’t help me. I would need to talk with Wayne.Needless to say I did not pay them and demanded they get off of the property.I’ve called wayne multiple times, sent an email along with pictures and to no avail.

2021-07-14I would definitely recommend J&R moving. The two young gentlemen who moved me were very pleasant. They went above and beyond to make sure my items were taken care of. Thank you guys for a job well done😊

2021-06-20My mom had an an absolutely horrifying experience. Not only we’re they super late, lazy, and unprofessional, but they also damaged so many of her things and the house that she was moving in to and seemed to not care or do anything about it. DO NOT use this company unless you want your beloved possessions destroyed.

2019-12-20We moved back in August on an extremely hot day, and the three guys that helped us out could not have been harder working, kinder, or more accommodating. We moved items from both from my house, as well as from my husbands storage unit into our new home, and it was a much longer, intensive day than I had anticipated, due to the amount of furniture and boxes being moved. Despite my gross underestimation of items being moved, the three movers got it all done in a day, and could not have been more thorough in putting the larger items of furniture together, and making sure everything ended up exactly where it belonged. I cant recommend Weiss enough.

2020-03-25Professional, prompt, polite, efficient, and affordable. Excellent communication and customer service. I hired J & R Moving to move a piano, and will definitely call them again for all my moving needs. Highly recommended.

2016-06-29Contracted J R Moving to move furniture & heavy items, employees were courteous and worked quickly and efficiently. A piece of furniture was broken and the owner (Jeff) was not inclined to settle the account - giving excuses of how he could have fixed the item and then questioned the quality of the piece. Very unprofessional. Would not use him for high end cargo.
