We tried Hot Heads for the first time tonight. The food was good. I called before ordering online to get a description of the sauces, I spoke to Vince. He was super nice and went over each of the sauces with us. We really appreciated him taking his time to explaining the flavors for us, it helped make it that much better.

Great people work behind the counter all of the meats pork chicken steak ground beef look very fresh along with the tomatoes salsas lettuce cheeses peppers and onions and like 10 different other sauces that are very mild which have very little bite to the sauce and the hottest sauce is still in question since i need to work myself to handle the heat
I love the variety of veggies and sauces you can add to your bowl, burrito or nachos. They also have great meat choices and tacos that are all quite large portions.

Food was good. Service was good. The chicken was all dark meat which is not my preference. The salsa I had was just basically chopped tomatoes not much flavor. Overall it was good next time I will try something different.
Rice was ok, meat was ok, the variety of sauces was great. Fajita standard but veggie mix was awesome. Cheese mix, sour cream, quac all standard. The flavored tortilla was a nice change.Overall falls short when compared to Chipotle.

I got a chicken bowl and paid for double chicken and it was the amount of less than a single serving.

Great food, I usually get the Paleo #2 option bowl when here, I think this place is better than Chipotle, it tastes fresher to me too. They should give me a free Paleo bowl since I go here once a week perhaps:) haha..
Not sure what I just spent $14.00 on...I was left with a terrible taste in my mouth after I ate what was supposed to be guacamole. I couldnt even eat it with my chips. Which actually had no flavor at all, so I didnt want them anyways. The burrito was bland. The ice tea was watered down. My friend ordered a steak burrito and he said it tasted like salt wrapped in a tortilla. The food was overpriced and definitely not worth the money. Nobody asked us if we had been there before. Nobody explained the sauces or told us anything about the menu when we ordered. It still wouldnt have made the food any better, but good customer service would have helped.
They have very good food! The staff making the burritos are friendly. I have ordered in store and online. The food is stored in a heat box when ordering online and ready for pick when I arrived. The burritos are very good and choices for extras is great. I always get the guacamole and always get a good helping. Excellent food and service!
Love the food and the great customer service...HOWEVER...Im not thrilled with the fact that we were asked to tip them...when I stood in line...I ordered everything on my burrito...I paid for my burrito...I refilled our beverages...and I cleaned up after myself when I was done eating. Yet they asked for a tip and made it awkwardly uncomfortable at that moment!!Waiters and Waitresses get tips based on table service!! I dont tip the kitchen staff for putting the meal on my plate when I go out to dinner at other restaurants either!UPDATE: Since Google Maps doesnt allow me to reply to the owners comments directly, I guess I have to reply by doing an update.The person running the register hit whatever button they did to make the credit card screen show where I needed to put in a tip. They then asked me how much of a tip I would like to give them?!Thats way different than just having a tip jar sitting there for me to donate to if I so choose!!Im even more surprised that you as the owner didnt apologize for what happened! I stated very clearly that the situation was very awkward and uncomfortable. Is that how you want your customers to feel when they come into your restaurant?!?
Clean, happy environment that you always want when visiting a restaurant. Using my 7 years experience in the food industry, Let me tell you that this restraurant is clearly very well managed, and the employees are very good at what they do. The food is very good, and Ive never had an issue in the 20+ times i have been at this location.
I want to love this place but the workers have been VERY RUDE and GROSSLY UNPROFESSIONAL as of recent months. Ive seen employees eating right over the food bins, touching their faces, pulling up their pants etc., with the protective gloves on, and then handling the food. GROSS AND DANGEROUS! I wont return. I dont expect perfection but there are somethings you just shouldnt have to tolerate.
Everything was fresh and hot! They have a better variety of items to put in your bowl or burrito than Chipotle. They almost need a tour guide for first time visitors!!! Im sure Ill go back.
This was my first time there, however I was pleased with my food and the service. The restaurant is well lit and clean. The staff are welcoming and aim to please. To get the most out of your visit it helps to know which flavors compliment the next. Enjoy.
Definitely more options than chipotle. Did not feel overly full and definitely enjoyed the fact that they have little burrito bowls instead of the huge burrito bowls. Super kind and polite as well. Will definitely visit again!
Everyone in the household is used to the OTHER burrito place. Must say i was pleasantly surprised. Food was great and prices a bit lower than the other place. Staff was helpful because we knew nothing of the menu. Great place
The food there was ok at best. The flavors were alright. But we had put in a pick up order about 45 minutes prior to getting there and food wasnt made by the time we were there. Despite being fresh, the food was somehow cold. They forgot to put condiments on the side and forgot lettuce on something. Overall, it was disappointing. We wont be going back.
I finally checked it out. I had never had hot heads...always went to Chipotle. The staff was super friendly and it wasnt busy at all. I got a bowl, a few more topping options than Chipotle. The sauces are the big thing and I have to say the one I chose was good. Good enough that I would rather the sauce selection than not having one so now this is my new burrito spot.
Good staff and service, clean restaurant, just not crazy about the food. Dont get me wrong, its good, but its basically a very average version of chipotle with not enough more options to make it unique it stand out. It is spicier though, living up to the name. Id eat it again but not my preference.
Like Chipotle, but much better. Cleaner restaurant with faster and friendly service. The barbacoa is always good, Ive yet to have Chipotles version without getting a huge chunk of fat or gristle. Everything just tastes better and fresher, without being ridiculously salty like Chipotle is.
Tastes delicious and has good flavor. I like the ability to pick different items such as quesadillas plus you can spice up the protein if you want. Many choices and has a good rewards programs. Enjoy them often!
Its a chipotle alternative but with more options. Clean atmosphere and went doing lunch time with barely a line. Nice selections of sauces to go on your burrito or bowl. If your unsure which sauce to try you can get them in a small cup add sauce at your discretion.
Overall a terrible experience. There was an up charge for most everything there. The portion of meat that you get with your order amounts to about 2 tablespoons. When I asked for more meat they said it had a small scoop and then a large scoop for $2.50 more which still didnt even come close to a chipotle portion. It was neat that they let you put different sauces on it but they only give you tiny spray of it and then it was the only thing you could taste. The person I was with didnt get sauce and said the bowl tasted very bland or the ingredients didnt mesh very well. If you ask me its a poor mans chipotle that charges more. If you are thinking of even trying this place for a meal, dont bother, your not missing much.

3.5 at best. The sauces make it different than their competitors but amount of fajitas were microscopic portions. Nobody there at high tide on Saturday. Owner is a great guy. Can only get better.
Their was a blonde haired lady, couldn’t been no more than the age of 20 I believe her name was Tricia. Anyways this girl was very rude and seemed very off. I arrived like I usually do just a simple walk in for my regular burrito bowl. I got greeted a nice young man. And I noticed her just standing there while everyone else was doing something then when I went to cash out she was very rude. I believe I’m either going to go to another location or switch back to nasty chipotle this really ruined my experience at this amazing place. Such a shame.
Honestly just feel like it is a more bland version of Chipotle. Service is okay but if the food isnt up to par then no reason to really go back. Everything in my bowl was just lacking taste all around.

The order was wrong (missing ingredients and had the wrong sauce). When I asked about it, I got a rude and obnoxious lecture from a teeneger, blaming me. The order confirmation was correct but the order wasnt. I had to throw out the order since it tasted terrible. I dont recommend them.
Literally have the best Chinese and Japanese food! Everything my family has had from here hus been delicious, hot, and the price is amazing! When you call, there estimated time is typically incorrect. We freque fly wait an addition 10-15 minutes longer than what they say but it is due to their popularity and that the food is fresh. TOTALLY WORTH THE wAIT! Especially for the quality and quantity of food for an excellent price. Oh and the variety they offer is unmatched. I do wish they were open on mondays though
Personally, I wasn’t a fan simply because you get less food for more money. I can go to Chipotle and get a bigger burrito and pay less for chicken. It’s nice that this place has more variety for adding into your bowl/burrito, but not worth the price.
Very disappointed with the place. We ordered online and maybe thats where our mistake was made. This was our first time trying and when your order gets messed up you probably will not try again. We ordered chicken tacos and we got tacos with no chicken just veggies. Then we ordered a childrens quesadilla meal and we didnt get the sides of a cookie or fruit shoots.I looked at the receipt and our order was correctly entered so the fault wasnt on ordering online. Im not someone who will drive all the way back to restaurant to fix an order. So stuff like this really to put it politely makes me so fricken annoyed.
In its most basic terms, it is essentially a Chipotle, but slightly better. they have their own specialty burritos, which, in my opinion, can get quite spicy and delicious, and their chips, unlike Chipotles, dont taste as stale as a piece of cardboard.

Food was fresh and good. Concept is similar to Subway & Chipotle with variety of options & sauces you can put on the burritos. the place was very well maintained and clean. Not costly, which is good for fresh food.
Most burritos only take the heat up to 10. What if you could take the heat and make it go up one more? These go to 11...
Service is fast. Food has good flavor. Cost is high for what you get. Seems like every single item is an upcharge. A burrito, chips & queso dip, small drink over $18 total?? Want dipping queso or salsa, no problem, $4. Oh you want a teeny bag of nacho chips to dip in that?, another $3. Not to mention after heavily dipping into the bowl of queso, I still ran out of chips and had to scrap the 2 tablespoons of queso left over! Forgot to mention that I had to sit at a table with smeared food on it because none of the tables had been wiped off. Even when I left I tried to clean my spot up best I could for the line of patrons who were still ordering. Young male running the cash register had company the entire 25mins I was in the store eating. A young, female, non-employee (apparently a girlfriend) was busy chatting with him, standing basically next to him, as the store is laid out like a service line with register on end.
Can become a bit pricey but my review of three stars is based around the stomach issues I had following eating it. food tasted good but the end result was not of you catch my drift.

I was here for customer appreciation day on July 12th, 2019 and it was fantastic! The line was really quick and the service was excellent! Cannot recommend this place enough. And the food is to die for btw. Yay burritos!
Burritos! Bowls! Sure, you could go to Chipotle. BUt Its a different experience. Why? THE SAUCES. There are multiple sauces to add to your burrito experience, from mild stuff like ranch and BBQ, to straight up super hot peppers. Combine for dozens of flavor combinations. They also have savings for duos and family deals. Go eat burritos! GO!

Ive been working in Brunswick and come into this place at least twice a week... For the last month. When I order at Hot Head, fairies and forest animals surround the artist constructing my Heavenly delight, singing and helping right before my eyes. I pay not more than a haypenny for the priceless good I will soon consume. I begin. My mouth full of burrito, heart full of love, eyes full of tears. My stomach as full and complete as my soul after leaving. I need one in Willoughby.
Visited from out of town. My daughter loved it so much we went 3 times and now I have to make her quesadillas like theirs for her. Very good.

2022-03-01Stopped in to Hot Head for a quick lunch. Callie was very helpful in making suggestions as to what sauces would go well with my pork bowl. Love their sweet habanero sauce. The serving portion is huge. I will easily get 2 lunches out of my meal. A bit pricey, but the burrito bowl I had was very good.

2022-02-27Don’t do it!!! Ration police..!!Dined in today. While they were building my burrito bowl I could literally count how many chicken cubes rolled off of the serving spoon and into the bowl. I was shocked when I realized he wasn’t going to put another scoop of meat. Actually had to order double meat to get a regular portion. Not sure what happened to this location. The only thing that didn’t seem to get rationed poorly was the mountain of rice they use to fill you with. Awful. 2 bowls and a kid meal almost $40 whoa!!! Won’t be coming back to Brunswick location.

2022-03-07Always friendly staff here. Ive tried the tacos, but I usually go with a bowl. Great food selections..I tried a little pineapple once and now I have them add it every time. The one thing thats disappointing is that the ghost pepper sauce isnt available any more...that stuff was amazing!

2022-03-20Food was fresh and delicious. My first time eating there. The staff was very helpful. It was a little more pricey than I expected. Their chips are course and delicious, but the chip portions were small for the queso dip.

2022-06-16Just tried hot heads for the first time tonight and there was a tiny piece of toothpick in my food that I almost swallowed and in my friends burrito he found one too and accidentally swallowed it!! Not sure if this is common but it should definitely be looked into. We both got chicken

2021-09-17We usually order at the Strongsville Location. They were closed at 8pm so we ordered online. We picked up our order and it was trash. Very little portions, missing things that were paid for, no drink or Cookie with the kids meal, All were cold and nasty. Just all bad. I called the manager today. She said she was sorry and offered me a coupon. Ive never had a bad meal in Strongsville. Im not sure what happened here. A coupon and Im sorry wasnt enough for a 40$ order and A drive.Pass on this spot drive to Strongsville!

2021-12-01Dont eat here. Probably the most expensive build your own burrito place in the whole country. Outrageous! Im not sure what I spent $16.50 on for one person to eat but. It was cold. The steak was chewy and flavorless. Employees were rude. The only positive thing i have to say is it was clean and the workers wore gloves. Thats it. Back to Chipotle I go!

2021-12-25My husband was going down the line and after his meat and rice the kid wrapped it and started dumping cheese on it. My husband said wait I wanted more stuff in my burrito. The kid tried to play it off and say thats how its done lol so he proceeded to dump salsa, corn, sour cream etc... All over the burrito. Then my husband goes to pay as they are making my burrito and the same kid didnt tell the cashier in time to add my guac. This guy goes into full panic over $1.50 in guac trying to stop the transaction. when that didnt work he created a whole new order just for the guac and ran my husbands card again. He never smiled, he wasnt polite. It was a weird interaction overall. oh and chipotle is definitely better. I was so disappointed with the taste of my food.

2021-08-13I figured Id eat here twice before reviewing as the register runner kinda irritated me and I didnt want it to influence my review. The food was delicious and the portions are big(depending on whos building it)and Id advise using the foil wrapper around your burrito unless you like wearing your food. Only complaint is on certain days the burritos are 2 for $12.99 what it doesnt tell you is if you get to many toppings or any extras its not gonna be 12.99. Our 2 burritos came to $22.89 on said 2 for 12.99 burrito day. It was delicious both times though
