If I could give 10 stars I would. Karen is the BEST! I reached out to I-do because we decided to get married 6 months after our engagement. I work a lot and am admittedly not a great party planner. Karen put together our design, recommended fantastic and reliable vendors and made sure our day of went smooth and perfect. There was never one time that I thought I could have done this myself or had any concerns that things werent going anything other than great. Karen had it under control. The level of detail and planning that goes into a wedding should not be left to just anyone. Please do yourself a huge favor and hire I-do to make the most important day of your life perfect!! Its the best investment you can make. Thank you Karen for your professionalism, wisdom, experience and patience. It was a perfect day!
Karen is incredible! She is professional, personable, and knowledgeable. She took the time and the effort to get to know us and our vision for our wedding, and because of it, she always made excellent recommendations on vendors and services. Karen also took the time to get to know our communication styles and our decision making process . She was an advisor, an advocate, and a friend. Not only did Karen build a wonderful relationship with us, she clearly has an excellent reputation with many wedding vendors and professionals in the area. From the biggest challenges to the smallest details, nothing was too big or too small for Karen to set her mind to and create perfection. We truly had a dream wedding!
Karen is awesome! We planned our wedding with her over ~18 months and the process was great. She was quick to offer many options for any questions we had, and when the options didnt feel right for us, she was happy to talk it out. She seems to know all the best vendors and contacts and that made so many things easier. There were plenty of difficult, painful decisions to make, but Karen made them feel more manageable. In the end, our wedding was like a dream. It was amazing to see everything come together and run so smoothly. We didnt get to spend tons of time with Karen on our day, but we could tell she was behind the scenes, taking care of things the whole time. Were sad our time with Karen is over, but look forward to seeing her at my sisters wedding in a few months.Thanks for everything Karen!Meg and Dan
We hired I-Do weddings to assist in planning our wedding. I am not originally from Cincinnati and my family and maid of honor lived out of town, so I was going to need help! Karen and Christina were AMAZING throughout the entire process. My husband and I were so impressed with their guidance to find vendors, setting up appointments, and keeping us organized and on track. They were both very professional and were quick to respond to questions and concerns. On the day of our wedding, we completely trusted Christina and Karen and knew our day would go smoothly and perfectly having them there, and it did! Now, 5 months after the wedding, my husband and I miss our meetings with them as they will forever be a great part of the memories we had planning our perfect wedding day!
As mother of the bride, working with Karen was a marvelous experience. She was knowledgeable, professional, and helpful at all times. Her knowledge of =and relationship with vendors enabled us to find the very best match for my daughter and her fiancé’s wedding. Her ability to create and stick to timelines, and guide us through every step of the process, made an incredibly complicated planning a fun activity. The day of the wedding I was able to completely relax and enjoy every moment knowing that Karen had everything under control. She is absolutely the best and I am grateful that we worked with her. As the mother of 2 sons, I never expected to be planning a wedding, but i-do Weddings & Events helped my daughter-in-law and me create a truly beautiful day. We hired Karen and the i-do team for day of the wedding help. We were able to meet with Karen a few times during the year long planning process and ask questions at any time. Karen always replied right away and always knew the best vendors to suggest. She made sure we considered everything required for the rehearsal and wedding day and created our time line to make sure nothing was forgotten. Karen attended the rehearsal and spent the wedding day with us leaving me to enjoy the day. Whether it was contacting all of our vendors the week before the wedding, helping us find a last minute venue for photos or helping pick grass out of tulle(outdoor photos can be messy), Karen was there to help us. We couldnt have created what was one of the best days of our lives for our whole family without the help of i-do Weddings & Events.
I cant praise Brigid Horne-Nestor & Karen Montgomery at I-do Weddings & Events enough! They were the absolute best.Me & my (new!) husband had quite the complicated wedding (eloped in Turks & Caicos, threw a large reception locally, tons of family & friends traveling from out of town). None of this phased Brigid at all & she went above and beyond to help plan things that werent even part of our wedding package as they came up (ex: looking into flights for my family). Brigid is probably the most responsive person Ive ever worked with, which really matters when it comes to a wedding! Shes obviously smart, competent, and gets things done. She knows everyone in the local wedding industry it seems & put us in touch with the absolute best vendors. Super friendly and fun but at the same time able to handle the 5 million things at once that it takes to plan a wedding. My type A personality resulted in me e-mailing her multiple times a day sometimes as questions/items popped into my head but she never seemed to mind & was always helpful, prompt, & friendly when it came to taking care of things as they came up.Karen Montgomery who is on the design team at I-do Weddings & Events has great taste & obviously paid close attention to exactly what sort of vibe/look we wanted at our wedding! It was the most beautiful wedding Ive ever attending (obviously I may be just a tad biased since it was my own ;) but I actually received that compliment from several guests. Every single detail she planned out from the layout of the room, the linens, lighting, florals etc. turned out gorgeous & the finished product actually brought tears to my eyes.On the day of I had the best time & got so many compliments from guests on how smooth and perfect everything was. They made sure each detail and request was taken care of & I literally did not stress even once on the night of our reception. My wedding & reception were absolutely wonderful & I know I couldnt have done it without Brigid, Karen, & the amazing team at I-do Weddings & Events. I would highly recommend them to anyone & sincerely hope I can use them for another event in the future!
Where can I even possibly begin thanking Karen for her expertise, professionalism, organization, and kindness in helping my step-daughter plan her wedding. Karen worked with us at all hours of the day and night exchanging ideas and recommendations. The day of the wedding, we could not be more impressed with how the day went. Karen and her team worked every detail perfectly knowing exactly what my step daughters vision was. Because of Karen, the day and all the little details were spectacular!
Karen is literally the best. From start to finish, she was extremely helpful, professional, friendly, and knowledgeable! I would not have been able to have the wedding of my dreams without her support, planning, and advice leading up to the wedding, and without her organization and and skill managing every aspect of it on the day of. Where do I even begin? Words cannot express the gratitude, appreciation and admiration I have for Karen Montgomery. I interviewed multiple Wedding Planners because I had a vision, a vision that our wedding day would be perfect. After meeting with multiple planners, it was evident that I needed Karen on my team. Throughout the entire 13 month process Karen was there day-and-night to answer any questions, provide insight and provide her support to me, my fiance and my family to ensure we were getting what we wanted and what we needed to plan our dream wedding. She met numerous times onsite whether to discuss linens, song selections, entree selection, etc. I knew I could count on her to be there. August 18th came and being only a couple days out, I seriously have major post-wedding blues! I can honestly say our day was PERFECT. Karen coordinated a detailed timeline for all vendors to ensure the entire weekend went seamless! The quality services we received is more than I could have expected, and I am so grateful I got to say i-do with Karen leading my team!!

Hiring Karen and Christina at I Do may have been the best money we spent on the wedding. You have no idea how many minuscule details go into planning a wedding weekend until sitting down and going over it all which can be SO overwhelming! Their calm and organized auras were exactly the type A personalities I was looking for to orchestrate our weekend. Not a sparkle was out of place all day, and if there was I didnt know about it because they had it handled! We were able to enjoy the weekend stress-free thanks to them!
I cannot even begin to describe how happy I am that I went with I-do Weddings and Events for my wedding coordinators. The minute I met Karen and Christina I knew they were the perfect fit. They are so beyond wonderful and seriously will go above and beyond the call of duty. If it wasnt for them I do not believe my wedding would have been as beautiful as it was or would have gone as smoothly. I am so grateful and cannot thank them enough. We had Karen as our wedding planner and she was amazing. She went above and beyond to make sure everything went perfectly. My family has now used Karen at I do weddings two times now and will continue to do so for future weddings and events! Can not recommend enough! Not enough stars for how awesome they are!!
Brigids presence throughout our wedding weekend calmed me. I was confident she would handle our last minute weather-related changes, and she was an absolute pro navigating sometimes difficult communications with other vendors. Hiring a coordinator like Brigid allowed us to truly be present at our wedding celebration, which was so very wonderful. I would definitely recommend I-do Weddings & Events for wedding coordination.
I didnt really think I would be able to have the luxury of having a wedding planner for my wedding. After reaching out to i-do Weddings & Events just to find out about their services and pricing, I knew that I had to have Karen to plan my wedding. She brought together all of the activities of the big day that can be very overwhelming to plan yourself. She coordinated vendor arrivals and created a detailed schedule so that everyone knew what time and where to be on the wedding day. I had the luxury of getting to be a guest at my own wedding, rather than spending time trying to keep the schedule on track. She was kind, patient, and relatable, had great ideas, and even though she had experience doing dozens of weddings, she was still excited for mine. That really made a big difference in the feel of my day. It wasnt just another wedding. If you want your day to be unique and you, but for someone to take care of all those details that probably shouldnt be left to, I dont know, well figure it out, I would highly recommend i-do Weddings & Events.
Karen is a consummate professional. Her guidance, assistance, reminders, and poise made every part of the wedding planning process easier. Her administrative management on the wedding weekend itself was invaluable. She truly was marvelous, so skilled and such a tremendous pleasure to work with. Brigid is the BEST! I’ve witnessed her proficiency in multiple weddings, most notably my sister’s and my own. She truly makes things seamless and handles all logistics in a calm manner. Her expertise is easily noticeable. She is the one who thought of all the little things that everyone else forgot. She makes it all happen without the added stress. I highly recommend Brigid!

The ladies are fabulous! There are so many things and details that need addressed when planning a wedding and they make sure you dont have to worry about or forget a thing! Even 7 months after my wedding they are still there answering questions and helping out (wasnt sure about where to preserve my dress). Go with them and you wont be sorry!
Relentlessly professional in every way... I drew caricatures at a wedding reception I-do Weddings managed and it was flawless. Everything ran like clockwork and things could not have been better for the bride & groom. Everyone had a terrific time, no worries and no snags, they did a super job.
Im so grateful for Brigid, Karen, and the whole I-Do Team! They are consistently elevating the event industry in Cincinnati, and doing it with professionalism and kindness! 10/10 Recommend!
Concept is good. Staff was helpful and friendly. Menu was a little overwhelming. No combos and there were no smaller portion options (regular fry feeds 2). Burger was okay. The meat was not really seasoned, but it was juicy.
Our experience with I-do wedding was incredible.Karen did an amazing job.She was always prompt with the timelines and always had answers immediately for us.We could not have picked a better person to work with.She was also happy and accommodating and worked very well with all the vendors.I already have had people ask me for her number and the wedding was only this past Saturday 6/10/17.

2020-08-31Where do I even begin?!? First of all, planning a wedding during a pandemic was not my first choice, but I would not have picked anyone better to have done it with than Karen Montgomery and the i-do Weddings team. In addition, planning a wedding in general is very stressful, and I felt at ease knowing Karen was there to help us the entire time. Her knowledge of the industry and local vendors is extremely critical. I felt I could trust her recommendations, which made the process a lot more efficient. We did have to pivot on one of our vendors later in the planning process due to a family emergency, and it was all hands on deck to find a replacement who was just as talented. I am also appreciative of the attention to detail the whole team gave. Even down to the monogram “L” on the dance floor and face masks we handed out to the welcome gift bags. I basically sent my Pinterest board and said, “I trust you,” and it paid off. Most importantly, during our wedding day, I didn’t have to worry about a single logistics issue or minor mishap, as Karen and the team took care of it while we could just be in the moment and enjoy the day. I am so grateful for all of the work Karen and the team put into our wedding. It truly was our dream wedding, and all of it can be attributed to the planning, coordination and creativity of Karen and the i-do team. Thank you SO much for everything you do, and if you are a bride-to-be reading this review, you will NOT regret using this team to help you plan your big day!

2021-12-02Brigid and her i-do team were amazing. Having planning services was what enabled us to actually relax during the planning process, and Brigid’s approach made it even more so…and made it truly fun!! She was great at coaching and managing us through the inevitably stressful situations, kept us honest on our personal to-do list, and every detail was proactively thought of and addressed seamlessly. We really appreciate all she and her team did and would recommend her to anyone!

2021-12-10Brigid and i-do Weddings & Events were SO helpful throughout the entire wedding planning process!Brigid kicked everything off working to understand what was most important to us for our wedding day and what we wanted guests to take away from the experience. She was then there to answer any questions and provide recommendations on additional vendors and plans for the day.We were a COVID couple, so Brigid helped us navigate postponing our wedding until 2021. Brigids helpful advice was what guided our decision and I credit her for helping us make the call early enough that we were then able to move most of our vendors from 2020 to our new date! She was instrumental in working with vendors to finalize the updated contracts at a time when everything in the world was so up in the air. I so appreciate Brigids candor, advise, and calming spirt during such a chaotic time.Once we FINALLY made it to our new wedding date, Brigid and i-do Weddings & Events made sure everything ran smoothly. This allowed us to focus on family and friends and truly enjoy the day. Brigids timeline, attention to detail were super helpful and I also enjoyed the software she provided to help keep track of everything along the way.Thank you Brigid and the i-do Weddings & Events team for creating such a special day for us! Our day-of-coordinator was Clare and she was always one step ahead in making sure every minor and major detail were met. If there were any issues during the day, she handled them and we never knew (exactly what we were hoping for).From communication prior to the day, to the timeline and organization, to the actual event execution, we appreciated the expertise, feedback, and professionalism throughout.If youre looking for full planning or day-of coordination, we cannot recommend i-do enough. 2020-08-27As a mom of two daughters getting married in 2020 I can not emphasize enough how much I would recommend I-Do Weddings and Events. Our first wedding happened on August 15th and it was simply amazing. Every detail to have a beautiful wedding and to keep it safe for our guests was thought of. This was not the original date it was 6/6. Karen Montgomery and the team at I-Do Weddings and Events immediately stepped in and were able to find a date that all of our vendors were available and completely reschedule our daughter’s dream wedding to August 15th. We had to navigate through a lot of uncertainty and changes in our plan, but our guests could not tell and it was an amazing day of Joy! Every little detail was thought of and it was a beautiful celebration of our daughter Christina’s marriage to Jayson! There is nothing more than parents want than to to help support their children fulfill their dreams. When Christina told me that Jayson and her had their dream wedding the day after and that it was an amazing day and they wouldn’t change a thing, as a parent you could not be more happy, and this truly would not have been possible without Karen and the team at I Do Weddings. As our daughter Morgan and her future husband Taylor look forward to their wedding day in November we are even more at peace knowing that this team will guide us through our second wedding in 2020 and deliver Morgan and Taylor their dream wedding too!

2021-07-07A little over two years ago, we hired i-do Weddings and Events to help us plan a large wedding for our daughter. Brigid recommended wonderful vendors and helped us develop a timeline. Covid-19 hit hard just after we ordered invitations. Brigid was our guide as we figured out when and how to cancel, then re-structure our wedding…twice! We were one of her first COVID weddings and we appreciated her ability to think on her feet! Ultimately, we had two beautiful, scaled-back wedding events a year apart, both at our home. I would probably not have considered a coordinator for a home event, but Brigid and her assistant were invaluable that day. They worked with the caterer, bakery, florist, photographers, etc., and allowed us to truly enjoy and remember our celebration!

2017-01-09In a year filled with a lot of decision making, I think the best decision we made, by far, was to hire I-Do Weddings to help us with our event. Christina and Karen were fabulous to work with from the very start. They listened attentively to my daughter and her fiancees vision for their wedding, and they made sure the wedding day was a true reflection of what the couple wanted. They recommended excellent vendors who were so easy and professional to work with and made the evening flawless. Our planning meetings were so much fun, and my daughters voice was always heard and respected. They helped us handle a few difficult situations with compassion and professionalism. The day of the wedding was SO much fun and stress free thanks to Christina and Karens organization and experience. Both families really enjoyed themselves and were present for the beautiful and touching moments, that sometimes get missed if errands fall on your shoulders. Christina and Karen were the secret ingredient to my daughters magical wedding day, and we feel so very blessed to have had them be a part of it.

2016-10-30The absolute best decision we made was to hire I-Do Wedding & Events for our wedding planners! Everything we wanted our daughter’s wedding to be and had envisioned, Karen and Christina brought to life perfectly. Their design knowledge, professionalism and organization skills make them top-of-the-line wedding planners. We had so many ideas, decor and personal touches that we wanted to incorporate into the wedding day. They worked their magic in setting up and executing everything we wanted into a stunning, customized setting. From the minute we signed up with them, they gave excellent vendors recommendations that started bringing our dream wedding to life. Every recommended vendor we chose was perfect and the time savings in narrowing down those choices was significant! On top of that, Karen and Christina made sure everything was on schedule at numerous meetings we had with the vendors and our venue over a 12 month period. Karen and Christina helped develop a detailed timeline for us which helped everyone (vendors, venue, wedding party, etc) stay on schedule and made the wedding day flow flawlessly. At the end of the night, the I-Do team packed everything up for us (27 boxes in all) as we went on with the post wedding celebration. I can’t say enough about everything they did for us and how they made our day completely stress free. We are truly grateful that Karen and Christina were by our side for the past year and especially on our wedding day.
