I experienced the most amazing service I have ever received! Shari, our waitress, was so attentive and made sure all of our party got everything we needed and more. She went out of her way to bring extra things that we chatted about between ourselves!!Thank you, Shari, for the AMAZING service!!!!
Food was good, service lacking badly. Went in and placed an order for just myself, eggs and pancakes. A couple comes in and sits down 2 minutes after I order, another guy almost 20 minutes after I ordered. There was no other patrons in the restaurant. The solo guy gets his eggs and waffle a few seconds before the couple. Five minutes later I get my food to go
This may have been my worst IHOP experience. We were sat to a wet table, my daughter ordered a coke and got a coffee, the misses didnt get a spoon to stir her coffee. Actually we didnt receive silverware at all, once the food came out I had to wait for the waitress to come back and explain we got our food but no silverware. Once she came back she brought us take out plastic silverware packets. We then waited another 10 minutes for the misses to get the French toast she had ordered and when we didnt get syrup we were again given packets of take out syrup, when there were tables with the syrup containers all around. This was not a good experience in the least bit this time around. I am giving the additional star because I understand this has not been my normal experience but for this time the 2 is warranted.
I love IHOP. The food is really good, but a common negative thing I have found in the three locations I have visited so far in the Columbus area, is the lack of cleanliness... tables are often dirty even when there are no people at the table anymore, and the restaurants were not even full... I think workers are a bit lazy in that sense, or the administration does not care enough about this aspect. We also had glasses at this location that were not so clean... Please, improve that!!! It is so important and the opposite shows a lack of respect for clients...
My son chose this restaurant for his birthday meal. We experienced the worst service ever. There was only two other tables with 2 people each at them. We waited 15 minutes for someone to take our drink order, then another hour to get our food. My wifes grilled cheese came out ungrilled. The cheese wasnt even warm. Our appetizers came out after the main course started being served. It was a pitiful experience. I watched many other guests arrive and wait to be seated, but no one helped them so they left.
Came in there yesterday with my partner. He asked for two orders of hash browns, mine was included in my meal. He was brought one, and when we asked for the other one within a minute the waitress was back with it. My partner sent them back because he thought they tasted old. Within another 2 minutes the waitress brought two more and he didnβt like those either but we still payed for them. Fast forward 12 hours and I have food poisoning. I donβt know what went wrong within the establishment but I will not be back.
Good food and a very busy server. Im pretty sure there was only one waitress working, but she was very friendly. The food came quickly and was good.The place was creepily empty. At one point we were the only people in the restaurant. I am not sure why and it was very odd since other nearby restaurants were quite busy.
The food was great we have no complaints on the food. The shift seemed completely understaffed and the staff on shift was playing in the kitchen and not focused on customers. We waited about 20 mins to be seated. We arrived at 10:51pm and due to such a slow service we are just getting the check at 12:39am. The manager presence was only to pop out and awkwardly take photos of each table which wasnt explained. On my opinion seems to need a change up at this location in order to receive to proper staffing needed. The only good thing here was a single worker named server 136katherin not sure exactly how much work she had to do this night but she worked hard.
I wouldnt even give this place a 1 star , its more like -5.Save yourself a trip and gas, by far the worst ihop I have ever been too, the fact that when you order a hamburger with no cheese and they bring out a cheeseburger, order eggs that wasnt even cooked right or cooked at all for the most part. When they did take the burger back they completely forgot to bring out the onion rings after waiting 10-15, we are ready to leave they bring out the onion rings that you could ring out/ dripping grease. Just save the gas go somewhere else , somewhere that is worth the money, and has better service!!!!
I came in waiting to be seated. The tenant said it would take 15 to 20 minutes. I was OK with that but then it became 30 minutes. Not only that since I was one party I got skipped over customers who came after me with two or more parties. I was forgot about so I left hungry π
Do not go to this location late night. I dont care if you dine in, take it to go, or call ahead a to go order. It still will take an hr to get your food. Always only 1 cook and 1 server and there is no one at the front counter. The server will be in the back making eye contact with you but still wont come out from hiding. The last 3 time of coming here I literally stood at the front counter waiting for my to go order that I called ahead 30 mins prior to arriving and still stood there nearly 30 mins and the server standing in the kitchen looking at me. I had to call IHOP while standing there just for the server to come out of hiding to take our money and to give us our food. Mind you we were the only 2 people in the entire store other than the server and the cook. π‘π‘π‘π€π€―ππππππππππππππππππ
If it was a thing of no stars that is what I would give them. There is always along time to wait to be seated or pick up an order. There was an Uber eats person that was waiting before I arrived and still was waiting after I got seated. They are always under staffed. I figured if they paid more they wouldnβt be under staffed. The experience at this ihop I would rather go to Waffle House and I donβt like Waffle House. I donβt recommend this ihop to no one.
Food was cold all around; we ate it because we were starving at the time. Strawberries and the syrup on my wifes French Toast was ice cold like came out of the freezer cold. My omelet was meh and the hashbrowns were terrible.Server was somewhat nice talked to her maybe twice and got our order right so thats a plus but not enough to raise it up to a 2 star.
Food is always great; lets not discredit iHop for lack of taste. SCORE: 10/10Taking one star due to being seated and our waitress and/or waiter was unable to introduce themselves to us for a full 35-40 minutes. People who were seated after us had their drinks and orders placed.Additionally, another star has been revoked due to finding out a waitress from another area took on our table because our assigned waitress couldnt manage her assigned tables.Do I blame our original waitress? Absolutely not. However, I place blame on the management and establishment.Would I come back to iHop? Absolutely. Why? I picked the wrong day to go. For this reason, I am giving a star back. For me to pass judgment, I must consider all the circumstances. I was in the wrong place at the wrong time to have optimimal service, I expect when dining out. I went in on a Sunday morning. Presumably, after many church services released their members. It was where my family wanted to enjoy breakfast together on Sunday morning. How would my future visits look? Spent $35.35 this past Sunday to be seen by a waitress twice. Once to take our order and once to bring the subpar food to the table, thats it. My burger tasted institutional and generic. My wife ordered a Colorado omelet she said sucked. We just went here to meet a friend and thought we might as well eat and that was our 2nd mistake. The first one was going here in the first place! A mistake my wife and I will never make again. Knock the whole store down and try again IHOP
We got sitted down and it took like 10 minutes to have our Waitress to take our drink order. After that we got our food served and the hashbrowns were over cooked and before we could take a bite she put our bill down and ran off without asking us if we needed refills or if our food was good.
Employee took my phone in order incorrectly, when I asked for a refund, they recharged my card for the correct order EVEN THOUGH I ASKED FOR A REFUND . then proceeded to charge me sales tax on the ccood that was carry out. When I explained that that was incorrect and provided them info from the State Tax Department, they stated they charge sales tax for everything... then when asked for a manager, they told me that Oscar was at Walmart... this place is so unprofessional and ghetto... never again!

We came on their anniversary so I got a stack of 3 pancakes for 59Β’. I also got a glass of water. Totaling 0.63Β’. We were seated immediately and only waited about 10 minutes for out food. I only got pancakes but my friends purchase pancakes, sausage, eggs, and bacon. When we were seated it was shift change and the transition was flawless. I was very pleased with the service and customer care.
For the love of everything sacred, with only 3 parties seated in the entire restaurant, why does it take 30+ minutes to get your order? This isnt unique to this location. Every IHOP in central Ohio is the same. I wouldnt dream of stopping here if there are more than three cars in the parking lot, unless youve got the whole day to burn.21 Dec 19 UPDATE Nothing has changed. Once again, three tables seated, still 30 minutes to get food. My Ham and Sausage omelet was brought to the table missing everything it was supposed to have in it. It was eggs, with a sprinkling of sausage and ham. Pictures posted.
When we went it was pretty dead as far as people but we had great service and our food was absolutely fantastic exactly what we wanted. We got the bbq burger with the onion rings on it. We also got an order of the strawberry crepes to go. Which was still so good later, I aint gonna lie. Totally worth the trip and great when you just dont know what you want.
Dont bother going here! They are terrible! They did not put the cream into my crepes! My food sat for 20 minutes so it was cold by the time we got it. Half the staff was stoned with blood shot eyes. I will never go to this location ever again!!! I would have given this 0 stars if possible.
The wait on the food is rediculous long 40 min on breakfast food only 3 table of customers n a few Togo orders. Get the food check the bag n missing a whole order. Im confused bc breakfast orders never take that long ever especially with how less of customers was there. Over cooked food n crepes wasnt promising considering the vanilla cream was non existent
After waiting 15 minutes in the lobby not one employee came from the back only the guy mopping the floor was there I asked if they were open all he said was yes. Did not offer to get someone to seat us or anything. After another 5 minutes I had to go to the kitchen door and ask if they were open finally a manager I believe seated me at a table. That wasnβt even clean. Mind you itβs 730 am and noone i. The restaraunt so has this table been dirty since yesterday. This is the same experience every time u come to this place. Will not come back will go to scrambler or teejays from now on.
We had to wait nearly 5 minutes to be greeted even though one associate walked right by us twice. There were no clean empty tables so once a table was decided on the manager had to ask others, either on a break or just chilling out, where the cleaning supplies were. Then our table was cleaned. Once seated, almost 5 minutes passed by and we were about to leave, the waitress said shed be right back to get our order. Order was taken, food arrived in a timely manner. Everything was prepared as ordered. Service was fine. The atmosphere needed help a lot due to the fact they were cleaning tables only as they needed them. The manager became available to seat us and then disappeared. I hope this isnt the new normal.
The most unprofessional, disrespectful staff Iβve ever encountered. Arguing and cursing in the back so loud all the customers can hear in the dining room. Phone one the counter without the line in it. If I could give negative stars I would. There is no management staff handling any kind of business in this restaurant.
Was about half full when we got there. All seemed well. Until we were still waiting for our food 40 minutes later, at which time our friendly server said our ticket was 4th. As in 3 more ahead of us to get our food. We mulled it over and left. Figured if it took that long to make some pancakes and bacon, whatever was in that back kitchen would probably disgust us. Also by then the phone ringing the entire time was enough to drive anyone crazy. They literally never answered it. Should have just turned the ringer off if that was the case. Wont be back.
We took our 10 month old for her very first experience out at a restaurant; which could have very quickly became a nightmare for everyone involved. But even knowing the potential s#*! show we walked in the door with, the staff was incredibly welcoming, kind, and accommodating.Was the highchair strap sticky and covered in what I could only guess was a mix of old syrup and baby drool? -Yepp.Would I let my daughter eat food directly off the table? -Probably not.BUT did she have a great first experience aided by our understanding and quick-to-respond waitresses and the cooks? -Absolutely! π
Ill never go back to this location again. Sloppy dishes and unclean silverware. Very culterly divided.. I can only imagine what goes on behind those kitchen doors. Waiting area smells like the urinals witch was really unsettling our appetites. The disses we ordered were barely distinguishable from the pictures in the menue, just look at the photos.....
It took a little while to get I order the food was good we went on a Sunday and I believe there were a lot of teenager and training so they need to get their tiny together so the other workers dont pull double in cleaning and delivering food senior workers were working as fast as they could to show them and keep up also with mortars so I will get there at 4 star what that
Food was good. Service was horrible. The restaurant wasnβt even half full capacity for people dining in. Our servers name was Sarah. She passed our table with empty water water glasses four times before refilling our waters. Since we ordered the combo meals with bottomless pancakes, we asked for more and it took about ten minutes just for our second round of pancakes. When we gave her payment (MasterCard) for our meals, we watched her walk around with it for 5 minutes.. going back to the kitchen several times to chat and laugh with what looked to be a manager. He was dressed up and wearing sunglasses, probably recovering from a hangover. Very unprofessional staff. Never returning to this ihop! Bye
This is the worst ihop ever, my family and I went there today and we had to wait one hour to be called to sit and we had to wait over an hour to get our meals. To my surprise the picture below was what was served to me. The fish was into pieces and the food was cold. The workers will be standing there not saying anything to you but will be staring at your face through the kitchen window. Bad customer service.
It was Christmas day. I was going to order online but it was turned off. Instead I had to call in my order. When I asked about their website, I was told it was because were slammed with orders. When I arrived to pickup my order, I was told it wasnt ready yet. There were several people waiting to be seated. I looked around the restaurant and saw plenty of tables available. After waiting about 15 minutes, I received my order. I checked it out prior to leaving and saw I was missing an item. I mentioned it to them and was told they were out of that item. The woman apologized and offered a substitute, saying to me they should had automatically given the substitute. I was told they were short staffed. As for the food, it was okay but needed reheating once I home.
We wait to sitting (no one was at the front) we wait for take order for drinks, we wait for our food, in total we spend almost 2 hours waiting, we eat in 20 min. We never see a manager on the front! Also the restaurant was not full, probably 25% of the tables was occupied. Our server explained to us, they have a problem with the printer and the order never came out...for 3 tables they we notice. One table left so upset. Really needs to put more attention to the POS system, improve your equipment. Definitely we will not coming back. We love it, but we have more options too.
Amazing location. Iβm a regular along with my boyfriend but we prefer to go shen Sandee is our server and Derrick is the cook. They are unbeatable together. Sandeeβs pleasant demeanor and kindness, mixed with her adorable accent just makes you feel right at home; alongside Derrickβs quick and DELICIOUS cooking... you canβt go wrong. The food is delicous, service is amazing. What more can you ask for?I only posted one picture because I usually take snapchat videos of our meals... lol!
The bathrooms was in need of attention & when I told manager, she said that she would look into it. Well I didnt need her to look into it, I just needed her to take care of it. Poor management π π‘ I spent over $150.00 & some change, to much for a manager to tell me, that she will look into it. It was 5 of us & we all thought that was kinda rude of her. I would have, felt better if she would have lied to me - like Ill take care of it or Ill get someone on it. I would have appreciated if she said something like that. We was there around September 6th, 2021 around 12:30pm - 1pm. We left around 2-3pm. My times might be off a little. Our waitress & her Service was great. βΊ
Horrible experience. First let me clarify that there are alot of staff visible but somethings wrong with getting food up and out. 30min wait on cold pancakes??My wait staff worked hard and was apologetic. Coffee pot is disgusting with a manager catching an attitude because the table she sat us at was still dirty with grits or something. Im never coming back here again.

Waited about 10 minutes at the front lobby and was never seated. It took almost 5 minutes for someone to even acknowledge that we were there. When someone did finally acknowledge us, she stated they would be with us in a minute. I told her we had been standing there for a while and I asked was there not a host available. She answered by saying βno we are short-staffedβ no apologies or anything, just went on with whatever she is doing. It really isnβt that hard to sit someone at a table even if there isnt a host. Someone else came from out the back and said the same thing, that they would seat us shortly. We ended up just leaving after that to go to First Watch. Poor customer service. This location used to be so nice.
I am a huge iHop fan, however, this location has gone down hill over the course of a year or so. The quality of food isnt the same, there is an odor that reeks from the bathroom into the dining room area and the portions sizes are smaller. The staff is nice & friendly considering the work environment.
IHOP has been exciting since it came to central Ohio. This location was very clean and had friendly staff. It was oddly quite on Thursday night. Food was great at it was less than $30 for 3 people. I hope people continue to patronize this chain. In this time of epic inflation its amazing to find cheaper prices.
The burgers are bland, fries were good, milkshake was good as well, the crepes were alright( not what I expected) the French toast was pretty good. They forgot to give my friend his onion rings. First time here cause we wanted to try something new and its not what we expected. Probably would only come for breakfast. Customer service was good, the lady was very sweet!
My wife and I stood at the counter for 15 minutes and not one person came to seat us, acknowledge us or even the other 6 customers that came in after us. Upon approaching the restaurant there was a young lady cleaning the dining area but she disappeared when we all came in and didnt come back out until we all decided to leave. Very poor service. Very Disappointing!!! The time was around 10pm on 07/31/21 if the story would like to they can check the cameras. And YES they are 24 hours as well.
If I were you, Id pass on this location.To start, I waited up front for 10 ten minutes after being looked at without any acknowledgment. I counted 5 sat tables, that is unacceptable to not even been greeted. Upon being sat, the server did come quickly and was somewhat friendly. The servers shirt was DISGUSTING!!!!!!!!! As a server of many years, I understand messes happen throughout a shift but this particular shirt was so foul, I couldnt even look up at the server. Food was good, I cant lie. Service was so/so. My order came wrong, had to wait for the correction AND syrup for the pancakes that did arrive when the food was initially dropped. The restaurant itself seemed unclean. All and all, myself and guest were disappointed. I wouldnt return here by any means. Management needs to step their game up expeditiously!!!
How can you be seated FIRST. Then have 2 other parties seated and take their order, full order. Drinks on the table and food ordered, but weve been here for 20 minutes. Theres about 7-9 people in the back doing who knows what, of the company allows this habit to continue this IHOP will be out of business in no time. Sad to see one of my main to go places go down like this. Waffles were hard, silverware was disgusting, eggs and pancakes not cooked right. Curbside pick up is SO SLOW. ITS like impossible to order. One could go inside nd et the entire meal pay and else before curbside gets an order. Omg. And no one is here I have no idea why the Roger isnt out. Ive ordered bout 5 times to go over the year and this will have to be the last time. My children re very patient but they say the food is not coming omg weve been in the car 30 mins past pick up time
Ashley was hands down the best waitress. We were seated by someone else, with milk covered menus. Ashley quickly cleaned the mess at the table and got us fresh menus. Our food was served quickly and Ashley was great at keeping up with the 6+ tables she had. She was also the only waitress I saw in the dinning room working. She was very friendly. Honestly, after seated with milk covered menus and at a dirty table, we had planned on leaving to go somewhere else. Because of Ashley is why we stayed. π
Staff very friendly, the tres leche pancakes/OJ/hot chocolate are delicious but the rest was a wash. My food wasnβt warm other than the cakes. The sausages are obviously pre cooked? Bacon tasted like it had been sitting in a warmer. The gravy isnβt good, just a gravy mix, not real gravy.The prices of this stuff is going up - it should be a real breakfast then. Fresh sausages, real gravy, things not hard to make.Again, service great though. Food expectation versus price needs work.
Staff was very pleasant. Our waitress was very nice. Sat down, our table was sticky, not cleaned off very well. Brought it to the waitress attention, she immediately moved us and apologized. From the outside looking in, I can see the location has opportunity staffing wise. Couple of the booth seats were broken. Tables not being cleaned off right away/dirty. Phones ringing off the hook, never saw anyone pick up a phone. No one at the front counter. At a given moment, saw 7 people standing waiting for assistance. Speed is impaired due to staffing issues. Good people work here I can tell. They just need some help! That would fix many things so the team doesnt have to work so hard. This is a usual spot for me.
Waited for ever for service. When I finally got up to go get some one . I saw they were all in the back with the mgr playing music, dancing around just carrying on as if there was a house party. Other people came in stood at the front waiting to be seated. I told them they needed to get them as they were all in the back. Never go back my order was wrong had to ask for everything such as catchup for frys syrup for pancakes refill on coffee not the first time this place was like this.Gave it a second chance once never again!!!
This place sucks every time I come here. If youβre looking for a place for breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner does not matter do not waste your time coming here. As a customer and as a door dasher, the hosts have never been organized and have had terrible customer service, they clearly do not have proper training. It will take you over an hour to get your food every time. I donβt know why I keep coming back.
We hadnt gone to IHOP since before the COVID lockdown. Our trip reminded us why we hadnt visited since. The customer service was absolutely atrocious. We had to ask for items multiple times. The food looked horrible (my steak was almost grey) and the Mt Dew had lost its carbonation. We absolutely wont be going back anytime soon.
Stoped at ihop 2413 Taylor Sq, rdreynoldsburg, Ohio 43068I have eaten here many of times.But today July 7 2019 had to be the worse ever. Got there 2:05Got waited 2:30, ordered food.Got food 3:05.Now someone had a birthday down from us. 7 girls came out of kitchen. To sing.But yet they wait on me, when THEY get time., just why do they have a Manager, when THE. WORKERS tell the MANAGER what they will do. And a worker, cleaned a table off close to us. Brushed all the garbage on the floor. So everybody walking by could step in it. Or maybe slip and fall on it.This is how managers teach the workers. I shall take IHOP OFF my restaurants to eat at.
Food was good, but the service was sssssssllllllllllllloooooooooooooooooowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww! Probably because the employees were to busy talking amongst themselves instead of working? I mean, it took 20 minutes and a customer to come and ASK ME has anyone come to take my order! Then, I was told it would be 20-30 minute wait, in which I waited another 30-40... maybe I should have waited at waffle house huh? Oh, and before you ask, it was probably more employees than it was actual customers, so again, they were to busy talking than working. Idk, just saying.
Very dissatisfied, came for breakfast on a Saturday morning, the dining area was not busy at all, many open tables and booths. My family of 6 waited in the lobby for 30 minutes and was told after asking that they still didnβt have a timeframe even though 7 groups of 3-5 people came in after and were seated immediately.
Everytime I pick up my food inside or curb side, the staff is always very friendly and pleasant. Food had always been ready on time. The strawberry crepes and maple candied bacon are amazing. The scrambled egg burrito bowls with salsa, sour cream and hashbrowns are also great. One of my favorite breakfast spots.
We love IHOP and our local one closed during the pandemic so we stopped at this one when we were out of town. It was awful, food was cold and service was so slow. There were maybe 6 customers and it took over an hour. I got water and there was a bug in it so I had to ask for a new one. And the silverware was dirty, had to ask for new. We were told the washers sometime dont do a good job. Seriously!
I ordered breakfast, and the food was decent. But the coffee was really bad. The first cup tasted burnt and I let the server know. The second cup, was somehow worse. The service wasnβt bad but with only two other families in the building, things couldβve gone better.
The wait to pick up the order was ridiculous. I showed up right when the order was due to be ready and it took them an additional 15 minutes to bring out my order. They had only 1 customer in the establishment so there should have been no reason for the delay.. I live right around the corner and then of top of it my food was cold/undercooked. Definitely should not be the case since they said the delay was due to the food still being prepared.
Disappointed. I was looking forward in having brunch since its been a while that we ate there. We got there at 1030 seated immediately and was given our drinks by the nice waitress. 1130 came and our order was nowhere in sight, so we just left. One thing for sure, I will never go back to any IHOP again. That was the worst experience, and they were not even busy. I do not recommend this place at all.
Our group eats here every week. We entered the store at 355 am. Place was empty. We need to sit at the big table. Server says she has to mop the floor where the big table is. 20 mins later, floor still not mopped and we remain sitting in lobby. Usually things are great here. Today was not
Ill never eat here again. Food was horrible and took way to long I pre-ordered online and it wasnt ready til 15 minutes after the pick-up time. Furthermore, the food was awful. I blame the staff when nobody cares about their job it really drags the quality of the place to the ground. I honestly think they should just close shop on this one. It making IHOP look horrible.
Ihop is still in the re-opening for inside dining. Most business is takeout still. Store is hiring all positions and it shows. The food was good but service is lacking. The whole menu is printed on two sides of letter sized paper in micro type. Hopefully in a few weeks the indoor dining staff will return and the full menus.
I used to loved this place!! And now I would never come back to this restaurant again, I would stop all my friends and family to come to this place.....Today, my 3 year-old asked me to take her to eat pancakes and I told her we can got to IHOP the have the best pancakes... I really regretted taking her there. the whole experience was horrible, I wait 20 mins to get my drinks, (coffee and glass water) Then I have to asked the waiter to take my order. ....then wait 35 minutes to get my order taken. Then I wait 50 mins to get my food finally..... I was so disappointed....my food was so cold and dry... (spicy fajita, scrambled egg, sausage and pancakes). The eggs was so dry up was, my daughter pancakes barely have a sauce they were all dry and nasty.....I pay my bill and asked to speak with the manager... I wait more the 10 mins he or she never showed up.... I finally I walk out of the restaurant... it seem like the manager doesnβt care....
My mom ordered curb side pick up and weβve been sitting in the parking lot for almost two hours once it hits 12:40 P.M. No one should have to wait for their food for over an hour. Just because yβall are busy donβt mean yβall delay people. Yβall must need more workers.π³
My family and I went here for the first time yesterday. I have never had worse service or food. My eggs were half raw, my wifes steak had some burnt marinade or bbq sauce (with her steak and egg combo). Then she asked for some steak sauce and got bbq sauce lol. My combo was supposed to have all you could eat pancakes and I got the 2 that came with the meal period. All the patrons had to wait because door dash order had to go out first some people was there before us. The waiter never even offered a refill overall worst place I ate that I can remember. But in all fairness their pancakes were good maybe stick to what you know . Also free pancake coupons dont work please dont waste your time and money here as I did.

I loved this restaurant when I was little, but when this whole virus started, I think it got worse, the service wasnt really great food came out late and. Wasnt really good, my mom and dads food came out good, but mine came out not so great did knock in any dipping sauce. Silverware wasnt that great either other restaurants like TJs or max, and Ermas we get like silverware, not plastic
5 minutes before asked about drinks (after being seated). Finally got food and no condiments or napkins. Had to get up and walk to someone in another area of the store. Top it off... social distancing- I dont think they understand what that means. Not returning, but food portions were decent and flavorful
Made an online order for my work and had the WORST experience. They claimed that my food was already delivered by doordash but I ordered on iHops site for pick up. When my coworker arrived to pick it up they were rude and dismissive about them loosing our order. The person working said what do you want me to do, remake the food?.....um yes, thats exactly what you do when the order is prepaid. When I called to speak to the manager no one answered the phone, i was then put on hold for almost 40 mins. I hung up because I couldnt wait any longer.I made this order for a group of people with special needs that are on a schedule and need to eat at a certain time. I ordered the food an hour and 15 mins before I needed it to make sure they had enough time to make the food.If youre on a schedule for lunch do not go here, and dont expect good customer service either.
This place was super slow. I wasnt even sure if they had a manager. When we first came in the door it wasnt busy at all. A waitress walked by and completely ignored us when she walked by again and we asked if we could be seated she pretended to not hear us but then turns back around and said someone will be with you with a very bad attitude. Someone did come and she was nice and friendly and she was either super slow or the kitchen was slow but our food came out 40 minutes later. The eggs and pancakes were both cold. We were super disappointed but didnt complain because we had someplace to be and it would have taken more time to get someone to speak with us. This is not the first bad experience weve had there. π
We left after 1 hour and 15 minutes. Our order had been in for over an hour and we still did not have food. Our server did not check on us except once the first 5 minutes. We had our kids including a 15 month old. We had asked for silverware (as we were short ) and never got it. it We finally asked for the check to pay the drinks and cancel our food. Then magically our food was ready but everyone was in the car They voided everything and we left. Never was told they were sorry just that they would try to catch up.
I dont recommend this place for breakfast. The food was prepared as well as any other iHop Ive visited however, it seems this place is perpetually understaffed. The service was slow, and they werent too particularly attentive. Dont let my bad review hold anyone from going though, my experiences may have just been a few times.

Rough time during our visit to IHOP. Long line to get seated only to sit and wonder if we had been forgotten. After about 20 minutes our server showed up for food order and had not yet gotten drink orders. We rolled with the punches and ordered. The people behind us flagged down a manager demanding someone else serve them as they were experiencing the same we had with the server ignoring them for 20 minutes. That caused a fiasco that slowed things down further. Fast forward to food showing up and drinks finally, our sweet teas tasted like dish water. Only time in my life Ive ever sent back a drink for being terrible. Food was meh, refills non-existent and my son went to check with the front counter about whether we payed at the table or not because our server was nowhere to be found. Definitely not happy with this location, theres too many great alternative breakfast options available to endure stuff like this.
I ordered the family pancake feast for curbside pickup. It was packaged well and traveled well I had a about an 8min ride home. Everything was warm and looked good but they forgot the Holiday sprinklers to go with it. I also ordered 2 sides of fruit. The one was only honeydew melon no other fruit the other was honeydew with 2pieces of pineapple and a grape. I was a little π in that.
Horrible I went their and waited over 25 min for my food after 25 min wait and my child was so hungry first they mistake n bring out somebody else food then take it back and even gave everybody they food before us.horrible service no one even checked on us they could have at least brought my baby food out he only got eggs n sausage. IHOP staff was very pleasant and personable. They were kind and helpful. The food was delicious (as always). The only things keeping them from getting 5 stars, were their tables were sticky, and the big stall in the ladies restroom wont lock, or stay closed. Other than that, this was a perfect visit.
I was at the store at 256 Reynolds Berg Ohio and the food was cold,had to wait a long time for it mostly the service was very poor. Thay need to be trained.me and my family payed to much for that kind of service π not happy,going,telling all my family and friends π
We walked in and waited at least 10 minutes to be seated. There were no servers on the floor and you could see them in the kitchen standing around. There were maybe 5 families in the whole restaurant. Once we were sat the server was very disinterested, we ordered drinks and waited almost 20 minutes before we decided to take our business elsewhere. Completely unacceptable.
First, our server was amazing. Super attentive and remembered our order without writing it down. The food was meh; okay at best. Nothing I would run back tomorrow or the next week to try again. The floors needed major attention (clean up and repairs-especially in the lobby and waiting area). Just seemed very worse for wear. I dont know, just not what I expect from a well known chain/franchise. To paraphrase I would say, do better. There are way too many other options in Columbus/Reynoldsburg/Pickerington/Canal
If I could give them a 0 star rating I would. Years ago this location was a welcoming facility. My past two times at this location have been terrible experiences (both within the past week). I visited at two different times of the day, one late at night around 12am, and today, around 4pm. My first visit, they were short staffed, orders took forever to come including beverages. Food portions did not equate to what was pictured in the menu. Waitress was kind, but the lack of customer service is reflected as a business. Today during our visit, our waitress had 5 tables to take care of herself. Other tables were as frustrated as we were. Again, long wait times, no refills offered, when we asked for things such as ketchup, missing items from our originally ordered meals...or another beverage.. they were never brought. We are even waiting for our check as I type this review. And they seem to be βbetterβ staffed today. But again a vast reflection of poor customer service and lack of customer care. I only came on this visit due to invitation, and as expected, REGRETTED! I plan to never visit this location again unfortunately.
I took my family there this morning for breakfast, 19 to be exact, the service was awesome, the food was delivered hot and fresh. I called the day before to let them know of the party arrival and time, I showed up early and they were ready for us. The regional manager was there and was on it, thank you so much.
I just left after standing there for 5 min. I can see a red hair waitress talking to another lady about how much money they made off of tables but not one comes out to help me. To be more in depth the red hair lady stated she made $17 off of a table but then only made $8 off another. Nobody was in the restaurant. Time after time it is either horrible customer service or my order is wrong. Stop giving discounts out and just fix the customer experience and staff. So until thatβs done Iβm taking my money to Cracker Barrel, Bob Evans, or First Watch cause clearly yβall havenβt gathered that your not the only Breakfast place in the area. Iβll go to Wendyβs or McDonaldβs before I come back.
Every time Iβve came here Iβve had to wait 30 plus minutes for food. I understand they get busy so I just started ordering it to go. First time I tried to call they put me on hold for 5 minutes, I had to take a call on the other line so I called back. They put me on hold again and hung up. After about 3 more attempts I finally got to place my order...I called at 8:50 am. She told me it would be about 15 minutes. I knew they were going to take way longer. So I at least gave them 30 min. It is now 9:43 am still not ready. I told the waitress at the front desk and she just frowned and said wow, then continued to fold paper menus. By the way, still havenβt got my food. I usually donβt leave bad reviews but they definitely deserved it.
The food was greasy and the eggs overcooked. The handicap restroom was out of order. The floors were dirty. We had our 88 year old mother in law with us and she ordered pancakes . They gave her 3 pancakes on a saucer. How do you butter and cut apancake on a saucer. When we complained to the waitress she said shed get the manager for us . Guess what he never appeared. What a waste of good money. Bad food, no restroom for an elderly woman, and no one you can even complain to. All in all a total waste.
Back to the east side and Ive been really wanting my favorite build your own omelette and also it was my goddaughter/nieces birthday so we had a great time thank you even though it did take a while for us to get our food I understand the establishment was probably short sad there were about five families what about five or more people in each group so I understand but still thank you for a beautiful day
For our first ever negative review, this was well deserving. We travel a good bit and have to say this was the worst case scenario. .. aside from being seated promptly, everything else was not acceptable. Our server could have cared less we existed .. our food came out like warm at best after a near half hour wait with less than 4 booths and over 6 servers standing around. The food ordered did not come out correct. Missing items and literally just wanted to leave. Im only posting this in Hope it was an off night and maybe they can correct this. As a chain resturant they are all different this is only this location. I hope the management sees posts like this and tries to address some of the issues. We did not complain nor ask for our order fixed. The while environment was bad enough we just paid and left.
The seating time was great and so were the servers, the only thing that would have made the experience even greater was the food being served quicker. They were short staffed and there were no table Busters. A family of 4 whod been seated before we arrived waited an hour after getting their orders taken and left before receiving food because the wait was so long. We were seated immediately and expected our visit would be fine but no. Our waitress came over right away and took our drink order and brought them right out, then took our order. Im not exaggerating when I say it took over 50 minutes and in that 50 minutes I did not see our waitress once to ask for another drink or ask about our food. Keep in mind it was just me and my husband. Once she brought our food out she seemed extremely flustered which I figured was due to the restaurant being under staffed and I made no complaints as she practically slammed our plates on the table. Food was good though.
This is the worst restaurant ever. The curbside pick up line is always busy and the staff doesnβt pick up the phone when you call to let them know that youβre there. At the lobby, people are waiting but inside the restaurant there are several empty tables. They are understaffed and the manager there is obviously not doing his/her job. Ive visited IHOPs in several states on a Saturday... Theyre ALWAYS super packed & super busy. I mean thats expected in my opinion. Im visiting a friend in the Columbus area... Decided to stop by & order take out. It was super packed & busy but my order was ready in 20 minutes. After checking my order for accuracy (an absolute must with ANY food order for me) I paid & happily left! My food was fresh, delicious & filling π. Experience was terrible. Had only one waitress when we arrived whom had been working since 7am. (We had arrived at 12am). Restaurant was full of people with no one helping her until about 12:30am which is when we finally placer our order. Mind you they had no burgers, onion rings, salad, ice cream, potatoes and several other items. The food was not good. Whomever, is managing this store needs to be fired. The girls working were doing their best with what they had but the incompetence of this franchise owner and management is astonishing to let this happen. Do not go here and avoid at all costs.
This is the absolute worst I-Hop! My son and I waited 5 minutes to be sat in a restaurant where on 3 tables were occupied. After being sat, we waited 10 minutes for our additional party to appear. While waiting, not one server came to our table to take our drink order or see if we needed anything. After the other members of our party arrived, we sat another 10 minutes without a server approaching us to take our order. So we got up and left. It is intersesting that even though staff saw us leaving they still didnt try to engage. During our 25 minutes waiting for service, we could here lots of laughing coming from the kitchen. No wonder this I-Hop never has any business. Even on a night where there are only 4 tables, a customer can not get good service. I will never return to this location. To many other good restaurants who care about providing good service.
Just wanted to update, we decided to try again. It was dinner time, not after hours, similar experience. But after waiting to have someone even come get a sub order while everyone working hung out in the back chit chatting we left and went next door to olive garden. We had good in the came account of time we had waited without drinks at ihop.... dont waste your time let this one fail.Waited 45 minutes for water 2 hours to order, another hour to get out food, after waiting this long, and the restaurant being fully aware they had a problem, we were still charged full price. The original waitress never even brought us drinks or took our order we had to stop the wattress from the other side who was taking orders for people who came in an hour after us, she was cooking and serving tables, literally the girl was the only one doing anything to ensure people were getting food. She was the only pain to apologize to us for the ridiculous wait. This girl should be managing the place.

Bathrooms were filthy, there was maybe 15 patrons in the restaurant besides myself husband and daughter and it took forever to get seated and forever to order and to get our food. Our waitress was super sweet and was trying. Not sure if it was a staffing issue or what there were 3 other servers we saw but just not a good experience.
I overheard the staff mention that only half the cooks showed up on a Sunday morning I was expecting a cold breakfast at best. However even when crowded it moved very quickly and I didnt hear any complaints. My food was warm and fantastic. They must have an excellent management staff for it to flow effortlessly under pressure.
Walked in and right back out. There was no customers there yet the entire place was a mess. Food and trash on the floor under almost every table, including the one we were sat at. The table and chairs were sticky and the bathroom was filthy. Iβm not sure what the employees were doing if they had no tables to wait, but they definitely werenβt cleaning. You would think with everything going on that places would be extra clean, not the opposite.
Waitress Anne is so sweet and professional. While the restaurant was kind of unorganized, people were walking out etc, Anne maintained our table well and made the experience great. There was another waitress running around trying to tend to alot of tables while 2 other waiters were standing in the corner talking like people werent waiting to be seated or needed help.
First trip there on New years day we were will to be patient sice it was a holiday and less staff would be working. We waited 10 minutes and see never acknowledged at the door. People that were leaving commented Good luck getting served.We saw the same two people walking back and forth between the dining room and kitchen area, but they werent serving anyone and were talking very loudly about quitting. There were a lot of people waiting who ended up leaving after we heard that.
Ive been to IHOP a lot and this was the worst service Ive ever gotten. The table was not wiped down, I asked for a spoon to stir my coffee and did not receive one until the food arrived. Food is usually out very quickly but took twice as long this time. Also, we were finished eating and ready for the check for 15min before the server came over to check on us. The other servers were definitely more on top of their tables and taking much better care of their customers. We will be back...but will make sure to get a different server!!
Food took forever to come to table and was cold. I asked for crispy bacon and it was so rubbery. My wifes eggs werent made correctly as ordered. Manager never came around or our waitress to ask how everything was or if it was to our liking. Absolutely one of my worst breakfast experiences ever. I would avoid eating here.
Not worth the pancakes! Arrived at 5 pm today and was seated pretty quickly since there wasnt that many people. A waitress took our order and left without writing it down. After an hour we tried to place a to go order since we hadnt seen the waitress again. After waiting 30 minutes more without getting a check or food we walked out. Of course, the nail in the coffin was the rowdy group of kids next to us got food 10 minutes after they ordered. I never want to eat ihop again especially at this one. This was the worst breakfast or meal out my daughter and I have ever had. We waited for about 20min which was fine. When we were sat at our table the server took forever to get our drink orders and to drop them off. Then my daughter had to use the restroom so i went with her but left my keys and her headphones on the table so they knew we werent done. When we came back all of table was cleared off and they had some food sitting there but no drinks or my keys or her headphones. I was upset and tried to talk to other employees because my server was no where to be found. Nobody knew what happened. After they finally had our table and drinks back out which was about 15min later. They brought our food out and it was wrong again as well. At this point Im beyond annoyed and upset. The second time she brought the correct food out mine was cold and my daughters looked like they put no effort into it. We ate what we could and at no point did the manager come out. I had to ask for her to tell her what happened and she did take care of our check but that wasnt the issue. I would gladly pay like anywhere else we go, but she did not care about anything else I explained to her and actually rolled her eyes at me while I was talking. I will NEVER go back to this establishment again!
Should be able to give 0 stars. Walked in to a not very busy IHOP and hostess ignored us. Two other people in line waiting for door dash orders for over 40 minutes... hostess then sat us and no one came to even get our drink orders. At 10 minutes hostess asked if we had been helped yet and went to get someone. At 15 min. We left. Will not be back. EVER.
Visited IHoP for a late brunch. The floors felt slippery, almost greasy and the table didnt look very clean. We waited over 25 minutes for our food - 3 breakfast entrees. The food was good! However considering the wait and the level of cleanliness. Ill skip it next time

2022-02-21All the 5 star for Ashley, our server at IHop today. One of the Wonderful crew Ihop have. On a Saturday morning this place is full of people waiting in the lobby, this Ihop was less of staff thats what we heard after reaching there. But man, hats off to Ashley this lady had bright smile on her face throughout which made our day. I can just imagine the stress level of people working there and trying to serve people with aBig smile on their face. Ihop as always have the best pancakes but if you like something fruity creamy and sweet than do try Strawberry and cream crepes. The oreo milkshake is too yummy. Coffee in that Ihop cup is what I feel is authentic and I always ask for one. Good family place to come and brunch or breakfast. Be prepared to wait for a while on weekends but the wait is worth. The entire world is running short of staff what matters is people welcoming with a smiling face. Thank you. Long live Ashley!!

2022-03-09Had a terrible experience. Sat at table for over 10 minutes before waitress came to table to get drink order, so when she finally came we ordered drinks, apps, and food at same time. Another waitress brought app and food out to table. Didnt even get a chance to take a bite of food and waitress gave me the check, she never came back to check on us. I had to ask other waitress for refill on drink, the hash brown was so over dine, it was like a chip. On my way to pay check because nobody came to pick up credit card, my waitress pops up from a table where she had been sitting with her family from out of town, they were catching up. Her family did pay my bull since they had kept her for my entire visit. π I have never been so angry about a visit to ihop.

2022-04-06Well I just ate at an IHOP in Cleveland and it was ten times better then this one. Cleveland used whole pieces of bacon and had cheese on the inside as well as outside. This one on had bacon bits on it and topped with cheese only, on the inside was on hash browns it was dry I give it a 3 out of ten I will not be ordering from here in the near future.
