No restaurant in this entire world will compare to Indian Delight.First and foremost, the food is incredible.Second, the employees and owner are soooo kind and caring. They are good hearted people and will make sure you leave happy. I love the new restaurant renovations and the eating area is super nice, but I always get take out. My go to order is butter chicken, chicken tikka masala, chicken 65, samosas and naan bread. The butter chicken and the chicken tikka masala here are the best that I’ve ever tried in my entire life, and I’ve tried a lot of versions. Just heads up, if you’re placing a larger order during dinner time, they typically take 30-45 minutes so plan accordingly. It’s worth the wait!!!
First time ording today. I ordered Samosa and Paneer Tikka Masala. The flavor of both items was very good. However, I couldnt get pass the bright red color of the Tikka Masala. I called the restaurant to ask if they use red food coloring and they do. I dont understand why? It doesnt need it. The natural red color is enough, instead of adding a synthetic color. Please! Please! PLEASE! STOP using it, you dont need it!
Ali Bhai makes the best Haleem (yummy and spicy) in the entire US. I live in Denver and I happened to Visit Cleveland and came to this restaurant on friends recommendation. His Biryani is also the best. I plan to eat here every time I come to Cleveland and recommend this place for authentic Hyderabad Cravings. Thank you Ali Bhai
Place was empty on a Saturday night. Food was good and made in the exact spice level each one of us asked, however they served it in cheap plastic plates and with plastic forks which made the whole experience off. When they waitress asked us if we want to start with water she didn’t mention that it’s not tap but $1 bottle each. They also didn’t have ice which is weird for a restaurant . Probably won’t go back there again. Maybe delivery.
Indian Delight has been a favorite of mine for many years but just got a major facelift. The new interior is stylish and clean. And the food, as always, is fantastic. Very fresh and flavorful! Medium spice level has a nice kick so beware if you dont like spicy food and order it mild.
I ordered the Butter Chicken by recommendation as it was my first time ordering from this restaurant. I was NOT disappointed!!! The food was hot, fresh, and flavorful. The sauce was great for dipping my Naan and the portion was perfect for a meal. I am definitely going to order again.
I want to thank the receptionist (Bhuvana) who recommended the Biryani for dinner and Rasmalai for dessert.I am a foodie guy and I love and appreciate good and tasty food. I would travel hours if someone recommend me for a good food place. But lately because of the pandemic I am not traveling far places for good food. The other day one of my colleague told me to try out Indian Delight. He never tried it before but he said he saw some advertising online and it sound good. So I thought to give it a try.Whenever I go to a new place I always ask for their best seller dish. And I normally go with that because I don’t want to risk it. But this time I ask the receptionist (who is very professional and very patient person) about her choice and she recommended the biryani dish. So I ordered a biryani and rasmalai on the side.I was really hungry after a long day of work with not having a minute to eat anything since morning.I am pure desi and and I grew up in a family who are famous for their delicious biryani. And rasmalai is my favorite. So I was hoping that the biryani is to my standard and I will be complaining a lot of the biryani did not tasted like it should. But I was shocked when I tried the biryani. It looked not exactly how biryani should look like but trust me when i say this, The biryani was the Bomb dot com. It was delicious and cooked really nice. They did not shy on the chicken part. It was good enough portion that I am sure I will be full till tomorrow.I will say please give it a try. Highly recommend this place. And do listen to the receptionist choice. She got a good taste and she is very honest.
I absolutely love this place! They have a great selection of food and it’s all great. The prices are reasonable and everything is very consistent. I appreciate having this place around. My go to is the tikka massala chicken and the spinach paneer. Stick around a while, please!
They have huge varieties of wraps in their menu, while me and my friend have ordered chilli chicken wrap and chicken 65 wrap, and literally we got the same wraps that too they had just some bits and pieces of chicken tikka and not even a bit different from each other. Very bad and not at all happy with the food they served.
Not only is the presentation of the restaurant is neat. The decor is beautiful and their customer service is great. They were super helpful with helping me understand the menu and gave me an accurate estimation of the wait time for our food. The food was so delicious and the portions are absolutelyyy worth your money! I will be eating from here again and I recommend 10/10!
Although pictures of this place make it seem like a nice place to bring a date, notice the plastic cups on the tables holding the plastic forks, etc. Their plates are plastic, and their sensibility is plastic. The food was ok, but nothing great. This place is around the corner from my house, and Ive avoided it for years because of lackluster food.It has some dedicated fans in the neighborhood, Im sure it will do well. But Ill skip it for a while. The service was very good though. The issues are not the fault of the service staff.
Staff was very polite and accommodating. They let us in before it opened. The restaurant was clean and nice decor. Food was amazing! Best Indian food Ive ever had! Mask compliant. The owner came to the table to ask how the food was. Very pleased with overall experience, will return and absolutely recommended.
My husband chose this for his birthday dinner last weekend. We love Indian food and this was the only place with Indian great taste food that we could find in Cleveland. You can order and pay over the phone when you get takeout so thats what we did. Are else u can dine in , the food was little spice for me but the manager was so kind he properly took care of it , I will visit the place soon …
Ordered from Doordash- I LOVE Indian food, so my mouth was watering looking at their menu.(I was very hungry) My expectations were met and exceeded- this is some of the best Indian food Ive ever had! I ordered mild butter chicken and come garlic naan (the naan is AMAZING- freshly made!) and the spice level was PERFECT! Im a wimp with spicy flavor haha. I keep thinking about ordering from them again almost every day- And I definitely will once its my order out to eat day again!
My family has been getting catered food from here for large (weddings) and small (5 people) functions for at least 7 years and it’s always consistently some of the best food I’ve ever eaten. I’m home alone for a little over a week and I ordered a half tray of biryani and half tray of chicken 65 and I’m in heaven. I think they gave me some extra dessert out of nowhere and I’m just so thankful. You won’t go wrong with this food.
Bad experience! Food was hard and dry! For $15 for chicken marsala and it doesnt come with rice is crazy. The waitress had the audacity to tell me its supposed to be hard to just wrap it in the naan! I came so far just to eat there but NEVER AGAIN!! I wish I could give no star! Btw...I ordered something else and made sure I said no peppers and onions... She brings my meal with BIG peppers and onions...
Worst Indian food ever. To even call this Indian food is an insult to India. There is no flavor and no salt. We got the butter chicken and veg starter. The paneer were like little deli slices of cheese and nothing but breading around them. The pakora was just hashbrowns with onions. The samosa was store bought and not freshly made. The butter chicken was sweet and you couldnt even taste the tomato in it. NOTHING HAD SALT. Not even the buttered Naan. We will definitely not be returning here.
First time we ordered we tried the medium, it was fire bomb in your mouth that is the chicken biryani, figure it was bad idea for medium. Two weeks after ordered again but this time mild it was worse than the medium, no one could eat . Called them and guess manager say he cooks all the chicken the same so it would all be same. Love Indian food but if you have kids and try to make a family meal forget it. The heat in that food will have you taking your kids to ER
All I ordered today was a Chai (Tea) Masala. They told me 15 minutes. No problem thats fine. I got there early waited 5 minutes got my tea went to my truck and guess what....This tea is lukewarm and it tasted like it has been sitting there for quite sometime. Plus, after taking more than a sip, this stuff started to bother my stomach after about an hour. Yeah, I should have went back in, but I already had my 5 month old all strapped in her car seat. I figure, Ill just bite the bullet and say screw it. Its only $2.I bought Masala tea from here a week ago during the evening and it was fantastic. Now, Im afraid to even order from here again.
Edit: The Next Morning- Gave me food poisoning!! Do not eat here!Don’t get the $7 lunch box.. great portion but not for the dessert (1 gulab jamun lol) but tough meat and felt like leftovers/not fresh. Food was really okay, don’t get the whole wheat parathas (doesn’t seem like whole wheat), wraps were great/lots of meat.
The food here is usually great but this last time I order the butter chicken and garlic naan. The butter chicken was super spicy when I asked for mild and the naan was VERY hard. When I called to tell the manager about it he basically laughed in my face saying thats how the naan is and if I cant take the heat dont order from them. I order from them all the time and my naan is NEVER hard and the spice level is manageable and almost never have a problem but this time I was really confused about why he was treating me this way. Dont know if Ill go back
This was my first time trying Indian food and to be honest I loved everything about. The spices weren’t too hot and the meat was tender. I will definitely be back to try other dishes. With that, the customer service was AMAZING and made me feel welcome and more open to trying new food.
A good sized but empty dining room greeted us, but we need not have worried. The restaurant was doing a very brisk takeout and delivery business the entire time we were there. Service was attentive and food was excellent. We started with a vegetable appetizer sampler and loved the samosas, pakoras, and other items provided. For entrees we had Paneer Tikka Masala, Rogan Josh, Salmon Curry, and Chicken 65 accompanied by Peas Pulau and naan. The table vigorously debated which entree was the most delicious. Each diner was completely satisfied with the dinner and the service, but we subtracted one star for the disposable dishes, flatware, and cups. Highly recommended!
The BEST Biryani in Cleveland. Staff is also nice.We placed a catering order and was hesitant about the quantity but the food they catered is good quantity, quality and excellent taste. All the items were very yummy.Chicken Biryani ( they customised spice as per our need), Rogan Josh, Samosa, Gulab Jamun.I would definitely recommend people to try this place. The restaurant is renovated and ambiance also looks nice👌
Indian Delight has become a favorite in our house! The Shahi Korma (extreme, of course) is our regular order and the ultimate comfort food. While we’ve noticed the recipe has changed in the past few weeks to kick up the heat and shifted the flavor to be more acidic, it’s still our favorite. Truthfully, we’re here at least once week. Would recommend to anyone.
After being closed for a while for renovations. This once mom and pop with many booths and a buffet. Has taken a more upscale hipster vibe. Its nice but I definitely miss the tvs they use to have that played indian music. Food is awesome but i miss the culture. Every staff member is friendly. Best tomato soup Ive ever had. Due to covid19 theres no longer a buffet.
While returning from Niagara we had our lunch in this restaurant today. We ordered Biryani and Chicken curry with rice and kulcha. We liked all of these very much, after so many days we had a food which was actually spicey as per our Indian taste buds.If you stay near Cleveland this is must go/try place for Indian food. The owners were also very attentive so if you need something in between you dont need to wait.
I ordered Malai Kofta, Lamb Vindaloo, Garlic Naan, Tandoori Roti.Malai Kofta gravy tastes only like cream. There was no spices in it at all. It had a strong flavor of onion. The Kofta balls were dry inside, and over fried.Lamb Vindaloo tastes nothing like a Vindaloo. The potatoes were undercooked, lamb tastes very bland. But, the tandoori items were up to the mark. The dinner was ruined!
Go here for the culture! I give it 5 chefs kisses. This was my first time trying Indian fare and WOW! Now Im hooked! I will be trying everything on the menu at least once. I started with the Karahi and I recommend trying it on medium for you first timers. Its a revelation to try this food. So much season your moms meals just wont work anymore.
Should be renamed COLORED DELIGHT, we ordered Paneer Makhni, it was laden with color, and the paneer was hard and chewey, the red color didn’t wash off even the next day.We also ordered Biryani as well, which again was colored and was more like a tawa pulao, served on a big size plate. As a traveler won’t recommend this place to anyone visiting Cleveland.
Good food but over priced for amount given and taste. Indian food is my favorite type of food and I always make sure to have eaten at all Indian restaurants in and around Cleveland and always try new Indian restaurants as soon as possible. Not saying it has bad food but Ive had better. Given the choice I would go somewhere else instead of here. Worth a try.
Ordered Vegetable Biryani 2 boxes First time, Never going to order again .Taste was Sooo BAD Worst Biryani ever had , there was No veggies only Few potatoes, no cauliflower, beans carrots. It was like we are eating only rice ,it has the sore taste. We had few bites of it, Not good at all. We have throw it out.It was tasting like it’s left over.If u r going to serve this. Please refuse the order, so that we don’t have to travel 30 min to pickup and then come back, overall it took 1 hour.Totally Disappointed.
I’ve been coming here for years and the buffet is amazing. Many places go cheap on the buffet but not them. It is the only place I’ve ever been where the tandoori chicken is crisp and tender. The curries are not heavy, instead they are delightfully spiced and lean more toward home style cooking.
So I have ordered from here a number of times and the curries are good. However, this time as I was dining in, I wanted to try something different and the rating reflects just this meal. We had a chaat item each and one of the new wraps. Out of the four chat items only the samosa chat was okay. I also had the chicken tikka wrap. The best part of this dish was the naan bread it was wrapped in. The tikka itself was not that great flavor wise.
I really wanted to like it but the service has been questionable. I have ordered 3x so far - 1 chana masala (very bland), 1 chaat (very good), 2 vegetable kormas (waaaay too hot).First time I ordered the Korma, I got a Medium and it nearly burned my mouth and I’m Indian lol. I asked for extra rice and also didn’t receive that? I got a 10% off coupon so I decided to give them another chance. I ordered the navrattan Korma again tonight because it’s amazing, asked for extra rice again and said I wanted spiciness between Mild and Medium, less hot than before. I’m happy to pay for extras, but I want some rice lol. I actually worried it would be a little bland, but NOPE it was even spicier than my last Korma and nearly impossible to eat!! And no rice! I just do not understand, nobody told me on the phone it was extra or not, they just said no problem. I love their food so much but the experience as a whole has been disappointing.
Went there for dinner and LOVED it. The food tasted so good—so full of flavor and the meat was tender and well-seared. We asked for our spicy to be extra spicy and WHOA they delivered. Yum! The service is incredibly accommodating and helped us with the menu... makes you feel right at home! The owner is very pleasant and checked up on us after the meal.Highly recommended! Some of the best Indian food Ive ever had!
Indian Delight is the best food. Not the best Indian food, simply the best food. Ive been working my way down the menu trying every thing and all of it has been good. They recently renovated and it looks fabulous in there now. Well done Indian delight, well done indeed!
The worst Indian food in the Cleveland area. Tried it the 2nd time thinking the taste could change after all the renovation.Used same gravy base for the all curries even after they confirming that it would not be same while ordering.lamb was uncooked, tandoori chicken is too dry and smells crazy.Nothing tasted good.
Every Friday to Goat biryani is to die for, unbelievably delicious just the right spices and the meat is cooked very well. I’ve been eating here for many years and I have yet to have food did not taste any different. Every Friday it’s Friday specialThank you ask for my brother Hussain Bahi.Salamwalakom!
To start, we ate in the beautiful new dinning room. But sadly everything was plastic and paper! One it’s not environmentally friendly and two you feel like you are at a cheap picnic, I would have rather ate traditional with my hands than with plastic cutlery. We had the meat sampler appetizer. The paper plate was massive for all the small pieces on the plate. What they called Prawns were the smallest dry and chewy from frozen shrimp. The lamb vindaloo was watery and lacked complexity. The aloo Gobi was bland COLD and needed salt. Both were ordered medium and both had almost no spice. I also ordered the goat biryani with was terrific! How ever was 3 times the size as the other two entrees, wasn’t sure if we were given extra or if the other two were shorted. I hope improvements are to come!
Got here for the lunch buffet and was highly disappointed. There was no one there to greet us and the place looked pretty dumpy. I knew it wasnt going to be the best atmosphere from reading reviews but the food or service did not make up for any of it. There were very limited choices in the food and it was not good! I love indian food and was excited to try this place but it was extremely bland and tasteless, chutney was extremely salty and there was pretty much no service. The guy never gave us water or anything, after were were done we had to go over to a random table and pour our water, he never took a drink order. At $10 for the buffett it was not worth it! Will not ever dine again at this hole in the wall....
I ordered from here tonight for the first time and was blown away! I ordered through Door dash and loved that there were pictures 😊 When my order arrived, I felt I got a great deal for the $ I spent and it was super delicious! I love to try new food all the time and cannot wait to order again! Thank you for the delicious food 😁
The environment was really peaceful, neat and clean. It is near the main street, so the customers can see outside the window. Not only that, the decor was amazing with different kinds of paintings and different colors of curtains. They played the music from all over the country. The Indian delight Restaurant is giving lots of happiness for indian people other countries people too. It is really quiet and it did not seems to be very rushed and the waitress had time for us.
Ordered(togo) goat biryani and chicken biryani. I see theres no meat but only rice, meat quantity is really less with pleanty of rice. Wouldnt recommend if you are going to choose biryani. Drove around 30 minutes to restaurant to get biryani, waste of my time and money.I was so dissapointed.
I’ve beeen coming here for years and the buffet is amazing. Many places go cheap on the buffet but not them. It is the only place I’ve ever been where the tandoori chicken is crisp and tender. The curries are not heavy, instead they are delightfully spiced and lean more toward home style cooking.
Im writing this because the owner seems to respond. Are yall still open? I went last week and it seems like you all were closed or renovating. My review: the food: AMAZING! I love the chicken tikka masala and the garlic naan. The negative: they NEVER answer the phone consistently. Sometimes I call repeatedly for 30 minutes before someone picks up. I usually order to-go.
I found this place on doordash while looking for samosas and yellow curry. My taste palate was strange to describe and the gentleman i spoke with helped me find what i would like very easily despite my embarassment for not understanding the menu. I ordered navrattan korma and it was JUST what i was looking for. Amazing 😍😍 thank you!
Visited this restaurant to have snacks but got to see some tasty looking recipes in the menu. They offer really delicious foods. All the foods are cooked with fresh and healthy materials. loved the spices. Popular dishes include Chicken Tikka, Chicken Tikka Masala, Samosa, etc.
I am personally not a big fans of eating at Restaurants other than my birthday , but this Restaurants attract me . Now a days I am going once a weekThe food was tasty and spicy as well. Customers can to choose the spices that they want . The Chef at the restaurant makes delicious food compared to other restaurants. I recommend everybody try indian food in that restaurant.
Best Indian food in Cleveland! If you want something truly authentic that doesnt shy away on the spiciness, this place is perfect. Amazing flavor and quality of food. The service was wonderful, also; the chef came out to speak to us after and ask us how everything was, and the waiter was lovely. Highly recommend the palak paneer, especially, and the madras lamb!
Worst experience. We were there at before closing around 9:30 and they refused to let us in to the dinning. The person at the reception even refused to take the order. I dont mind this but the way he talked... I am not coming back and will not recommend this place to anyone
This is the BEST Indian food restaurant in Cleveland. The food is incredible, the staff is friendly (and helpful if youre not sure what a menu item is). I recommend the lunch buffet which always has the Indian staple foods that you see around. If youre doing dinner and like spicy food chicken 65 is the way to go.
The service was excellent in the Restaurant, and the people were very friendly and polite in the restaurant. When we first entered, the waitress welcomed us in a very polite way and showed the comfortable seats and offered us waterI can’t wait to come back for dinner!Excellent food, and The lunch buffet was not extensive, but each dish I tried (Im vegetarian, so this review wont address the chicken dishes) was balanced and delicious.
This restaurant is spending lot of money on disposable plates and cutlery I really appreciate that , to stay safe from COVID , manager was so nice he allowed as after 9:30pm and closed the restaurant little late, thank you so much I loved the food , staff was very polite and awesome….
I was here with my friends and have ordered a soup first. They took 40 minutes to serve just the soup. Poor service i have ever experienced in my life. Food is said to be indian spicy just for name sake. I was waiting for the food and the phone was just ringing and ringing and ringing and the officials do not even care to answer them. When i asked them for the reason of not answering the calls, they replied that they are busy, with a big laugh, and just rushed from my table. I had a very bad experience here. Even one star is of waste to rate it.
I had the chance to go back again. This time had Mirchi ka Salan along with Biryani which was amazing, awesome. Loved it.I love the food especially biryani. I have been to this restaurant multiple times and each time the food is better than the previous forcing me to return back. You can sit and enjoy food with whole family. I strongly recommend this place to all.Food is halal and tasty.
Great food! I have been here several times and the food never disappoints. This is probably, if not the best Indian food in Cleveland. The decor is somewhat lacking (better then it use to be) but once you eat the food it doesnt matter. Good value and friendly service.
This is by far the ABSOLUTE BEST food ever. I dine in for the $10 lunch buffet, or use Uber Eats, almost every day. No joke, I eat this every day. Everyone here is friendly and the food is absolutely delicious. Please try it, you wont be disappointed. The Chicken Tikka, salmon curry, aloo Gobi, okra, and chicken biryani are to die for!
Stopped here for lunch on our way from Pennsylvania to Michigan. The food and service was really good (though we found few negatives in review, we thought to stop by). We ordered Chicken Biryani, Goat Harees, Chicken Makhani with naan. The owner, who is also from Hyderabad arranged for Milk Tea (Chai) on our special request.
We placed an order through Grub Hub and ordered chicken tikka masala and chicken Biryani (several other reviews had raved about it so I was excited to try it).The tikka masala was alarmingly dry and the chicken Biryani just tasted like a bunch of spicy mush.I really wanted to like this place because I love Indian food and its near my house, but unfortunately I doubt Ill order from there again.
These guys are really good. Tried many vegetarian dishes like Dahi Poori, Pav Bhanji, Idli, Vada, Mysore Masala Dosai, mango lassi and masala tea ☕️ were all good. The chefs 👨🍳 are using authentic Indian spices and process. The place is also decent and street parking was available.
Fantastic Indian food in the Cleveland area! The Paneer Tikka Masala and Muttar Paneer are two favorites, and the garlic naan is to die for! Although there is space to sit at this restaurant, a lot of people do it as take out. The serving sizes are huge so theres always leftovers for lunch!
I ordered chicken biryani yesterday I will post my experience I have been so hungry after seeing the reviews I ordered two chicken biryanis to go and that is the worst biryani I have ever tasted.I have ever tasted it’s very low-quality and they haven’t gave us Onions or mirchika salan. So reck less and 15$ is a big waste including everything . Friends do not prefer this restaurants biryani.
Major hygiene threat and filthy unregulated and unmonitored eating habits by its customers. The restaurant has a touch of Hyderabad cuisine, which i have heard is really good. Now the part where it all becomes irrelevant; The restaurant allows its customers to not get a fresh plate for refills and literally eat on top of all the food served in the buffet area. The people were eating with their hands and licking their fingers and then touching all the serving spoons. I will give the place a D- on the hygiene and someone from the food safety department should pay them a visit and warn them against a potential outbreak.
Ive been eating Indian food since 2003, and Ive been going to Indian Delight since at least 2012. I love love love their paneer makhani. More importantly, I appreciate that the people whove worked there for a long time recognize me and give it to me the way I like it: Indian hot.Last night was a little frustrating in that the new girl who took my order asked, Are you sure? Thats too hot. Despite me saying, Yes, I get it that way all the time, and the person I was dining with saying, Shes a pro. She can handle it, my dinner arrived mild.I cant spend $12 on a meal all the time, so, dear newbies -- and Indian restaurants in general: When I can afford to treat myself, please dont disappoint me just because I have fair skin and blonde hair. Thank you!Im still giving ID five stars, and I highly recommend the paneer makhani -- Indian hot.
Had the buffet. what was left of it. all but 4 out of 8 dishes were empty. this was an hour and a half before they closed and they were still seating people after us. we were literally scraping the hard corners of the rice dish to scrape some sauce that was left on the bottom of the tray. what was left of the food was over salted and overspiced. i would have ordered a coke had anyone asked me. server never returned to the table after dropping us some naan bread. was there for 45 minutes and no new food was brought out. had to go stand in the doorway to have my check brought to me. did i mention the flies?
I ordered the Palak Paneer, the Palak was bland and there was enough hair in my rice to make a small wig on one of my fingers. I have never been more disgusted with food in my life. I would not recommend this place to anyone, but if you order from here triple check each item before taking a bite.
Food was really good, we tried paneer tikka masala, chicken tikka masala and daal makhani and it was delicious. We ordered spicy that was a mistake coz it was too spicy but thats what we ordered so not their fault. I would have given them 5 but I gave 4 coz the restroom was not clean, hand dryer not working and no paper towels also. Over all I will go again to eat over there and will recommend it to all who likes Indian food...Enjoy...!!!
Worst Food ! Disgusting taste , no sorry what I am saying , tasteless. We ordered Karahi Paneer it was too much watery and we requested spicy so just laal mirch was there nothing else. Paneer was even not tasty and Paneer Pakora i would rather eat regular bhajji from a street vendor.
Great food !!! Probably the best Indian food in Cleveland and its way better than the much hyped Cafe Tandoor if you consider the cost of food. But they should improve on service and include some more variety in the starters section. Chicken biriyani was good and garlic naans were awesome. But I somehow didnot liked the Coolfi, they should improve the recipe. My overall rating will be 8.5/10. Shall I go back .. Oh yes but probably for lunch, as the neighborhood is a bit sketchy place and might not be safe in the night !!!
Ive been to other Indian restaurants around Cleveland, I think this one is a total gem. Its better than any in Cleveland. Their chicken is all white-meat, and trimmed very well. Indian Delight is highly recommended. Im well skeptical, and this place has fully won me over.
Visited the restaurant with my with wife. Very friendly service and very delicious food. My wife is from europe and she enjoyed the authentic homade yogurt that you cant find in the US. We got the neelgiri korma chicken and naan bread mix basket. Price was very reasonable. Only beware if you are not used to Indian food you will be using the resteraunt a lot! If you arent used to spocy food make sure you get yogurt to cool you down!
I wanted one dish, for which I specified mild heat, please. This was so hot, I couldnt taste anything and it was physically painful to eat it.Also, the naan was raw. They clearly neglect the customers who are unable to eat at the restaurant. If their sit-down customer service doesnt translate to ordering out, they shouldnt even bother.
We picked up tray biryani on Friday for birthday party...the whole party went disappointing the biryani was worst ..I could hardly find pieces in a tray of mutton biryani which is worth 130$ ...the quality of rice was not good ..was not fresh at all ....as if he just dumped a pile of rice in a tray as trash with some bone pieces of mutton ...
This place does not put care on food. I ordered from Uber eats and when food arrived looked like they just threw food in the box with out care. Also for Indian food, I would not recommend this. I hope the restaurant put some efforts in serving people and food not just making money with bad food and care.
1st time visit Placed an order of Chicken biryani for pickup during night (4.5 stars)Dont let the appearance fool you...Decor may be shabby but the Biryani isnt...Street Parking might be difficult during peak hours...Service was quick...Taste, aroma and look of Chicken biryani is good as compared to other restaurants around... Quantity excellent, Packing excellent...Would recommend to give boiled egg and salad (onions & lemon) along with Biryani...Dissappointed with my pickup during lunch hours (3 stars)Chicken Biryani was not fresh and Mirchi salan not available during lunch time...Suggest people to visit this place during night to get some fresh food

2022-02-14We just visited for the first time and we are definitely coming back, never before had a tikka masala as red as the one I got here, it was just beautiful. But the taste, omg! I was really impressed, delicious! Big chunks of chicken, creamy sauce, and so tasteful, we loved it. And the naan! It was different, I think this one right here is one of the best.

2021-09-16Wow, what a facelift Indian Delight has gotten! They now operate from both the original room and the storefront to the left. You actually enter from a new door on this left side of the restaurant, which leads to a large open lobby that they have really put to great use in optimizing all of their delivery service options. I give them major kudos for being able to separate the to-go/pick-up/courier area in such an attractive way. Sure, they were not able to add table space, but I think that in-person diners will appreciate the distinct area away from table service, and the avoidance of the confusing pile-up of customers during busy hours. That being said, I get the distinct impression that their business is not nearly as strong for dining in. We had a really nice area with cute updated decor, but paper plates, paper menus, and plastic cups WITH plastic water bottles? My inner environmentalist cringes at all the plastic and disposables when we clearly sat down to enjoy a nice meal on-site.This is even more surprising because everything we ordered was on par with some of the best Indian Ive had here in town. The naan and the samosas could have easily satisfied us for a whole meal, but the Rogan Josh had such yummy tender pieces of lamb we couldnt help ourselves! And our Daal Tadka (yellow lentils) was savory enough to stand alone too. Food Ive gotten from Uber Eats was equally tasty, so the kitchen is on point for sure. Given these wonky times we find ourselves in, I hope ID continues to thrive and they can iron out their to go vs dining. For such a great renovation, they shouldnt undermine themselves with lackluster plating/cutlery.

2021-07-10Our incredible friend Anna took us all the way across town to the most incredible indian restaurant. The Goat Hakeem and the Rogan Josh were outstanding but their Tikka Masala was truly the best! Cannot recommend it highly enough!

2021-12-07I got the lamb palak and 90% of the lamb in there was just pure fat. I dont mean fatty cuts of meat or meat attached to fat -- the pieces were SOLELY fat. The naan and samosas were way greasier than the ones Ive had at other Indian restaurants, and the tiny containers of sauces were not at all conducive to dipping of the samosa. I ended up just eating the spinach (palak) without any of the lamb I paid money for. I will not be getting food from here in the future.

2021-09-02A friend took me out to Indian Delight a couple of years ago, it was divey back then but the food was good. He ordered biryani and a cut mirchi. This time I ordered take out for the family. I ordered the biryani, papri chaat and tried to order the cut mirchi. The staff did not seem to know what the cut mirchi was. Chalk this down to a change in management/ownership? Upon arriving at home after a long drive, we found that the papri chaat is completely messed up! Nothing but dry papad, no chickpeas, sauce, onion, etc. However, Chicken Biryani turned out good and tasted freshly prepared. The manager did say that he will correct the error for us next time

2022-07-12Hands down the best Indian food I have had in a long time. I was a little skeptical on the drive here passing through the area, but the restaurant did not disappoint. The service was phenomenal; not only were we seated right away but the service was very quick as well. The food tastes authentic and the restaurant atmosphere is great. Muneeb, the manager, came out to talk to us and provided great reccomendations. I would definitely recommend you try their food.

2022-04-12We placed our order in person on 4/12/22. The restaurant is clean & someone was available to take our order right away. I ordered the Samosa (2) in an order, Biryani (I got chicken & shrimp) & garlic naan. All the food was hot, tasty, well seasoned & great portions! The only thing I would change is the thickness of the sauces as mine were watery. Other than everything was great & we will be returning! Thank you.

2021-07-11Decent place for a quick bite. Ordered Bhel Puri, Samosa Chat, and Haleem. Taste was okay. Service wasn’t bad. Place looked clean. Everything is served in plastic containers, even for dine in.

2022-06-21Pathetic Experience. Food was tasteless. Ordered a family platter, butter chicken was more RED than the color red & had 0 flavor. Chicken Biryaani was also equally tasteless. Completely disappointed and never coming back. The person taking the order was unfriendly and didnt like answering many questions.

2022-06-19We ordered 2 biryani lunch boxes, Veg lunchbox and chicken lunch. I’ll never order chicken or Veggie lunch box, it’s the worst. One of chicken curries in it is just curry made with too much of food color. Biryani lunch box is good. We also ordered double la Meeta dessert which is one of the worst of its kind, it had oil instead of ghee.
