Wish I would have read these reviews before even bothering to move my business accounts to Huntington. Across the board they have made banking a nightmare and a headache from Day 1. All Huntington branches in the area have been less than helpful but this particular branch seems to feel that customers are inconvenience and communication is overrated. Because Ive learned that you can talk to 5 different people at Huntington Corporate and in the branch and get 5 different answers, I have started even calling ahead before knowing I have to come in, and even then they cant seem to figure out what the heck theyre doing. A complete mess and I could not stress enough to NOT bring your business accounts here.
I bank regularly with Huntington, and have never had issues with it. When it came time to open up a bank account for my Girl Scout troop, naturally this is the bank Im going to select. What a terrible decision in coming to this branch. I should have gone to another branch. The Business banker who took care of my transaction was terrible. He had to call and verify a few items through their corporate office, and while he was waiting for someone to answer the phone (leaving the speaker phone on) and he walks out of the office to get some items he printed! So while hes out of the office, someone answers the other line, and my co-leader and I have to explain what we are doing and stall until he returns. We get all the paperwork signed and good to go. He asked me questions about what I wanted the PIN on my debit card to be, and totally ignores my co-leader. We get the account opened, he refuses to offer checks, saying that he didnt see a need for us to have them, and sends us on our way.Fast forward a month - I get a call from him yesterday, saying Oh, theres some additional paperwork you need to sign. I emailed it to you. Uh, no? So then I have him email it to me and told him I would get it taken care of. He also claims to have called me before, but got no answer and left a message. What a crock! I have never had any messages from him, nor any missed called. Whatever, Ill take care of it. I was also told that if I dont get the paperwork signed and back to the bank within 10 days, they will close the account. Funny thing, his email to me says 7 days, so which is it?So today, why do I get another damn call from the bank, from a woman this time, telling me I need to stop in and sign more paperwork. Are you serious? I asked her if it was different from the paperwork the other banker ALREADY SENT ME. The paperwork also appears to need to be notarized (Im a notary public in Ohio, I know what those types of documents look like) only to be told over the phone that no notary is necessary. I am hoping that I wont have to go through this mess again, because if I do, then I will close the account and go to a more reliable bank.
Last Saturday (02/24/2018) I went to this bank to redraw money from my account through the drive through but the lady servicing refused to give me my money without a reason. I called customer service and was told she had no reason to not give me my money so I had to go to a different brand within a period of 30 mins and was able to withdraw and was also told the same thing the customer service said. Bad customer service, racist and incompetent worker without experience.
I have a loan with this bank and this specific location. It was great getting it set up, but now that we have had an issue, no one will return phone calls or emails, for two straight months. If I had it to do all over again, I would have never made the decision to use this bank.

2022-06-09Have been trying to close my account for a week, understood that I would have to make time to do this in person. First visit, teller told me after waiting 20 mins I needed an appointment. Called to make an appointment just to be told I dont need an appointment... Making another trip it to close my account, Colleen sets up a print out for the Branch manager, Sumayia to close the account when she gets to it.... After six calls within five hours no answer. I decided to go to the branch again, to waste my work break, and come to find out Sumayia never closed my account. Had to take a ridiculous $.03 balance from interest in the account and was only told that Sumayia will close the account by their end of business day.... I can truly understand the time of being short staffed. After seven hours, six calls, four visits, account still not closed, and being a valued customer this is completely unacceptable. I do not recommend opening any sort of account with Huntington bank. This is only one of many complications Ive had with Huntington and most of there customer service, being a long term customer. This bank needs to get it together.

2022-04-28Awfully slow. Only one bank teller here and there is 11 people in line. I see two people working but only one helping customers in here this is by far the worse branch Ive been to

2021-03-24Went in about a half hour ago. Wait wasnt that bad. I went in for documentation of my bank, you know the normal stuff like a Routing number and account number. Grace, the lady who helped me was nice. Until she gave me paperwork with false information on it. Dont have time to go back and get it fixed. Shouldve been done right the first time. Will not be back.

2020-12-31Employees are unprofessional and I had withdrew money out of my checking account and the amount I withdrew was duplicated as if I made two transactions of the same amount; had to wait in drive thru line for almost two hours to get this issue rectified. One thing they did do right was give me a courtesy call to ensure my money was placed back in the account and that the withdrawal didn’t show up twice. I appreciative the follow up from the branch manager their systems were down which caused the issue.

2021-05-24Literally ONE teller with a sign that states In training. Was the LONGEST wait as well as transaction once I finally got up to the counter. I absolutely will not return to this location. For what its worth, Kiara was very kind :)

2020-11-02Skip this branch. They close the lobby whenever they feel like it and force you to sit through a horrendously long drive through. This is the only Huntington branch I’ve ever been to that is constantly out of change “due to the pandemic”, while their other locations do have change... Businesses that bank with Huntington need change to operate... This location needs new management IMO.
