Dr. Jeremy Berning was very professional, pleasant and conversational, even remembering my children who had been in days earlier. He was very thorough and explained everything as he did it and offered good advice. The entire staff, including the front office folks, were helpful and friendly. Overall a fantastic experience.
Dr. Berning put dental bonding on my roots to cover gaps of gum recession. The whole process was very uncomfortable. My gums were very irritated after having multiple adjustments. I went to another dentist (NOT Hudec Dental) and they reshaped and smoothed them out. I don’t feel Dr. Berning is capable of doing this procedure.
My husband has been a patient of Hudec for years and does have anxiety about the dentist. He developed a cough a few days ago, we didnt think much of it and then yesterday started running a fever. We called the next morning to inform them and were met with a RUDE employee. I asked them what they thought we should do and she started talking about past appointments that he missed instead of showing any concern and working with us. She cut me off and gave me an attitude. Not Professional, Not Curteous. This is not the 1st problem I have had with Hudec. My husband convinced me to use Hudec and I agreed. I went to my 1st appointment and then they scheduled me with the oral surgeon at another location. I was told to call that location and reschedule my appointment for sooner because of pain, I left a message twice and never received a call back. I also called for my husband after and left messages on their voice-mail and no one ever responded. They DO NOT check their messages and then put all the blame on you when it is Hudec not checking messages. I was scolded for never calling but did call and left messages. I have since started recording any messages for proof that I called. Most people have anxiety towards a dentist office and Hudec has done nothing to make it easier. Very rude, very unprofessional & very unpleasant. I would expect better.
Had my first appointment today. Very thorough and professional. I highly recommend!
The dentist here was awesome! He fit me in (as a new patient) on short notice to treat an abscessed tooth, got me much needed antibiotics and scheduled me for another appointment with a specialist before I left. I would recommend 100% if you need a new dentist!
Dr. Berning is easily the best dentist Ive ever had. Expect smarts, humor, straight talk and great care.
Twice within a month I had appointments at this location and both times I arrived and was told that the hygienist/Dentist was not there. I wasn’t properly notified of this before my arrival and I took time off work for these visits. When I asked why wasn’t I notified prior to my visit, the receptionist tells me she “Thought that she texted me”. Incredibly unprofessional. I will be finding a new dentist office.
They are excellent! Replaced filling and one tooth needed grinding to smooth it! I recommend them . And there prices are very reasonable
Im not a fan of dentists. Id give this location 50 stars if I could. The staff here is wonderful and have been extremely patient with the work Ive needed done, not just for me but my husband as well. The Dr is personable and efficient and the hygienists are pleasant and professional. The scheduling is easy and they even offer spots for cancellations. Id recommend this location to anyone before anywhere else. Its def worth the drive for a stress-free experience! Thank you guys for being part of our healthcare team!

Absolutely spectacular! I’ve gone to other Hudec Dental offices but the Broadview Heights one is by far the best! They are the most thorough and professional office. They have helped me through some tough times with my teeth and I feel the most comfortable letting them handle one the most important aspects of my physical appearance than any other office. I could never thank them enough for being understanding and helpful.
I always hated the dentist but this Hudec Dental Broadview Heights location is absolutely awesome!!! They make you very comfortable, you barely feel a thing!!! The best dental service I have ever had. I was very self conscious about my teeth or letting anyone look at them but they made me feel good about myself. Alot of dentist will talk down to you about that and make you feel ashamed. Not this crew!!! I love them and they make you feel great and I am almost done with everything!! So blessed thank you guy and gals!!!!!

Hudec dental in Broadview heights is the best dentist I have ever been to! My teeth are very soft and I need a lot of work! Dr Berning Is very professional and great at what he does.I have been going there and having my teeth done on and off for the past year.Maria at the front desk is outstanding! My crowns I needed were denied recently by my insurance. Even though they were approved last year. I couldn’t have the work done because I was pregnant at the time. Maria walked me through all the steps to appeal the work needing done. She did an amazing job and was super helpful. She went above and beyond to help me get the paperwork and information I needed. Sure enough, She called me three days later and they were approved! I am so happy to start work on these teeth and feel confident again with my smile. Thank you Hudec Broadview for going above and beyond! You have a great team of workers there. Always making me and others feel welcome. You truly stand out and I recommend many to go here!
This was my first visit to Hudec dental and I am so pleased! The Broadview Heights office was clean, everyone was friendly and I feel like they truly care about me. They knew my name from the moment I walked in and helped me feel at ease. I was back two more times within a couple weeks for follow up procedures and all went smoothly. I highly recommend Hudec dental for all your dental needs!
My husband and I recently relocated to the Cleveland area from Cincinnati and were having a hard time transitioning dentist thanks to COVID. I stumbled across the Broadview Heights location and called to find out that they were actually accepting new patients! I was able to schedule an appointment for us both and am so glad that I did. I went to the same dentist pretty much my entire life so I was very nerves to see someone new but Dr. B and all of his staff are AMAZING - so amazing that I fall asleep in the chair while they are working. I highly recommend the Broadview Heights office to anyone looking.
I’ve always had a big fear of going to the dentist. My previous experiences with dental work haven’t been good, probably the reason why I hate going so much. But this location has actually given me my first positive experience with going to the dentist, the staff is so kind and welcoming... I can’t explain how much it means to have a comforting staff while going into something you’re scared of. Would definitely recommend this location to anyone.
I’ve been to about three different Hudec Dental locations over the years. This one on Broadview is the best. Abby and Maria at the front desk are the best and super funny, knowledgeable, and responsive. The hygienist Mackenzie is nice, has a lot of personality and does a really great job. The dentist is nice and does a super job as well. Five stars!
The best dental office I have ever been to. The dentist took the time to explain everything and make me feel comfortable. The office itself was very clean and the staff was top notch (especially Lexy & Shelby the Patient Coordinators at the front desk) and the hygienist was very thorough and knowledgeable!
McKenzie was my dental hygienist. She was extremely professional and handled my care with sensitivity and excellent consultation. I enjoyed her friendliness and her attention to detail while taking care of my teeth was exemplary. I highly recommend her as she is a great asset to Hudec.
Every Time I come to this office everyone is so very kind. The rooms are clean and everyone is following the COVID requirements . I had deepcleaning with my gums today and McKenzie was absolutely excellent. She always made sure I was comfortable and not feeling any pain.
I have really bad anxiety, and when I tell you DR. Berning did an amazing job... It would be an understatement. He will from this point forward be my dentist!!!! Thank you Hudec for having him be apart of your team!!! Im very happy with the outcome of my experience. He pulled my tooth with no pain and with ease.
Terrible! Absolutely terrible! My appointment was at 9:30 a.m. and I didn’t get seen until 45 minutes later. They even asked me to arrive 15 minutes early for check in, in which I did. The dentist was horrible. She seemed as if she was in a rush to take care of other patients besides myself. She spoke very fast and recommended treatments without explanations to why I need to be treated with them. She referred me to specialist and stated that I may have a hard time getting appointments with them or my insurance may not be covered by them. Also, while checking my teeth and gums, she performed a painful procedure that I have never had performed in my 40 years of living on this Earth. After telling her how uncomfortable it was, she said that my gums were bad and recommended that I floss and brush everyday. I told her that I floss and brush everyday along with using mouth rinses. I also asked her why my previous dentists did not see what she is seeing. She could not provide an explanation. I saw 2 dentists within the last three months by the way and they never said anything about gum disease nor did they perform the procedure that she performed. The only reason I could not go back to my previous dentists is because my insurance changed and my previous dentists don’t take my new insurance. She recommended a deep cleaning and fillings in teeth that didn’t even need to be filled. She also recommended an expensive electric toothbrush. She made me feel like a number instead of a patient. She also made me feel that she just wanted to do things for money instead of actually taking care of my actual needs. She was horrible!!!! If I were a decision maker for Hudec dental, I would recommend visiting Dental Works and getting tips from their culture and staff!!!!!
The service is great! Dr. Berning is great, very attentive, professional, and knowledgeable. I usually dont get anesthesia well, on the first try the anesthesia worked and everything went smooth. Also the dental assistant is very professional and attentive. The whole working team is great and great atmosphere. Definitely will come back to this office.
I just had a tooth removed today and doctor berning asked me if I wanted to see my tooth and I didnt even know it was out yet! This is one of the many reasons I will.l continue to choose the Broadview Heights location of the Hudec Dentals. Their customer service is always full spectrum. From the time you walk in until the time you walk out! They are all amazing!

Ive never been to a dentist office that I actually enjoyed going to other than this location. Every employee that Ive interacted with at the Broadview Heights location has always been a delight.The energy the crew brings really helped counteract the negative feeling Ive always had connected with the dentist.
Never write reviews but will take the time in this case. I was never made aware of a balance which was owed back in April of 2019 because statements were being sent to an incorrect address. As a result, the outstanding balance was sent to a collection agency. The confusing part is the balance had been paid off for nearly 2 years, yet the collection agency informed me that the balance was still owed? After calling Hudec Dental, I was misdirected to a company called Credit Glory instead of the collection agency which Hudec Dental sent my account to. This led me to believe that they (Hudec Dental) are not aware of the collection agency they may be using. If anyone knows how to pay a balance when you are not notified via correct address please advise. The main issue here is that if I had not called to verify the balance with the collection agency this would have remained on my credit report. This is the reason I will never seek dental services from Hudec Dental again.
Dr. Berning was exceptionally patient and kind with me, not to mention his work was impeccable. His dental assistants and front office staff were also very proficient, professional, and personable. Office was also a super sanitary and clean.
These people are magicians. I could not recommend them enough. I showed up with an emergency, in agony, misadvised by a previous dentist. They made time for me, tolerated my incoherent babbling from the pain, did everything they could to calm and comfort me, and saw to it I was taken care of immediately.I cannot recommend this dentist enough.Read that again. I cannot. Recommend. Them. Enough.

I have been to the Hudec location in Broadview Hts. several times now. They are absolutely amazing and friendly. They are always able to answer all my questions and make me feel comfortable. I truly love the wonderful staff there.
The Hygienist, Tracey, is excellent. She is always on time and gentle, yet effective, in cleaning my teeth. Shelley did an excellent job at explaining all the details of my dental procedure being performed, she was very patient and answered all of my questions completely. My only criticism is that nothing was being explained to me at first, until i started asking questions, I then found that everyone from the front desk personnel to the Dentist himself was more than willing to take whatever time needed to make me feel comfortable and answer my questions. The new dentist (sorry I forgot his name), ran on time and used excellent technique in performing my dental procedure, it was relatively painless!! I normally do not write reviews, let alone positive reviews, however, I have been impressed with this dental practice. If you previously had a bad experience with another Hudec Dental location I have found that they all kind of run independently so you very likely can have a much more positive experience at a different location. I have had many different dentists at different locations over the years. I may have found a dental practice that I can stay at for a while.
I want to give a loud shout-out to Dr. Berning and his staff at the Broadview Hts. office. Over the last year. I have had extensive dental procedures done due to my Sjogrens Syndrome. Numerous appointments, surgeries, and dental work. He and his staff have worked closely with my periodontist on numerous situations and have coordinated my procedures with outstanding teamwork. Dr Berning is a caring and conscientious person. I felt completely at ease working with him. His whole staff is friendly and very caring. I am almost looking forward to working with them on my next procedure.
Dr Berning and his team are wonderful! My continued treatment was completed today and I am overjoyed with my care! And I do in fact have a smile on my face!!! Highly recommend!!!
I was terrified of going to the dentist for years but since my medical changed I found hudec and chose broadview heights. They were very nice and understanding. Glad I found my dentist that I can recommend everyone.

My son has been seen in this office numerous times, for extensive work. He isnt always the easiest patient & rarely positive. His reaction to this office is outstanding, he has nothing but positive things to say . The staff is truly professional and understanding to his needs.I would recommend this office 100%
I had cavity filled here which took like 2.5 hours to do it. They had to fix it once or twice when filling it. After six months, I go to my other dentist, Solon Smiles (excellent dentist) and they tell me the filling was poorly done and needs to be drilled out and redone. I am not surprised as the actual filling process was long and awkward. I think a PAC not a full fledged dentist did the filling. I am glad you got to practice on me, but your practicing on someone on disability in pain everyday. Thanks for adding to the load. Oh by the way, I went to Garfield Heights Hudec and they suck as well. Caused jaw pain and could not even get me numb enough to begin filling any cavities. What a joke. Hudec family, I hope you leave Ohio. I would gladly pay out of pocket to not see any of your locations ever again!
Going to the dentist is not one of my favorite things to do, however the staff that I encounter at Hudec is friendly, courteous, extremely knowledgeable and efficient. Dr. Kourey and Tracy always make me feel at ease and I know that I am in competent hands. I can not say enough about all of the wonderful people I have met beginning with the nice office staff. They certainly keep me smiling!
The dental hygienist, Tracy, was superb. The care was excellent as well as Dr. J. The front desk staff were very welcoming and important for first impressions. They handled cost, insurance, and explained everything and also provided what needed to be done and future cost. Strongly recommended.
The people here are wonderful. They young lady Diamond fixed my tooth. She did an excellent job. Although the other dentist wouldnt let her the tooth next to it. Im still satisfied.
I was referred to Hudec Dental by my insurance company. Being in the dental field for 20 plus years, I am very particular and it is important for me to feel comfortable from the moment I walk into an office. Well, Hudec went farther than that, the first call I made to make the appointment was impressive, and the person on the phone was polite and patient when helping me find an appointment time. The Broadview Hts. office has a top notch team. The front desk, dental assistants, and Dr. Berning were all amazing. Even when my insurance changes, I will most definately continue my dental care in this office. Thank you for making me feel at ease!
My first appointment and auto is my first time there. Were so friendly me a nice that It felt as if I had been going there forever. Very positive experience as they made recommendations on keeping my teeth healthy and gave me the opportunity to decide for myself what I wanted done based on those recommendations.
The staff here is engaging, personable, and experienced. I hadnt been to the dentist in years due to lack of insurance, but Hudec has affordable options for cash patients. Ill definitely be back to see Dr. Khoury and Tracy the hygienist! Jess, the office manager, too! Great job everyone!

I was sad when I was informed that Dr. Khoury would no longer be at the Broadview Heights location. I was always pleased with her conservative approach and she did great work. Its so worrisome for me when I have to switch dentists, but I can say that Dr. Berning is top-notch! At my first exam with him, he noticed the start of decay around the margins of a 24 year old crown and recommend that it be replaced. Ive never had a crown replaced and was EXTREMELY nervous since it is a live tooth. The work was done yesterday and Im thrilled with the care I received. He was gentle with the drill and explained as he went along. He took extra precaution by adding protection against sensitivity (something thats usually an issue for me and had been 24 years ago with this tooth) to the area where he had to drill a little deeper. I find him to be very trustworthy, skilled, and personable. If you are considering the practice, or a previous patient of Dr. Khourys, I assure you that youll be in good hands.
Dr Berning completed myRoot canal today with prestige and it was a painless experience that I was dreading because of my anxiety with dental procedures, he and his staff from front to back are professional and comforting that I would recommend this office to all of my friends and family for a great dental office 😊

No one likes to go to the dentist, especially to get anything more than a cleaning. Tracy, the hygienist is awesome! Also, dr, khoury put me at ease when I had to get my first fillings! She walked me through the process and told me each step she was doing along the way. Thank you to this team!
They lied about submitting a claim to my insurance, kept making appointments that I wasnt sure I could make because my schedule varies, therefore causing me to either be late for work or miss the appointment, putting me on same-day only and had to call every morning to see if I could walk in, which I couldnt. Never listened to what I said was bothering me the most, and remember, never submitting claim, and the end result being that I can either come up with a couple grand to replace the tooth or just have it pulled. Because Ive had to wait so long, the tooth finally broke and here we are. Hudec has always been and will remain butchers! I wish I had never wasted my time with them.
Very poor business practice, most of the employees are not aware of hudec dental mission statement.I was in extreme pain from a filling they put in and made an appointment. When I showed up to the appointment they refused to see me because I had an 80 doller balance and they wouldnt take 20 dollers towards the balance so I could take care of the filling they put in! The second appointment I was also refused because I only had 50 dollars towards the 80 doller balance. Im glad Hudah dental is so concerned over 80 dollers rather then the patient, especially after they caused the problem in the first place bye putting in the wrong filling. Once I asked to speak with management they where very rude and not concerned with the patient. My next step is to file a complaint with the better business bureau, and continue letting people know on social media what a poor business this really is, they cause the dental problem then want the patient to pay for the screw up. My advice to the employees is apply your hudec dental mission statement, and consider your patients well being. God bless

Front desk secretaries are rude. The dentist spoke to us condescendingly as she rejected my mothers insurance card. Office was poorly lit. Waiting room furniture reminds you of 1983. Unsafe neighborhood. I will find a more qualified dentist for my elderly mom..
I absolutely love my dentist and this review is not about her. The office cancelled my last 3 appointments because the hygienist will be on vacation. 3 times in a year and a half? Wow. I dont understand why I have to have this particular hygienist. Anyone is fine and I have no odd problems or anything like that. Totally disgusted. I dont want to find a new dentist at this stage of the game but they have left me no choice.
I love Hudec Dental and the people that work there! They treat you like your family. If you have pain or sensitivity issues like I do, they will understand. I would recommend Hudec Dental to all of my family and friends!
Had a 9:30 am appointment to replace one filling and I was told that it would take 30 minutes so I made two other appoints after 11am. My 30 minute procedure turned into a 2 hour and 20 minute ordeal because there equipment broke down! After it was repaired, they worked on me inbetween working on other customers. The dentist told me I should feel special because they called someone in to fix the equipment just for me. Last week I was at 15 minute oil change and they had equipment issues during my oil change and my oil change was for free. At Hudec I was told it was not their fault because of the equipment issues and there would be no compensation to the bill. 15 minute oil change Belo as in customer service and I will be back. May be Hudec Dental needs to review their policies and put the customer time and relationships in front of money!

Had to have my bridge replaced because my old one fell out and let me tell you I am so pleased with the results. I use to cover my mouth when I smile because the color was so off on my old bridge, and now I am smiling from ear to ear without raising my hand at all. Thanks to all of you!!
Absolutely awful. i dont recommend any females going to this dentist....stop right now and find a better place. the manager, of ALL PEOPLE, hits on females...offering a bribe of going out on a date to lower their cost of whatever they are going to owe.and even after the fact, when i tried to take this up with the officials, nobody did anything about it or held any type of concern. definitely a major disappointment for trying a dentist for first time after being on my own.

I am a person who has great fear of dentists. I also suffer from panic disorder & at the time of my extractions, I was suffering from a Vertigo attack. I have been in pain since December & on antibiotics as well for an impacted wisdom tooth & molar that were decaying. It was unbearable. My original appointment was to be for the 26th of April, it was the soonest opening for an Oral surgeon. I was also on the cancelation list. I lucked out & was so relieved to get in there last week. I met Dr. Schween & he was so calming. Very personable & reassuring to me. I told him about being under a Vertigo attack which makes me dizzy when I put my head back & he was so accommodating, like it wasnt even a concern. I was probably a nightmare patient for him, however he never made me feel embarrassed for that. He pulled the teeth out after little of his magic & me moaning & groaning & then poof! It was over so quickly. I was semi in shock because of my panic disorder & the women who was assisting him reassured me that I was fine. Im probably the prime patient to be put to sleep for extractions, but could not afford it so I was relieved they didnt kick me out of their office. Lol. My only suggestion would be that a follow phone call wouldve been nice. My mouth was doing so many different things over the following days, it wouldve been nice to have had some answers. But ultimately, Im so thankful for Dr. Schween, Im sorry I was a difficult patient, but thank you so much for going above and beyond for my needs. I wont be so nervous next time for sure, because Ill know Im in great care. You are an awesome person & Oral surgeon.

The staff is excellent, knowledgeable, friendly, and do a great job of communicating. I have had many great experiences and would recommend the Broadview heights office to anyone.
Dr S. Magrey is horrible, her attitude and customer service , is the worst that ive ever experienced from a professional dentist. I was coming in to get a root canal ,but because she had already done several, it wasnt looking to good for me. She decided to just do a filling instead.she insisted that I looked nervous, and tried to give me a volume to relax me. I declined, not all black people want drugs..So I let her fill the tooth. I guess that was an option, but after several weeks a nasty tastes would come from my tooth. I decided to go back for my root canal. She gave me the first shot and walked away, I waited , she returned to do the next one. I again waited for it to become numb, but a bubble formed, huh I thought, so I asked the assistant to assured me, it was fine. Meanwhile I could hear her having a heated argument with a gentleman in the next room. She then came in the room with me, grabbed my cheek, and stuck the needle down my tooth, which felt like a knife stabbing my gum, I sunk into the chair with disbelief, and she immediately started to yell at me, sayingHow do u expect me to do a root canal, if u cant be still?Do you want to reschedule. It was in a very nasty tone. I said hold up, you didnt give me a change to prepare! Before u jammed the needle in my mouth. She was still angry about the argument she just had with the fellow next store. I had enough of her, I ripped my bib off,and said if you would have done the correct procedure, I wouldnt be here now! IM SO DONE WITH HER, SHE SUCKS, HER ATTITUDE IS HORRIBLE, I would never recommend her to anyone. I would rather have my teeth pulled then to deal with her...ugggg

New staff and doctor. I was not notified about the change. The secretary was very pleasant and nice. As for the rest of the staff they were rude and short with me. I am very unsatisfied with the quality of care I received. I will not be returning to this office. I do not reccomend you going there unless you like to be treated like trash.
I had a very short wait time and was in and out of there very fast. Staff is always friendly to me. No complaints!

I had an excellent experience at Hudec Dental in Broadview Heights, Oh. Everyone there was VERY pleasant and made me feel very comfortable.
Worst place ever dr.asai pull two teeth out and the bottom one was broken after an hour of pulling and pulling he broke it more drilled for another 30 minutes then had to put 5 stitches which my jaw feels 10 times worst from when i came in and lets not talk bout the wait almost 3 hours cause he jams 6 people in at the same time so he numbs me and leaves comes back ask me a question and leaves they are thiefs with payments worst timing ever and lets not talk bout how they give u motrin for everything even if you get cut open dont go here even if you have to pee and theres nowere else to go i sugest you go behind a garbage can before you step in this place...p.s clean the bathrooms looks like a homeless shelter nasty and stinky run away from this place👎👎

Definitely DONT recommend coming here... had to wait 30 minutes past my appointment time, before my cleaning i expressed some concerns and the person who cleaned my teeth said she would check it out but never did, had to wait 15 minutes at the counter before i could leave and theyll make you sign a paper and charge your insurance even if you dont plan on coming back for the care they recommend (i needed a filling but they couldnt do it the same day??? I told them i was NOT returning to get it done and they still charged it to my insurance)

I had an appointment today at 9:20 am. I arrived at 9:15 am and was told that I wasnt in the computer. I showed them my appointment card but I was told that all they could do was reschedule my appointment. Dont waste your time with these unprofessional, incompetent people.

2022-04-05The dentist was aware that I have odontophobia. He made me feel so much more comfortable than any of the other dentist ever has. I had a root canal done and couldnt believe he was done when he said he was done. The only thing I felt was the numbing medication when they injected it. No pain at all, other than the numbing shots which are over in a second and arent terrible. Im so happy I found this dentist at this specific location. The dental assistants are also very kind..

2022-03-02Amazing care from absolutely everyone in the office! I have serious anxiety when it comes to the dentist. Ive been going to the same dentist for over 15 years and would even travel about 45 minutes to get work done. Now with two kiddos under 2, its virtually impossible to keep seeing him and keep making the lengthy trips. I looked into getting a new dentist and I am so thankful I found Dr. Berning and his staff at Hudec. I was leary of a chain practice but Dr. Berning and his staff are amazing. Highly competent, compassionate, and friendly are some of the words I would use to describe each and every person in the office. I would absolutely recommend this practice.

2022-05-18Still so friendly and helpful. I had 5 teeth extracted by Dr. Berning three years ago and more done only a day ago again he did a fabulous job. This was done quickly and painlessly. He and the staff made sure I knew all the post operation care instructions. They also made it clear that if I need anything they are just a call away.
