IHOP in other cities:
First off 4 bucks for a fountain drink??? Thats just robbery, I get inflation but that is out of bounds. Second the omelet I had was bland and rubbery and then I find out theres pancake batter in omelets there. If I order eggs I want eggs not yellow colored pancakes. If my kids didnt actually enjoy their pancakes then I would have given one star.
AMAZING service. The waiter was amazing, the wood was as well. Got the spinach and mushroom omlette and the cheescake pancakes which were amazing. The waiter treated us like friends, not customers which is very rare to find. Price was good, went at night because we didnt want to go in a crowded area. Would love to come back here in the future
Ihop, good food, getting a little pricey though for breakfast, and friendly service. There we was a brief wait, but then again it was a holiday weekend. Waitress seemed a little nervous, but still she was very polite and helpful. A nice place for breakfast or lunch...
There were only 2 staff working, 1 waitress and 1 cook, they were only using half of the restaurant and I completely understand that....the food and service were great considering the situation they were put in (there was a 3rd gentleman working when we arrived but he left shortly after). The poor waitress had no one to help her at all and had several tables that needed bussed...in spite of that she did a fantastic job. Im just happy for her sake that they were not busier on a Saturday night. Great job by the two that were working, u fortunately I did not get their names but both were amazing considering the situation.
Christmas day 2021. Having breakfast with my daughter lil sis in law- lil sis and her mom. Great breakfast, my eggs were a bit over cooked. It was crazy busy!! Our waitress was really good, sharp, she did an amazing job. They had no time to breath, it was that busy!! It was literally the only place open Christmas morning. We al enjoyed ourselves.
3-20-19 The restraint isnt open, I called 5 times to order breakfast for a group of friends. I went 30 miles out of my MF way to come here and they are under renovation. Nothing on the answering service. Thats a big negative in my book. Just a note in the door. Lousy management.Previous Visit:Pros: Food was decent for the price. No complaints really, but Im not picky.Cons: Place was very dirty, the bathroom was filthy, the breezeway is not a fun place to sit and wait in line when its cold out. Barely any heat. Waiter dropped the ball with our coffee, not a huge deal, Im patient, but she didnt give us any spoons to stir nor any straws. Again, not a big deal, but a poor way to start off the visit after being in a cold breezeway. Very basic bottom of the barrel coffee creamer cups. No thanks.
After driving 4 hours from Kentucky, we decided to stop and grab a quick late bite at 8 pm, there were 6+ a child. We ordered around 8:10. It took 10 minutes for the server to inform us that they were out of crispy chicken. My sister law accepted tenders as a substitute. Another 10 minutes went by for them to realize we had another order with a crispy chicken item, again, tenders were acceptable. So 2 orders of pancakes, 3 tenders & 2 burgers were not even being cooked. While a table of 2 had been seated 10+ minutes after we ordered, received 5 plates of food before ours. The two staff members had been sitting on the other side of the dining room when I walked outside to grab my hoodie and noticed 5 plates in the window for at least 2 minutes as they sat. The food was not even ours after 40 minutes. We decided to leave after 50 minutes and only seeing one burger being served in the window we told the server we were leaving due to our wait and no apologies or explanation. They did try to say they had only one cook and a large carry-out order they had held up the kitchen. Yet upon entrance, there had been no cook in the kitchen for some time, no carry out boxes ever put up, no person picking up a carry out of “7 orders.”As a server with 16 years experience in high volume, fast paced, fine dining, nightclubs and dive bars… this whole experience was miserable and unacceptable.- Carry out (if there even was one) was priority over dine in.- WE WERE THE ONLY TABLE IN THE BUILDING.- No apologies or warnings that the kitchen would take a bit longer.- An order identical to ours placed a good 10 minutes after got served first.I’m very understanding of the crisis with short staffing, unreliable shipments and low inventory. However, there was NO excuse for the staff to not be considerate or apologetic regardless if they were at fault or not. We are in the service industry and I should never have a waitress nor manager walk away with an attitude when we chose to leave because after 50 minutes and an empty dining room, none of our food had been served or the wait acknowledged. This experience is why businesses fail. And the 2 FOH staff present, should be trained on proper etiquette for longer than normal wait times and how to make the customers feel attended too instead of an inconvenience.
We stopped on the way home from a trip to Toledo. The restaurant was very clean, the gentleman who seated us was friendly and helpful, as was the server. The food came out hot and hit the spot. We felt welcome, never rushed, and the server took great care of us...even on refills.
Went for brunch with the boys after visiting BGSU, Dani was our waitress she did a good job, the food was not the best though.I had the new holiday cranberry combo, the pancakes needed syrup. The bacon was soggy and I received noticeable burnt hashbrowns on the combo. The bbq Mac and cheese sandwich was not good they put way too many pickles and why mushrooms? The Mac and cheese was like school lunch quality. The Only thing that was tasty was the jalapeno burger and French fries.I was refunded for the burnt hashbrowns, because how could you serve those black as they were and think its okay? I didnt want the cook making me nothing else.
I and friend ate breakfast in Perrysburg 0n 8-26-2021. We were assisted to a table next two an other table of guest. Per my request I asked to be seated at a different table due to safety reasons due to covid. When we were shown our table the waitress throw our utensils on the table. My friend and I were not impressed with her attitude. My friend told her that she had. not been to aI HOP before . waitress took our order. When the food came she said. that the pancakes would be wright out . A man brought out our pancakes and slammed them on table out of our reach. We both said that we would not come back. Our hash browns were burnt and dry. The link sausage and tiny ham pieces were dry and over done. It was a very bad experience.
I try not to write bad reviews because everyone is always trying and theres something good about each visit. However, today we had a bad experience. The hostess didnt greet us at all, the waiter could not have been less friendly. We ordered our food and when I came out it was lukewarm at best, the cheese wasnt even melted. It came with pancakes which werent even warm enough to melt the butter. We asked for salt/pepper and syrup but we were done eating before they even reached our table. Im not sure if they were short staffed or what, but it wasnt the visit we had hoped to have
We came to this IHOP around 8 o’clock in the morning the server had a bad attitude Gabe is cold coffee. When I asked her if she had any thing a little bit more warmer and fresh she looked at me like I was crazy. You can tell that firsthand that she doesn’t want to work maybe she’s so used to the government giving her unemployment.!!!
While there no one on the team was happy, our server looked over whelmed and like she was just tired. Took a while to get our food.and she didnt talk much. But one bright spot was Taylor, she wasnt my server but she talked to me and my kids and she seemed to always be smiling under her mask. So thank you Taylor for making us feel wanted after the rest didnt. You have great things ahead of you. Again. Thank you
My husband and I stopped at ihop Perrysburg, Ohio on Friday April 9,2021 7:20pm. We walked up to the entrance there were 6 people waiting to be seated. We stood there with the others a few minutes. My husband asked the others if they have been acknowledged and they allsaid,”No”! Waiting another minute, my husband ask loudly,....Is there a hostess or someone here that can seat us! A dark haired lady in red said, I”m doing the best I can, we are short handed, sorry! At that point, there was 10 people standing there and we All walked out!!!! There was Not one person sitting on one side of the restaurant. Short hand or not that was very poor customer service!!!!My thought seat us get us a drink. The only people that are seated will wait a few extra minutes to get their food or check, because they have too!!If I could have given no star,...I would have!!Will not return to that franchise !
We stopped by to have breakfast before heading to MI. We ordered our food and our waitress too her time for got half the food and I ordered GF pancakes and they didn’t taste like GF and some of the food was not fully cooked. Ordered a pc of toast and it took 20mins to get 1 slice…I love IHOP but unfortunately I don’t recommend this one.
If I could give no stars I would, the service here was absolutely terrible we waited over an hour for our food to arrive at the table and when it arrived everything was cold, hard and tasted awful and our server never came out to tell us the food would be late or asked us if we wanted refills on our drinks. Then when we were ready to pay no one came up to us and when we asked someone to check us out we were met with attitude and then we had to ask again for help five minutes later. This place is absolutely disgusting and has terrible service.
Placed an order for pickup online and was told it would be ready at 12:36. Arrived at 12:44 just to make sure they had enough time. I called and was told they will be right out with our food. Waited and waited but didn’t get a phone call and still no food. I called back at 1:00 and was told (again) they will be right out. So 20 minutes after we arrived, someone came out with the food but didn’t have any of the drinks we ordered. They weren’t even aware that we ordered drinks. So then we waited and waited even longer. It ended up taking almost 30 minutes to pick up our breakfast. I could have driven to the grocery store, got all the food, driven home, cooked it, and spent less than half the money in the same amount of time it took them.Ihop should stop doing take out if this is the best they can do.
My family & I left very upset considering the manager on duty and a waitress who wasn’t supposed to serve us was disrespectful. Jasmine was very nice and I wish she had handled our drinks but the other waitress slid our drinks instead of placing them properly and threw our straws. The manager didn’t know how to handle the situation based on her response and doesn’t know the meaning of caring for customers.
The food was good. But the hostess was slow, super friendly but when she went to get our table with two high chairs it was so embarrassing that there was such a long line up behind us. There was plenty of staff that should have helped out. She was attentive and saw when we had a spill and helped clean it up. Our waitress never brought more drinks, even after the spill. The seating is so cramped and awkward. With the high chairs, the kids have to sit so far away from the table or, you have to pull it up over the table legs. NOT SAFE! Also, the high chairs were disgusting! I am glad I chose to wipe them down because there was so much filth on the wipe!
Only giving this 1 star because no stars isn’t an option. I ordered dinner for myself through the IHOP website for delivery. Delivery was by door dash. After an hour my order was still not ready/picked up. My order wasn’t picked up until well after the 50 minute delivery window. I reached out to doordash to cancel. By the time a customer service agent got on the phone the order was on the way. Doordash told me since the order was placed through IHOP that I needed to speak with the restaurant. The food arrived with no seals and cold as suspected. I spoke with the manager who was not willing to help. She told me that IHOP as a company does not do refunds so beware if you have any issues during your dining experience. She told me that doordash had to refund my money. Doordash told me that IHOP had to refund my money since the order was placed through website. They even called ahead of me and spoke with the restaurant. The door dash agent stated the restaurant had my payment information and were expecting my call. When I called the person indicated that they just spoken with door dash and placed me on hold for the manager. My call was disconnected after a few minutes. I called backed only to be placed on hold for another 10 minutes. It’s very upsetting to spend $25 on dinner that I put straight in the trash. When I pointed out to the manager she was offering no solution and making this my problem she finally said she would offer to remake the food and that I could pick it up which defeats the purpose of ordering delivery. Very very disappointing and will certainly never be back. Will also never be using door dash delivery service again.
I, my best friend, Rhonda, and her daughter, Genesis, had a WONDERFUL time at this IHOP ... from the DELICIOUS fare to the AWESOME personnel, including Stephanie (server), Willie (cook) & Laurie (manager), WE are THANKFUL for this GREAT DINING EXPERIENCE!! 🤩😊#GRANDGratitudeToYouALLBlacklistedculture.com
Took my sons there today. Food was ok very costly I got biscuits and gravy was hardly no gravy on the biscuits ask for more gravy they charged me 2.99 for it. What a rip off. Very exspensive place to eat breakfast. If u get biscuits and gravy. You should at least get enough to cover the biscuits. I wont be back there. $60 for breakfast for 3 people
Under staffed 2 waitresses and a cook at 5:30pm for the dinner time rush. We waited 15 minutes in a half empty restaurant. The Coronavirus is no excuse this place has been this way for years. My children wanted a Mummy Pancake so I knew going in it was going take forever for food that takes only minutes to cook. The restaurant was half full on one side. The other half of the restaurant was closed. This is not good practice in the middle of a pandemic. One of the waitresses approached us and said its going to be a few minutes. 15 minutes later we left and went to Bob Evans and were seated right away with more customers than Ihop had. Sunday morning seems to be the best time to go to this location. During the week expect to wait.
From working in the restaurant industry before, clearly they were short staffed in the kitchen. It took 40 minutes for our food. We only ordered french toast and an omelette. My French toast was cold. We usually dont make a fuss at restaurants, but Our waitress gave us a 20% discount on our bill without us asking because of the wait. When we left, I saw two cooks and a manager prepping in the kitchen. They also were not sitting people even though there were lots of open tables. I think this was their tactic to curve angry customers. Sad, as we will not be back for a while.
Had a nice waitress. Didnt get her name, but she served my mother and I well. We had the Cannolis, green pancakes and funnel cake meal, and a fried country steak with over-medium eggs. We both paid separately for our own stuff. So if the manager sees this and can locate that waitress, please tell her thanks!
The only good thing was the hostess. We waited for our drinks they took our order messed it up. I took 1 of the messed up plates so it didnt get wasted. They never brought us silverware we had to get up and get it. We asked for manager she came over tried to help. Worked on getting us out order l. The endless pancakes never came we had to ask for the first set never got anymore. Horrible horrible. We was trying to make it a good day as that was the last place I saw my dad before he passed away.. Never will I go back again and I will tell everyone about it. The table behind us had cold food too.
Great service but the food was terrible. How can iHop (basically a breakfast restaurant) serve such terrible eggs? Even my hashbrowns were burnt and tasted awful. Dont even think of ordering crepes unless you like crepe soup. Never going there again. Thats what I deserve for dining inside a restaurant during a pandemic.
Was there for breakfast with my family and the waitress we had was training a new person and she had a very bad attitude she rolled her eyes and when she was told that my mother didnt like her attitude she said I know right!!! If you are having a bad day or problems at home you leave that attitude at the door when you go into work!!!! The customers are the people who paying you your pay. Just put a smile on and get though your day.
I ordered 2 orders of burgers with fries, 2 side salads, 2 sweet teas and 2 orders of pancakes online, about 9:30 pm. The online system has my name, number and let me know my order would take about 20 minutes. I drove to the location, on time, to pickup my food. The waitress told me that they didnt receive my entire online order, so only the burgers were done.. She then proceeded to ask me every item I ordered, mind you, Ive already prepaid online! I had to wait an additional 40 minutes at the restaurant for them to get the rest of my food COOKED! They had my number and never called me to ask for the rest of my order! I finally got my food and went home.. to find out the burgers were unseasoned and disgusting. I also was given 2 unsweetened teas instead of Sweet. Ill never get food there again.
The food here was very good. I had the Holiday Special ham and sausage omelet. My omelet was packed full of sausage and honey glazed ham chunks as well as sauteed peppers and onions, and even more was piled on top. It also came with three buttermilk pancakes, and for only 10.00 I got a meal that was very filling and satisfying. My wife got strawberry and creme crepes that were so good we ended up ordering some to go. And the kids both got smiling face pancakes that they actually ate without complaint. All in all a good value and an even better meal.
We went in for lunch today and we sat for 15 minutes. Not one waitress/waiter acknowledged us. They walked right by our table numerous times. The restaurant was not busy at all. They were too busy standing behind the wall chit chatting with each other. Very upsetting. We left and went to another restaurant.
Sometimes you need to visit another IHOP restaurant far away from home.. This is what we did today...We live in Toledo Ohio but had to go to Perrysburg Ohio..This was simply Fantastic job.. the young man who served us... Brandon was excellent customer representative.Food was delicious and fresh
Tiny portions for the price. I paid for a side of bacon and the slices looked like half the size of normal bacon. The eggs looked like the absolute smallest they could find. Even the hash browns were tiny. You are basically paying for a name. They even use smaller plates to make the portions look better. Waitress was awesome. Only positive of the expirience. Wont be back. You get better breakfast at Mom&Pop coney islands.
Waited for over 40 mins, but the whole time there were 5 tables empty. The tables were cleaned and had silverware on them. Once seated the service was fast, but our food wasn’t to order. An employee was in the restroom same time as I was and walked out without washing hands. As I was leaving saw he was one of the cooks.
Great service and meal! The waitress was a great time manager and instead of give ng me eggs she didnt feel were what I asked for, she brought them out to show me and had the cook remake them on her own accord! Her promptness was much appreciated and the food was very good and exactly as expected!
Go here almost every Sunday morning for breakfast. Always have great service from our favorite servers. They even know I want the New York cheesecake pancakes....YUMMY! Food is always good and what we ordered. Sometimes when they are busy order can take a little extra time, but we are not in a hurry.
I got the 2 eggs breakfast with hash brown and 2 sausage and 2 pieces of bacon with 2 pancakes. Well the pancakes were good bit everything else was horrible. I sent back the eggs cause the white were horrible and they were still wrong. Hashbrowns were cold in the middle hard on the outside. Dont eat here unless your gonna get pancakes only.
Just ordered a bowl of chicken noodle soup. First, part of it was spilled when the waitress went to put it on our table. I then put some saltines in it, took a bite, and it was cold. I asked for a warm bowl and when the waitress brought it back, my soggy saltines were still in there and it appeared that more had been spilled - meaning it had simply been microwaved. AGAIN, the soup was cold. I asked that it just be taken off the bill and went to McDonald’s next door. The rest of my party received rubbery chicken tenders and seemingly undercooked French fries. Definitely will not be back!
Just waited what feels like forever for our food, but we are a party of 8 so I was trying to be understanding. The food finally arrives, or at least some of it. My daughters food did not get made. My sons pancakes were not brought, he did not get the cheese in his eggs that he ordered. My toast was, well not exactly toasted (see photo), and my over medium eggs were over hard. When my daughters food finally arrives, it was supposed to be a regular pancake, but we got chocolate. At this point though we have to eat what we can get. We asked for drink refills and the girl let us know that the kids drinks and my sons orange juice would be extra. SERIOUSLY?!?! And I may have said that quite loudly as the girl was walking away. She came back and let us know our refills would be free because of all of our problems! In all my years of working in restaurants this never would have happened. I understand things happen, but this was ridiculous.
Food cold long wait love I hop restaurants when they take a little pride in what they put on your plate . No pride here save your money not worth the trip . Thanks we was looking forward to eating there really disappointed . NO PRIDE . I just got off phone from management. The manager Laura seemed very sincere about keeping happy customers. I will go back and try it again someday
One of the worst IHOPs Ive been to. Service was terrible and slow, even though the restaurant was barely a quarter full. I was overcharged with three extra items on one of our kids meals. Our chicken entree was severely overcooked and dried out. We had to wait way to long for everything while the servers all stood in a group back by the kitchen. I have a pretty low expectation going in because we know its IHOP, but the kids love the funny face pancakes so we go regularly by our home. Stay away from this location.
The service was great. The food was horrible. The cook walked out during his shift so Kylie the manager was left to pick of the pieces while training a new server. Hopefully they fix their issues. So needless to say we had to go eat dinner after going to dinner at Ihop.
We wont be back. We love breakfast places and this place is the worst- mainly because of the service. There has been something very wrong with our order every time weve been here (5-6 times), including one time when they totally forgot to put in the meal for a person at our table. There are WAY too many good, local places to get breakfast to waste your time on this scummy chain. Go to the Lamplight Cafe on Indiana instead.
Staff was nice and service was prompt. I had the Colorado Omelette with pancakes. The Omelette had almost nothing inside of it and despite the menu stating it had pork in the Omelette, I could not find much. Im assuming the salad bar ham cubes were supposed the pass as the shredded pork that was pictured on the menu. Pancakes were good.
The last 2 times went to the one on Airport Hgwy the experiences were terrible. Waited 55 minutes to get our food and then tell me they are out the the beef for my sandwich. The 2nd time we also had to wait about 35 minutes. The food was terrible and the wait staff were not friendly.
Its a Saturday morning.. no heat in the restaurant heaters all over the tables. Every customer is wearing their coat! Listened to the servers discuss for about 10 min who was waiting on us.. table behind and next to us walked out! Finally a server came over and was very nice. I truely feel sorry for the mess this server has been put in. We as customers are fighting over the heater! I can say never again
A very nice experience. The coffee was great while I wait for my wife out in the car juggling room reservations for daughters wedding at the end of the month. I ordered a couple of cheesesteaks and onion rings to go. They packed up the order really well along with adding ketchup and napkins and some utensils. Both the orders of onion rings and the cheesesteaks were awesome. We were impressed.BTW... The restrooms were clean and plenty of paper towels too. I HATE RESTROOMS THAT HAVE THOSE DAMNED AIR DRYERS. This place doesnt.
We had a terrible experience at the IHOP on route 20. To begin with, there was no heat and it was like 12 degrees out. It took us an hour to get our food, which was Cold. The grease on the french fries was coagulated, and the butter on my waffle would not melt. We left and went to Bob Evans, where we were happy just to have heat and hot food. We didnt even have to wear our coats. The best part is that the cook who didnt know what was going on thought we were leaving because they got our order wrong-_he started arguing and making fun of my sister. I am never going back to that location.
The greeter didnt acknowledge that we were waiting to be seated. The booth we were placed at was surrounded by tables covered with cluttered messes that didnt get cleaned up for nearly 40 MINUTES. After our food arrived we had to point out that we had no silverware. My wife had ordered a side of pancakes, which was not delivered to the table. When she brought it to the servers attention, the young woman simply said the kitchen had forgotten to make them, and asked if she would like plain toast instead. Near the end we asked for a container for my daughters leftovers (grilled cheese). The server returned with what appeared to be small soup containers, capable of holding a few ounces of liquid. My wife sarcastically said that we would instead use napkins, and thats what we were brought (our fault, I suppose). The food was noticeably overcooked, though at that point our overall moods probably influenced our perception of what the kitchen had sent out more than their ability.
One of the worst experiences of my dining out travels. The only bright side is the manager at the Perrysburg, Ohio IHOP went above and beyond after my complaint.I have been given 2 coupons to try there establishments again....I am so disgusted right now, I think those complimentary coupons only remind me of the WORST day ever.Leave your customers sit for 20 minutes with no menus, no drinks, no nothing. Then place your order only to have it be forgotten.I sniffed my armpits to see if it was me that stunk or their services that stink. Glad to report it wasnt me.Off to dine out again, but not thereNot soon anyway.
Terrible service waited 45 minutes for a French toast meal then our orders were mixed apart waited another 20 minutes for our French toast and hash browns to come out because they also forgot those for them to only still forget our hash browns🤣🤣🤣 then the manager there demanded that I pay atleast half price of what we ordered because I drunk half of my lemonade while waitin a hour and half for food maybe a bad day for staff there but won’t be back again!! Terrible service and staff!
I keep giving this Ihop chance after chance, always being disappointed. My friend and I came in for a late breakfast before heading out on our camping trip. I ordered an omlette with a short stack of pancakes on the side. She ordered a short stack with hashbrowns. Her food wad quite cool when it arrived after an hours wait. Mine was also cooling down. My pancakes did not arrive until we were finished eating EVERYthing else. I asked for it to go and had to ask again for the items to go with it.This location is sadly lacking. There is always an excuse.
Came here on Christmas day, looked online before coming and it said open till 10pm on christmas, got here at 630 PM and the doors were locked, but full staff was inside. Called and it rang busy. Came in the following day and they were bragging about being open till 10pm on christmas day. I thought I was in Rossford. Definitely not the experience I thought we were going to get. Food was cold. Servers were unprofessional with their conversations and used profanity. Cook was eating while cooking, they seemed to be out of everything. Poor management, dont even know if there was a manager on duty. Waitress was rude and asked me if I wanted my change, well no I guess not. Take the 10% tip, I was going to leave more bc she was at least polite.
For was ok. For the most part what I noticed is that they wiped down tables but forget to do a quick sweep of the floor. Crumbs and bits of paper from the straws were noticed. Standing menus on the table need to he wiped down and checked. I had maple syrup stuck on mine. Oh and I notice theres a dress code or??? Some wear Jeans and some wear black pants. One waitress wore extremely tight pants that did not help show her lovely derriere....
If I could give this IHOP zero stars, I would. We waited about an hour and our food still hadnt arrived. Our waitress (Mackenzie) came by and I asked if our food would be out soon. The waitress told us they only had one cook who had made a lot of mistakes earlier and he had to slow down.. Come to find out MACKENZIE NEVER PUT IN OUR ORDER. When I asked to talk with the manager, there wasnt one on duty. Another waitress was in charge. What irritated me most was that she tried to blame the cook. If you make a mistake fess up to it.
I had hair in my food not once but twice in the same dining experience. I ordered breakfast. The sausage came out with a large black hair on it before I sent it back to the kitchen I cut slits in all the meat to make sure I didnt receive the same meat back. When the waitress brought back my plate not only was it the same meat I had just sent back with the slits cut in it but now the hair had just been moved from the sausage to the ham. Absolutely disgusting. They take food from the customers and place it back on their grills. The general manager Miguel Castro is a joke. He needs to learn how to talk to people. I left two voice mails regarding our visit asking for a call back (I called the number listed on our bill), no one called. I called the Corp Office several days later, I was told by Jake within two days someone would contact me, it has been a week and no one has contacted me. I called the Corp Office again and left a message with Alfredo who finally was able to get someone to contact me; Amanda who is a supervisor. . . I would think a GM is higher but what do I know. Needless to say all she said was sorry this happened. I will NEVER return to IHOP.
Myself and my african American husband went here when traveling back home. I am not familiar with the town, nor is he. We walked into the most uncomfortable environment I hqve ever been in during our 15 years together! Stares, gawks and one couple even walked out while looling in our direction. I give one star because the waitress was nice, but will never stop in this place again.
Terrible service sub standard food and small portions. Waitstaff never came back around for drink refills. Just all around bad experience. As i looked around the other patrons were sayin the same things. Forever to get our cold food. Not happy not going back to this location.
Food quality must be suffering because of the volume of orders. International House Of Pancakes does not live up the the hype they advertise. Serving staff leave a lot to be desired. The one I had forgot a glass of water at least 3 times. Why in the world would, in these times, would any restaurant chain put pancake batter into the scrambled eggs used in omelets and other dishes? Now theyve ruined perfectly appetizing egg dishes PLUS deceive about the quality! 3 stars is a fair rating and IHO(resembles)P should be grateful.
Ordered food, the waitress said they could not substitute one item on the appetizer sampler for an extra of something else... got our food, one plate of eggs were super runny, I asked if I could get well done eggs and the waitress went back and told the cook (I could hear them) that I was being picky and someone said OH MY GOD.. I got my well done eggs which were better. Then my drink was taken away from me and a new one replaced without a straw. At this point I just felt like a complete burden and wanted to eat and leave. Most likely will not return to this location.
Very Dissapointing.Ive always liked IHOP and have visited several in other states with my first visit to the one in Perrysburg OH on Saturday Oct 19, 2013.The place was not very full and I was seated immediately. The staff seamed pleasant and I ordered my meal and beverage. Ater 30 minutes waiting for my meal I started getting aggrevated realizing that the order was a simple one, the place was not very busy, but yet it took forever to arrive. After 45 minutes, after prompting the waiter that it was unusual, the meal arrived. By that time I had lost my appetite. The eggs were raw (my order was over easy) with the albumen running like its not even touched the hot plate. The waiter had the assistant manager come to my table (not at my request) since he could clearly see I was upset with the service and now the food. I politely requested my bill, paid for my meal and left - food untouched. Why did i pay for the meal? Well, i wanted them to know i was genually dissapointed with the service and quality of food and was not just looking for a free pass. I hope that my experience initiates better service in the future for others. As for me, I will not be eating at IHOP in Perrysburg ever again.
Good food, wait staff was nice, only real issue we had this visit was the menus were not clean. Actually had to pull pages apart to read them, gross. When the menu is at the table theres no food, why were they so sticky. Dont go here much, when we do there is always atleast one issue.
Ordered the burger with bacon and egg and hashbrowns on it. I got a plain burger with just lettuce and tomato on it (which I instructed to not be on my burger). Waitress took it back, came back with just egg. Took it back and got the hash brown patty added. Took it back again and finally got the bacon. Waitress was very friendly tho
Terrible food. Dont accept coupons from day to day and no signs are posted which one they are not accepting that day. Manager is very loud, beligerant, and was overheard belittling the wait staff. Overheard another waitress talking how she doesnt like children (very rude!) I would recommend trying a different location. Very rude waitresses and incompetent manager. Not too mention not a real manager in sight at night. Ever.
This has to be the worst experience I have e ever had at an ihop.I got the fajita omelette which was extremely dry and tasted old. I found a huge stem from a pepper in it.The pancakes were.just burnt on the bottom. I couldnt even cut them with a fork. They must have been out of blueberries because I received 3 in one of the pancakes and 5 in the other. All of them were in a tight circle so only one bite would have blueberries.I have never been at this location and it will be my last.
This is the first time that Ive been unhappy with service at any IHOP. Our server poorly played fake nice, made us worry that they may not honor my perfectly valid gift card, and gave us poor attention and general service. Also my canoli pancakes had the canoli cream on top of the rolled up pancakes instead of in the middle like shown on the menu.. like a real canoli. The churro pancakes had way too much cinnamon sugar cream on them and overpowered everything else. Im giving them a two because of the manager and how well she handled the situation.
Even though the place was clean and tidy the plate portion was small and even though the 3 pcs of pancakes supposed to come free with the omelette we were charged for both separately i guess she was a new waiter and this was our first visit to an i hop next day we went to the one in talmadge and the waiter there told us they come together other than the that place was clean and good manners
Its ok but for the value of what u get I think its sum what overpriced but they do have a big extensive menu of items. Also the restaurant looks to be renovated since Ive been there a few years ago place is clean fast service. Definitely a go-to place for breakfast related items!
The most racist place.we came in the restaurant about 11:15am they sat is down about 11:25 am we ordered our food.then another family came in behind us and they receive their food before us.and to top it off our food was cold.i believe in equality.but apparently they dont so my family and i left never to return to this .place i will never allow people to misused me because the color of my skin.so they can go to hellllllllll .thank you for allowing me to share
Was sat ,,booth next to us came in after us was waited on for a drink order first obvious that it was a different section (strike 1) then when our waitress came wasnt pleasant at all and wanted to skip and take our food order the wife had said we didnt get our drinks she said I can take that now do you want to place your food order .. We said we will just leave she didnt care she said fine.. Many places to get bad service I didnt think this was one of them but I was wrong

2021-12-25We stopped here for breakfast on Christmas. The waiter was really nice, smiling and friendly, I wish I remembered his name. He even explained our older child his options for eggs :) The coffee was good, they leave a carafe for refills. The food was delicious, I had big steak omelette, it was huge, hardly ate half of it (also goes with pancakes), the rest of the family had seasonal combos. It was a great start of the day.

2022-03-16This place was pretty empty when I went at 11am on a Wednesday morning. I was seated immediately and my order was placed within 5 minutes. I did have to change tables because the floor of my table had crumbs all over it. They could do a better job sweeping up the restaurant. My waitress was very pleasant and kept coming to check on me. I have been craving IHOP pancakes for a while, as I haven’t had them in over a year. The pancakes here don’t taste like the classic IHOP pancakes. I’m not sure if they are using different ingredients but the pancakes here almost taste store bought. I ordered pancakes, scrambled eggs, hash brown, sausage and bacon. I barely finished my meal. The food here is very mediocre. The meat tasted microwaved. The eggs were burnt. The hash brown was a little too crispy. I think this will be my last time coming to this chain restaurant. This meal confirmed why I gave up fast food restaurants altogether. The 3 stars are due to the fast service and my waitress being so nice.

2022-06-24Clean, up to date property inside and out. Decent prices for portions served. The pancakes were a little smaller than I had hoped for. Staff was friendly and food came out in a timely manner.

2022-05-20Positively the worst experience Ive ever had. Let me try to go in the order it happened. First they opened at 6am, we arrived at 7am, one of my pet peeves this guy starts to sweep and mop all around my booth, then the server brings me a coffee cup that still had some 💋 💄 on it. Then the steak omelet was thrown together by the cook like she was mad, sent it back next omelet made by another cook was better prepared except he tops it off the the ugliest brown avocado 🥑 he could find, and the server had the nerve to bring it to me. Then she never brings me any more creamer because remember she threw out the first cup with the lipstick 💄 on it.

2022-06-27Was clean. People very friendly. Service was quick. Got an omelet that tasted great. Was small in size. They must be cutting back on the serving size. It came with a little fruit. No toast and was over priced. Probably will not return.

2022-04-12I have not been here in ages. This was very clean place. The atmosphere was good. The food was overpriced for serving size. The waiter only came toward end of time to give us bill. No refills or check to see if anything was needed. Probably will not return.

2021-02-23I met a friend for breakfast. The service was good. I was seated quickly and the server was very nice and polite. I got the breakfast sampler and he got the breakfast combo. The portion sizes were great for the price and the coffee was pretty good too!
